Ads ads ads. I enjoy the actual game but the ads are too much of a disruption. They show up mid-game instead of waiting until the end of a round. And then it takes multiple interactions to close them. It’s nearly unplayable unless you pay.

Super fun too hard. I love this game it is so fun but I need to work my way up to the difficult levels and not start on them please.

Some ads are five minutes long.. I was enjoying this game until the ads became unbearable. If I wanted a hint and needed to see an ad, the ads were over five minutes and there was no way to get out of the ad. Developers. Please check this as this is terrible. I don’t mind 30 second one minute after every game. But even after five minutes still not being able to get out of the ad is terrible. Please fix or many of us will have to delete the game.

Good Game, Needs Adjustments Though. This game is good, but it can use some adjustments. It would be great if you could scroll through all of the definitions, instead of having one pop up only when a correct one is completed.

Interesting Game But Way Too Many Ads. You can’t even complete a single level without getting 20 ads or so and it’s just an egregious amount to where it feels like there is a pop-up ad after every other correct guess. Also if you could add differing levels of difficulty that would be amazing. Other than that it’s an interesting puzzle game.

Love the game. I think it’s a great game, but the letters are on the small side. It would be nice to be able to make the screen bigger when needed. Also, I was thinking it would be nice if you could scramble the tiles, when you get stuck.

Too many ads. LOVE the concept and the game is fun, but there's TOO MANY ADS! I was fine playing with an ad at the end of levels, or even when you start and close the game too. But an ad every 30-45s of game play was excessive and I eventually deleted the app.

Misleading. From the ads promoting this game it’s not the same thing. The promos for it make it seem like there’s a category for the level such as “states” or “weather” and all the words you’re finding fit into the category. This isn’t necessarily a different game just a different concept. It’s fun sometimes but the amount of ads/lack of incentive for hints, make it less fun

Stay away!. I purchased this game in good faith because I got tired of the ads. The “No Ads” icon at the top left of the page disappeared. Now I can have some peace from those moronic ads that replay after you try to end them. I continued playing the game until I got stuck. So I tapped the clue icon and what do I get? A damned ad. I requested a refund, but have yet to see it. I’m not holding my breath.

Good game but needs Improvement. It needs actual levels. I just downloaded the game and I’ve only done 4 rounds so far and I’m already at hard level 4. That doesn’t make sense. Some people like me prefer to turn their brains off when playing word puzzles so having an easy and medium level would be great. I’m about to delete the app but I just wanted to leave my honest opinion.

More ads than play time. I like the idea of this game, and I enjoy the complexity and difficulty level. I don’t like having to spend more time watching ads than getting to play the game. I am playing to relax and for enjoyment, and the overly used ads interrupt my flow. For that reason alone, I’ve deleted the game. Disappointing.

Paid to remove ads but…. I like the game. Really makes you think. I paid to remove ads because it was a good game but way too many ads often. But even paying to remove ads doesn’t remove them when using hints. You still have to sit through 30 + sec ads. Some over 60secs . If you have remove ads for 5.99 it should remove all. Will update stars and change my review if they get rid of all ads.

Too many ads.. I did like this game until the update , now there are too many ads. I used to be able to get through a whole game without an ad; I only saw them at the end of a game or when I wanted coins. Now I can only find about 2 answers before I have to sit though the same false add about a woman in the snow/storm/cold with a baby/dog/child that has nothing to do with the actually game thats being advertised. I don't want to even play this game anymore. Its not relaxing, it’s irritating. I know there is an option to purchase the ad free game, but not everyone can. Dial back the ads, or should I say the “ad”.

Intrusive advertising. If not for all the ads I’d probably love this game. If I could actually play uninterrupted for 10 minutes I’d consider paying to remove ads, but it’s such a turn off that I’d rather find another game to pass the time instead of giving them my money.

Deleted before finishing Level 3. I understand the need to have ads, but getting three ads while trying to finish Level 3 was too much. If you want to draw me in enough that I actually pay to remove ads, I need a bit more time to see if the game is worth it before getting bombarded by ads. This game doesn’t do that. It’s not worth the money to have to pay so early. I think the game is a good idea, but again, I wasn’t really given ample time to make that decision.

Too many ads. The game is fun but you can’t get through a level without at least 3 ads and it requires WiFi to play the game so you’re either forced to sit through them or you have to pay to take them off.

