Can’t use without internet connection.. If you want to use this app in a rural area with out internet available, forget it, it doesn’t work! If connected to the internet, it randomly slows and or caches something while it searches for the next ad or polls your phones for who knows what. Developer says you don’t need an internet connection but that’s not true. Without an internet connection a person can play until the message you need 250 more coins to continue. If you close the game on the phone you can play another set until the same message shows up and then there is no playing until an internet connection is available. play is available for approximately an hour or almost 10,000 points. If you’re in a remote area it gets frustrating.

Really LIKED playing this game until. I have had this game for a while now. I really enjoyed playing it. I didn’t mind watching a few ads so that the developers get paid. Run updates without my permission, thereby eliminating whether I opted in changes. And until the ads have been allowed to access my browser, override my security measures, and serve up phishing ads and fake websites from cloudfront from aws. That was my last straw. I have since deleted the game and removed all the files.

“Remove ads for 30 days”. I almost clicked to remove ads for $3.99, but caught the “remove ads FOR 30 DAYS” before I paid. No, thanks, I don’t need a game that costs more annually than most utility apps out there. Without this option, the ads are relentless. Another scummy mobile setup. UPDATE: The developer response is correct FOR A DIFFERENT GAME, you can in fact pay to remove ads permanently in Wordscapes. I purchased it myself, which is why I tried it again! Unfortunately, this is a review for BLOCKSCAPES, which is a different game with infinitely worse monetization. I even reinstalled it to make sure I hadn’t missed the option — it isn’t there. This company knows how to make and support a reasonably priced game, but this remains a shoddy and grasping experiment in the kind of trash pricing that ruined mobile games.

Update Problem. Since the last update for this app, I have been unable to access it. At first the app crashed about every 15 seconds. Then is started crashing more frequently. I reached out to support, and I could not write a full sentence before crashing. It took 7 tries to enter one sentence. Now the app opens and crashes before a screen ever opens. I rate a 2 because someone from support tried to help, but since communication is no longer possible, I am blocked from Blockscapes which was one of my favorite apps. I use an iPad Air to access, and I have done all updates for it. I hope your team can correct this issue.

Loved the game until it started lagging. This has become the only game I play on my phone lately but the last two updates have made it run so slow and log so bad on my phone that it is always closing itself out or freezing while setting blocks down. I thought it was a storage issue so I deleted a bunch of apps and videos to free up over 20GB on my phone but it is still doing it. If it gets fixed this game gets 5 stars from me & is even worth paying to get rid of the ads after every round.

Frustrating for the Wrong Reasons. I really like this game and the gameplay itself is fun, challenging and addicting but the Ads get repetitive and annoying. Please add an option to pay to remove them. I’d pay to not have to deal with ads every single time I have to go through a level. Some of them refuse to go away, some crash my game and some are just so irritating that I end up putting the game down all together because I get tired of having to deal with them. At this rate I’ll end up getting too frustrated with the Ads alone and end up deleting the game

Very fun and calming to play but very slow. This game is very fun and addicting but most of the time your waiting for it to load and everyone knows it is not fun to wait. So save your time and energy I do not recommend this game if you don't want a game that will make you fall asleep. So please if you want to make the right choice then stick with a different game that is fun. I'm telling you this game is not that. Thank you for reading this response and thinking of your choice you have to make if you are going to get this app or not.

Blocks of Ages. We love Blockscapes as much as Wordscapes! It is addicting in a different way. Keep the mind busy and seems to activate a different part if the brain and way of thinking! Always looking for a strategy to score more points abs make the game last longer. The nature scenes on every game board is relaxing and beautiful. It’s what keeps me coming back, that and the fun! Besides an active brain is an important part of good health! Thanks!

Block scraps. This game really keeps me from being bored and it keeps my brain busy and moving. I would recommend this game to all kids and adults it’s also satisfying to see the blocks disappear and reappear. They also have different backgrounds and colors of blocks and themes of the game. It can help me stay challenged and forget about the stress. That’s why you should really think of getting this game!

Would be fun but…. The game would be a whole lot more fun if I could get rid of the banner ads. They change constantly and hijack my processor while I am trying to play and make the game hang, very often right as I am trying to place blocks. The blocks then don’t place where I intended them to go. The only way I can make this game playable is to turn of my WiFi, and that’s aggravating in itself. I understand advertising is necessary, but it should not be done at the expense of the gameplay. I really don’t know how people are managing to be able to play it and award 5 stars to it. My experience has just been frustrating.

Great game! Wouldn’t change a thing!. It’s exactly like the add. I love how it pushes me to keep going and do better. It’s hard to find games like this, where it’s just like what you thought(sometimes even better) and is still awesome. When I saw the add, I was like, “No way this is actually the game,” because that’s a lot of adds nowadays. But no, this is the real game. I am proud of the game makers. They’ve done a good job. Get this app. I recommend it. It’s a real good game. :) :D ;P uwu

Fun Game until the Lag. After playing awhile, I learned how to better leave the space open for bigger pieces. My last game started to feel like it could go forever as long as I didn’t make a mistake. Problem was, by the time I had over 10k points, the game kept freezing during nearly every move. I’m on an iPhone 7 Plus which appears to still have plenty of memory so I don’t know if the game is using a high level of resources or would be better suited to a newer phone.

