Feels just like our old friend. If you played the previous version of this game and were wondering if you should upgrade, the answer is unquestionably yes. This updated version retains the feel of the old game but is more streamlined and has more features that really bring the experience of owning a football club in to your hands like never before. I’m so thankful the development team has taken time to make this game right and would like to place on record my thanks for their efforts. They’ve done football fans everywhere a true service.

Not much changed from the old one. Update the transfer like have theopportunity to look for players to transfer to the club

Worth the $4 upgrade. For those that played the previous game, they made a great game better without compromising any of the things that made it great For those that didn’t, it’s basically a very simple manager game that you can pick up and put down easily and is still in depth enough to get immersed and works quite decently. Always have great fun playing the old game and this one is even better

Easy to lose track of time. Bought the game, thought i’d check it out for 15 minutes. Ended up spending 3 hours straight. 10/10

Addicted already. Such a novel take on the football management sim, I love the back room setting with enough focus on the “game” without needing to get into too much nitty gritty. Great advances in every level from the first version, all football fans should play this!

Pay to Win. This game is fun, but they purposely make the money aspect tight so you’ll have to spend real money to keep your team afloat as you get higher up in the game. When your team is an average of 70 overall, buying 75 overall players costs a good amount of your budget. But when your team is 85 overall, 75 overall players are literally just sold for free or worse, you need to pay to cut them or else your manager gets mad they’re still on the team. For a game you pay to own, it absolutely should not be operating this way. I spent a few bucks trying to get by the hard times, but it was quickly apparent I was going to have to keep spending money to play the game and have any level of success.

Love the game for years. I know this is more of a remake than a remastered but I hope a few features I wish you guys added was the ability to check other league tables or even to view European table without having to see it when the week came up and also the ability to renegotiate with a club when selling players instead of rejecting out right and hoping the club comes back with another offer.

Simple, addictive, and loads of replay value!. I’ve been playing the first game in this series for several years, and I was very excited to see that a sequel had been released! The gameplay is very similar, but the second installment has added a few new features that make the game easier to grasp than the first game did (like knowing how your youth team compares to the “average” for your league, for example). All in all, this is a solid sequel that I don’t think any fans of the original will be getting tired of any time soon!

Cup success determines late game bankruptcy. Look I absolutely love this game, but the costs of moving from L2 to champ are absolutely only determined how ‘lucky’ and how well your team does in the cup competitions and how many times you draw ‘away’ to big opponents for ticket sales. I’m now on my 5th attempt to get to the prem league and it’s absolutely impossible to survive the massive jump in contracts and transfer fees unless if you are able to make good money from away game ticket sales in cup games. The home ground fans are completely inconsistent and I do 30% off season tickets every single season and make sure my stadium is at the right capacity to sustain the amount of average attendance for whatever league I’m in. Injuries also are insanely ramped up compared to chairman 1, over several games having 2-4 players out with 5+ month injuries is just completely unrealistic EVERY single season. I find it absolutely impossible to fund youth academy while also having a competitive training grounds every season. I honestly believe that chairman 2 is way over the top unfair to the player without ‘luck’ from away games in cup competitions to higher league sides. I was really hoping for more but I truely believe the developers have made this game too hard to beat without in app purchases of funding. Players transfers are an absolute joke, your lucky to even get 2-3 options of free transfers especially when your club is struggling after relegation and the system when if your relegated or just lose in playoffs all of your best players will completely refuse an option to extend the contact is just ridiculous, especially club legends or maxed out contract players. I might just go back to chairman 1 because it seemed the only way for you to go bankrupt is if your being stupid and buying way too many players and having everyone on max-semi max contacts. Here, injuries can make a predicted 10th and higher season go to relegation and eventual bankruptcy. Also the coach ‘play style’ system just ain’t it, it makes absolutely no difference to the game itself other than create more problems than adding more game enhancing features. Maybe I’m just having absolutely bad luck but this is my 5th attempt of going from bottom to L1/champ by 2055 and absolutely struggling to stay afloat once injuries start making easily survivable seasons turn out to be dooming relegation and somehow everytime I draw a champ/prem team in a cup it’s always a home game… fix the injuries, get rid of the players absolutely rejecting your team if somehow your relegated or missed promotion by a whisker and let fans be more consistent with home attendance especially after relegation. Clubs in real life don’t just drop from 6500 maxed out average attendance down to 2500-3500 average attendance (with cheaper tickets) just because they are relegated. Absolutely ridiculous

Great game. Sequel is an upgrade.. Having played a lot of the first Football Chairman game, I can say that this iteration maintains the wonderful feel of managing every aspect of your club. There have been some noticeable improvements to this version that have definitely improved the game experience. I particularly like the addition of the manager transfer shortlist and the player ratings. Added bonus is the game is playable offline.

Better than the first. Couple of extra features make it that bit better from the first! Particularly enjoy the hall of fame and kits. Would like the assists to show up in more screens, hopefully in a future update
