Great game but no option for no ads. Great game i could play it non stop, if there was an option to pay for no ads. When i first started playing i got an in-game notification to pay for no ads but i couldn’t select anything to bring me to that purchase and there’s nothing in the in-game store for no ads. which is very disappointing because i do really like this game but the constant ads are annoying and makes me not want to play for long.

Loved it at first BUT…. I loved this game at first, but I’m already sick of so many ads. Please give us the option to buy the app outright. I also bought the ad free Word Chums years ago and would love to keep playing this one, but if I can’t buy ad free, it won’t be worth my time; with so many ads it’s become tedious.

A phenomenal game!!. I cannot stop playing this. The moment to moment gameplay makes me feel so smart, and it’s so much fun to work with the letters available to make big words. The Library of Lost Words gives it that special replay value, and the levels are so well balanced that it’s challenging but just fair enough to work on getting 3 stars on every level! I absolutely love this game!

Too Many ADS!. I installed this game just a couple of days ago and REALLY enjoy it as I am always looking for a different kind of word game. Initially it seems the interfering kind of ads … the ones that interrupt you and take “time” were minimal since ads continually run in a banner style at the top of the page. Since reaching Levels in the mid 60’s, however, the interfering big ads are popping up after nearly every level is completed. It takes away my enjoyment of the overall game and I wind up closing out the game as soon as one appears just in retaliation. I would definitely pay a reasonable fee to get rid of these annoying ads.

Word-forming is fine. I like it so far but could do without all the extras, like earning coins, collecting “ books” and finding lost words and putting them in a book in the “ library.”!id prefer to just use the letters to try to make words, without all the childish stuff. Maybe I’m just too old for this game. So far, it’s pretty easy.

Challenging. I’m very good at word games. I can never find a game that’s difficult enough to be fun for me. This game can be played by anyone, but it does offer some challenges. You can redo a level to get the bonus if you need. You also collect books along the way. Each book contains a themed list of words to collect for prizes. I’ve tried countless word games, and this is one of my favorites. I generally play Wordle, Spelling Bee, and the crossword in The NY Times game app. Now I’ve added Wordscapes Solitaire to the list.

Wordscapes Solitaire. Wordscapes Solitaire is a break from the usual word games out there. The graphics are nice and the sound is good. My only suggestion would be to lower the price of No Ads, ten bucks is a little heavy for a word game. Maybe have a sale of 50 percent off or something, I don’t know, just a thought. Great game you have here!

Fun and Mind Taxing. I really like this game with the different levels and challenges to come up with words. It helps me to remember words I’ve forgotten due to cognitive issues. But I’ve given it three stars because of all the ads! It starts off with just banner ads or ones for extra coins. I can handle those. Then, after a certain level, it’s an ad after every hand! Ridiculous!! And to get rid of ads permanently—a monthly fee?! Really?! I would pay a one time fee but not monthly. I don’t love it THAT much. Which is why I deleted it. Too bad because I did like how this was helping my cognitive thinking.

Nice word game. A bit different than other word games and I play a lot of them. Besides the main game I like the extras: lost words, themes, graphics. The gameplay is smooth and well designed. The only thing I find objectionable is the price for No Ads ($9.99 for every 30 days), no thx, I’ll just ignore the ads like I usually do. As I like to pay something for games I play I chose a package of option objects. Thumbs up.

Option To Remove Ads Requested (updated). Update: Option to remove ads for 24 hours or 30 days at a time (way to expensive) but Ok .. that’s a start and that’s an option so having that option is much appreciated. I’m sticking to my word. 5 stars cause the game is awesome and I love word games. A one time payment would awesome! I would do that in a heartbeat. (Hint Hint 😉) Original Review: This game is fun and addicting. I love it but there are way to many ads. Please give the option to remove the ads. When the option becomes available I will change to 5 stars. The further along you get, the more ads there are. Annoying and unbearable

New problem.. I have been playing this game and really enjoying it. I understand why there’s ads after every hand because that’s how you make your living. however, today an ad came on in the middle of a hand at the top of the screen. It was something about scanning my computer and it was making a loud beeping emergency noise. my two year old had climbed into bed and was sleeping and woke up screaming to that noise. Please delete that ad or at least put it on in between games when I’m expecting it.

Fun, but …. This is a super fun game, and I love it. But I’m on the edge of deleting it for these two reasons: 1) it’s gotten so bloody hard that I have to do levels again and again - and I rarely make the bonus points anymore. Why do game developers do that? Do they want me to get fed up and delete it, really? How does that make them money? And 2) get a real dictionary - please. The words “June” and “Saxon” and “Monday” were not accepted - seriously? These are English words - very frustrating to make good words and have them disallowed. Otherwise, pretty fun.

Great game!. It’s a fun and challenging game. I got hooked the very first time I played it after downloading the app. My only issue is that the app makes my phone run really hot. I’m not sure why that is, but it’s one of the reasons why I’ve began to play the game a lot less (for safety reasons). Also, the ads aren’t intrusive since they only pop up after I beat the level, but I would consider getting the ad-free version if wasn’t an entire monthly subscription service. I’ve bought the ad-free version for many games, & it’s always been a onetime charge. So asking for $10 every month to remove ads is just a bit greedy to me. A subscription would be more helpful if it was reserved for items or features that helps the player beat levels.

Fin at first,but then. Te higher you go the harder they make it with letters that you have to play five times to get rid of that card and if you run out of draw cards, the first time you pay 150 coins, 250 the second time and even more if you need more draw cards. They give you a bonus of 40 coins for challenges such as finishing within a time limit, not using any 2 letter words, but the worst is getting 500, 700 points or more, then the letters don’t give you options to make high scoring words. You spend coins quickly, but don’t earn them very fast. I know they want you to buy coins in their store, but I play games for fun and being on a fixed income, I can’t afford add-ons. The game should be easy to play for everybody. Developers need to up the coin earnings and decrease the amounts of coins you have to spend to complete a level. I am almost to 200 and I’m about ready to delete it, which is a shame because I enjoy playing.

