Prove It - Supplement Scanner Comments & Reviews 2026
Why make free at all?. I’m so tired of apps that come across as free, require you to submit information, and then you instantly hit a wall requiring you to pay. You can’t dangle false pretenses in front of people taking time and info from them and then give absolutely nothing in return. It’s okay if it costs money, but you have to offer at least something if you offer a free app.
Highly informative!. Amazing graphics and content!! Really helpful and filled with useful information!
50 questions and no trial. Had to go thru bunch of questions without possibility to skip and they do not provide even a single free scan (or other trial) so there is no way of knowing what exactly you get with this app. Pay upfront from min $5/month billed annually. Extremely bad user experience for new users.
Trash. Gotta pay… to just scan something really 😐
Not ready. To be charged for an app that is not ready is aggravating, I tried emailing the very next day to request canceling and a refund, email came back invalid. I was feeding more info than I was receiving. Honestly they should allow a trial period to see what you’re getting but then they would not be getting and sales. A refund of my hard earned money would have been better but that didn’t happen as no way to contact, so here we are!
Great for Beginners. Just starting my supplement journey and this app gets rid of all the confusion. Very useful!
Disappointed. Farming my information and then tracking what supps I'm using? You don't get to harvest my data AND then charge me just to show me Info that's free online.
Need help. I signed up, but nothing was sent to me.
Really?. App is trash it wouldn’t even let me try out the service before paying to see if it actually works and before I even know that it wanted me to rate it …really?
Ui doesn’t fit iPhone SE. Doesn’t work. Ui doesn’t even fit the iPhone SE ☠️
Annoying money. Stupid money
Waste of time. The app makes you answer a dozen or so questions, asks you to rate it before you’ve used it. I think that’s because they don’t tell you it costs to try the app so they want a blind rating. No thanks. Not paying for something that the Bobby approved app provides free.
Such a cool app!. I take multiple supplements a month but struggle to know if they are effective or worth the investment. This app is the answer to all my questions!! So easy to use, l scan all of my supplements and vitamins within minutes and shows if it’s worth it to use or not!
May be great… who knows. Just a heads up…. You have to pay a yearly subscription without a trial. Not into donating money for a product that may or may not be of use to me. Had to pass
Everything has to pay. You have to pay $30 to scan products, but they force you to rate them, what s false
Can’t even try it!. Should let a person try it before you them purchase a plan.
Selling more than a service. You have to go through a questionnaire about your current supplements tht is clearly a ploy to gain acknowledgment so they can sell you their own supplements then to even try to scan anything you have to pay before you see if it’s worth it. Their initial sales ploy tells me it may not be trust worthy. They likely have an ulterior motive.
No trial. Instantly have to buy a year subscription to even use the app. Not even a trial or anything? Sus
Paywall. Whole app is stuck behind a paywall, doesn’t seem to care about the average consumer.
CLICK BAIT! App is a front end for a supplement subscription service.. The add for this app claimed it was a tool for scanning your supplements so you could see effectiveness ratings. In fact, it is 💯% a front-end for a supplement subscription service. The app serves NO USEFUL HEALTH PURPOSE other than to trick the user into providing personal information so they can sell you on a supplement subscription.
Awesome app. Can’t recommend enough
Paid subscription for something you can google.. Don’t waste your money every month on this nonsense. Just google the free info or ask chatGPT.
Amazing. Amazing app helps me identify what I am putting in my body.
Superb Supplement Info. This is a one-stop shop for all of your supplement information. I appreciate the convenience of this app and the services it provides.
No thanks. Reputable so my company will provide a COA upon request. You can typically get this information for free. This app asked me to give it a rating prior to it doing anything useful so it gets a one star. In addition, the next screen after that was a payroll and I didn’t get to get any functionality out of it. I would not recommend this app.
Vitamins/Supplements. Like Yuka app but for supplements. I’m glad I glad I found it.
Not Great. It didn’t have the supplements that I scanned in the app and when I took pictures of the apps and nutritional value it didn’t pull the right info… has a long way to go to be effective. Chat GPT / AI tools work better and they charge you for this app with no free trial.
Scammy Charges, No Support. I signed up for $4.99/month but was charged for a full year with no warning. The app constantly pushes its own supplements and feels more like a marketing funnel than a helpful tool. I tried contacting support, but the email bounced back as undeliverable—support is literally nonexistent. Avoid this app.
