Programs Not Loading. The app used to work fine. Now some programs just are a black screen with the blue loading icon. My XP Reward Path, Weekly program thing, and a few others are just examples. What happened?

Good. I don’t know if this is because of the reception of where I am or what but, I purchased stubs on the PlayStation store but they have not transferred to the app. I have given it some time but know it’s day 2 and I still haven’t received them. I am not at my house to check if they are on my PlayStation but, I am really relying on the app for the stubs.

Trash App. Save yourself the time. Don’t download. This app is trash. Endless death loop trying to “link accounts”

Finally!!. I’ve been waiting for an app for mlb the show forever and it is fantastic. I would love a feature where I can see the programs and my progress as well as any missions I need to complete in that program. This is a great start and can’t wait to see future updates

Great very convenient. This app is amazing, especially when your friends ask you about line up then you whip out your phone and show your line up, rotation, bullpen, etc. one thing I wish they let you do and is the only thing that didn’t make out 5 stars was you can’t see your progress in your program or even your stats only gripe about the app

Great Usability - Performance Could Use Improvement. From a usability perspective this app is great! I can much more easily play the market than I can in my console. In fact when I’m playing the game and I earn packs instead of opening them in the console I pick up my phone and open them in the app because I can much more easily see the market value and sell my dupes on the spot with the app interface. I only gave 4 stars because of a few (but tolerable) performance issues. The app loads and processes actions slowly in general which isn’t a huge deal, but it seems to freeze up for a few minutes every so often with a perpetual loading screen, especially when I’m in the middle of placing a lot of buy/sell orders. I have to wait a few minutes and relaunch the app and it loads, but I lost my place and need to find it again. I sure hope SDS fixes this issue soon.

Sign in error occurred. Very frustrating. I haven’t been able to sign in on my phone because of an unknown error after submitting correct information. I like to check the market without having to turn on my console. Please help

Definitely needs work. It’s definitely easier to do stuff with the market but the app is super slow glitchy there’s a glitch if you place a ton of orders the app will glitch out and keeps saying fetching data it’s annoying you have to wait a few minutes and restart the app, it’s also very annoying that they won’t let you do collections and exchanges on the app personally I’d still recommend getting the app if you’re someone who trying to get stubs but if not there’s really no purpose and the app is super glitchy at the same time. Oh yes please stop logging me out and just keep me logged into the app I get it’s easy to get back in its kinda just like why is it logging me out anyways. It would help the app get downloads if they added a feature on the app that isn’t available on console, also it would be cool if they added a market notification bell maybe add a little trivia section where you get quizzed on baseball facts to earn small amounts of stubs kinda like 2ktv it would be a fun thing to add I know it’s a far fetched idea but it would be cool if they made it to where instead of having to put buy orders separately they allowed you to just put a specific number of how many you want the last thing I have to add is please clean up the look of the app a little it looks significantly more dull than the game and it honestly is kinda a eye sore imo I also

No face scan at launch?. If your going to release a game at least make sure features are available to everybody at launch. Especially with how expensive this game is you’d expect it to be a full game with all feature available. Update: app has finally been updated to support mlb 23 and all the new features 🎉

Really good app and a few things to make it even better. I love it you open packs anywhere. You can manage your squad and rotation. You can buy and sell cards and more stuff like that, but I have a few things me and my friend would love to see in the future 1. See your players stats ( that would be cool if you sleep over at your friends house you can brag about your Luis Castillo going 5-0 in 5 starts and his going 0-5 now that would be cool) 2. Be able to play MLB the show on the company app (if you can do it on Nintendo then you should be able to do it on your app in the future) 3. Be able see your ranked season score on your app ( and same thing as two you made World Series and He didn’t even hit 500 ) Those are me and my friends ideas to make it better. it’s a great app don’t get me wrong just those are some ways you guy can make it better. P.S. I would love if you could add a 99 overall Garrett crochet future stars card maybe in like a headliner pack or like, but last year his 94 card was my ace all year.

Good but having issues. Hey there. I’m having problems trying to switch to the show 23 because I’m on the show 22. Do I need to download the show 23 to have it pop up because I’m in cloud gaming and I’m trying to use the face scan feature for my avatar. Please answer the fastest you can devs. Thank you!

Suggestion. The all seems great so far, as you can basically do everything but play on the go. There’s just one problem. How do you guys forget to allow us to see our current squad? Maybe it flew over your head or you just didn’t feel we needed it, which is entirely false. Unless there is a way and I’m just too incapable of seeing it, you need to add it.

