Airlearn - Language Learning Comments & Reviews 2026

Best Language Learning App. I came over to this app after seeing a tik tok saying it was better than a certain green bird, and I must say, it 100% is. I am learning Russian and have used the green bird app for a while and even paid for the membership, but I just felt like I was given words and phrases to memorize. Now that I am using Airlearn, I feel like I can actually learn instead of memorize. I am being given explanations for things, quizzes, and even fun facts about Russia. I just love it so so much. I went through 6 lessons of the green bird app and did not know that the different masculine and feminine words for different things. Within the first lesson on Airlearn I already know multiple examples of masculine and feminine words. The only thing I would change is that I wish there was a second where you can go and see all of the Russian characters and their pronunciations. That was the one thing that really helped me on the green bird app and that I still would like to reference on Airlearn. It really helps when someone can learn the alphabet before jumping into learning words. Maybe add some practice lessons for learning the letters too. I feel like with that addition, it could make more people feel much more comfortable with learning such a beautiful language.

Fun App But One suggestion!. I recently started using your app instead of Duolingo, and I really enjoy using it! I do have one suggestion though—we should be able to dress and change our cat character. My character would look great with a pair of fresh shades or maybe even a hat! What if I wanted a calico kitty instead? I’m sure many other users would enjoy this feature as well. Overall I do really enjoy the app and its features. I love the explanations about different words, such as why certain words are feminine/masculine, and why french people started using feminine versions of professions. The tidbits on french culture and things to know about France. The app is definitely more educational and fun than other apps I’ve tried. Apps for learning language aren’t always the best, but if I had to recommend one as a tool, I’d say Air for sure!

Diverse and effective. I love this app! It beats Duolingo’s excessive gamification, and actually goes in depth on grammar and scenarios when words are used. I have been learning Spanish on it for some time now and within a few months I’m able to speak some decent conversations! Although please add some more south Asian languages like Khmer, Vietnamese, and Lao please! I’d love the language diversity already! Update: for many users who don’t know go to the You tab, click on coins and the game coins you earn can be used to buy more hearts giving you options to buy 3,5,or max at 10. This is perfect for free version users as your spending game coins on lessons instead of real money for lessons on pro. Although if you want more features and access to infinite lessons there is no way around it unless you save up your game coins. Golden heart is also a rare reward lessons opportunity if you continue learning after the award pops up you get exactly 30mins of infinite learning on lessons and can earn a badge for it. The blue shields you’ll often see if you click on streak is to protect your streak if you have a shield and miss a day, when come you back it will count it as a day you have learned not messing up your streak. The max amount of shields you can have is 5 and for those who want more they can be earned or bought either game coins like hearts. I would recommend exploring the app for a week using these features before coming to terms with any judgements. As for app developers I feel I shouldn’t have to explain this to other users because it’s such a good app compared to others and as the creators you should be explaining how your own app works. I would recommend putting a tutorial tab on the bottom with the other tabs for new users. This is the only reason I’m changing my 5 stars to a 4, besides the fact I see lack in southeast (Khmer/ Cambodian, Lao, and Vietnamese, Malay, Indonesian, Filipino languages, etc.) representation in language apps, not just here but in other apps as well.

Its a great app! just a few problems... Whenever it comes to lessons, teaching multiple words all at once back to back is overwhelming, and it’s hard to focus on one word at a time. I personally struggle quite a bit with it because it’s hard to keep up with so many new words at once. Not to mention, most of the words it teaches me in the beginning don’t reoccur often so I often don’t remember it. I also don’t exactly like how it doesn’t teach commonly used words until later in the lessons, like I learned “you” in way later than i anticipated. I don’t know if theres any differences in the other lessons for the other languages, I’m trying to learn Spanish and these are issues I’ve noticed so far. It is a good app to help with vocabulary for beginners though, but I personally wouldn’t rely on it a lot. If anyone who’s looking to download this app to learn a new language, it’s a good app but I wouldn’t rely on it, I wouldn’t rely on any language apps honestly. If you wish to become fluent, I’d recommend joining groups on social media like facebook, discord, or even reddit to help you speak to other people who speak that language, or make friends who know both that language and english. As well as getting books that help you learn, and once you think you are far enough get books in the language you are learning to read.

Nice app for starting out but the AI…. This is a good app for just starting out learning a language and getting some basics. It’s definitely meant to be a replacement for Duolingo and has many similar aspects. Something I wish Airlearn would have as well though is the ability to learn and practice writing systems like hiragana and katakana in Japanese whenever you’d like instead of having to wait for it to show up in the lessons. But at least there are other apps you can do that with for free. The premium subscription is a very affordable price compared to other apps, but I would gladly pay more if they got an actual artist to make the art for the lessons instead of using AI-generated art. This is precisely why I give the app 3 stars. The art is ugly and distracting, and it does not make me want to keep using the app or support it with a subscription. I would much rather see royalty free photos of real people and places and objects if you can’t be bothered to get a real artist. I’m tired of language learning sources using AI in one way or another. There’s a strong likelihood it’s used in some way for the lessons themselves as well if they’re willing to use it for art, but I cannot say for certain. So if you wanted to move on from Duolingo because of their use of AI then don’t look here for that replacement.

7 day review: Excellent and way better than Duolingo. I challenged myself to use the app everyday for 7 days, completing five lessons a day. I took the German course so keep in mind language courses may vary. I can say for 100% certain that I prefer this app over Duolingo. The lessons feel like they Segway into each new topic seamlessly, making the progression feel natural and meaningful (something I often felt was lacking in Duolingo, where more often than not, it would just throw out random vocabulary that had little to no relevance to everything else I was learning). Not only does it give you lessons on how to speak the language, it also explains why you use certain grammar where and when to use it, something Duolingo never did for me. It gives fun facts about the country and language while learning as well which I found interesting and helpful with retaining information! I felt myself getting excited to open it every morning like playing a mobile game, even though I was actually learning a language. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 though is because they pretty blatantly use AI images for the visuals. I understand that it’s a shortcut and cheaper for companies to do(especially considering how many images you would need for an app like this), but I’d personally love to see them use actual paid artists in the future! Overall— I highly recommend this app. Even if you’re not that invested in language learning, the lessons feel interesting and fun. You learn fun facts, get the same dopamine rush you’d get from a mobile game when you complete a lesson faster than you did before or get a question right, and get to brag that you know how to say things in another language and actually know what it means.

LOVE THE APP, but …. I LOVE this app. I have recommended it to anybody that wants to learn languages since it has helped me so much with my Italian. I’m on a 190 day streak now! Love the interface. So easy to use. However, I would like to make a suggestion. Some of us don’t have the time or desire to put in the work to earn a trophy and be on the top 5 or top 3. Would it be possible in the NEAR FUTURE for us the Pro Users to choose whether we like to be part of the competition or not? Instead of feeling excited to learn everyday, I feel obligated to max up my points in order to not lose my Inmortal League and this makes me uninterested to learn and I am starting to despise just thinking about trying to gain more points. Also, I suggested monthssss ago the feature of doing a quiz to max up our points and I’m glad the developers took the suggestion too. Hoping my suggestion will work also. Can you please make this an option and just let us use the app to learn instead of compete? Grazie molto AirLearn per tutti ✨🤍

5 stars a MUST HAVE. I’ve tried quite a few language-learning apps, and Airlearn has quickly become one of my favorites. What really sets it apart is that it doesn’t just teach vocabulary and grammar, it also teaches culture. Learning a language is about understanding the people, history, and traditions behind it, and Airlearn does an excellent job of including that context. Another huge advantage is the language selection. Airlearn offers languages and courses that aren’t available on Duolingo: five Indian languages, Thai,Tagalog, The lessons are engaging, informative, and make me excited to keep learning. I’ve especially enjoyed using it for my language studies and discovering new perspectives from different cultures around the world. My main criticism is that I’d love to see more languages added in the future, particularly Hebrew, which is an important language to me personally. There are also a few other languages (Afrikaans, “Serbo-Croat”, more) I’d be excited to see included as the platform continues to grow. Overall, Airlearn is a fantastic app with a lot of potential, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning languages and cultures, not just memorizing words. I love how things always change up and it doesn’t seem repetitive like Duolingo. I’m studying five languages at the same time and I’m finding finally with Airlearn I can make it happen at much faster speed

Better than duolingo. I had been using duolingo for over three years but I still can not have a conversation. They don't teach you about verb tenses, feminine or masculine nouns, or the different spelling of words. They just expect you to know. This app teaches you everything that you need to know to learn the language. The first thing I learned was the difference between masculine and feminine nouns and how to tell them apart. They have a feature to practice real conversations with an ai character. You do not have to pay for anything and there are no ads. Instead of only getting five mistakes you get five lessons per day. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn Spanish. Only problem is the only languages they currently have to learn are Spanish and french.

This app is awesome. I switched over to this app after watching a video from on of my favorite content creators LouisAyy and I used Duolingo before and it doesn't even compare to this app. This app is teaching me things Duolingo left out in only three lessons and I'm becoming more skilled in the few words Duolingo taught me. This is honestly the best decision I ever made and I would definitely recommend it to anyone trying to learn a language. It teaches you the culture as well a the language which is amazing because now I'm learning more than just the language. I can never look at Duolingo the same again and I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends. The lessons are also so addicting and easy I catch myself doing multiple at a time. I just over all love this app.

Really good!. I feel like I’m actually learning words and how to put everything together into phrases. It’s a lot better than other apps where it’s just memorizing and repetition. Barely have an 11 day streak and I already know 64 words as well as how to put them in phrases and how to use them appropriately! It doesn’t sound like much but it’s a lot more than I learned in my 6months with the green bird. If I had to recommend something though, I really wish and hope they add a practice feature for words you know so far. They have a practice feature but only on the section you are currently in and you can only reach it at the end of said section. Again, I really hope they add a practice feature for the words you already know - also making it so said practice doesn’t affect your “hearts”. Just as a fun thing you know? Anyways I really like this app :) ありがとうございます!

Has major issues. I heard so many good things about this app and wanted to try it for myself. It took exactly ten seconds for my smile to disappear once I found out that there are only 11 languages you can choose from 😲!!! That’s it!!!! And the non English speakers have it so much worse. There is only an option to learn English and no other language for people that speak Spanish and Hindi. That’s it!!! Let me something clear. I know nothing about app designing, especially ones that teach languages. It probably takes an insane amount of work and time to build a lesson plan for even one language, but here’s the thing. If you want to release an app, you need to have every single language that you are striving for as a company on the release day! It’s not a good look for these companies to release something a long time after the app’s launch. It’s like if a makeup company launched its new foundation shades strictly for people of lighter skin tones and the company promised darker shades in the future. It’s actually quite unprofessional and disappointing. The language I wanted to learn is not an option and it’s a very well known language. It’s not like it’s endangered. I’m overall dissatisfied and who knows how long I’ll have to wait to be able to learn the language I wanted to learn.