Exactly what the ad shows. This game is exactly what it shows in the ads. The ads are mostly banner ads and not intrusive. The first few levels are painfully simple, but about level 11 it starts giving you options instead of directing you to the solution. So far, it’s fun.

Review and Request. The request first: Please give us a way to remove ads! This would be a 5-star review if only I could pay not to get constant ads between levels. The game is well-worth $5 or $6. The game is a lot of fun with interesting mechanics. Requires more thought than most of the word games on this app, which I like. I like finding the “hidden” words and filling the books in my library. In fact, I like everything about the game except for the inability to remove ads.

Challenging!. Not the ordinary word game! There are bonus awards for creating words of different lengths and finding ‘hidden words’ Hidden words are fun because you get books of different topics and then try to get all the words in those books for extra awards! There are locks to unlock, words to find and it is Challenging!! Just try it for 10 minutes, then tell me you hate it…..I “double dog, stick your tongue to the icy pole, dare you! 😏😏😏ENJOY!

Great game but…. Love the game but the only thing I would suggest is that during the actual gameplay, we should see the library of lost words so I don’t make the same words and get more of the books done. It’s kind of a chore to go back and forth and try to remember what I’ve already scratched off

Great game with ads done the right way!. When I read the reviews of the game I saw people complaining about ads and I figured it was going to be one of those games where you can’t even finish your turn without having to watch a 60 second ad. I was pleasantly surprised that is not the case. There is a small ad banner at the top while you play and after your turn is over there is what is usually a very brief ad. Lots of coins to be earned by a daily free spin the wheel and 25 coins free every hour. You can get more by watching ads. I haven’t had to much because the coin for finishing a round is decent plus the coins from finding missing words. Gameplay is challenging without being impossible. Very fun way to spend a little time.

No ads?. So far I am liking this game very much….NO ADS. The screenshots are actually in the game, hard to believe. Usually a game will look like a great idea, then when you load the game….its not even close to what it looks like. This game is fabulous, fast paced & fun. It’s not easy to find an interesting word game you can play and level up without the ads after each level. I will definitely stop playing if I have to watch a ridiculous ad about a homeless mom and kid or a swimming king. It’s a relaxing game that is both educational, enjoyable and entertaining. Thanks

NO ADS - NOT JUST FOR 30 DAYS. I love this game! And like someone else said it would get five stars if there were no ads after every single game. But it’s not worth $10 plus A MONTH just to have no ads. I think you guys should make that $10 for no ads permanently, just my two cents thanks AND… I am not sure other people are willing to pay $10 a month for it but I’m hoping that they read that before they do pay $10 and realize it’s only for 30 days.

What a great game! Very relaxing, too!. It’s rare that I write reviews, but… I seriously love this game! It’s very fun, challenging, and addictive. In the short span of a few days I’ve been playing it, haha. I do really enjoy the mashup of word games and solitaire! I also enjoy how this game provides one with endless fun. Plus, the visual elements within the game are fantastic, I may add! Overall, I love it!

Beware before you start playing. Is this game enjoyable? Absolutely. When you first begin there’s short ads every few games. Totally annoying but manageable. However, as you get further the ads come after Every. Single. Level. I’m of the mind if I’m going to play often I’ll purchase. Price is $9.99. A bit steep but I was prepared since I find myself playing often. However, the amount gives you ONLY 30 days ad free. Umm what ?? Do better.

Ads cause music to stop. I love the music in this game but I'd day every like 2 or 3 games, after I dismiss the ad the music stops playing in the game. It's cool music, it kinda sound like the X Files theme tune. I wish the ads didn't cause the music to stop because I have to force close the app and reopen it if I want the music back. I haven't figured out another way to get the music back on other than doing that.

Challenging!. I love this word game! It helps keep my mind sharp by helping me figure out different words with a limited number of letters. I’d give this game five stars if it didn't have so many commercials! After every game, there’s a commercial. It's ridiculous!! If I can find a game that’s similar to this one without the ads, I will probably delete this one and go to the other one.

Fun , different & addicting. I love this word game. It is different than most of the other apps that I have played, which is refreshing since a lot of the apps are just the same games with different graphics. I am usually disappointed after the first few minutes and end up deleting them. So it is nice to have something unique for a change. It is relaxing & enjoyable!

Why so many ads. I just started playing this game a couple weeks ago and i love it! I’m already on level 963. I only have one issue with this game and that’s when you use the free card to help spell a word you can’t pick the letter. There has been numerous times I’ve used them to spell a word I need for the books and I don’t get the word. It would be awesome if we could pick the letter we want. Thank you

Really fun game until you’re forced to pay to play. This game is really fun until you’re about 50 levels in and then they force you to watch long videos after every single level or play. I think it’s a shame that businesses and developers write games like this wasting our time unless we want to pay $9.99 per month, which is a ridiculous amount for a game. Basically this shameful technique is to get you addicted and then coerce you to pay unless you want to spend more time watching ads than actually playing.

Seriously?. I used to love this game. Then I updated it and I’m over it. I had 17,000 points and they are giving me puzzles with the letter Z that I have to use 5 times before it uncovers the letter beneath it. The other was a letter Y. I have no other tiles showing so I have no choice but to buy more cards (which gives me NO vowels). It’s programmed to be impossible once you have a lot of points. I am no longer trying to better my game by refusing to use 2 letter words. Now, I make any 2 letter words just to get to the better letters, which doesn’t happen. Reward for meaning goal is so minuscule that I stopped trying. I’m going to spend my points and delete this app.