I Cant Sign In?. It’s not the app’s fault, it’s Microsoft not understanding how to make a website because every time I try to sign in it just takes me to a signed out version of the website. Maybe if the MLB The Show app could make a way where you could sign in using the Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo app it would work smoother.

Notifications not coming through for anything on new version for 2023. This app was very useful for me last year when it came to flipping cards on the market, however it is difficult for the newest version of the game because notifications aren’t coming through and many others are having the same issue. If you are able to figure out why this is, it would be a tremendous help

Perfect! But I have a request. This app is perfect I’ve been waiting for this but one suggestion we should be able to see our current team but it’s all good for now everything else is quick easy and not laggy at all

Overall, great idea. I like the app it allows you to interact with the market and buy packs. I do have an issue using the market. I place multiple buy/sell orders and the app crashes and won’t load anything until I close the app and wait a few minutes. I wish you could view collections, and your lineup easily. Overall love the game and the app makes it easy on the go. Keep up the great work!

Great App. This is the perfect MLBTheShow app. This works as best as it’s intended to be. It allows you to check the marketplace, manage your inventory, open and buy packs and much more. Sure there is a little buffering here and there but I mean the benefits of being able to play the game when you are not near your console make up for this. Definitely get this app if you are trying to have a better MLBTheShow experience.

Won’t let me sign in. I absolutely think that this app is cool and you can get updates for the game. However, I tried to sign in to my account and it kept saying “server is unavailable.” Idk if it has to do with my wifi or if it’s a problem with the app. Overall i would say it’s a huge W from what i’ve seen so far. I just wanna be able to log into my own account.

Great when it works. Since downloading the app, I have really liked how useful it is when away from the console. Being able to buy and sell players, open packs and see flash sale offers is great. I would like it if there was someplace where you could see your collections and progress in acquiring them. Currently my frustration is that I am unable to log in. For well over a day or more now I continue to get an error message while trying, saying there is an issue connecting to servers. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and still have no luck. I use the app on 2 separate devices and neither will access the app.

It is good overall but could use some things. The app provides easy access towards you being able to buy shop items and sell items. It also gives you lineup changes from the 2021 season if anyone has moved. But the problem is that you can view your lineup from the app. There should be a tab that has your players and their stats. But good app. 😁

Great app, but one thing…. I love this app! Makes it very easy to buy and sell cards, and to open packs without having to turn on the game. My one complaint is that I have to log in every time I open the app. Sure if only takes 6-10 seconds, but this is getting annoying over time. Otherwise a great app! Next can we get an app for the community forum? :)

Borderline Unusable Currently. This app has NEVER been a model of bug-free efficiency, frequently requiring you to re-authenticate via your PS/Xbox/Nintendo account (several times an hour)… but it was always serviceable, and super useful for using the marketplace. Since the last update, though, it slows to a laggy mess before freezing up entirely within literally 3-5 minutes of use. It acts like an old computer trying to run too many processes on too little of memory. Then you have to force close the app and re-launch it (once again having to re-authenticate again), only to be gifted another 3 minutes max of use time before it all happens again. And if you lock your phone while the app is open, it will be frozen and require a force close again upon unlocking. Every single time. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. It’s easier to use the website on a computer and re-type the captcha for every order now.

Great app , 1 minor thing i’d like to see. This is such a great addition to the game, spectacular content uploaded this year with a variety of different things to do whether your no money spent or some money spent. the thing that would help a lot is if you could add the price for the card your selling after tax. that would make the app more above and beyond than it already is

Can’t log in. Using PlayStation. Keep getting server connection errors. Network is good. Account info log in and password are good. Have not been able to log into the 23 app. Had the same issues towards the end of the 22 app. Would love to give more stars. But at this point I can only give 2. 2 star for lack of usability and one star for wishful potential. I’ve reached out to all supports I can think of and no responses. Frustrated.

Needs Work to be Great Again. The 23’ version of this app just came out, and while it is good. The 22’ version was AMAZING. It just made sense. The 23’ has lower quality looking card ratings, and can’t seem to figure out notifications. While the app is good, I do have faith in San Diego Studio that they will fix it. Overall, very handy app; just needs some care.

Crappy. Will not let me sign into any other account other than my alt.

Can’t get in. A lot of my friends who I know have this app really enjoy it, that’s why I’m giving 2 stars, I know the potential this app has if it will let me in. I’ve tried logging in a million different times and it says is “error” so that might be something the developers should look into. I did realize that my friends are both Xbox users and me a Switch, maybe that makes a difference? I don’t know, but I will download again once login issue is fixed.