Better than Duolingo but needs polishing. Hey when I first tried this app out it was actually amazing ( Now I get why the blue cat is better than the green bird ) but I’ve come to realize that it’s missing a lot of simple things. One thing you guys should add is story mode using the words we know. Another thing you guys should add is a way to practice pronunciation and speaking like ask us to say smth. Oh and also I’m currently learning Japanese you guys should add a way to learn JUST the alphabet separately from word because there’s no reason after learning 15 hiragana and katakana you’re just now teaching it. If I never knew hiragana and katakana I’d be overwhelmed, this is also slowing my progress because I alr know it. Also maybe ways to connect with friends like profiles. All this with little things like sounds ,more animation, and not ai voice actor this app could be five stars and more engaging without being to gamified

Air learn for me!. I’ve been wanting to learn Japanese for the longest time and I’ve found a app air learn and it has helped me a lot I’ve been learning and getting to know what words and how to say them it also helps a lot for me. In my opinion this app is better than Duolingo because it doesn’t show me any words to learn or any thing to use, I’ve only been using air learn for a month or two and I’ve learned many words and I’m practicing how to make a sentence and it’s going really well. I’m very great full that I found air learn it had helped me a lot and I learned a lot since and I’ve been practicing and it is going great since I’ve started! I’m so great full for the person who made this app it’s probably the best app I’ve found in my whole life! And it’s free so that’s the best part since I don’t have to pay to learn! My experience with this app is amazing I’m so glad I’ve found this app!

90% Better than DuoLingo. I’ve had Duolingo for a year now and just started using AirLearn about a week ago so I’ve had enough time to go thru the app and notice the differences. Although I believe AirLearn to have a better approach to language learning than Duolingo I feel the AirLearn app is lacking when it comes to practice sessions where we can reinforce what we have learned, there’s only lessons which you can repeat as many times as you want but is not the same as a study guide/practice session. They have leagues and a words learned tab just like Duolingo however within those areas there are no practice sessions like word matching & reviews which I think is their missing element. Besides that I love the app so far, the outline is concise and easy to follow, the explanations are helpful and they even give extra information having to do with the culture & way of life that helps to understand the how/why of the language which I deeply appreciate. All around I would give it a try and highly recommend especially at the price point they offer!

truly astonished.. of all the ways i’ve attempted to self teach myself new languages, ESPECIALLY through apps, this has been the most effective option by far. there’s many different language options to learn however aside from that the quality is just wow. it’s lessons include pictures, grammar tips, comparisons, formality levels, and so much more. and for people learning a language with a new alphabet it also offers romanization (which in case you’re unaware means it shows how to pronounce a sound from another alphabet into your language. for example: “ 안녕 (annyeong) “ so you can still pronounce the words if you aren’t fully comfortable with your new languages’ letters / pronunciation. and yes, there is a subscription which costs money, however even without a subscription you can still do 5 lessons per day for no charge, and honestly i think it’s just fine that way because it also helps you to pace yourself with your course rather than rushing through and the information going in one ear and out the other. so in summary, i think this is an amazing app and i highly recommend. i have absolutely nothing negative to say.

This is the best spanish app I ever used!😍😊❤️🫶🏽. I am a black American living in the United States in Florida I literally love Spanish and Spanish people. I literally adore them I try to duolingo and it didn't work. It was like I thought duolingo was just an owl that didn't really want me to learn Spanish it was just fun and entertaining but this app is more than just fun and entertaining. It actually helps you to learn so that's what I like about it. You should definitely check this out. It's perfect and better yet. It's totally free. Douolingo is too but trust me it is a horrible app for some users. My sister still uses it but I preferrer this app more. and also I gave this a four-star instead of the five because you have to be 13 in over to use this app my sister is six and can use Duolingo I am close to 13 but this is working perfect for me. I am not 13 yet I don't know three or two years before I turn 13 so yeah, but I have a brain of a 13 year-old trust me and this works so good for me, so please try this out

Would recommend this app. I love this app. I’ve been using it for a bit to learn French and I’ve got to say, this app is much better than any other apps. It gets straight to the point and you get to learn all the important phrases you use in your everyday conversations. What I like is that the free version does not limit you to learning. You get 5 free lessons everyday which is just what you need to prevent burning out yourself. One down side of this app is that it can be a bit fast paced so keeping all the information in your head may be hard so I recommend writing the phrases in a notebook and reviewing them to keep your mind sharp. Other than that this app is amazing and I’ve already recommended it to a few friends. 10/10 wish I knew about this app sooner rather than spending my time on apps like memrise, where you have only get like 4 free lessons, or Duolingo where everything is constantly repeated.

For Learning Japanese- Better than Duolingo. I have a 1372 day streak in Duolingo for Japanese and have been using Airlearn in tandem for the past few months. Where Duolingo has no formal grammar or cultural nuance explanations, the Airlearn lessons explicitly teach new grammar points and then have you practice it throughout the lesson. They also consistently add little “fun facts” about Japanese culture that are either relevant to the new word or grammar point being introduced. The Japanese taught is relevant and I think the course does a really good job in slowly incorporating new words and concepts into already taught concepts. The main negative is the free version only gives 5 free lessons a day which is pretty limiting (not that Duolingo is much better nowadays with the new energy system). Overall, I think it’s absolutely worth incorporating into a study app toolkit for Japanese.

Okay but has many bugs. For reference i’ve been doing Dutch on the app for about a year now. I appreciate the daily updates to the course however I believe it would be much better to have less frequent, more polished updates. Since i’ve been doing it so long my daily lessons are the ones that have just been added. I experience issues in these lessons virtually everyday, the images don’t make sense to the question, or the right answer isn’t there. I also have issues with the answers themselves, where they are saying the right word is incorrect or the right answer isn’t even there. Furthermore somehow it occasionally asks me questions in Spanish when it isn’t even the language I am doing. There are also issues with the UI glitching, having me start on a unit that on my end doesn’t even exist, or I am unable to scroll to the lesson I am on because it keeps scrolling up automatically. Overall I find that the app can be useful especially for beginners, however there are many issues evident.

AI holds it back. It's a really cool app and could definitely rival Duolingo one day. Definitely gives you lots of good feedback. However, the AI art is very off putting and makes the app feel cheap. If they're serious about competing, they should hire an actual artist or just use free stock photos. Some of the audio is also off; for example, the TTS voice pronounces the French word "demain" the Canadian way which doesn't match the pronunciation text. Also, some of the questions seem AI generated, and I've already seen one hallucination where it randomly inserted the name "Maria" into the question out of nowhere. Say what you will about Duolingo using AI but as of now I haven't seen anything that egregious. Hopefully these issues can be ironed out and maybe this app can be less reliant on AI, one of the things driving me away from Duolingo, while still providing a Duolingo-esque experience. Also, please add a dark mode.

Honestly best language learning app EVER!!!. Coming from Duolingo I thought it was the best language learning app ever but I did not realize that the way they were teaching me was not really making me understand, I feel Duolingo is really overrated. But then a few days ago my friend reccomend Air Learn I said I would give it a try I wasn’t really hopeful because I thought all language learning apps were the same, so I gave it a try and let me tell honestly such an amazing app it’s very underrated it tells you how some words have to go first before others like in English it would be I drink water but actually translated it like drink I water or something like that, it explains stuff like that it explains the culture and it sticks to one section with everything I need to know in it like when I first started Duolingo it was really teaching me words but not as much words Air Learn I learned so many new words than Duolingo was teaching me I just can’t explain the Jurassic difference between these two honestly I’m satisfied. I will say I wish they had African languages specifically Igbo language (Imo state dialect) and I would like them to teach it the same exact way they teach it with Spanish. Anyways if your looking for a so to learn languages come to Air Learn THE BEST.

Love it!. this is for whenever you don’t have a lot of time, but you still wanna learn something. I have known for the past 67 days (not even trying to joke) but some days I just don’t have a lot of time and I can just do a quick little lesson. Some of them are less than a minute long. They’re very short and you can do a lot of them. The only thing I don’t like is is not a lot of way to customize your character cause I love to customize my character. I would really love it if there was a way you could like change their colors and give them accessories and stuff. But other than that, I think this is a really cool app and really great for when you ever need a quick little lesson. I also love all the things that they have like all those a bunch of different languages and I would also like to get a music lesson would also be great, but I’m doing chess German and Spanish right now that’s great.

Prefer it a lot more to Duolingo. Stopped using Duolingo because of the Ai addition, i originally started using it to use along side as I learn German in class. I complained to a friend about wanting something different and they redirected me here First off starting strong NO ADS. They do make it clear that they have a premium version but if not your given 5 free lessons. I love already it feeling more like an actual class due to the fun facts it gives to re-contextualize the word. With all 3 teachers ive had in the past they had a habit of this as well. And just a personal preference but as an adhd learner I love how everything is read out to you and the visuals to help with the words. It helps a lot so I can understand what I’m talking about. I will say I would kinda prefer if it gave you an option of “I know a little of this language” and it quiz you to understand where your at. You technically can but it costs a heart and I’d definitely prefer to have had that out the gate. I would also love to see more languages. Both for people who aren’t native English speakers and to add to the existing ones. Like the two off the top of my head I think would be cool to add is Welsh and Taiwanese. Just an expansion on the offer of languages would be a welcomed change in my opinion.

Would have been 5 stars, but a few things need improvement.. I just started using Airlearn. It is a great app and I enjoy using it to study Japanese. I would have given it 5 stars, but I am giving it 4 stars instead because of two main issues. First, in the family section, the app uses terms like sofu and sobo for “grandfather” and “grandmother.” While these are technically correct, they are not commonly used in everyday conversation. More natural and widely used terms like ojiisan and obaasan would be more helpful for learners. This applies to other family words as well, the vocabulary feels too formal and less useful in real life situations. Second, I would really like the option to customize the cat character. Being able to change its appearance or add small features would make the learning experience more fun and personal. Overall, it is a strong and effective learning tool, but I hope these improvements are considered in future updates.

Good app but needs refinement. I really like the overall structure of Airlearn but in my view, there are a few glaring issues. 1. The voices used in the app are computer-generated, not human. Many pronunciations given, at least in French, are simply not how words are actually pronounced in France. It sounds more Quebecois, just plain weird. 2. Rarely, some of the pictures given are quite ambiguous. In one instance, it gave a picture of a bed. It marked the answer of ‘bedroom’ as incorrect because for this one picture, it relied on the premise that it was a bed and not a bedroom, when obviously the only place you’d find a bed in most homes is a bedroom. Sometimes there’s no way to know what they’re after. 3. No Mac version of the app, and the publishers have chosen not to allow the iOS version to run on Mac for some reason. 4. Lack of support for multiple learners. In our home our kids don’t have phones, because we’re not muppets, so they use our phones. We all end up having to share the same profile and everyone has to manually track our individual progress. 5. Some information given is just plan wrong. For instance, they say the word for ‘menu’ is ‘menu’, when anyone remotely familiar with France knows that it is ‘carte’. ‘Menu’ is a set of predetermined meals at a restaurant you can order at a reduced price. I’d still recommend, but Airlearn could do much better.