Fun game but constant ads. The gameplay is really fun, assembling words from letter boards. Lots of little twists to keep it interesting. The ads are constant although some are fairly short but many have no volume toggle and some are quite loud! Saw there was an update today adding the pay for no ads feature. Installed it and found PF wants a whopping $9.99 a month for no ads! 😳 Not sure if everyone agreed on this reach deep into our pockets cuz it shows $9.99 for 30 days of no ads, and also says it's a one-time charge. The game is so fun I might have considered it as a one-time charge but monthly?! Not a chance.

Good game, Ads are crazy.. I like this game. It is fun, challenging, not too hard, lots of levels. HOWEVER, $10 US per MONTH to remove ads is absolutely insane. Paying $10 for a lifetime of free ads is pushing it. But to make it only last a month, is just not going to cut it. Plus, there’s a minimum of 15 second ad after every level (which takes maybe a full minute to play), I think if you really are listening and taking the opinions and feedback of all of your players seriously (like you’ve mentioned multiple times in your responses to reviews) you will hear that mostly people are willing to pay to remove ads. Just not at that price point. $120 a year for a mobile game is crazy. That’s just a lot of money.

Enjoy this game. I enjoy this game a lot! My biggest pet peeve is that the game doesn’t pick up where I left off. If my phone goes to sleep or I’m away from the game too long when it’s open, it will make me start the level completely over. So I’ve lost any helps that I used or any money that I’ve spent to get so far on the game. It makes me start from the beginning making me use more helps and money. Please fix that.

Great game. I never write reviews but had to for this game. I played Wordscapes for a long time but the puzzles were repeating too often. This game is fun and challenging and offers a different goal for each level. Even if you don’t keep up with your Library and all the other extras they offer, you’ll still enjoy it. Also, stop complaining about ads. It’s a free game and you can skip the ad after five seconds… 🙄

I love words. I love this game. In fact, I am on Level 1400. I play a few hours a day. I have notice sometimes after just a few minutes the sounds stops. Can you please fix it ? If I close the app, sometimes it comes back and other times it doesn’t. It is glitch in the system. Oh thanks for including the “Qu”.

Fun, but…. This is one of the best word games I have played, but you only get to play 5 rounds. The in-app purchase costs to keep playing is ridiculous. 70,400 coins for $80 is ridiculous when that only gets you 70 plays (of 5). I could do 70 rounds in 30 min. It costs $10 to remove ads. If they want to actually make money, they could make the offers reasonable. I don’t mind spending money on games I enjoy, but this is NOT WORTH IT.

SUPER fun game…however…. Let me start out by saying I absolutely love this game!! I like it so much I actually started an excel sheet to keep track of the “lost words” (that’s the nerd in me, I guess)…HOWEVER…it doesn’t give you any “Q’s”, so you’re forced to use a wild card, which wouldn’t be a big deal IF you were actually able to select the letter you want the wild card to represent! I created “quest” using a wild card and apparently it recognized it as guest, maybe? But how am I supposed to find the lost word if I cannot tell it to use the wild card for the letter Q? There have been other words that it recognized as other words, that I was trying to use the wild cards to make the lost word, as well. So, please, make a way for you to choose what letter you want the wild card to represent! If you did this, I would be more than happy to give this game 5 stars!

Review. I really enjoy this game. Thousands of words to find and it tests me to learn new words. However, on the 5th shelf there is a book “Ends With X”. The word TIX is listed but when I tried to use that word it does not register as a valid word. Unable to complete this book. Also, there are too many levels that have 2-4 X Y Z. This is way too many. Need more letters like CH. I would like to recommend that something is provided when using a wild card so you can pick the letter you want. Have used wild card to make words that have the letter Q and the word does not appear as one I can collect. I have only seen the actual letter Q one time. I’m on level 1525 so I should have seen it more.

Greedy Dev Company. As much as I actually like the game, as someone who routinely purchases no ads options, you folks are committing highway robbery comparatively speaking. Never have I encountered a game where I have to pay monthly to keep it ad free. Apple Arcade is less expensive and provides hundreds of games to choose from. On top of that, though rare, I have had pop up ads still occur a total of at least 4 times since purchase. For the price I’m paying, that shouldn’t be happening at all, and quite frankly, banner ads should be removed as well.

This game steals your "life hearts" without explaination. I've played over 100 levels of this interesting word game. It was enjoyable until I began noticing that without actually quitting any level early, suddenly I had no "life hearts" left to continue the game without either waiting for them to regenerate or to purchase them. After this occurred for the 7th time, I went the internet for an explaination (including the publisher's website) and found nothing. So when I was playing again and all my life hearts inexplicably disappeared for the 8th time, it was time to delete and write a review. A pity really, it was almost a decent word game...

Good Once You Pass Beginner Levels. The first couple dozen levels give zero challenge and I was nearly ready to give it up and delete the app. But I knew if I pushed ahead the harder it would be. Once you get past that threshold, it’s more enjoyable. I wish it was straight up like the Solitaire original stacks and would really make you think. There needs to be an option for it to be hard. Like hey do you want a challenge? Why yes I do thanks. Instead they force you to run the gauntlet of god mode which practically l give you the words. This isn’t the only game that does that. Your audience isn’t stupid. You can knock this off and let us think for ourselves. We’ll figure it out. I want a word game cuz I love words and my Scrabble days are behind me.

