Screw Pin Jam Puzzle Game Reviews

This is unacceptable.. The game itself and the concept are excellent. However, after you spend 1 1/2 minutes, completing a level, you have to turn around and watch three minutes of ads. There is easily two maybe three times as many ads as there is gameplay. Also, when you try to watch a video to be able to break the glass or revive yourself in the level, the video will play, then go back to the game screen and not do anything. Then you have to click on another ad that’s at least two more minutes long and waste more time to get your reward. I’ve never played a game that you had to watch ads after you won. That is unacceptable and ridiculous. Do better.

Unfortunate problems. Its clear to me that what color the screws AND boxes are is, to an unacceptable degree, random. The reason I’m sure is A) if you start a level, fail, & restart, both will be different B) I’ve gotten a puzzle that was clearly unwinnable without the ad-powered “boosts” from the outset. A puzzle where I had two same-color “boxes” of three to fill, but only two screws of that color available, & no way to uncover more within the necessary amount of moves. I’m sure there’s some sort of algorithm in place to prevent that, but it seems to do its job poorly. Speaking of those ad-powered “boosts”, it often won’t register that I have, in fact, watched an ad, meaning it’s not uncommon for me to have to watch up to three before I actually get the “boost”. Aside from that, it’s an aesthetically appealing, fun game, & when the algorithms that arrange the screws & decide what color of box to provide do their jobs properly, it’s one of the better screw puzzle games. But that’s a low bar to cross.

Fun BUT. The game is fun while you can play. It’s set up where you have to spend money. They control which colors you’re able to fill- sometimes the ones you need sometimes ones you won’t need for a while. To add more spots to fill more colors you have to watch ads or pay. After you watch extremely long ads, you get to add more boxes. Once you’ve watched so many ads then to watch ad button won’t work and if you want to continue to pay you have to pay. So all in all to call it a free game isn’t true. It would be fun if you actually were able to win without having to watch a million ads or pay- or atleast call it what it is. You PAY to play, eventually anyway.

It’s frequently impossible to beat. It’s frequently impossible to beat because the colors are randomly place in the holes. I’ve gotten into the position where the screws on the top layer and layers below don’t match the suit case colors either. It just feels like you want me to buy the “power ups” to be able to actually be the randomness. Whoever is coding this needs to put the suit case colors in a stack that matches how they’re placed into holes. And it would be fun and challenging that way. Pre generate them if you need. Also put a check in place to see if the colors on screen are doable if all the spare holes are full. I’d get in a position where I’d fill the spare holes but could have cleared the suit case if I could have unscrewed just one last screw.

Super Fun game but it is RIGGED!. The game is addicting don’t get me wrong and very fun to play. I love a challenge, however the game is rigged you can’t unscrew all the pins without watching an ad and I understand that it’s a free game but the extra slots get taken up fast so there’s an add every few seconds into playing the game. Where it’s obvious you can’t get pass it. The colors don’t match up to the cases that’s given. Ex: the color cases given would be blue & brown but the only pins available to unscrew would be the orange pink and purple ones. The brown and blue ones would be all the way underneath and unscrewing the other colors to get to it takes up the extra slots which then makes u watch an ad.

Ad infested. Makes it nearly impossible to play without being bombarded by ads, one plays after every attempt at a level. I also noticed a bug where I would turn off the music and sounds while playing a level but it would turn back on during my next attempt. Looking at my settings I’d see the sounds toggled off but I could clearly still hear the music going. Was annoyed fixing it every time so I had to put my phone on silent to play-, meaning I couldn’t listen to my own music either :( Lastly, the first 2 levels are super easy to get you hooked, then the 3rd level is impossible to complete without power ups. I played for an hour trying the third level - ridiculous! No level should be that hard especially that early on. It’s an obvious cash grab trap. TLDR; It was fun but not worth the annoyances- deleting after 2 days.

Too many ads. This is a very enjoyable game, when you can play it. Unfortunately, for every minute you’re in the game you’re going to spend 1/2 to 2 minutes wading through ads. Once you’re in the ads it takes hitting the exit button three or four times before you can get out of the ad. I understand that the developers need to make a living and I have no problem watching a few ads but this is excessive! I would give this game five stars if the ads were scaled back to a reasonable amount.

Fun to play while you can!. It’s fun but once you level up a little it’s gets to where you can’t go on with the level cause you keep getting the same color with nothing but one color not it. You don’t win any bonuses to help revive, NO you have to buy or watch videos to live on or start over, over and over again. Never play any other game where you don’t win any bonuses to help with the game. I’m so tired of watching ad after ad after ad. And is not the same game shown in the ad to get this game.

Too many ads. This game is fun not only are you matching colors to the correct bin but you have to factor in the swinging glass to help get to the color you need. Having said that there’s way too many ads. Each level starts with 2 cases and you have to watch an ad to unlock each additional case. Each ad is about 80 seconds. If you beat the level with the additional cases you then have to watch another long ad before you play then next. I understand it’s a free app and they need to make their money but there’s no way a simple game like this needs this many ads to make money. My suggestion give players an option to pay real money to have the cases permanently unlocked. Or to remove all ads completely. Even if you reduced the amount of ads it would significantly improve the game. Cause to you can’t always beat a level with all 4 cases unlocked so I find myself watching more ads then playing.

Fun, challenging, but buggy. I like this version the best out of the screw challenge games, as it’s the only one that actually makes you think any strategize. The issues that initially made me delete it (but I redownloaded it after seeing how mind-numbingly boring the other games were)were two bugs: first, the option to turn off sound doesn’t work. You can turn off sound, and when you log back in, it shows that it is off, but it continues to play. You have to go under settings, turn the sound on and save, then go back in and turn the sound off to get it to actually mute. Second, the option to pay to remove ads doesn’t work. It makes the screen flash, but nothing loads. I have tried selecting it everywhere that is possible - Home Screen, the shop with the no ads only purchase, and the shop option with no ads in a bundle. This is a big one for me, as I despise ads. If the bug isn’t fixed to allow me to pay to remove ads, I won’t end up keeping the app. Please fix this in your next release!!!!