Good. I recommend to use this when you don’t feel like studying but want to get in some practice. The app is okay. I’m doing the Spanish course and some of the questions are based on images where it’s not clear what they’re trying to convey, so you might get the question wrong where as if they would’ve used a clearer image or asked with words, you might’ve gotten the question correct. Another thing is they started having questions where you need to use the word “del” and the way you use “de” before they teach you, which as someone who’s Spanish is a little more advance, I know what that word means and how to use it, but others might not if they haven’t been practicing as long and since the app doesn’t tell you how to use it won’t know what to do, and I’m sure this issue will come up more later. I also don’t think you could become fluent with this app because of how it teaches and the way it’s set up, but I do think it’s a nice addition to using something more useful and more targeted towards fluency because it turns language learning into a bit of a game. With that being said, the section on the test where you have to memorize the images like you’re playing the card game memory isn’t so helpful with language learning and I think it takes the focus from learning the language to getting the question right in the game. But everything else is nice. I do which you could practice vocabulary without being pro, and that you could reach the supernova streak without having to be pro since you are limited to 5 lessons a day, but other than that, this app isn’t super unusable just because you aren’t pro, I think. And I do like the fact that you can practice speaking and writing some phrases.

Great and Easy App for Beginners. This app is great for visual learners wanting to learn a language such as Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean etc. Despite the small language selection (with more to come) it is very easy to use and clearly explains certain grammar concepts. There is even a tab where you can view all of your previously learned words with visual depictions of the meaning. Combined with the photos, there is always a demonstrated pronunciation for each word, making it easy to quickly understand sentences. I highly recommend this app for all who learn visually, enjoy simple and easy displays, or just want to quickly begin to learn new languages. Also great for cat lovers since there are many cat profiles or appearances that are very cute. One suggestion I have though, is that they should add tracing hirigana/katakana/kanji characters for the Japanese course! Also, if they ever add a chinese course, i think they should also add tracing the 汉子/hanzi.

I had high hopes for this app.. If you ever stumble upon this review, most likely in the “most critical” section, I want to give you a raw and unbiased stance instead of complaining first. Here are the facts: - The layout and UI is very easy to work around and very stylish, the art style could be comparable to Duolingo. - The app does use a lot of AI image generation, and the explanation slides all utilize an AI voiceover, the only times where the voice isn’t AI is when the lesson pronounces stuff for you. - The app doesn’t have many unique traits or aspects to it, it is very similar to other language learning apps I have used in the past. -There is a limit to how many lessons you do a day. Nowadays, it’s very hard to find a app that is ACTUALLY free and not a cash grab, some apps I have used previously allows people to work on as many lessons as they want. - The lessons are sometimes fun and interactive, but not as entertaining as people may think. My personal opinion: After I give the facts, I’d like to share my own thoughts on the app to help you. I personally think it’s a waste of time to use if you don’t want to pay. It is a cash grab and works the same way as duolingo. The lessons won’t actually engage you in the long-run and there isn’t much you can do in the app. There are many other apps that offer more freedoms and aren’t desperate to take your money, and Im also mostly against Ai technology. I’d recommend trying other apps instead of wasting your time with this one.

Amazing app! Minus the speech features and AI art... I have absolutely loved learning Spanish with Airlearn! I find that the lessons make it easier to understand and apply the vocabulary into real sentences. However, I have been having repeated issues with the speaking questions. When a speaking question appears, I will say my answer and it will mark it complete, but then the rest of the lesson will have no audio/the remaining audio will glitch out. This leads to me having to close the app and reopen it to regain the audio, which also closes and restarts the lesson and deletes my progress. I end up just skipping the speaking questions all together to avoid the struggle. Additionally, often with the speaking questions, they will fail to work all together. Despite my repeated talking into the microphone of what should be correct, the app will not pick up my words at all, regardless of if I am wearing connected headphones or not. This just adds to my frustration with the speech questions. If you have any idea how I can fix these issues, please let me know. Lastly, I find the usage of AI art insulting! On your media profiles, you can’t jab at Duolingo for using AI when you yourself are also using it! Be upfront about what technology you utilize. These small issues do not interfere too badly with my use of your app and I would recommend to everyone!

Best app for language learning. I’ve been using Duolingo for a long time and I have a 400 day streak on it but it’s just not working for me. It gave me a boost up in terms of words to know but this app does it all. So far I’m paying zero dollars and zero pennies for this app and it’s better than Duolingo. But why do I say that? Well, this app explains a lot of things like why words change their endings for different cases and that’s especially important when learning a language like German if you originally speak English. This is not to put Duolingo down or anything but if you just want to learn a language for fun/for a pastime this app really does it, I mean I feel like there’s a native speaker/teacher really pointing at a board directly telling me how to speak it. One thing though is that when you get something wrong it doesn’t explain what’s wrong and how to fix it. I guess that’s fine though as they tell you all about it when initially explaining it. There’s also things that I never would have know from Duolingo. Like simple phrases that people use and when. Duo just doesn’t tell you that.

love this app!. i don't usually leave reviews on the app store but this app is just that good that i have to leave a review. i've only been using it for like a week and i'm using the free version and even with the free version it's really good! i only get to do like 5-7 lessons though, if i wanna do more then i have to pay for premium which i honestly might once i get my money up. but seriously i feel very confident that i'll finally be able to be way more fluent in spanish, i've also been trying to learn japanese for so long (on duolingo) and i never got ANYWHERE, i started in 2020 and duolingo just would keep giving me the same sentences and vocabulary and i just made no progress, but with airlearn i've started to learn some practical words and phrases, AND i get to see the words i've already learned in case i want to make flashcards. i've also started doing chinese like very recently and i've already learned so much like the tones and sentence structures and the app really goes into detail when you learn a new word, like it's not just thrown at you where you have to then try to figure out what it means and try to make a connection (like duolingo). so basically to sum this all app i LOVE this app!!! oh i do want to add that for te japanese, you guys should introduce kanji early on so that people arent necessarily mislead, like with the word 私(watashi) meaning "i/me", it's spelled わたし which i dont think is necessarily the correct way, like the pronunciation is still "watashi" but it's not used that way. (i could be wrong, japanese is obviously not my first language and you guys may have your reasons for doing it in hiragana but it's just my opinion/suggestion for people who are completely new to japanese, it's hard to unlearn how to write or read a word.)

Good lessons. Not suitable for children.. I would LOVE to give a 5 star review. If you are okay with the references to gay life you will enjoy this app. So much I enjoy in this app! I have been trying the free lessons and have been really learning well. I like the way they make you write it, say it and listen to it. I like the way it progresses and I’m doing pretty well with it! I was strongly thinking about paying for it, but the references to gay and homosexual lifestyle are too many. I would guess it’s maybe 2% references to gay couplings. There is absolutely NO educational reason for that so why is that added to a language lesson? There are illustrations with homosexual couples along with the language questions. Is it necessary to write ‘Juan and Carlos are getting married.’? Isn’t the lesson just as educational by writing ‘Juan and Maria are getting married.’? Or simply ‘My friends are getting married.’? It’s very bad business to add questionable material that had no added value UNLESS you have an unrelated second purpose.

Amazing!. went into this with relatively now expectations as i was coming from another app that doesn’t necessarily have the best reputation *cough* duolingo *cough*. however, i’ve picked up more french in the past few week or so then i have (spanish) in almost a year and a half with the other app (holding a very basic conversation, describing myself and my hobbies, etc)! perhaps i’m just a quick learner, but this app is definitely worth it in my opinion! i feel like i could probably get by just using the free version, but the pro version is soo worth it. i definitely catch myself doing a few lessons through the day. my only nag is that i wish there was more focus on writing/spelling. i’ll probably write another review in a month or so about where i’m at but as of right now i’m gonna say it’s a pretty good app!

Better than Duo. For me, I’ve always thought writing reviews was low-key unnecessary and useless. But this app is insanely good. My second language is Spanish, and I learned it in a classroom in both Highschool and university. It took me forever to get good at conversational skills in Spanish, because I didn’t start speaking from the beginning, and I didn’t know to. This app has you speaking from the start, and it explains the reasoning behind initial conversational grammar. (I’m using this to learn Chinese) Especially in Asian languages, understanding the meaning behind the characters is so important because it’s almost impossible to use the correct pronunciation and/or characters in the correct context unless you understand the meaning behind the majority of the root characters. This app uses pictures and short lesson spans in order to allow for visualization, and long term memorization with short learning sessions. I practice 5 lessons everyday, which are around 15-20 minutes collectively - ideal for long term memory processing. Highly recommend.

Best app ever for learning a new language !. I just started this app and I just want to say this is a very good, efficient, enjoyable app to use for learning a new language. I’m learning French at the moment and I have learned so much in only 30 minutes I’m already learning new phrases and how to use them in the daily life. This app is great for grammar and explains words and how to use these words/phrases excellently. This app is very cheap compared to the other apps like Duolingo last year around this time I started using Duolingo and bought the pro for $60 which was a mistake and will never do again. But I joined this app and when I say you had to pay for the extra lessons a day like Duolingo I was very bummed but this app is only half the price versus Duolingo. I just have to say this app is way better than the other apps and actually takes time to explain the basics before you start getting into the hard stuff compared to Duolingo when you join you are almost immediately hit with the hard stuff. Also when I joined Duolingo and was doing it for a couple of months I was very discouraged and it felt like something was wrong with me because I wasn’t understanding it and come to find out it was the app keep in mind I had a streak over 200 but I’m glad I quit and came over to this app and I’m finally understanding now. I recommend this app 100% to anyone trying to learn a new language!!!

I love the app! However, I have a suggestion:. Hello! I am absolutely LOVING Airlearn! I love how it teaches and explains concepts. Rather than just throwing random words out for you to memorize. I do have a recommendation! I noticed that every user has a cat. On the leagues, some cats have cool glasses or mustaches. Mine currently is blank. I have no idea how to customize my cat, or if I’m able to. Is there a way there can be a little customization shop or with each lesson you get something that you can use to customize your cat? I think that would make it more personalized! Besides the customization, I’m having an issue with PRO. I’m trying to purchase the monthly PRO, where I can just pay monthly. However, it isn’t charging my card, like it isn’t going through. My card isn’t the issue and the Apple Store isn’t the issue because I’ve recently updated a separate subscription for a separate app, and it charged me then. Is the monthly ($4.99) plan available still?

Amazing I’ve never had this app before and it’s so amazing o. I love this like when you learn your language you also give you the background and also gives you like information. Doesn’t it doesn’t really like just like go all the way into like hey this is how you say. They say this is how you say this and then you stop right there no, it keeps repeating the word specially, the words that you you’re getting it wrong like an H lesson. You’re gonna see the words that’s not when you learn it cause you’re keep saying the words and that’s how you keep keep learning and you keep experienced the words and it also gives you the background and also you can also like click the refresh to speak to see what’s the word it is and it is really amazing. I’m learning Spanish and I feel like I’m already. I feel like I already know Spanish. This app is amazing.

