Terrible slow. Seriously? Wtaf? Why does it have to be this slow. Like I play I game, I don’t care about the boosters don’t always zoom in on them, just let me take my shot. If my opponent has one move left and I already lost, I’m just gonna restart the app because it is much faster then waiting it out, because your animations are extremely slow. After a game is over why do I have to wait so many seconds to start a new game? Why do you waste my time? Stop it, let me decide what I want to see and what not. A game do not need to be this long you can easily cut of minutes of each games, please do an actual job of making this game work. I don’t care about all the bug and glitches just the fact you are wasting so much time with nonsense. When will you fix this?

Nice Gameplay. The graphics are sweet, the gameplay is great, but not being able to see your opponent’s castle is just bizarrely difficult on how to see where you’re going to strike? Generally speaking it seems like a really excellent game but again trying to aim is nearly pure guesswork. I might understand the reasoning if this was a Portrait only game but considering this is actually a Landscape only game I am completely confused as to why the developers designed it so players have to guess where their weapons will actually strike the opponent’s castle. Sure you can basically tell that you’re most likely to hit the castle but forget about trying to strike a specific location.

Best game in a while. I don’t write reviews, but this is good. Enough said or no? Ok, well it’s entertaining in multiple ways. The upgrades come quickly and even ads aren’t too bothersome. Gameplay is ever changing with new opponents each time. The only draw back is that I want more… more characters. New characters would be awesome! You can purchase a few but even those haven’t changed much. I’m sure these guys can come up with some new ideas on how to attack the castle with something explosive

Good but money hungry. Game overall is pretty fun! Good concept, nice graphics, plays well. Resource requisition vs upgrade demands pretty even. I enjoy playing it. The bad part is be prepared to be harassed incessantly in game for money. Literally every lost battle prompts you to buy resource pack. As free massively overpriced $10 a week…… a week! Had tournament wide but pretty much unwinnable due to hackers or something within minutes of one starting top people already had over 100 victories. Mind you each match probably take 3-5 minutes to play. No way to contact developers in game to even bring such things up. But again overall those issues haven’t stopped me from playing and still enjoy it!

So many bots.. The game is great, well polished, and playable for free which is great. But I’m not even sure if the game is genuinely PvP or just fighting bots. The game never say it has you fighting bots, it always presents them as real players, and they use emotes like regular players would, have realistic usernames, etc. Fortunately every occasionally they get locked in a cycle where their ai messes up and fires the same attack over and over again right above you, missing the same shot four times in a row but never adjusting their aim. It’s 100% bot, no denying it, and has me questioning how often you play bots bother real people. I’d estimate over half the players you play against aren’t real, which is a real shame because it really makes the game significantly less fun to play.

Great concept. I love this game and have played it for hours in the last few weeks, winning the weekly #1 spot. It’s a simple setup but lots of replayability. You can build, reinforce, and expand your mobile castle. You also receive options for new wheels, defenses, and offensive weapons. Multiple characters to choose from, that you upgrade as you win more loot. Better characters are available at moderate pricing. And no popup ads! Some things I’d like to see fixed: This game has upgraded twice recently with no in-game communication. The most recent happened today, with an expansion of more characters inside your castle and more power-ups, and no notes anywhere - even on the app page here on Apple. Update notes would definitely be appreciated. Another issue is the change in how characters are upgraded. Before, it happened immediately if you had the money. Now you can only upgrade 4 at a time, and it takes hours to upgrade. Since this change, I see no use for the wildcards, which used to substitute money if you were a little short. Again, COMMUNICATION! The last request is the ability to see your opponent’s setup and have the ability to make changes to your basic setup. An in-game surrender might be nice too, instead of being forced to play out a no-win scenario.

Hate the update. They completely nerfed Sunray and all units, they barely do any damage now. Before units did a lot of damage but now they do barely anything. Everyone can make their team to their liking and the balance of the game hung on to who you chose and how accurate your shots were, and now it just takes too long to finish a game. Not a fan of the update… my score is half a star but of course you can’t do that. I gave a 5 star review in the hopes they actually publish it so people can see

Fun game. This is a good time killer. I like that it isn’t so over run with ads that you just have to delete it. The opponents are bots and if you close out the game too soon after winning you take a loss. I win most games and haven’t had to go pay-to-win. Just have to figure out how to use the characters. Is why I’m writing this review actually because I googled which characters are best for what and couldn’t find anything because it has the same name as a different game. Was hoping to find some hints in the comments. Update: Game was a lot of fun, but now that I am in the final arena I’ve run into some glitches that are making it hard to play. Freezes during battles, my now fully upgraded castle getting 1 shot and blowing up. Just not exactly what you would hope for. Update 2: Hate getting my whole castle destroyed with 1 hit over and over. Not fun at all.

Make Up Your Minds!. First the app is CLEARLY pay to win. You run into someone that has spent $10+ and it was an automatic win although you did have some characters that were pretty powerful without paying. Well after the most recent update, they’ve nerfed EVERYBODY. I understand lowering the power ability of some of the overpowered characters, but now the games are rather long, it seems like you hardly do damage to the actual castles so now you’re hunting hoping you can kill enough characters or hoping you can edge out the other player by doing 1% extra damage near the end. Wish they’d make up their minds on this power issue.

Great Game. This game is great once you spend some time refining strategies. Give it some time and it will come to you. I lost a lot when I first started playing, and thought it was because I didn’t purchase stronger fighters, but I am now winning most of my matches. The only problem I am having is when my opponent quits in the middle of a match, the game closes (or appears to close because is is still running on my phone) and when I open it back up, I am credited with a loss and loss 100 points. This has happened to me quite a bit, especially when I am winning the match. This really needs to be fixed.

Fun, but definitely pay-to-win. I’m not the type to make in-app purchases, so once I started reaching players that have premium characters, the difficulty ramped up. Some bugs are more annoying than others. i.e. sometimes, if you’re too far from your enemy’s castle, a power-up zone might spawn outside of the playable area. That’s not as annoying as the “foundations” that you can apply to your castle needing to be unlocked again if you accidentally remove it from your castle (the 2nd one costing 37,500 gold and 15,000 wood [that takes a long time, if you don’t buy it 🙄]). It’s pretty fun, mindless entertainment, and I’d give more stars, if it didn’t just take away the thing that I just earned 20 minutes prior.