Fun game bad marketing strategy. This is an awesome game. That being said, it’s too bad they extort you with ads. I don’t pay to remove ads; I delete the apps that extort money from you to remove ads. I spend my hard earned money on fun games that I want to keep playing. There are too many fun games out there that actually let you enjoy the game and spend money IN the game. I wish the creators would come up with exciting game play that players would WANT to spend money on. Annoying people with ads until they give up their money is wrong. You have an amazing game here but my money isn’t going to it.

Fun but ads are annoying. I love this game, it’s super addictive. Only downside is that there are constant ads and you can’t pay a one-time fee to purchase no ads, you have to pay $9.99 per 30 days to remove them which is super annoying. Not sure if I’ll keep it because of that, but we’ll see. Fun while it’s lasting!

Simulating game but poor vocabulary. I love this game. It’s got so many automatic perks and is easy to jump right in and play. BUT…. It uses slang and text words and it doesn’t seem right when you’re playing a game that can expand your vocabulary. ET: past tense of eat. “Have you et yet?” Za: short for pizza. (And a teen in music) Cine: short for cinema. Those are just the ones I had in the last game I played. SMH: shaking my head 😜 I think it would also be better if the game tells you when you select a word and it’s not a “lost word,” to give you the opportunity to try a different word. Lastly, the game should allow a player to refer to the library of lost words during the game. I’m on level 1400, I’ve completed seven books but I’ve got five shelves of new books of lost words. These are just pet peeves. I’m still very happy playing it. I just think improvements are in order.

Constant Ads!. There’s an ad as soon as you open the app. There’s an ad after every single hand. You cannot even collect what you’ve won until you watch an ad. The only way to omit ads is to pay $10 a month. If it was a one time payment I would do it because the game itself is fun. The annoying banner at the top is plenty of ads. Greedy people If there’s not a better option for a one time payment to avoid ads in the very very near future I’m deleting the game. 2 stars because it’s fun. Minus 3 stars because of the ads

Starts Great then so many ads. Have has an ad bar at the top and starts out very few ads, then it starts doing ads after about every two levels, then after every level then almost before a level and after level then loading into the game and just constant; then they go from short ones that are easy to skip to extended ones to longer ones to having to wait for a pop up X to pop up X to another pop up on the save ad with arrows to skip and then another X to hit and then closing page delay. Fun game and relaxing and good concepts but once you really start to enjoy it, they attack you with more and more ads. Can’t even but a purchase to get rid of ads, waste.

Fun game. Lots of ads.. I like this game a lot. Creating words and seeing how many letters I can use to make the longest word possible is great. I love chasing the “lost” words also. Biggest downer is there is an ad after every turn. I don’t mind some ads. But after every single turn is annoying. Since there is no ad removable option I am not sure how long I will stay interested in playing if all I am doing is watching ad after ad.

Just One Issue. I’m have finally found a game that is challenging, isn’t boring or repetitive, and I don’t get easily bored with. The unbelievable amount of ads is one thing, but if I have muted an ad that’s playing, I believe it should stay muted when it goes to the next ad. I spend too much time re-muting and re-muting, and some ads either have no mute button, or the sound plays despite the mute button showing that it’s off. It’s frustrating.

Yikes on the ad-removal update. So a lot of people were asking for a way to make a no ads purchase for this game. Well they delivered… in the worst way possible. Not only is the price terrible ($10 USD) which is already asking too much for what is essentially a quality of life feature, but the purchase only lasts for 1 MONTH and then you have to make it again. I’m sure the devs could use the money but good lord that’s some EA/Ubisoft levels of greed there. Dropping my rating 2 stars due to this.

Inappropriate ads. I love this game but I have to delete the app because the types of ads that they play between the around are completely inappropriate on a game that may be played by or seen by young people. Ads about sex, the taste of vaginas, and ads to use drugs. Unfortunately, I have to delete because so many of the ads are so x-rated I can’t risk my kids watching them. Too bad the ads on an educational game are not family friendly.

Finally - Something different. Just started playing, but I like it so far. It is different than other word games. When I saw the ad for this game at first I thought the ad would probably not match up to the game. But it did. Also, so many word games have you drawing lines from random letters to create words and I find those boring. With the letters hidden underneath like cards it adds a little challenge. The game moves fast and smooth. No hiccups and so far, not too many ads. I hope it stays that way. So many games have started putting ads after a round, at the beginning and ending of a game and even right after you start. I have deleted so many of these games for too many ads. I do wish I could play the game horizontally.

Too many ads. You have to wade through an ad every couple of minutes. Greedy.

Looooong ads. In addition to the offensiveness of the Gossip Harbor ads, where you get to choose whether a single mother eats or has heat, there seems to be no limit on how long these ads can run before you can close them. I understand the revenue model, and that I agreed to it when I started to play, but this is way over the line.

Fantastic Game. Must have game! Only one quick forced ad straight after finished round, which is totally bearable. Option to watch more ads to gain rewards. Gameplay & concept is FLAWLESS! Love the hidden words!

Amazing and addictive but crashing. Great game but started crashing non stop making it unplayable. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but found it doesn’t save your progress despite having an in game profile. Was level 700+ and had found and inscribed majority of lost words. So disappointing because I really loved this game

Amazingly Addictive. Best word game I have ever played. Starts easy but increases in complexity and difficulty. The timed games get my neurons firing and my heart racing.

Too Many Ads. Was really enjoying this game until the ads made their appearance. Is it really necessary to have an ad after EVERY move? And some are far too long, much longer than the usual 5 seconds. Some ads are expected, it’s a free game after all, so has to be funded somehow, but not after every move. I am now seriously considering deleting this game.

Piggy Back. It's not only your game (s), but others as well. Why after earning a bunch of stuff (coins, gems, XP, etc), are we expected to pay to retrieve them? It not right. Players have earned these things. They shouldn't have to pay you to get them.