100x Better than Duolingo. This App Builds you up with more than just simple memorization like you find on Duolingo. This App also does more than just throw words at you. It explains the word and how it’s used in a sentence. My favorite feature is that you can go back to all the words you’ve learned. It’ll then give you the definition and how to pronounce it. You can then flag the words you’re having issue. Bonus: This App also gives you fun facts on the country itself. My least favorite thing about Duolingo is it gave you useless sentences to learn. For example for the first DOZEN plus lessons on Duolingo learning Dutch you’ll say stuff like “Ik ben een Appel” Which translates to “I am an Apple.” You won’t find those pointless lessons here. If you’re serious about learning a language to actually use… this is going to be a great start.

Perfect for Refreshing Any Language. Hello! This is Airlearn, kind of like another Duolingo but a little different. Airlearn is similar to Duolingo because it has streaks, courses, language options, and more! It is different from Duolingo because it does not have energy (or hearts), Super Duolingo, ads, and also more. I am learning Russian, and plan to speak and practice 18 more languages in the future, and I am now done with all the sections in Duolingo and now have to master the Daily Refresh section. I still want to refresh a little better so I decided to get Airlearn. I think this is a good app for refreshing because in Duolingo, it does not make you fluent and teach you every single word in Russian, but with Airlearn, it can teach you the words that you don’t know. You don’t have to get Airlearn just to refresh a mastered language, you can use it as your official app for learning your chosen language. This app is amazing but the only thing I have a slight problem with is that it does not have as many language options as Duolingo, but it is not a big deal because they added that they with add more in the future. I hope my review encourages you to get this app and tells you how good it actually is.

Good language learning !!. I really like this app. It can definitely get someone up to the point where they’d have enough comprehension of the language to be able to navigate around where they want to go (Of course this is assuming they also study a little extra on their own free time). There may be an issue where you learn pictures instead of words but it has a nice feature where it keeps your learned words/phrases in a well organized space where you can study on your own. I can’t stand the Ai pictures though. Ignoring the fact that it is unpleasant to look at in general, I’ve gotten questions where I’m asked to match a picture to a prompt, and sometimes I can’t even really tell whats going on in the picture in the first place, so I get the answer wrong when I know for a fact I could have gotten it right if it was clear enough. I’m assuming that these questions are just testing my understanding of words & phrases, so there’s no need for an image to be so vague. It’s just frustrating. These are few & far between so it’s not a huge problem but it can definitely mess with you’re learning experience. Besides that, this app is great you *can* pay for & are offered a subscription but the free version is perfectly fine. You’ll progress slower than someone with premium but unless you’re in a rush and can absorb & comprehend a bunch of completely new information into your head, there’s no need for it. Plus, you can earn coins and stuff that can allow you to speed up your learning. I hope to see airlearn grow more : ^ )

lovely app!. Airlearn is actually a pretty good app. I heard a lot about it online and decided to try it, and it’s way better than I expected. I’ve learned a lot from it so far in only about a month or so of learning. It has helpful features such as being able to re-do lessons or look at words you’ve already learned again. I do have one suggestion, which I think would be a good feature to add. I’m learning German, and when going to the “Words” page, I find it helpful to see which nouns are masculine, feminine, or neuter on the little pop-up. But sometimes it doesn’t tell, which is why I think it’d be helpful if there were more categories that separate nouns based of whether they are masculine, feminine, or neuter. Just a suggestion, either way the app is great!

Do not waste your time on the French course.. I am an intermediate in French, I decided to comeback to a language app and study my French again. I come across unacademy as it was known at the time, I didn’t use it cause I h the thought it was only for Spanish, but then I see they have other languages. The app doesn’t start with a test to see where you are, so you just have to do test of the chapters to see where you’d be. I was a bit rusty and decided to see where I was. I took a chapter test, and when I did I discovered that the grammar on the app isn’t sufficient. The thing said along the lines of: « tu » goes with « déteste » when déteste is used with je. Before that I saw that it wanted me to get 950xp in one day. You get 50xp per lesson, and as I’ve seen from others, you can’t really go to too many lessons, before it asks for money to continue for the day. Sometimes it asks you questions that don’t have enough context, so you don’t really know. And I also was putting words, but I didn’t put the right «la» there were two “la”s, without any way to know which one to use, I got the question wrong. My last straw was the ai pictures that wasn’t related to question. (The question asks how many stories to a building there is, yet the ai photo only shows 4 stories, which basically makes me lie on the question about what I’m seeing). Please for the French course, do not bother with your time, it is better to just use an indie app to learn. God bless. :)

Solid, beautiful app. Update: I’ve used the app a bunch over the past couple of weeks and it’s starting to show that it’s a bit shallow compared to other language apps. The images are still beautiful and it does a good job of introducing vocabulary. It desperately needs a spaced repetition system, however. The vocabulary comes way too fast and it kind of begins to feel like you are just going through stuff. Adding this I. Easily takes this to a five star review for me. Otherwise, I just don’t see myself renewing this for next year. Original review:I am currently using 16 different language learning apps and I find myself coming back to this one more than most of the others. It’s a beautiful app that does a good job of weaving in grammar with the vocabulary. There are a number of features that it currently lacks (speaking practice and an effective manual review system), but I get the impression that more features are on the way. All in all it’s a solid, beautiful app that I highly recommend!

Enjoyable, thoughtful, informative, 5 lessons a day. I was looking for an alternative to d u o and tried this app. I love that it starts with the words and phrases are the most useful for travel, not just random beginner words linked together. I also love that it gives little explanations of grammar and culture. Other apps I felt like I had to puzzle together grammar myself. If you don't pay for pro you only get 5 lessons a day, which is limiting but probably good to let your brain absorb the information instead of overloading. Pro is only $5 for the monthly plan though, so not bad. I will definitely use air learn to learn a bit of the language before traveling to new countries and will recommend it to my friends when they plan to travel too. Update: I still love this app! BUT there's been a bug for several days where after a lesson there's no "continue" option. I have to close out the app every time I finish a lesson to return to the rest of the app. I can't figure out how to contact anyone about this so I'm updating my review. Please help! It's really annoying and makes me do less lessons!

Amazing app, but maybe add a tweak to make it even better. Привет Airlearn! I’m learning russian and by far, its the best app I’ve used to learn a new language! (I’ve tested 10 other apps) I just wanna give a tip to do to the app, like a small tweak. You should look more into the words practice for the Pro exclusive because, I find it a little off only because it doesn’t feel like I’m practicing much and the words keep repeating. So a couple of things you can add to it is: 1. Give a setting to it whether you want to learn 10 words at once or change to like 20,25,30 etc to add more practice and not get repeated words all the time. 2. Make the practices a bit more harder and more of everything (oral, more sentences) so you can really practice the words more easily 3. Add categories on whether you want text only, oral only, picking the right word one. You know, just so people can work on specific stuff to improve on. I’m going to be straight up, I never give feedback or tips to any app at all, but this app is so good at teaching (and the ad’s yall make 😂) and it just feels amazing, I love this app so much!! So take it into consideration please (especially since people pay for it, I will yearly) it would mean a lot and thank you so so much! Да свидания!!

Great way to learn!!!!. Airlearn is a new company for unacademy. I have in almost 7 months learned 1,028 words! I am enjoying the app. It is a unique way to learn. Recently, Airlearning has updated this app and it’s even better. Your learned words can be reviewed with an alphabetical listing on the Words section. But, the words that are newer can be seen at the top of the non-alphabetized listing of words. Airlearn uses many types of learning tools. UNA, a speaking AI, speaks and you can speak back…In Spanish, of course! There are reviews using the words you just learned. You can hear the word pronounced and repeat to practice. Airlearn’s explanations are really a good thing. It helps clear up questionable about usage and those tricky words…me, te…, too! Just by listening and repeating what the lesson says, you can even have an accent! {I have worked really hard on this because a friend said (I was helping a Spanish speaking patient…) that I had a terrible accent.} ***I just found another update! I’m excited to see what’s new! Come join us. It’s free unless you want to GO PRO, just try it out. See if it’s fun…..Happy Day to you!

Actually learning with no to very little difficulty. I’ve been using Duolingo for the past I would say 2 to 3 years and I picked up on basically nothing. For the most part, I stuck with Spanish and did that for about a year and I only know the basics like hermana is sister or something, yo is I, I’m not even sure if that’s exactly correct, etc etc etc. I know how to write or type out “Yo no habla Español” and I doubt that’s really the proper way that it’s meant to be typed but they never taught me how to do an accent or anything, and even when I did an English course, they were failing me for no reason because apparently I wasn’t saying the words I’ve been speaking for my entire correctly. And then I switched to this because I really been wanting to learn German, but Duolingo wasn’t doing that for me. Because it actually speaks in an accent, I know what I have to do to change how I talk to actually do the accent, I’m actually picking up words and I’ve been using this for only two days already, and I found the heart system very useful so I don’t get carried away and do like 20 lessons in a day and forget everything the next. I saw a lot of people complaining about the AI pictures and stuff, but it’s not that bad and I can’t stand them as long as I’m learning an actual language at a good pace where my brain won’t think that I’m learning nothing and give up. I’ll give one more review in a week just to see if I still approve and it was just the first day starters but thank you so much!

Great but Could be Better. I’ve been using the free version of this app for about a month now and can say it is one of the better language learning apps out there. I like to try out the free version before committing to a paid plan. That being said, and I can’t speak to the paid version, I think there isn’t enough emphasis on whether you actually know how to make complete and accurate sentences. For example, a lot of the exercises ask you to build a sentence (either full or fill in the blanks) but provide you with all the words necessary to do so. Although my scores are near perfect that way, I can say with certainty that I wouldn’t have remembered a majority of those words (and in some cases their order/placement in the sentence) had they not been there to click on. I think it would be more beneficial for learners to type out the words from memory to create (and translate) sentences. I know there are some exercises like that already, but the majority aren’t so I don’t feel confident despite progressing in the lessons. Again, this is my experience from the free version so I’m not sure how or if the paid version addresses these concerns.

Air learn. Over all, I think this app is pretty good for people who want to learn new languages- you can pick from any language, and start learning right away. I recommend buying Airlearn pro- it’s about 40$, (not exact) per year, and you can learn as much as you want in a day. Airlearn’s lessons include finishing sentences, speaking (rarely), matching, choosing meaning, true or false questions, did you knows, and sound choosing. You go over each topic, a group of lessons at a time, and even have a word gallery. By 3 months, I was having basic conversations, (With pro), but with basic you’ll learn in about 6-8 months. Totally better than Duolingo, AND memrise. This app is like, TOP TIER, And I didn’t even mention everything this app has to offer. You should totally get this.

Love this app!!. I’m a regular user of Duolingo I feel this app fills in where Duo lacks only 2 days in to using this app. The speaking section is much more strict and shows exactly which letters your not pronouncing correctly. Love the layout too!

Airlearn. This app is useful but you can only learn up to four languages and you have to be able to learn very quickly with this app so you may need to write down the words you are learning and what they mean but airlearn will give you tips and things to remember/ not.