What are the coins for?. Blockscapes is a wood tile app . I really love this game it is really fun! But my biggest question is what are the coins for? Like what do you use them for. Because the reason you want to win this turnement that is going on you will get a lot of coins. Also When will the water stone flower tiles come? Because that’s one of the reasons I got the game. Well over all really great game, calming and fun you should get the game. But can someone please tell me what the coins are for ? Thxs -what are the coins for

WHY NOTHING???. It’s beyond me why Developers chose to offer ZERO game rules or standards of Play instructions for those who are new to this type of puzzle‼️ How about Scoring? How does that work? Tips & Hints? Are there any? Are the puzzles timed? Are the cubes random? I’ve provided a few random examples of what should be offered in the way of introduction to this otherwise entertaining puzzle game but can’t say I’ll stick with it without the answers I seek. And please don’t tell me to ask for “support” we’re capable of doing the puzzles but want to BEGIN them knowing the full rules,& scoring outlined above‼️ Thank you for the opportunity to vent my frustration & expectations! Hopefully you’ll ACT & make this a perfect puzzle experience for all!

Relaxing and fun!. This is now my “go to” app while what hing TV or just sitting around. For some odd reason it gives you great satisfaction every time you setup a great move just when you thought you had none left. Trying to out beat your last score is challenging, but fun when you do! I love the monthly high scores feature as well. If I had one request, it would be to have an undo button.

One of the better basic games. This game keeps you intrigued enough to keep you busy, and help you relax. I hope they will add more game modes. I think a mode too compete head to head would be great. I also think there’s a few more modes would be good. There is ads but they aren’t ridiculous like many apps like this one. It’s easy/basic enough any age can get into it, but it’s challenging enough to keep you wanting to beat your last score. I appreciate the creators not putting 300 ads in the game, really you only have to watch one after you lose which is amazing compared to most. If you like Tetris, this is kind of a slower paced, puzzle version. The only reason for 4 stars is I’m hoping they add more modes.

Not as Fun as it Was. My brain totally loves this game. When I first downloaded it a few months back, I was able to beat my original high score (2400) by a few points every 5th game or so. Now I am lucky to hit 1000 every 10th game or so. From what I understand the shapes are chosen at random and if I were the developers I would take a look at the randomness algorithm. I'm a fairy intelligent person who is usually good at games like this. What makes me keep playing is that I want to beat my high score, because who doesn't love improving? I've tried really analyzing every move and trying to strategically place shapes that leave room for the large pieces. Nothing I do matters when the game gives me back to back nine by nine squares and a huge L piece 10 moves in. I'm not saying I will abandon the game totally but I do get frustrated and often left scratching my head about the world leader right now who has a high score of over 100,000.

Some confusion about appearances of the blocks. I love this game!!! I love the relaxing music and the calming scenery. However, one of the selling points that made me decide to purchase this app was the advertisement showing that the blocks could look like water. I have played this game for a long time, and I haven’t been able to figure out how to change the look of them. It’s still a fun game, but I would like to know if there is a way to so that. Thanks.

Blockscapes Review. Blockscapes is a cleverly made game. The gameplay is very interesting, with these shaped block pieces you need to try to fit in the square space. It’s really fun to see how much you can fit before you either clear a full row, or don’t have anymore space. I also appreciate the fact that their aren’t any in-app purchases (besides the ad block but that makes sense). It’s such a breath of fresh air not to see a bunch of in-game products you need to buy which can, sometimes, also be expensive, or those piggy bank things in which you need to PAY for money in game. Overall, I give this game 5-stars, since it’s a good way to pass the time if you don’t have anything better to do.

Too many ads and not enough rewards. This is a good game but the monthly award is equal to the value I would earn watching an ad. Additionally you have to pay every time you want to rotate a cube and the cost is high…watch 2 ads or pay. Even if you choose not to watch ads to buy boost you still have to watch an ad when you complete a game. Finally the x button on the ad does not work well. You can tap the button and it keeps opening the App Store page for the ads or the x button is just not available and you lose the reward you earned for watching the ad. As I say this is a good puzzle game. However the amount of ads have made it unenjoyable and unplayable. I am uninstalling this app.

Could be better. I really think they could make this game better. I don’t mind ads at all but I hate that I can’t spin the pieces as needed like in Tetris. I could seriously play this game for hours and hours if I could spin pieces as I need. Also, always give pieces that have a potential solution and let us figure it out. But if we know those three pieces have some kind of solution for sure, I’d sit forever trying to figure it out. Either that or give as the next piece as we use a piece so we can plan ahead. But pick one of those options. There’s def ways to make the game better and more fun to use long term.