Great game too many adds 🙁. This is a very well designed word game I really enjoy. Unfortunately the constant adds are beyond what I’m prepared to put up with in a game. I did see on the comments that a $15 monthly fee will stop the adds this amount is most often way out of reach for many people. As an aside I will NEVER play any of the gossip or royal games their adds are infuriating!

TOO MANY ADS. Why O why do these games have to bombard us with so many long ADS, of the same games, over and over and over again? The game is not good enough to pay for, too buggy, slow and jerky! This game developer loves replaying long boring ADS, having to click on three or four buttons to ESCAPE back to the game and it’s the same for all their other games too, I’ve had enough, why bother!

Levels ???. I’m at level 125 and I’m waiting for it to get a bit harder. I haven’t seen the puzzle that is in the ad. I will be deleting the game 😢

Great but freezes all the time. Overall great but after a short period of game play the game constantly stutters and stalls and freezes until completely closed and re-opened. Runs smoothly for 10-15 mins and so it goes again. Frustrating.

Not happy. Please fix all the bugs, I don’t have owl 🦉 in library. Also I have missing icons on home page so I’m not getting all the experience of the game

Addictive fun. Loving this game. I am hooked on completing levels to gold standard and completing books. It’s been my favourite game for 4 months so far and no sign of waning.

Way too many ads. Great game but there is a three step ad after every level. I’m spending as much time clicking through ad windows as playing. It’s excessive and the monthly no ads subscription is much too high for a single game. It would be much more enjoyable with either less ads (every three levels?) or a subscription less than $10 a month.

One minute ads…please take them away!. Please rethink adding such long ads. So many ads throughout the game that after playing for an hour you are still putting in such long ads! Realistically to keep playing for as long as I do as I enjoy this game very much, if you keep up ads over 30 sec I will stop playing the game.

No continuation over devices. I like the game The extra games inside the levels for bonus points I was 100 levels up Had to get a new phone and I have to start all over again

Missing words. Good game - frustrating how many ads, side games that always pop up. What’s really annoying is key words don’t seem to be recognised.. either written in full or with using the ‘wild’ card

Love the challenge. I really enjoy playing Word Puzzle Solitaire as it is full of challenges. I wish there was more variety of letters in each game but I guess that is part of the challenge

Great game but expensive. I really love this game but I find that unless you pay $AU15 per month you will be bombarded with adds. This is made more frustrating because if you want to build up your coins etc. you end up watching a tonne of adds anyway. I don’t mind paying a monthly fee but $15 seems a lot. If the developer wants to keep it at that price, then at least offer bonus coins and wildcards as well. Also, please get rid of the ‘Qu’ tile and make it as two separate tiles. I would love to keep playing this game but I really am wondering if it is feasible for me to do so.

Astonishingly good fun. This is like playing scrabble solo. It’s quick and fun with enough challenges to keep me interested. The ads are there, of course, but they aren’t intrusive. I play a lot of word games but this is fast becoming a favourite.

Addictive game, but too many ads!. This is an addictive game that gets the brain working. I love the lost words library. But the only downside of the game is that there’s way too many ads. Please, if the developers can’t get rid of all of them, at least reduce the amount of ads. They are very annoying to players.

Beyond amazing. This game helps with spelling and also helps to retrain your brain after a stroke. I have had many a stroke and I’m now thinking faster and clearer. Thank you creating this game.

Word game enthusiast. I have been searching for a game like this for ages. This is by far the best word finding game ever. I have the app on my phone and IPad. 🙂

I play offline. I only connect to the interwebs when I’m updating the app. If you play offline there are no ads. I love this game!

Fantastic game. This game is always challenging and fun to play. Unfortunately the iPhone update to iPhone 8 causes the program to close. If there is a way to fix it, I would love it so I don’t lose all my points etc.

Ads galore. Great game yes, but way too many ads in it. It is such a turn off, While I like the game, I am sick and tired of having ads shoved in my face after every level. Great Game but Biased. I have played this game for a while. I can forgive most things but not loading the game so it’s almost impossible to win. When there’s no vowels unless you buy more cards and then only 1 in 5. Extremely noticeable at times. No it’s not ‘the luck of draw!’ It immediately changes if you relent and buy from shop.

Stopped working. I enjoyed this game for a few months then it refused to load. The icon just kept spinning but never opening. Bit of a bug. Trying again but if it doesn’t work, I’m gone.

Great US-centric Word Game. This is a great game with lots of challenges and “rewards”. The graphics are awesome and it’s inbuilt lexicon is much more comprehensive than most and it does allow UK spellings. But two things bother me: firstly many tree names, especially Australian species such as mallee, mulga and wilga are not accepted which is one thing, but also words in common use such as epoque are also not accepted which brings me to my second complaint. Sooooo many Qu’s, K, J and Zs! All at the end of the game and so few vowels! All designed to make you run through your “free” coins and hopefully spend actual money. But besides this you can play for free and while there are ads, they are not unreasonably frequent nor are there offensive ads. Get out your King James Bible, because every obscure and obsolete biblical word is accepted. Hallelujah!

Well 2 minute ads advertising on other games. I have only installed this game so that I can write a review. I will never actually install this game with the intention of playing it. because if it’s any indication as to how many times you bombard people with long ads this is a good example. I can just visualise playing this game and being constantly interrupted by ads. I have been playing other games and your ad comes up and it is so so frustrating. It just goes on and on and on. It is the only game that advertises for over two minutes. Utterly ridiculous. Games are supposed to be relaxing, not frustrating and they shouldn’t stress a person out. Okay, I’ve had my say. Now I will uninstall your game after I submit my review.

