Great game but update broke it!. Since the latest update, I am unable to play the game, I have tried restarting my phone. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and the game progress loading screen does not get beyond 50% based on the recent reviews. It seems this is an issue with several people and I am wondering what an ETA for an update to fix this is because I have paid for the season pass that is slowly getting eaten away day by day. I have tried chatting with support several times and the Bot says someone will be in touch shortly but no one joins the chat or emails me so I don’t know what to do. Will update my rating if this gets resolved. Update: still no word from support staff but game is loading now and i do enjoy the ad free game so def five stars

Playrix & Voki Games Does it Again. I play Manor Matters on my phone and I’m a huge fan of the game. I love that there are no ads and I really like the story along with all of the interactive and variety of games that move you through the levels. So when I was looking for another game to play on my iPad, I found Mystery Matters by the same developers, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. I’m not even 30 levels into the game and I’m already excited to see some of the similar features from Manor Matters that translate over to Mystery Matters and all I have to say is: please keep making awesome games.

Fun game but having a small problem. I am sure it’s just a glitch but my game seems to be stuck on the chat part. I am seeing the same message for the past week for help from other team players but when I hit help it comes right back. Also when I click on a button to go to the chat. It kicks me out the first time every time! I always have to go back into the chat twice every time. And it just now kicked me out of select collecting the prizes on one of them and I didn’t get them. So I think this is a glitch and I’m sure it’s easily fixed but I don’t know how to get a hold of help.

Family leaders beware!. I’ve been playing for a couple years now, still my favorite game! That being said, if you start your own family and miss playing for a little while they will take the leadership away from you. In my case they gave it to someone who doesn’t play regularly and doesn’t understand what the leadership role is for. Now I’m stuck with a majority of players who I think have abandoned the game and I cannot remove them. Most haven’t been seen in over a couple months or longer. I could leave the family but I started it as a way to honor my dog who had passed away. I tried to contact support over the issue. They said there’s nothing they can or will do to give the leadership back. Out of 30 players now only about five play with any regularity. There are a couple in the family since I started it and I do not want to just abandon them. So if you start a family make sure you check in regularly to keep that status.

Fine for a while, then just. so. S. L. O. W.. I just finished the 28th attempt to pass a super hard level. 28th. I have used the power ups. No go. The options I’ve gotten take me to the point where I could proceed if only I will buy 5 more and then at least 5 more chances. I’m on level 1279 and have been curious as to how far and how much I would have to spend finally restore the buildings in this endless and increasingly more expensive game. Who knows? It now costs 30 points to buy an icon to stick in another icon’s hand. Just one. There are 6 hands. 180 points to achieve…nothing. No fun choices to make about decor. No options. Just a slog through “do this or go no further” boring requirements. I don’t understand why it has to become so. very. S. L. O. W. Molasses outside in the winter runs faster and is more satisfying to watch.

Love this game but definitely frustrating at times!. I started the game a few days ago because it looked super interesting! I LOVED it and have been playing since but what I’m noticing is that I’m getting stuck on the hard and super hard levels which then takes away all my boosters/power ups and then I’m stuck on the same level for a day or two! You can use coins to continue playing but it’s been sooooo hard building up the coins to be able to do so. I wish it was easier to build up coins like in Dream Mania(another match 3 game I LOVE)! Even the regular levels are a bit difficult without the extra power ups! Those also aren’t given out easily either so without any available and any of the extra for beating 3 levels in a row on top of NEVER being able to keep over 900 coins it’s really difficult to want to keep playing! Also I think you should add into the extra boosters is extra moves as well, there just aren’t enough moves sometimes to beat these levels which is super frustrating as the premise of this game is AMAZING! I wish I could just keep playing!! Over all a really fun and interesting game just wish a few of these things would change! It also doesn’t seem like I’m the only one that has this opinion so maybe take the players thoughts into consideration😀 Thanks!

Mystery Matters. The game is definitely overall fun and I was very interested in the storyline of the game but some levels are completely difficult and impossible to pass without spending money on coins or using power ups. This game is designed to have you spend money, I’ve only gotten to level 140 and I’ve gotten stuck quite a few times on other levels which are very hard. Then when I finally end up beating the hard level I get one normal level then right back to a “hard” or “super hard” level making it impossible to actually enjoy the game and the storyline itself. Hopefully this will be fixed for other games to come but it’s seriously annoying and I have uninstalled the game since.

