good game idea, bad execution. honestly, the game could be fun, but the ads are way too much. i’m only on level 9 and the words already get ridiculously hard. i get that it’s supposed to train your brain and help you learn new vocab, but there’s no feature that actually shows you what the words mean. it gets frustrating when i’m just trying to relax and suddenly i’m stuck with 10+ words i’ve never even heard of. it doesn’t feel fair for people who aren’t super into the dictionary or already know advanced vocabulary. it just ends up feeling stressful instead of fun.

Weak associations, way too many ads. Some of the connections are smart, but some make no sense (like putting 'garlands' in a category of Illumination -- a garland is made from flowers and leaves and does not light up). We enjoyed this for a few days until we started seeing duplicate levels, and definitely way too many ads. I'm deleting this one.

Fun Brain Game. This game is not only fun but it is helping my brain. Due to some health issues, most days I have brain fog and often forget words. Since playing this game, I am having less issues with forgetting words.

Actually pretty good. I love this game it’s actually pretty fun and the ads aren’t terrible but I barely get them u don’t have to pay and I dunno bout the WiFi but it’s a really good game 🤗

Too many ads. Game is fine, perfectly fun etc. Puzzles really get your brain working and its great. Then after the third level its an ad every single time. Really get you hooked then pull the rug out from you. Honestly I might have considered paying to remove all the ads but its $3 for a single week. I’m out

Ads ruined it. I really loved the game & the look of it but only being able to get rid of ads through a weekly subscription is insane. Especially when you have banner ads across the bottom at all times in addition to constant pop up ads. Just not worth it.

Weak Associations. I play NYT connections every day and ace it 95% of the time. So I am pretty good at associations. However, the associations in this game are mostly extremely weak, making it very difficult. As others have said, you end up having to take hints by watching ads over and over and over again. It gets extremely frustrating. I have played this game a while moving past level 70, but will probably delete the game due to the extreme difficulty.

Different. This is a different game than advertised and as a previous reviewer wrote, the matches are weak. I also realized that when I do make correct matches the game indicate that they are not correct until after I looked at several ads and suddenly those matches are correct. This game is more frustrating than relaxing. I will be deleting it.

Disappointed and. Before I downloaded game I watched a different game apparently cause it had colored markers in game to highlight the words and this is just like others that misled me . There r no highlighters and I’m disappointed. A lot of adds aren’t what they appear as and that is wrong. So yeah your game is ok but it would be a+ if we could us highlighters to move them! Just suggestion

Outright Predatory. This app abuses ads like I’ve never seen. There is also no permanent paid option to disable them. Instead, you have to pay a whopping $3 just to disable them FOR A SINGLE WEEK. This is the app for you if you enjoy getting bombarded with countless, long, difficult to exit ads.

Fun but glitches. Fun game but it will randomly glitch. When I try to open the app, most of the time it will give an error message and kick me out.

Ad hungry.. I have never seen an add in the middle of a level before this. What the heck do you mean “ad break”?? I’m not even done with the level yet! You can’t wait however long it takes me to give me an ad after? Unbelievable. And somehow, it heats up my phone more than a 7GB game with a million different components.

Names. When have all four, you don’t have time to see what the name of the category. It changes or shows too fast. A few remain.

Not what I expected. I only downloaded this because I seen an ad. However, the ad shows a different game than what I downloaded here. Also, there are a major number of ads. I deleted it

Fun Game but too many ads. I like this game, but there are way too many ads. Also, you can pay $2.99 for one week with no ads, which is annoying and expensive.

Idea. Just an idea. When you make a match and they condense to a single tile, you should have some way to identify what that tile represents the pictures do not always give a true depiction of what is needed for the match otherwise I really like the game

Ads and Crashing. Nice game but there are way too many ads! A few here and there to “keep the game free” I could understand but after every level and right in the middle of a level is extreme. Also, the game will crash and close with no warning.

Glitchy. This game is fun but it freezes constantly. I can’t even switch screens to close it out. Very frustrating and it makes it so difficult to play.

Associations - Color-wood Games. This game is real relaxing and it keeps you thinking positive and alert.

$156 per year. I really liked the game, but there are ads before the game, partway through the game, and after the game before you can move onto the next level. You have the option to pay $2.99 EVERY 7 DAYS to remove the ads, which would add up to $156 per year. I’m sure there are other similar games available. Uninstalled at level 10.

So good. I am so happy that I got this game it is fun worth my time I’ve been looking at this game at a certain game camisole!!!!❤️‍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

A shame (for players). The game is good. Fun and makes you think. But, ads after a game are OK. However, just when you get on the roll with this game, they give you what they call Ad Breaks!!! I’m sure they get what they want out of it…revenue from the Ads, but they must realize that since you can't earn rewards for hints and you have to buy them, and you have all the Ads, that people won’t stick with the game. I got to level 11 and now goodbye!