Review. I’m still trying to use the app but I’m too busy answering all the questions. So as of now this app is a 1 star
Amazing app. Ive been using this app for a few months now, and its a game-changer! The interface is clean and easy to navigate, making it simple to track my supplement regimen. I love the personalized recommendations based on my health goals ”it feels like having a nutritionist in my pocket. The reminders are super helpful to keep me consistent, and I appreciate the detailed info about each supplement. The app has genuinely helped me optimize my routine and feel healthier overall. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay on top of their wellness!
Interrogated. Too many questions- felt interrogated!
Wow. The things I didn’t know? Thank you!!!!!!
Released Too Early. Wanted to love this app, we take a good amount of supplements in our home so making sure how good they are helps. But… everything I scanned wasn’t on the app. Yes I can input them but two issues. #1 If I have to manually take pictures of ALL my supplements to populate the app, why do I have to pay $50 a year?? #2, when I take pictures and have the app analyze the supplement I get an error every time. Immediately cancelled the subscription and deleted the app. I might consider it in the future if it gets better.
Only a quiz. You can only take a preliminary nonsense quiz before being asked for money
Gotta pay from the start??. Can’t believe they don’t offer a sample of what I’m paying for. I’d gladly pay if I knew what I was getting. They just want money from the very start. Moving on to another app.
Disappointed. Every supplement I wanted to check was locked. All of them! There is no free trial. Not willing to pay even weekly when I can’t even try it to see how it works. Moving on I guess. ☹️
Time will tell. Jury is still out—-ask me again when I have used the app for a few months
Great app!. This app is a great tool for checking the quality and ingredients of supplements. Scanning barcodes gives you info on safety, effectiveness, and potential side effects. I love the ingredient breakdown!
Be prepared to pay $$ for info. Nothing is free in this app so I’m deleting it
Great app!. This app is very useful and helpful with choosing what vitamins and supplements I use.
No free option. Who would pay $2.50 a month to scan two bottles of supplements.
Useless. Basically asks you for a survey a d ends up charging you $29.99 a year to use it without proof that it actually works. More like a scam!
Broken app. Can’t even click on Weekly or Yearly, screen is frozen. I went through the whole intro survey part and its not letting me do anything after
Information farming. This app wants you to answer their questions to make statistics while changing you 30$ a month to see what the stats of the products you scan are. Basically the app is useless until you put in $30 yearly. I hate it when they won’t tell you these things. These Diddy LLCs got to change
Not worth it. The app provides generic info at best. Half of the supplements I use were not listed. The app got more out of me than I got from it because I had to upload pictures to get any information on those. For that, you might as well use an AI tool instead. You’ll get far more comprehensive info.
Not helpful. Most of the products are not researched yet and you spend more time putting in all the info and taking pictures than anything else. Waste of money, maybe they’ll actually have some updates to fix it but for now I feel I wasted $30.
Best n easy. Love how the app is simple and straight forward!!
My view. No good
Highly Recommend!!. I recently stumbled upon the Evidence-Based Supplement Scanner app, and I must say, it has transformed the way I approach my supplement choices! The ability to scan product barcodes and instantly access detailed information about their efficacy and safety is incredibly convenient. The app’s extensive database is a treasure trove of information, allowing users to make informed decisions backed by scientific research. I appreciate how every review is grounded in credible sources, shedding light on both the benefits and potential drawbacks of various supplements. The user interface is intuitive, making navigation a breeze, whether you're a seasoned supplement user or just starting out. The medical disclaimer is also a thoughtful touch, ensuring users understand the purpose of the app. Overall, this app is a must-have for anyone looking to take control of their health and wellness in a scientifically informed manner. Highly recommend!
DATA MINERS!!!. Collected personal info and spending habits before presenting a pay-wall (offering no features for free or any trial period)!!
Did you know that you can earn 25 USD from our site just by registering? Get $25 for free by joining Payoneer!
