Daily Challenges. I like playing the Daily Challenges each day. I look forward to revealing the mystery picture. Could you please get some new mystery pictures? There are literally hundreds of places in the world, but I’m earning places that are already in my collection. Also, it would be extra awesome if you told what the pictures were. Some are very well known like the Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal, but others are more obscure and I don’t know their names. I would love to earn more and learn more. Please get more mystery pictures for the Daily Challenges. Thank you.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Hi! This is my 4 star review. First off, I wanted to say that uncrossed is an awesome game that definitely sharpens your mind! I have not had any issues with it lately, and I am excited to play it at times. Although, the one thing I’m struggling with is that some of the levels are extremely hard, and with how many coins you get per round, the hint price is pretty expensive! Now, the other things (bullseye, etc.) are a reasonable amount of coins, but the hints are just a little overpriced to me. This is not bad, and surely not something to be worries about...it’s just my opinion. This is the only thing that is bothering me, and other than this, I think uncrossed is a sentimental game that definitely deserves a 4-5 star rating! Great game !. Love playing ! My 5 year old likes playing too. I often play with him but he steals my phone to play. Even though he uses all the coins I earn for hints and rockets (drives me crazy as I’m a coin hoarder) , he at least learns “new words”. I wish you can download the pics you earn. I guess one can screen shot the photos but still would be nice to have DL option. Thanks for this game ! Prefer anagram style to crossword.

Logic + Real Words...mostly. The alphabetizing of the increasing word / letter sizes / amounts makes those missing words much easier & fun to figure out. Then, mostly REAL words are used, mostly spelled correctly!, unlike other Crossword apps. OK, there’s some slang, some contractions and onomatopoeic words thrown in too, but that’s OK. This is one you don’t have to spend a lot to play, if you have a massive vocabulary, apply that logically in alphabetical progression.

Paid for removing ads but continually get ads. I would rate this game 4 stars if it didn’t continually remind me to purchase piggy banks or other in app bundles. It’s not only extremely annoying and disruptive of the fun gameplay but seems to be a violation of my purchase to remove ads. At the very least it is misleading. Please remove your pop ups for users who paid for ad free game access. Apple please review this deceptive developer practice. I was duped into purchasing a piggy bank thinking it was a one time unlocking purchase. Not cool developers. Please respect your purchasers or you will lose their loyalty. This game was highly recommended. Until these issues are resolved I would never recommend your games. Other word game developers are not deceptive.

A delightful difference. “Uncrossed” offers a new and often challenging member of the Wordscapes family. Progress through the traditional crossword format offers clues such as length and intersections. “Uncrossed” has no intersections but an organized pile of cells to be filled in instead. Simpler to make and sometimes simpler to solve. However, rare is unusual words can appear anywhere in the pile in constrained by other words.

Malicious / Phishy Ads. The game itself is super fun, but I am having a major issue with extremely malicious and phishy ads, despite having the paid version. I should have no ads at all, and at least 2-3 times a day when I play, my game is interrupted by the game opening extremely malicious ads in my browser (sites claiming I am a lucky winner if I just click and enter personal info, or fake Norton antivirus pages “detecting” hundreds of viruses on my device). I have complained to support multiple times (including providing screenshots and links to redirects) and it has never gotten me anywhere. Super disappointing, I’d like to just enjoy playing the game I paid for. Please resolve this issue. I’m starting to think maybe the game itself has been hacked.

The ads keeps freezing up. It won’t let me play. I love this game. Every time I finished the level, it goes to ads. The ads frozen and I cannot play the next level. I had to shut down my IPad and then rebooted it. I did this several times finally I got impatient with the frozen ads. I deleted the game. I am disappointed. I tried no ads and paid for it on other wordscape games and it does not work in removing the ads. I wasted my money on it. I wished the gaming programmers stopped being so greedy about the ads. They seem to never to fix the ads problem.

Wordscapes Uncrossed. I like the original Wordscapes..in crossword form. On later levels each word you get right gives you hints for the words that cross it. I have completed over 1000 levels of that game and still enjoy it and find that t challenging. That said, I have barely begun this new uncrossed game..am on level 6 or 8. So I like the game but cannot comment much since it’s so early in the game. Maybe in a month or so I’ll come back and add some pertinent details..

Wordscapes Uncrossed is the Best!. I have Wordscapes downloaded as well, but Wordscapes Uncrossed is SUPER fun. I absolutely love the Wordscapes games, and I highly recommend the uncrossed version. Don’t be fooled by how easy the first few levels are, because it does get harder! I have one complaint: hints cost too much. I did get the “half price for one hour” deal, which is really helpful, but paying 50 coins for one letter is a lot. Other than that, Wordscapes Uncrossed is a terrific game! You should definitely download it if you’re looking for a fun word game.