Experience. I keep seeing ads for this game quite a lot until I finally decided to give a shot and I’ve only been playing for couple of days now. I find this game relaxing and easy on your mind, I do this on my break at work or when I am laying in bed winding down before sleeping. Love this game 100% as there many different themes for game background and for blocks as you unlock them.

Scam - Blocks given are intentially wrong for puzzle. The game starts fun. Then after awhile you'll start to notice the shapes they give you are intentially wong/backward for the current state of the puzzle. You have to use coins/tokens to flip them to make them fit. You run out of these tokens quickly and you have to purchase more. Without having tokens to flip the parts the game eventually becomes annoyingly unbeatable and there's no way to be successful at it. It would be so much better/more fun if the blocks were truly given at random but it's very obvious they are dispensed in an orientation that forces you to make in-app purchases to be successful. I had fun and found it relaxing for awhile but now I truly do not recommend.

Meh. It’s good for mindless fun. A little annoying that they charge for only a 30-day reprieve from ads. If you’ve paid that should be that. It’s also annoying that you can do things like flip the blocks, but you can’t pick which way. I was going to flip them three times to rotate the ones I had so that I could play it the way I wanted to, in order to clear a row. But after the first flip, the blocks didn’t fit anywhere on the board and the round was over. That was super annoying. Waste of coins and just made me not want to play anymore.

Wonderful until last graphics update. I’m a hug fan if this app. The gameplay is great and I’ve even gotten past the pile of ads because the whole point of the game for me is to not be in a rush so I’ll deal with the interruptions. However this latest update has ruined the visual appeal of the app for me. I love all the beautiful backgrounds and up until this last update the playing space was dark or blended in nicely with the background colors. Now the game board and upcoming tiles box, which collectively take up a majority of the screen, are almost solid white. I’m sure that helps render your much more realistic tiles easier, but for someone that has fully embraced dark mode on every app they have, it is an assault on the eyes and it almost negates the calm I experienced when playing before. Please do something to darken the game board like before or offer a dark mode. I’ll go back to 5 stars if that update comes. Thanks

Great game- Ads are OBNOXIOUS- App is glitchy at. I actually really enjoy playing this game but I am deleting it off of my phone and will look for an app that is similar. The reason I am deleting the app is because of the amount of ads one is forced to watch to watch if you don’t pay to remove the ads. I totally get the reason the developers put the ads in their games but this game and so many others out there now literally have you watching an ad after every game you play. It’s obnoxious!!! Like I said I’m okay with ads to have a free version of the games available but when you are spending just as much time watching ads sometimes longer than you actually play the game, I would rather just not play the game anymore! On top of the ads the app is glitchy and seems to freeze a lot and I have an iPhone 13 running the latest iOS update, so it’s not a phone issue! I know I can pay to remove ads for a certain amount of days, but i just don’t have disposable income like that to waste with the shape the economy is in my money is needed in way more important places! I have to worry about everything that is important before I spend money inside of these apps and there just isn’t a whole lot of it left over for spending money inside of these apps!

Great game, AWFUL ads. Game play is fun. I understand ads are necessary, however, very often the ads do not shut down even when they are over, trapping me IN an ad and OUT of the game. I have to exit out of the app altogether and try to reopen it. Even though I enjoy the game, this process makes me want to not reopen the app. When that doesn’t happen, still the ads frustratingly send me to the App Store even when I am clicking the “X”. Again, the actual game is fun, but the ads make me consider deleting.

So, let’s talk!. I really enjoy this app, now you might think I’m so old for this but at night for the past few weeks I’ve really just like to get in bed and play this game. And sometimes I get really REALLY mad at games, but this one I just don’t - this app is weirdly calming! No rage at all, one little thing is that they have had so so many fix form bugs, I’ve never had a problem so ig that’s fine, but other than that I totally recommend! 💯

Fun, but…. This game is really fun, and the ads are not too bad, especially with a free game. However, it is near impossible to get coins. The only way I have found is to click on the store then exit. That gives you the option to watch a video for 25 points. However, this does not work often. Also, The magnet power up, one of two options, is very expensive. I have not had enough money to get it since I got the app about a month ago.

Starting today, end of Feb 2023 ad popping up just by moving blocks. Some ad Glasslan or something started today. It’s activated somehow just by me sliding the blocks into place. It actually pops me out of the game and into a web browser where it opens the ad. So my tiles get dropped wherever it was when the ad felt like activating (which is a longer hold or slide distance it seems), which usually isn’t where I was aiming for plus it happens often. The regular between each screen is done ads are also still there. This upset me so much, I came here. Beware. (I did not update the game previous to this, so it wasn’t that.)