Spam scam. Just a long winded survey after collecting all your info then asking for your cash to subscribe
.. Rubbish
Not what you think!. Don’t download! You’re here because you saw a social media ad promising it scans your supplements for nutritional info this app will charge you membership just for that, and only so they can sell you their supplements instead. Just google your supplements for free. I can’t believe they want paid membership just for the basic “hook” feature in the ad
Ridiculous. I downloaded this app, excited to use it. You sign up, they collect all your data through the introduction, then bam. Paywall. And it is ridiculous. Then even after paying over $100 a year, you still get ads.
Garbage. Paid for 3 months. Deleted after a few hours. Crashes. Tried scanning multiple products - over 12 - and picked up 1 accurately. Con job app!
Avoid! Long survey then payment. No ability to try the app, it starts with a very long survey before presenting you with a subscription which from what I can see was 3 months minimum. Deleted.
Survey + Subscription. Filled out a survey I couldn’t ignore and then upon completion was faced with a wall of subscription options. Never deleted an app that fast!
Worst scanner and scam. Be afraid this scam
Great Concept, Unjustifiable Price Tag. I was really excited to try this app, as the features and design looked fantastic. The interface is clean, and the tools are powerful and intuitive. The problem? The subscription cost is absolutely outrageous. It's a premium price for what should be a standard utility. The developers have priced this app far out of reach for the average user, making it feel more like a luxury item than a helpful tool. Unless you have money to burn, I'd look for one of the many cheaper or free alternatives that offer a similar experience without breaking the bank. It’s a shame, because the app itself is genuinely good, but the cost just makes it a non-starter.
Just another subscription. Don’t bother
Annoying. It ask you 100 questions to land to a page to pay for a subscription, quite possible it is fully comercial that in a sense you cant trust their review as most likely big farm owns it or pay for writing what they want. Could not trust the app.
Total scam!!! Avoid!!. I paid the $150 aud for a years worth of the app and I couldn’t even log in! I tried entering both my mobile number and email address to receive an authentication code which never came through
Schemers as per usual. No ability to trial the app, huge survey at the start and then a request of payment. What a joke
Scam. Have to pay for it after providing an extended questionnaire just a scam
Does not work. Downloaded app, I have two main issues! 1- misleading subscription costs, I wanted the weekly 7.99 so I could try the app, however I have been charged for a full year… not cool! 2- after being charged for a full year, I can not access the app as the verification code doesn’t send to my phone. Please advise how I can get a refund ASAP!

I feel scammed. Billing not as advertised and the app fails most of the time. Not the correct supplement and or you need to manually add in the bar code that is so difficult only to find no product found !
Scam. Total waste of time and money
They survey you first, then ask for money before allowing any information.. As title states
Can’t even try it without paying immediately.. Scammer
Scam. Charged me $100 for a free trial!!
Too pricey for what it is. Way too expensive of an app for even trying it. Not saying try for free but I’m not spending $100 to try the app. Maybe $5-$20 to try then confirm for the year
No option to try for free.. Disappointment you can’t use this app for free and that it won’t let you use for a free trial. Demands money to use. Lame
No trial. Can’t even try it. Have to pay.
Not impressed. I downloaded it hoping to use it and can’t even use it without spending at least 40$ on it that I don’t have. Thanks for not letting me use your app. Hope other people don’t do the same thing in hopes of using it without paying.
Don't do it. Charging a lot for a product you can't even verify works. brutal!! They don't want to help; they want your money
Not effective. I purchased this and tried it at home and I went to my favourite health food store and scanned many many items. Almost none of them came up and if they did, it seems they came up with the wrong product. Too bad I was really looking forward to using this product.
A dangerous app. Even before getting into any scans, it recommends using greens supplements instead of creatinine. Greens supplements are typically very high in oxalates, which can cause major problems. (Been there)
Scam?. Why pay without a free trial? Plus, what are all these questions about our use of supplements for? Clear lack of transparency. No thanks.
Don’t pay for this. Why pay for this when you can get this info for free on sites like Fullscript, iherb or others that offer just as in depth information. This is just another give us your money to save your money method. At least offer a free trial lol
Umm no clue how it works they're just demanded $40.... So you want me to pay for something without seeing what it does, no obvious trial, no limited functionality just nothing.... yeah I'm not giving you $40... why is a yearly plan the only option?!?
Prove it. How about you prove it works before demanding payment for something that’s already overpriced for what it is
Gotta Probe It First. No way paying $100 a year or more for an app that doesn’t even let you try it first and when signing up gives “facts” to scare you into purchasing. Big fail!!
