Problem in this app. This app not working at all, when I open it, 1 second then suddenly close

Ok app, weak options. The only good thing is I can easily add funds. Super, thanks. *delete* Let me edit my kids profiles, it’s not that hard. Hire a consultant if needed.

This app very useful my family. my childhood with we addicted game and I got marriage and my kids follow my dna and he have serious play addicted to gamer and he stop going to school and he not listen me and I lucky found this app PlayStation family app and I show how much time spent gamer and then real life and good day

Counterproductive. Received a notification within the PS app to download this. When I downloaded it, it keeps crashing when I try to open the application. Why not just expand the PS app with this built into it. Looks like someone wanted a bullet point on their yearly evaluation. Good attempt to fix the issue of doing extra steps to do family management within the PS app though.

Garbage. Crashes immediately on startup.

Amazing. I’ve tried this app for my son so he doesn’t play overnight, it worked because I know when he is on other apps!

So glad this now exists. Let’s be honest it was an arduous chore to adjust a family members play time through the main PlayStation mobile app. I dreaded it and was doing it constantly because I’m a soft, weak willed parent who is regularly adjusting playtime 😬 In any case this is much easier and definitely gives me back MANY collective minutes per week. Thank you for releasing this app, I hope they continue to support and improve it. Also it didn’t work at all when it first came out, crashed every time, but now it’s fine. 👍

Worst app, period. I say this with no hyperbole. Glitchy. So many crashes and errors. Cannot do basic stuff. Adding funds so my child can do extra things in their games takes an hour to get around the glitches. Terrible interface. Terrible navigation. Just total amateur-hour design sewage. Would never hire anyone with Sony on their resume.

Would have given it 5 stars. This app is really good at crashing. I would have given it more stars if it did anything other than crash instantly.

Streamlined. This app is a time saver. When you're managing a family, it is great that you can manage play time without having to login to through the website each time. A quick tap up/down to change play time is perfect. IMO this app is great!

Awesome. So much easier than the regular app. Overdue and welcome.

Execution needs work. I love the idea of simplifying parental control but I find it mind boggling that you can’t delete a child from the family group and can’t add a child that already has a PS account (only able to add new user).

So easy to change playtime. I absolutely love that I no longer need to login every time I want to change playtime. Past web experience was so frustrating! This app make is so easy!

fast, works. changing family settings on the main PS app used to take excruciatingly long (sign in and navigate to the right menu). this app makes it 5 times faster. good job!

Child Removal Impossible?. Seriously… one of the worst, most useless apps to “manage” one’s family. Many others have said it, but that’s fact that a child member can’t be removed BY THE PARENT blows my mind. My kids aged out (they are BOTH adults)… one doesn’t even play games anymore and the other has his own PSN account. Literally trying to follow the principle of least privilege, and PSN’s stance is to leave as much access open as possible — it’s almost as if Sony *likes* to be hacked/exploited.

Fix your app. Downloaded it to see my sons activity. It crashes every time I open it. Market a product that works.

Child account required?. We cant just add an account and track it. We need both, adult and child accounts. This is too restrictive. We dont even have a child account. I just want to track activity on our main adult “FAMILY” account that we share. There is NO reason for this app to REQUIRE a child account. This make this app too restrictive and quite useless for people want to track activity on their account.

Doesn't work. The app crashes. Can't add family members. Too many authentication steps. Gets you out of the app to the browser all time. Time limits don't work. The app is a piece of sh.... Works better the browser and just add it to home screen. I uninstalled it.

Keeps crashing upon opening the app. May be worth it if the fix the bugs

App won’t work on iOS 18.6.2. I tried the app. Wouldn’t open. Just kept closing after a brief flash of being opened. Tried a reboot. No luck. Same results.

So much better!. Finally Sony has robust parental controls I can access anytime from my phone. My kids two accounts were already loaded and I could start creating their restrictions. Highly recommended!

Doesn’t work. Love the concept, has been several days and multiple reinstalls, app simply fails to open. Hope they can fix it soon.

Age limits are enforced by PlayStation. As a parent you are not allowed to customise age limits for your own child as PlayStation decides what your child is allowed to play.

Need improvement. The app should be allowing to add time per slot of 1 minutes (not 15min) and shoud also refresh faster the time left... the refresh is soo slow... please improve your app.

Playtime. Playtime module keeps crashing the app - this is virtually the only reason I’d use the app. Sony never makes things easy.

Needs Work. Time frames of 15 minutes is to inflexible. Find myself going to the other app to fix the short comings of this one.

Needs serious development. The info of my child should transfer automatically, shouldn’t it…? Well its not…

Frustrating login issues. I can log into my owner account everywhere else without any problems, but on the PS Family app for iOS, it logs me into a completely different account. I’m using the exact same credentials, yet it just doesn’t work properly on my iPhone. Extremely frustrating—needs urgent fixing.

Much Easier. Finally an easier way to add or take away time on the Playstation. No more logging in and navigating through settings— it was so annoying !

Huh? Please rename this app to PlayStation Parental Control. So, according to Sony, families only consist of parents and children? Why can't adults in a household link accounts and share games? And if there is, why is there no accessible information about this within the PlayStation Family app? The app is essentially centred around setting up a family "to tailor children's experience." What do children have to do with me? Note: the the option is there to add an adult to your account. However, when you select that option, the next screen doesn't provide any information about the benefits of adding an adult. It's, once again, about family management and parental controls. Who designed this mess?

SPACE WASTER OF AN APP. The PlayStation family app is one of the absolute worst apps of all time it is pretty much useless with how un friendly it is to operate as mentioned @jjbreezybird said in his review. It takes forever to set up all of the settings and then there is no way to save them, you turn off playtime limit for one minute and ope there goes everything no saved settings everything gone and not to mention how useless all of the settings your either all in or all out. If I had a nickel for every time this app gave me problems, I’d be a millionaire. All it does is waste space on your phone and make my kid unhappy with how all of the settings have no breathing room. I feel bad because if he wants more time it’s a tedious process of adding time and subtracting later. PlayStation if you see this, you need to up your game. One of the worst family manager apps ever made - so glad it’s free 🙄

Better than nintendo’s but still sucks. Really annoying that you can’t remove extra accounts, but even more annoying is the frequent inability to adjust playtime for my kids. Usually happens to one kid and cycles which one it is, but shows an error saying “cant load, something went wrong, try again” yet try again does nothing.