Great game, constantly improving. I’m revising my review, as the game has gotten significantly better. The devs are investing a lot in improvements. The gameplay is extremely fun and addictive. It doesn’t hit you with a lot of ads, which is good. It constantly bugs you to make purchases. Even when you’ve made a few already. And players who have purchased advanced characters have an advantage, although less so than previous. The mechanics have been balanced and I really really enjoy this game. A+

New Name, A lot of Bugs. Though I have enjoyed the game, since changing the name there have been a lot of bugs that are frustrating and may cause me to leave. The biggest is that when upgrading the castle the countdown clock pauses when not actively in the game or worse when battling. During one battle I timed, the battle start to finish with ads was 7 minutes, but the countdown for the upgrade only went down 7 seconds. Not a big fan of pay to play but understand, they want to make money and if you want to be competitive, you pay sometimes. The other big bug is the split laser staying visible after use. Unfortunately, there is no way to report in the application

I mean the ads are false advertising. Why I played this game I was very certain this was going to be like one of those false ad games. Oh look at me play me, even though that won’t be true to my surprise. It is what it is, but it is a pay to win game mostly you can get to winning, but it’s going to be longer and harder to do It Free Play (not p2w) But it’s fun. I will give her that and I wanna say to the devs thank you for not having false advertising. That’s a huge one. It would’ve been four stars if it was false advertising or less but five stars were actually being what it says so yes fun but it’s hard

Don’t download. Every update gets worse and worse, don’t launch them if they don’t work! I built up one unit then with latest update he lost a about 80% of his strength. You spend money and time then they just remove it with one update…deleting it today. They also took your only great free unit, sunray, and took away all his power. So if you don’t pay to play in upper levels you will not win now. Sunray was the only free unit that could compete against the 3-4 purchased units and not always could win. Sunray should have kept his power but to many skilled players that were not paying were winning with sunray….i will be deleting all of my VooDoo apps. Horrible they can take away something you spent months to build yet all the paid units still retain the same power and no way you can now beat those paid players. Update 6/1/26 these leaderboards are totally fake on the weekly challenge. The guy in 1st right now has 1/5 of the time played, only 5 win streak compared to my 115 and only 300 wins vs 1800 on mine yet he leads me on the first day by double the wins!

Nice Game! Just something else…. I find this game fun! It just needs a bit more… “creativity”. And I mean *actual* artwork done by *real* humans. You might already know that nobody likes AI-generated slop. Except for 2nd graders, of course. But you do know SOME mature people are playing this, and might not like the AI work. I’ve played one of your games before, most likely the one where you swallow up cities with a hole about six years ago. Do you want to know what I saw in that game? Real creativity. Looked fun and addictive. Nostalgic too. But now, what do I see in Voodoo games nowadays? Either cash-grab or no-work-put games. You most likely turned that city-eating hole game into AI-generated art slop. Even if you’re a really big game studio, you don’t have to rush. I may suggest taking your time. But yeah, this is a… decent game. Like I said before, “needs some creativity”. If you want more support to your games, I’d HIGHLY recommend listening to your players. Not all of your players are mindless toddlers.

Real Or Bots?. Battles you face in this 1V1 Showdown is very BOT Heavy. You will notice patterns how the Bots “Cycle” Through there (4-Character) Rotation. The way the gameplay plays is very Repetitive, against AI-Bots, they rock slightly Back & Forth Like a Swinging Motion in the Gameplay. Example: If i am getting hammered repeatedly in the same spot i would relocate my (Base/Ship) to Better proximity to gain Ground/ Defend the Angle of incoming-Damage. There are no recent battles to review or any Past/Current View of matches with the enemies profile. (Hence) Bot oriented. After a Loss you are usually Advertised with a “Loss-Bundle” Purchase Option. The Higher rank you climb the more Annoying the gameplay gets. Im currently around 3,600 Trophies. Out of 200 Games i have played. (Each Game estimates to about 3-5 Minutes) i have Interacted with roughly 10-15 Games being Real Players. (judging by the different mechanics used and playstyle) Don’t WASTE your money. Enjoyable yes, not popular enough to sustain a notable 1v1. Which i understand why bots are filled. Better to just open to a (Non-Ranked) Match. It would be more broad and have a higher chance to actually play someone REAL. Example: trophy level 1,000 vs 3,000 Find me someone real, despite the trophy count being a reference point for Automatic gameplay against Garbage Bots. 2 Stars. ✅

Fun game but pay to play. This has been an enjoyable online game where you get to play others online to destroy their castle. There is minimal advertisement video intertwined in the app. Which is uncommon now a days with every game have an ad every few turns. Why I didn’t give the game a 5 star review is the pay to win aspect. They charge a significant price to buy better characters for your army. These purchased characters are significantly better compared to the free to play characters. Enjoy!

Exactly what it says it is!. I downloaded this game from an add expecting it to be like so many others that show one game, but turn out to be completely different when you actually download them. THIS GAME IS NOT LIKE THAT! You get EXACTLY the gameplay that you see in the ads. I also appreciate that in game ads are optional, not forced. If you want to watch an ad for free rewards, you can, but you don’t have to. I would also say that the game is very balanced between skill and “pay to win”. I thoroughly enjoy this game and look forward to playing it in my free time.

Great game but... It’s a great game, I enjoy playing it daily. Have probably almost 60 hours game play. I only have one complaint really. I haven’t bought any characters, I just play with the one you get over the game. But there is one character in the game that is too powerful, it’s the bug player, I can spend $10 , and get this character. It’s so cheap, as in all the shot has to do is touch your castle, the bugs go and kill your guys. It actually makes the game, not want to be played, when u come across a player that has one. All they have to do is shoot and there is a guarantee, u will lose some characters,

Great. Great game. Haven’t enjoyed anything this much since clash of clans Loooks like I never sent the above. While a fun game further into it it bugs up. There’s one glaring redraw problem and a couple other items here and there. On AA game play side, there’s a purple shield players can add as a defense. At the point I’m at nearly everyone you face has it most likely purchased. When I’m attacking 90% of the time I can’t see where it is. If you hit it your shots are returned to you. Fairly often I do more damage to myself because I’m dhooting something I can’t see. So the opponent is advantaged just based on a feature they have not on skill. Not something I like in games and once I see that I’m unlikely to spend on the game.

It took a turn for the worse.. Until yesterday, the only timed upgrade was to your castle. Each upgrade costed a certain amount of gold and wood, which you collect by plane. And each upgrade took a certain amount of time, with better upgrades taking hours. Of course you could pay some gems which you would need to pay actual money for and you could skip the upgrade time. The nice thing was when you went to upgrade a unit there was only a gold cost. You paid the gold. Your unit upgraded so long as you had enough cards to do so. Yesterday they added a training timer to whichever unit you wanted to upgrade, and just like a castle, the higher you level up your unit, the longer the training. Unless, as you can probably guess, you want to purchase gems and skip the upgrade timing. One good thing is that the game does not force you to watch ads, and when you there is no energy cost, you can battle as much as you want. For now. I have a feeling that in the near future there’s going to be an energy meter and once it’s gone, you’ll have to pay to play more or you’re gonna have to wait. I hate it when good games start to nickel dime players to death but unfortunately, I think that’s where this one is headed.