Update: No longer enjoyable.. Update: I’m done. Winners league is too boring and engineered frustration by algorithms to make me spend money and resource is so obvious and way too frequent that it turned me off completely this time. I don’t mind spending a bit of money to have fun, but never to let game developers take advantage of me. I’ll check in to help my teammates but I won’t play. There are other heavy players like me in the team who stopped playing in the last few weeks so I’m joining them. I guess they have enough newbies who would spend money willingly so I’m sure they don’t care about losing one or two paying customer. Original: Players, don’t have any illusions as this is another greedy Pay to Win by Playrix. I know this is business and unless developer makes money, the game will be discontinued. That’s why I purchase gold pass every time and pay occasionally for some deals and what not. I just refuse to pay to win, even after getting stuck at one level for a few days, being offered “one more move” finish 6-7 out of 10 tries. I stubbornly refuse to surrender to such psychological abuse. I actually deleted all the Playrix games including this one once and stopped playing for about a year. I switched to Lily’s Garden and played it like some addict for a while. Every time I got stuck so bad and was about to smash my phone against the wall, Lily showed up and gave me tons of boosters for free, saying these should help me. I was in tears. Then story lines of Lily’s Garden got boring and I couldn’t get used to their graphics. So I came back to this game for stories and characters and I love every interaction between Elizabeth and Detective Gomez. I also enjoy the Team effort aspect of playing the game. My team is great and members appreciate and help each other. It makes playing this game more enjoyable. So, overall, I give 5 stars.

Fairness quality. I’ve had my own run with quite a good share of 3 match games. I thought this game was good, and the interactions and stories to it are marvelous. But so for I’ve run into levels that just weren’t of good fairness quality. Despite the rewards you get for helping with the levels, the moves programmed into these particular levels like the super hard ones that virtually become un-doable I feel just aren’t enough. The reason I bring this up is because when having to deal with a certain vast quantity and variety of multi-layered objects and cover grass, it feels to me that I have to somehow generate a huge amount of combos and power-ups consistently which is rather spotty. It’s like it’s either “generate power-ups consistently or fail the level or unless you fork out tons of coins to beat the level” sort of thing. It sort of feels like once you get to those particular levels, the legitimacy of quality for fairness comes to an abrupt end. It’s not that I hate the game, it’s just that I’m rather disappointed with the aspect of the whole matter. I wish I could continue, but doing so would only end in fruitless attempts to do the impossible.

Levels need more moves. I like the story in this game, but, I do not like playing the same game board, 5 lives at a time for days and days. When you have to do that game board after game board, it gets quite monotonous. You forget where you are in the stoy, what you are trying to earn stars for and how many stars you need for the next task. I agree with someone who said you make us use stars for ridiculous, meanial things. I think adding more moves to the match 3 games would be the easiest solution to this problem. I play other match 3 games and none of them have such low number of moves as this game has. Also, it would be nice if at the end of a try on a match 3 board and you could use 900 coins to continue, you could see what you still need, to complete that board. I am going to have delete this game. I cannot spend money just because you designed your game so that you have to spend to win. I have other match 3 games that I can be successful in without spending boo coos of money.

Winners League Issues. I’ll start by saying I love this game. I’ve been playing faithfully every day for a while and love the storyline. However I finally reached level 3000 yesterday and then was told I’d played all available levels and it stuck me in a “Winner’s League Competition”. Which would be fine but I was halfway through the storyline and the games stopped giving me stars to complete the tasks. I hoped maybe once I finished the competition it would go back to giving me stars, but it didn’t. It just stuck me in another Winner’s League thing. How am I supposed to complete the story if I can’t get the stars to do it? It’s not like the story has run out, just the match 3 levels which makes no sense. I had just spent money to get more coins too and now there’s no point in using them. I don’t get why the Winner’s League can’t continue to give you stars so you can keep playing the story. Really disappointed.

Fun while it lasted. Game hooked me pretty quickly. Liked that it had a story to go along with the fairly standard 3-match game gameplay, which was fun. However, difficulty/impossibility ramps up pretty quickly (within the first 100 levels) to the point where I would I have to play the same level for weeks to win or shell out cash for the “gold pass” that gives you 5 extra moves on all levels for a month (where you will need to spend more money to renew the gold pass). In the end, storyline wasnt intriguing enough to get me to shell out cash. Also, irritating that all the minigames they show in the advertisements for the game (which is why I downloaded it), dont appear to actually be in the game.

