Ready, Set, Fail. I started using EToro recently and found the platform to be clean and easy to use. That is where the fun ends. It’s a free platform because they charge spread percentage in buys and sells. Today, Feb 23rd, their was a huge drop in Crypto. It dropped so much people might sell or buy the massive dips. Conveniently, EToro went offline the whole day. This seems to be a common occurrence and complaint among EToro users. So two things are happening here, they are technically incompetent or they are gaming the system to their benefit. The timing is beyond coincidence. I am a small fish and lost money and opportunities today. Serious people lost a whole lot more. When up and running again I will be closing my account out.

Very Slow and Unreliable. This is the slowest app I have ever seen, it is like AOL dial up. Had issues verifying my account and had to do it multiple times because this app kept not recognizing my home address and not allowing me to move forward. I have tried to link my bank account seven times and it just keeps getting stuck on white screen with back arrow. It is offering me to chat with someone but then it says chat is not available. This app has so many issues and hiccups and I’m not sure that it would be wise to use it to invest my money. I can see it getting stuck when is imperative to buy or sell at given moment and causing me headaches and money. I like their website but this is not working and apparently not ready. Moving on.

Good for Crypto trading, customer support not so much. I have withdraw some of the profits from eToro,Now if you are into crypto this is something to look over our four first time traders now the platform on its own while the user interface is very friendly I just don’t like how customer service takes a very long time to reach you just for a question to be answered. That’s one of things I like to see eToro improve, secondly I also want to trade into other commodities other than just cryptocurrency‘s however due to regulatory restrictions I’m not able to do that at all and I’d love to find out if I’m able to trade other stocks such as Tesla Apple, Oil, Gold or other ETFs.

Intuitive platform, training wheels for newbies. The app is easy to use, has a lot of information, and features that would not be available for someone just getting a wallet and buying bitcoin. I have learned a lot. The virtual portfolio is an awesome idea; it allowed me to gain some confidence both in my judgement and functionality of the app before depositing my own money. It’s not for everyone, and certainly not necessary for experienced traders, but for someone who is both curious and studious, it is an excellent app.

Awful. Horrible company with horrible product. Both the website and app are extremely buggy and hard to understand for the average Joe. Everything is okay when they want your money (i.e. depositing funds) however it is an utter disaster when trying to withdrawal. They hold your money for 7 business days before you can transfer your assets to another wallet. Not only that, but you must first transfer it to their “E toro” wallet and then make an additional transfer to your actual personal wallet. These cumbersome steps and restrictions make this platform a nightmare to use. And if you decide you don’t like it, well then you’re sh** out of luck. Do yourself a favor and never even create an account with this awful company.

Force closes constantly. App constantly force closes. It happens every time I open the app and click anything, it happens back to back, it’s very annoying. I didn’t know how to find the sell button but luckily I was able to ask the community and many people had asked the same thing. Why is it so easy to see the buy button but not the sell button? The platform is not that user friendly. They collect the spreads on the buy which means as soon as you buy, you’re already negative. Funds deposited a week ago that have already left my bank account is still not available for withdrawal. I’m done.

The Best app for testing your patiency. If your looking for the best app at nothing this is it. It has the the worst customer care service ever, by far the worst i have ever seen and if you dont trust me get the app. They have canning ways of having you deposit money without even verifying your identity and when you want to withdrawal they put you through a very lengthy process of withdrawing your own funds. And they wont let you off that easy at all they wil make sure the money doesnt get to you on time through their various and shady policies. If your looking for something to to bother you because your tired of an easy life, trust me this app and their services is the number 1 app for it. I have some cash left with them cause i cant withdrawal because its less than the withdrawal fees and i cant trade with it, now just think of that.

Closing my account because I moved of country. I’ve been a client of this platform for many years, I opened my account in Venezuela and then I moved to the US. They told me US is a blocked country so they have to close my operations that I had open since 2017. So you think it’s fair? When I put a big part of MY SAVINGS!!!!! It’s frustrating that they told me that I signed a contract that says that if I move they will close my operations. And what a coincidence that it has to be when the market is at its LOWEST point. Never again people, review your contract they don’t care about your money just their commissions. I waited for so many years to the market go up and now they going to close my operations lol cannot believe it :(

User friendly and fun to use but has serious limitations. The platform is user friendly, and the trader community is knowledgeable and friendly. There is no way to transfer crypto to a crypto wallet so you lose your crypto in currency if you want to get it off the exchange and into a more secure wallet, and fees to withdraw funds are excessive. Ripple is not available for trading, and trading lag times during trades can cost you money. There are erroneous fair market proves for trades sometimes. For example, one crypto was listed at + double digit returns when in reality it was -14% or thereabouts. Had other traders not posted this discrepancy on the forum, people could have list a lot of money. The alt crypto offerings are quite limited as well. I’ve never needed to contact customer support so far, so I cannot comment on its quality. Overall, because of the transfer and withdrawal limitations, the app lag times during trades, lack of control over your own investment, and the high withdrawal fees, I would not put large investments into eToro. You do not really own the crypto you buy here, the eToro exchange does and you have to make an application for withdrawal to access your own money. The utility is in the trader community, ease of use, and beginner’s practice.

Terrible customer service. Been hassling with them for a month now trying to get an account started. Account was blocked at the verify email part at the start up and have been emailing back and forth with customer service with them saying they are going to call me then never do. Then they give me a new date and time and again don’t call or say they called but I didn’t answer, even tho I was sitting at my desk phone in hand waiting for a call that never came. Would give a 0 star if I could and would highly recommend you steer clear of eToro until they get better customer service.

Bad customer service, possible theft. Do a web search of people trying to withdraw funds that they deposited to EToro and how much trouble they had trying to get it from EToro. I didn’t do this research, opened an account and deposited money. Then, I decided to go with a different platform, transferred out my funds, and closed my account. Big mistake. Lo and behold, no money appeared in my bank. I submitted a ticket, and only then was I told that my transfer was “rejected” by my bank, and a *partial*, lower amount of it was returned to my account with no further explanation. The rep then promptly closed the ticket despite no resolution. EToro’s App and Web-based site tells me that because I closed the account, I can’t access or reopen it, which means I can’t access the “returned” funds to retranser them. And, they have no Customer Service number. In order to use their Customer Service Online Chat function, you have to sign in, and EToro prevents me from signing in to chat because my account is closed, and gives no other options to Chat with a rep. Given my difficulties in getting my money back and numerous similar stories online from other users, AVOID this platform. If transfer/withdraw issues are rife and so often not resolved by their CS team, how do we get our deposited funds back from this company?

Lots of Great Functions. I’ve tried other platforms, and eToro offers options many others don’t. The “copy” function is a great way to both learn about crypto and to invest in a way that is a bit less risky (but remember there is still significant risk!). The ability to build a virtual portfolio is also a nice way to learn and figure out where to put your money before committing to a trade. There are fees, so think about that before trading too often or making frequent withdrawals. As usual with crypto, your best bet is to be careful where you invest, and don’t react to either fear or greed as things go up and down. If you copy successful traders and stay patient, you can make money over the long term (but again, remember there are risks!!).

Lied to get more members. I contacted customer service asking if a certain crypto was available to trade before creating my account. They said yes. I create my account and low and behold it’s not available. Untrustworthy company take your money elsewhere. Edit one in response to The “developers response”: I personally sent an email to customer service asking if the crypto I wanted was available to trade and they said yes and it wasn’t. I have already contacted customer service and they said it was because of a “lawsuit”. Some excuse Uphold is allowed to actively trade it. No I’ve also asked for my account to be closed and my money returned. Edit 2: it’s already been done and this review will stay.

Good so far.... I have only had the app for a few days and it is good and easy to use. It could use some adjustments like better security. There should be an option to always ask for Face ID or passcode when opening app. You also have to understand that there are two prices for crypto, a selling price and a buying price. So the price you see isn’t always what you are going to pay for or receive. It’s like that with most cryptos but if you are new it can be a little confusing. No fees unless you place an order vs open market buying and selling. Overall happy so far...

Buying price is high. When it comes to trading, this is only good for long term investments. You will be buying at a higher price than the market value. This is based on comparison of trading view real time market value. You’ll buy crypto only to discover that it will be higher than what is currently on sale so you’ll lose a small amount every time you purchase. You’ll only gain back what you lost if you let it grow for a while. So this for long term investments. I also didn’t like how the copy traders feature required some upfront initial cost to invest.