Great game. I just found this game not too long ago. I am a word puzzle junkie. Fairly benign addiction, huh? I discovered yesterday that I had already tore through all the levels. I will keep revisiting for your daily puzzle which I thoroughly love. The words being in alphabetical order helps players be successful. I await new games. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. I read some other reviews and didn’t know two letter words were in play. I can’t complain about ads because I play offline with the exception of your daily puzzles. I’m no genius believe me on this one point, but I rarely use hints. So I apologize that you haven’t made money on me.

The best part without the crossword!. The riddle of finding words is my favorite part of Wordscapes, and while it’s fun sometimes I just don’t want to do the crossword part of it. I was just thinking the other day that I wish they had a non crossword version because I’d play it often, and then I saw the ad for this one and was so excited! I regularly play it before bed to help get my brain tired out for sleep but sometimes it’s hard to put down!

UNCROSSED. I very much enjoy the challenge of finding words - it helps to find words knowing they come before and after the words you find. Despite what others think, there is still the challenge and a lot of thinking involved. Strongly recommend this game to all!! It becomes difficult because you have to recall the words you used after you've been away. All in all, good clean fun!! I've found only a few words that I don't know. However, too many words, that I've come up, are bonus words and not the words being used.

Haven’t tired yet. Still playing the game with adverts. The ads aren’t intrusive to disruption and do stop from time to time after playing a couple of minutes. The game had thrown on some easy (easier), levels which gives your brain a much needed rest. Whoever suggested it, Thanks! Before it was getting harder as you went up and not on long words but ones that are right before your eyes but danged if you could see them. All in all, a truly Free enjoyable game! GET IT

Awesome!. Hi so first off this is a GOOD game for kids who are not that good at spelling it also a good learning game it’s perfect for all!! No matter how bad you are at spelling your all AMAZING!!!😁But.... I don’t like if you don’t have enough MONEY COINS FROM THE GAME you have to buy the am and plus one of them is 49$ and thats like yea let me have 49$ please and I don’t like it that much and it’s actually not worth it because it’s just for game coins and it seems kinda like a scam not to be mean or anything but it’s a lots of money 💵 . But it is a awesome game but I need to go byeee!! Thank you developers I appreciate it!😁

Cluttered. The game is mildly challenging so relaxing and fun. After every single round, however, an endless ad comes up for some other game. When you finally get back to the Wordscapes game, there are ads moving along the edges — seizure producing ads by the way for anyone for anyone who gets seizures from steadily moving light patterns. In order to play the game at all, I have to tape a piece of cardboard across the bottom of my screen to block out the moving ad patterns. I’m only at level 155 or so, but have to just delete the app. Between time wasted waiting for the full page ads between games to end and having to make sure the bottom of the screen is covered to avoid a seizure, the bad design outweighs any enjoyment of the actual game. And, sure, you can pay five dollars or so and go ad free. But I’m not trusting that it will be ad free no matter what I pay. I suspect the developer can’t resist adding something no one wants no matter what. Maybe not. But I’m not going to pay to find out.

Stole My Money. I love your word games and have several of them and have completed all the available levels. Yesterday I downloaded this one, bought the game to get rid of the annoying ads, played the first two levels then it wouldn’t allow me to play any more. I connected it to facebook then deleted the game hoping when I downloaded it, again, it would remedy the situation. Sadly, no luck. And, worst of all, even though I connected to facebook, again, it did not go back to the previous level I’d finished. It took me to the beginning and wants me to pay, again! Would love for you to fix the game or refund my purchase. Thank you in advance for taking care of this situation!

Love this game but.... I do love this game but at the level I’m at I would expect harder puzzles! Some of them are almost 4th grade level. I like the bonus puzzles to get perks which I refuse to BUY!!!! The only thing I’m going to PAY for on a FREE game is to get rid of the incessant commercials for the same game OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. And the commercials are so long UGH!! Another bonus is having tournaments which offer pay outs if you qualify high enough.

Too many ads!!. First downloaded and played this game late last year, continuing into this year. I finished the entire game(2900 puzzles). There were no ads. I loved it so I decided to start it over again. So I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app. I noticed two differences right away. The amount of puzzles are less. And every other puzzle is followed by a long ad. It’s annoying. Why is there now so many ads, when before, there was none?

Update Daily Puzzle. This is one of my favorite word game apps. However, there has been a glitch this month in the Daily Puzzle. I only got to play for two days, then since 3/3 it has been stuck on the date March 27 and thinks the puzzle has been completed, no longer giving me a new puzzle. Hopefully, this can be fixed for next month. Also, would love to unlock new images each month like in the crossword app rather than repeating last year’s images. Thank you.