Teach. I don’t understand a lot of words and playing this game I learn words. Its educational and fun to play. I’m hoping it helps me with my words in conversation with others.

Great game with too many ads. I know all mobile games have ads so I can’t hold it against this one too strongly, but it’s annoying that I have to click three Xs to exit every single time. Also, a lot of words seem to be British slang which makes the game harder for me as an American. But it’s fun and just the right amount of challenging otherwise. Oh, also, I downloaded this game because the ad was a grid of USA state syllables but I haven’t found this level in the game yet and I’m starting to think it doesn’t exist, which is sad because it looked like an extra fun challenge. So a bit of false advertising there.

Too many ads. Ads pop up every few minutes - in the beginning, middle, or end of game. And usually long ads. Love the idea of this game but deleted because of ads.

Ad Problem. Enjoy the game very much. The ads are of average consistency but I’m having a problem with a particular ad for Canasta . . . Once this ad appears I can’t get out of it then I have to shut the app down and open it up again. Very frustrating.

Needs improvement!. This is a challenging game but you get an ad after nearly each word you solve and the same ones constantly repeat! Maddening! Please udate game and put a parentheses & number of letters after each clue. Could be made much more fun to play!

Too many ads. Hate that several ads pop up during the game. Bad enough that you have to put up with ads between games but to have them pop up every minute or so is ridiculous! Deleted after three games. Game concept is good which is sad that I can’t continue.

Devs too greedy.. Could be great but money took over for the devs. Far too many ads, playing this game turns your phone into a constant billboard. Waste of time to download, you can’t get into the game to enjoy it, and if you do happen to give it a shot, expect to spend a significantly more amount of time wasted on watching ads than actually playing the game.

Fun with learning. It’s a fun game to play when trying to use your memory to remember stuff, and it’s a good way to get your brain to start working before having to do stuff. I like playing this before I have to go to work because my brain is more alert, and paying attention. I definitely recommend this game!

Fun but. Paid to have ads removed because dang that’s a lot of ads. But I’m ok with paying, it’s a fun game. However, I finished a weekend challenge which is not easy to do and did not get any of the rewards. Sent a message and nothing. I don’t play any more because I feel like I got ripped off. This is a fun game but don’t bother with the challenges because there’s no reward for success.

FUN GAME!. This is the first time I've ever played this game, so I may have to revise my review in the future, but as things stand at this moment, I feel this is a terrific game to play. But I just wish the developers would ask for a review later, after I've played this game for, at the very least, several days. As my review isn't based on my expertise in playing this particular game. I don't think it's a very accurate review because of this. However, as of now, I greatly enjoy playing this word game. The advertisements aren't too frequent or too intrusive. To date, at any rate. And, should they become so, there is the opportunity to purchase the ad free version. At this point, I'm unsure if I will need to purchase ad free version. As mentioned previously, it's too early to tell. Here's what I'd like to tell the developers: Ask me later, not after I've played this game for 30 minutes. I realize I have the option of choosing to review later, but I have no idea if I would be asked for a review at a later date. Who knows?

Too many ads. I don’t mind when ads play after a level or round but to put ads while in the middle of a level is annoying, it’s every 20 Seconds. Immediately deleted

Way TooMany Ads. Had a minimum of 6-8 ads in level three - while I understand ads are required for free games, it is obnoxious to have so many ads you spend more time watching than playing the game. As mentioned in other reviews, this occurred in LEVEL 3! Come on, that is ridiculous! Deleted a good puzzle game because of this! Don’t waste your time!

Paid for ads and still receiving them. I like this game but the ads were annoying from the start. I’d enjoy playing this game if the developers were honest and removed ads once they had purchased for it. I will wait for a response and then dispute the charges due to a dishonest company. Do not make the purchase to remove ads because it will not be honored.

Not fun at all. I never do a review when a game asked for one. It takes me time to thoroughly play a game before I know the review that is needed. I have enjoyed how the game challenges me in a way that other puzzle games haven’t. BUT I am on level 4 and I get an ad that I have to sit through every two answers that I give on the same level. I am used to after a level is done that I have to watch an ad which is fine but I am on level 4 and I just watched four ads and haven’t finished the level. No way would I pay for ad free. That’s not the type of game that I want to play or support.