Great game. Great game. Steadily increases in difficulty. This is the sort of word game I’ve been looking for for a lo-ong time. Three second ads. Stay away so it doesn’t change.

Good game too many ads. Love the game but unless you want to pay you get an ad after each game, so that is an ad every 1 to 3 minutes. The worst thing is the ads that don’t close when you hit the x. Sometimes I have to close the game and start again to get out of the ad. It’s a pity because the game is excellent.

Ability to Make Longer Words Needed. I think this is a brilliant game and a wonderful brain teaser, however I found myself frustrated when I found a 10-letter word and wasn’t able to submit due to being restricted to only 9 tiles? If this could be rectified, it would be greatly appreciated. Splendid game otherwise!

Word puzzle solitaire. I love this game. I like word games. Just would like more points for each game played and where there is three things to find points should be given for each one instead of losing it all. Some of the words and titles of the books are a bit odd but overall I love trying to find the words to fill the book 😃

Rerun. I like it yet at times very frustrating especially when previous found words are not put into the unlocked books - would be so much better if this was a feature. Have found lots of words not categorised, until after a book is found. Put them in the books if found already! And let’s not discuss all the ads!!!

Stuck on Start Screen. This was my favourite game on my iPhone, but it hasn’t been working for the last several months. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but whenever I open the app it is frozen on the start screen and does not open the game.

Dev’s need a dictionary. I was enjoying the game, didn’t even mind the adds as they only were between games. But as I got to higher levels and was forced into very narrow word choices I realized that there are lots of basic words simply missing. I just lost a game at level 126 when I’m at 3rd place in my league because “June” doesn’t exist apparently. Bye!

But $12 a MONTH to remove ads is too much for me. I paid in Wordscapes to remove ads because it was a one-and-done. If it were the only game I played, sure that would be fine. But I play many and they all want me to pay monthly.

Decent game, crazy amount of ads. The game is decent, however the amount of ads is really crazy. Start a level, ad. Lose a level, ad. Beat a level, ad. Close screen in the middle of a game, come back, ad. Ads to get coins. Ads for literally every last step in every part of the game. Makes sense that this is how the game is paid for but this has gotta be the most I’ve had to deal with, with a free game, in a long while.

Freeze. I absolutely loved this game but ! It froze and was vey slow and yes caused me to lose the level I was playing and the words I found, the screen just kept going blank nothing happening. Then it really froze it froze my IPad totally my husband had to a find a way to get it back thank goodness he got it to reset. I turned this problem into the chat support but it still continued to do it. Today I had to take off just because of the freezing issue 🫤

amazing game. i LOVE this game so much, the ads are unobtrusive and the game doesnt feel like it’s purposely trying to make you lose. i also like the little dictionary feature where you can see the definition of all the words you played during the game. mildly educational and also fun!!

Constant Ads!. There’s an ad as soon as you open the app. There’s an ad after every single hand. You cannot even collect what you’ve won until you watch an ad. The only way to omit ads is to pay $10 a month. If it was a one time payment I would do it because the game itself is fun. The annoying banner at the top is plenty of ads. Pretty good game. I have been playing this game for several weeks so I really can’t make a truly “informed” opinion, but so far, I am enjoying playing it very much. Yes, there are ads but they are short and don’t take up so much of your time that you just want to delete it because you don’t have time for ad after ad. If anything changes I will come back and do an update.

Love the game….except.. I really enjoy this game. Hover I am at a level where I can barely switch screens without having to watch and most of the time it’s the same stupid ad. I can understand watching an ad if you want to receive something for free. However I am now being forced to watch an ad when I switch from the books page to the puzzle page. Fun but ADS. In classic micro transaction tradition, the further you go, the more ads you get. After a few dozen levels you’ll get a full length ad every time you finish. You can force a “skip” by closing the app and reopening every time, cutting your wait to ten seconds, but who wants to play like this? Uninstalled around level 80 when they started doing countdown timers on gameplay, which is really just a marketing trick to maximize ads per hour. No longer relaxing, just aggravating.

Love. I absolutely love this game. When I first started playing it, I could go a few levels until there was an ad. Now, there is an ad after every level. The price for ad free should be way less. Most games don’t charge more than $4.99/month. Other than that, I still play, but a lot less because of the excessive ads.

Challenging!. I love this word game! It helps keep my mind sharp by helping me figure out different words with a limited number of letters. I’d give this game five stars if it didn't have so many commercials! After every game, there’s a commercial. It's ridiculous!! If I can find a game that’s similar to this one without the ads, I will probably delete this one and go to the other one.

Wordscapes Solitaire. Wordscapes Solitaire is a break from the usual word games out there. The graphics are nice and the sound is good. My only suggestion would be to lower the price of No Ads, ten bucks is a little heavy for a word game. Maybe have a sale of 50 percent off or something, I don’t know, just a thought. Ads. If I am paying $10 a month for No ADS, then please remove all ads. That includes the top banner ads as well. I’m not going to pay all this money and still see ads. That is just not fair. Also, some weird security scanning ads pop up even when you pay for no ads, so please check the game . It has security issues. The game itself is great. My thoughts on this game. I absolutely love words and the way you can make so many different ones with the letters given. And if you pay close attention you can play a higher scoring word than you had originally thought possible. I love this! Keep up the good work!

Ads cause music to stop. I love the music in this game but I'd day every like 2 or 3 games, after I dismiss the ad the music stops playing in the game. It's cool music, it kinda sound like the X Files theme tune. I wish the ads didn't cause the music to stop because I have to force close the app and reopen it if I want the music back. I haven't figured out another way to get the music back on other than doing that.