Great app but beware....... This app/game is so much fun you might spend more time then you should playing it!!! I’d say it’s about the best out there, and trust me I’ve tried them all. The ads are a little frustrating in the beginning, but once you get to a certain point you hardly have any ads at all, and as long as you tap in the upper right or left hand corner right away they go away, it’s totally worth downloading.

So much better. …than another word (connect) game. This game uses actual words, not fragments of Latin phrases, obscure slang, such as “der” - seriously, der de der , i.e. dumb, and obscure words such as certain fungi that grow on the north side of a specific island in the Indian Ocean, just for example! So far I haven’t seen any teams, unlike the original Wordscapes, which I also enjoy very much. Just good word fun!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Uncrossed!. I almost gave up on this game because of all the ads - especially the 30 second ads between nearly EVERY set. But finally, a half price ($4.99) offer to remove ads was offered, and I jumped on it. Typically, I would simply have removed the game from my iPad, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this game! I thought it was never going to get challenging, but somewhere around level 175, it starts being a little more difficult. I emphatically endorse this game!

Completed all puzzles!. I have enjoyed playing these puzzles. Fun, a bit challenging and relaxing. Surprised and disappointed that I completed all the puzzles! And there is no way to collect the 500 coins. I’ve tried and failed. What is the secret? All accrued coins are useless. Sent to another game by same developers, coins did not follow. New game, WordScapes. Both are fun and relaxing to play. With this new game the letter amount is 100 coins, but any collection of coins is only 25 coins. A bit high for one letter, don’t you think? How about increasing the coin collection to 50 coins? Make someone happy!

Third time round. Finished the game twice and back for another round. Problem with other games of a similar style is the ads follow every turn. Yes, here too there are ads, yes you can pay to get rid of them, but if you are willing to deal with them, they are at a less frequent. You can get through several games before being interrupted. Makes a huge difference.

Being allowed to finish a game when one has to stop to go do something else. I play the game regularly. However I don’t always get to complete a game. If I’m down to a couple of words and have to end my session. When I come back to finish the app begins a new game. I haven’t given up or quit because I was having difficulty with a word. I quit because I had to do something else. There doesn’t seem to be a way to go back to the previous game either. I don’t like that part and may stop to find something else if you don’t care to fix that glitch(mistake in my opinion) Phil Dell’Isola

Super long ads plus constant freezes. First off, this game has the longest ads I’ve ever seen in an app. And trying to close them out results in confusion. I would never let a kid use this because there’s a 99% chance they would accidentally end up purchasing one of the other game apps this game constantly advertises. It would be a fun game to play and I’d be happy to part with my money to remove ads, BUT, the game constantly freezes. This doesn’t happen with any other app on my phone. I also have the latest OS, so I know it’s not me. I downloaded this developer’s other word app hoping it was more stable but that one is filled with issues too. It’s too bad because they could have had something great here.

Great! Wide vocab, no distractions, alpha order answers. Finally! Unlike most of these games, all of them I've played, the range of acceptable words is extensive - even obscure ones I've learned from other types of word games. So I can easily rack up extra points without the constant frustration of rejecting words that I know are real. Answers are in alphabetical order. So you have a much better chance to figure them out without blindly, endlessly, guessing being limited to a crappy vocab. Straightforward game play. There's no nonsense with extra things to do like collect things, dumb pointless contests, cute animals etc. to weed thru just to play.

Much fun, but…. I’ll admit, I mostly do the daily puzzle rather than the main puzzles. That makes the reward pictures a big part of my enjoyment of the game. (I do the same thing with other Wordscapes puzzles). What disappoints me is that the reward pictures have been repeats for some time now. I think I first noticed it 2-3 months ago. The other titles don’t seem to be repeating their pics, so I know it’s possible to keep adding new content. That aside, very enjoyable.

How good the game is. It is a good game you can play in peace . You can go to settings and make it quite and the listen to music and you can learn how to spell and Parents your kids can learn how to spell and so when their in class they will be able to spell and if you like spelling you will like this if you don’t like spelling then this not for you but this a good game thank you for this game .😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

“Their, there, and they’re NOT the same!”. Great, fun, and useful “tool!” I’m one of the “boomers” still kickin’, so I’m kinda’ of a stickler for using proper grammar, correct punctuation, etc. and there is not much attention paid to those typographical uses any more ... “analog-English” is being quickly replaced with “digital-dictation,” therefore, I’m being forsaken as just an old ‘coot!’ Hah! Game is good but now a random beep. Starting a few weeks ago, a random bee begins to play on my iPhone only when this game is open. Took me this long to figure out it was this game causing the beeps. It’s a one second beep that sits on top of notifications and you can’t remove it until you close the game. So I’m uninstalling. The game itself is good though repeats itself every so often warm for the bee I would still be playing it though for sure

Fun!. I love playing with letters and words. This game is challenging enough with out getting frustrated as well as relaxing. My only frustration is, there are soo many advertisements! like almost after every level. It's like they want to force you to buy the ad free version. Nope! I just exit out of the game during the ads and then go back in and it lets me start a new level. a little annoying but worth it so I'm not being subliminally force to buy the ad free.