Game froze my phone !. Game is not bad though it gets semi repetitive and they kind of reach with the word connections. They over do it with ads and the higher levels you get the more it freezes your phone my phone was frozen for 30 minutes straight couldn’t shut it down or anything so for now I’m just deleting the app at level 139

Keeps shutting down. I am beginning to enjoy the game. I have to google lots of things on the harder boards but I’m learning a lot. The app continually shuts down in the middle of a game for no apparent reason. I hope the glitch is fixed. It’s not my internet connection. None of my other apps shutdown like this one.

Slow Down!. Too many ads and also, s sometimes I want to see the title of the association created. There have been so many times that I finish a board and it closes out without me, even knowing what I did or how I even won the game. I should be able to click on previous levels and just read the board to see the different words and how they are associated with the title not just simply move onto the next board.

Frustrating. No way to earn any bonuses. Can not tell what a lot of the pictures represent. Too many ads. Game itself is fun, but I’m guessing I’ll delete the app in a few days (just downloaded yesterday).

No real connection. The game could be fun if you got all the words at once to try and make sense of them but then there is no logic to the grouped words! That’s my thoughts at level 7 anyhow!

Frustrating. I like challenging games but this one is actually annoying and frustrating. Many associations do not make any sense. You have to think the same way as the creators in order to figure out weird associations but other wise, you cannot use common sense. This game can be better but right now I deleted it because it makes me feeling angry rather than having fun.

Could be better. There is no way to earn hints and even if you watch videos you can only accumulate 1 hint unless you buy hints. Annoying.

Ad at Mid Level. You get an ad in the middle of the level, which breaks your line of thought and concentration. Why can’t you wait? Then I go to buy the option of no ads and it tells me is only for 7 days. Are you crazy? This game went to the trash can.

Please make a paid option. I really enjoy the game except for the ads. They make me not want to play the game. I am looking for other games like this without ads. I would happily pay for a version that removes ads permanently.

Almost perfect game. I love this game but the number of ads and the duration of the ads is ridiculous! In addition, the cost to remove the ads is outrageous so there you are. Changing my review. Really enjoyed the game until level 200 or so when the words had basically nothing to do with each other. You really screwed up a good game 😡 I’ll be removing it from my phone

Great game!. I love the calming music and the gameplay is great. Came across an ad for it playing another game and had to see what it was about not disappointed.

Overly frustrated. I like the game and seem to be doing well, but every time I’m in the middle of playing, the game just shuts down. It’s like it senses that I am doing really well and doesn’t want me to play anymore. Seriously frustrated and over the interruptions.

Frustrating!. The game started out great! However, it shuts down in the middle of me playing or right after I have to watch an ad to get help (lightbulb icon). Addictive. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this game in the beginning and not only has it been challenging, but it has increased my vocabulary and every time I said that’s I’m not playing another game. I play another game.

Good, not great.. This game could be fantastic, except for the number of ads and the high cost to have no ads, and also several times I’m positive I got the words correct but it wasn’t until I watched an ad that it recognised that I got it right.

Ads Drive Me Crazy. I want to give this 5 stars for the challenge, but the ads are seriously annoying. I don’t mind ads for hints, but there are too many within the game. It would be good to be able to play it without wi-fi.

Money grab. Only a 3 star as the app is all a money grab. You don’t earn any in-game coins for hints or anything you can only watch ads or pay. To remove ads is also only weekly $5. Who pays a subscription on a mobile app for no ads? Scammy cash grab! Game could have been long term fun but not when it’s all a cash grab like this

No viable ad free option. The game play is excellent but there is no viable ad free option. I would pay for permanently remove ads but the only ad free option is to pay for no ads for 7 days. I’m not going to pay for that over and over again. The ads are not only in between levels they actually interrupt you in a level. This is beyond infuriating.

Freezes. Would be a great game if it didnt have to be restarted after every level Keeps freezing

Glitching. This game kicks you out randomly, freezes,I enjoy it but wish they would fix the bugs.

Level 133 Messed up. Every time I start this level the words are different, there are gaps, make a match & one tile stays tan colored. Frustrating! Before this level it was ok.

Beyond Frustrating…Deleted. Don’t bother. The only mental workout you’ll get from this app is trying to figure out why it doesn’t work…even after paying to remove the ridiculous number of ads it forces you to watch.