Ad Crazy!!. I actually really like this game, but the ads are just crazy. They pop up way too often and last way too long. I am ending up watching ads with a little game time in between, which is way too much. Then, the majority of the time, it’s 2 ads back to back with no playing in between. Sorry, but I have to delete the game for that reason.

Lots of errors. It’s kind of fun, but there are misspellings in some of the answers- eg. Causal vs casual… makes it juuuust a little difficult. Some of the answers are also incredibly obscure words I’ve never heard of, and some of them don’t even make sense, they’re just random words I’m able to create, but they don’t mean the same thing as the prompt. The game is annoying more than anything

Where I started. I could only start at level 8. Wish I could have found level 1 - if there is one.

Great game but same puzzles over and over.. I enjoyed the game enough to pay for no ads. It’s fun, addicting and challenging. After a few weeks of constant playing I can see it’s the same puzzles for the weekly challenges. PLEASE update with new puzzles regularly!!

Game fun. While playing it within 3 minutes the ads started. Every three fusses another ad. So you could spend 10 minutes watching ads while playing a 10 minute game. I never buy an add removal in the first two weeks. I want to see if I like a game well enough to invest. My policy. After the second game I removed the app. To many ads.

Unplayable due to greed. This game has great potential, however it's so crammed with ads that I do not find any joy in playing it and will not continue to play it. Banner ads and optional ads to gain hints are enough but they had to add popup ads too, completely ruining the whole game. The only games I ever tolerate and willingly watch ads on are the games that make it totally optional, because those game developers actually care about the enjoyment of their customers, whereas developers like this one only care about money. Shame.

Too many ads.. Surprisingly, as an avid writer and word puzzle lover, I was pleasantly impressed to find this game excitingly challenging. That being said, the sheer amount of ads is crazy! I like to listen to music while playing games as well, but the even banner ads will end up pausing whatever I’m listening to every ten seconds. Super frustrating. I’m normally willing to put up with ads, but this game contains the most ads of any other game I’ve played.

Too many ads; some tiles don’t respond. Ads interrupt the game right in the middle of a round, sometimes more than once. It would be more acceptable if the ads were between levels or at logical breaks. Very annoying! Sometimes the tile doesn't respond when you click on it—even if you’re correctly spelling the word.

Makes me think. Love this game making words but find that many words are misspelled or not really a ‘real’ word at all, very bad use of English language, words spelled as slang. Too many ads that I lose my train of thought. But I love the concept.

It’s okay. This should have levels. Like easy, medium and hard. And you should be able to win hints. You have to watch a minute to two minute video to get two hints. The game itself was a cool idea but it’s just too hard for me. And it gets frustrating to have to constantly watch an ad to get two hints and it barely helps you. Good luck to anyone in the future. If they decide to change the settings and the hints, I may redownload it. But for now, I cannot play it.

Great game but broken hints. I really like this game. It’s challenging and really fun to play. The hints seem to be broken though. Every time I’m stuck I click on the hints and they don’t work. I have a few stacked up but when I click on them they don’t do anything. Everything else about the game is perfectly fine. A lot of the reviews say too many ads but too be honest I don’t mind them. I just go out of the app and then go back in.

Too many adds. Each level has about 8 puzzles and at least 5 adds in between each game plus another when you pass the level. The amount of ads is annoying but other than that I really enjoy this game.

Has Potential, Too Many Ads Ruin the Game. I get there are ads. It’s the way of mobile gaming these days. But this one takes it to a new level. I could tolerate an ad after a level or two. But this will interrupt you mid level and make you watch an ad. Finish the level? Ad. Hint? Ad. Took a halfway decent concept and ruined it. This game is just a series of mini games for an ad app.

wow... just wow.... I hope you developers see this. THERE IS SO MANY ADS!!!! I know that is not your fault, but it just annoys me when and ad pops up every 2 seconds, and i have to watch it. That is my only reason it is 4 stars, because other than that this game is amazing! I saw an ad of this and I thought why not? So I downloaded it and for a little while and I loved it!!! This is now one of my favorite apps, except for the ADS!!!! But anyway thank you for making an amazing app for me and all the other people out there to enjoy.