Excellent game, definitely would recommend!. I used to play the original Wordscapes all the time, but ever since the introduction of hints in the form of rockets and bees and arrows, with all of the buttons cluttering up the screen, I got turned off to it. Wordscapes Uncrossed is untouched by that as of this review, for which I am grateful. I am hoping that this time the developers will keep it this way, so I will feel comfortable enough with this app to purchase the removal of ads. Still a great game that is simplistic and fun, still a great job that the developers are doing.

Real words. While I enjoy playing this game to challenge myself to think beyond my normal day to day activities, too many times it uses slang rather than real words. Rather than pushing my mind to think of more difficult words, I have to dumb it down to consider what slang words might be there. 9/10 times the real words are missing and the slang words are there. Also, it would be nice to get credit for all the words that aren’t in the puzzle, even if they use more letters than the puzzle asks for. Thanks

Emphasizes lower vocabulary. From a fun perspective, all of these games are well designed and quickly engaging. But the longer I played this and it’s brother apps, the more they really irritate. There is no rhyme or reason solid words from the English language score in one round, but not in the next. A huge vocabulary actually works against the player, as the better the words you choose, the more they are either rejected or deemed “bonus words” and chew up play. As with too many App Store apps, it’s all about prying in-game purchasers from the player. Think Apple isn’t encouraging this? I knew Steve Jobs, and he’s rolling in his grave. Boycott games that exist only to milk you with in-app purchases! Boycott this app.

Love it!. First of all, the game itself is very cool. Although the graphics are not to great, ( they are better than most games) it is still such a wonderful game. I always put on a relaxing podcast to listen to while I am doing the game. You can turn the music off, and then kick back, relax, and listen to your favorite podcast. The game by itself is also very relaxing. You don’t need to listen to a podcast because it’s just so relaxing by itself. There are so much puzzles, at least 2,000 or more. It always keeps me busy- even if I’m bored. I have such an addiction to this game, it is amazing ! One thing I would like the developers to add is events. An example is a Halloween one, where the background is all spooky, like Halloween. And just fun little mini games here and there to give you a break. Thank you for reading my report, Emma C.

To Many Ads. An Advertisement after every single level you play. I kid you not. Then the aggravation of finding and hitting the tiny X to close the Ad is ridiculous. Then some Ads will take you to the App Store instead of closing so you are better off just completely exiting from the game. Maybe this is a misguided attempt to get people to pay money to go Ad free but in reality all it does is anger the people trying to play the game. Update November 2022 I received an email about this review which requested two things, one line in the email asked me to change my review which I absolutely refuse to do. The second request was to provide information about the ads going to the App Store. Well I tried but the link to “ contact developer “ did not work. I have screen shots of two ads in particular but they are not the only offenders. If there is no way to contact anyone what good does it do? My initial review still stands.

Worscapes. I really like the app, but one thing that I noticed is that if you click on the hint button and you don’t have enough money for it to work it says “watch add to get 25 coins.” Almost every time I clicked on the “watch video” button, the video wouldn’t load and it would bring me back to the level I was on. I would love it if this bug could be fixed in the next update. Other than that, it’s a really nice game.

Works the old brain two ways!. What I really love about this game is, not only do you have to find words to complete each level, but the words are in alphabetical order. Sounds easy, but not NEARLY as simple as it sounds. The requirement to find words that go alphabetically in between other words can really force the brain to work overtime. Love this game!

Love love love this game!. I used to play the original version of this game. You could join teams and even if you didn’t join, you had to play in tournaments every weekend. Also, the games were timed. I got so tired of this kind of game. It was stressful and pressured. And I just found this wonderful version!! No teams. No tournaments. No pressure. No stress. Just a great word game!! Yay!!!!

👍. Ads for different versions of Wordscapes come up all the time in this version, which is pretty funny Imo. That’s so clever of em to monopolize their market like that. Smart. I like this game. It makes sense and it’s easy to use. It’s calming to look at and the words connect smoothly on my little iPhone. This one does crash in ads sometimes, but it’s nice for bedtime. It ends up conveniently crashing just about the same time as I do or I just hard close and restart. Takes all of a second and I’m sure it’ll happen less as we start buying more hints and stuff.