Poor crypto handling and bad rates. I have been bouncing around platforms since the start of the recent bull run; being new to crypto and trying to find a site i am going to settle with. I got on etoro for the aspect of “copy trading” which is a good concept and well executed; so good for a low security/ long term. But i quickly realized the sight wasnt for me when the buying rate of a stock is consistently 5-8% above the shown price ON ETORO. The process of withdrawaling funds is painful, with a week of inactivity on the funds needed to move to a bank. And with 20 steps to transfer funds out. It’s obvious that the sight makes it excruciatingly difficult to transfer something out. First you get a poorly designed app, make a specified wallet for the crypto, jerry rig yourself to be back in etoro through the wallet hosting app. And now im at a point; multiple hours in, where i still cannot find away to transfer crypto out. Its a terrible platform if you are getting started, with high rates and wacky accessibility. Though, No potential issues with longevity besides security concern, taking in to consideration that the platform is clearly not standing on good ground cryptography wise

Data mining. I do believe etoro is a good exchange for I have been using it for a month now. There are some sketchy things I’d like to address about the app though. I believe they are stealing information from your other exchanges that you use. Sometimes when I open the app eToro automatically copied and pasted things I’ve had on my clipboard whenever I open the app which I find really strange. Sometimes they’ll even copy things from uphold and ledger if I was on the apps before opening the eToro app. Just putting this out there in case something shady happens with etoro and users funds. I looked on the internet for similar situations and not a lot of people are talking about this just a few Reddit posts.

Bad app. I deposited $1000 on my account then I was waiting for verification for about two days. After that I tried to login. I enter my email and password then they say your account is blocked!!! I opened a case that my account is blocked without any reason, then they said you are US citizen but I’m not. I told them that I’m full time student with F1 visa and I’m not a resident. After two days waiting I open another case for returning my money back since my account is blocked. I got an email after a couple of days. Today is about day 20 and I didn’t get my money back. Customer service is very bad. Not helping at all.

Experience. So. I want to preface my review by stating that I’m not an investment expert or crypto expert by any means. I work in construction. So take my opinion lightly. Before you instal and choose EToro as your platform here are some drawbacks to note: They use spreads, I’m fairly certain every crypto trading app uses them or some kind of commission system. So be aware of the price you purchase at versus the actual price of the crypto. Another drawback for me was having my card declined. I just updated so this may have changed but the automated response from EToro was to “check with my bank” or something along those lines. I did. That wasn’t the problem. So I emailed EToro for some support in resolving the issue… nothing. I’m not telling you to not get EToro. Just shop around and look at some other apps. If you’re like me an average guy with maybe $1500 to invest tops, you’ll want to find the best bang for your buck. And know that you’re going to need more than a grand to make any respectable or life changing gains. That’s how this game works, it’s a long game for people with low income and a short game for big money playas Thanks for reading

Do not use this platform. While it looks like a consumer product on the front end, there are myriad hidden, non-consumer friendly conditions designed to keep your fiat and crypto currencies on their platform. There is a minimum unit transfer of .25. There is a minimum deposit of $500. And different purchase positions means no consolidation. If all you can afford is to buy a couple hundred at a time, there’s no way to transfer your coin even to your own eToro Wallet except to close your positions and transfer your $$$ to your bank. At which point, the app will say “We were unable to submit your request. Please contact our customer service for help” eToro borders on a scam. 1 star.

This business is sketchy. Opened an account with them about 4 months ago. First off, they take a 5% spread on the bid and ask for their crypto trades. This is outrageous. The trading platform is not intuitively designed. You “buy” to buy a cryptocurrency (that’s not the problem), but you also “buy” to sell a position (say what?). When you want to withdraw your money— good luck! They couldn’t make it any harder for you. Instructions are lousy. It will take 8 days to get my money back. I could understand that wait time if I was a new account. But my deposit was made many months ago. There is no reason this withdrawal should take longer than two business days. It’s obvious these guys are not about making the best system to create loyal clients. They are about the quickest way to make a buck. There are so many better options out there!

BORDERLINE SCAM - YOU WILL LOSE MONEY GUARANTEED. “Free Trades” are a lie… You will never “buy” anything at the Market Price, nor will your Limit Orders execute at the price you want due to Etoros huge spread. Also, Market orders are never the price you see trading bc they elevate in the price when buying… so immediately after purchasing youre at a 2-3% loss… Took me a while to figure out what was happening… if you buy something with 6 decimals, it’s hard to catch the difference in price but finally realized it after losing money immediately after buying… Btw, I only decided to write a review bc they updated the app and took away the one feature I actually liked about the app and that was the Analytics Graph where you could add a bunch of different indicators and they would be applied to all currencies and SAVED so each time they would open automatically… Well they suddenly took that feature away with an update, completely changed everything and now if i want those indicators I have to create them each time i look at a graph…. Nothing like stealing your money and taking away features to help you make money. So glad I don’t trade on this platform anymore. Absolute junk

Be careful. This app comes across easy to use and reliable until you cannot get any help from customer service. They are quick to email you during verification procedures but when you don’t have all the required information on your bank statements because the bank just doesn’t have their stipulated requirements on a statement it won’t be accepted and then when you upload a utility bill with all the correct requirements it’s still not accepted. You would think that after being contacted by customer support they would put a hold on the time frame before your account gets “liquidated” being under the impression that they are busy “verifying” your profile. Your profile gets liquidated while having trades open. I’ve emailed then numerous times to which I haven't had any response. Then trying to connect to a direct chat via the app never works because you can’t get connected to any representative. Too much automation not enough actual support.

Untrustworthy handling of funds. I recently switched funding accounts for my profile for personal tracking purposes and somewhere during the process, a transfer request was placed on the unlinked account that was not fulfilled. EToro took the request and had it fulfilled by creditor Telecheck who has since purchased the transfer as debt and are now hounding me for collection. During this entire process EToro has provided no communication that a payment error has occurred with the account and instead of managing it internally with me, as the customer, have not added additional charges which could have been resolved in a simple direct manner. This is bad service and I will no longer be doing business with a company that cannot communicate directly with its customer base.

Don’t use unless you like pain. This is genuinely an awful app. I seriously cannot recommend using any other wallet. You could only do worse than e Toro by literally, going to a thrift shop, buying a used wallet, and filling it with rocks. Arguably depending on the rocks, you’d still have an easier time making money than using eToro. Minimum deposit amounts change, an interface designed by cracked out three year olds with no communication amongst themselves as to how everything was supposed to work together. Minimum pull amounts that are outrageous. If you’re a pro, willing to only use this god awful interface, maybe it’ll work for you. Otherwise, cash app literally has a more intuitive investing interface. Cash app. Y’all should be ashamed.

Caution. Be careful when using this app. You will receive already prepared answers to any questions you may have. You will not be able to speak with someone about your problems. I used eToro to purchase crypto, but I cannot withdraw my money now that I want to liquidate. If you want to withdraw your money, you will get an answer such as click on the withdrawal tab and see what your available balance is and click for withdrawal, but I never received the answer to my question which is why is my available balance $0 when my equity is $1800? Why can’t I take this $1800 out? Terrible app. You will lose your money!

Good service. No crypto service is perfect but so far Etoro has been my best crypto experience. If you invest a minimum of $5k, you get a dedicated account manager to answer questions via email or phone by appt., which is a big help. My main issue is that I’d like to see more sophisticated trading data - specifically “live” charts - and some differences in the way orders for sells/close, stop losses, and take profits are entered because it’s not easy to follow or understand without some background research.

I want to buy XRP Now!. I am a beginner at Etoro, but a seasoned expert on other exchanges. I want to see exact purchase prices with modifications available by myself. I want to know what the fees are before I trade. I am an advanced trader on other exchanges and this is baby stuff on this platform. Do you have an advanced platform?. Another thing- I got fooled into signing up in order to trade xrp now that they beat the SEC. So relist it so We can buy it!!! Are my fees 0.25% or 1% or what?!? because I am new to Etoro. What are the fees?

One month later. I opened an eToro account nearly a month ago and I still cannot deposit funds in the account. After weeks of emailing customer support about the issue and them telling me I had to submit PDF bank statements showing the deposited funds from when I first funded the account (a snapshot of the account was not sufficient so I had to wait until my bank released the monthly statement) I still do not have access to make trades. It was completely okay for me to deposit the money when the account opened, but now I cannot add more nor can I take back what I have put in. This is not a good broker to use for trading cryptocurrency so don’t think that since they can spend a fortune for celebrity commercials and endorsements that they have your best interests in heart.

Poorly managed platform. While the platform doesn’t charge fees, the spread inbetween a live ticker and their adjusted price is a bit high. I guess that’s how they make their money. My issue with this platform and why I’m leaving a review however, is due to poor communication practices. Today I got a taste of their “last minute style of notification” which created mass panic all across the platform. I closed profitable trades, as did hundreds if not thousands of others, but many sold in deep red because it was not clear to them (I’m still confused) what eToro wanted us to do. The last line of their notification suggests that due to the volatile nature of crypto this and other actions or changes could happen at extremely short notice. Many have suggested that while these adjustments are normal for a broker/exchange etc, the timing in which they said the changes would go into effect (within hours...not days) is unheard of. That’s extremely concerning, not reassuring. Leaving the platform and please educate yourself about what you’re getting into. They don’t seem to be an honest or well managed company.