Expensive pay wall. Not able to test out the app. All features are behind $100 per year pay wall.
Scam. Rate before using? Suck a 🍆
Trash. Terrible app, overpriced, no supplement info 85% of the time.
Prove it. Well, let me try it for me then to prove it’s worth that much money!
$$$. Pay first lol
no trial not paying. no trial not paying
Pay before testing. No Thank you I’m not giving you 60$ before I get a chance to try your app.
Doesn’t work. had to pay $140 just to try it, then, after realizing it didn’t work for most of my supplements was denied twice after requesting a refund
Scam. You mislead the users to downloading the app and then do a long survey before you inform them that they cannot use the app before committing to a payment plan. Scam!
Game changer. Feel better instantly.
No trial. Not interested in paying for an app that I cannot test before hand. Might be more inclined to pay if it was just for a month or a week to test it out but not a full year.
Needs work. Bar code scanning is painfully slow. Many Costco Canada items do not scan. Adding an item not in the database is slow. When browsing foods you have to click on each item to see the score instead of having the score in list mode. Could be a great app with more attention to user experience and details.
unauthorized charge. The app does not work properly. All product scans return nonexistent or missing results. I was charged without my consent. This is unacceptable. I want my money refunded and my account deleted immediately.
Maybe mention 💰before any scan🤨. You had me answering all your questions then said start scan and then came the “pay for pkg” BS first. Before even trying the app. For a minute there I thought 💭 ohhh an app that really cares about what we are putting in our bodies then I was quickly hit by reality. Sorry I’d love to try the app but cash is tight ATM.
No Trial. No one would pay before they can try the app.
Garbage money grab. Why would anyone pay $40 for this trash when google or ChatGPT can do the same for free. Or even SuppCo they have a free option as well.
Just tried it, and want a refund, but no way to get it. It over represents what it does, doesnt have most of the supplements I take, and information provided isnt clear.
Not free at all. Don’t advertise as free when there are no free options! False advertising.
No. A scam they have you fill a questionnaire and want to charge you to use the app. There is someone who signed up and got charged for one year and it won’t let her cancel. Stay away folks.
Scam. You should give trials before taking peoples cash, or even a weekly usage option.
You have to pay to try it. No I will not pay for trying this app
I knew it. They take you through this big long survey in the beginning and I know there was going to be a paywall subscription at the end lol. Nice try… lol. They think psychologically this will lead to more customers. All you did was piss off your potential customer for wasting their time.
When can I scan. It’s asked me to rate twice now and I haven’t even got to use it yet
scam. scamalamadingdong
Money grab. It like the Yuka app but for supplements but Yuka is free so no thanks….. how do you have a 4.2 star rating and all I see are 1 star bad reviews SCAM!!!
TERRIBLE. my dog died, my wife left, my kids left me, the app left me, i dropped my phone down the toilet, someone stole my credit card and ran me into debt, my wife took the truck
Scam. Claiming to care about their users and help then love a healthier life yet tries to force you to purchase a subscription to use it. Before you even get to try it out.
Pay to try! Stop misleading people. Pay to try! Stop misleading people! There is in-app purchase! At least put a price to your app. Stop gatekeeping!!!
No. How did this app ever get a 4.2 rating when everybody is rating it at one star? There is no free trial and I’m not paying before I try it.
Pay to play racket. I paid to play and I immediately regretted it - scanned 3 products and 2 were not found. So disappointed and the sub confirmation comes from Apple - not the company. I’ve already cancelled the yearly sub but no refund is likely. 🤨
Kaeee. No thank you I’m not going to pay $128 just to see whether your app is fake or is actually working. As a new app spending so much on marketing you should give it for a free trial for a week or maybe a month. But anyways, a customer gone is a customer lost.
Way too expensive & have to pay before using. Your app on your Instagram commercial; the pros and cons showing for the supplement was literally useless information that anyone could write about a supplement. Looks like someone just trying to make stuff up because they have no real data. And yes, complete waste of my time trying to sign up only to find out I’m paying MINIMUM what, $40+tax? Just to scan the only 3 supplements that I use. Lol, no thanks.
Paying without knowing how the app works. Why I can’t try the app without paying 😤
Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!