Buggy and Annoying. Probably one of the worst decisions I’ve made is downloading this game. It’s buggy I’ve never seen more ads in a game it’s insane you can’t even progress to the next level without watching some stupid ad. There’s no progression or anything to work towards with this game it doesn’t even give you rewards for completing levels it’s all about ad revenue it’s honestly terrible. The only way you can beat a level is to watch ads and sometimes you will watch an ad just for it to make you watch another one without giving you the reward you were originally watching the ad for. I had to delete this app and I will be giving it a 1 star review it’s honestly terrible fix the bugs cut the ads and maybe it will be somewhat decent.

It’s fun but…. It’s clear to me you can NOT win a level without watching at least one ad. You start with two cases (the ad that I watched that made me download this game had four open cases to start). You will run out of correct colors to pull from the board and will be forced to watch an ad to open a new case. Also, you have 5 holes to place screws in for safe keeping until the correct colored case appears. Except it’s not 5 holes. It’s only 4. Because if you attempt to USE it he fifth hole, the game says you lost. So why do you have an empty space there if, when I use it, I have to watch an ad and start completely over?

Could not play more than 5 mins. The game is full of ads, I couldn’t even play for more than 5 mins because of instructions caused by the ads. I understand that you want people to pay in the game but what is the point of providing a free game that stop you after 5-10 clicks to watch an ad and you ask to pay to do anything else. You are anyways getting the money out of ads, why not just make the game paid you get the money up front. Deleted the game after 5 mins. There are other games available who would really let you play the game, you are just after making money out of this game. Good luck!

A Brilliantly Addictive. A Brilliantly Addictive Screwpinjam is hands-down one of the most innovative and exhilarating games I've played in a long time! From the moment I jumped into its vibrant world, I was hooked by the unique mechanics and fast-paced gameplay. The blend of strategy, quick thinking, and action keeps you on your toes in every level, making each session feel like a fresh, thrilling challenge.

Highly Recommend. I highly recommend this game especially if you have a friend or family member that also has it. Levels go up to who knows how high and it’s fun to try and beat other’s people’s level. The game is entirely free with a few tolerable ads. In fact the ads introduced me to one of my other favorite games. The animation quality is high and the sounds are aesthetically pleasing. This game is like easy organization for the mind. Not a lot of annoying moving parts and the ads are exactly like the actual game. Enjoy!

Buggy and addictive. Super frustrating. I paid for this app because I enjoyed playing it so much, BUT after paying you still have to watch ads or pay more if you want to get past a certain point in the game, about 50 levels in. The ads are over a minute long! In addition, after watching an ad, there is a 50% chance you don’t get the item you watched the ad to get. In conclusion, for the amount of money this game costs, there should be no bugs. I wish I hadn’t started playing and feel I’ve been taken advantage of. Gave it 2 stars because it could be such a good game. It just is not.

Glitchy. This is a really fun game…when it works properly. I’ve tried multiple times to pay to remove ads, but that option won’t load. It will let you buy credits, but not remove ads. Not ideal, but I can work around it. But the big problem is that the ads freeze, so then you have to restart the whole thing. Or when you watch an ad during the play for extra options, it doesn’t register so you have to watch it again. If this issue isn’t resolved soon, I’m not sure if I’ll keep playing the game.

Puzzle is a misnomer. The game is fun, but I am at qualms with puzzle in the name. It’s more of a combo of luck with the boxes and map, plus some strategy for consistency. However I wanted a puzzle, not what is effectively a roguelite. Edit: hmm there may be a guaranteed solution. Bumped up rating, if I find it was a skill issue I would give it a 5. Double edit it was a skill issue. The element of luck is there but it’s not as egregious as I thought. It’s actually quite balanced, and can be strategized against fairly.

100% luck based. The game will “randomly” sabotage your progress then try to force feed you micro transactions to make up for it. You can strategize all you want but the game doesn’t consider the context at all when giving you your next color goal, so it is literally a matter of luck. I can guarantee with utmost certainty anyone who plays this will either waste money or hit the restart button many many times. Also, anytime it offers the micro transaction to remove ads and you decline you are almost guaranteed an ad at that moment. Sneaky, unfair, and money hungry are the only 3 terms i’d use to describe this game.

Needs fixing. Like some have said: Purchasing no ads or the bundle of tickets does NOT work. Furthermore, watching ads to get another box, revive, or anything like that is less than 50% chance it will work. Majority of the time you will have to choose to watch an ad again because the game acts like you never watched that ad. I’ve even had it not register the second watch to get another box. Now, to expand on the purchasing of NO ADS or any bundle, the games just doesn’t allow that. The screen blips for a second leaving you to believe you will be making that purchase, but it never happens. Good job at getting it up and running, but if you want more traffic, and therefor more money, you should probably fix these glaring issues.

I love this game, but…. It has issues. I keep trying to pay the $4.99 for no ads…because there are a LOT of ads…but it just flashes and doesn’t let me purchase. Very frustrating when you’re watching ad after ad after ad. Just to get to the next round. And that’s the other issue. Watch one video always turns into more. I spend more time watching the same cheesy, stupid videos for another game than actually playing this game. I want to play! So please fix your bugs so we can enjoy this game.

TOO MANY ADS. I get it.. Ads are necessary to help make the game free. But there needs to be a balance. It is exhausting to sit through a 30 second ad every time you need to start over or between what seems like every other level. Not only will I be deleting the game (which is a shame because I like it) but know refuse to download any of the games that miserably make me sit through their content. Just figure out a better balance. Or straight up just take away the free option. Because as it stands now, it completely ruins the experience.

Game is a revenue stream for developers. I’m not saying developers should not make money on their games but this one is a little over the top. Once you work your way up a few levels, the game is set up in a way to ensure you will not be able to complete a level without help. How do you get that help? By watching videos. Not just one but several in some cases. After awhile, it becomes very apparent that no strategy is needed for this game. You are simply there to watch videos in order to briefly play their game.