Please Help! 🙏. I am an eleven year-old who loved this game! That’s right, loved. I hope I still can, but it seems you have made this and your wordscapes search game are now 17+! Unless you have a serious reason for this, because I have an idea I will get into later, why? For example, the regular Wordscapes has chat and the ONLY Wordscapes branded game (that I know of) that has ANY social interaction! I loved playing this game with my grandparents, and personally, I dunno if the have a lot of time left… 😔. Please, this is my favorite word game chain, and still in my top five FAVORITE games ever! A Truly Genius Game. This game has been an excellent time-passer for me. It’s an addictive word search app that I can’t put down. There are many puzzle games that are much like it, but none seem to measure up to the phenomenon known as Wordscapes Uncrossed. There were times when my inability to find a word would frustrate me, but the beautiful backgrounds are literally visual therapy! Much thanks to the (beyond awesome!) developer for creatively fashioning such an incredible game. You guys have newly defined the meaning of ‘word search’ and brought it back bigger and better than ever. 🤩

Good Game. Of all their games this is the one I like the best. There’s just enough challenge to keep my interest but isn’t overtaxing, so it’s relaxing. I also like that it moves quickly and doesn’t make you pause for too long as you wait for all the congrats graphics to get out of the way. Really wish they’d just leave that part out altogether...such a low bar for praise, it’ sad.

Advertisement overload. It would be nice to be able to play without all the advertisements. Every few levels would be ok but there is and after every puzzle. That is a tad too many. I don’t want to purchase anything in order to remove ads. As I said, it is advertisement overload. I’m going to delete the ap and find one without all the interruptions. It is a fun game and I enjoy playing it, but,it isn’t fun to have to stop and deal with ads. If you change this frustration inducing aspect of the game I will try it again.

TheGamerSeal. The game is an adequate brainteaser for most situations when and where you’d play mobile games (waiting for something or someone, using the restroom, etc.). Depending on your preference for hints in puzzle games, however, this game can range from annoying to occasionally-but-not-oppressively helpful. If you’re the type of person who likes to figure things out on your own, you might be disappointed to know that the game does force its help on you from time to time. An example would be out-of-game notifications that will give you a word for your current puzzle if you haven’t opened the app recently (Example: “You can lick this puzzle 👅. Try the word LIT” - written as shown in my previous notification, including the emoji and lack of punctuation after “LIT”). Another example would be one of the daily rewards, which can contain anything from discounts on purchaseable hints to free ones, called “spelling bees”. As far as I know, there’s no way to skip the daily reward pop-up, so when you inevitably get these bees, you might be dismayed to find that they will automatically fill in some blanks on the next puzzle you open. For someone who would rather play the game without help, these forced hints are frustrating to encounter. On a lighter note, the game does offer a soothing atmospheric soundtrack with a well-done interface; plus, daily puzzles that allow you to unlock some good landscape and architectural pictures.

Mostly really fun but a couple annoying things. I paid to remove ads, so I’m a little annoyed by all the attempts to get me to pay for coins, but it’s not that bad compared to other games that do that. The most annoying thing for me is making certain words unusable because apparently they’re… upsetting, maybe? I’m not talking profanity. I’m talking normal words in the dictionary. Really bugs me and I’m moving on to other word games. It’s still a good game, but annoying things kind of spoil the fun.

Levels inconsistent, difficulty levels suddenly drop off the table.. First off, I do love this game, as well as the other variations. It’s a great time-killer. But an issue for me is that at level 258, I am presented a three letter puzzle (ELG) with two three letter answers - (spoiler alert) LEG and GEL. That’s at level 258. I don’t think one should be getting puzzles suitable for a 6-year old child at level 258! I would hazard a guess that there are a finite amount of puzzles built (roughly 250?) and that once completed, you start them over again. I’ll let you know what happens @ Level 500... UPDATE; now at level 2095, which was two words - ECHO and HOE. So even after over two THOUSAND levels, you’re still at about a fourth-grade level. It’s still a time-killer, but I wish it became a bit more challenging as one goes along. Similar games seem to have solved this issue, even those of the same developers - but here we are.

A healthy challenge for those who enjoy word games.. Although this one has the same draw the lines to the letters that others have, I’ve found it refreshing with the beautiful backgrounds. The challenge increases in each game but the easy one thrown in makes for a laugh near the end. It’s amazing how you can look at words you know yet can’t recognize them in this context. Fun diversion!

Ad nauseam. After every game an ad plays. Each section has 20 games, so there’s 20 ads. This just over the top! Yes you can do a purchase to make it ad-free but not at $7.99, it’s just not that good. Same word combinations come around too often too. Boring. Sorry, one star is being generous. Deleting!

Very addictive. This game is great. I like that it starts off easy then gets harder. Really good game to keep your brain active. Hopefully won’t get dementia when older

Too many ads. The game is good, but there are too many ads… when a level can take 15 seconds to complete and you get unskippable 1 minute ads after every level, it’s just painful. Played for 2 days before it was so frustrating that I just deleted the app.