Black Friday Sale. Interested in taking advantage of the 50% off Black Friday deal to upgrade to Pro via the Apple App Store (AUS). However, the advertised discounted price isn’t the total amount, which is shown to include an additional $7.50. Please explain why this is the case because GST is only 10% and all prices shown on the AUS App Store should be inclusive of this GST.

Amazing but…. Easily my favorite language learning app, and it’s a 5 star on that aspect, but i like using it on my iPad too, and the screen doesn’t really adjust in landscape mode not just portrait ( on a phone ) so maybe it would be nice to have that addition !

Great app — efficient and effective for learning languages at beginner level. AirLearn is a great app! It’s engaging, and you can learn a lot in a short amount of time. My only criticism is the lack of a placement test for users who have already studied a language extensively — but maybe I just haven’t found it yet.

Amazing. I feel like I have learnt more in 2 days than I have in months on other language apps. Love it so much! And so much fun! I wish that when you go into your word dictionary that there was a feature that can allow you to study flashcards of your learnt words in a randomised order.

Why it’s better then Duolingo. It’s better then Duolingo because that bird teaches in the app while Airlearn teaches with and helps you learn outside the app like watch a tv show in the language you are learning if they use the same pronunciation then you will be able to understand while the bird teaches you one word and expects you to know the meaning of a sentence while Airlearn starts with sentences and words to insure you understand so instead of taking a while to learn Airlearn helps you in two days I’m able to read my Japanese manga and I’m only on day 1 because I learnt the characters before but I understand most since Airlearn just helps felled better and look at YouTubers they have proof that Airlearn is better

Way better then Duolingo. I have a 284 streak on Duolingo and I absolutely despise doing my lessons, I’ve done 2 lessons so far and I feel so much less stressed and the explanation helps so much more, which Duolingo didn’t explain that well, and the lessons are short and you’ll actually have time to do multiple in 5 mins and actually enjoy it!

Airlearn. I have been using Airlearn for just under 2 months and I love the app I love how you can see the words you have learnt on a flash card however I would love to see a randomise button for when reviewing the flash cards

.. It's a well known fact that airlearn uses AI for their art & voices & usually it’s semi-realistic but the 'Thai' voice is borderline unbearable, no Thai person sounds like that; the issue isn’t that the accent is a little off etc. the voice is so AI that it can be hard to get past how AI it sounds. when it comes to marketing airlearns strongest language is Russian but that doesn't excuse the other languages being held to a different (lower) standard. This isn't the first time I've had issues with airlearn's other languages (Eg: Chinese/Japanese/Korean) they sound too robotic & it's not the fact it's Ai or the accent change between the different bots but the Russian lessons just feel better quality: the voice is clear & the accent isn't over the top, it’s easy to understand, it seems like the Russian lessons are better quality. In terms of the actual learning of the languages it’s pretty good, the pictures and repetitive activities/re-enforcement of the vocabulary are really helpful. I will give credit where credit is due; one thing that no other app I have tried has given cultural context to the language/why they say certain things or do certain things in a particular way. I think that air learn is a really good starting point for language learning, getting you acclimated to the language (& depending on the language you’re trying to learn it will carry you to A2/A3) but it should not be the one-stop-shop for all your knowledge, although it does cover a wide range of topics and vocabulary it isn’t the end-all-be-all. (I’m not trying to dog on the Russian lesions even though it might read that way, I do enjoy the Russian lessons especially with how hard it is to find good learning apps for Russian)

Still needs some improvement. Genuinely does seem like a good app for learning a language, however the constant AI and the premium version being shoved down my throat every second on the app (and even off the app with constant notifications) just really turned me off it. I would probably go back if you fixed the AI issue and used actual pictures/art instead

In depth!. this is a super great app for learning languages, it’s not like Duolingo which doesn’t teach you much, just memorisation. But this app teaches you about what you are saying, it goes back to what you’ve learned often, it gives a brief explanation and history of the word, and it teaches things ACTUALLY useful for everyday conversation. Super great.

GIVE ME THE WIFI. When I was playing this it learned me a lot of languages but I had a streak it was streak 4 but then I found a text that said “No Internet Connection” I just want to learn my language but it was too late my streak is gone I tried to get the wifi but now I give up on it. I feel bad my it was not my wifi’s fault and my streak still gone I forgot I made an account on this app but never mind I just deleted it. I had to find another app to learn me a language offline.

Yeah. It's good that kind of it if you dont have the premium it's kind of boring but you still learn a lot if your trying not to dread doing this like a chore just get Duolingo or something because this is boring unless you want to pay

Best language app. I downloaded this app as someone who speaks English and German. Hoping for my third language I’ve been practising Russian but there was no choice for Russian on the app when I first downloaded it, so I started learning Japanese. As someone with no understanding on Japanese this app made it super easy to learn and made me confident before moving onto the next phrase. Today the app updated and now has Russian it was perfect as someone who is already learning Russian. The only thing I would recommend is having a language test before starting a language for those who are transferring their skills from another app or source. Being able to skip the introduction and go straight to your level of language ability. Once I’m paid I will be looking at going premium as this app is perfect for language skills and I want to continue learning Japanese and Russian. I also recommend adding Arabic as it’s a hard language to find content for and the structure of the apps lessons would make learning the language super simple. 5 stars!

Great app!!. I had been learning Hindi language on a couple of other apps, but Airlearn is now my go to! I love the little hints tips and explanations on why we use certain words and phrases in different contexts. Highly recommend. Great value for money too 🤗

Better than Duo. As other reviewers have said, this app is better than Duo because it explains the meanings. I’m really enjoying this app and competing on the leaderboard. I’m hoping there are flash cards for the words as that would be good too. The annual plan is more affordable than other apps, which is great because so many apps are asking way too much money. I hope it stays this way. 🙂

I learn Russian. It’s really good and easy to understand. I’m a teen and doing this for fun, so I like that I don’t have to learn the alphabet to learn the language (i already know the alphabet from previous studies) because it has the English sounds of the Russian words above or beneath it, e.g. Привет has ‘privyet’ near it. Very useful and good!

Idk. I absolutely love this app, definitely recommend!! It’s actually useful and dosent teach me useless stuff like Duolingo no hate to them but why would I need to know how to say paper before introducing myself or addressing someone ? Anyways I’m really enjoying this app, im currently learning Italian and its going so good, I really hope they don’t make me pay to continue learning 😭😭

🥇. This is an excellent app. I'm very pleased to have come across a recommendation for it, as I now dedicate a significant portion of my free time to using it. The explanations 're presented clearly, and the facts provided during the learning process 're truly noteworthy. I eagerly anticipate the addition of new languages for study. Thank you.

Amazing for learning Brazilian Portuguese!. I have been struggling to learn Brazilian Portuguese for a long time as there aren’t as many resources. I had used other apps for a significant time and they did not teach me words I would use in a conversation, correct pronunciation or important concepts around sentence structure. Straight away you are learning correct pronunciation of usable sentences! Love this app!

Day 2, very good. I have only used this app for 2 days and so far I have no complaints on the learning process, the interface (if I’m using that term right) is very user friendly akin to Duolingo. My few complaints is just the limited selection of languages which I believe will be added to as time goes on and the fact that only 5 lessons are accessible per day.

Excellent app however,. I wish they gave what the sentence means in English once you completed it. Would be nice to reinforce learning. Also sometimes the questions are unclear and the images can look very similar Otherwise a great app

AMAZING. The pronunciation is great, it’s super easy to learn and is super fun. Only had it for two days but whenever I see the notification that I have a free lesson available to learn I literally stop what Im doing to do it, it’s great, the little cat avatars are totally adorable too (I’m a complete cat lover)

Okay… needs improvement. Apparently ’Konnichiwa’ means ‘good afternoon’. What? I was told a lesson ago it meant hello. That was confusing. Also, please make it so I can replay the audio questions, because I play it and I can’t hear it properly and then I can’t replay it. Thanks. Other than that the app looks pretty cool.

Good App - Remove use of AI. I am loving using this app across multiple devices however I strongly dislike the ugly and uninspiring AI imaging. I believe I would feel much more comfortable seeing work from a real artist and with a straight forward art direction.

Learn more than Duolingo🙌. I have a 284 day streak on Duolingo and am always dreading the lessons as they are so long and hard to understand. Even though I have been doing Duolingo for a long time, I feel as though I don’t learn anything important. It is my second day on the app and am enjoying it much more because of the explanations and memorable lessons ☺️

Great app. This app explains the language well and help me to understand the rules needed. Sometimes it’s doesn’t run as smoothly as it could but that’s only a minor problem. Overall I really like it.

crashes randomly. a good app to brush up on my spanish and has been more relevant than duolingo. however it crashes at random points (mostly after i finish a spoken word task) and i either have to leave the app or get the question wrong bc it won’t let me re-listen to the question or hear anything. would also try the free trial because i already know a lot of the spanish it’s teaching me so it would be great to get to the stuff i don’t know but i don’t want to forget about it and have it charge me.

Best Language App. Ive decided to learn Japanese and though I’m just a beginner, I’ve already learned how to introduce myself. This is much more progress then I’ve ever got from duolingo in just two days. Thank you.

Airlearn is the best decision ever. I’ve been on airlearn for 4 days and I have already learnt over 40 words in French! I usually go on airlearn for 10 minutes everyday and I now know how to introduce some of my family and how to say some basic sentences! This is definitely one of my new favourite apps!! 10/10 do recommend

Great supplement to other learning options.. I’ve just started using this app in addition to reading material and other apps for learning. Great so far! Very affordable compared to alternatives.

AMAZING. I find the layout satisfying and the lessons fun and short! My only criticism would be that sometimes the images in the lessons are confusing. My opinion is that the images should have the english words as well as the images so i can see what im learning with-ought relying solely on the images. Otherwise an amazing way to learn for me. Considering the amount of language courses the pro membership is defiantly worth it for me! Thank you for all your hard work!!

Doesn’t work properly. I’m enjoying the app but it’s got so many faults that need fixing. For example the pictures don’t load sometimes so I can’t complete the questions and keep missing points. The audio doesn’t load sometimes either. I think it would be good if we could do more speaking and writing too, what’s the point of translation into ENGLISH when I’m learning JAPANESE?? Another thing to improve the app is to make it possible for people to start at a level that suits their already current language skills. I’ve been studying Japanese for years so I don’t need to start from the beginning but I had no choice with Airlearn so it’s actually a huge waste of my money (I bought the pro edition). These are EASY things to fix!

AI images cheapen the app. Learning swedish and so far it’s okay, however, the use of AI images really cheapens the app and doesn’t give me any confidence at all that the course was developed properly by real people or will be teaching accurately later on when I get to harder topics. Definitely would NOT pay for the premium version of airlearn because of this. I left duolingo because of their AI use (as did many) and I will move on from airlearn as soon as I find a reliable app that doesn’t use AI.