Its ok.. I have been playing this game for a couple of weeks now. It’s OK, but I have some concerns about the game mechanics. Sometimes, when you move up a level, it’s unclear how the game processes color matches. For example, if I need to match green, but there’s no green on the board, it becomes impossible to progress. How can I continue if the required color isn’t available? They give you five slots in total to move around the screws; however, you can only use four because if you use the last one, the game will be over. This is especially frustrating when there’s no green in sight for me to complete the three screws color.

Wanna love, but bugs stop the credits from working. I loved this game until about a week or so ago (right around the latest update). Now when I purchase credits and attempt to use them, they are deducted from my total, but I'm not given the "clear screws", "extra box", "extra hole" as requested with the credit. Other times I'll simply try and watch a video to gain a tool and will watch 5 or 6 videos before I give up and move forward without the tool as it never credits my account. It will simply go back to the watch video or use credit screen.

watch ads to win. it’s fun and challenging but there’s a certain point where you just can’t win without needing extra boxes to place your screws and each one requires an AD to watch so you can gain one. You don’t get to keep your extra boxes when you finally move onto the next level. i’m at level 20 and for the past five levels I have had to watch ADs to be able to get help and pass. It will take me hours just to pass ONE level. This is ridiculous. It’s fun and all but they make it difficult to the point you NEED to watch an AD to pass :(

Fun! Hardly any ads!. Game is functionally broken, there are five open screw slots, but the game “Fails” as soon as you occupy the last slot even if there are moves left. For example if I use the last screw slot and that reveals more screws that I can play it doesn’t allow you to actually play them, it immediately fails you for taking up that last slot. Other bugs include not being able to pay for the Ad free version or for the 10 card pack. I’m actually really enjoying this game, but I feel like I fail, even though there are available moves. If they at least fix this, it would go along way towards making this game a lot more enjoyable and less frustrating. Until this is fixed, I have to give it a lot less stars that it truly deserves.

Difficulty levels are randomized. I like to challenge myself to solve the puzzles without needing any extra boxes (especially if I don’t have internet access so got no choice) and I have noticed that it would be literally impossible to progress without getting extra boxes sometimes at the very beginning of the level and some other times at the very end which means that the same level would have completely different difficulty levels each time you play because the bolts colors are actually randomized which means the challenge is meaningless as well as the level numbers. Lost all interest in the game once I realized that.

Rigged??? (kind of). When you play the game, it starts off good. But, once you get into the higher levels… You really can’t escape from the ads Sometimes the screw boxes show colors that you can’t even obtain since it’s all covered, which is annoying. Because of this, you would have to watch annoyingly long ads to obtain more than two screw boxes. This has been happening to the point I have to watch ads for literally almost every level… Please fix that screw boxes thing. Otherwise, the game is good.

Ads=👎🏻. I have the free version. I get that there are going to be advertisements with the free version. Just a heads up anyone planning on just getting the free version, consider yourself warned. The amount and length of ads each time is extremely excessive. Plan on getting blasted with a minimum of 1.5 minutes of ads that you can’t get anywhere without watching them. There have been many times I would watch the ad to progress and it is like I never watched the ad so in order to move I would have to watch the ads again. I have resorted to killing the game, start the level over instead of waiting for the ads. Game 👍🏼, the amount of ads 👎🏻.

Bad game that exists solely to get users to watch ads. Too much RNG makes many puzzles impossible without buying things or watching ads. It started out fun and this one makes you think instead of giving you a stupidly easy puzzle, which I loved. The problem started when I got a handful of puzzles in and realized that most puzzles are not possible, unless you buy tools/extra slots or watch ads (that take around 2 minutes to get through) for those things. That’s a terrible design. It should be possible but very hard without ads. It seems the screws it asks for are random, and it’s entirely possible for it to ask for screws that are buried behind several layers (even if you are strategic and leave certain pieces dangling).

Ad-free was a waste. I enjoy the game itself. However, the ads to unlock boxes is highly frustrating and takes more time than the actual game. With each unlocking taking at least 90 seconds. This is increasingly frustrating when it’s the same ad on repeat. I decided I liked the game enough to pay for no ads, but that was a waste of $5. In fact, it was a complete lie. It still requires ads to unlock. If they want to make unlocking a challenge, they could make puzzles to solve or something else for those who pay for no ads. If it weren’t for the ads, especially the length of them, it would be a great game. Feels like a scam when the No Ads version still required as many. I wish I would’ve deleted the app instead of purchasing.

Not worth the aggravation. 1. It won’t let you buy the no ad version 2. There’s no way of earning new boxes. You have to watch about five minutes of ads just to get an extra anything 3. It gives two boxes and once’s the holes are filled up game over when it shouldn’t be 4. If you don’t mind tons of ads to get extra boxes or holes this game is for you. And you don’t get to keep them. You have to do it for each game. 5. To get to level 30 I spent 20 dollars just to keep from watching so many ads and you have to either spend money or keep watching ads. 6. To begin every new level you have ads to watch I’ve learned to close it out and go back in after each level so I don’t have to watch the ads. 7. There are times you have to watch several ads in a row to get an extra hole or an extra box. One ad is 3-5 minutes long and you may have to watch 3 ads to get an extra anything and you don’t keep it for the next level. You have to start over. 9. IMO it’s not worth it

Not worth playing as of right now.. Far too many ads. There is an add after every single round. Even if you lose and DONT press “revive” it will give an ad. Also they only give 2 colors at a time and it’s entirely based on luck of whether or not you can use them. It’s almost impossible to tell what screws are under the “glass” bc it’s colored and when you think you are almost done, it adds more layers of “glass” and screws. No matter how smart you are, you will lose over half the time and then have to watch an ad before you can retry the level. I’ve started leaving the app and opening it back up just to avoid watching the same 30-60 second ad over and over again. Honestly, between the “luck of the draw” levels and the excessive amount of ads, it’s not worth the aggravation.

Reviews Are Too Cruel. Yes, this game is unfair sometimes (or most of the time). Yes, it can be buggy. But people’s reviews are too harsh! This game does not deserve a one star or even a three star review. It’s not THAT bad. This game is addicting, and makes you think, if I where you, I would get this game. But, like someone said in their review, I could be doing batter things to unwind than this, that actually give me a reward for doing it. In my case, sewing. But your not me, get the game, or don’t. All I’m trying to say, is this game is better than people say it is. Thanks for reading, C ya!