New update has major glitches. Hey I’ve tried on the app to reach out and on app support but can’t seem to find anyone directly to message or a direct link to message about the issues with the new update! So I’ll write it here maybe someone will take a look! Game was fine before until the new update! I’m not getting proper coins from my chests because it’s not allowing me to reload my chests. Gameplay sometimes overlap between opponents while active gameplay, like as an overall playing for about a few weeks now already spent over $100 so far and yet all these glitches. Why did you take away the classification of the units? Like which speciality? Also the same way you had a preview for the paid units you should have previews for every unit. Lastly man the wood logs! Cmon man make it a little easier to get more wood logs please. Other than that it is a fun game to pass the time but please fix the glitches!

Crashes when it finds an app on ent and you lose automatically. I will update my rating to 4 or 5 stars once you fix the crashing of the app right after it finds an opponent. This has happened to me 3 times in the last 2 days since the new update. And it is usually after I have won 8 or 9 battles in a row and going for the 10 in a row daily quest so it resets me to zero and I am unable to win that task even though I only needed 1 or 2 more wins. I have other games that when that happens it pauses the match and tells the other opponent trying to reconnect and then restarts the app on my end, reconnects with the battle instead of just scoring a loss for me when it was the app crashing. At the very least if the app crashes don’t count that as a loss. If it worked like that it would be a very fun game, but like this it is frustrating!

Super fun game. Comes with issues.. It is a fun game, easy to pass the time with. However, the whole “this many wins until you reset” is dumb. Takes away from my desire to play the game. You can only get so many wins until you get a “reset” timer, and then when that timers up, you can win more games. It makes it way too hard to actually progress, since I wanna be able to play as much as I want whenever I do have the free time. Needs to be removed. If they don’t wanna remove the timer, at least change it. Make a competitive game mode. Add the timer to that. Leave the normal, relaxed, non-competitive mode without a timer.

Too many ads. This is a fun game but it’s hard to advance without watching a lot of ads if you don’t want to pay to play. It wouldn’t be so bad if they had 30 seconds ads but no this game has half their ads about a minute and 30 seconds long which is an absolute joke and waste of time. Their ads repeat 3xs then when you think the ad is finally finished and press the X to close it, your taken to a secondary screen where have to wait and additional 5 seconds and THEN when you think the ad is again finally finished, your taken to a third screen where you have to wait an additional 3 seconds before you can close and finally be free of that extremely long stupid ad. Oh did I mention that they have an in app purchase option to remove ads for $9.99 for 7 days. This game is designed to break you if you did intend on spending on it.

Incredible concept ruined by a greedy corporation. The ONLY reason Castle Clashers gets two stars is because of how much I like the concept and the fact that the ads within the game are not too intrusive. VooDoo is a demon when it comes to pumping out low quality, ad infested, horrible games but I guess they partnered with an actual competent studio. Alas, it was not enough to save this poor game. The art looks like it was drawn by middle schoolers doodling in notebooks, the game is extremely pay to win (classic for games developed/published by VooDoo), the fake leaderboard and fake online matches. This game mixes C.A.T.S. And a classic tower defense game together which I find to be super cool and unique! But until a real game studio comes in and does this concept TRUE justice, this will stay here as a dark void of boredom and trickery for people who download it thinking it’s cool, only to delete it within 30 minutes.

The gem in a trash heap. First off I wanna say that the fact this game has literally NO ads unless you want to watch one (for extra rewards) just makes this game a hundred times better than the other games that are just 95% ads and 5% gameplay not to mention the promotion Isnt misleading and the actual game is pretty entertaining my only problem is I feel the rewards for winning a match aren’t enough it takes a decent amount of the wood currency to upgrade and I’m not saying double the rewards I’m saying that a small buff would be nice something like 5-10 more for each round would be nice and make it easier to progress still I understand that it could mess with the progression of the game making it boring.

Very fun… one issue though. So I got this game last week and it has to be one of my favorites in a long time. However there is one issue I have. So every now and then during a battle you will get a zone that spawns on your castle that prevents you from attacking… unless you move off it. I cant tell you how many times Ive tried moving off it for it to not work and waste a turn, but the opponent does so and gets off… and we have the same treads. Hopefully the developers see this and look into it because it has caused me to lose the match even though I was in the lead (and other times when I was losing it still did it).

Great but…. The last round of each match seems very unfair. I literally tied with someone at 12% health at the end of the match and somehow he wins even though I had more units alive. Also when the last round comes around it only allows one person to attack before the match is over which is unfair tbh. Also the ones that spends money on high end characters are usually going to win. Especially the character with the drone that shoots a darn laser. If you wanna always win and be OP… spend your hard earned money. Otherwise it’s a good game. Also the ice cannon is too OP.. not only does it attack frequently it does too much damage simultaneously. Again Great game but it’s seriously in need of some balancing.

No ADs fee. I absolutely love this game and genuinely enjoy playing it. The gameplay is fun, engaging, and keeps me coming back every day. However, there is one major issue that has me considering deleting the app: the ad-free pricing. Charging $9.99 for only 7 days without ads feels excessive. That’s roughly $40 per month just to remove advertisements, which is far more expensive than most apps offer. Many other games provide a one-time purchase option to remove ads permanently, or at least offer monthly and quarterly subscription plans at a reasonable price. I wouldn’t mind paying $9.99 for a month of ad-free gameplay, or even purchasing a 3-month package, but paying that amount every week simply doesn’t feel fair or sustainable. This is honestly the only downside to an otherwise fantastic game. I hope the developers will consider revising the pricing structure and offering more affordable ad-free options in the future. If they do, I would happily continue supporting and playing the game.

Sweet game. Just started this game a week ago today… no money spent yet… 227 battles 164 wins 71 loses… I got 1st in the tournament.. awesome!!… 16 hour play time… I absolutely am addicted… I just hope there will be some updates in the future… Maybe consider, adding where you can the other players info/stats.. also a way to see what your RANKED place is in the world.. I’m not sure how all of that works exactly… also possibly add a way to send emotes to the other player while you are battling… or a way to message players… I’ve had some really close battles and saw the way they used their hero’s to win… would be cool to say GGs or awesome game.. etc… amazing game!! 🙂👍 thank you!!

Crash Castles Better Name. I am actually surprised that there are a lot of ghost reviews. This game crashes every 3 to 5 matches. that rating should not be a 4.7, but should be in the 3.0‘s range. The game crashes every three levels or every three matches, it crashes like 40 to 60 times a day. You lose your progress on the map and it’s one of the worst game with crushing I’ve ever seen. The winning streaks are not correct because of this issue. It resets your win streak when the game crashes. I have 100’s of matches in a row that I have won. My win streak is only 13 and I have won 350+ matches and only lost 20 matches so far. The name for the game should be Game Crasher instead of Castle Busters. SMH

Fun and fair with ads. I like that you play against real players. The game is very fair with upgrades. Short ads if you need to go that route. The different characters are fun with variety. One does have to strategize to win, luck and skill does matter. Sound effects and music are nice. I play this game on my iPhone and iPad. For me it does crash a lot on my iPad, I blame apple more than the developers. If you do crash it counts as a loss, only fair because of rage quitting. Only thing I would ask developers is , are there any plans for having clans. Something like 50 on a team. Battling other clans directly once or twice a week. A review by a 60 year old gamer for life.