Verify ✅. It's very frustrating to get verified. It doesn't tell you everything you need to do from the get go, you get emails later on with more steps, and then you keep getting emails telling you that you still need to do things you've already done. I assume once you can actually use it it's fabulous. But from what l've seen, the graphs are far less user friendly and intuitive than say Coinbase graphs, more "professional trader" like though, if you're experienced and into that.

Difficulty Depositing Funds. Giving this platform two stars because 1) the app itself is clunky. Doesn’t quite feel like a natural app - just an extension of a browser. 2) as a user in the USA, I am having the hardest time deposit funds into my account. The first ACH transfer was successful, but subsequent transfers fail 100% of the time; both via ACH and Bank Transfer methods. My bank tells me the issue is from the eToro side. 3) customer service is terrible. I have emailed them several times about issue #2, but they keep sending me a generic copy/paste email that does not address my concerns. They then close my tickets out without proper resolution. 4) minimum buy-ins are STEEP and if you ever change your mind and want to move your money out of eToro, beware: there are minimums to meet in order to transfer funds to your wallet. And because depositing funds is not easy, my fear is that withdrawing funds back into my financial institution will be just as difficult. I would not recommend this app for a new user within the USA. As soon as I figure out a way to get my money back, I’ll be moving it over to a different exchange.

Currently down due to technical difficulties. Been using the app for like a week. Treasury secretary yellen said something and btc flushed 18% I add some money to buy more, hassle hassle hassle. Had to delink then re-link my bank account prior to each deposit which didn’t help my entry. Few hours for by next thing you know I’m unable to access my account because it is down ‘due to technical difficulties’. Ok maybe it’ll pass in an hour or two........ still can’t log in going on 13 hours since I first realized I couldn’t log in. Unacceptable for a financial app in 2021. Aside from the above mentioned, the app is: Slow, clunky, the ‘post’/‘return’/‘search’ button gets hidden under the keyboard when writing any type of text and won’t allow me to tap it unless I make some landscape double finger drag maneuver. Feels like these defects would have almost been acceptable in 2011, but absolutely not in 2021. I feel scammed as I cannot access my deposited cash and will cash out all my chips the minute I’m able to log back on. Disappointed with eToro crypto USA. I’d give it no stars if I could. UPDATE: The app started working again the next day. HOWEVER, now they removed the sell button so I have no way to sell inside the app. Cool app guys, just kidding for those who cannot pick up on the sarcasm. I just want my money back at this point so I can rid myself of this stress.

Second review after correction. I have been using Etoro for a few weeks now. After a initial issue was addressed I am completely happy with this app. There was a hiccup concerning the cryptocurrency ADA as apparently it was a new offering. The attention to the concerns and were quickly addressed and issues evaporated. I heartily can recommend this application and the exchange. Third review and I just closed my first cryptocurrencies... I recommend using the simulation to get the hang of the system. I looked at it...played with it for a few minutes and let it run in the background but did not take full advantage of being able to go through the motions and learn the functions properly. LOL... it was irrational of me and I felt stupid... but everything worked out. It could have been easier and potentially better though. I would not have made a buy when trying to sell. LOL

Scam promotions on a trash platform. First complaint is the scam promotional offer of a $500 signup bonus after depositing and purchasing $5000 worth of crypto. They advertised this promotion without mentioning that you had to receive a direct invitation. On top of this scam bait, the platform crashes anytime cryptos go on a year or crash suddenly. Store was down for an entire day when Bitcoin crashed ~15%. There was no explanation or compensation for customers losses. There was not even a statement. They acted like it didn’t happen at all. The app is clunky to say the least, I would never have even given it a second look except for the obviously too-good-to-be-true promotional offer of $500 for a $5000 deposit. Truly crap company.

Disappointed. Etoro was my favorite stock app until I moved to the USA from France. When I moved, etoro forced me to close my account due to some tax concerns between countries without giving any waiting time, and they simply cancelled all my investments all of a sudden and reimbursed my money with some fees. I was aiming to do a long term investment, and some of my stocks were running with loss and I was expecting to cope up that over time. Luckily I am a beginner and didn’t invest too much, if I put all my savings I would have completely screwed up. I am afraid now to use etoro again, because my profession demands frequent country changes, and I am extremely unhappy with the etoro service and user experience! I am looking for some other apps now. However, I learned the basics of stock market from etoro. It’s a very user friendly app.

Awful assistance. The app by itself has no issue, but when we talk about the customer service it become terrible, I had a small problem where I was supposed to send my passport and other document, I did it, but they’re keeping me sending the same email where they ask to send all the informations but no one actually take care of it, it’s been already 3 weeks and half with my account blocked where I can’t buy or sell any stocks or even withdraw money from it They also don’t have a customer service phone number, it’s all via email that means that I’ll never get it done Thanks #etoro

All good, but Glitches some times which don’t affect trade. I like the app a lot, and normally no issues How ever I am receiving promotions incorrectly as I registered during my business trips and my country. Is showing incorrectly so make sure you start registering from home, as they cannot correct it after, so my debit card is not working because my country is set incorrectly on their side as during registration I put my home country and all the documentation was for my home, had to go few back and forward for over a week to confirm my home address Several times chart was taking to long to load, specially when you switch between charts, some times it would show “old” chart of EuRCaD instead of USDCHF, had to restart the app, app loads fast so it’s not an issue, it’s just annoying And some times it would display positions that I’ve closed a few transactions ago, you have to restart app to see the actual positions. For App 5* For Glitches -1* For Customer Support -1* - takes to long to receive simple question reply, and they cannot fix most of the issues, please empower your agents to take decisions not wait for their managers to say yes or no

Great Platform but the app just need a little mor work. I like the app but sometime it works kimd of funny or is not clear where are some stuff, i use a lot of other crypto brokers, like gemeini, blockfy, and gemini and the thing that all of them have something in common. All of them have good, reliable and simple platform easy to use to any costumer. The thing that actually drive me etoro is the community, the alerts and the simulated portfolio to try new investing strategies. But if i will ever place great part of my crypto portfolio on this platform, first it needs some work.

Example of Idiots Everywhere.. A review says a guy lost his money after opening his account on etoro after deciding to go with another company. He closed his account before withdrawing his money! Well no wonder!! I’ve never had an issue with withdrawing money. You also need to be able to read and understand what your reading. Etoro has a minimum deposit to open of $10 and to withdraw money you must have a minimum of $30 to withdraw your funds. Reading is a Very useful skill lol!!!

Great app - space for improvement. Great up. Few suggestions to make life easy: 1) I’d like to create my own portfolios the way I’m able to create my own watch-lists. 2) Also, need the options to “unfollow” a smart portfolio without clothing everything like the stop-copy. Aka, I want to select what I want to close and what I want to keep. 3) I’d like to be able to view my portfolio based on loss/gain percentages, not only amount. This option was available in the past but you removed it in the last major update.

Customer Service needs a lot of work. I was locked out of my account for reasons I still do not know. I emailed them and within mins they replied...about a day or two they emailed me again saying they’re looking into the problem. About a week passed and received nothing. I emailed them asking them about my status. They told me to start a new account with another email. They said they would close my old account. Annoying but alright. I opened a second account and when I tried to put my personal information it said my info was already connected to another account. I was not able to move forward. I emailed support and have just been going back and forth with them ever since...I do not think my problem will be resolved anytime soon...I suggest to move onto another platform.

Unpleasant Experiences. During my time I witnessed the most horrible experiences during my short time trading with this app. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. To everyone using this app wake-up its 2023, you can do better than this 👍🏼 Your answer could help the situation if I receive it within 24 hours, but here your need to read and learn. You cant fix what happened in the past. And if your company meed better information delivery strategy. You have my email, i will be happy to provide you with better strategy. So many bad reviews and you don’t want ny review to be posted. Who is stopping my review from being posted?

Terrible platform. Their interface is clunky and leaves a lot to be desired, the selection is lacking, and the transfer system completely defeats the purpose of crypto. Assets apparently take a week to settle before they can be transferred to the wallet (according to their own FAQ), which probably takes more time than that to process, then it says it can take a week to show up in the selected account. This is the exact opposite of how crypto is supposed to operate. Update: It’s now been a week and I still can’t transfer my crypto. Was trying to avoid the dip that’s currently happening, but because of how long they lock up your assets I’m now out a few hundred dollars I would have been able to save if this was an actual functioning app. Don’t waste your time or money. Use literally any other app

Good app, why so many bad reviews?. Developers, perhaps you could shed some light on the situation for new users and explain why there are more than a handful of reviews complaining about their funds not being able to be withdrawn. I’ve wanted a few friends to use this app and they see some of the bad review, (even though there are more good ones,) and say that I’m crazy to use an app when there are more complaints about funds unavailability than there should be. Is it perhaps because US Customers are ignoring the rules and signing up anyway, and in order to stay compliant, is it a bit of a process then to get their money back after they violated rules?