I finally gave up. I spent 3 days working on a single puzzle (not solid, just for fun occasionally), watching ads to get more boxes and revivals. Still couldn’t solve it. I always get stuck at the end with boxes that have no colors even showing. But I’m finally going to delete it. It just feels too random, or worse, like it stacks the deck against you. And in case that wasn’t enough, while it makes you think you have to watch one ad to get the bonus, I’ve actually had to sit through 2 or 3 ads most of the time before it will register that I watched. Or maybe that’s intentional. And these aren’t short ads. We’re talking 1-1.5 minutes each, with 4-6 screens that you have to close out of before the next one will start it’s timer. Maybe this is my sign to stop with the games all together. I’ve got better real life things I could be doing to unwind that will actually give me something in return for my efforts and time.

I like this game!. I would say I even “love” this game but… as I continue to play the game gets harder. That’s good. I like a challenge but in order to get tools to help win each level, you have to watch way too many ads. Last night I tapped the box to add an extra box. I had to go through seven (7) ads to get that box! That’s outrageous! I spent more time watching ads than I did playing the game! And the option to add more tools (hammer to break the glass, have all pins removed from the filled up holes, etc.) I have seen it offered twice and I’m on level 57?! An easy fix? I don’t know but something needs to be done.

For Luis.. This game has taken over my life, and even ruined it. i was recently kicked out of my english class because i was playing this game, while being yelled at by my mother i decided to start playing the game once again, later that week i was at my girlfriends and she was going on and on about how here pet eagle had died, his name was Luis. I then opened up screw pin jam and started playing it as she was crying, she then dumped me. Other then that, wonderful game.

Fun game, but…... I am really enjoying this game! It is fun and challenging, however the ads are unbearable. Literally every extra move or even after completion of a puzzle are ads,ads, and more ads. I’ve even tried purchasing to go ad free but it does not go through, it’s like they have to put it on there as an option but they have no intention of letting you play ad free. I am already looking for other apps/games that are similar. Great game, just need to make some adjustments, like not having an ad every 5 seconds.

Great game except…... The game play is fun and addictive. The ads are ridiculous, 4 or 5 ads for and extra box or to break a glass. I get that ads are necessary because it’s a free game. I even told some friends about it and warned them of the ads. Let me know when you tone down the ads and I’ll come back . So of the top rated games out there don’t have this many ads. Have I said ads enough? Ads ads ads ads ads . There ya go get this game if you like ads. I’m outta here, thanks for ruining the game with all those ads !!!! 😁

Ads are relentless. This game is fun and really makes you use your brain. The problem is the ads. They are extremely over the top. As others have said it’s almost impossible to complete a higher level without watching multiple videos. I recently hit level 31 and the ads have almost doubled. I got to the point that I was willing to spend the money to go ad free and for whatever reason every time I try to buy it, it gives me a quick hour glass and then does nothing. If I can’t find a way to get rid of the ads I will be deleting this game from my device

Needs improvement. It's an ok game, I actually like that you have to strategize more to complete the game. However, too often it gives you a color to fill with screws but there's absolutely none of that color, not even on the level below three one you're on. Also, you can't actually use the five spots to save screws, only four cause the last one end your round - makes no sense. Also, the amount of times I've watched ads too try and get the third or fourth box color to put screws in and out just does nothing. And the ads they make you watch are so long, so I watch a minute and a half ad and then don't get the extra box, what's the point. It's a shame cause it could be a really good game

Fun but…. I’m actually enjoying this game daily but I’ve gotten to level 156 and can’t get an additional box/suitcase, like, AT ALL! I’ve watched probably 10 ads to unlock a 3rd box with no luck, so I watched ad after ad to clear the screws and then finally passed 156. Got to 157 and after the 2nd ad, box still wouldn’t unlock. Is this a glitch or what? I’m going to eventually give up as I’m giving the time to allow these ads to run, but I’d like my darn box to unlock. Please fix.

Obvious cash grab. Whatever “developer” coded/designed this game needs to take some classes because the random colored boxes are randomly generated so winning is completely random. There is zero skill needed because it’s all luck based, while sure you could argue that you need to decide which bolt to take out to open more opportunities it’s all luck based. No matter how many levels you retry you have to keep watching ads if you even want a chance at winning. This game is an obvious ad cash grab and you should not support this game because even if you pay for no ads you’ll just watch more ads to get more boxes to just lose. Complete piece of trash.

Can’t help but to laugh. The game is interesting, but I really don’t like developers who try to force you to spend money and I say force let me explain when I get close to winning the colors change in background or there is no color you can use at all so it’s either pay for another box or space or keep trying I’ve played the same level 20 times to be 100% sure i wasn’t lying on them. And I’ll be my life on it they rigged it so you p2w lol I understand wanting money but to make a deal with the devil for it h3ll NO. If you don’t believe me try it im sure they not going to change it. Why because a idiot is born every day! Im just not going to be one for them. And yes I put money is mmorpg games so it’s not a problem like i said but being forced too is 🤷🏽‍♀️

Not winnable without payment/ads. I’ve played an embarrassing number of puzzle/strategy games over the years and I’m very adept at solving them. This game is utterly infuriating and extremely poorly designed (at least from the player’s perspective) because the only way to beat the 2nd+ level is to either watch ads or pay for tickets to unlock additional cases. I attempted the level with just 2 cases literally 15 times and not once was it winnable. Additionally, since the levels are completely random/procedurally generated, there’s no increasing difficulty and no way to strategize playing differently on your next run. It’s all just completely random. I wouldn’t dream of giving these devs money but if I had I would be So mad because you literally Have to use the tickets you buy for the game to even be playable. This is the worst kind of money grubbing garbage in the App Store and I’m shocked that it’s allowed to be so bad and still for sale. It’s unfortunate because the mechanic is fun, but the shameless cash grab is just infuriating.