All around great. My only complaints are not being able to a quick sell items and not being able to complete sets. But all around amazing and something I’ve been looking forward too

Great Start. This app is great for opening packs, buying and selling cards. I would like the ability to edit my team from here. More importantly, I would like to track program process from the app. So I can refer to the app to see what I need to get done.

Great but face scan issues. I like the idea of this app and how you can buy packs, see what your friends pull from packs, and many more but I have some questions about the face scan feature. On the app it says the face scan feature is closed. I’ve had the game for almost 2 days and nothing has changed. Everyone else’s seems to be working so I just want so answers.

Am I doing it wrong?. I have the newest version of the app. It says in the 4.0.0 version that face scan was fixed. I can access it on my phone and uploaded a picture. I keep pressing the refresh button on my Xbox but it doesn’t seem to do anything. My phone seems to know that I have an uploaded picture of myself but my Xbox does not. Yes, they are linked. I have also restarted the game several times. Really looking forward to using this feature. Am I not doing it right or is there still some bugs to work out?

No more squads?. Bummer that I can’t edit my squad anymore from the app.

Very good, one suggestion. I think it would be very helpful for the players to add the “Ownership” filter that is used in the My Inventory tab that lets us filter by owned/dupe to the Community Market tab. Letting us filter the Market by cards we already own or have dupes of would let us find lower overall cards that we own that sell for higher prices so that we can sell them much easier

The Show 23. Thank you for updating this app finally! And the game is even more amazing. However, when I go to face scan, it has a red stripe that says closed on it. And when I press it it says “Sorry, but you are unable to use face scan technology at this time.” I am really looking forward to this feature, so please fix.

When is it going to update. It’s a really good app to look at your team and look at the marketplace but for some reason they haven’t updated it to the next game yet. Can we please get an ETA for when it will come out.

Happy!. I’m new to the game, and as i got into it more and more I was wondering why they didn’t have an app like this, I even went looking for one lol. It is great. There is a few things I would add, but it’s way too new and just getting goin to critique just yet. 👍🏻

I think this may help. The app is amazing and very useful but one thing I would love to see is the ability to do mass quick sells of all your duplicates. No one wants to spend hours quick selling players one by one. This would keep players interested and engaged in the game. I hope to see this soon!

It’s a bit buggy. In general I like the app, but when I look to do face scan it says it is closed. The issue has been happening around a month now. I don’t know if it is related with me playing on Xbox or something similar to that. I would rate the app better if face scan worked for me because I really want to use the feature. Every other feature is almost perfected. PSN, please fix this.

Unprepared for 23. Logon to play The Show 23 and the app won’t load. They encourage you to do a “face scan” in the companion app but it doesn’t even have a section for The Show 23. Feels like they did not prepare the app to be ready for the game launch which feels wrong. I am also annoyed because knowing that I can do a face scan, I want to but am at the mercy of this app which has been “processing data” for 2.5 hours after login. And then there is no way to get help without submitting a ticket on The Show website, also a really frustrating addition.

It’s a start. App works like it’s supposed too but need a squad tab. Being able to see the market away from the system is nice. Add side games or something to the app to be able to win stubs away from your console. Or an incentive for using the app daily. Also a tab for the PlayStation network Trophies progress. And an event progress tab or just ability to see what you need in an event while your playing.

Good as is, but I have one suggestion. The app functions exactly as intended, with little to no bugs or glitches that I could find, and overall I think it’s a great supplement to the game and improves the overall experience of the show to be able to purchase and open packs, as well as see news, and access the community market, all when you’re away from your console. The only thing that held me back from a 5 star rating is the fact that as far as I can tell, there’s no way to view or manage your squads. I think that’s the only place where the app misses the mark. You can view your inventory, but that leaves a bit to be desired as it only shows cards you own, not the ones you currently use. The simplest solution I can think of is to have a “squads” or “squad management” tab where you can swap cards in and out, as well as check their attributes, and their stats. In total, I think the companion app in its current form is very convenient and definitely a plus, there’s just one or two quality of life improvements that could be made to ensure a more user friendly experience

This is amazing. I was able to log in first try in about 5 seconds, I bought a pack and it was legit, going screen to screen it is very fast, took less then a second to load to look for a card “manny Machado” on the market, and you can go through every past roster update through the year. This is amazing!

Y’all.. Obviously they’re going to update the app. Give them at least a week or two to get everything straight hahaha Jesus y’all are so impatient. The real MLB season hasn’t even started yet and y’all tripping over a companion app… It’ll be here soon like it is every year. Y’all best change them 1 stars once they inevitably update the game what a bunch of babies haha.