Playing actual people or Computer?. I’ve played around 210 games I am guessing, and have won 200 matches. It is usually not because I am ‘good’ at the game, but the opponent just does not use their units correctly. The opponents can easily win multiple times, but either miss my castle completely, or just use the incorrect unit to destroy the castle. It’s at the point where I just don’t think I am playing a human being. I have also never played against an opponent with less trophies than I do, insinuating that they would be more powerful than I am. Could be wrong, but it is starting to feel strange.

Improvements. Been playing for a few weeks now. Would be nice if there was a practice/training arena to use new units to see how to use them without just tossing them in to waste a few turns. Also would be nice if there were guilds to join or party’s whatever you want to call them with team events and so on. Sorta feel like I just play bots. Other games if players are not on it would say try again later. Keep trying waiting for others to join. Here there is always an opponent which is fine but feels like bots with a few players sprinkled in.

Exactly as advertised. Yes, what you see is exactly what you get. There is no bait and switch BS here. You see pics and vids of castles fighting and that is it. No base building after a couple of battles with a bunch of AI generated characters and dialogue, no raids, no clans, no garbage. There is also no health point or energy garbage. Play as much as you like even after losing several times. There is no difficulty spike mechanic. You are consistently matched with players of similar strength. No hitting the wall like other games that skill-lock you from making progress by matching you with players well above your level. It has the usual in game purchasing resources or reducing build times, and options to watch adds for similar buffs, but that is in every mobile game (and AAA games). But it isn’t intrusive and always optional. The ad watching is actually rewarding and I found myself using it often because it gives legitimately good benefits, unlike other games with BS ads. I am enjoying the game quite a bit and recommend you check it out. No BS, no fluff, just gameplay.

Meh!. I hastily wrote an initial review, so here it is after an additional few weeks. This is actually fun except for one blaring fault. Why do cheap people like me have to play those who buy all of their characters? Let’s be honest, the laser guy can destroy all units in a few rounds. I have quit wasting my time and close the app whenever I fight the cheaters. Why can’t they work for their wins like the rest of us poor broke people? And if they wanna cheat, have them play each other. My relationship with this game depends on how often I get paired with those Castle Buster snobs with all of their paid for characters. You should fix this. Or maybe you only want those who pay cash? Thankfully if I quit, I don’t have to watch anymore stupid ads to trim 50 hours off of a castle upgrade or unit upgrade. But know this, I will quit. And when the cheaters have nobody to crush and nobody is watching ads, there goes your profits.

Best phone game. Been playing the game on my downtime so much 😅. Never been this into a game for a long time. Hopefully more new characters and the laser guy has a glitch sometimes. Ohhh and hope you guys can make the castle bigger. Ohh. And maybe put more rounds and maybe an option to fill up all the slots in the castle. P.S idk if it’s the update but the sound quality is kind of weird. I put music on and. I hear it on the bottom part. But when I start this game. Only hear it from the top speaker.

Recent update prevents screen rotation. Bug report? Game seems locked in one orientation now and won’t rotate when I flip my phone so the charging port faces my cable. Difficult to play now. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I enjoy this game. I hope this update dint bring unwanted “features” with it. It currently is the rare game that doesn’t use a stupid energy concept. You can play forever, just not earn certain bonuses, which I’m fine with. The ads are by choice, and I choose to watch a fair amount of them. Also really appreciate that none of the ads so far have been borderline p@rnographic, which annoys the hell out of me. Great game. Recommend it.

Update. I spent $2000 + on upgrades to the game. They did a mandatory update and eliminated all my upgrades. They refuse to answer my emails and Apple is complicit in that they refuse to do anything about it. I am currently assessing approaches to holding them legally accountable for the theft. Just so you know, if you have problems with Apple, they will allow you to speak with an Advisor and a Senior Advisor, neither of whom have any authority to do anything, and they will refuse to allow you to speak to anyone higher up the chain of command. In other words, WE don’t matter to them, they have no respect for or appreciation of their customers and we are simply the mechanism that feeds their coffers. And as for Voodoo, they will not even acknowledge efforts to contact them.

Great game, could improve. I really like this game. I’ve played it an insane amount the last couple weeks to be now in the top one percent. The physics behind the rocket launches seems pretty decent. It’s quality enough that you can become skillful at it. I like having to time shots to hit the bonuses too. The variety of characters makes it fun. however, I do notice some things that could improve. There’s a few characters you can only purchase, and they’re very dominant. Lower skilled people are beating higher skilled people just because of the characters purchased… some of which don’t appear to require as much skill. It makes the game unbalanced.

Great game, but…... This game is great, but out of the last couple updates they thought it was better to change the name and add the level next to each character…how about increasing the levels and adding more upgrades to the castle? I have so many resources that I can’t do anything with, but you want me to buy more diamonds and packs for what? To stare at! Like I said….great game and should be 5 stars, but you can upgrade fairly easily and should be much more to do with your resources. I was playing a ton in the beginning, but when I was fully upgraded it’s like who cares anymore…..nothing to work towards. Also the main reason for the rating is there is no option anywhere to contact them and give suggestions or feedback or just have any customer support.

Great game, too many crashes.. Update: Please, please please fix whatever is causing the game to crash in practically every single battle. I try it again almost every day because I really want to play, but it seems like it maybe the sound effects causing it to crash? When it crashes it often seems like it is having a memory issue right when a sound effect is playing. I really like this game. The progression is great and it doesn't bombard you with too many ads. The problems started after the last few updates. I am thinking about deleting it now. I can't get through a single battle anymore without my IPad crashing completely out of the game. I've tried everything I can think of. All my other apps are shutdown, deleted other apps to make sure I had plenty of free space, etc. It just crashes constantly. None of my other games do that.

Fun, but paid units too overpowered. The game is fun, kind of like the old-school MS-DOS game of Gorillas throwing explosive bananas across the screen. Ads are a little overkill and there’s no permanent remove ads pay option (only a temporary one), but they also aren’t required to play the basic 5 matches a day. The only part that’s not fun is playing against the pay-to-win users who buy the overpowered units that kill you in two seconds. Takes the fun out of the match and it’s a lame way to win. But I guess some people can’t handle losing so that’s why it’s overpowered like it is.

