Everything you need at your fingertips!. I have been using ZoHo in different businesses for a few years now. Their apps are much more powerful than many of the traditional/longer established brands out there. With this app, I can run my whole business finances from the palm of my hand.

Great for business owners. Zoho books is very easy to use and provides a ton of value. I use zoho to manage my overall cash flow. The app UI is great and the desktop UI is even better in my opinion.

Good but missing too many key features. Guys pls look at what’s on the market to see key features needed. Need quick easy access to scan receipts from the main dashboard. One button away. Need ability to send out checks from our accounts like quick books. Where the bank sends a physical check. Need better budgeting with graphs pie charts and bar graphs showing each category red green yellow for how we are doing. Need proper classes like quick books.

Perfect App for my Small Business. I am very impressed with the functionality and in-depth features available in ZOHO Books. This app has the capacity to do everything I need to manage my small taxidermy business. I can access it on my table, pc or mobile phone without issue. The customer service is AMAZING. I’ve received an immediate response to every chat session question I’ve had and follow through is more that was expected. I would definitely recommend this app to any small business. I’m extremely happy with my decision to use ZOHO Books.

Decent software, horrible company-centric support. After reading reviews, I decided to transition from quickbooks to use Zoho Books for my small business. The features/price seemed favorable. After transitioning everything and sending out my first invoice, I lost the time tracking feature. Over a week’s time and multiple support requests handled by off-shore techs that are nearly powerless, the only solution is to upgrade to a more expensive plan even though I provided proof from the Zoho site that this feature was listed on my plan. The reality is that this company is outsourcing support and putting themselves ahead of the customer. Having lost an entire will without resolution, I’m now going to be forced to upgrade or lose the time invested and leave. Very disappointing and reflective of poor leadership.

Pretty useful. So far no complaints. To an extent the app is easier to use than the web version. It includes most key features one would expect on the mobile version and then some. I like using it for my purposes.

Thrilled. Starting my own little side hustle and just need something better than a spreadsheet but not going to break me when I’m just getting started. Perfection. Thank you!!

App works good Widgets don’t. The app is fine the time tracking and all works well But on my iPhone se the time tracker wiget fails all the time where it won’t reset or it randomly goes to some odd time like 1day 10hrs and 15 min. And I go to the app and pull it the time is right just the wiget is jacked up. So I have stopped using the wiget since it is a useless piece of garbage and use the time tracker in the app.

Too little integration. Too much work creating so many pieces of information in different apps, which don’t talk to related apps. No easy way to assign an expense to a customer/job. Trips vs Projects, and Books can’t see any of it. They need ONE place to input/link everything.

Best ever from longtime entrepreneur. I’ve started and ran over 10 companies in my life including a fairly large software consulting firm emphasis on accounting and inventory control. Zoho is the most exciting group of products I have ever seen. I’m convinced that they eliminate the need for over 30% of our personnel. The software blows away Sage and QuickBooks and many others. It’s not even close. I have never been this excited about software. Serious!

Great, just missing 1 feature from desktop. Loving the app. Only feature I cannot find in the app is bank transfer. Maybe I’m missing it but other than that, app is exactly the same as desktop which is fantastic!

Great Quickbooks Alternative. Zoho does an outstanding job of bringing everything that a small business could need to the table. The only feature that I would like to see is the ability to process credit cards within the app. Everything else is fantastic.

Love the app , but I need 1 thing. Great app , so far nearly perfect. Would really like to see a sort function on the items list when creating invoices. A sort by “ most popular “ would really speed up my productivity when creating invoices.

Zoho Books. Extremely informative and easy to use software. The best part of Zoho Books is the customer support which they provided so far which helped us to quickly migrate from the other accounting software with ease.

Everything you need. This is an awesome app and service. The 4 stars are just for the fact that on the app you are not able to add a transaction without having to add a customer or having to make an invoice. Other than that this is an awesome app.

Love it.. Superior mobile app. Blows quickbooks out of the water. I have no idea why people would use quick books over Zoho Books.

Wayyyyyy better than QuickBooks Online. I’m so glad I switched from QuickBooks Online to Zoho Books. Half the price and so may more options. I appreciate the chat support. And in 15 minutes I was able to import all of my QB invoices into Zoho. Only thing missing is the ability to have customers sign invoices on my iPhone when I’m st a Customer’s home. AND I’m able to scan receipts directly into Zoho. AND twice a month I backup all my attachments to my cloud. It’s great.