Exactly how an exchange should work. Money is available for trade instantly at initial deposit and doesnt charge your account or clear until a few days after, on top of that exchange is instant and easy, I will use etoro for a while Cons : I wish there were more currencies to choose from and the didn’t have a $25 minimum buy limit. Because of the lack of options i spend more time on other exchanges but would enjoy seeing this service improve so everyone makes more money.

Fees like never before. Etoro is a platform that has great superficial features such as copy trader, leverage, social media walls. But behind it there’s a lot of lack of transparency: you don’t hold your keys in crypto unless you pay a lot, the company can take your assets at anytime (they are currently keeping my gains more than 5k euros, which now is taking a long time to get back). Is really scary when a trading platform can just take your assets at will. Beyond this the fees are the high but the worst is the SPREAD! Oh my god they rip you off with the spread. I understand that catching beginners is easy by showing kind of easy approach with copy trader. But don’t be misled, It’s not a great idea when you follow scalpers or people whom history may seem high. I’m fighting to get my money back and close this app forever.

Avoid eToro for buying/trading crypto. Be warned - the fees on eToro are ridiculous and this is not a good solution for trading crypto. Ever purchase will result with you immediately starting out with negative balance. “Fees” need to be applied for the transaction these should be a flat fee/charge and not by inflating the actual purchase price. For example, you buy 1 coin for a price of $100 and the eToro will sale that $100 coin to you for $103 instantly putting your negative and in the red. Oh then they also charge more $$$ to sale so the screw you twice. Several (most) users I’ve encountered are very frustrated with this and like me - have moved away from eToro the “other” options. I won’t name my choice as I’m not promoting anything - just paying it forward in hopes others don’t get robbed like I was.

Problem with Changing Account information Email ,Address Telephone number and my SS number. I had another account with this company that I forgot that I had I had a email account which cost that I use and I had lost my password and I had problems with my identity theft of someone that I was going in the business with that messed up my telephone I had to get a new phone but I have a comet due to the fact that was able to make one more than one One email account and which cause it was up under the first email which quiz I was still connected to Google that I was able to get in so I finally got a chance to get some money out of the account due to the fact that I was dead broke just said purchase a house and I was trying to get in contact with you this company that I have an account with and it was stressful but God sees another way to help you so I finally got in but I could not change anything because the company still haven’t got back to meBut I did get a chance to get some money to pay some bills and buy some food and this was doing the course of Covid Covid so I praises be to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I think the company for bearing with me and I look forward to continue to work with them and do business and I appreciate the company thank you.

Avoid Avoid Avoid. High fees, locked up coins, crashed server problems, and lastly Alec Baldwin. There are so many better exchanges out there. Read the reviews that don’t sound fake and you’ll thank me. If you buy ADA on eToro, you won’t be able to transfer them out. You have to sell them. So if you’re plan is to buy and hold, this is not the crypto exchange to use. However, they do have a really cool virtual account that lets you practice trading. It’s great as long as you can actually log in and access it, which is oftentimes not possible due to “technical difficulties” or whatever that 1970s phrase is supposed to mean that they are so fond of. Steer clear. Do some research and find an exchange that is actually useful.

Withdrawing money is a nightmare!!!. You have to argue with them for days even before they start processing a withdrawal!! Even then they only give you a small portion of the withdrawal that you requested, and even then those funds don’t clear in the bank account for weeks!! eToro are pigs. Quick to take your cash, but give you sleepless nights hoping that they some day repay you your hard earned dollars that you trusted them with. Steer clear of this app with absolute hopeless customer service, and even poorer respect for your wishes in getting any of your money back in 1-2 days. You will have to wait at least 2 weeks, and even then, who know?

Frustrating experience with app and website when trying to deposit money first time. I have already completed the questions and get link “ confirm answers “ when click on that it disappears but it still doesnt let me deposit anything, it asks for completing questions again. App cant go back from asking to complete questions page and when i press back button it blinks but doesnt move. Not a very good first experience of deposit. It doesnt build confidence to be honest. Ur fee and charges are already much higher vs othrr platforms and the poor service/ tech issues on top will motivate people to look at other options. Hope u reduce ur fee and sort out the issues soon.

Hello eToro. I enjoy this app it’s taking me alittle to get my head around but I would like to suggest a little thing you could add. If possible a count down timer for when stokes open and close would be lovely because then I could see exactly when they are going to close or open. Cheers

Horrible! There are MUCH better brokers out there if you’re serious about your money. Horrible broker, hd many issues.. Entered a BTC trade to withdraw my money in BTC and they changed their policy without any warnings canceling all BTC withdrawals.. leaving me with an opened trade.. Sent me the wrong bank account for deposit witch made me have my money stuck for extra 10 business days.. Their “trailing take profit” is confusing and you have to enter an amount in $ instead of a market value as ever other broker Anyways, just a horrible service, more a social media than a real broker, if you’re serious about your money, look for another service..

Unreliable. Haven’t been able to access my account for over 15+ hours can’t open, close or sell my positions this is unacceptable during high market volatility times feels like I’m not even in control of my money they have lost a lot of people money over the last 24 hours and from the comments on their Twitter pages it’s not the first time this has happened so when they finally get it back online I’ll be moving on to a different platform for eToro no longer feels safe

Don’t waste your money here!. I also deposited $500 over a week ago and they still haven’t verified my account so I couldn’t trade. I waited patiently enough so I requested a refund that it’s not going to be the same amount I deposited I’m getting less then I deposited without even having a chance to trade due to the lack of customer services. No live chat neither a phone number. They take ages to get back to you. Furthermore their platform is very unreliable and crashes very often. Go else where there’s some way better platform then this one to trade. Hello and good bye EToro and you’re more than welcome to keep that fee your charged me for nothing.

Crappy App. Could not complete verification. Tried to contact them, but the app is loading a web page in the app for contact. That page requires login, but login page freezes. So could not contact them to get support. Really crappy feeling app, with web pages advertising the app I’m using within the app I’m using. Really poorly produced, faulty, feels like an afterthought to a web service. The thing an app should offer on iOS is robust fast easy experience. This offers non of that, and feels like an outsourced overseas cheap tender job.

Your not necessarily in control with eToro. Very dissatisfied to find that my Polymetal shares had been sold for me without any consultation or warning. Zero communication. Is that even legal? The whole time before this at the beginning of the Ukrainian/Russian war the shares were frozen so that I couldn’t sell them even if I wanted to. BTW eToro Polymetal doesn’t just do business in Russia, they have stuff going on elsewhere. Is there an independent body that judges these things? Probably not. I saw eToro’s ability to freeze trades seemingly whenever they felt like doing it. Just a warning, you have far less control than you probably think you have.

If I could give it lower I would. I placed an order to purchase as the markets opened, the app did not make my purchase go through therefore I lost an incredible amount of growth. Furthermore the app crashed, for that matter the entire company’s services crashed for over 30 minutes. Wouldn’t let me use the back up trading because “there was no server to handle this request” and then they later come out saying that they halted pre market orders on a bunch of stock which I clearly didn’t even place. I placed it at closing value of the day before therefore the order should have gone through straight away. Seems like a poor excuse for we are terrible and can’t work our servers properly.

App seems glitchy. The app seems very glitchy when it comes to deposits, it is designed as a web app and I think bundled into the App Store. When you type in the amount there is no deposit button. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and it is hard to see the history of positions closed in the app. I don’t really know how they have not managed this as it is quite standard. The dividends come up as refunds quite odd. Coming from likes of stake and plus 500 those apps are way more polished and bug free.

Good. The recent update was bit confusing , and it took some time to figure it out. The only main issue I faced with the the app was that it crashed last year when I was trying sell to a stock otherwise the app is smooth

Beware!. I deposited 1500 aud. $15 immediately disappeared. It doesn’t show in transactions history. Then I copy paste few of the cfds. After few days loosing a bit of money. I closed the trade. Application says closing is pending. I’m waiting for the closing of all copy paste trade. Then few days wait for withdrawal. No customer support no live chat . Just an email that will take one week for an auto generated email. All you can do just wait. There are so many other hidden charges. Just stay away from this application. You will loose money without trading.