Very addicting!. I enjoy the fact that there is a monthly contest! Me and my husband play against each other all the time. It is great because even if you have a busy schedule you have the entire month to compete. It is very challenging for me and hard to get over 6,000. I do wish they had more than 3 options to use at a time. I also wish they would allow different types of game play to choose from. For example: this game is like Tetris in a nutshell except you can’t change the shapes or the direction it goes down. It would be nice to have the Tetris version, different color blocks to choose from, and options to win special “advance further” type movements or the options to discard current 3 block options for 3 new block options if you get stuck. I get it that it’s the whole point of the game which is why I suggested the option to win moves like that or get so many at the start of the month and when your out. You don’t get anymore until the following month.

Frustrating and Stressful!. This game is excellent when you are new to it, but becomes highly frustrating after that! I played it on and off for years, and my highest score is 5,300. Looking at the top score, currently it’s 851,000. How is that even possible?? At one point there were scores in the millions which I believe were fake! I searched the web for hints or videos showing how to get high scores but there is nothing, so it seems it’s all fictional. The newer features like the magnet icon take very long time to activate as the designers are very stingy with coins, and it’s so easy to hit the icons accidentally while playing which burns your coins at the wrong time! They should build some undo function or move these buttons to the top so you don’t accidentally activate them! Also, the ads are too long and appear every time you lose, which could be seconds some rounds! The ads tend to repeat which is also annoying. They should give you coins for watching these ads to make this bearable! In short, this could be a great game but it’s too frustrating and very difficult.

Fun but irritating. Most of the reviews are irritated at the ads. I’m not one of them I am irritated by the block selections. I can have the board filled just enough to need a couple of small blocks to be able to wipe out most of my board and the next three block patterns are the biggest on the board. Or I keep getting hit with the 3x3 blocks over and over again making it impossible to actually get any kind of score. December I was able to get 1500 and now I can’t seem to get past 400 because I’m constantly getting huge pieces and it fills the board to fast.

Blockscapes is fun and challenging. My title says it all! When you just to unwind from a stressful day Blockscapes is wonderful. It makes you think of what is before you on the screen and NOT whatever has been bothering you. It also helps to keep your mind sharp! You really have to plan the placement of each block. Sometimes there is only one place to put the block, but that is rare. You seriously have to plan 2 placements ahead. So it really does require concentration especially in the higher levels as you advance. It’s a wonderful way to block everything out of existence and before you know, you will become so engrossed in the game you will forget what has been bothering you!!

Sick of dishonest apps. I would really like this app if it came with instructions. I mean it’s obvious what u need to do but sometimes I only get a few moves other times I keep going. I see that if I keep clearing rows with every move I get more moves. But sometimes I clearing rows and Only get a few moves. So instructions on why only a few moves. Can’t find anything on internet to explain. Next way too many ads I may not last much longer without instructions and a ton of ads so what I’ve found after playing enough when they give u the blocks they already know u can’t win with the blocks they give u. So sometimes u pay 6-7 moves they end it u have to watch the never ending ads I guess they figure players to stupid to realize. I have a college degree and that’s not the Case here. My s ores usually around 200 I look on leaderboard there’s people in the 3,000. NO WAY those are people who work for the app and a given a winning screen

No Ad purchase option PLEASE. Ads really mess with me when I’m playing to relax - especially at bed time. This is sort of my aid to fall asleep. I would totally pay for a paid version with no ads. Like I get you make money off the adds but a 1x $20 fee or $2.99 monthly fee would be a great option for those of us who would happily pay for no ads. Some of your other games have no ads options and I pay for all of them lol. Give a loyal customer a chance to give you money and lose the ads! Otherwise love love love all your games!!!

Fun. Fun I love this game I play it when I have time to kill i also recommend there other game called Wordscapes which is also good and both make the time go by so fast when I’m sick at home from school or home alone and bored with my pc or Xbox playing the same games like Minecraft world box or gmod when those get boring I play Blockscapes or Wordscapes and let me tell ya it makes the hours go by fast and you know what they say time flies when you’re having fun I highly recommend this game.

One of the Best. I don’t usually rate games but this game deserves to be recognised. It’s like the perfect game. First of all: ADS. There are, of course, ads. But there’s not too many that it puts you off the game. I’ve been playing for ten minutes now and there’s only been one ad! Also the background music is super calming and the game has really good quality. The good thing about this game is that it’s for anybody. Kids, teenagers, adults, elderlies and can all play this! This game is absolutely amazing and deserve five stars. Believe me when I say I am doing you a huge favour by telling you to download this app and play this game.

Good except for one annoying aspect.... It’s a good block game overall, but I know for a fact that the pieces aren’t random. I’ve played it long enough to notice the pattern of never, ever getting a specific “L” or “zigzag”shaped piece when I need it. If the pieces were random then I think at least every once in a while I’d luck into getting the exact piece I need, but it never happens. It makes the game more challenging, but it still makes me think “the odds always favor the house.”

This game will get you stuck... And when I say stuck I mean stuck on your phone because it’s so addicting and hard to put down. Trying to get a higher score than you previously got is rewarding unlike other games where just winning is worth it but this one makes me want to do better than before. I wish though it had an Undo button that can only be used once per game. That is all. Thanks!