Awesome app. I absolutely love this app I have it on my phone and iPad. I had QuickBooks for one day and I got rid of it and got this it’s so much easier to use. The invoices you have more control over the design, which is nice. Love love love this app and Zoho books.

Easy to use AND usable!. This app is hands down better than the QBO app. I can actually see information, run reports and view any and all details regarding my books!

Nice in a hurry but lacking all modules. Many times I don’t have my computer right in front of me and I like to look things up on the books however, there are certain modules that seem to be missing in the app in particular the packages

Please add more reports to the app!. Reports are very limited for the mobile app and it’s very inconvenient that some reports are only available in the full web version. I’m very mobile and need reports like invoice details. Please add invoice details and other reports to the mobile app please!

Good but pricing seems off. So I like this app. It has lots of features in the free and standard plan. But the one thing that gets me is that I have to buy professional plan in order to use payable or bills. I can’t even enter payable manually. I’m a small business with like 3 bills a month at most. It seems unreasonable to justify to upgrade to two plans higher so I can enter payable. Why not have 10 or less bills for standard plan? That is how they get you. Be aware.

Best app for my business!. I’ve went through SEVERAL apps and software to help me get more organized. My funds were everywhere and I couldn’t keep track of anything. Before Zoho, I was using QuickBooks, but they unexpectedly deleted my account, however, they kept charging me.I was so frustrated that I didn’t even bother to trying to call customer service. I found Zoho and I’ve been hooked every since. It has everything I need and it’s pretty simple to use once you navigate the app for a few days.

Apps are so different from web version they’re useless. I have been waiting a long time for the apps for zoho to be useable but so far I have found that I can only do about 20% of what I can do online in the apps. Examples...I can’t send invoices because I have 2 payment gateways and there is no option to select one or the other in the app before sending the invoice. Also I am unable to easily confirm that a client is setup to be able to make an ach payment...these are simple actions on the web version. I recommend zoho create common functionality between their apps and web versions...they are currently like 2 different languages. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the web version of zoho but the apps are useless for me...and I wish they weren’t as it would add great value to the service for me.

The ultimate collection of apps all in one. I literally run my business using Zoho one. There can always be improvements but Zoho is always adding features. Would recommend this app highly.

Needs a Watch complication!. This could be five stars with just a couple of improvements. First, there is no Apple Watch complication! Since a timer is part of the app, having that complication is crucial. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve forgotten to stop my timer because I have no indication that it’s running when I look at my watch. Second, the screen shot on the App Store shows that the app says “Hi [name],” at the top, but mine never shows my name, just a space where my name should be—so it’s “Hi ,” with a space before the comma, which drives me nuts (I’m an editor). I’d rather it just said nothing at the top than making me look at an error every time I open it. It would also be nice to see the option to clock in/out at a different time than the current time, as seen in apps like HoursTracker, for those time when you realize you forgot to clock in/out.

Super clean and simple. Excellent business books app by Zoho. I am a frequent user of their CRM app and just recently started using Books. This app enables me to send my automated recurring invoices quickly and easily while recording the payments.

Great software. I am amazed by Zoho, i used to use Quickbooks, but it didn’t have all the features i needed, but with Zoho every-time i think of something and wonder if their software would have the feature i need i get surprised because they do. Really good Love it

New to Zoho. I have yet to use the software as I ran into a issue between downloading multiple Zoho apps. I reached out to the customer service team and actually got a response! They called me same day and advised of how to resolve the problem! This was part of the email I sent back to the team after the call! I am impressed by your customer service thus far and was very surprised by having a rep reach out to me directly to address my issues. This is a high level of customer retention service and I look forward to exclusively using Zoho for my small business needs, thank you!!!

Ez app for Small businesses. street forward accounting software. Makes accounting not so complicated. Simple to set up working and sending invoices in a matter of hour or less. Over all Zoho books would keg an A+ from me.

Hard to believe.... ...how simple and easy this is to use. The reports are wonderful. I now have a better picture of what is going on with my company. Just try it.