Just right. Some anagram games are really hard with obscure words while others are too simple & not challenging. This one strikes an excellent balance. Obscure words are still accepted but awarded bonus. Well polished game that runs smoothly. Highly recommended

Laggy, prehistoric.. The concept is good but the product is woeful. As with all of the wordscapes games it plays with a lag that is just plain annoying that interferes with your answers. Mind you, the plethora of advertising they use all plays in perfect time so it's not my phone. Amateurish even with the updates.

Great game but annoying adds. I love these kind of games , I play a few of the free word games. This one is a great game lots of challenging puzzles , and you don’t need to spend any money you can get hints from earning coins. But I have to say the adds are really annoying with this game , they seem more frequent than other games , and they seem much longer , and just seem to be for very annoying games. It might be just me but the adds really feel excessive. I understand there needs to be adds for free games but I find I don’t notice the adds in other games but this one it’s enough to make me turn the game off

Super fun, few ads. This game is super fun with very few ads. It’s nice playing a game with fewer ads than time you actually play. Only issue that keeps me from giving 5 stars is how hard it is to earn coins. I know they want you to buy coins, but it would be nice to give coins puzzle completion or something like that. You can watch videos and stuff to earn coins, or buy them. I love the daily puzzle and daily bonus you can get.

Real words please. I enjoy the game and I don’t mind the ads after all the makers have to be paid for their work somehow. However, I feel that abbreviations are not true words and using them, it seems to me, is a lazy way to include words. Also, and this is my greatest peeve, I find I am often not getting credit for legitimate words.

You can't pick up where you leave off if you delete and reinstall and sign in again. This addictive game is helpful for my PTSD/anxiety, but after getting plenty of coins and getting higher up in the levels, the app froze and would not work so I had to delete and reinstall the app and when I signed in, it would not let me pick up where I left off which is an option at the beginning but does not work

Lying about ads. I’m curious to know who wrote these reviews. Perhaps when this game first came out it didn’t have ads; or maybe the reviews are a bunch my lies. I think it’s the latter. There are ads after every second puzzle…and it’s those ads that are hard to close. Like a lot of developers here, they only care about your money, not your enjoyment. Thanks for turning an enjoyable game into money-grabbing trash.

Sadly No New puzzles. It was a great game. I even paid to get rid of ads. But, once you finish all the puzzles there are no new ones. Alert sound. I have had this great app for a few years. Love it. But in the last month or so it has started to have alarms go off while playing. They sound like amber alerts. Reddit also has people talking about this. Strange and invasive.

Absorbing, but.... This is a challenging word game and becomes more so as a player moves forward through levels. My one complaint is the recent addition of “cheats” that give players with weaker skills opportunities to gain points by paying for letters with cash or by watching ads. Even though one can play by using “only” their own skills, it feels like the game is being dumbed down somewhat.

My thoughts. I think it’s an exciting and great game overall and a great challenge to do if you like challenges. Even when you find an actual word and it doesn’t count so I think maybe it could count or go on the list or bored or whatever it’s called. This game is super fun and challenging and it’s fun to do when you’ve got nothing else to do. For example sitting in a blizzard all day.

Challenge. This game shouldn’t be a challenge with 3 lettered and 4 lettered words mostly asked for. But something happens in the brain… beware! You will be shaking your head when you finally get that last little word! The long words are easier! Try it and see for yourself!

Wordscapes , uncrossed. I very much enjoy these word puzzles. I came across one today Which was not quite fair. The letters for the last word spell FILLET, which I got right away. However the word before that (one less letter), turned out to be filet, used primarily for French descriptions. That seems unfair since it is another form of the same word. Stick with English words and never mind variations .

Fun game!. It starts out pretty simple and as you continue to play it gets hsrder to figure out the words. It helped me with remembering and learning to spell words I’ve never seen before in my life! It’s a challenge! I’m in my 70’s — dementia runs ramped in my family — I’ve read word games help a little! So if it’s fun and it helps, I’m grateful!

Different dictionary!. This one actually takes most words, even if it dumps a lot in the bonus bin. The other two games in this series drive me crazy because they don’t accept some really basic and totally valid words. Thanks for actually using a good dictionary this time! 5-star, fun game.

Good addition. I have Learned so many new words short or long it’s amazing how your brain will work faster in other tasks later on... my reading has also improved. My daughter and I played together sometimes. I’m on level 100 on my phone and level 50 on my iPad... never boredom level in this game. Awesome Sauce.... I just found the word cause in sauce ....lol

Great game. I would have given 5 stars but the app started moving us over to a site that says “Congratulations! You’ve won…. If you take this survey, you’ll be entered to win…” a couple of times during a single game. And we have purchased the ad-free version. This is frustrating, to say the least. Can this be changed? Or did we waste our money?