Love it. I really love this app! I hate spending money on things that don’t work! Especially a supplement they’re so expensive and I want to know whether that they’re good or not so I have this app and I love it!
Cool Concept - Too Expensive.. Wanted to like this, but with no way to “try before you buy” it’s a no go. Also, price is ridiculous. Other similar apps are $12 to $20 a year $100+ is WAY too much. They would get 10x more people and make more $$ - if they made it more affordable.
Deceptive pricing. I saw an ad for this app and it looked interesting and then it said it was 299 a month which I have no problem trying that for a month but there’s no way I’m going to sign up for a year . If you offer more options like weekly or something like that it would be much better
Terrible program. Download the program used it once or twice found it to be useless and expensive information is subpar and it’s just a way to sell you more supplements probably from their sponsored providers. The program itself was buggy difficult to navigate difficult to sign on all in all just a huge waste of time and money.
Money first. I hate when you download something and you can’t even check it out without paying something. And they don’t tell you that before the download. Also you can’t pay monthly, that would be something that I would be ok with it. But no they want you to pay for a whole quarter or year first.
Not worth it. The app provides generic info at best. Half of the supplements I use were not listed. The app got more out of me than I got from it because I had to upload pictures to get any information on those. For that, you might as well use an AI tool instead. You’ll get far more comprehensive info.
Not consistent. You can search for one supplement brand and kind and several show up of the exact same thing with different ratings across the board. OR you may search for something like beef organ supplements, and it shows you vegan options/alternatives instead of what you’re actually looking for. And the membership cost is crazy. I’d rather use ChatGPT. lol
Food add on is a scam. Despite what they say, there aren’t REALLY recommendations of alternate cleaner products. One of the top recommended sodas is a package of raisins and another is ice cream cones. Having to pay $30 up front to even access that and see if it’s worthwhile is trash. The supplement info was actually fine and seemed to be accurate, but if you want your user base to test a food add on, do it for free. Cancelling everything because of that trash.
Camera issue. When analyzing the photos, it is way off and after paying $19 for three months I would like my money back because now I’m thinking that all the other products you have analyze may be incorrect and not even by a little bit, but a huge significant difference, which makes me credit Their credibility greatly
Not even a trial version. Force you to pay for a year… says weekly but that’s a scam. Must pay yearly, before even starting app. Cheapest way to even “try” this product is $40, that is only if you say no to their cheapest variation of their product with ads. They “care” about your health, but not your wallet. They must not live in this economy. FYI ChatGPT will give you same results for free.
Worst App Ever. Takes forever to use and can’t find the right product so it makes ridiculous recommendations for alternatives. I see why they only give you the option of an annual subscription; no one would renew after a month if they offered that option. Websites do the same thing for free. What a waste of money.
Won’t Open + keeps crashing. this app used to work great probably more than a year ago, but in the last three months or so it continually crashes will either open up the screen, but won’t let you login or once you login the buttons don’t work. It also stopped scanning from within the app for me when I could get it open. Cancelling my subscription.
Disingenuous. It’s disingenuous to make me go through this annoying and long survey only to tell me at the end that I need a subscription. Despite your name, you aren’t proven to me. A free trial or a limited number of scans would actually work wonders. You can go spend $30K on a car and try it before you buy it. I can’t try your app before I buy? No other word other than disingenuous.
Bait and switch. You review the app and pay for a subscription before ever even using the app? I would give zero stars if I could
Horrible Onboarding Experience. Insanely long on onboarding with a heavy handed sales pitch, just to find out the entire app is locked behind a pay wall, so you can’t even try before you buy. The pricing was also very unclear, with payments based on different periods, but prices only given in per week prices, so you don’t know what you’re paying without choosing to move forward. The whole thing felt like a scam.
Have not used. All I’ve done is answered questions, I have not used it. There’s no way to really write a review on something you can’t use because of all the questions. I don’t like questions. I don’t care for surveys prior to actually using a product.