Fun but 100% Pay to win. I enjoyed the first few games. I usually buy the remove ads option from free games if I enjoy them so that the area get something. That said I would say that I would’ve ahead of the average player because I “watched all the adds”. The game definitely controls your win rate when you get to a certain point. I got matched against a waaaaaay over powered opponent and just forced closed to take a loss (you can’t surrender), but in the next match it was another overpowered opponent. Did it multiple times and it was always a way stronger opponent with the exact same castle setup (super unlikely statistically). Same thing happens when it’s your turn to win. Get matched against a reasonable opponent and if you force close you always come back to a reasonable opponent. Progress is definitely controlled.

Very addictive. Spent three days reaching the end game arena 25. Played day and night. Couldn’t stop! The game is very generous with giving you character shards for upgrade, gold and wood like wise, mostly obtainable with winning matchups. There is a lot of combinations of units to try. However, the latter units unlocked seem to be a bit trivial and don’t provide too much extra in terms of viable strategies. I hope there will be more FTP units added to the game and unique for what they bring later as the game developed. Another issue is that the game sometimes auto crashes for me and cancels my win streak and make me lose trophies, which I hope there will be a resolution! Overall, a super super fun game! Gave me lots of fun!

Scammers with no customer support tab. Made in app purchases and got charged double for all of them. First attempt said failed, so one would assume they didn’t get charged, wrong you still get charged for the failed attempt. When I tried getting their forge pass it did the same thing failed the first time but went through the second time. Al thought it was “successful” the second time, it still didn’t activate in game. There is no way in game to contact support. In the App Store all their support tab does is take you to their main website to show you a list of all of voodoos games. Don’t bother requesting a refund via apples support page. They’ll just deny your request. Even if you dispute the initial decision and type a message, it seems they likely use some useless ai to “review” your dispute to deny it regardless of what proof you may have

Truth. Game is a lot of fun, however if you’re someone like me whose doesn’t spend money on games it can be frustrating. In order to be competitive you have to spend money to get good characters. If you’re someone who doesn’t spend money and are up against someone who has bought just the laser man you’re screwed. All you need is laser man (most OP character in the game) in 3-5 shots it’s capable of eliminating your entire squad. The laser shoots for entirely too long compared to other laser characters that you don’t spend money on. But there’s a lot of potential for the game. But I’d put it in the pay to play category at the moment.

False Advertising! Not real players!. Voodoo is back at it again with a cool concept for a multiplayer game that isn’t multiplayer at all! However, they’ve tried to make it more convincing this time because it now requires a network connection and even says, “Real-Time 1v1 PvP”. The P’s in PvP stand for player! Not a bot! It’s not even real-time either! How to prove it: on your turn, watch the 30 second timer tick down a few seconds. Now leave the app for a while and come back. Your timer will still be at whatever time you left it and you can continue this “real-time” battle hours later. Neat game concept as always, but I hate being lied to. Just be honest that it’s bots, and for gosh sake, make them more difficult or add a hardcore mode for those of us who aren’t 7 years old.

It’s pretty fun. All though I enjoy the game. You just vs a bunch of bots the whole time. They make it seem like youre vs real people because of the username but I’ve been vs bots the whole time. Kinda sad tbh. All the castles are designed the same for the bots no variation at all which is another sign

To resource intensive. My iPad is only a couple years old and it really struggles to play this game. Don’t get this unless you have the latest iPad.

It’s fun. Game is fun, but lots of bots lets you win all the time. Also fix the option for placing units each position is so hard.

A great little game. Like my previous gamer I have two friends that you need to give yourself an edge. If you wanna get ahead, I did fine for the first month no upgrades. No payments was a bit of a drag but I thoroughly enjoy this game. Happy busting guys.

Castle Busters. I have been playing for a while now and the game has crashed a few times, the latest crash it started back up and is telling me my data is not matching the data on my device please select the one you would like to back up from e.g. iCloud or device, I try and select one tick the box and nothing is happening will not start back up. What a FAIL!!!

Great mix if strategy & skill. First game I’ve played in a long while that mixes up real strategy, skill and variance of troops. Really enjoying it and you don’t have to spend to keep advancing in the game. Hope it stays with all these aspects.

Tried to use app support in the App Store to contact the company, but there is no way on their website to contact them.

Fun but choppy. The developers need to seriously fix their server situation. I’ve been playing for a couple months. Without exaggeration, 3-4 times every day the game suddenly shuts down on me. If I leave my home with my phone in hand, when I return the game will not load. I have to shut my phone down and restart it first. And, I have to switch off my VPN to play, leaving my device unprotected. Doesn’t happen with any other app or website that I use daily. The worst thing is that game support is invisible so there’s no way to let epicoro know about the problem.

Pretty mediocre game. This is a pretty simple little game. But don’t expect to be playing real people! It’s all bots. And expect any strategy or nuance to enter, it’s all the same thing over and over. And the ads never stop…

Great game - found a bug their system doesn’t allow you to report.. I don’t agree that this app is Pay to Win as some reviews suggest. I’m in the top 0.43% and have yet to pay a dime. If I enjoy the game I will usually find something in the store to give the company some $$$ but I disagree that you need to pay to win. I seem to have hit a bug tho. My first character hit level 100 and since leveling up, the treasure chests are no longer spawning character cards. My only reward is coins. I still would think I would be getting character cards for everyone else to level up tho?

I myself have been playing this game for about 3 weeks. I am up in top percentage of players but won’t win against most pay to win players. Now for bugs in the game yes after about 5 matches the game will close on you so be closing it yourself every 4th match that way you don’t loose your win streak. As some goals need a win streak to claim the prize. Graphics glitch seems to be on labour keeps going on some matches and opponents castle looses it graphics. As advertised. Really fun game. Game play as advertised shocking nowadays. Not pay to play. Only reason for a 4 out of 5 rating is it does crash once in a while. If they fix that one and only bad part of this game I will gladly change my rating to 5 out of 5 stars. Truly a fun game to play.

good on start, boring in the middle. 1. 98% time you will play against Ai 1.1 some weapons are dis balanced for example air strike can dig your castle down no matter how strong your walls are upgraded 2. game freeze and lag on iphone 12 (it is rather powerful device) please fire you back end team and testers, seems they started use Ai wine coding where code is mostly slow! 3. wall upgrades gives mostly nothing 4. no filter for nationalistic and racism nicknames (check top players :) ) what is good : clear interface, most ballistics, graphic and animation.

After 14 days the game starts to crash. Game slows/freezes/crashes after 14 days and not to mention it over heats the phone like crazy that I have to put it in the freezer so the battery doesn't blows up from over heating it, gets that hot.

