Completely unusable. Not able to download the current issue after countless attempts. Reinstalled app many times to no avail. Customer support at Sail of absolutely no help. Complete waste of time and utter disappointment.

App doesn't work/no customer service. I should have paid attention to the other reviews posted. I cannot access any new issues posted, and have repeatedly sent e-mails to customer service to resolve the problem- which they have repeatedly ignored. Don't waste your money.

Do not buy ! Not compatible with ios8. Please update this app to work with ios8. Ever since I upgraded my os, I can no longer read Sail Magazine. I've tried all of the suggested troubleshooting steps. Update: I've tried to contact the publisher of this magazine for a refund, but have not received a response.

This app des not work. Could not get new issues after September and after move to new app. iTunes points to Sail. Sail says issue is due to not getting access to subscriber data from iTunes. Got iTunes to refund old platform subscription and resubscribed from new app still no access. Took every step recommended by Sail "Customer service". Still no access now dead silence from "customer service". Guess it is time to go back to iTunes to try for refund round 2.

Waste of $. Completely unacceptable and a complete waste. No excuses.

Terrible app. I paid for a year in August and got only the September issue. Now the app says I have to pay to get October. There is no way contact Sail to remedy. Don't waste your money here.

Don’t buy!. Not formatted for an iPad... very poor experience. Cancelled auto renew as soon as I got it, but out 12.71...

Won't download!. Gotta find a way to get my money back.

Terrible. This app just doesn't work. I've been in constant contact with SAIL's customer support and still can't see the magazine--after they took my money.

Requires you to buy electronic subscription. I will delete this app because we have to pay for the electronic version in addition to my print version. Yeah, no.

Lousy app. April 2014 issue is out, but when I try to download it, it says I need to upgrade the app...but there is no upgrade. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but same error message. Too bad I paid for a year subscription....

Can not download content, no fix available. Since upgrading to ios 8, all my content was removed and I get an error trying to download any issues to restart the app and try again. Support from SAIL mag useless and says to contact iTunes. The app is an epic fail at this point.

Crashes every time. I have downloaded a number of times but every time it crashes. Unacceptable!

What in the world. I can't believe that their is no way for print subscribers to access the online edition without paying for a digital subscription. That's a terrible way to treat your customers.

Download quit working. App quit working even when buying another subscription. No support to fix issue.

It’s the worst. Issues only viewable upon initial download. Return to an issue and it’s just a white screen. Keep expecting updates to resolve the issue, but no.

Crooks. The app does not work!. Don't buy the app. You will not be able to read any magazines. I am also a print subscriber and this is very disappointing.

Crash and Burn. Why do I keep trying with this magazine? The app crashes and closes out. I have to restart it and open from the front page. Completely frustrating.

Horrible!. I was excited to get my Sail issues on my new iPad. Sadly, I can only see the first issue of my year subscription. The second issue has yet to load.

Update pending, hence no new magazines. Spoke with Tech Support today - my magazines stopped uploading 2 months ago. They tell me the app is being updated, as well as magazine uploads, so it'll be a while. Funny, you think they'd want to save the trees and environment and all....

Can not download current issues.. I can download old issues but not current. Very unhappy, customer service says need to try three times a day, I have tried three times a day for a week, still nothing.

Unacceptable. You guys need to invest a little more in getting this app to work. What good is content if it crashes when you try to access it. Deleting and reinstalling the app is an all too often occurrence and this time not working. I won't resubscribe...I've been patient enough working through this the past 1.5 years and never wrote a bad review. I'm paying for this and expect to get this content. Get it right!!

Four months in and it still does not work. Here it is January 15th and the Sail Mag app still does not let you access your previously-purchased issues or let you freely download the issues from your current paid subscription. Just sail away from this magazine.

Worthless on an iPad Pro. Upgraded to an iPad Pro. Now I can’t restore or sign in using my iTunes account.

Getting a little better, but still a long way to go.. They Finally got the November and December 2013 issues up, with December only 1 month past the newsstand release, but much better then the 2 month delay of the November and October issues. There is still the issue of past subscribers losing the previous "paid" purchases of issues earlier then August 2013 when they switched their app company. Hopefully this gets resolved...

Unable to download wasted money. I lost all of my purchased subscription, cannot download, wasted money and I will stop my subscription. And the nerve for them to send me a renewal notice for another year *^%<~|_

Crooks. these people flat out lie - I was told three months ago that the app would be fixed "very soon". Now I have paid for three more issues I can't read. Why doesn't Apple police this?