An ad too many. You had me until today. I even sat through an ad after each level but when you start throwing in an ad while playing a game that is timed I am done. You are a bunch of greedy developers. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because the game is fun otherwise I would give it a one star. By the way the ad for the car that interrupted my game made me so mad I would go out of my way to not purchase one.

This game steals your "life hearts" without explaination. I've played over 100 levels of this interesting word game. It was enjoyable until I began noticing that without actually quitting any level early, suddenly I had no "life hearts" left to continue the game without either waiting for them to regenerate or to purchase them. After this occurred for the 7th time, I went the internet for an explaination (including the publisher's website) and found nothing. So when I was playing again and all my life hearts inexplicably disappeared for the 8th time, it was time to delete and write a review. A pity really, it was almost a decent word game...

What a great game! Very relaxing, too!. It’s rare that I write reviews, but… I seriously love this game! It’s very fun, challenging, and addictive. In the short span of a few days I’ve been playing it, haha. I do really enjoy the mashup of word games and solitaire! I also enjoy how this game provides one with endless fun. Plus, the visual elements within the game are fantastic, I may add! Overall, I love it!

Yikes on the ad-removal update. So a lot of people were asking for a way to make a no ads purchase for this game. Well they delivered… in the worst way possible. Not only is the price terrible ($10 USD) which is already asking too much for what is essentially a quality of life feature, but the purchase only lasts for 1 MONTH and then you have to make it again. I’m sure the devs could use the money but good lord that’s some EA/Ubisoft levels of greed there. Dropping my rating 2 stars due to this.

Great game. I am enjoying this game. One of the main things I would change is all of the female focused ads make me feel bad about myself. Weight, exercise, makeup. Completely female focused which is fine but can we mis it up a lil. One more thing I would prefer a larger list of lost words while in game play mode. I do really enjoy this game and recommend to all.

Needs a ONE TIME purchase option. I love the game. Very addictive. Beware: No ads in the beginning until you are hooked. Eventually you are barraged with ads after every level. Very tedious. Great so far - **updated. No annoying pop up ads after every level. And challenging enough to really make you think. Just got through the first chest so let’s see how it goes. Update- as soon as I did the review, after every level, there is an ad. I guess I should have read the reviews. But to buy to remove ads is only for 30 days, when most games for that price removes it, period.

It keeps the brain sharp!. I’ve been playing this game for a couple weeks now, and I really like it! It really keeps my brain sharp. I would’ve given it five stars, except I HAVE found several bugs: (1) with one word, “FRIDAY”, not being able to submit. (2) it assumes what the “WILD” letter is in the word. Word-forming is fine. I like it so far but could do without all the extras, like earning coins, collecting “ books” and finding lost words and putting them in a book in the “ library.”!id prefer to just use the letters to try to make words, without all the childish stuff. Maybe I’m just too old for this game. So far, it’s pretty easy.

NO ADS - NOT JUST FOR 30 DAYS. I love this game! And like someone else said it would get five stars if there were no ads after every single game. But it’s not worth $10 plus A MONTH just to have no ads. I think you guys should make that $10 for no ads permanently, just my two cents thanks AND… I am not sure other people are willing to pay $10 a month for it but I’m hoping that they read that before they do pay $10 and realize it’s only for 30 days.

Too many ads even has spam. Game started out fun in the lower levels. Didn’t mind the occasional ads but when you get to the higher levels there’s ads in between every level. You spend more time navigating through the ads than playing the game. The worst part is at random when you’re in the middle of a game, a spam pops up. Taking you to a browser window for some memory cleanup for your phone or security issues. Will be deleting this app, it’s sad because I’ve really enjoyed playing the game

Inappropriate ads. I love this game but I have to delete the app because the types of ads that they play between the around are completely inappropriate on a game that may be played by or seen by young people. Ads about sex, the taste of vaginas, and ads to use drugs. Unfortunately, I have to delete because so many of the ads are so x-rated I can’t risk my kids watching them. Too bad the ads on an educational game are not family friendly.

Glitches and no support. About to delete this one. Could have been a great game and I started out totally addicted. Until I had two complete glitches where things disappeared. That was annoying enough, but then the so-called “support” takes 2-3 days to respond and NEVER does anything other than a canned response to (1) tell me to wait and then (2) ask whether they answered my questions-which they never addressed. Too bad. Done with this one.

Fun for Word lovers. Really good word game that is challenging for all levels. There is an ad after each game but it is far less than most games which interrupt you every minute. I too keep a running list of hidden words to find, very nerdy, but helps build up your playing coins. Fun and challenging without having to buy more playing time. EDITED: After playing this game for months, now in the midst of a game, your browser opens and starts scanning your iPad.A scam for virus software. Totally unacceptable. Now I will delete the app and never go back. Lost my money for being stupid.

Greedy Dev Company. As much as I actually like the game, as someone who routinely purchases no ads options, you folks are committing highway robbery comparatively speaking. Never have I encountered a game where I have to pay monthly to keep it ad free. Apple Arcade is less expensive and provides hundreds of games to choose from. On top of that, though rare, I have had pop up ads still occur a total of at least 4 times since purchase. For the price I’m paying, that shouldn’t be happening at all, and quite frankly, banner ads should be removed as well.

Game frozen. Got to level 531 and it locks up. I can spin the spinner, check books, soon as I go to play it returns to the main menu and locks up. Being dumb, I deleted the app and re-installed and obviously started all over. I know got to level 531 again and same issue. No updates in store

Fun, but an ad gauntlet. I wish I could continue playing, but weaving my way through the ads after completing a level is maddening. Clicking on the x to close an ad just pops up another screen and after two or three it might finally close. It's not worth $9.99/mo to get it ad free. If the greed were dialed down you might get my ongoing support. When actually making words, it's quite fun.