Functionality. Ive used this app for only nearly 30 minutes and I already love it! As an avid player of the game this app makes selling cards and just the overall process of opening packs so much easier. With the function to double tap the cards you open to instantly sell them on the market this saves me a lot of time!

Much Needed. This app will make life so much easier in regards to not missing any updates, content drops, as well as being able to purchase packs when they do their Flash Sales. This has a lot of potential. As a religious player, I absolutely love it!!!

Squad management. We need squad management back, overall very good and easy to use!

Worked for a long time. stopped recently.. I’ve used the companion app since mlb 21. I’ve had zero issues in the past and as someone who plays the marketplace using trends and predictions it’s very disappointing. The app is usually great and works well. But only recently I’ve had the error page every time I attempt to log in onto my Xbox account. It seems that it has problems connecting to the MLB servers. I’ve reinstalled the app and powered off my phone.

Perfect down to the last details. This app is perfect using since 21 and i had long term problemes and great for when im away from the console

Xbox Comp app log in issue. Logged in, with the wrong email and now when I try to connect my Xbox log in/email I have no option because it automatically does the wrong email, I allow it to log into bad email, to hit log out.. when it logs me out it props you to sign in, but it automatically does the wrong email! Uninstalled multiple times with no help.

Great but one thing. This app is perfect but the one thing that doesn’t give it a 5 star is that as far as I can tell you can’t check your player stats or player stats on the market.

Unable to download 2023 New Content on Companion app. Somehow how the 2023 is not showing up on IOS devices. How can we get that fixed? Currently I can only see the 2022 and 2021 titles only. I have already deleted the app and tried downloading but im still seen previous games only…

Authenticate. It has been taking a long time to authenticate. I am an Xbox player. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, and it has been taking a long time to authenticate still not authenticated I am trying to use the app for the MLB the show 23.

Great app but…. Why can’t we stay logged in? I get kicked out every time I close the app. In my opinion this would be a five star app if we could stay logged in and there was a little more functionality (Squad Management for example)

Can’t Log in and CS no response. It’s been 4 months since I was last able to log in and I get the same error message. This happened last year and this year. I’ve gone through customer support but have gotten no response. I’ve deleted the app multiple times and reinstalled. Can’t use the app and there isn’t any help. Great video game. They should stick to that and get out of the App space.

I need help. I accidentally logged In to a wrong account and now when I start the app I pick ps4 it won’t let me change my account.

I love ❤️ this app but don’t want to uninstall. Okay first of all I keep getting Logged out and it’s really making me very unhappy so devs please fix this issue because it is very very bad but on the plus side this app is very helpful. But still fix the issue where I keep getting logged out of what platform I’m on cause I’m on Xbox but every time I go into the app I get logged out each day.

Question. If you have entered the wrong account on accident how can you switch or change the account because it won’t let me switch accounts?

Terrible lag. Started out great, but once more people started using, way to much lag and just totally stalls. Quicker to buy/sell players online, even though you have to keep entering prices. Need to fix it. So many apps with millions of people using, don’t have this problem.

Not letting Sony sign in. I don’t want to leave a star review yet because it’s so early in release, but everytime it tries to direct me to the Sony sign in page it says an error occurred and it fails. Ignore the star rating. I’m just giving it a 4 because I like SDS. I’m glad to see SDS getting an app for the game! Great move by SDS

Main squad. I am not able to look at my main squad to switch a player out to sell my screen goes white it allows me to go to other teams/squads I have

Ive used them all!. But this is the 1!!! And they don't reset you back to where you have to relevel! Made fat stubs so far and it works just like ingame only better with more info! Great job on this 1!!!!!

After Update. It may just be me, but the companion app updated to be for MLB the show 22, and there is no way of going back to 21. The show 22 isn’t officially out yet, and I haven’t preordered it, so I can’t play it yet. So is there anyway I can switch back to 21 or am I just out of luck?

Overall: Useful. I like the app overall. However, it’d be five times better if they added a feature where you can check the parallel XP progress of your players, as well as the progress of your programs.

Push notifications. The app is great and works fine but my push notifications just stopped working and the app signs me out automatically

Not the right game.. I get that I had early access, but surely you could just update the companion to give you the option to connect to 23. I would’ve loved to have a face scan on my first RTTS but instead I’m having to use a user made face.

Good app but crashes every 10 minutes. I love the ability to flip cards from anywhere but it seems to crash very frequently when you’re doing high volume and takes up to five minutes to be able to use the app again.