Not as advertised!. This game was advertised on social media (Facebook) and showed a game that can be described as Tetris mixed with the standard block sliding puzzle game. Sliding blocks on screen to make rows for points after each move all the blocks shift down revealing more blocks added to the puzzle. That’s the game I wanted to play. Not some other clone of this typical game. That’s false advertising and everyone involved should be ashamed and fix the issue. “Oh… well our game is just a clone nobody would care to see again so we’ll advertise it as something different with the skin of our clone on it. That’ll get em”

Please read this. I love this game! Everytime I get on it I will be done playing from the past 5 hours! This is so fun and there's no inappropriate adds. A little adds but I still love it! Addicting!. Outside of the annoying advertisements. This game is addicting! Of course they go away after about 30 seconds to a minute. But they game is so fun you don’t really even mind them so much. When I opened up the app for the first time to check it out. I couldn’t put it down. Like 2 hours past by in just a few minutes. Lol! Fun Game, Poor Quality. I love to play this game! So much fun and love the skins you win as you level-up. There have not been any ‘updates’ lately for this game… I’m wondering if that is causing the poor quality in glitches that I have seen in the last month. The blocks do not adjust into the grid correctly or land on the grid where I did not intend for them to be placed. Sometimes it takes five minutes for the game to load and once I’m playing the game, it takes a good 10 seconds before the blocks will transition to the grid. I’m also noticing that my phone begins to overheat (within the first 30 seconds of having this app game open) while I play the game, and I have no other apps open. I do not have this issue (of the phone overheating) anything else that I do on my phone. I really hope the creators of Blockscapes will correct these issues soon!!! I really enjoy playing this game!

Nice puzzle game....... It’s a relaxing way to exercise your mind. The visuals and music go well together. The ads at the bottom don’t bother me. Most of the other ads you can skip through quickly. I don’t use the “cheats” at all. The magnet, or fill bucket or rotate options. I do not know why coins are collected, or why you would buy them. They cannot be spent on anything at all. My iPad is not updated to the most current version, perhaps that is the reason. All-in-all it is one of the few games I have on my iPad that I play regularly. I enjoy the challenge. Most games I try have annoying ad patterns and get deleted within a short period.

I like it but. I enjoy this game quite a bit. I play it often and recommend to most people looking to just pass some time. But recently I’ve been having one big issue. You can use power ups that rotate your playable blocks and one that uses a magnet to pull played blocks down and make room. You’ll need coins to use these though. The option to use them is at the bottom of the screen and too often I’ve accidentally used the magnet power up which costs 300 coin which is actually quite a lot especially compared to the 50 coin price of the other power up. If I’m trying to swipe out of the app or I just brush my finger across the button it’ll spend the coins. If those buttons could be moved from the bottom of the screen and put somewhere else that would make this game a five star. But since I’ve lost easily 1000 coin from accidentally using a power up when I didn’t even need it I have become bitter. Please change this because I love playing Blockscapes

Eh…. The ads don’t really bother me so much. I just wait for them to end and exit out of them. Sometimes I’m even interested in some of the other games advertised. Thankfully, I haven’t come across any inappropriate/unpleasant ads like I’ve seen in some of the other reviews, and I’m new to the game so unfortunately, I can’t relate as far as knowing why the update was so terrible either. What I do hate, and I’ve only seen two other reviews mention it so far, is being forced to use pieces that kinda screw your whole game over. I’ll have a nice round one minute and rack up some decent points, the next round though, I’m losing almost immediately because of the pieces I’m forced to work with. Gives me that ‘project makeover’ vibe where you’re forced to lose so you have to spend money. Doesn’t really make sense here considering the only real in-app purchase I’ve seen, is to remove the ads. I can accept losing a round, or not making a lot of points because of an error on my part, but when I line the pieces up to where I could knock out several blocks at once just to be given a bizarre or inconvenient block that I can’t even at least orientate to help me out more, it’s kind of annoying. Would really prefer to give 2 1/2 stars instead of 3 just for that alone. If I experienced what others have expressed displeasure with though, I’d definitely be rating much lower.

No more ads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please!!. Fun game, but the incessant ads are terribly irritating. Sometimes the game forces the player to lose after a few plays and then there is a 30+second long ad! There are 30+ second ads after EVERY single round that cannot be bypassed. Please make an option to pay to remove ads! Thank you! Also please add a score leaderboard, offer daily challenges, or some incentives for playing. I have only had the game a few days or so and while I love to play, I feel I have gone through some repeating game combinations.

Problem with ads. The game itself is fun, and I would give it 5 stars if I were only rating the game itself. The ads have become a problem. I understand there has to be ads in order for the game to be free, but they have become impossible to click out of. Even if I wait a few seconds (longer than other games) to click out of, the ad will not go away. Lately, I have had to completely close out of the game in order to make the ad go away, which becomes frustrating. By this point, I no longer want to play.