Scam and unsolvable. This game is a scam. It would be a lot more fun if you were able to actually solve the puzzles in the first few tries. The game does not provide the actually colors you need to solve the puzzle so you have to watch ads over and over in order to “solve” the puzzles. The hot deals in the in game store can’t be bought, whenever you click on them it does nothing but then when you click on a regular priced item you are able to purchase it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD GET A DIFFERENT SCREW PUZZLE GAME!!! Some how this has a rating of 4.4 of 5 but I don’t see a single review higher than 2 stars.

Enjoyed it immensely until…. At level 156 the “unlock box” stopped working. I can select the option and move on to watch an ad, but the boxes (2) no longer unlock. The only way to continue the level is to fill the temporary holes and choose “clear screws”, watch an ad, repeat ad nauseam, and/or select “break glass” to watch an ad, then play until the temporary holes are filled and again choose “clear screws.” This process will get you through the level, but requires literally tens of ads and no strategy. Takes all the enjoyment out. Surely this is a bug that needs fixing.

Bug makes this game useless. Ive been enjoying this game but I am now at a level where it’s inevitable I will need to watch an ad, minimum, for each game. However, lately, if you chose to watch an ad to unlock a box, after the ad is done playing, the box doesn’t unlock. It’s really frustrating, because you can spend almost 4 minutes on ads and never receive the product. I stopped playing the game, hoping the bug would get fixed. But I see it’s still not addressed. It’s not worth playing with this bug. If it’s not fixed, I wouldn’t waste your time! Uninstalling soon...

Impossible to Play. The game would have been fun if not for the fact that the puzzles are randomly generated. The screws that are in the puzzle often do not match with the boxes that appear, making it impossible to even play the game. You can watch ads to get abilities and boxes, but the ads are extremely long, up to 90 seconds, and often freezes at the end so the only things you can do is close the application, which restarts the level. I enjoy the idea of this game but I gave it one star because it is infuriating to play at the state it is in now. If they fixed the levels and removed the 90 seconds ads, I would probably give this game a 4 or 5 star review.

Pay to play or watch ads without limit. The only way to progress is to watch ads, otherwise you get stuck on the same point over and over. After ages of redoing I made it to level 28 without watching the ads but from there it was impossible. Must have tried over 100 times with no way to progress. What a scam. It’s the same ads over and over too, no thanks.

Have no issue watching adds. I had no issue watching the adds when I needed to use a tool and I am on level to get to the next level 152 but now I will watch an add and won’t even get the tool. It has been happening for the last two days and I have tried to get in contact with the app developer but it just takes me to a privacy page. They have no intent of helping anyone with these issues.

Doesn’t do what it says….. No ads should mean no ads. I was happy to pay for the upgrade only to find it doesn’t allow you to. Watching ads doesnt always trigger the reward and having to watch an ad before commencing every level is plain ridiculous.

Soft Lock. After Not so long of playing I have noticed that playing without paying for anything or watching the ads that help you, you cannot progress in a level which is bad business practice to make it so players have to make you money before you’ll allow them to progress, it happens every level now that I cannot put any screws anywhere or won’t have enough room to make it to the next layer of the level because the only screws there are of different colour. This game earns a 1 star review because of this.

Back to basics!!. Great game, plays as advertised. I was stuck on level two all afternoon and no ad interruptions which is fantastic. Pay for power ups if you need them other than that use your skills. Love it, very fun time killer that gives a real feeling of accomplishment

scam. this game is fun and satisfying BUT, unlike it is advertised, it only gives you two boxes of screws to fill, and the other two you have to watch ads to unlock, every single time/level you want to unlock them. and it doesn’t even work after you watch an ad so you have to watch it twice. that would be fine if they didn’t make it absolutely impossible to finish the level without unlocking another box. this app is a complete scam to get you to watch ads and/or pay for the tickets to unlock the boxes. i’m so disappointed it would be so fun otherwise

In app purchases not working. I have tried for several days to Purchase no adds. Clicking on No ads button and purchase process does not open. Enjoying the game but the ads are intrusive.

Forced ads/purchases to complete levels. Game looks great and is a decent time killer. That being said they force ads or purchase to have enough slots to pass the RNG needed to pass a level. There’s literally times where there is no options that will work and it’s either restart or watch an advertisement. The worst part is 1 in 3 ads won’t actually trigger rewards watching it all the way through. Then there is every 4-5 restarts that will trigger another ad on its own

Too many Ads. I’m absolutely addicted to playing this game, but I’m disappointed about how many ads there are and they go for sooooooooooooo long it’s becoming a joke. I’m so fed up about them that I’m about to delete the game. Such a shame too because my daughter and I have fun doing races to see who finishes the level first.

Level 9 scam. I downloaded the app and find really fun at the beginning. Challenging of course, but with few tries you can pass the first levels. Then comes level 9… this is just a scam to make you watch adds in order to pass the level. I have been trying these level for 30 minutes when I notice that whatever I do i get stuck a the same point with zero possibilities to do anything. The only way to pass is to actually watch a adds and get any power app. That not challenging, that is scam.

Is this a problem for others too?. The game is great and I like playing it to relax, but there is one thing I have found out. When I have my Bluetooth headphones connected even when I have turned off the music and sound it still plays until I turn it on and off again, also when playing it without headphones and my phone volume up with the music and sound on.. it doesn’t play? I have closed the app and opened it again multiple times to see if it’ll fix itself but to no success. Also sometimes when I go to watch an ad for another box or a space like others have said it at times doesn’t give the reward and but watching another after seems to work.

The 5 star reviews are a load of sh— First level is a walk in the park — anything onwards requires you watch ads to be able to get “2nd chances”, or perks to be able to succeed. The idea behind the game is cool, but I deleted it after an hour after having realized they just want your money. Look at the symbols on the top. ;)

Genuinely horrible, actual ad farm you really can’t beat a level without watching at least 2 ads, it’s nothing like any of the ads specifically for this game, and also the ads they display on the app and weird and some of them have a very subtle but soft p*rn kind of vibe that makes it concerning if kids are playing. By the time you beat a lot of the levels a weird new mechanic is introduced where there is a chain blocking off certain screws that cannot be broken without selecting a different screw, and the frame rate dropped so low it was actually straining my eyes. If you want a game like this there’s lots on the App Store and this is for sure the worst you could settle for!