Poor language & currency support. I am American living abroad running a business in the US. When I downloaded the app it didn’t respect my device language and set up my account based on my IP address: language of where I am—not my device. It took me FOREVER to figure out how to change the language. When I finally figured that out, then I had a currency problem. When I tried to fix that it threw and error. This is to say—if you’re an “edge case” for them, the language and currency settings are buggy and frustrating.

Way better than quickbooks online. Was with qb for 10 years and switched and am happy I did. Faster, more user friendly, better smart app, awesome optional apps

The experience from The Handy Gentleman. Zoho has been a game-changer for my handyman service! Their invoicing features are top-notch, making it a breeze to create and send professional invoices to my clients. It's user-friendly, efficient, and helps me stay organized with my billing. I highly recommend Zoho for any handyman or small business owner looking for a reliable invoicing solution.

Small problem. Like the app and the service but have a frustrating problem. I use the app to upload docs and receipts but invariably the images are also saved on my phone photos. I don't want all those receipts saved to the phone I just want them uploaded.

Great Book Keeping App. Easy to use app for all your business needs. Definitely recommend app to those with businesses.

Excellent and Full-Featured Accounting Program. Zoho Books is capable of handling my complete accounting needs for my consulting practice. Previously on my Mac I used desk-top versions of AccountEdge Professional Accounting and QuickBooks. I decided to move to a cloud-based accounting program to be available on my iPad when traveling. After trying many cloud-based accounting programs I chose Zoho Books. Other cloud-based accounting programs either could not handle retainers properly and/or could not generate customer statements. Love the app but needs Sales Receipt. The online portal has the sales receipt option however that option is not on the app and it is crucial for walk in cash purchases next to that interface is great just need the sales receipt function brought over

Been using for 6 years!. I have been using Zoho for over 6 years and I have to say it’s pretty simple and user friendly. The only downside is that I would love to implement automatic interest charges on overdue invoices but for YEARS they have not resolved this. Hope to see this happen ASAP.

Huge Fan. Been a customer of Zoho Books for over 4 years now and I’m always impressed by the fact of how perfect this platform is for my business. Highly recommend to any freelancers trying to stay on top of their finances and making sure they’re getting paid on time.

Lacks some abilities compared to the desktop version. On the desktop version, you’re able to charge a client’s invoice to a card they have on file. Within this mobile app, the only way to apply payment on an invoice is if you can manually enter in the CC details. It does not matter if the customer has a card on file or not.

Excellent app and ecosystem!. My quest to ditch QB is now complete! I became tired of the clunky interface and the constantly rising price of QB for my needs. Competition is beneficial. With Zoho Books I am not looking back! My workflow is now more highly integrated with a much better user interface. I have a better handle on what is going on with my business with a drastically improved system for my clients to pay and manage their accounts… All at a fair price.

Game CHANGER. I honestly been selling things online through mercari posh and grailed. But i decided to be more serious and started my LLC providing bunch of services. All i needed is to keep on track my purchase and sales and the most important be GOVERNMENT CLEAR! Zoho, Thanks!

Not perfect but improving. A very affordable app for the small business person, much more so than some of the larger names out there. The app (as well as the website) have a number of things that need improvement, however the team is constantly coming out with updates and I see it moving in a very positive direction.

Absolutely love Zoho. Zoho is next level awesome. The UX/UI is great and is actually quite fun and it has everything that I need to keep my company going. Still, there is room for improvements like automating invoicing for timesheets and increasing the number of states for payroll integration. Customer service appears to be improving as well. Going to check out one of the annual conferences. So glad that I don't have to pay QuickBooks anymore!

Wonderful App. This is by far one of the best apps ever. Very robust and maintains equivalent functionality with the full web service. I’m extremely delighted with both the mobile app and the the full service web version. Very satisfied customer!

User friendly and free. Great tools for bookkeeping. It is user friendly and free. Great for small business that just got started with little capital on hand. Generate reports, record expenses/mileage, capture receipts, etc.

Excellent app for small Businesses/Companies. I started using the Zoho Invoice app early this year and it has really help me as an accounting Cloud software. It come with very intuitive features and easy to use which can boost your productivity and helped me have a detailed clue of my income , expenses and I could forecast my future .