Sign in trouble. The app is great however I logged into my wrong PSN account and tried to log out and login to the right one, but everytime I try it makes me automatically sign into the wrong one and won’t let me sign into the correct one

Great but one glitch. Great game awesome and love the san Diego padres so I love San Diego studio but one glitch when my dad is playing when I try to change the lineup the screen goes white p.s. my dad got it on Nintendo for me

N. A great app nice to stay up on new cards when I’m not home, but there should definitely be a team button bc I can’t sell cards I have on my team from my phone bc I can’t take them out

Great for the market! Needs team management. This is great at what it does. It's much more convenient for selling and buying cards. The thing I will say is that it would be great if we could manage our squads from here too

Ability of other games stopping it from being 5 stars. Hi SDS it’s a good app, few bugs but one thing that really bugs me is the ability to switch through games add that ability please

Broken. Worked for a couple weeks then last Friday whenever I go to long in it says “an error has occurred”. (Play station) I have the newest version of the app and also have tried it on wifi and also not on wifi and doesn’t seem to work. But when it does work for me it’s a great app.

Can’t sign in. First few months having this app it was great! Being able to place bids on market/ exchanges ect… Now I can’t even sign in. Have Xbox/Nintendo switch/ the show accounts all linked and none of those work to log in through the app. Pretty annoying.

Why does this app exist. Looks like it’s 99% bad reviews throughout the whole year. I just downloaded this and can’t sign in to my PlayStation account without getting an internal error on this app. People complaining about the face scan not working and other things. Maybe you developers need to fix your app so us fans will actually appreciate playing The Show.

Wont let me log out fully. My friend logged into my phone on his account and I have been trying to log into mine. It doesn’t even give me the option to but in a different email it just logs right into my friends account. Iam going away and want to open packs while away.

The companion app the game needed. Much anticipated app for MLB The Show, being able to check auctions and buy packs on the fly. Plus being able to see what is coming to the game, and the ability to manager binders !!!!! Let’s Go

Great but has one major flaw. I love the app and all, but it keeps making me log into my psn account whenever I do use it and it’s really annoying, if that was fixed than this app would get a easy 5 stars

Confusion. Huh, am I only one who had 0 idea MLB the Show 23 was coming out? Oh wait… I knew months ahead of time, so Apple had plenty of time to figure this out and post an update shortly after release… you know…. Like Samsung did. I hope no one changes these reviews so that this app can be properly rated due to lack of common sense being placed currently by Apple

Nonfunctional. I have a switch. The app recommends signing into your mlb the show account before signing into Nintendo. However, you can’t even do that! When you open the app it asks you to choose the system and sign in, there’s no way to get out of that. Therefore the app doesn’t work at all for me. It’s 2023, problems like this are easy to catch and solve so maybe do that.

I like it. Overall it’s very nice to have this app. The people who have only a few chances to play the game a few times a week I’m sure are very grateful. Thank you SDS and MLB for bringing us such a beautiful app!

Unusable joke. Used the wrong email and now it is stuck, force logging me into an email with non-existent Xbox association. Terribly awful no good very bad joke of a “companion app”. My companion is now a shell account and the app is worthless. The app literally sends an email saying they do not have the support to even delete the account. Never buying another of your games

Slow login. App works fine with everything else but it is super slow when you try to login and they claim “the login process got faster” it really hasn’t at all if anything it got slower.

Cant get past the login screen. I try to login with my xbox account but I am stuck. It says there is an error with the servers

Great app but…. The app is great, but there is a bug where I am not allowed to log in, no matter what I do. I tried to log in to PlayStation with an account, and I signed up for the newsletter, but nothing is working. I have a video of the bug if the developers might want it. Sorry about this!

The App is fine for base level things but…. That’s it. Buying and selling cards on the app is nice. But when there is flash sales, the shop never loads on the app, saying it’s down for updates. It logs me out every time even when I check to keep me signed in.

Amazing. It feels much more organized than the website definitely recommend to anyone who plays the show!

Awesome!. As a part of the XBOX gang. This app is amazing makes it so easy to buy and sell cards as well as pack market! Definitely the easiest way to “clean your binder” made more stubbs off this free app than playing the game

Needs an Update to Reflect Current Game. I want to play the Road to the Show part of MLB the Show 23, you tell me that I can scan my face onto my player using the app but I can’t. You need to update the app to allow us to do so. Also not about the app but fix the custom uniform issue in the game itself. I want to use my awesome custom designed uniform not that of the Orioles.