I have spent good money on it, with no regrets until the last update… It’s glitchy, the mechanics no longer work like they used to, it crashes. Great game. An actually good mobile game. Good mechanics, good upgrade progression. No mandatory ads, only there when you want to double your score, amazing idea, I happily volunteer to watch them sometimes. The upgrades come at a good enough pace that you can grind for them at a good pace or pay if you really want. Only complaint is it’s not clear if I’m playing against actual players or an AI. If it is a bot, it’s really natural feeling sometimes. But I’d prefer real competitions. Anyways, great game! Very addictive!

Too many bots. It feels like 99% of the battles I do are just against bots. If you exit the game for a couple seconds and come back 0 time has passed for the turn taking, and that’s just not how genuine online games work. Not mention whenever you’re up against ‘someone’ with Laser Man equipped they have just the most unrealistic aimbot that knows to target the exact spot of which ever unit you used last. I do genuinely enjoy the concept of the game, I just wish they didn’t lie about the 1v1 pvp part. Seems the only pvp of any form is just the weekly win count leader board.

Scam is a Scam!. Be aware that it’s likely a scam! Have played 250 matches in ladder. Every opponent I match had been higher level than me. That means 250 people matched someone lower, but I matched someone higher 250 times. I’m gonna say it’s a scam to get you to buy in game purchases. There’s no way 250 matches in a row would match me with a higher point player on ladder and for 250 random people to always match someone lower. To further facilitate this hypothesis, I did win 95-games in a row using the same tactic. These have got to be the lowest skill players of all time or AI very poorly playing a players account offline.

Still has a few bugs and other issues….. Though I enjoyed the game up to this point, I noticed that some of my characters capability didn’t have the same effect on the enemy they have before seems like it’s dialed back a bit and I’m not having the same outcome as before.. There’s one character in particular that I enjoy using with it capability being maxed out at 100% I used to be able to tear through the enemies castle with ease and now I can’t even do that anymore. i’m no longer gonna play this game unless I notice there’s a change in their performance until then I’m just gonna play other games…

Great game. Been hooked on this game, and spent money. I only spend money on games that have great potential. I’ll give it 5 stars if you guys add join clans and tag match mode; where it’s 2v2, one player covers the upper half and teammate covers bottom half of their castle. Oh definitely add more cards. My only concern is the forced to buy just to speed up hours to day long for upgrading. I feel that’s unnecessary

Stealing money. I purchased a five dollar item. I didn’t get it. I was notified that purchase was NOT successful. So I tried it again. I was charged twice, and didn’t even get the item. What sort of scam is this? It was the $4.99 package that you have the option to buy once you lose once. I’ve checked several times, I’ve tried to “restore purchases” and still nothing. Is this game a scam? Having been charged twice for an item I did not receive, it definitely seemed like it. There is also no in-game place to report things like this.

Fun but could be better. Game is good would have given five stars but I feel the way winner is determined in tie is unfair. From personal experience I only had two matches where even percentage of castle left if appears if you only tie your opponent in castle damage in the last round they win. I feel If damage is the same one of three things should happen. One end in a tie, whom ever had most units left wins, or enter and sudden death round.

Love it but ………. This game, which I actually love, glitches out consistently. I’d love to play it more but every time I win a battle it glitches out. I have to log back into even get my rewards after a battle. many times I logon first thing in the morning to play the game all of a sudden it glitches out and then I’ve lost points as well. I started out at 1090. It glitched out before I even played my first battle and now it’s down to 1074 glitched out again and I’m down to 1050. Love the game, but frustrating is all good out that you can’t actually play it without having to log back in three or four times. Help!

New update 👎. The new update makes you wait to upgrade your units and before the update you could just do it instantly so now that I got a new card that I wanna level up, you’re literally gonna make me play the weight game before I can even use it and then not to mention the amount of ads that you have pop up when you either use resources or lose a battle does get annoying and I’m getting to the point in the game to where you can’t play for free you have to almost pay to play to be able to progress. Otherwise it’s going to take a long time.

New bug lowers the score. I have been loving the game up until the last update. Before when the two castles we far apart you could use the magnifying glass to see your opponents castle for aiming. The magnifying glass no longer moves from the left hand side to the right when you aim, making it useless because you would need to aim and use the magnifying glass with the same hand. Possible on a phone, perhaps, but on an ipad definitely not. Right now it’s difficult to play because I can’t see what I am aiming at.

Fun, but…. Fun enough, easy enough to play and progress… But you better like playing bots. It’s awfully fishy that every match I’m in, I’m up against a “player” with just a few more trophies than I have. Every time, without exception. And another thing… I think the scoring system needs to be changed. If a castle isn’t destroyed completely, it should be who ever has the most units left, then percent of castle remaining.

Pretty fun- uninstalled will not be back though.. Pretty fun game, I bought a few of the characters and had some favorites. I love how creative they were in making the different abilities. HOWEVER I immediately uninstalled the game and will not be back. when I had a family emergency and missed a day, this kind of pressure to make you play every day is a leftover of the old days and I thought developers had moved on. This isn’t Duolingo. I’m sure I’m not the only one. I have enough stressors in my life and this is supposed to be a game not a job.

No support for purchases. I made an in game purchase but the item doesn’t work. There’s no FAQ page, email support or otherwise any other information to figure out if I’m doing something wrong or if this is just a broken game item. It’s a fun game, but I would not recommend purchasing anything through it.

Fun but......... Game is fun and strategy is important. Only gripe I have is constantly being matched up against players who have the paid premium troops. No respect for those players. Players that paid for the premium troops should be in their own lobby. Not matched up against common troop deck players. Going up vs those pay to win players doesn't make me want to pay for the premium troops. It makes me not want to spend a dime on the game out of principle.

This game rocks!. As much as I like this game, I have a few suggestions. I believe the winner should be awarded more if they’re able to destroy all their opponents units before any of there units are destroyed. Additionally, if the winner defeats their opponent (whether destroying all the units or completely destroying their castle) before a given amount of rounds (say 20), they should receive greater awards. In other words, an incentive for being able to win the match quickly.

Good game, sound got worse after update. Quality game, especially now in the time where most mobile games shove ads in your face every 23 seconds. Only issue at the moment is for whatever reason after the latest update the sound quality has gone down the toilet

Addictive. Lots of fun! Adds are available to speed up upgrades and double the rewards, but not needed for casual game play. Battles are limited to 5 or 6 wins daily (unless you watch an add to unlock the next round). It’s really addictive, so adds can become painful if you want to progress quickly. Of course they offer unrestricted add-free subscriptions. Still, super fun game to play. But… they need to add content. New players, better castle updates, keep this thing going or it will become boring fast.

Fun, lot of potential, but needs better balance. Its pretty addictive the first few weeks. Primary things that need attention: 1. Better character balance. Many characters are totally useless and keep using the same 3-4 characters over and over. This quickly reduces what is initially a fun, strategic game to something redundant and boring. 2. More attention to defense and castle building strategy. It seems totally useless to upgrade defense for the amount of resources it takes. The same level opponents cut through an “orange” defense block just as easily as a “black” block. I think some of these tweaks will make a fundamentally fun game have a longer shelf life, otherwise will get quickly relegated to the “unused games” category.