Best app to learn a language. I got Airlearn in December, and although I am not keeping up with it everyday, I am definitely learning so much more than other apps and websites I’ve used in the past. I did Spanish during high school, and I didn’t want to pay for Spanish lessons (yet) after I graduated, so I searched and searched for apps and this one proved to be helpful! I bought the Airlearn PRO and i have been improving immensely with my Spanish.

👍. Hello, recently downloaded the app and I think it’s super good but the only thing is the pronunciation’s. I have trouble hearing when they repeat the word, so if it could have a setting where you can set it to go slower when speaking that would be great.

Best language app out there. So I had been on Duolingo for about a yr and barely learnt any French so decided to change apps and found air learn I have been using for literally 2hrs and can already introduce my self and say good morning good night etc

Good-ish app. It’s a good app that’s built well, and it teaches me more than Duolingo. I think it’s weird that I can’t choose what level I’m on, because I’ve been learning German for quite a while now. It also bugs me that I have to wait a few hours after completing a few courses because I’ve “Ran out of energy” and need pro to have “infinite energy”. I don’t think you can learn multiple languages at a time like Duolingo, and I’ve wanted to learn both German and Arabic. Overall, a good app but a few things that just annoy me

Airlearn Is better than Duolingo. I love air learn it's fun educational and the lessons are short so I don't have to do them for sooooooo long That's why I believe air learn is way better than Duolingo and shoutout to airlearns bosses

👍. This app is amazing, I have only used it for a few days but I have learnt more in 3 days from this than 3 months on the green bird Only issue I’m facing is whenever I finish a lesson it won’t let me press any button and so I have to restart the app. It’s a good app

Japanese. Much more relevant learning than Duolingo. I have found that in the Japanese learning sometimes it says I got the answer wrong but I know it is right as I am just using this as a refresher. This mostly happens in hiragana learning and sometimes it also has the wrong picture of a hiragana character when I have to match

Sooo good!!. 안녕하세요, 저는 엠버 입니다. And I just want to say this app is sooo good!! I love it so much no adds all learning and I’ve already know so much Korean thanks to this app it’s really amazing I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn another language because this app really helps not only is it for Keating but there is also quizzes I love that!

💯recommend this app over others. I love how it actually teaches you the meaning and provides explanations for words I’ve been using Duolingo for over a year and switched over to Airlearn last month and have already understood more about the grammar and how to use words than I have in the entire past year

Why Airlearn is so good. This app is incredible I tried other language app however none of them taught you much and they were to hard for a beginner until someone recommended me Airlearn it is actually fun with quizzes rewards and rankings I look forward to learning everyday

good app!. i heard about this app from tiktok, and downloaded it just to see what it's like. i just started learning korean, and i've already learnt so much, and it teaches so well. however it's a bit annoying that you can only do like 5 short lessons a day, unless you pay for a PRO subscription.

warning: deceptive and questionable. this app uses generated AI with no disclosure. I started using airlearn because duolingo became an AI-first company and taught me language errors while also showing that they do not care about the huge negative impact to the environment AI does. all to pocket some extra money and pay workers less. Airlearn advertised itself on platforms like twitter/X that it did not include any AI, so i switched. I learnt later that this was a complete lie as all of their imagery in lessons is AI generated. The more i had progressed in my lessons with more complex words, the less legible the generated images were. It feels awful and it has thrown me off a lot, so i am not motivated to continue using Airlearn as a habit. The deception is bothersome and although the content is still written (presumably) by real people, it is better than duolingo in that regard, but still on a morally questionable level that is turning me and others away. If you’re one of the many people who moved from Duolingo for the same reason, avoid using this app.

Didn’t give me my refund.. Don’t get me wrong this app is good but i requested a refund due to the free trial or something pushing me to try it and i had no choice but had to. I had forgotten i even had it and it chagred me money. and i have been waiting for my refund for ages but i never got my money back? I full on have been waiting my my 30+ dollars back. This is really disappointing i really want my refund so i can use it for other things. My child is young and i didnt expect this to happen.

Great language app. First of all, this is an alternative to Duolingo, but it’s better! It keeps your words you’ve learnt, and so much more! One thing I will add though is that since I am going to Taiwan soon, maybe add Taiwanese hokkien? A majority of Taiwan speaks hokkien instead of Mandarin. But still a great app

It’s still rlly good even with the ai. I know what other people are thinking that using AI for language learning isn’t good but this app uses an respectfully and only uses it for images and voice cause do you think that someone is (example) Japan and take allllll the photos and voice everything! Anyways this is a rlly good app and I recommend using it a lot!

Good. Good

Gamification. Love the app but I wish it was less gamified. I wish there was an option to turn off the sound effects and other game like effects. Other than that I love the app and find that it does a way better job actually explaining grammar than other apps that I’ve used in the past.

Good app!. Airlearn is probably one of the best language apps I have ever discovered. And the fact they have unique languages too, the only downside is that they use AI a lot. I have some language suggestions: maybe do Balkan languages like Bosnian, Croatian, etc. Most language apps do not have Balkan languages and I wish to learn Bosnian to speak with relatives. Please look at this review, and thank you!

The app I was looking for. Easy and user-friendly app.

Email spam. Stopped using the app but I still get bombarded with emails everyday. Tried to unsubscribe from emails but the website to unsubscribe doesn't even work. Tried deleting my account on the app itself, but it turns out the delete account button doesn't work either.

Wow. I love it

Great app. Only wish there was dark mode available as an option as can be really bright on the eyes

Really good. Please put Ukrainian too I’ve been waiting for so long and it’s a good app it’s really helpful with everything you need to learn in a new language

Amazing 🤩. This app actually teaches you unlike you know who but I need to check if there’s a option if you already have an account but still love it 😊

Katseye. I love this app is better then duolingo

Really good and way better then duo is most cases. Only things id like them to add is alphabet and learning the letters of the language, and edit your little cat avatar. Maybe you can do these things and I just dont know how but add those and id say 5 stars

idk. aint no way this ai just roasted the green owl ( tiktok )

Great format. Really like this app. I might cancel super max duo and switch to this but more research to be done.

My review. It is a really good app to learn. However I noticed that there is no way to skip ahead to your level of knowledge in the language. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. However I wanted to use it to expand my knowledge in French outside of school and I found the starting content way too easy (as it should be for a beginner). I’ve been using it to learn Italian tho, and it’s really good! It goes over basic useful words and it explains how nouns and adjectives change according to gender or number which is something you don’t get with Duolingo. I really like it and it’s great for learning a new language so far!

Freedom. I like how I can learn as much as I like at any time and I get little fun facts about the language

Perfect. Actually it’s not perfect but it’s really good the only thing is the accent of the teacher that can be annoying

Airlearn Review. Great for learning! I’ve been learning Spanish this really helps me understand why everything works the way it does, instead of just telling me the correct answer as other language lesson apps work

AIRLEARN IS THE BEST!!. You don’t have to pay for anything if you don’t want to and the best part is if you get far u call air and it roasts Duolingo 💀💀💀💀

Good but buggy app. The app is good for learn but very buggy, and I sent support to fix the issues. But they asked me to verify there errors with testing the app myself without a quality testing department, so after 7 emails I gave up. Otherwise it works for myself.

Love this app but wish it offered more languages like Levantine Arabic or Punjabi!!!. This has been a great app so far! I really appreciate the language selection too! But if I can add a suggestion please add Punjabi to the future languages because I live in Canada and it’s more useful for us here!

Fun and good depth. Sections are detailed and cover a broad range of topics you might encounter in everyday life/business.

Better than Duolingo. Reminds me of Duolingo but way more affordable, and a better layout. Much better descriptions and includes grammar where duo doesn’t.

.. WOW. Very impressed i thought i would have to pay to use this app but it’s pretty much free u should keep it this way after a month of learning im now able to introduce and sometimes talk in Japanese love the app you should definitely download and if u want extra lessons it doesnt costs much! What a deal xoxo!

Great. My brother introduced me to this app since I have to learn Japanese, and it has really helped me this app is amazing

Best Language app. This app really helped me learn more hindi witch i only know punjubi even my aunt started using it

Omg. I learned so much using this app omg next year, I’m going to Vietnam and this helped me improve my Vietnamese. Oh my God download it right now if you really wanna learn great languages.

Amazing app!. This really helps me learn and it's direct you should definitely download!!

I love this app. This is so much better than Duolingo, I LOVE THISSSS, it makes it easy to learn and quickly!!

One of the best apps I’ve used for language studies. Far better pronunciation, and I love that it gives descriptions and context between lessons :)

A bug. There is a bug every time I complete the first part of a lesson for the day it won’t let me click continue I have to close the app and open it again for it to work.

UNACADEMY INC PLS RESPOND annyeong!. Please give me unlimited lessons each day. I’d love this. Im learning Korean.

So Many Unnecessary Notifications. You can’t even personalise how many notifications &/ reminders you receive in a day. I literally get notifications during a lesson, it’s ridiculous. We should be able to customise this & that’s my reason for the 2 star rating. Regarding functionality, the app is generally ok, my only problem is it’s too rigid with sentence structure. Your sentence could be right but the app rejects it because you’re not using its intended structure.

I recommend just one thing to say. Don’t skip through stuff quickly, listen and remember stuff it’s a important tip

this application is stupid 😠👎. it all star⭐️ted with you 🫵. There needs to be a 🇭🇷 croatian option for learning. chernoblyat.

AI is ruining our planet.. I was really enjoying the app until I realized that a lot of it used AI. All of the images are AI generated which must use so much water per each lesson. Please - hire an artist to create images to support language learning or use real images. Genuinely - think about the planet. What good is profit in a world we can’t live in?

Good but. I find the app itself very useful and well made, being very user friendly but there are no levels, I’ve known French for a while now and I got this app to touch up on it but the app brought me to the basics (bonjour comment ça bien? Stuff like that) and although this is not necessarily bad I find it unnecessary and if I’m being honest a bit wasteful in terms of time. For this I would more than love a leveling system where the app gives you a test after signing up or let’s you choose between Beginner Intermediate Fluent Another than this I have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend. (Please do fix the levelling thoug)

Very good. I love how it’s super simple the lesson are plus there very nice😃✨

No Arabic. They should just add standard Arabic and Mabey 1 or 2 dielects

Avatar. I noticed that when you change your avatar, you can't switch back to a previous avatar you've already unlocked. I've rerolled my avatar (1,500 coins) a few times and ended up back with the one I started with. It would be great if ALEAST users with Airlearn Pro could go back and select avatars they've already gotten instead of losing access to them after changing. Thanks for considering this feature. I really appreciate how active and responsive the developers are, I will 5 star when issue is fixed <3

fast and easy learning. honestly, I’ve tried so many apps even popular ones and they haven’t given me this much fun and easy learning as Airlearn has. You should definitely check it out.

It’s great but I have to pay. It is great. I am learning a lot. It is teaching me how to speak, Read, write and listen, but you can only do it for about 10 minutes and then you have to pay

I love this app. Awesome app, learned many stuff already about Tagalog!