Good overall but login process is a bit archaic. Good platform overall for its core function, however app logs itself out after 2-3 days, even if you select stay logged in. It also requires a password to be put in each time. It would be great to see faceID login implemented, as with most contemporary financial apps.

Etoro. Enjoying Etoro, getting used to the platform pretty quick. Once set up it is easy to deposit funds quickly and withdrawing even fairly large amounts is easy and the times I have withdrawn funds has only been 3-4 working days to my bank account. Loads of information to read up on and friendly easy to talk to staff.

Great for beginners. EToro is simple to use and very easy to wrap your head around for beginners but when trading CFD’s there could be a little more with warning about how risky it can be especially with leverage. Spreads on crypto are quite high and also the price is set by EToro, loosely based off of other exchanges. If you want to buy crypto there’s better platforms but if you want simplicity and all your portfolio on one platform with stocks and other investment avenues, EToro works well. Probably the nicest UI for mobile and Web with slight UI frustrations but hopefully with later updates and improvements those inconveniences are fixed.

Customer service. I open an account , tried to verify my account. Filled all the forms and even put money to the account so i can start asap! My account is 95% verified and I keep uploading my documents over and over and still more than 2 weeks, it is not verified! Their customer service is so bad i got my case number and after i send my documents for 100th times and now i got a mail my account is limited because i didnt provide my documents. You guys are a joke! Now i try to get my money back. AWESOME!

Terrible customer support. I made an account while overseas with a different number. When I arrived back in my home country I thought I would just go into settings and change the number. I found out to login and change number I needed to have access to that number (which I didn’t). I then went to their website to file a support slip which I was unable to do because I needed to login. I then found a eToro support email, which I haven’t gotten a response from in about three weeks. This is an endless cycle that I cannot get out of.

Great educational tool. Has thought me to play the market, Explains things very clearly in a concise way , be it with the written word or big clear buttons with many functions , My main concern is the difficulty i have had withdrawing my money, i should be able to just flick it to another account with ease ,like some of the other lesser apps offer. Disappeared deposit and inefficient customer service. I deposited AUD$1,500 3 weeks ago (15 business days) but the funds have yet to be credited to my etoro account. I tried raising this issue multiple times via Customer Service tickets, but the responses always take more than a week, and it is always just a template response that offers no solution to the problem. On multiple occasions, they closed my ticket after providing me with a template response and my funds are still missing! Read a lot reviews here stating that their funds seem to have been ‘stolen’... The SAME (over the past 3 years, based on older reviews) excuse used by the developer for the poor customer service and inefficient responses has been ‘the high recent demands in cryptocurrencies’ ... ‘large increase in customer enquiries and registrations’. Surely if this was a legitimate company, something would’ve been done long ago about this lack of staff? Totally inexcusable lousy service. Hope you can improve yourself. For a start, could you please refund me my money?

Please don’t use this platform. I am writing this during the faeb market crash of 2021. On the day that the market collapsed everyone was shut out of the platform, no one was able to access their money and their offline service that only allowed people to sell but didn’t allow people to access the money they had on the platform if they were able to access it at all or make the appropriate decisions that a large market decision requires, this platform can not handle market corrections and when the platform goes down the owners feel no responsibility to inform clients about their own money. I am now wondering if I will ever see my money again and it’s been 17hours since I’ve been able to log in. Please don’t use this platform. You were warned.

App is buggy. Trying to sign up was very difficult as the text entry fields had trouble recognising that I was tapping on them. This same bug continued onceI finally managed to complete the process. If I needed to buy or sell something in a hurry, I couldn’t rely on it to work properly. Aside from that, the actual questions I was asked when trying to sign up were quite invasive, plus the app kept assuming I was a US citizen which I am not. Deleted.

Making money with Etoro. Etoro is my favourite platform for commission free trading of US stocks. Not having to worry about commission and Etoro’s quality charts are helping me to achieve excellent portfolio growth. The popular investor program is an excellent idea and can help you generate additional revenue if you have a large following, or you can copy your favourite investors. There is also a referral promotion offering up to 1000 USD!

DO NOT USE. This company is corrupt and has costs customers thousands. They take a huge profit off your money but then joined other companies in barring you from purchasing stocks. The server has multiple glitches which are yet to be even addressed. They have made a personal choice to stop paying customers from buying the stocks of their choice. Not only have they prevented people buying the stocks of their choice but multiple comments on the website are saying people cannot pull their money either, effectively having their money kept hostage while not allowed to make investments

Excellent way to learn about trading. This app is great for learning about trading, the live market whilst using a virtual account is a great tool to learn the do’s and dont’s of trading. Making mistakes is all part of the process but at least this way it doesn’t cost you anything, well apart from a bit of ribbing from your mates.

Nice user experience using the site. Been using for few months trading. Learning to yse the app along the way. Nice and easy screen layout but some trading options in the app were hidden in the app and also need to know for new users as there is no confirmation when you click/tap the buttons.

Poor UI means unable to deposit.. Had my account ready to be verified and begin the deposit process. The app queries that first they will conduct a short exam to quantify your knowledge on economics. Scrolled down through the message and the ‘OK’ button, to start said exam,& is inaccessible and greyed out. The app made me jump through hoops to get verified and then won’t make allowance for quite literally the last step before reviewing/buying/selling some stock. Reads like a information phishing scam and/or the IT department is garbage.

Bad UI. High fees and spreads are unbelievable. Communication is a nightmare.. I have used multiple products and trading platforms and eTORO is the worst so far! Spreads are so messy, very high deposits and withdrawal fees due to USD conversation (I’m depositing AUD and why would I pay such high entry and exit fees eTORO? ~$15 fees for a deposit of less than ~A$500 are you kidding me!?). I have found much better UI and customer service on other platforms. Also regarding the social feature of eTORO, I found that most of the people are just gambling and create useless noise on the platform - absolute rubbish!! My experience was so bad that it forced me to write my first EVER app review!

HIGH RISK. Very dodgy app, applies x50 leverage on all stock, says no commission on trades yet their are fees for holding positions, customer service is non existent, they ask for credit card information which they already have, and once you send that off they send you an automatic response and nothing gets fixed. Sometimes your positions will close with no warning and no order to be closed by yourself. Etoro has a bad reputation on Facebook with many users claiming etoro have closed their positions and classed them as glitches. Sometimes the market open times changes, sometimes you can trade gold 24/7 sometimes you can’t, sometimes you wake up with a message saying “psoition closed -$50) and you think to yourself, “how does it force close itself and not it’s up 8%?” All in all I thought this was a great investment app, I put several thousand into this app, yet I am not given a single ounce of customer service. They claim to make it easier for investors which is actually false. They apply leveraging with investors that may not know what that means. Etoro make huge margins on your sales. The spread on etoro is ridiculous and I’ve read in several comments that it’s one of the highest in the industry. Still to this day they have not confirmed how my funds were sent to a closed account even though I’ve filled out a bank transfer for a different account that it never reached.

Be careful. Have used the app for a few months and made a little bit of (hypothetical) money, so decided to withdraw. Despite it being very easy to deposit funds from my bank account, the only option to get my money back was PayPal, which I did, but the money has so far not shown up. I have tried to contact them via the app, in the “write to us” section and the “complaints procedure” section, but once u click on them it asks u to log in to your account (despite already being logged in), and then freezes. Very frustrating, I hope to eventually get the money but the fact that I can’t contact them is making me feel like this is a big scam. Hope I’m wrong

Stay away. Stay away from Etoro! They close your trades without your permission (in my case losing me money for no reason at all). They won’t let you set take profit limits/stop loss limits as you like. They won’t let me place orders for certain stock outside of hours (as you can with other stocks). Their site/app has have been down all of today and it’s completely unacceptable. I need to be able to act and especially during times of such volatility. Please use a different broker for your own sake.

Good but not great. A good app for online trading, with full access to global markets. Needs to process deposits, buys, sells more rapidly. Needs to geolocate to default to local currency rather than having to do this manually and risk conversion fees. A clear tracker on dividends is important but notably absent. Analysis needs to be updated more frequently.