Frozen screen. The games pretty good and I really enjoy it but sometimes when looking for a game it will tell me I’ve found one, but the screen gets frozen there, I’ve genuinely waited 5 minutes but no luck and when I reset the application it counts that game as a loss and I lose trophies also the cost to upgrade wall compared to the woods acquired from wins are kind of unbalanced, upgrades could be a little cheaper.

Used to love the game. I really used to love this game but have lost the last 8+ games due to app crashing. Sad thing was I was winning all of them but lost my streak and winning percentage keeps dropping. Haven’t finished a game since all games now end during the battle so what’s the point to keep playing? Have rebooted my phone several times, have plenty of space and even tried cellular only to rule out my WiFi network causing the issue, to no avail. Would really like to start playing again if issues could be resolved.

It’s all bots and a lie, crashes all the time. I thought this was the best pvp game I had played until I realized that I’m playing 90% with bots and on the few occasions I ever get to play with real people the game disconnects me. I get a win streak and it’s only ever ended by getting disconnected. The game had cosmetics but they just disappeared from the game entirely. Tried to report it but “Voodoo” has no real way to report bugs or ask questions. The gameplay is addicting, and is fun but it’s all a huge lie and your not really playing against people it’s just designed to make you feel like matches are close. It’s just another gambling app.

10 minute ads. I normally have no issue with the ads in these games. But this game takes it to extremes. There are things you need to level up that you can only get through ads and paying…which would be fine. If the ads didn’t take 10 minutes. The end of the ad stays in the screen until you physically interact with it and then you have to go into the App Store for the game in the ad and back out upwards of 15 times before the mark that allows you to return to the game appears. Fun little game made unplayable.

Foundations deleted if you move them off base…. really enjoy the game but i’m a little upset both the 1st and 2nd level foundations got deleted while i was editing my castle! the first one i accidentally placed on top of the other one and it caused it to disappear. the second got deleted when i dragged it off the castle trying to figure out what happened to the first one… it took me over a week to save up enough wood to get the upgrades so it’s kind of discouraging to keep playing if my work is just gonna get deleted from a simple mistake

More In depth. I love this game but I think on the next update you should be able to name your castle AND when u get ready to battle an opponent yall should add like an battle introduction like showing your castle name and accomplishments like how many wins you have n other accolades and it also shows your opponent castle name how many wins, accomplishments as well just a thought

Can’t access game anymore. I am at a higher level and have only been playing for a couple weeks. Game crashed as I was about to battle and when I open the game again i get a message that the progress on my device is different than what it is in the cloud. It asks me which one to choose and has a box to check that my choice is permanent. I click that box and then it wont allow me to continue. It only highlights the device and wont allow the choice of the cloud which isnt a big deal since both device and cloud are the same levels. But it wont allow me to continue either so now I am stuck and cant play the game anymore.

Great game but. The game is great and I have been playing it for nearly 5 months now but there is a problem when I finished a game with a win it suddenly stops I can't do anything until I restart the game and I checked my win streaks is a 0 and I lost the game that not fair and one or two times it's happened multiple times it's frustrated please fix it so I can still enjoy the game

Fun game until. Installed this game because it looked fun and it was…until I started ranking up and encountered a pay to win opponent. Where it started out fun and evenly matched against players with similar offense and defenses, the moment you encounter a pay to win player, the fun just ends. It’s one thing to get beat by an opponent who has a good strategy or even luck, but to lose and set back by someone who pays to win, that’s no longer a game I want to play. I deleted this game after that match. Fun while it lasted, but not a game for a long term time investment. I suspect I’m not their target audience anyway.

Slow slow yawn. At first it was entertaining then it got repetitive and dull after 20-25 games. Its forward speed needs sped up if they want to keep active minds engaged. The wait times for building/increasing XP doesn’t make any gameplay sense. I’d want to keep players playing not have them start tasks and come back 8-12 hrs later only to play a short time and leave again. Shortsightedness seems to be a thing in the 21st century. It’s hard to believe they think ppl will actually spend money inside the game. I’ve found zero reason to do so.

Decent game, needs permanent ad removal option. This is a pretty good game overall. My main complaint is that if you pay $10, you’ll be ad free for only a week. That feels really greedy to me. That should be much much longer or be permanent. The characters are fun and there’s a lot of fun ways to attack and use different strategies. I genuinely had a good time. I just hate ads to the point where I would pay to remove them, but not at the price tag of $10 a week. That’s way too expensive.

Addicted. Seems like a really engaging game however it seems like most of the players are bots or they just not engaging. Every once in a while a match will be extremely interesting and hard but most are kinda easy. Also the tournaments are kinda hard to compete in I’ll grind all day sometimes just for a random player or bot to drive up the placement while I’m inactive more than what can be obtained in a weeks worth of playing seems kinda hard to stay invested.

mostly a good game….mostly. I love this game but have noticed during certain event challenges that there are castles (or admin$) that are weak and have practically nowhere near as many victories as me or other players. Yet, they are far above me and others in points. It seems messed up. I have pics/screenshots to prove the BS but apparently I can’t post them. So for the game I give a four star. As far as the game being rigged, I give it a one star. Oh yeah it’s also BS that the game offers you like to pay $9.99 for something to gets rid of adds for ONLY 7 DAYS!! That’s a huge ripoff! I’ve payed way less than that for no adds indefinitely in other games.

Fun game, frequently broken ads. It’s a fun game. Good mechanics and simple to just get in there and enjoy. Not to much clicking around collecting BS for 5 minutes before you play a round. Only gripe is the constantly broken ads to refresh the rewards chest. I’ll watch and sometime interact with a 30 second ad, no problem. But it’s not acceptable to spend minutes in there with no way out except to force quit the app. Just fix that and we are okay.

Fantastic Game!!!. I never leaver reviews, but this game has been such a blast. So much fun, super strategic, limited ads, and ability to grow without the need to spend money on upgrades. Few quirks - sometimes the algorithm feels a bit one sided (e.g Meteorite showers back to back turns of opponents) and once I finished in a tie (e.g same castle health, but I defeated more players and yet the opponent still won) Overall it’s AWESOME!!!

Pay to win. This is my first review ever for a game but I wanted to warn players about this pay to win terrible game. Just started the game and within around 50 battles I’m already fighting people who have paid for hero’s that are over powered for their tier an destroying my castle in a few shots. The power ups are also so one sided it’s not even funny. I’ve fought players that shouldn’t be in my bracket where I’m almost guaranteed a win and every round of theirs they get a power ups to double the dmg or multiplied their shots and wrecked my walls. If you spend money on phone games this might be fun for you but if you don’t waste money on a hero to wipe other players out this game is a no go. Do not waste your time.