Really fun game until you’re forced to pay to play. This game is really fun until you’re about 50 levels in and then they force you to watch long videos after every single level or play. I think it’s a shame that businesses and developers write games like this wasting our time unless we want to pay $9.99 per month, which is a ridiculous amount for a game. Basically this shameful technique is to get you addicted and then coerce you to pay unless you want to spend more time watching ads than actually playing.

Only pop up (or “forced”) ads removed, NOT banner ads! —Major battery drain (I have to play only when power cord is connected) —Recent update created more game crashes —Game place is not saved, whether you close it or it crashes. Not only do you have to start that individual game over, you’ll also lose any lost words found and any points made.

Ads option. I love your game and I could play for hours except there are way too many ads. I understand you need the ads to make money, however to have an ad pop-up after every single hand is extremely annoying. That’s the only reason I don’t play longer because I could get lost in this game for hours. Maybe an option to purchase no ads would be good. And maybe only ads after certain milestones. I would give it five stars if there weren’t so many ads.

Enjoy this game. I enjoy this game a lot! My biggest pet peeve is that the game doesn’t pick up where I left off. If my phone goes to sleep or I’m away from the game too long when it’s open, it will make me start the level completely over. So I’ve lost any helps that I used or any money that I’ve spent to get so far on the game. It makes me start from the beginning making me use more helps and money. Please fix that.

Fun game bad marketing strategy. This is an awesome game. That being said, it’s too bad they extort you with ads. I don’t pay to remove ads; I delete the apps that extort money from you to remove ads. I spend my hard earned money on fun games that I want to keep playing. There are too many fun games out there that actually let you enjoy the game and spend money IN the game. I wish the creators would come up with exciting game play that players would WANT to spend money on. Annoying people with ads until they give up their money is wrong. You have an amazing game here but my money isn’t going to it.

Fun, needs glitch update. This is a really fun game! It will keep you occupied for hours. The only problem is there seems to be a glitch when ads come on and you return to the game you lose sound. So if you want to have the sound you have to close the app and then reopen it. Hopefully they will fix this because it is an incredible game.

Fun game. Lots of ads.. I like this game a lot. Creating words and seeing how many letters I can use to make the longest word possible is great. I love chasing the “lost” words also. Biggest downer is there is an ad after every turn. I don’t mind some ads. But after every single turn is annoying. Since there is no ad removable option I am not sure how long I will stay interested in playing if all I am doing is watching ad after ad.

Fun but. I do enjoy this game. It would be nice if they would not play same ads over and over and allow for more gameplay between ads instead of an ad between every single game. Also, when tournaments are going if you play a level it’ll start you into them automatically which it should be player choice to do individual games or tournaments.

Frustrated. All too many times on my iPhone and iPad does this game gors black. If I turn off my iPhone or iPad to reset, it has no effect on the game and it’s still black. I enjoy this game a lot, but this black screen is very frustrating. And I never know when I’m going to be able to play the game again. What’s with these new ads that are so big they are in the playing field!!! Please get rid of them!!!

Challenging and Fun, But Recently…. Two things… 1 - I notice no replies from developers.. 2 - something has to be done about the ad that blacks out the screen for 10 seconds. It occurred today during a timed event! It is frustrating and unfair to the player. I’m on the verge of deleting…. Great Word Puzzle game. Challenging, but fun to play. Recently, however, during the middle of playing a level, there is one top banner ad that apparently fails to load and the entire screen goes black for 10 seconds or so. This has been happening for several days; and it can occur more than once while playing a level. Is this a glitch in your ad sponsor programming; or is it designed to break concentration?Because that is what it does. It is distracting and aggravating. Please fix! Thank you.

Two major flaws. First, if I’m listening to a song or podcast it will turn off repeatedly while playing the game. Second, the clock should be added to the top left corner like it is in other games. It’s easy to get lost in the game and then suddenly realize you’re late for a commitment, which makes me not want to play it. UPDATE: Please post the solutions here so others can see how to prevent podcasts or music from turning off and how to see the clock while playing the game. Thanks

Beware before you start playing. Is this game enjoyable? Absolutely. When you first begin there’s short ads every few games. Totally annoying but manageable. However, as you get further the ads come after Every. Single. Level. I’m of the mind if I’m going to play often I’ll purchase. Price is $9.99. A bit steep but I was prepared since I find myself playing often. However, the amount gives you ONLY 30 days ad free. Umm what ?? Do better.

Wordscapes Solitaire. This game is a lot of fun. I love the graphics and the owl is a very cute touch. It is challenging and there are barely any ads. I hope the developers will keep continuing with barely any ads. I get so tired of playing games where every few minutes there is an ad especially when you get done with a level.

Ads, Ads, Ads…..too much. I really enjoy the game. I would pay a dollar, three dollars, whatever to remove the ads. I frequently get ads that I cannot X off. I need to close the game completely and log back in to get past the ad screen. Many layered ads, After Xing out of 2 previous ads, 1 on the bottom plays for 60 seconds and does not give me an option to X out. You gotta do better. You made a great game but the ads completely interfere with game play.

I love words. I love this game. In fact, I am on Level 1400. I play a few hours a day. I have notice sometimes after just a few minutes the sounds stops. Can you please fix it ? If I close the app, sometimes it comes back and other times it doesn’t. It is glitch in the system. Oh thanks for including the “Qu”.

Exactly what the ad shows. This game is exactly what it shows in the ads. The ads are mostly banner ads and not intrusive. The first few levels are painfully simple, but about level 11 it starts giving you options instead of directing you to the solution. So far, it’s fun.