Good app but expensive to start. Easy way to invest. Although some things I didn’t like was I deposited about $500 AUD and it ended up around $484 AUD because of a conversion to USD fee which they didn’t mention when I did the deposit. After I noticed less money after the transfer completed, I calculated this cost to deposit being around 3% of the $500 AUD. That’s really high just to deposit money into the platform before buying anything. I appreciate the response from etoro but it didn’t clarify my concern as the information on the website is not reflecting what happened to me. They advise you would be charged around $50 for a $10,000 deposit although then how was I charged about $15 on a $500 deposit. Also the spreads seem a bit high and you cannot have tight or close stop losses which seemed a bit weird and risky for new traders. Fun to copy professional traders and make an earning of that but I will need more than 3% just to break even and then who knows what the withdrawal fee will be. I also tried to reach out to etoro but they have no contact number and no live chat and you can only submit a form and wait around 7 days for a response. Is that customer service? I wish I could trust this app more so I could deposit more but on the test $500 deposit, it seems not feasible so far

Terrible app - do not trust. Very shady practices putting non removable stop losses on customers trades on volatile stocks then closing their trade at a loss, easily losing their customers hundreds if not thousands of dollars. When I signed up they also took a large chunk of my deposit as a “conversion fee” when no where I could find anything telling me about cost before I deposited $10k. Even when I tried searching for details of fees and charges in the relevant terms and conditions before depositing, it was very difficult to find a full fee disclosure and it’s advertised everywhere as there being no fees. Very shady and will be withdrawing my money and closing my account once this mess is over.

THIS APP IS TRASH - cancels trades and HUGE commission. when i first got the app, i tested it for a while and then decided to get deposit $500 and it actually tuned out to be something like 480 because of the conversion fee which it did not tell me about. Then after, i did extensive research on game-stop and decided to buy, and the stock skyrocketed and so i bought more and more of the stock and it kept on rising but to my dismay, etoro had actually banned you from buying or selling GameStop to re-level the market which us terrible for me because it means that i hardly made any profit in the end. TERRIBLE APP.

Excellent. Everything about this platform and app is brilliant. Easy to trade, to discuss trading and the market, easy to copy successful traders, and watch the charts. You even get a real person to talk to about your account, five days a week. I love eToro and I’ve been with them for 3 years.

Very easy to use and understand. Great share and cfd app if you want in on the market with little confusion. Probably the easiest of all cfd apps to understand and maintain. As per always you need to inform yourself,,,, yes eToro makes money out of spreads and fees and yes you can lose money if you are ill informed. However eToro have been doing this for a while and in my experience do what they say the do in a progressional manner

Great into to trading. This was my first trading platform and I still use it. Easy to use, great for copying other traders, and the social media element is enjoyable and informative. It would be good if the navigation between my portfolio and stock I’m watching was a bit smoother, and I’d like to be able to transfer funds to and from crypto wallets. Otherwise it’s great!

Good but one major and crucial function missing. I enjoy etoro. Been using it for about 7 months and have gained a profit more than what I have expected. Have done this by copying individuals. Now... one thing is great is that you can increase your original copy proportionally (coping open trades) Allows you to put more in to your investment in a person. However - etoro does not let you do the reverse. You can’t reduce your copy proportionally. You can only completely close it or withdraw the funds that are uninvested which is not always available and also puts you out of proportion. This is the sole item preventing me from plowing six figures into etoro. I would like to be able to cash out profits here and there if I need to instead of having to close the whole thing. Etoro should make money on the spreads of closing the partial amount so I’m not sure why they are holding out on this feature. You are grabbing good market share, would be great for you to focus on the items investors need to solidify it.

Not a great platform. Some options are not straightforward to use. Had a few times I found some of my stocks sold without me realising because automatic take profit had been set up. Really frustrating system. Wish I had never started with etoro. Turns out there are so many better platforms out there. Regret I chose to use this platform carelessly. Even when you buy or sell, it doesn’t ask you twice. If you press the wrong button or slip your finger, it’s gone. Doesn’t seem very professional for a platform that deals lots of money. I’m slowly transfering my fund to other platform.

Everyone aspiring to invest must try etoro. Etoro makes investing as easy as 1, 2 and 3. So many native features that help rookies to learn and make smart choices. Love the auto stop loss and auto profit take feature with trailing loss option. Furthermore; the analytics on your portfolio smartly paired with news feed is just yum!

DO NOT USE ETORO. I created my account, went through all the steps and after they asked me to deposit money- so I did. When I went to start trading, I found that I couldn’t because my account still needed to be verified. I was confused why they would ask for money before I could even use it. Turns out, my account couldn’t be verified after 2 weeks of waiting! Now they will refund the money— but only after charging me $5USD! It’s a scam. They know what they are doing. I would have never deposited money if I knew I couldn’t trade with it, but that’s exactly what they want. Wanna know how they make money? This is it. Don’t even bother.

Kids the casinos are closed so get on the bull!. Given the absence of insight/sophistication in the majority of community comments and acknowledging that this is a data play wherein the users are paying for the “free” service with clipping margins on exchange rates etc it’s hard to recommend what appears an overall rather unhealthy cultural trend. eToro is one of the leaders in the growing wave of addiction breeding / gamification of markets fin tech app culture. It will be interesting to see if regulators herald it’s end or if it will implode... All that said in comparison to what else is out there it works and is the best example I’ve experienced thus far. Beware no one will be holding your hand (customer service has been outsourced to “the aforementioned community” or reddit) and the enticed leveraging can lead to serious personal and social problems. Stole all my money. Don’t use!! They canceled my account - lost all my money. Told me they cannot access my account and to contact them. I have contacted them so many times - just rude emails back. They respond in public to day contact them - I do, rude and useless responses!!! Thieves and liers - don’t trust them!!! Dear developer - don’t reply to this review to contact you - I have so many times!!! You can contact me instead if you are honest and want to fix this!!!

Good but could be better. Overall not bad. It would be better if charts were responsive and snappy like on Binance or Trading View apps. I really hate that trade sizes are pre-filled and its easy to accidentally confuse sell vs buy order as well as its easy to confuse inputting Units vs $ amount. The feeling I get is it’s intentionally done because the mistake will always benefit profit for eToro as errors will lead to much larger trades than intended

Terrible customer service. While a micro investing app might seem like a good idea if you do download it you best hope you don’t run into any issues requiring the customer service team. There is no contact number and so every time you type a response about your issue you get yet another brand new person who doesn’t read through the message thread and copies and pastes the standardised advice, that’s already been sent 3 times, that isn’t actually appropriate for your situation. All I wanted to do was change my address. I moved house this week and so all I have currently to prove my address is my lease. I sent that to eToro but apparently that isn’t good enough for them and they continue to insist on a utility bill despite explaining more than once it’ll be weeks before I have one of those and the tenancy agreement is all signed, legally binding and good enough for literally everybody else I’ve had to change address with. They’re now harping on at me that my account is at risk if I don’t verify when I literally can’t when they insist on it being a bill or bank statement that obviously is not sent out so quickly. Avoid and go for a micro investing app that cares about its customers instead.

Lacking many features that should be a right to retail investors. Does not allow access to pre and post market trading, doesn’t allow buying or selling options contracts, doesn’t allow fractional shares, the app seems incomplete and missing many features such as the ones I just mentioned. This app is for beginner investors but the odds are stacked against you because you don’t have basic tools or financial instruments to give you the best chance of making money. The analysis is alright but should be expected on every trading app.

Beware! Absolute crooks. Will close your positions at their discretion. Will change leverage at their discretion. Will not allow buying at their discretion. Ridiculous spreads. Zero customer service. Constant crashing of app when you are about to make a little bit of money. The only notification you will receive is after they have closed your position at a loss! Absolute joke of an app. They take your money and pay people like Alec Baldwin to market there BS platform. I’d give it 0 if I could.

etoro app is getting worse (update). From starting the chart settings (MA, RSi, MACD, etc) can be saved for my next checking; but now all the chart setting will disappear when you switch to the other view of stock. IT IS VERY ANNOYING! It’s wasting time to add all the line/indicators again and again. I asked my customer manager and he said ProCharts can keep the same settings and apply for all stocks but only available in desktop version. And recently, I just realise that searching stocks in etoro is also an BIG ISSUE. When I search a stock and click it, the app won’t let you check the stock; instead it will go back to the original searching screen. I can’t check the searched stock or add it to my favourite. WHAT’S GOING ON? Please fix the problems at your earliest convenience. I have tried a number of similar trading apps and etoro is the worst so far. Can etoro do any better? **************** The customer service helped to allocate a suitable expert and she did help me to resolve my problems. And all happened within 24 hours. SO SURPRISED! I guess I am not allot to hold my own property at the age of 42. Losing $30 in seconds was the best part of my experience with FEE-toro

Unprofessional. This app is not well put together, very sketchy, put 50$ in, they didn’t have the crypto I wanted to invest in, tried getting my 50$ out, only allowed me to transfer out 30$ of it back into my account, which still HASNT made it back into my bank account therefor leaving 20$ in my account which I can’t trade with bc they made a min. 25$, and I’d have to deposit another 50$ into my account. Very crappy app and very unprofessional. Disappointed and mad that I lost money without even investing, that just shows this app is garbage and I would NOT recommend using it.

