App is very slow to print. The app is very slow in sending data to the instax wide printer. Printing one photo takes 30 seconds! I’m hoping the developers can speed things up a bit. It would also be nice to be able to queue up images to print. Right now, the app does work, but the functionality is very limited. Wish list for this app: 1. Make the printing process fast! When I press print, I expect the printer to receive and print the data instantly (not 20 seconds!) 2. Be able to queue up what you would like to print based on number of instax film paper available. 3. The “Recents” tray keep on sliding up unnecessarily and unexpectedly. Please fix! Otherwise, the photo quality is AMAZING!! 😄

Photos in iPhone not showing in app. Really unhappy with this app so far. There are several photos I would like to print from my iPhone Photos app (let’s say, in the “Recents” folder) that are not displayed in the Instax Link Wide app. Why?

App needs a refresh.. For something that’s been out a while. The app doesn’t seem to have evolved much from its early stages of development. Has a lot of haptics that need work. For such a big company and a device that has so much potential. Not a lot of effort has been put into the app that runs this device.

Works just fine!. Not sure what the beef is from the other person, but this little thing works great and you CAN print from your mac. Yes there is cropping but that is because the aspect ration of the print needs to be taken into account. This isn't for fine art, just for funzies, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Less functionality than mini link app. I am a confused as to why this app does not have same basic functionality as the instax link mini app. There is no way to access the camera to take a photo & print in app for the instax link wide software! You have to exit take a photo, then re-enter - not as streamlined as the mini app! I know this is a newer printer but think it’s app should have the same basic functionality. Hope it is updated ASAP.

Garbage. The app does not work. You cannot use the printer without the app. It does not acknowledge that it’s connected to my phone. It may print one photo after an hour of trying to encourage it to work - - and then the next second say there is no Bluetooth connection. I would *never* buy this printer again with such a terrible app and support. Just stick to the actual instax camera (which I have and love) or find another brand of printer. So disappointed and zero help online from the company.

Terrible lack of function has wasted my film. I’ve had 3 misprints out of 7 attempts using this app so far, and all have shown cropped correctly before printing then done the literal inverse of what I painstakingly selected. Film is not cheap and wasting product due to a nonfunctional app that clearly was thrown together with very little effort is frustrating to say the least.

I like it. I’m not sure why the reviews are so low. I’ve had no problems with it and its super easy to work. Hopefully my review will get the rating up because it’s really a good app. I was super skeptical when i saw the reviews because they were rated so low but once i downloaded it and tried it, it worked perfectly! All the pictures are sooo cute!

Poor UX. It’s very obvious that this app involved very little or no UX design input/user testing. Besides the spacing and the look of things being off, it is so difficult to rotate a picture and if you accidentally click on the frame which you will when you are trying to dial-in it brings up your camera roll. Please get some design eyes on this. Does it work? Yes! Is it pleasant? No! I would expect more from a $150 device that requires app usage to work.

Cant connect to bluetooth. This is a poorly designed app and interface. After spending 20 minutes trying to connect my phone to the device i still cant figure it out. What do i need to do here?

Pretty garbage.... it will always crop your image... no way to print form a mac computer. but the idea is fun. just horrible execution.

Not user friendly. The printer is good and the images come out decent quality but the app is not user friendly

Works but….. It centers and crops the image on your phone. It has a crop function but does allow you to move from the center position. Pretty basic tool missing.

Garbage app. I can’t even get the full picture to print through this app because it cuts out the edges of any format picture and you can’t zoom it out past a certain point. Selfie prints are impossible because of this unless I only want half of my face showing. The editing is completely bare and close to useless. I really only want to be able to print my whole freaking picture and you can keep having a good app, but I can’t even do that. Considering getting a Polaroid printer or camera because they at least have a good app. F

I can’t connect the Instax. When I go to print my image the device won’t connect. It doesn’t even show up.

Works great but needs functionality to connect to more Fujifilm X-series cameras. Review is in progress, but right off the bat, I can say I really enjoyed printing from any photo I manage to get on my camera. It’s very seamless, and people’s eyes light up. However, the app is a bit annoying in that it doesn’t have direct connection to X-series cameras like the X100V. This would be a huge upgrade. I know Fujifilm has already implemented this in the SP-2 and SP-3 printers. Why can’t they let us connect to their other cameras outside of the XS-10? This would easily make the Instax Wide Link the best accessory for their cameras.

I really wish it had “photobooth” mode.. This app is good overall, but it could use a lot more funky retro filters. Apart from that, I really wish it had a “photobooth” mode. For example, with your phone on a stand in selfie mode, you would be able to take 1 to 4 photos before the app asks you if you want to print immediately or not. You could set the collage style and other features beforehand, for example. A photobooth mode would add a lot to the fun this app could provide.

Horrible user interface. It could be much better. It just needs the right team to develop a much better UI

Great Printer, Terrible App. It’s disappointing how basic this app is. What you see on screen, placement of a text for example, it’s not accurate and you’ll see it displaced when you have the print. So far, I love the printer but I hate using the app. I’m not using any of the features. Edit my photos on my phone and use the app only to print.