Odd clue behavior. I concur with others about the ads (incessant and annoying), HOWEVER I have noticed some peculiar behavior in the game: - a clue is given yet not all portions of the word are available - a clue is given (1 of 3 clues) and when you solve one clue the a word segment changes to a different word segment - occasionally you will go to the next game and a partially completed game that you completed already appears. BUGGY programming!!!

Could be better. I love that it’s challenging enough to where I can get it but there’s too many ads, every time I exit the game I lose the daily challenges and am stuck on the level I’ve been stuck on. I come back and figure out some words but I have to play another game instead of just playing another level like the daily’s.

Stops every two minutes for long stupid ads. I know that ads are necessary for the developer to make money but some apps have entirely too many, too frequently, and too long. This is one of those apps. Also there is very limited options for the player if they get stumped. The only option is to quickly shell out a lot of money. The game is ok but not fun enough to sit and watch ads after every answer and certainly not fun enough to pay money for. Deleting

Too Many Ads. This game is so good BUT even opening the app and trying to start a new level, there’s an ad. Usually I’m okay with it but even in the middle of the level, and of course at the end, there is an ad. Offering a “no ads deal” for $50 is egregious, not ok. I hope I can find another game similar to this with less ads.

Fun.. but the ads!. I love this game, but the ads are too long and pop up all the time. I end up switching games because it’s just too much after a bit. But it’s fun! I’d love to be able to play long enough to finish a game in one sitting.

What a Shame. Great game.. I find most word games too simple. This game is sufficiently challenging to make it highly enjoyable. However, there are so many ads, I couldn't stand it and have deleted it after completing just 6 levels.. I know and respect that developers have the right to earn from their efforts, and I would be happy to watch ads at the end/beginning of a level.. but this game inserts not one, but at least 2 ads during the middle of a level. What a shame that greed has now taken me from watching ANY of their ads…. bye bye

Challenging but fun. Way too many ads. Watch an ad to get a clue and as soon as game resumes there’s another ad. Very aggravating. Would like for the tiles to be bigger and the letter font bolder for older eyes. Also the grammar doesn’t always match. Plural clue but singular answer/ verb tenses/ adverbs not nouns. But a fun game.

my review.. i am a 14 year old child, i saw this ad and thought what an amazing game, BOY was i wrong. instead when i got on this game keep in the mind the game 12+ and older its asking me what is a sea robber? who would know that? worst game EVER deleting asap.

Sir believe me or not you ruined my spellings, let me put it in this way if your mother knit a sweater its from 50/75 yards yarn which turned into a sweater, what I mean is a puzzel we are solving one by one its like a sweater. Toooooo many ads in the wrong time. Could be a great game but constant interruptions for ads longer than play time. Impossible to construct words with thoughts being interrupted. Complete lack of understanding of how this game could be played. Never mond that the ads submitted are in no way related to the interest of someone that would actually want to play this game. No way to turn them off either.

New update = too many ads. I enjoyed this app, even with the ads between games. But the new update that dropped today is causing ads in between submitting answers. Even the scammy “you’ve won!” browser pop ups. It’s ridiculous and you can’t even enjoy playing one round now. Unfortunately, I had to delete the app.

Night mode needed. Love this game. Only reason for 4 stars is I wish there was a dark/night mode. I like playing before I fall asleep at night!

Too many ads!. Unlike some other games from “hitapps”, this game has too many ads. I’ve hit multiple ad breaks within the same level without taking a certain amount of time to complete. Not as fun because of that.

Could be good. It's a reasonably fun word game but the ads interfere with the enjoyment. Picture working a crossword puzzle with an ad after every word solved rather than after a solving a puzzle.

Suspicious Activity. I was playing the game and while I was sitting there thinking it opened a tab in my browser to say my phone had been hacked. An obvious phishing scheme. Don’t download this app, it is trying to bait you. I was going to report to Apple to the App Store report a problem link doesn’t work.

Still have ads…why?. I purchased the game but there are still too many ads. I want my money back if I have to watch the ads anyways!! Refund then delete.

Writing this review waiting for an ad. This app pops ads so frequently I took my time waiting for one to write this review-YOU ARE WELCOME Whenever you download a new app they ask for a rating right away before they start ruining the experience with NONSTOP ADS. This is no different. Maybe 2 per game is reasonable but in one game it will legitimately interrupt you 10+ times with an ad. It makes one game take forever and the ads are so repetitive. I understand that’s how these apps make money but it ultimately ruins what could be a good experience. I also wish there were themes with the games.