Dishonest. You download the app. They ask you all this information. They then tell you you have to pay for it. I signed up for a quarterly subscription. Then, when I continued on, it says let’s start scanning. When I press continue, it asked me to pay again! I googled complaints about this app, and it seems others have the same complaint
Misleading advertising, fake reviews. Wish I would’ve actually read the reviews first. Definitely not worth the money, inaccurate AI slop that tells you literally nothing. Massive waste of money. No studies, no evidence, not even accurate information about products. I have absolutely no idea where the good reviews come from, I’m assuming they’re AI garbage just like this app. 0/10 save your money
Complete Waste of Time. Disgusting data grab and horrible UX. They force you to answer 20+ questions only to prompt you with subscription options without even letting you see if the app is worth it. I’d be open to paying for a service like this if I could have scanned 2 or 3 supps for free to see if/how it works however, after this experience Im rooting against the success of this app
Junk. It sounded great, but expensive. I decided to give it a shot. 1st supplement scanned easily and without issues. 2nd and 3rd supplements didn’t work. I tried multiple times with each. I canceled the subscription and if they charge me for it, I will get a refund from Apple because I literally had it for less than 10 minutes.
Useless. It seemed like this app was going to give more information such as third-party testing of supplements, not just information on the ingredients of supplements that you can obtain by research researching a products ingredients before you purchase it. Not helpful at all maybe to somebody who’s just starting out on supplements and if that’s the case, this app is way over Priced.
Recommend this for all who take vitamins!!!!!!. This app is a God send now i can just take a pic of my vitamins i take and see whether they worth buying or not got rid of a couple of my vitamins.
Don’t waste your money.. While there are a few exceptions, the majority of supplements are not reflected in the app. I spent $40 for an app that doesn’t provide the service it claims. Truly and especially in this economy, save your money for something that has a better service than this app.
Tries to trick you into subscribing it doesn’t even offer a free trial.. It should at least allow you to scan a few products to determine whether the app is worth purchasing. I’m very particular about where I get my information and what I consider credible. Without the ability to cross-reference their data against my own research, I could end up wasting money on an app that doesn’t add value.
STINKS!. This app stinks! What a waste of money. Please don’t be fooled giving this developer money like I was. I take 10-15 supplements daily and it only recognized 3. I have another app, just like this one, that recognized all but 2 and it was free. Then after you input all your information, it just gives you an arbitrary score and nothing else. Don’t waste your money on this trash.
Purchased but no access. I purchased this app via the web using my apple id. However the app does not recognize it. I've tried through restore purchase and manage my account. Each time it brings me back to buy the app again. Additionally, I tried to contact support listed in the app store and the email bounced. Can someone please help me?
Very expensive for no real pertinent information. Great idea, but I was hoping that this gave more information than what I read on the label. For the price I was expecting full information regarding if the amount of nutrients was correct or the amount of heavy metals, etc. For $40 a quarter I was expecting to find out information that us not supplied by the manufacturer, this does bot do that.
Signed up for weekly but got charged a yearly subscription. I signed up for a $5 weekly subscription and they turned around and charged me $100 yearly subscription fee. I was fine with paying for a few weeks to check my supplements to get my stack right and based on quality products but am very disappointed with their sneaky predatory practice.
Stop playing games. This strategy you app developers have needs to stop. I will NOT subscribe to your app without seeing it in action first. I don’t care if I don’t five minutes answering your stupid question. I understand the sunk cost fallacy and I have no problem walking away when you try to force me to sign up. You guys are losing business.
Waste of time. Makes you go through excessive amounts of questions and screens where they basically try to scare you out of taking supplements they don’t sell only to find out at the very end there’s no free version or trial period option. They expect you to pay to have them tell you all your supplements are bad and you should buy theirs. Sounds like a scam to me!
Scam alert. Says it’s a free app. Turns out it’s free to download, but definitely not free to use. I just wanted to try it and see if it worked. Asked me seemingly endless questions about the supplements I take. Finally got to click a “try it now” button but it wouldn’t let me do anything unless I subscribed and sent money every month or quarter or year or whatever. What a waste of my time.
Deceptive, can’t use app without paying. It’s not free with in app purchases if you can’t even try the app’s main functionality. It’s over 35 dollars per year and you can’t even try the app out, it’s a really long quiz with a testimonial at the end telling you you’re spending too much on supplements and how you need this app. Then they want over 35 dollars per year and they want it right away.