Great game except one (significant) glitch. Great game. Very addictive. Simple fun structure. Get all blocks in a row and they disappear, get a new set of blocks and try to line them up to disappear so you keep your board clear and have as much space as possible for the next set of bricks. Only issue is every once in a while I line up a row and it doesn’t disappear! Total glitch that can really mess up a great streak because you can NEVER get that row off. Definitely needs to be fixed.

Seriously with these ads.. I've had this puzzle game for a month and think it's great however these ads are overwhelming. I paid to have them removed only to realise it's for 30 days at a time. Which becomes very expensive for a game like this. As a result I am going to have to delete it. W

Enjoyable but too many ads. I enjoy the actual game, but there is an ad at the end of each game which is super annoying. I’ll pay for an ad free version happily but I’m not paying $5.99 per month for that luxury - I’d rather delete the app.

Stress relief. This is my go to game when I need to destress. You don’t have to think like in sudoku but there is more strategy than solitaire

Ruined with Ad banner. Ok, so we all know they want to sell us stuff, but today when I started playing the game anew Ad Banner has been placed permantly at the top of the screen. Each time they’d changes, the game goes glitchy, and is ridiculously slow. So, bye-bye Blockscapes.

Could be a great game but.... The game is kind of pointless. You can play as long as your tolerance for the same mindless ads over and over lasts. You don’t progress through levels, there are seemingly no penalties and no way to get rid of the ads. I see no way for the developer to make money - unlike their other games which really gouge you - and would think they would at least sell an ad-free version.

Some feedback for the developers:. - The game is mostly enjoyable. I only play it during the weekend challenge though, as I find it kind of boring during the week. Maybe you could do an alternate mid week challenge to keep it interesting? - I like the new addition of the different style blocks. Good idea! - Paying a monthly fee to get rid of ads is a rip off, especially when we can just refresh the app every time an ad appears. I’d be much happier to do a one off payment. - I’ve noticed in the past couple of months how laggy the game can get. Is it a bug? Sometimes I can barely move the blocks. I certainly can’t use any of the moving backgrounds, because it makes it even more ridiculously slow. I sometimes have to refresh the app so often that I give up playing it. Quite annoying. ✌🏻

I’ve only played the new themed blocks today. So if it still costs 50 coins to rotate something and 350 to drop the blocks to the bottom I give it a 3/5, however if it has changed for the better I’d give the game a possible 5/5

App Goes Offline. This is an okay app but during their weekend competitions it frequently goes offline for no reason at all. You lose all the points you have built up. It has nothing to do with my internet connection as it remains up and running during these offline periods. Some of the ads are quite long. Waiting can be annoying.

Jipped of points. I started out thoroughly enjoying this game, simply but reissuing , however, when you reach a certain level, one is supposed to get a certain amount of points, in my case every time I reached 5000 points, I would get a 50 point bonus, and I started noticing, that they were not giving me the 50 point bonus and it was happening frequently, and considering you need these points to be able to rotate the blocks etc., It was very disappointing !! I think they need to tweak their system or something ! I did contact the developer to no avail! I also think that the 300 point option to move all blocks to the bottom of the page is a bit extreme, because if you hit the button by accident, and it’s in a strategic place where it happens often, then you lose a really good chunk of points, all in all I deleted the app because I just got tired of being shipped of my points, and it wasn’t relaxing for me anymore For the record……I DID contact the developer through the settings section on the app……….no reply

My go to game but.... This is my relaxing game, my de stressing game, my focus game. I am autistic and this game is essentially a security blanket to me. I enjoy it so much. But I wish they would stop adding different shapes because it messes with my ability to predict and plan my moves, which is important to me and it stresses me out to see the new shapes. Also... There are so many ads. Normally they’re short but they’re obtrusive. I’d pay a couple bucks to make it go away.

New algorithm. I am not ok with the new algorithm. I have been playing this game for years, and with the last update they block you out so quickly it isn’t even worth playing. This used to be a good way for me to unwind, and now it is just frustrating that in three rounds of blocks they give you pieces that cause you to lose. And there is no way around it. I am a puzzle master with above average intelligence. This is not ok. I’m about to uninstall because it stresses me out more than it helps me relax anymore.

App freeze my phone. I love this game. It’s relaxing & something to do while listening to Audible/documentaries. My issue is that the game freezes A LOT. It’s to the point it freezes my whole phone. A Great game. I love this game it helps me brain smarter than what it was I just think that it gives you some parts that the computer know you can’t put anywhere and the it has the same ad every time and after two games it gives you a ad which is not too bad if you ask me. What happened?. I’ve been playing blockspaces for a while now, and have always really enjoyed it! However, the app open now! It gets stuck on the loading screen and won’t go any further. I’ve closed the app, turned off my phone, and tried again, but that doesn’t fix it! Please come up with a fix for this problem!!!!

Difficulty creep?. Game's fun. But uh, getting the different graphics for the blocks, it seems like the double and triple star ones (rarity, I guess) has a significant difficulty creep. I'm good at getting 1100+ score every game I play but when I choose the double or triple starred graphics, I can't even get 1100+ unless I'm playing on my 10th game. Could be just me. I don't know.