Disruptive ads!!. This seemed like a fun game to try because I love word games, but when the ads interrupt gameplay, that is an auto-delete for me. I know that ads are a necessary evil, and I expect them BETWEEN games. But I was only on level 2 and had at least 3 ads interrupt a game. That is unacceptable. Deleted.

NOT WORTH IT!. Too many ads! It’s bad enough when you have to sit through LONG running ads between levels. But this app makes you sit through several ads just to complete a level. Absolutely not worth it! Simply a waste of time! I am deleting before I get to level five.

WAY too many ads. I love word games that are challenging, and this one fits the bill, but I will delete the game because I feel that having to watch four ads before you finish one level is ridiculous. I understand that ads are necessary, but come on! Save them for the end of a level.

Great game. I enjoy the challenge. Thank you! I got so far, used up the coins for hints, now I am having trouble. I can’t spend money, sorry. So how do I get more coins? It’s getting to where I don’t even want to bother, I’m stuck.

Clues don’t always match. Some of the clues are not in the right format, as in it asks for a noun and the answer is a participle. AND… so many ads you’d think the game is just filler between the real purpose of this game: to be forced to watch thousands of ads.

Needs a Shuffle Option. While this game can be fun and challenging, a shuffle option (that would change the arrangement of existing tiles) would do this game wonders.

Very challenging and time absorbing. This is a very fun game that takes a while to finish. It is challenging, trying to figure out the answers.

Could be better. Easy to tell not developed by anyone who knows the rules of puzzles. Or not with English as primary language. Example…Does not maintain tense from clue to solution. Clue may indicate a verb but answer is a noun. Disappointing

it's ok. It's fun, and kinda addicting but the ONLY hints you have and can get are the ones you start the game with! And the only other way you can get 1 hint is to watch a stupid ad!

Ads prevent gameplay. I literally can’t even play the game because the ads only open blank black screens and there’s no way to get around them. If I tap the screen at any point or after any amount of time, it just opens a download screen for whatever ad should have been displayed but wasn’t.

Fun, but….. fascinating game, but entirely too many ads. Two or three solutions found and sit through another ad! My time is too valuable to me for that, even if it is not to you. Moving on!

Too many ads. I liked the game, but I only played til level 3, and in it had at least 6 ads. Can’t imagine how many the higher levels have. And with a $50 ad-free option, they’re pushing for it too much. Sorry, but nah.

Good fun. Keeps the brain engaged and doesn’t feel like a waste of time. Reasonable amount of ads.

Sarah. Too many ads! Can barely concentrate on playing the game because of ad interruption. The game itself is great. Really wish I could. Enjoy it more by not having so many. It’s actually almost to the point of being ridiculous.

Could be fun but it’s not!. This game has a lot of potential but even more ads! I usually don’t mind ads in fact that’s how I find new games however, this app has numerous ads in the middle of play. I will be deleting it immediately.

Sync. Love this game. It’s good on challenging my vocabulary. Only problem is I really wish it would sync between my phone and iPad. I hate having to redo the same level on both devices.

Great game but way to many ADS. The ads come up in the middle of a round and then after the round. You have to watch an ad for a hint and ANOTHER one follows the one you just watched! I’m only on level 4 and have already seen 7 or 8 ads! Deleting it. 🤷‍♀️

TOO MANY ADS. This game seemed like it would be enjoyable, but you can’t even complete a level without it stopping for ads. Three ads in ONE level. I deleted it. I have 2 stars instead of one because I do like the premise of the game.

Unable to give a positive review. Unable to give a positive review because ads are showing after every word I submit. The game itself is fine. The game experience is terrible. I am committed to NOT downloading or installing any of the advertised games.

Where are the directions and info?. I’ve been playing for a couple of weeks, but cannot locate any information on how to earn coins???

Challenging. This is very challenger so often you need to get clues, plus there are regular ads which means you spend more time looking at ads than playing the game. I’d play it more if there weren’t so many ads

Repeat Puzzles. Love the game. The ads are annoying, but short, so I can live with that…but why do you keep repeating the same puzzles over and over on Wordy Weekend? I have them memorized!