Only pay option available. Walks you through a long list of questions before presenting you with subscription options. There is not a way to get a free trial or just buy a week for a decent price. It does not cite how it has any better information than you could research on your own. You would be better off researching yourself
Much needed!. I’ve been needing this app for YEARS! I have been taking supplements for more than a decade and Ive finally found a tool to keep me away from useless “snake oils”
No free trial. The marketing is intentionally misleading. They lure you in with claims like “a buck a week,” only to hit you with a full year’s charge. Or “three dollars a week,” which actually means you’re forced into paying for three months up front. I spend less on high-quality supplements. This app is nothing more than an overpriced money-grab — questionable at best and absolutely not worth the cost.
Crashes. Really cool idea of an app. But every other time I scanned a supplement or barcode the app crashed. I purchased it and then immediately asked for a refund. Also do be fooled by the weekly subscription. They charge you for the full year. That’s just the average. Maybe I’ll subscribe again down the road if they fix the bugs. It was super annoying with all the crashes. I gave up after 6 barcodes or bottles.
Rip off. Why do they make you pay for at least 3 months? It’s because you wouldn’t keep it longer than a week, to make sure your supplements are good and then there is no use for it unless you change brands or something. They show a weekly rate, there needs to be a pay weekly plan, or at least monthly.
If you want to add eight different versions of Tylenol. Added seven different supplements and they are all apparently different kinds of acetaminophen. How about just scan the UPC like every commercial product in the world has to pull in relevant data and add items… Camera interface constantly fails. Want to scan the barcode? How about just a frozen picture of the thing you correctly identified but refuse to add, that work? Great.
Time will tell. Jury is still out—-ask me again when I have used the app for a few months
Waste of time. Required a long, worthless survey only to find out it is an expensive subscription only app. No try before you buy option. No way to no that any of the supplements I use will be rated. No way to check that the ratings aren’t supplied by companies paying for the rating before you pay for the subscription - the only option is to pay. No thanks.
Can’t try before you buy. I wanted to see how this app compares to another app but after going through the unnecessary signup questions, it asked me to select my plan before I could even check out the app. No I won’t be paying for this before seeing what it can do. I’m not one of those buy now/cancel later people. Do better.
Scam. They try collecting a mountain of personal data on you (to sell) THEN try to sell you stuff before you can even test if the app works. THEN, I replied that I took 1 supplement a week, it crunched my data, and said I was using 500% more than the average person and would save $72,000 by doing whatever they were going to recommend to me. 😒 Legit apps don’t behave like this.
Don’t waste your money. I thought I’d give this a world, however on the very first try of scanning my supplements and immediately didn’t find it, and then when I tried to manually enter them, it kept failing to do so. I can understand why they didn’t offer it for free to try it out because it simply doesn’t work don’t waste your money. I want my money back!
Not Worth It. You should have the ability to search for the highest rated supplement. For instance, I searched sugar-free electrolytes and got a bunch of junk for results. And you rated liquid IV 9.0?? This app does not feel credible and I can’t trust it. I really want my money back. And why don’t you have a free trial?? So expensive and now I’m locked in for three months. Terrible experience. I do not recommend.
Issues uploading missing vitamins. I just subscribed and paid $74 for this app’s services and I have now tried to upload two different vitamins into this app that I take daily because their database does not have it. One is vitamin B6 made by Solgar and the other is vitamin Zinc made by Nature’s Truth. The app keeps getting an error every time I try to submit the photos for analysis. Can I please get a refund?!
Not based on facts about brands or 3 party studies. Reported rating based on what is generally known about ingredients, not based of actual tests of the ingredients of the specific brand. Absolute fantasy ratings. You might have the worst brand ever laced with mercury, would not know and would get a high rating because box said NMN. Evidence based means that NMN works but the container you scanned might have trash.
Hmmm. Not complaining about paying to use the app but to pay minimum $40 to use the app with no free trial period to see if this is even legit is wild. I saw there is a money back guarantee but who likes going thru the refund process. Should offer maybe a couple free scans to show people if this is an app worth paying for.
Ridiculous app. Too expensive! Why on earth would anyone want to pay for a subscription when they’re only going to check the few supplements they take and move on. There’s no need to continually do this. Tell me up front that there’s a cost associated with your app — if you can be transparent in the app store then how can I trust anything else you have to say. Don’t make people fill out a survey they can’t use.