Om. This has become part of my pre-bedtime routine! Love the beautiful changing landscape backgrounds, the peaceful music, and challenging myself to beat my newest high score for the month. (It seems like the computer anticipates your moves so you’re constantly having to change your moves, mid-step!) I also enjoy not having to pay an arm and a leg to play!

Frustrating - not Fair. With the inability to rotate pieces and being at the mercy of whatever pieces the game gives you, this potentially great game is garbage. There is no way anyone except the game developers could be lucky enough to get game pieces in the correct order to get to the posted high scores. All the high scores are bogus. You have no idea what game pieces you will get. Better off playing Solitaire, at least you can go back and try other combinations.

Perfect game for visual “nerds”. I’ve been playing this game for under 24 hours, and I’m already hooked. I absolutely love this game! I give it only four stars for two reasons: (1) the ads are EXTREMELY distracting and I haven’t seen a way to discontinue them. Add an option for “ad-free play” and the game will be perfect. (2) the game crashed a couple of times. Not sure why. It just went away as if I weren’t playing. It did save whatever I was in the middle of, though.

Has gone to crap. This used to be one of my favorite addictive games. I’ve been playing it for over a year and found it very valuable in getting my brain firing in moments of stress or other blocks. Now they’ve littered it with so many ads that it’s annoying and stressful. The ads will pop-up in the middle of a game and when the ads are done, so is your game and you have to start completely over. The frequency of those mid game ads is increasing and today I have decided to delete the game once and for all.

Sexual ads at night. Don’t play this game if you are any sort of prude. I am not and was still surprised when I was served an ad for an S&M game. These ads usually come at night, but I’ve been served a few in the morning when my kids are around. No thank you. Game is fun though, I just wish there were a countdown for when you can earn the seasonal tiles. I think it was less than a week for the 4th of July ones. Grrr.

It is a great game but….. Ok so I downloaded this game a few months ago for a flight and it was so good I never deleted it. Fun and challenging. I’m sure I spend too much time on the site, but I’m enjoying the challenges. It requires full concentration to play well. But you can leave a game for 5 min break or for hours and then continue where you left off. I feel I am competing more with myself, but there is a leaderboard if someone, not me, is interested. I go for running monthly total.

Mature, violent ads. The ads for this game look like they’re designed for kids, but after every few rounds of innocent seeming games of garden scape characters, you find yourself either looking through the scope of a sniper rifle aimed at people’s heads, or watching a cartoon character (same character as “innocent” gardenscape games) have an affair with the maid while his pregnant wife comes home and is then kicked out of the house. I’m appalled. Stay away from this brand: garden scape/block scape. Something is wrong with the moral lens of those making these games that are attractive to kids.

Super fun. This is a great game. The one and only thing that I wish was different was different sound effects for blocks. Right now when you pick them up they all sound wooden. I think it could be cool to have a variety of sounds to match the pattern of block you have.

It’s a great app!. I love this app because when I have nothing to do or when I’m bored I can play this game for several hours and not get bored again. Plus when I’m on a road trip I can play this game because it doesn’t include WiFi. Also it does not take space. It is a favorite game to me I love it!

Great Game For Podcasts. I really enjoy playing this while I am listening to podcasts. It’s challenging, but not too challenging, and if you come to a point where you can’t make any more moves, you can start a new game. Points accrue for 2 different cheats. I wish there was an undo last move cheat. Have fun!

It’s an ok game!. So I love most of the games by this company, So I looked up The games they made on the App Store, I looked through and came across this game, I downloaded it and started playing it right away. It sent me to where you would start playing the first time level thing, although it doesn’t give you levels which is slightly annoying, I played it for a minute until it said out of moves. There isn’t many features like the other game though. Overall, It’s a pretty good game.

I love the it but….. Reason for 3 stars is every time I fill up the progress meter the background changes. I always have to change it back to the one I want and next time I fill up the bar and I unlock a new background it’ll change the background again. It’s annoying! I chose my background and wish it would stay the one I chose. Please make that an option

Best game ever. I love this game because it tests your brain, but not too hard. The update it did was awesome I love it so much more and I play it all the time now, since I used to not. The only problem is after reaching a couple hundred thousand brain points it’s the sam background, so I would like if they added more. Overall this is my favorite game it’s the best.

It’s good but it freezes a lot!. I really like how addicting this game is and how there are events. HOWEVER, I absolutely hate that it is so laggy and freezes my phone so much! Also if I’m not too careful it overheats my phone really quickly. Rip Off ☹️. This is a rip-off since I just paid $3.99 for the no ads version, but it only lasts for 30 days. Plus, every time I need to turn a tile around to make it fit better, there is a charge of $.50. It looked like a Tetris type game in which I have always been a fan, but it will be too costly to play adequately. One of the best games ever!!!. I got this game thinking it would be one that would end up having a bunch of lives and moves. But that is not the case!!! Beware of no ad cost. Game is fun but when you pay for no ads you only get no ads for 30 days. I will not do that no ads again. They should let you know that before you pay the cost. They tell you that after you already paid the cost. That is not good business that is deceptive to me.