A hole into which you throw money. This app is the perfect metaphor for a boat: a hole in the water into which you throw money. Go ahead, get the app. Pay the annual fee, update to the new version, pay the fee again, and like the proverbial boat, your money is now gone. The difference is this: you can enjoy a boat, but this app fails to provide any issues of the magazine. I've got several magazine subscriptions on my new iPad, and they're all great, except this one. Save your money. Subscribe to any other magazine but this one.

Doesn’t work. I’ve been an iPad subscriber for many years and all of sudden cannot access new issues, just old. Restoring doesn’t work, deleting the app and reinstalling just lost me access to old issues.

Worst App Experience Ever. A complete waste of your money. The state of this application is completely inexcusable !! I just subscribed and found that I cannot successfully download, read or view _any_ issue of the magazine. Wasted an hour deleting the application, reinstalling, and attempting to find some way to make it work. The application ALWAYS crashes on the first attempt to download or view an issue, then can never download any issue. I design and write iOS applications for a living, the developers of this application should all be fired, there is NO excuse for the quality of this application !

Take this out of the store NOW. I bought an annual subscription and Sail updated the app for the March edition and now I can't get my paid for magazine because I don't run ios6. This is a terrible decision. Refunds for the entire year should be sent to everyone with a subscription. There is no zero star rating or I would have given it one.

This app does not work with ios8. Barely worked with ios7. I do love the content in the magazine though..

No Zoom!. What is the deal with the development of this app? 1st we get buggy apps that don't work and this goes on for a year, we finally get a working app now the app no longer allows you to zoom and the text is horrible. I am guessing I must be one of a very few digital buyers at this point as everyone else has given up. Love Sail mag hate this crappy app!

First new issues were slow to be available. Now on my back issues are gone.. I downloaded this app and subscribe to the magazine over a year ago. For much of this time I enjoyed reading the magazine on my iPad. As of late, however, I noticed that the new magazines were coming online later and later. Then, today, there was a message indicating that I needed to download the app again. I did this, and I did get the September issue of the magazine, but all of my past issues were deleted. It shows me as not having been subscribed. I have not reached out to the company yet, as these things take time and tend to be somewhat tangled. But I will do so. I hope they can solve the problem quickly.

Currently can’t use. Have been subscribed for a few years now but suddenly can’t read issues. Restoring purchases doesn’t work.

UPDATED APP NOW WORKS!!!!!!. UPDATE: Latest update now works on IPAD!!!!! Sail Magazine is no longer able to download my subscriptions on the IPAD. Now I see another with the same issue. Past reviews reveal that this app is unstable. Will not renew and will warn others. UPDATE: THE MAGAZINE IS STABLE UNDER NOOK APP ON IPAD. Buy from Barnes and Nobles. NOT iTunes . This app has been a rip off for a long time. In all fairness most likely from iOS 8.0.2. But still Active Interest Media are the thieves. Not Sail magazine. Staff sympathetic but the developers are lazy for allowing this to go on as long as this has been and truly do not see a happy outcome. Run like your hair is on fire from iTunes magazine subscriptions

Do not buy Sail through this app. It is the worst experience of a magazine I've seen. It won't let me download my purchases. I wish I had seen the other reviews before buying.

Fails to download. The magazine starts to download but then fails, I've uninstalled and installed same problem. Then gets an error going into it.

Lousy App...no current issues. It's December and the November issue isn't available yet. It took 2 weeks after I subscribed to be able to download an issue. What a joke. The magazine is readable but all the old issues make you feel like this app is for the dentist office waiting room. If you like reading old issues this is the app for you. If you are interested in reading the current issue you may want to PASS.

Sail Mag. I don't understand how SAIL Magazine can let is go so long. I called them three months ago and they said they were working on it. Don't they care that digital subscribers are paying them and not able to use their product. How can they be so incompetent to let this lag for so long, completely ignoring their readers and subscribers?

Disatisfied. Since downloading the new app I cannot access my past downloads nor can I download the new magazine without starting a new subscription. ITUNES says it is a magazine problem and the magazine says it cannot do anything since I purchased the subscription through ITUNEs. The email address for the developer doesn't accept mail and a phone call to the developer said its not their problem. I've now cancelled my automatic renewal and will not renew my print subscription when it expires.

Not happy. Stopped working with the release of IOS8 and still does 't work. Now asks to download newer version of the app - which doesn't exist. Emails for months to circulation go ignored.

Have not got a clue!. I pay the subscription, download the app and then silence. After two emails, I am told that my subscription starts in three months time. What a bunch of pillocks..

Great magazine poor app. Keeps quitting in unpredictable ways. Occasionally some issues don’t load properly. Can’t be shared with family sharing.

Pretty basic magazine app - does not work with IOS 8. Was working up till I upgraded to IOS 8 and now it just crashes whenever I try to open a magazine. Reinstalling app did not work either. Now it just tells me to restart the app.