What happened to the details?. This is a pretty good standard castle to castle. Knock it out game. He does have some nice features, I’ve enjoyed playing it a bit. But I don’t know, maybe I’m just not in touch with what matters, but what happened to attention to details? I am so blown away at how many games have obvious typos or are missing a word. I mean, honestly, how much trouble would it be to have somebody go through the game and check the spelling? Is it just not important anymore? Anyway, I will get off my soapbox.

Money Wall. The game is fun and could be a really good pvp. But the matchmaking is garbage. You either get paired with a way lower level, or with one you know you can’t beat. And if you’re about to beat them, there seems to be an uncanny amount of amazing shots happen g from the other side to block the win. Tk really make any ground, you have to buy the special characters to have any chance of sinning consistently. Plus they’re way too expensive and not worth the fort and money. Would love to see improvements in the game. But I doubt it and will be moving on if changes don’t happen soon.

Fun but too easy. Really fun game and a lot of cool upgrades and utilities, but it’s not an online game. Instead you play bots which wouldn’t bother me if they were a little harder to go against. I still have a long way to go in the game and I imagine it will get harder but I would’ve liked some competition early on to make it more challenging. If the developers either make it online (I understand is hard to do) or include harder bots, it would be a lot better.

Pay to win in every aspect and horrible matchmaking. Every micro transaction you can think of you can purchase in this game. Matching players up against whales with tier 4 wall upgrades and multiple wall segments that players at that trophy range should not have. Not to even mention the difference in card level, I was genuinely enjoying my time playing until it matched me against multiple player’s in a row that clearly I stood no chance against forcing me to sit through a guaranteed loss every time. This game is a great example of why mobile gaming is trash now.

Damage. Can y’all fix your game please. i’ve been grinding playing this game but seems more like pay to win with other characters being way to overpowered. maybe even them out with less damage. The damage should be around equal. the effect is what should looks awesome and they do but the damage to castles with some other pay to use characters is crazy

Very fun game!. I love playing games on my phone but good games are hard to come by. I have really enjoyed playing this game so far and give it two thumbs up. Keep up the good work 🤗 Is there any way you all could add a test arena where you could experiment with the different units and learn how they work before incorporating them into actual battle?

please add new features!. So I have been playing for a while, I am through to Clash Colosseum, and now it’s just boring, no more objectives, and no variety. please add some new features, objectives, landscapes or terrains, additions to the castle beyond aesthetic. I am getting bored. There was an update just released and I was hopeful, but nothing substantial. The cosmetic castle options aren’t really worth it, they just get demolished anyway. Please enhance the game, like even castles sinking in a swamp, floating around, or more in three dimensions, and some new stages. Thank you for a great app!

Unfortunately just another pay to win. The game is fun at first but without some way to grind resources outside of facing other players it slowly turns into a pay to win trap. You will constantly be under equipped after a few days of playing unable to strengthen your castle or characters fast enough, and then the legendary characters… there is zero balance to them. You will literally get carved up like a thanksgiving turkey because in reality we’re just here to feed the whales

Features Request. First off – great game! I’d like to see two improvements: 1. a button of sorts where you are able to dial in both the angle and the strength of the shot, this located on the left. And then a separate fire/launch button on the right. 2. A ready visible table on the left showing your own unit’s capabilities as a quick reference.

Battery killer. First off it is a fun game but that is where it ends. I have been playing this game for about a month now. And every time I play my phone heats up instantly like burning hot and my battery drops significantly with in minutes by 10-20%. Now the bad part. I purchased a premium troop (Sun Ray)and leveled it to the mid 90s. And during the last update/identity crisis….it was NERFED. Like not by 50% but more like a 90% drop in stats. Basically making it worthless. They also NERFED a couple other troops because they were too good. I’m ok with deleting this game now before my phone blows up in my hand.

Review. Really love the game but hate all the crashes. Especially during battle. Over half of my total losses have been because of mid battle crashes. It really frustrating to be winning and end up with a loss and not to mention loss of a streak to get a bonus or reward. If you could find a solution to this problem that would be great. Or at least a compromise on a draw and no loss of said streak.

Match making is horrible. Fun game but the match making is all over the place. One minute I’m being placed with reasonable opponents and the next I’m being placed with someone that is clearly spending way too much money on the game. It should be matched with similar castle upgrades in mind as well. It makes the game unplayable until I lose 3-4 rounds in a row of castles that are far more built than mine. And I’m saving everything I can to improve my castle

Castle Clashers! by Voodoo is a frustrating experience, rampant player cheating completely overshado. Persistent Glitches Two months after the October 2025 release, reviews still mention projectile glitches that allow rapid or “one-shot” castle destruction from full health, even in real 1v1 PvP matches against human players. But these issues pale next to deliberate cheating. Cheaters Dominate Matches Matches feel hopelessly unbalanced due to widespread use of exploits and unauthorized tools. Many opponents can end battles instantly, taking down even an almost fully upgraded, heavily armored castle with a single hit. These one-shot eliminations make progress and investment feel meaningless. With no in-game support to report or block offenders, ranked ladders have become a playground for cheaters rather than a test of skill. Worth Skipping for Now There’s potential in the destructible environments and unit variety, but unchecked cheating ruins it. Voodoo needs to add reporting tools and enforce bans before the game becomes truly playable.

Recent update. I love the game and I play for hours daily, but what happened in this recent update? I’m having to play with two hands now. Instead of just using the “ magnifying glass” icon to aim and shoot, I’m having to use hold the icon to zoom out and use my other hand to aim and shoot. Have to use my glasses to play now that it zooms out so far. This change has ruined my current favorite game.

This game reminds me of Walter White. “ I see you lost your last battle, here buy some drugs it’ll make you feel better. It’s only five dollars.” You don’t pick you right back up and then get back out there. We need to be able to send you this pop-up again in five minutes when you lose your next battle and we need you to buy drugs. In case you’re stupid when I say buy drugs, I really mean buy purchases, but it’s essentially the same thing when it’s a pop-up every five minutes and only when you’re down and losing a game.

Enjoy the game but support is hard to get. Really enjoying this game. It’s been my jam lately. It’s something you can play very casually and they offer plenty of opportunities to get extra resources. My only complaint is I’ve been stuck on the fifth day or rewards for about two weeks now, so I’m missing out from my daily access. I’ve tried contacting support but there’s no clear way to do it, even on the support option here. Will definitely update my review to higher stars if I ever get this issue resolved.

Ice Cannon Glitch. This game is well made and it’s fun to play. The only issue that I have is the fact that once the ice cannon is unlocked you have to restart the game because once the player with the ice cannon has their turn you have to restart the game. That has my lose count going up without me losing. Hopefully this will be fixed with the update. Thank you.