Fun but,. So it takes a few runs to figure it out. Once you do it gets harder as your overall build score gets higher. After a certain number, it seems like the program gets so hard you can’t even play for more than 3 minutes before you lose.

Game is likely rigged against you. I’ve been playing this game for several years and I am pretty addicted to it. However, it has become apparent that regardless of mathematical calculations as well as strategic block placing, the game will always win by giving you a combination of bricks that are impossible to place. BEST APP EVER!!!. This is by far one of the best apps on have ever seen in my life, to be honest I really love it, it is a app that helps you and help your brain, over time I became smart with this game, my dad loves it a lot he now has reached 6,026, that is so good am I right? One dimensional. Do you know why games like asteroids,centipede, pitfall and other games of the 80s died... they were one dimensional with no end or way to win, no reward just the same old thing over and over and over... well this is worse, this game is about as one dimensional of a game as you will find, you are stuck from the moment of your first move ! It makes players frustrated with no room to build big chucks to be cleared, much easier to run out of space and and to start over again. PLEASE GIVE US BACK THE BIG BOARD! Thank you!

Amazing Game!. Blockscapes is wonderful! It is so fun to find all the little spots to put the blocks. Just so fun! I am on level 278. I got this game about a month ago! It is so fun. I even worked my way up onto the leaderboard! Sometimes a little glitchy, but fine really. I really recommend Blockscapes!❤️😊

Fix the glitch - mid-puzzle bounce to malware site. This bug must be fixed or I’d recommend players avoid the game to prevent themselves from malware and virus issues on their devices, until it’s resolved. Recently the game has been bouncing mid-puzzle to a malware site in the browser. Looking through the reviews I see I’m not the only one experiencing this. I’ve played this game for years, and typically enjoy it despite the nuisance of lengthy ads. But this recent issue has me very frustrated and disappointed.

PLEASE offer a different Ad free option. I have been playing this game for several months. I really enjoy it. However the ads are relentless, and paying $3.99 per month for an ad free game is above comprehension. For this reason I will not continue with this app. There are too many other games out there that will captivate my interest. BTW, I would happily pay $3.99 for six months...but not monthly.

Blockscapes. Blockscapes makes you think and plan for your next move. As a 78 year old, I try to play this and Wordscapes each day to keep my mind sharp. It’s fun to try to get a higher score …. I don’t always do it, but it’s fun to try! Thanks for creating these games. And the word search too!!

So far so calm. So far this has been such a mindless, zen game. I can focus on the really calming sounds and nothing but matching up blocks[and not my very stressful daily life]. No silly ads to watch every 5 seconds and very simple, effective gameplay. Granted, I just began playing, but I like it so far. I gave it 4 stars for now so I can continue to play and check back with how I feel at a later time with more experience...

Addictive fun. Unlock other games I have downloaded to play and clear my head, this one isn’t a “pay to play” mentality. While there are challenges and ratings, it isn’t the crazy competitive game that makes you feel a strong urge to empty your bank account. I have really enjoyed this.

Amazing game!. I got this like two minutes ago ofter seeing a billion adds for it. However, I always enjoyed the little playable bit at the end. Getting it, its been super relaxing and I am thoroughly enjoying. It has nice music and fun backgrounds. Hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I am :)

Critical thinking!. I love to be challenged through critical thinking! This game allows me to do that. With 3-4 upcoming blocks, and the one you have to play,,, for a successful puzzle, you must plan ahead! This game allows that. However, I would like to see more options to get or win coins. So far, one of my favorite games.

I’m a retired United States Marine with a severe traumatic brain injury that I acquired while in service after 19 severe traumatic brain surgeries that I had to have after the accident. I love this game!. I love this game so much! It helps me relax when I’m stressed or upset. I can sit and decompress with this game, much Ike the other games this company makes. Somehow they manage to create fun games that both work the mind and like I said, this game as well as the rest of this company’s games, help me relax and calm down. I swear that downloading these games is the best decisions I’ve ever made!😁

I’m happy that gave a chance to the blocks.. Very entertaining. Although love to play solitaire they suggest to do something else afraid that I was hooked in the games. I’m 80 in January , with this pandemic and the quarantine we are not able to go out. what I do? Play from iPhone doing the blocs. I want to train my mind so I’ll get More intelligent and be prepaid for old age. Thanks for being interested on getting hooked. Nanisima.

SO MANY ADS!. This game is actually quite enjoyable and fun, however each round is too short to justify a 30+ second ad after every single round. It completely takes away all enjoyment. Also the game doesn’t even offer a $1-4 version to get rid of ads, it only offers a monthly subscription!! I’d happily pay a one time fee to get rid of ads. I’m not going to pay a monthly fee and I imagine most won’t either. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. There are plenty of other “wood sliding puzzle” games that don’t have such egregious ads.