Fraudsters. They have no customer service take forever to reply to your email only to tell you they have no time, I’ve never had such a horrible experience with a “legit” company before until I “bought” Bitcoin from etoro, avoid at all cost and save yourself the splitting headaches , anxiety, and wasted days from their non existent customer service. Pathetic. Huge headache if this is the new age of customer service. 🤣🤣🤣 They don’t respond to complaints. Email all you like and you’ll get nothing but form responses in 2-3 days. They disconnect my Touch ID at random so every few weeks I have to relink it. I have linked my bank accounts over 6 times and they continually just lose my bank account link they yet another 3rd party who has managed to lose my bank account numbers. How can they keep my money secure if they can’t even manage to keep my account numbers linked! Pathetic ,,,,but no place else to buy ADA and TRX until coinbase pro fixes all their glitches! I cry for the future.

EToro cost me so much money. I bought Cardano and found out it’s not actually your coin and you can’t move it to a wallet for staking. I then had to remove the almost 2 thousand I had on the account while the price was going up and down and I was trying not to lose all my money that I had made on my initial investment. Withdrawing your money when you’ve finally had enough of them takes forever as well. That paired with the site being down for a day, on two separate occasions makes me hate this company. Use any other exchange and you will be better off. Wish I never used them.

Better than coinbase. I originally tried to sign up for coinbase, but after 2 days of error codes trying to link a bank account, i gave up and found etoro. I was able to sign up, link and fund my account, and purchase crypto in minutes.

Need to improve. The app freeze all the time. You can not even go to search because it sends you to the portafolio…. Today I choose to close an operation manually and the app close another one making me loosing money. They have no support available. And literally I have to close the app al the time to see if it respond but most of the times it does not. I sent all my documents in order to comply to IRS but they made me close my account and my positions casing me massive losts. Terrible app do not dowload

Finally found a home. I just found EToro today have checked out Coinbase and the fees are a little crazy tried Binance Kraken and a few others who I couldn’t connect my bank account with and had no customer support. So far I love this app easy to follow I’m still figuring things out I don’t know a lot about crypto but I’m happy to finally find a home

$1000 minium deposit for first time users. After crashing for an entire day Etoro decided that they were going to apologize to their users by RAISING the minimum deposit $1000 for first time users. They do little secret things to make money like if you are trying to buy a stock at .95¢ they make you pay around 1.04 when you try to actually buy the stock it’s called “Etoro’s price”. Also now the minimum investment if you want to copy someone is $500 and you can’t even stake your coins because Etoro is already doing that to make money as well. The only reason I am invested in Etoro is because of my Cardano (ADA) stock but as soon as I find another platform to buy on I am moving ASAP

Scam Service. Incredibly shady practices. Don’t give them a cent of your money unless you’re fine with them just taking it. They froze my account with crypto I had purchased years ago and by the time I noticed they had closed all my positions and forced me to loose hundreds of dollars. And when I approached them about this they were glad to tell me you actually give them the right to do that at any time when signing up to use their service. I’d feel safer letting my children play on a highway than give this service another dollar of my money.

MUST READ or You Will Lose All Your Investments. Their advertised “Smart Portfolios” do not work! They set a Stop Loss by default and it does not give you the option to remove SL, even though their Q&A claims it has that option. This makes their portfolios set to failure for long-term investment, since markets can temporarily crash (triggering SL) but then recover over time. I tried reaching Customer Service but they claimed there is no way to remove stop loss. Another thing, their managed portfolios DOES NOT generate profit. They said you don’t need to do anything, but that’s not true. You need to close portfolio when you see profit, otherwise it goes green, red, green, and then red until it hits SL trigger and loses your investment. IT DOES NOT WORK FOR LONG TERM INVESTMENT. Also, you can’t individually sell cryptos from those “Smart” portfolios. Only way to close that winning crypto is to close your entire portfolio, which will include multiple losses. Avoid eToro trading at all costs. I warned you.

The became a casino... SO SAD. I’ve been using it since 2017 and it was great. However since the crypto and commodities market sky rocket in the end of 2020 now they changed everything and cancelled the leverage making many people to lose money. Also, the minimum deposit to buy gold, silver, aluminum etc. went up (because they were loosing money). The last years were great for them, but now that we are the ones getting profit they changed everything to fix their needs... Just another scam (Alec Baldwin should now tell the truth on their ads)

Unsatisfactory. Everything is fine until you start putting or withdrawing funds, you will not get your money and they provide fake documents after over-charging you for every transaction. No answers, No replies to SMS, No responses to emails, Calls always rejected, they don’t call you and say (we’ve tried but ur phone is off) so they wont lose international call charges and force you to call them (cuz you need them “ur money”), No cooperation, they purposely force you to fill strange/personalized forms (which includes security infos or UNRELATED things) “in hope” that you wont accept or you refuse, then they legally take ur money or close account and money lost .. etc Remember; Apple is not responsible if you submit critical personal info or security issues to third parties. Basically, they are after your shoes 24/7 (via phone, email, sms) and feel importance .. until they get your money funds IN account; then .. 180 degrees ZERO communication and game started. Not recommended

Resize columns. I have loved the used of eToro. It is by far superior to Robinhood. In a recent(ish) update they introduced a permanent sidebar to the iPad app and now the columns are squashed which cuts off the real time price per share in the portfolio view. It seems a huge UI oversight that I believe it to be a bug. I would give 5 stars for either a auto-hide sidebar, resizeable columns or an option to hide some columns (instead of simply re-ordering them). I use a 12.9" iPad.

Copy Crypto Profile. They got 15 major cryptos to trade on. Best thing is you can copy big time traders. Especially if you are new in the game learn from the pros what they are buying and. Selling and copy their portfolio and than you can start making your individual coin bets based upon market research. Only open to Crypto in US market based not open to stocks yet!

Change the age on this page. Okay if you have to be 18 or older to sign up, don’t say “4+ years old” on the download page. I’m 17 in high school and am taking an economics class and we’re getting into stocks and stuff. I wanted to try the practice/demo/virtual option so I’m not spending actual money but still could learn how the stock market or any other of the markets work. Please change this it is misleading

Needs a bit more work but great. Love the platform but still needs more work, the app is very buggy, especially when it's a critical Time during a trade it always glitches which is very critical during trades. The graphs are very limited needs a bit of an upgrade like trading view and it's not very responsive and laggy to actual market price and changes. But with all that I still love etoros services and platform over any other platform

Awesome concept. Think this is an amazing idea, it’s like the Uber of investing, you find someone that fits your parameters and they will drive you around (your finances) while you’re in the back just riding, once you feel comfortable enough you can start financially ubering yourself!

Easy to navigate!. I have a few other trading platforms but this is the easiest one for me to navigate. I’m still somewhat new to investing, but with this app all the information is easily accessible, buying and selling is as simple as hitting the button. Great app layout!!

False Advertising it’s Gambling & Loans. Read the fine print you aren’t the beneficiary with the bank used to associate with this platform just open your brokerage Roths and IRAs you don’t market stocks you just pay into something for something else it’s not investing its investigating something your never getting

Walk Away. This app had given the worst trading experience and customer service experience of all time. The app has been down over 12 hrs without any solid updates to the status of the problem. The customer support web page is not working. The so call offline trading is not working which means you can close trades. I don’t log in often but fellow etoro member say app issues are common and they will be getting rid of this app. I have know idea if money I put in this app is still there after all this time.

Terrible. eToro is holding my money hostage and I can’t withdraw it. I submitted some money with eToro with a joint bank account. After weeks of going back and forth with their customer service through email they said they could not accept my method of payment because my name was not on the bank account, I provided a bank statement that showed my name on the account but they wouldn’t accept it. I was sick of getting the runaround and tried to take my money out and now they won’t let me withdraw my funds. Beware before you put your money into eToro, you might never get it back.

Simple, still needs refining. Trading is simple, buying and withdrawing made easy. Virtual environment with a certain amount is nice to see too. Screen icons not appearing when you enter a new screen, such as upload is at the bottom and needs the page refreshed. Smoothness between screens can be improved upon. Allowing a wallet connection for crypto payout and transfer would be helpful as well.

Great casino but could have better tutorials. Anybody new in here can lose big not knowing jargon. There should be complete courses on what all the buttons are for and what they do. And newbies DON’T USE REAL MONEY until you’ve been using the virtual side for enough time to know what you are doing… only come in here with money you can afford to lose. This is a gambling platform so don’t bet the house or the kids tuition.

Works like it’s suppose to. I like how the app isn’t flooded with all the charts/ different data ( which is super important), however it’s possible to add those features later when you are comfortable navigating and getting accustomed to the app at first. Certainly room for development, which I’ll be looking forward to seeing in the future.