I like it I don’t love it. The app is great it lets me do the work that the desktop requires from my phone. The only thing not lining up are the notifications. It’s not easy to find. The icon will show notifications but within the app it’s not easy to find what’s prompting them.

Requires Online Banking Password - Oh Hell No!. Everything was looking great until I tried to link my bank account to this software. Xero, QB, MYOB, all use Yodlee to link bank accounts. Zoho is the only interface where I need to go to a website that isn’t my bank’s website, and then give them my online banking ID and Password. OH HELL NO!!! Zoho’s terms and conditions even state that we do so at our own risk. I called my bank and they told me not to do this. They said giving a third party my online banking credentials will invalidate my protections/security for fraudulent payments. I tried contacting Yodlee to ask why their process with Zoho was different to their process for the other account keeping software, but the person I spoke to didn’t know anything about Zoho and couldn’t help me. I have tried to manually import my transactions each month, but it’s just impractical as customer payments won’t be logged instantly like they would if I had true reconciliation. So payments don’t get marked as received until after I’ve manually reconciled everything. The time I spend doing this is worth more to me than the cost of going with another vendor. Such a shame. I love the features offered by Zoho, but banking security trumps them all.

Limited Functions and Buggy. I don't understand why companies still make apps that offer a stupidly limited set of functions when compared to the browser version. I keep getting nagged to use the app but it does not have all the functions of the website, specifically in my case I use the custom report tags the browser offers but these are not supported in the app. Also check the release notes and you'll see they are still fixing things that should never have boon problems in the first place. In short, this is another poor app trying to replace a website and failing.

Great app, great design.. but... Does not look like I can view my existing or create new recurring invoices. Please add this functionality in. Thanks

Great to be able to have all the info I need on the go. Whether it’s inventory info I need, client information, sales history or a p&l, I can get it all. Love this app!

One thing wrong. Great app but missing one thing. You can't select a customers shipping address or change an address in the app.

Wow. I am a sole trader with a turnover of around 2 million per annum. I discovered I was really good at sales but woeful at admin and finance. I have been using the Zoho app for 3 weeks and it has brought peace of mind to my daily hectic work schedule. Integrated with Zoho CRM, very device friendly, I can recommend it and say it is definitely worth the investment of a subscription. Well done Zoho.

Amazing. Best value small business software I’ve come across

Thieves. I cancelled my subscription a year ago as a sole trader. They just renewed the subscription costing $365 taking the last of my money needed to purchase medication I require to stay alive. They don’t care, they say it’s not there mistake or issue and have practically stated my health is of no concern and thats tough luck. I have submitted a compliant to the relevant legal authorities here in NSW Australia and have filed for I direct intervention with the ombudsman. This software was a massive flop for my companies needs and they are of the opinion that their software is flawless and above petty underlings such as my self. Bunch of criminals

An excellent application at a fantastic price. My company’s prior bookkeeper used QuickBooks desktop in such a way that changing to QuickBooks Online was going to be difficult. This gave me an opportunity to shop around for another bookkeeping resource. I’m glad I took the opportunity, otherwise I never would have found Zoho Books. It does everything I want it to (and so much more - there are all sorts of features that save me time and effort) at a price point far cheaper than QB. I’m happy to have made the switch.

Excellent accounting app. I can get a great snapshot of my company's financial health right on my phone. Invoices and estimates are only a click away and I can even use a timer to log time for projects.

Great tool - app missing some features. I love Zoho books and use the web-based tool every day. The app is good but could use a couple of enhancements to make time tracking on-the-go easier. Add timesheet to the bottom task bar and the timesheet detail report so I can check billable hours easily in client meetings. Alternatively, the web tool could be more mobile friendly so I could pull the right reports from Safari.

Hassle free. I am a self employed consultant and I charge my customers by the hour. Zoho Books allows me to time my work and those recorded hours are logged under each project, by task, for each customer. This makes my invoicing very fast and easy. I invoice monthly and I don’t think I spend more than 2 hours preparing & sending the invoices, which is great! The invoicing templates are fairly easy to set up, but I can’t say the lay out is exactly as I wanted it. But it’s good enough and looks professional. It’s also very fast to log in my expenses and purchase, as there are some option to set them as monthly, bi-monthly etc. I particularly like to home screen which allows me to see my results & profits in a simple and helpful way. I can also track my monthly hours in just 2 clicks. The app took me some getting used to, I had some trouble using the tax report for instance, but apart from that it has made the admin part of work much easier & lighter. I would recommend for self employed consultants.