Endless ads makes the game annoying. Fun game but too much ads. Each ad is at least 30s long and can’t skip after 5 to 10s like other apps can. Each game only opens 2 pin slots, need to watch ads to get more slots, but often times after I finished a long ad the pin slot doesn’t open, need to repeat this process and watch at least 1 or 2 more ads before the slots are released. I understand the ads but this is really too much.

Too many long ads. I played many levels but eventually ended up deleting the game. Most levels are set to be impossible to finish without adding a hole or using and aid and then you need to watch an ad, and the problem with their ads is that they are the most malignant among all the games I played and watched ads for. In this game each ad lasts at least 1.5-2 minutes and needs you to click several times. Eventually I got so sick of watching 1-2 ads in each level and ended up deleting it although I liked playing it.

Sometimes they make you go through a cycle of adds to get a reward, which is 1 to 2 minutes. Small Suggestion. The game is amazing. I would suggest when we’ve watched the ads to get access to the extra boxes & holes we should get to keep that access until we lose. We shouldn’t have to watch the ads for every level when we win. Other than that it’s PERFECT!!!!

Game is a revenue stream for developers. I’m not saying developers should not make money on their games but this one is a little over the top. Once you work your way up a few levels, the game is set up in a way to ensure you will not be able to complete a level without help. How do you get that help? By watching videos. Not just one but several in some cases. After awhile, it becomes very apparent that no strategy is needed for this game. You are simply there to watch videos in order to briefly play their game.

Fix it. Fun and challenging but the majority of the time the ads for a reward don’t work. So I sit there and wasted a whole minute watching an ad about something stupid (yeah, they’re literally one minute ads, it’s ridiculous). Ad there are a bunch of ads and half the time I can’t skip them until they’re already done. But $5 for no ads is outrageous for a game that isn’t that great and wasn’t even like the ad

100% luck based. The game will “randomly” sabotage your progress then try to force feed you micro transactions to make up for it. You can strategize all you want but the game doesn’t consider the context at all when giving you your next color goal, so it is literally a matter of luck. I can guarantee with utmost certainty anyone who plays this will either waste money or hit the restart button many many times. Also, anytime it offers the micro transaction to remove ads and you decline you are almost guaranteed an ad at that moment. Sneaky, unfair, and money hungry are the only 3 terms i’d use to describe this game.

Repetitive. I’m on level 75. Feel as it’s all repetitive ive n over again. It doesn’t really get harder to challenge oneself. After awhile it gets boring n silly. In addition. A game a board takes 2.5-3 minutes. Then you need to wait n watch ads takes 3-4 min which are the same over n over again. It’s annoying. Cute game but if nothing changes after level 100 (took me 2 weeks to get here) I’ll probably delete the game and find another to start with. I find it petty to be in this situation tbh.

Waste of time. You really can’t progress even at the lowest levels unless you want to spend money or watch ads constantly. The ads are a minimum of 2 minutes long and be prepared to watch 3 or 4 during each level plus another one between levels. It’s really a shame because it has some fun game mechanics and I’d be willing to pay a few bucks for the app if they’d just let you play instead of trying to bleed you for time and money. There are so many games out there that are worthwhile, skip this one.

Just a way to put ads in your face. You can be doing so well but the game will put you in a spot where you have to watch an ad to get past the stage even if you reset and try again it will keep happening then after you watch one it will still not give you the item you should have gotten from the ad most of the times so now you gotta watch again and you can still get the item and still not get the color you need causing to restart and watch ads again.

Could be fun, but…. I’m on the second level and it’s literally impossible. The colors it asks you to pull are completely random in relation to the screws you actually have in the puzzle, and no matter how efficient you’re being, it’s impossible without getting a power up by watching an ad. I even caved once and watched one, which was 75 seconds long, and when it reached the end, I couldn’t click out of it and collect my reward. It’s a shame because otherwise the game seems fun, but now I will be deleting it :(.

Game is rigged to make you pay. I got through the first two levels fine. I have replayed level 3 probably 30 times and it is impossible without paying or watching a bunch of ads. No level of skill will help you. And if you do choose to pay to get an extra slot, it’s not even permanent. It only gives you the extra slot for 15 rounds, then it goes away again. If it was a small one-time fee, I’d maybe consider it. But something that you have to keep paying for over and over for is too much. Going to uninstall now.

Stopped working after level 155. Didn’t mind watching adds to clear the spots but after level 155 it no longer allows me to watch adds to get the rewards. Or let me correct that it will play the adds but won’t give out any rewards anymore. So if you’re trying to get to a high level of this game you can’t do anything past level 160 because it won’t give you anymore slots than 2 and those two colors aren’t shown in the beginning of the puzzle

OMG I LOVE MR SKIDDY. This game is not only the peak mobile game, providing an easy starting point and improving from there. This game also has a very in depth and complicated puzzle solving system requiring not only timing but also precision to complete. This along with its numerous levels provides the optimal experience for me while playing as it encourages me to be fully engaged with the game, increasing enjoyment.

Rigged??? (kind of). When you play the game, it starts off good. But, once you get into the higher levels… You really can’t escape from the ads Sometimes the screw boxes show colors that you can’t even obtain since it’s all covered, which is annoying. Because of this, you would have to watch annoyingly long ads to obtain more than two screw boxes. This has been happening to the point I have to watch ads for literally almost every level… Please fix that screw boxes thing. Otherwise, the game is good.