Trucking down time. On the road you need all the distractions you can get and this has been one of the best ways to keep my mind busy. Above all the ads aren’t invasive to the gameplay so it’s not a horrible annoying overload of wasting time like many phone games.

Fun but annoying. I like the game overall, but if you have a large vocabulary it can be frustrating. It uses things that aren’t really words as part of the solution, while putting actual words into the “bonus” words box, which don’t count for anything. Would be nice if the words weren’t pre-programmed so that any number of words would count toward the solution. DUH is not a word!

Still addicted. Had to slow down to have it recognize all my words. Works fine now. Ads are annoying, but if you play long enough they give up trying to get you to pay to remove the ads.

Wordscapes. I have been doing Wordscapes every day for a long time. The daily puzzles have gotten easy to for me to complete. The different levels are still a challenge at times. I enjoy solving these puzzles and feel it is good exercise for my brain.

Great time killer. I really enjoy this game. I find it well designed and often challenging to get all the answers. Sometimes I have to write out the letters and try combinations before it clicks. I paid for ad free and it has been well worth the cost since I play this multiple times per day.

Clever and fun. I like how simple and focused this word game is. Nice soft music, serene background, focus on solving the puzzle. The size of graphics are good and it’s fun to play. Not too hard yet but I am sure it will be. There is always one word that’s hard to guess but eventually able to. Millions of word games with lots of fluff and stuff you don’t want. I like this one because it’s different from the rest.

What’s the difference. between this game and regular ol words scapes? NOTHING. Ads after ever level. Ads along the edge of the screen while you play. Soon we are going to end up like that black mirror episode and be forced to watch ads everywhere. I understand people have to make money but this is ridiculous. Plus the daily gifts only gave me coins and nothing else smh. So I deleted the game. I suggest you don’t even waste the space on your phone with this app.

The game is very good for your mind and I am so good with my vocabulary I’m starting to say words my teacher doesn’t know I love this game and it is addicting when you are into things like that overall I give this app a 5 star review the only thing I would prefer is giving you around 20 coins every time you complete a level but for now amazing addictive game

Ad stops game. I just downloaded this game after my favorite Wordscapes added a dreadful Star Rush feature to their tournament which ruined that wonderful game. I was hoping to try this version and reach tournament level. But the ads refuse to let you back to the game. You wait the full ad length, but then it stalls. This is infuriating. I've tolerated the full ad length ... but now it won't let me back into the game. Is this another ploy to force players to pay for ad removal. If so it's unfair and sneaky!

interesting observation. Have you noticed in the bonus rounds (25, 50, 100 & 500) prizes, the developer can shift the stared words based on your choice of a word if it will fit in another unopened section. Makes it harder to actually receive the bonus award. Think about how often you never get your 1st or even 2nd word correct on a stared line, yet your choice will eventually work out due to no remaining choices for that word spacing.

Just as good the 2nd time around. I played this to the end several years ago and recently decided to try again from the beginning. Still a challenge without being frustrating, and a good way to relax.

Very challenging. Easy at first but as you progress in the game it becomes very challenging. Really works your brain. But just when you think you can’t see the word and you’re about to give up, all of a sudden your eyes see the word you couldn’t see before. At that point you just want to kick yourself. 🤪 (my opinion)

Brain Fun. I really appreciate how this game keeps my vocabulary and spelling fresh! Analyzing patterns and recognizing words in the letter sets takes my mind off of everything. This is definitely my favorite bedtime relaxation prep. The ease of solving the shorter letter sets lets me build up my points to use when I hit a snag. It’s just, fun!

Hard to put it down!!!. This game is addictive and I find it very hard to put it down. It challenges your mind but none of the words are uncommon although you will feel stupid when you spend thirty minutes trying to guess an obvious word

can’t restore previous data or purchases?. i loved playing this game a few years ago, and wanted to pick it up again because i have some free time, but now i have to replay the ENTIRE game? it gave me an option to load previous data but it did nothing. tried signing in with social media etc but, nothing. did all that progress just disappear?? this is really unfair and weird. i’m also sure i paid to remove ads, but when i tap on “restore purchases” the app actually does NOTHING. what a scam, fix your game please…..

Awesome Word Building game. My roommate and I play in the evening. We never use coins we just use each other’s wit. At level 620 I can tell you the words are not that difficult. Occasionally you get a multi vowel word that is difficult to solve but always doable if you think. Without too much fluff I really like the game.