Good explanation. Good apps to learn and understand new language

lowkey better than other apps. very accurate and good uwu

Good. For the next update, can you please add Arabic Egyptian Arabic?

Decent…has some glitches though.. I like how the app explains things and doesn’t just try to teach through repetition. Would be good if the rewards for doing lessons were useful if there is no way to opt out of the leagues (or if xp multipliers could be paused), and would be good if pro users and free users were segregated. Oh, and to fix the Apple situation where if you try to give feed back in the app it auto-reroutes you to “mail” when I don’t want use mail. Tried to send this all in emails and they just bounced back or were never responded to.

Very clean and simple to use. I like the concept of free lessons everyday. Instead of bulk learning in on day, you are stopped and curiosity to return the next day persists.

Duolingo killer. It’s just a better version of Duolingo. I’ve seen no ads so far other than pop ups that can be dismissed instantly and unlike Duolingo it actually teaches you some grammar and differences between formal and informal

Thank you air. Even with Free get five free leson

Great language game. Sometimes doesn’t hear me properly, video call system still has flaws.

good lessons bad ai. the lessons on here are a lot better than Duolingo especially when it comes to the explanations, but there are two big things that need to be fixed in this app. the first one being the ai images that they use. they all have the same beige/brownish color palette to them which makes it a bit difficult to differentiate between them. the app would really benefit from real artwork, or even stock images instead. the ai art really takes away from the overall learning experience. the second thing they need to get is dark mode. it's so inconvenient to not have that option.

AMAZING!. I have learned so much in only 2 days! I love the setup and how easy it is to learn! I appreciate how it teaches language skills and facts about the community and or country. The ads are fine to me, and I love how it gives you 5 free lessons a day! I used to use duolingo but that got boring. I would always forget about it or lose my streak, but this app is actually fun and I never for get to do it! I am using this app and also Busuu so I can learn more faster! This app is amazing and I would recommend! 🇷🇺🇷🇺

Amazing App!. I really like this app so far. I’m currently learning French on it and it’s teaching me it really well. It tells me more about how the people of France use the words. Like before I always thought Bonjour mean hi, but it actually means good morning. Though I do hope they add more languages like Korean soon, so I can understand what my favorite KPop groups say without having to translate it through google. Anyways I really love this app so far and again hope to have Korean as an option soon

i like it but it needs some customization. i’m referring to japanese and what i mean by this just having the option to get rid of the romaji. i love all these new words im learning but im just reading the romaji, my eyes almost completely ignoring the hiragana. i want to learn to read JAPANESE. not just sound it out. there should be an option to turn romaji off. and when it gets more advanced, to turn hiragana off when reading kanji. i wish i could give this a higher rating but not being able to turn the romaji makes me want to turn away from the app altogether. i’ll be using a paper or my finger i guess, until i get over it.

Love the App but giving suggestions!. I really enjoy learning Spanish thru the Airlearn app. The developers have made it easy to understand and learn lessons. I would like to make some suggestions… Not all words that are learned are repeated later on. Fixing the Una chat. There are times that words are spoken correctly but it will say it was incorrect and vice versa. How about having 2 different leagues; one for Free version and Pro version. Only those who have Pro can win trophies because they can play endlessly. I have enjoyed the Airlearn app so much that I now know 4 other people using it.

Fun and helpful. I was looking for a language app that was free but actually taught you useful things and Airlearn is amazing for that. I’m using it to learn Italian for my trip next summer, and it’s perfect. Theirs no ads, and they do offer a ‘Pro’ but honestly the free version is so good. It’s engaging and offers audio listening and teaches you how to say the words. One of my favorite things however is it keeps track of all the words you learned which I find very useful to look back at!

Wish there were more languages!. I currently have a 113 day streak in Norwegian on the bird app but I find that I don’t understand why things are the way they are and struggle to actually apply what I’ve learned. I love that AirLearn goes deeper and helps with that understanding. I really just wish there were more languages. Spanish is great for every day use but I read Norwegian is the easiest and wanted to see if I am actually capsule becoming fluent in a new language. I’ll definitely continue with Spanish until more languages are added!

Good for everyone⭐️🤭. This is a free app I recommend, for kids and adults because It helps us with pronunciation, it reviews the words you just learned so you can remember! As a Congolese and Greek girl i’m still learning because I had to be born in america because in the war but my mother didn’t want me to learn french first not sure why but bc of school ig. I’m practicing french and it’s going well! After french I would like to learn Greek and Lingala! I HOPE THE DEVELOPERS SEE THIS!!

Best language app. I’ve tried several language apps and this one is by far the best. Only two issues: 1. The audio consistently glitches on the subsequent tile after speaking. Learning to listen to and comprehend the language is obviously an integral part, so this needs to be fixed. 2. This is on my wish list. The app does not remember the last lesson completed if you stop in the middle. It takes you all the way to the beginning of that topic. Minor annoyance. Other than that, this app is fantastic.

Great app but not enough languages. I came to this app because I was trying to find a better language learning app than Duolingo that still had the same style. I chose this specific app due to the good reviews. To my disappointment when I opened the app it seemed that they didn’t teach the language I was learning but Duolingo did, because of this a uninstalled the app since it would have no use to me. So now I’m stuck hoping that they add the language I’m learning, Norwegian. I’m currently awaiting any new updates and hope to see more languages soon.

4 ⭐️. This app is great I usually don’t put anything to 5 cuz there is always room for improvement but this app works really well by teaching vocab and grammar….something Duolingo doesn’t do. But anyways for you next language please do Russian I’ve been learning Russian a while but I’m kinda at a dead end with Duolingo so please do Russian as next language thankyouuu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(I just seen that u only get 5 lessons a day) bruh take that off just put ads on it so u can still get money and we could actually get lessons atp now 4 stars really means 4 stars. Also lessons are too easy make them harder.

Pretty good, just a few things. So first of all the conversations keep saying that I’m saying things wrong even though I’m saying them perfectly correct. Furthermore the notifications oh my God they said like 10 million notifications at like seven in the morning so it’s like they’re almost as bad as Duolingo notifications, I just wish they tone down in the notifications and fix the problem with the conversation. Other than that it’s good. Maybe they should add a placement test for more advanced learners though.

Definitely better than duo-lingo!!!. The air-learn game is free and what I like about it is you don’t need to even pay even though it says you have to pay you don’t. I been playing this game for about a week now and I gotta say this is the most amazing game I have ever played in my lifetime and I think now I wanna go to Mexico and see the lifestyle that they have over there… anyway I think you should download this game right this moment!!!: )

Duolingo is better. For a test, I did three different languages that I do not know a word in Italian Spanish and French. Duolingo taught me how to say hello in order a few things in a café. This was one lesson. Airlearn taught me a few facts which I like, but taught me two words and didn’t even teach me how to pronounce them. On my first lesson at Duolingo, they told me to speak two words. I did it and they said I did great. all the lessons were the same for duo just in different languages. Also, one thing I like is that Duolingo you can make your own custom avatar and they have cute characters I can’t even change my avatar in this app and it’s ugly. Airlearn is OK but I Duolingo it’s 10 times better.

THIS APP IS AMAZING. So this was my first day trying it out and I learned so much and just one lesson but you can get pro for only five dollars a month and you can learn as much Spanish as you want and then after you’re done, you can cancel the membership or you can move to another language like French German or Spanish, which they have all of that I don’t know if they have American yet, but it is such an amazing app. I’ve learned so much and just one lesson. It was so fun.

love this app!!. I really love this app, I’ve been learning German on this for like almost a month and have learned way more than I have on Duolingo that I have a 78 streak on. Though, I wish there was like quizzes to practice (three a day for free, unlimited for pro) as I have to make quizlets to practice myself and sometimes I get lazy and don’t want to do all that you know? Anyways besides that, I absolutely love this app. Especially with the explanations, it really helps as I want to become fluent in German!

Best thing to learn Spanish. I never spoke much Spanish but I knew a few words (maybe 5 at most) and in about 5 minutes of playing this, I already new almost double how many words I knew when I started. The only downside I noticed is that it limits the amount you can learn in a day without pro (pro is a subscription). To developers: I would suggest letting people do unlimited learning without a subscription, but make the subscription give you benefits, like more complex words or spelling lessons.

Great learning app. Airlearn is like Duolingo except it gives a deeper understanding of the language your learning and helps you identify how to say words even if you have never heard them yet compared to Duolingo just translating words. For example, Airlearn explains how words that end in a like chica are for females and words that end in an o like Chico are for males. The only downside is the features are kind of limited and I like the pictures in Duolingo instead of the AI pictures or whatever they are.

One star. This app is very quick and useful it has various role plays that is provided and overall it has one con which is waiting another day to do more lessons which is okay but I want to learn more sometimes they give u an extra lesson which is very decent and nice but it has several pros like saying facts about the language ur studying and giving in real life scenarios that are 10/10 most likely to happen on the spot so I give this a 4 star not a 5 because of the con!

Best freemium app so far for learning Portuguese. This is best freemium app that I have tried so far for learning Portuguese since it has true and false games, left and right sorting games, matching games and fill in the blank games, pronunciation practice, and a lot of information about the cultural context of both the culture and the language. The only thing is that it only lets me learn a limited number of lessons on the free version, but I don’t feel like I’m missing out by not doing the paid version

The Impact. Unacademy has started off teaching us the basics, they made sure to teach the rules and explain everything you need to in a simple not complex way to understand sentences and phrases! Unacademy makes Spanish different from other apps because they are Quick in their lessons but in a flexible way to learn and understand Spanish. At the end of each Chapter they review all the words you learned previously. In conclusion, they have a section for all the words you learned previously incase you forgot!

I love It !!! Super easy and effective. I have not been using the app for long however I’ve noticed it’s much more efficient and easy to navigate than other apps I’ve used I would 100% recommend it to those looking to try learning a new language however I was a bit sad looking at the very few languages it offered for English speakers for example I really wanted to learn Dutch and they do not currently offer a Dutch class for English speakers:( but otherwise I’m happy

I like the app. I really love the learning capabilities of this app. I feel like the sentences make sense and what you’re learning is pretty relevant. But having tried a couple of different language learning apps something I think could use some improvement would be when you’re giving an answer in the other language either explaining that answer afterwards especially if the person got it wrong or giving the english definition so that they can understand it.

THIS IS ACTUALLY GOOD. It’s only the second day and I already know a sentence on how to greet someone in French and I usually don’t write reviews so yea but omg it’s like Duolingo but a version where it actually teaches you stuff and not just random words and the lesson are easy to understand a a clear explanation of a word because I just found out bonjour means good morning and not hello so this is actually a goood app it’s literally the only app that gives me like the need to learn like the lessons are not hard as I thought but my pronunciation is still bad but I know like simple greetings and formal goodbyes so yea this is good try itt!!