Could not play more than 5 mins. The game is full of ads, I couldn’t even play for more than 5 mins because of instructions caused by the ads. I understand that you want people to pay in the game but what is the point of providing a free game that stop you after 5-10 clicks to watch an ad and you ask to pay to do anything else. You are anyways getting the money out of ads, why not just make the game paid you get the money up front. Deleted the game after 5 mins. Really good game but. It is a very good game, but I wish there were less at and more time to play because a lot of of the times once I finish like one or two or I get it wrong I had to watch an ad and the second thing is I should be able to have at least 123 or four well I should be able to have at least three open boxes so it’s easier for us to play, but that’s my only concerns. Not worth it and no way to contact support. So there is no setting in game to contact support. They have advertised 10 bucks for $0.99 however it doesn’t work and you can only buy the store amount which is 10 bucks for $2.99. So can’t tell anyone this isn’t working. You can’t get through the levels without it. Also I thought when I bought an extra box to play the game it was a final purchase it isn’t so the next round or if you lose and restart you have to repurchase the box.

Misleading ad. I downloaded this app based on a playable ad that allowed you to remove screws from a 3D house. The ad allowed you to spin the house to see other sides. I played upwards of 80 levels thinking I would/could eventually unlock levels that do this. There is even an “Architecture” set of levels where you “earn” various structure icons by playing levels. Nothing. I’ve since seen the SAME AD for another screw puzzle game. Giant disappointment. Don’t bother to download if you want 3D. It’s just an ad delivery system.

Finally the ability to buy the needed tools. As so many people have said. You have to watch ads to be able to complete a level. Then they show an ad at the beginning AND end of every level. I enjoy the game and I'm HAPPY to pay to bypass the ads. But please make sure all your links work. None of the ad free options work. And none of the small packs work. Only the higher priced packs give the option to buy. Please fix so I can continue to play

I would have said it’s the RNG but when there are two colors to fill but only given 2 pegs that match the color (one of each) and the rest fill up the 5 reserved holes you need to watch an AD or pay AD free or Pay for the boosters just to continue the level. Its a predatory tactic and should not be played unless developers correct this.

In App Purchases Is Selective!. So! I like this game. However, I wanted to remove the ads. It won’t allow you to purchase “no ads” at all even though there are two different options. At first, I thought it may be a mistake, but then it wouldn’t let me purchase one of the items that they kept spamming me with at 33% off. I could purchase it at full price though if I wanted. Obviously, they want to make as much money as possible without honoring certain ones that would cause them to lose money, ie no ridiculous amount of ads or the discounted ingame currency. So I uninstalled.

Was fun, until it wasn’t. I enjoy the game itself, and in the beginning I purchased a couple of small packages with no issues to play. Then the last couple of time I bought something, it never game me credits. Thought maybe my card just didn’t go through, but went back and found that the last few did charge and no credits to the game. I messaged the customer service multiple times as they said to do in FAQ’s, but have never gotten response yet. Game can be fun, but don’t buy anything.

Fun but just skip it. The game has a really fun concept and I definitely enjoy it but it has too many glitches and ads if you want to progress. There are also odd choices from the developers on how the game itself functions. You have free spaces to move screws to but if you fill the free screw spaces the game ends, even if that move gave you access to new screws that could fill a box and get you a new box. Essentially, you lose when you use all the free screw places instead of when you run out of moves. If you do download the game, my guess is you will have it for 3-4 days and then delete if like I did.

Great game but…. I really like this one better than all the other screw pin games however the ads are horrible. After watching a 2 minute ad you go back to the game and it did not register the “watch” so you either need to rewatch or exit… but wait… there is another ad! I know what you are thinking, just purchase the ad free version. Nope, it doesn’t even allow you to do that. Believe me I tried just get get away for the long long ads. When you try and hit the ad free button nothing happens. Going to delete it before I go crazy!

Fun game, but…... I am really enjoying this game! It is fun and challenging, however the ads are unbearable. Literally every extra move or even after completion of a puzzle are ads,ads, and more ads. I’ve even tried purchasing to go ad free but it does not go through, it’s like they have to put it on there as an option but they have no intention of letting you play ad free. I am already looking for other apps/games that are similar. Great game, just need to make some adjustments, like not having an ad every 5 seconds.

Thumbs down. There is no help in fixing bugs. My game got to a point where it would not let me open an addition box. I’d watch multiple videos and still it won’t open. I paid 4.99 to remove adds and after many frustrating tries to get the extra boxes open I deleted the app only to find that I am not able to restore my purchase. So now I am out that money. If you are going to make a game you should make sure there is a way to get help and communicate to and get help from someone.

Game is fun but. The game is fun but there a few things that I have notice since I’ve been playing. lately everytime I click to watch an add and watch the whole add to get a new box so I can get rid of more screws at once when the add is over it brings me back to the game but it doesn’t give me the box and lately every add is like a minute long with four adds into one add so idk what’s going on but whoever is over this game needs to fix that because it’s really getting annoying thank you have a bless day

Great game. Amazing game, good graphics but ads are annoying. Though I had to delete because it was taking over my life. My screen time for this game was embarrassing and I’ve stayed up till 4/5 in the morning playing it. I could’ve used that time to study but all I could think of was beating the level without watching annoying ads to make it easier.

Great game way to many ads. I love this game and it is very addictive. I see there was a recent update to finally buy an ad free version but there is some kind of bug because it will not do anything when you go to purchase the add free. You all are missing out on money on the ad free I would have already purchased that but not working… please fix asap! It that got fixed you would get 5 stars

Needed some reimbursement. Game has been going good until today I went to add a new box at the time I had 14 add on tokens or what ever they are called and it not doing anything. By that I mean it wasn’t adding the extra color block so I restarted the level. Well 7 games later I realized that even though it wasn’t being added I was losing the tokens. Now those cost real money and yeah I’m going to need that money back or reimbursed for tokens lost. I have since restarted the game and cut my phone off and back on again.

Colorblind. I like the game. It’s a great distraction and fun. I don’t mind sitting through ads when needing to. My concern is that I waste a lot of slots due to not being able to see the difference in the colors. For me brown and red look the same. Pink and grey. Yellow and green. It would be nice for us colorblind people if instead of just colors you change the shape of the screw. Have a Phillips head, a flat head, star, triangle, and so on. Would make the game a lot better for us. Thanks.

TOO MANY ADS. I get it.. Ads are necessary to help make the game free. But there needs to be a balance. It is exhausting to sit through a 30 second ad every time you need to start over or between what seems like every other level. Not only will I be deleting the game (which is a shame because I like it) but know refuse to download any of the games that miserably make me sit through their content. Just figure out a better balance. Or straight up just take away the free option. Because as it stands now, it completely ruins the experience.