Can't progress anymore. I love this game and it's really challenging in a fun way but I can't progress past the first two sections no matter what I do. And when I go back to the menu and press play it takes me to a random section that isn't even on the map and doesn't save my word progress. Many others are having this problem but I still haven't found the solution and I'm a little disappointed bc I want to play more levels that are actually on the map :/

Fun-tasticly fun!!. I really enjoy the challenge of getting all the words, especially the harder ones. Making my brain work at these puzzles is a healthy decision! I enjoy this game much more than Word Cookies, because, that game has long, long ads that you can’t skip or stop them early. I really don’t like the lengthy ads. This game is just plainly plain fun!!

Killing time. Warning: This game is addictive and may cause you to start spelling words correctly without the assistance of your auto correct. You may also develop selective hearing while your kids or spouse is trying to speak to you.

Ads on top of ads & freezing. It’s ok for a ‘free’ game, though I really wish it didn’t place multiple ads at once. My phone gets really hot and the game regularly freezes. It isn’t a super old phone or anything. I would spend a few dollars to remove ads if it weren’t for the constant freezing… that makes me want a different game altogether.

Engaging. As long as the puzzles don’t repeat themselves the game is a fun activity. Having played wordscapes for a long time, once past level 6000, the configurations became repetitive. Then - due to familiarity with prior offerings the challenge is gone. This game has the added fun of before and after - or in between - because the words are alphabetized by length .

What I love about Wordscapes. This game is amazing I love learning new words and finding out the meaning of the word it’s so amazing idk how to make a game but I would make a game that helps people learn like how Wordscapes helps me learn and I even get to play it at school on my teachers iPad and iPhone I’ve been so happy about raising my hand in school because I know how to spell a word and tell the definition in class.

My Rating for Wordscsped Uncrossed. I absolutely love this app! It stretches your vocabulary and helps you exercise your brain. This app even has lulling background music. I play Wordscapes a lot in the day, but I also play this at night when I can’t fall asleep, ( it helps me fall asleep faster). This app is amazing, and I highly recommend getting it.

Fun and Educational. The only reason I would rate four stars instead of five is that most puzzles involve words that are so esoteric that I honestly believe the vast majority of players wouldn’t even know they’re words. For instance, “whit”? I have never heard that word before. I’m sure most people haven’t… Other than that it’s really fun!

Inappropriate ads are such a let down!. I have loved this game for year now and have no problem with the game itself. However, today for the first time a coloring page app add popped up with the F word and S word on the page to be colored. Are you kidding me?! What if my kids were playing this game and saw that? Unfortunately this is not the first game I’ve deleted because of adds like this. I wish someone was doing a better job of screening them. As it stands now I won’t be playing any games on my phone anymore.

Addictive. Since I started playing Wordscapes weeks ago, I haven’t seen my wife. No idea where my kids are. I stopped showing up for work. I’ve lost weight and can’t seem to find my car keys. I was told that my parents staged an intervention, but I didn’t show up because they couldn’t find me. Highly recommend!

Love this game!. To everyone about to download or already have downloaded this game I recommend it to you. This is a really relaxing game with fun puzzles to solve. What I mostly love about this is the, of course, word find. This word find opens up your mind to new words everyday. So if you haven’t downloaded it yet… get it.

I REALLY enjoy this game!. This game provides the challenge of good words. Not just the same words over and over like you see in other puzzles. I enjoy the challenge and it gives you the right amount of rewards to keep you interested. No problems with processing or otherwise.

Fun and educational but beware!!. I love word games and this one is really awesome BUT beware!! The game is rated 4+ so I downloaded it for my grandchildren. Now the ads are for games that expose children to things they should not be exposed to. For instance in the ad for ‘Choices’ it shows a girl catching her boyfriend/husband in bed with another girl. It gives her two options 1) kick him out or 2) join them. That was very hard to explain to my 6 and 8 year old grandchildren. I had to delete the game for them.

Lots of word fun. If you like Scrabble and crosswords, you’ll like the Wordscapes games. They’re excellent practice for both, I’m finding. The construction is thoughtful, with daily challenges to earn coins that you can use for hints and even weekend tournaments. Well done all through, though the puzzles do repeat. They are far enough apart not to feel repetitive.

Challenging. I have played the other Wordscapes for a year or so now. I have definitely seen a change in my own vocabulary, or even words I thought I didn’t know. This new game places the words in such a way that makes my brain work even harder to get the answers. I like the new design. Thank you.

One of my favorite word games, but there aren’t any more? I’ve completed all the games? I used to wonder if this could ever happen. The last group I completed was “forest.”

Fun, intriguing, brain workout, simple. I love this, some of the similar games have a story that goes along with it and it just drags out but this is straight to the point and keeps me entertained but keeps me on my toes to actually think about the possible words I can make with the few given letters provided on each level!