Not useful. Why do we have too pay to get free lessons everyday , for the people who don’t pay have to wait until the next day for a new lesson by the time we get on the app 30% of the people who use this app forget 42.9% of the lesson they learned the day before. I feel that we should not have to pay for free lessons everyday I feel that we should get on Airlearn anytime we want and stop anytime we want. Until y’all fix this mess I will continue to use Duolingo. Duolingo helps me learn languages that I never knew how to speak. Duolingo is so awesome and really fun, you can make your profile and make new friends ,and it helps me really well. If I were you I would stop using Airlearn and start using Duolingo.

gets some stuff wrong. My mother was born in Russia and my father in America, so I grew up speaking Russian. I’m not fluent, but I figured this app would be a good way to sharpen my skills. Overall, it’s a great app with a great concept! However, it feels like some of the content might be generated by AI, and I’ve noticed a few mistakes. For example, the app said the Russian word «там» means “here,” but it actually means “there.” The correct word for “here” is «тут», but the app had that flipped too. I’ve had to report a few things, so I recommend double-checking everything you learn. Still, aside from that, it’s a really helpful tool!

Free app. I have been using the free app for about 100 days now. I really like the free app because it allows me to do five lessons plus practice speaking. It has good explanations for vocabulary and reasoning of the use of the words. I’ve used this along side of other programs, and it’s really has helped increase my understanding of the vocabulary and development of the language. I may try the free pro for two weeks during a holiday when I have a little bit more time to focus on improving my Spanish. Thank you for allowing the free app to be used.

My experience learning french. I love airlearn. I tried to learn with Duolingo, but airlearn is MUCH better. It gives me context, how words are used, and a bit of history. I am able to learn words and phrases i will actually use, and the explanations about the gender of words is very helpful. and i love that when i get things wrong, i don’t lose “lives” i just keep going and learning. everyone is bound to make mistakes learning a new language and that is amazing.

What happened to the voice??. I had originally rated this app 5 stars (It really is great!) but all of a sudden the French speaker’s voice changed and I can’t stand listening to it anymore. The change has made it so robotic when before it sounded natural. Please change it, I really liked this app. Also, the new voice is making it say words wrong?? Even in the “words” tab it’s the old voice pronouncing it right, like, it’s saying silent consonants at the ends of the French words 😕

Excellent. I recommend.. I have used many language teaching apps, but I now use this tool exclusively because it keeps me engaged, I feel I’m learning something, it isn’t over gamified, the drawings are perfect, and the language pronunciation is excellent. This app is perfect for someone who has never spoken the language or has a bit of knowledge. I had some background in the language I’m learning because of other apps I used, so it seemed slow at first, but I quickly started to learn new things because the focus is on aspects of the language that are useful to all speakers. The periodic information screens are very interesting and educational. The app lets you notify the developers of any problems, and you can make suggestions as well. I recommend using the 14 day trial.

In my personal opinion. In my personal opinion I don't like it I don't like it because of the voice it's very very annoying but I am a Duolingo user so that could be why but my personal opinion Duolingo it a thousand times better but it does teach you but also the voice gets on my nerves I also just got it but I'm not seeing any exercises where I have to speak the words maybe it is because I just got it or maybe it is just like that I don't know. But I would 1,000% go with Duolingo it has speaking it has listening it even has typing it is one thousand times better than Air learn but like I said it is my opinion.

Great langue learning app but there’s a bug. All the options on the app work perfectly fine and it’s very informative and in my opinion, may even be better than Duolingo. However, when given the audio questions, I can’t play the button to hear it again. I don’t know if this is a bug/glitch, but I hope it gets settled. Some instances, I don’t what it says at first and then I try to play the button to listen again and it won’t let me unfortunately.

Better then Duolingo. For Japanese learners it’s a great app I’d suggest it better then Duolingo cause Duolingo can’t help you remember things without looking at a card but this app I will say absolutely DOMINATES that scale and though it has some wrong words like iie= no when it should be iya, or something else, they care about getting more lessons out which is great but I think they should teach more real Japanese then google translate words you know, still a great app highly recommend, Jesus is king god bless you have a great day:)

Effective app, but.... This app really accelerates learning by using the material in a miriad of ways. I look forward to my daily lessons. This is the "BUT...". I am in a lesson where one is to fill in the blanks. The lesson I am speaking of asks to add the Spanish words for, "A ticket to Spain, please." The correct word for ticket, billete, will not work, showing an error, thus no lessons will proceed. Under support, there is a list of support items. All the items open up, except the one for "Contact us". I want to continue the lessons, as I enjoy them immensely. Due to this error, I am unable to continue.

Korean Language Bug. The app seemed great and I was excited to use it, except for when I started the Korean easy greetings and I had to match a couple illustration flash cards to the correct word, I only saw one flash card when there was supposed to be 2 so I scrolled up and down and swiped to see if I just didn’t see it. I still saw no second flash card so I just exited the lesson and tried again, that didn’t work after a million times to I swiped up on the app and still nothing, I deleted the app and still nothing. I cannot skip the lesson either so I’m stuck on that same lesson that I physically cannot complete.

i beg. Hi, I really like your app! It’s very good at teaching culture and other nice facts about the originality of the language and the country as a whole, which many other language apps fail to do. It’s very fun, I like it a lot! However, I strongly dislike the use of very evident AI produced pictures for your words. At least, for the japanese course. I believe there could be a better alternative that will stop the use of AI and also provide a sense of consistency in the art style. One, maybe you can make the mascot of the blue cat preforming these words, instead of the AI images. If that is not possibly, you can use free images such as Shutterstock or other platforms! I’m sure it would be better. Thank you!!!

Most comprehensive language App. I have had multiple language apps over the last couple of years. This is the most comprehensive app I’ve seen. The lessons are clear with plenty of explanations about grammar (which is what I’ve struggled with) as well as many other cultural facts. The lessons are simple but very effective and they build on each other. My wife and kids all have this app. We are learning another language (Spanish) together!

Love the app so far, just one small issue i’ve caught. I chose to learn Japanese, the app taught me in such a way that i can understand and recall everything i’ve learned so far easily, but i went to look at the words i’ve learned so far, and it showed me the word “san” with a different meaning. When learning it, they taught it as a word to address someone sharing the same meaning as Ms. or Mr. but when i went to review it, it showed it to me saying it meant the number “three” which is true, but it wasn’t the context I had learned it in so far

Love the game but I have a recommended suggestion. I just got it and love it so much I already learnt so much stuff, but would you be able to eventually add onto the “vocabulary list” (words) like the words “un” “una” “mí” “soy” and ect? And some point Can the next next language be English? I know my friend who speaks Spanish struggles with English and this has taught me Spanish fast and very helpful, so I would want to recommend him this app some point! Edit~ alright thank you❤️

Disappointed. Very disappointed about the usage of AI art, I will not be moving forward with using this app as a result. I’m well aware you have a creative team designated to create the visuals and that changes nothing. You should be paying a team of real human artists to create visuals. Another option is to use stock photos. These are two very viable options and there is just no excuse to be using AI art. Considering many people are searching for a duolingo alternative because of their use of AI; I’d recommend heavily considering my, and other people’s criticism if you want their business. Otherwise, you will have to deal with the consequences of missing out on what would otherwise be a very good opportunity to expand your user base.

Amazing!. I have Duolingo and this, I think this is better. I have no motivation to do Duolingo after using this app. It doesn’t press to get u to use pro and it really shows the meaning of the words and stamps it into your brain. Using Duolingo I would always forget words that I probably need to know and it doesn’t really review them other than if ur off for awhile, this app uses them a lot and gives u words u really probably need to know other than nonsense words. It’s amazing!

Very enjoyable learning. In recent years I've studied Mandarin with many of the Apps that are available. I have enjoyed them and also see this app to be similar and well made with an enjoyable artistry and situation by situation learning. I'm only recently starting so couldn't be super critical of it. I've enjoyed it and think it's going to be good. I haven't looked at the charges for the full version though. If it's any large expense I might be more negative and critical. I'll review it again later.

Needs a replay button. I have been using this app since October 2024 and really like the simplicity And the explanations between each lessons on nuances. I really wish I had an option to reply the Spanish sentences all over the app between lessons, also I would like to see different practice quizzes with voice which Duolingo has . I am also a paid subscriber at Duolingo but never open it. hope this app continues to improve and lots of new features are introduced to help individuals like me to learn Spanish quickly.

I like it. I would really say I love it and give it a five star but lemme just explain. It's a really good app and WAY better than duolingo because it's not about the streak it's about communication and it teaches you some of the culture too. Except It's very... Plain. the artstyle is fine I would say??.. but it appears to just look really depressing. besides from that it's a great app because the point is to learn a language not learn art. But I just wanted to share my opinion. And some controls can be confusing but maybe that's just me?

Good app but audio is glitchy. I’ve been using the app to learn Italian and it’s great. I like that the narrator has an Italian accent and it teaches you some cultural facts as you go along. It progresses in a way that makes it easy to learn and understand, and they teach you words that are actually useful. However, I’ve been having some problems with the audio. Sometimes it doesn’t play the audio of the words. This isn’t usually a problem, but when I have to type what I hear it makes it very difficult. Hopefully this is fixed soon because otherwise the app is great!

Great app!. Honestly, I love this app! But I recommend using it with another app as well, it will be faster! I like this app because it’s less challenging yourself, and more taking it slow. There are no hearts or amount of mistakes you can make, and whenever you’re stuck you can just press the little lightbulb! Oh and did I mention you can CHECK ALL THE WORDS YOU’VE LEARNED? That feature needs to be added to Duolingo! I really love Airlearn a lot.

awesome learning app!. I used to have duolingo but it just taught me useless words, this app doesn’t do that! It splits it up into parts, how to say greetings, what to say at restaurants, etc. It also, not to mention, gives you fun facts! Like for me I’m learning Russian, it’s giving me facts about Russia itself! The work put into this app makes it all worth it. But it can have its ups and downs. I wish I could really choose what section I wanted to. Other than that, this app is really good for beginners and I recommend it!

Amazing learning!!. I love the way this app gives you fun facts about the country when youre learning the language, its very interactive and also makes you feel like you're genuinely in the country! It would be also amazing if this app included other eurasian languages, like Turkic and Kazakh, or Greek and others!! Learning such languages through this app would be so wonderful! All I'm looking forward to is learning Turkic, as this app is already efficient in teaching other languages!

Better than Duo - I love this!. I was skeptical at first since there are so many apps… but Airlearn is the first to not just too vocab or random sentences but to explain the why behind it as well as it make fun and gamified. I’ve learned more in two weeks on this app than I have in years on duo. And I loved duo, but I won’t be going back. I’m learning Spanish and this is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. The only thing that’s missing is being able to practice conversation but this app teaches you literally how to put sentences together and for the first time I can THINk in the language I’m learning!

Airlearn is Amazing. This is a super fun and great learning app for many people who want to learn more or even are beginners who are wanting to learn a language. I think this app is personally my favorite I have tried out of many and it is amazing to see how much this app can teach. I’ve only done a couple lessons and I feel that it’s taught me more than any other app in such a short period of time. Nothing else to say rather than how professional and lovable this app is, it is great and i’ve had great experiences with it so far!