Worst trading app I’ve used. This is by far the worst trading app, and here’s why- selling crypto is extremely difficult once you’ve purchased it, not as simple as hitting the Sell button. You also can’t set stop losses close to where the price of the asset currently stands, in fact I wasn’t even able to set the SL at where I purchased the asset. Worst part of this app is the delay in Withdrawing funds. It has taken over 4 days to get my money out after being fed up with the limitations and fees of this app, still waiting on them to “process my request”. Deleting this app as soon as I get my money back.

I love eToro.. For me it works perfectly. It might not be the best but is one of the best in the market. Like everybody they have some problems here and there but they are always working to try to fix the bugs. They are a little slow once you want your money but I love it and works for me. Patience is the key. For sure am very happy with eToro. Thank you EToro. 4 years with eToro and I won’t change them.

Needs better Design and Functionality. Every time I make a trade I have to unlink my bank account and then re-link it. Which is very aggravating. My two friends that use eToro have to do the same thing and they have different banks. Also, the charts are very clunky and hard to read. Wish there was a simple line graph option that showed the amounts over time instead of or in addition to the bar chart. Only good thing are the low transaction fees which is almost overshadowed by the poor functionality and issues with the app...

Lied to Regarding Sign Up Bonus. I joined this company because I was promised a $52 signup bonus through OfferToro. However after weeks of back and forth I did not receive this sign up bonus. I don’t think that either of these companies are practice in good faith after this ordeal and I will be deleting my account and not using this service ever again. There are plenty of trading platforms that do not mislead when it comes to signup bonuses. I would appreciate if someone from eToro was willing to help me with this situation but otherwise I will be leaving and never coming back.

NOT VERY GOOD PLATFORM!. You are not able to move your coins from the platform anywhere. There is some kind of wallet available only in few states - if you are not part of it- you are stuck . Support is horrible and there is a big gap between buying and selling price of the coins. Yes you can deposit and withdraw your funds I think. Not sure how that would work since I didn’t find my bank on the list for withdrawal but I was able to deposit. It might be interesting when I actually want to transfer funds over to my bank. Not sure what the outcome will be?

Bad. Really really can’t recommend this app, I’ve been testing trading platforms that support crypto by allowing u to actually purchase coin and hold it. EToro out of all of the ones I’ve tried is the worst. Their price splits r awful most of the time giving u like .93¢ per 1$. So slow I mean my bank transfer took 4 days ACH. So after everything takes so long and I see it’s a bad platform I get ready to just transfer all my coin out of my wallet. I have to wait a week+ to get my own money. Don’t deposit money to this. After you deposit your money into this app, you think that you will make money with buying and selling coins. NO, YOU DO NOT make money with this app. Your money will be gone after buying and selling the crypto coins. The buying prices of the crypto currency are way TOO high that you need First Lady Luck to earn couple bucks for $500 you are paying for. Let’s make it simple: it doesn’t matter how much you are buying but every $100 you are buying, you will gain -$3.16. You do the math: you want to buy 2 litecoin at $215. You pay $430/ 2 litecoins. You gain almost -$13 first. You got to wait for your luck until the price of your litecoin go up to $222 from $215 to earn $1. How often does the crypto coins goes up $6.5? It happens on the blue moon day. So, the change of loosing your money with this app is approximately 90% or higher.

Worst. Company. Ever.. Things went smoothly transferring money into the platform. Now trying to withdraw some of my money and it has been IMPOSSIBLE! I Submitted the request 2 weeks ago. My withdrawal was quickly put “on hold” claiming my banking information was incorrect. It was the same information I used to transfer money in but whatever. I’ve confirmed the information is correct numerous times and asked customer service how to proceed and they just keep sending me the same generic response about my information being incorrect and it takes them days and days to even write that. HORRIBLE. I can’t wait to get my money out of this thing.

Withdrawal. I just want to share with you my positive experience with Etoro withdrawing funds. I assumed it would take 10 days, it took not even a day , no issues at all. Also the customer service is excellent . They are courteous ,patient and helpful. I am writing this just in case anyone is in question of witdraeals.

Need Night/Dark Mode. Overall a good application. User friendly, fun to use and good information. One major thing that’s lacking is a night/dark mode. To much bright white space that should really be toned down. Would be nice if a dark mode option was added to the apps in the settings and website also. Until that happens…4 stars.

Do not invest here!. Everything is fine until they are “verifying your account”. My money has been stuck there without me being able to withdrawal it for the past week. It will not become available until I am verified. I have tried many modes of contacting customer service and it is nearly impossible to get them to answer! The online chat does not work in the US, they have been verifying my account for the Past few days with nothing. They continue to try to get you to add more money. My experience has been unpleasant!

Great trading app, customer service could be faster. I’ve been trading on eToro since the first quarter of 2020 and have been amazed by the interface and ease of use. I was able to deposit and withdraw my money easily. The only point that could be improved is the customer service which could be faster ( at least for customers who are in platinum status and up ).

A lot better learning curve. you can learn a lot from this side opposed to other sites that don’t give you much info other than just numbers at least here you can follow someone and learn more than you can honestly anywhere else

A masterpiece in the making!. The amount of information on this app is amazing. I haven’t Been in the crypto world very long. July will be a whole year, and I’m self taught. This app can teach you a whole lot but all across-the-board the best thing to do is to do your research on every cryptocurrency or stock you invest in. And then keep tabs on your investments, but be sure not to feed into the fear market too much lol

Not a fan of eToro for a few reasons. I first started my account and was excited to see how etoro compared to Binance, Bittrex, etc... At first, everything looks clean and polished. What I learned is that the commissions are sky high. Now, they say they do not charge commissions but what they do is charge a spread on the current value vs. what you will be buying it for. In most cases, you’ll end up spending a lot more this way. The problems only start here. You cannot move your crypto around easily. You have to install their wallet and go that way. The instructions are vague, even with the videos you have to hunt around online for... If you manage to sell your crypto, your fiat withdrawals go under ‘review.’...like I need permission to pull my funds out? I’m sticking with other sites that are easier to use and cheaper. There are much better options...

Something sketchy.... The big draw for this service/app is the ability to copy the trades of other successful traders automatically. However, when you pull up list of the supposedly most-copied traders, hard to find one the app will let you copy. A few get an error saying too many people are copying them and have hit a limit - but here’s the sketchy one: most get an error saying “this trader doesn’t meet our requirements for being copied by others”. How can so many of the people on the list of those being copied by others with the highest returns at the same time not meet the requirements to be copied?

Etoro platform complicated withdrawal process. I have several platforms I use to trade. They are the only ones that ask me for my bank account when I started to withdraw. Surprisingly they did not have any trouble getting money from my bank account when I first started my deposit. I did not claim their free $50 as I only wanted to try their platform and only deposited a small amount, so I’m withdrawing my own money that I deposited and not theirs. I don’t get why they are giving me a hard time. Use binance.

Choose another option. 13Nov21: Poor customer service, low flexibility, locked funds! I am unable to transfer my coin to a wallet for >7 days. I think eToro is not providing reasonable access to my funds, and maybe they have a liquidity problem. BEWARE!! I think this company doesn’t actually hold coin for you! Risk to lose you money in the “account.” 30Nov2021: I have updated my rating to one star. I still cannot resolve my technical transfer issue, and now eToro locked my account. They call it security, but they are just locking up the BTC and managing the liquidity.

Buggy App. There’s one thing a dislike and that’s unwanted notifications. I get price volatility notifications even though I turned it off. And when I go into the app to clear to it, it won’t turn off. I just turned off notifications on my phone. Hopefully nothing major happens to my account. Another thing. Every time i log onto the app they show my gains and asks if I want to share or deposit more money. That’s annoying. I’m definitely making money through this app so I’ll put up with it for now.

After submitting all my documents for verification, and been approved by eToro as a verified user, I stayed watching how the news goes with cryptocurrencies, how was the environment with this services and taking my time to invest if I get enough good feeling. Unfortunately... Today, I just made a comment in someone’s post about the lowest value BTC could get (as it’s dropping) and few hours later, eToro team blocked my account with no notice. This action makes me thing this people are not serious, and I’m glad I didn’t fund any money. App Store should ban this people as also there are many complains into the app and in the reviews. Avoid eToro!

Opinion: stay away.. My experience: buyer beware. I won’t use them again. I have accounts w RH, CB, and a few others. Avoid eToro. I “made money”… here’s what happened to me. I deposited money using a bank account with the same name (obv mine). They sent me a note the next day that the account was blocked for not having the same name (it’s literally EXACTLY the same name). Now I can’t withdraw that money (even to a different account) because they blocked the deposit account and require you to use the same account you deposited to, to withdraw. So the money I made is 100 inaccessible. No customer service.

Get In... So far, the experience has been great. Plenty of options for investing as well as the copy feature making opportunities to grow money. Also, having the ability to protect funds makes this platform very user friendly. “Earn while you learn”....