Could be a LOT better. The game isn’t bad but it’s frustrating to get “ad breaks” in the middle of the game. Sometime 2 or 3 per game then have to watch another one before you start the next sound. Don’t waste your Tim. Find another similar game.

Not making any sense. Some of the words that end up connecting to each other makes no sense at all! Plus some words that are needed do not show up till 5 pages later. There is also no idea of what category you are searching for. Ended up being more aggravating than anything else. A lot of these associations do not even relate to the ended up categorizing item.

Some words are misspelled categories. Don’t make sense.. Not a bad attempt. But you can definitely tell this is made outside of the US. Sometimes it’s very basic but then sometimes it doesn’t make sense at all and the further you go up the levels the more ridiculous the categories are. Way too many commercials.

Ads in middle of the game. I completely understand there being ads. But ads to have ads just interrupt the current board I’m playing is stupid. Ads can come in between game boards. If it keeps up I will delete the game. To many other games I can play with ads that don’t disrupt the game play.

A road trip Fun game. It’s a very fun colorful game that you can play on a long road trip that will keep my kids occupied. It’s a good learning game for my kids and other kids …

Good game, but….. Recently discovered this game. Fun to play until it just became a source of frustration. SOOOOOOO many ads. Mid-game break ad, ad after every completed game. Need help with a clue? Pass on this one.. This game is one of the worst games I’ve ever installed. I like puzzle and word games in general but this one wasn’t fun and some of the associations are real head-scratchers. Some puzzles require hints because the associations are such a stretch. If you like truly smart games skip this one.

Great game but price to remove ads is ridiculous.. You have to pay three dollars a week to remove ads! The game is fantastic. Not good. I downloaded this to earn in Copper. Too many ads before, after and during game. Then it locked up, it was so bad I couldn’t even close the game and it shut my phone off so I had to log back in. I like the game but not enough for this and minimal money!

Glitch. There’s been multiple times where it doesn’t fill in one of the tile spaces so it is blank and you are unable to finish the level. Sometimes I can start the level over and then it’ll fix itself but currently I’m on a level that there is no way to complete it. Glitches need to be fixed.

Gd game but…. I love this game. It is total BS that the ads only stop after I pay $2.99 per WEEK🤬!!! Per month would be okay. A one time payment even, but the choice to watch 50 ads per day or pay $3 a week is BS. I’d rather not play.

Actually pretty good. I love this game it’s actually pretty fun and the ads aren’t terrible but I barely get them u don’t have to pay and I dunno bout the WiFi but it’s a really good game 🤗

good game idea, bad execution. honestly, the game could be fun, but the ads are way too much. i’m only on level 9 and the words already get ridiculously hard. i get that it’s supposed to train your brain and help you learn new vocab, but there’s no feature that actually shows you what the words mean. it gets frustrating when i’m just trying to relax and suddenly i’m stuck with 10+ words i’ve never even heard of. it doesn’t feel fair for people who aren’t super into the dictionary or already know advanced vocabulary. it just ends up feeling stressful instead of fun.

Great game. I love this game it’s relaxing & makes you think a little bit. The only thing I think that would make this game better is if the print was larger or in darker colors maybe

Idea. Just an idea. When you make a match and they condense to a single tile, you should have some way to identify what that tile represents the pictures do not always give a true depiction of what is needed for the match otherwise I really like the game

Ads 2. I agree with Disappointedmn, ads interrupting the play of a level is so frustrating. I’m ok with an ad before and after a level but during is greedy. It’s a good challenging game although the ads wreck the play.

A Brain Workout. All for games that make you think and the colors are a plus. I like how some of the words change into photo association.

App freezes my phone. I like the concept of this game but I can’t finish a round without it freezing my entire phone. Can’t swipe up to get out of the app without turning off the screen (which still takes 5-10 seconds to respond). Then I can open the lock screen and swipe out of the app.

Fun game but crashes out constantly. Love this game so much. The concept is a lot of fun. But every 1.5 puzzles the stupid thing freezes my phone and I have to force restart to get out of the game. I play games that are way harder on my system without that kind of issue. It’s really frustrating.

Game freezes phone. I love the game itself but will no longer play it because it freezes my phone. I then have to try to restart my phone and sometimes this takes quite a bit of time. There are also too many ads that you have to watch to play one game.

ADS ADS ADS ADS. this is the first review for an app i’ve ever done and i can’t believe it’s to give a 1 star. :/ the app is great, amazing even! but there’s an add literally every 30 seconds. there’s multiple ads during the level, after the level, and to get hints (the last is the only one i understand) but there is no reason there should be so many ads.

Love it but…. I love this game but every so often it hard locks everything for several minutes where I can’t even turn off the phone. Fix that and it’s a 5 star app for sure.