Extremely professional and simple. Very satisfied with this app,especially the fact that I can reread what I've entered as opposed to trying to read my unworthy handwriting. My clients are impressed.

Expense tracker suggestion. The Zoho expense application has a smart receipt reader that automatically fills the forms and it would be very helpful to have that smart receipt reader in Zoho books.

Terrible customer service. Zoho is great at getting customers but afterwards they fail miserably. Support is responsive but not very helpful as they make you do everything. I feel that they simply don’t understand the question being asked of them. Trying to cancel your service- good luck. I’ve been trying to cancel Zoho one for a week now and they simply don’t help, even when the error seems to be on their part. It’s a shame because their CRM plus is fantastic.

Does not work. Waste of time.. After repeated emails to the support desk I’m left without answers and with an Books app that does not work. It’s coming up on 4 weeks and my bank feeds have not refreshed. Customer support has no clue how to fix it. One rep actually told me to “just sit and be patient with them while they look into it”. That was 2.5 weeks ago. This would otherwise cripple business if one had no contingency. Save yourself the aggravation - Go with another system unless you like unpredictable utility and bugs around your finances.

Great App for Small Business. A couple of small things here and there could be improved, but really pretty easy to use and helpful for a 1st time business owner.

Bank. Cant use as good on the bank option. To record a credit card payment , good app but QuickBooks is more clean and intuitive

Lack to save credit card info. For any reason in this app here lack to save the credit card info to futures charges to clients.

Overall good app. Overall a good app. Has had bugs over the years but most have been worked out. Does what we need on the go.

Zoho books. Love this app, I use it to generate invoices and I love that you can use it to issue receipts as well.

On vacation. I’ve been able to easily crate quotes for my customers while on vacation. I love this app and am so glad that I found it. This makes my job easier.

Constant problems with bank feeds. Since January 2022, bank feeds have been messed up. Very long wait time for response and unable to fix. Blames third party for problems. Insult to injury they took their annual subscription the day of first bank feed errors.

Notifications problem. App icon shows at l least 2 unseen notifications since last update. I can clear all but 2 after opening notifications.

Great alternative to QuickBooks. One of the better looking very similar to QuickBooks I wish was better is when you put a contact in Zoho CRM it should automatically populate in Zoho books

Needs to improve. Is not practical, we need the option to click the pie chart and get a list of the items included on the piece, same with the bars, is not necessary having that picture if doesn’t provide any information

It’s all about integration. Are use the entire Soho one suite of apps. Books integrates with CRM projects and gives me a unified view of my business. I love it.

Great, but One big feature missing so far. This app is what I was looking For. A simple but flexible way to manage my small business. I was able to update my chart of accounts to exactly what my accountant asked for - big win!! BUT - I can’t manually update transactions with the categories and accounts in the app - I need to go to the web app. Highly inconvenient. Hopefully this will get added soon!!

Love Zoho Books app. Great companion to Zoho Books website. But would love for my Transaction Rules to be available and to be able to add entries from the Banking screens.

Good robust app. I have really enjoyed this app. A few shortcomings make it fall short of perfection. It they include warehouse and inventory and catalogs it would be one stop app I have dreamed off

Look no further. Been delighted using Zoho Books. Packed with features with a very user friendly interface and design.

Make sure you read what's really included. You can't even use the integrated inventory system without spending atleast $70 on top of the zoho books app fees. Its one thing if they told you that you'll be paying for 2 subscriptions just to use 1 app.

User experience is abysmal. I want to scan a doc and can never find the logical path. Receipt? Not to scan and then let the software translate it. Documents? No way to just add new. I like this service but which they would embrace less is more and really nail down one process before adding in 40 more that never seem to be able to relate to one another.

Notification UX. No way to distinguish new information from info already viewed. Can’t clear notifications.

Very nice for expenses. I can quickly recited mileage and meal expenses with a quick photo of receipt. Makes accounting at month end go super smooth.

Almost perfect. Great interface, awesome design. But you can only view the bank feeds, not categorize them through the app which is one of the main reasons I downloaded the app. Other than that, the app is amazing!