Fun if you like ads. Past level 10 you can only win watching ads. I don’t mind ads every so often, but when I can’t strategize and win a level without ads I don’t see the point in a “puzzle” game. Watch ads in order to win doesn’t count as a puzzle game but an enhanced ad with a game sometimes. Either make the ads not 1.5 hours long so I can get through it or make it at least possible if you are good with puzzles.

Too Greedy With The Ads. You’ll spend more time watching ads than playing the game. Sometimes when you agree to watch an ad to get an extra box, the box doesn’t even show up and you end up having to watch another ad. They’re basically trying to extort people into paying for it by making it obnoxious. Then people are in the reviews saying they paid to remove ads and it didn't work. I like the game but the ads make it not worth it. Never seen more ads on a game in my life

Fun to play while you can!. It’s fun but once you level up a little it’s gets to where you can’t go on with the level cause you keep getting the same color with nothing but one color not it. You don’t win any bonuses to help revive, NO you have to buy or watch videos to live on or start over, over and over again. Never play any other game where you don’t win any bonuses to help with the game. I’m so tired of watching ad after ad after ad. And is not the same game shown in the ad to get this game.

Fix remove adds please. As many others, we would like to actually pay to remove the ads, which is I believe why you make apps to make money we cannot even give you our money because the app will not allow us to remove ads or make any purchases for that matter. Love the game great fun however we’ll stop playing. If there is no option to remove the ads the buttons do not work to remove them for a pay option.

Fun the ads are ridiculous. The game itself is enjoyable, but the game’s rating drops down a lot because the ads are wayyyyyy too long. It’s also really annoying that you’ll watch ads to gain a new spot or revive the round….but after over 2 minutes of ads, nothing happens. You can’t even move to the next round without watching an insane amount of ads! I get that you need ads to make money, but you need to take it down several notches.

Seriously with the ads!. I do enjoy playing this game. It challenging but it gives the option to have no ads other than ones to get the extra boxes but it won’t work. The only thing you can buy is cards. I tried deleting it and reinstalling and it got rid of all my progress and took me back to the beginning and still the no ads option will not allow purchases.

Way too many ads!. Way too many ads and when you watch an ad for the booster it doesn’t give you credit at least 80% of the time! It makes you watch the ad at least 2-3 times and it’s absolutely ridiculous it makes you not want to play the game. I understand a few adds but you watch an ad every boost up, you watch it every level up. What really frustrates me is that they don’t give you credit the first time you watch it.

Excruciatingly long ads. The game is interesting and addictive but it requires you to sit through ten-minute ads for games you have no interest in and if you try to play on social media to wait out the ad, you come back and find the ad was paused while you were trying to make more efficient use of your time and starts playing again where you left off. Other games might have ads, but they don’t force the player to abandon playing the game out of an instinct of self-preservation to prevent dying of boredom while watching ads.

Way too many ads and early levels being incomplete able.. 1st level pretty easy straight forward but you get to level 3 and it is a different story because of random generation it can make incomplete able. For example I played level 3 and it generated only tiles that I didn’t need and when i watched videos for that extra slot it didn’t even give me the reward that I just watched a 60 - 80 sec ad for. Game needs to be balanced and the ad bug needs to be fixed, decrease the amount of minute long ads too. This is what turns players away allll the time. Especially me.

Could be better. I like strategy games and this is definitely one of the better strategy games. BUT it forces you to watch an ad any time you need a third or fourth box for screws, which is a bit ridiculous in itself. But when the ads crash the game and cause you start the level all over again it is truly infuriating. So if they can find a way to fix it or make it where they force less ads that would be great

Great game except…... The game play is fun and addictive. The ads are ridiculous, 4 or 5 ads for and extra box or to break a glass. I get that ads are necessary because it’s a free game. I even told some friends about it and warned them of the ads. Let me know when you tone down the ads and I’ll come back . So of the top rated games out there don’t have this many ads. Have I said ads enough? Ads ads ads ads ads . There ya go get this game if you like ads. I’m outta here, thanks for ruining the game with all those ads !!!! 😁

Game Requires you to Watch Ad. The game is fine. The first few levels you can get through without watching an ad until after the level. But once you get into a higher level, the devs have made it impossible to beat it. Without watching another ad or paying money to unlock an extra slot for pins. I kept thinking maybe I’m just not solving it correctly, but alas, it is impossible to beat without using an ad. Takes away from the fun of the brain-rot of a game this is.

Love the game but…. For at least a couple of weeks, every time I play it is forcing me to repeatedly watch ads to get the item I was wanting like a new box, hammer or something else. Tonight I have even had to watch 3 ads to get the box! Prior to June 2024 if you clicked to add a box or other items the game gave you one ad and you got your item. Please fix this!!! Then give me a bunch of free items for all the ads I watched and shouldn’t have had to!

Can’t purchase no ad version or discount deals on app. I love this game, but you need to watch full ads between levels. They list options to buy the ad free versions, but when you tap on it, it doesn’t take you to anywhere. It’s not an option. The only thing you can do is buy tickets. The time spent on ads between levels is most of the time unbearable. Most times I play one level then move on to another game. Please fix this so I can spend money on your game.

Fun but impossible. i’ve read a lot of reviews saying that the game is just a ploy for you to watch ads and i totally agree. level 2 (2!!!!!) took me an hour without watching any ads. i guess they got me cause i play this all the time but i wish i could actually beat the levels at a decent rate, it would make it so much more fun. i tried to search up a strategy to beat it cause it’s so hard but turns out the strategy is watching ads 🙃🙃

I like the game but…. This game has way too many ads. To get another box you have to watch ads. They should give you the box if you earned it to allow you to have more room for screws. Each level going up you only get two boxes. The developer needs to go back and rethink how to make the game better instead of frustrate people with ads. No prizes like the hammers, extra holes etc. Also you really need to stop forcing people to buy things. There should be boxes given and able to keep them for the next level.