Clearly about sales. First off the story mode they having going on is awesome I will give them that the only thing is it often wanders on the main story line and the stars you need are quite high. Along with anything else to do with story you need atleast 25 stars to complete anything really towards the story. They offer a side mission where you use energy to complete it but they are very greedy with the amount of energy needed to complete each part. I have bought the pass a couple of time and even bought gold in the past. But once you do that your just apart of the meal train it seems because there are days your stuck on a puzzle and if you want 5 extra moves it’s 900 gold then 1200 gold and so on. It takes for ever to save that up because you only get 50 for each frame you complete. And some frames are so difficult that it’s frustrating and not at all fun. I believe they do that so you spend more money. And don’t look for answers with customer service because it’s automated and the computer don’t care. I’ve given it a 3 stars out of 5 because it’s like it’s just about sales

Side games within the game. I love this game. It is one of the few match games that has kept my attention for some time. It’s mostly the storyline g that I like. However the side games, as much as I do like them it is impossible to do more than just complete it. There’s so much to the side games and to just complete the game and not even get close to getting a good chunk of the prizes is so disappointing. I’m currently working on The Exclusion Zone and you don’t accumulate enough energy to do more than pass the levels. You do provide the option of paying for energy but the cost for the little bit of energy isn’t worth it. 3.99 for 100 energy that is used for 3-4 moves or 8000 coins for 450 energy isn’t worth it. Even when the sale is there it isn’t worth the price you’re asking. I understand making the game challenging but at least be reasonable. This is my second side game and at first it had promise but now it’ll be just like the first, I’ll just finish and not be able to do more. Very disappointed

Could Have Been Great - But Misses The Mark Badly. I like the cute little mystery and the decorating part of the game. And I also enjoy hidden object and match 3 games in general. But here is the problem. The Match 3 levels get too difficult - really quickly. Many levels must be played over and over and over again just to get past them. To get 5 extra plays, it costs 900 coins and you can only earn 20 to 25 coins per level won. This means a player must win close to 40 Match 3 levels just to earn enough coins to get 5 extra turns ONE time. That is totally ridiculous! The boosters are not easily earned either, so I don’t want to use them. Of course, there is the option to buy coins to get extra turns. But there are too many difficult levels to start depending on coin purchases. A little bit about me…I love gaming! And I have no issue with spending a lot of money for gaming until I feel like a game is designed to set players up to fail. Just FYI Playrix, I do not like playing a level 10 times to get past it. It takes the joy out of the game for me. And when I feel constant frustration when I’m playing a game, I don’t spend my way out of it. I delete the game. But when I am really enjoying a game, I will happily make purchases in the game because I feel like game developers deserve to be paid. However, Mystery Matters feels like more of a money grab than entertainment, so it will soon be removed from my iPad.

Won’t Let Me Move On. I LOVE this game and play everyday and I’ve made quite a few purchases. I’m on level 575 and it keeps telling me there is 1 ring left and there are NO rings left on the board! I’ve played the level twice and it happened both times. I have lost a lot coins because I pay to play on for 5 more lives and nothing works. I even used the helicopters and they just land on random tiles because there is NO ring. Please help! I just deleted and reinstalled the game again I hope this works and I didn’t lose all my progress. To me this is a 5 star game but I’m only giving it 3 because if that. I’m VERY frustrated right now!

Just wants your money. The game was GREAT in the beginning! Drew me in because it’s a match game with a story line and mini games! Very unique and different! But then I got to a point in the game where it was almost impossible to beat even the simple levels without needing to spend money to take more turns, AND on top of that every other level is either a hard level or a super hard level so you loose that bundle of tools to help you win easier and you have less moves. It becomes impossible to win without constantly buying coins to take more moves. Plus if you lose too many times you fall behind in the endless airplane race. Just another game conned into stealing money from you by making what seems to be a very fun and unique game to turning it into a game that you’ll never win without spending you life savings

Pretty good…. I like the game in general, but I’m frustrated with the game mechanics very frequently. For example, I can be right next to an energy generator, but I can’t tap on it because I need to remove things that I can’t see. There’s not enough energy to play the game unless you spend money. Don’t the ads bring in enough money? I usually play the mini games, because the main game is very tedious and it’s difficult to pass the levels. I generally wait until I have enough free boosters accumulated to pass more difficult levels. The difficulty with game mechanics occurs in the mini games, which have limited time for completion. All in all, it’s a little frustrating. It could be such a fun game without these little hiccups.

This is such a good game. I’m not gonna make this super long. Just something short and sweet. This game is such a good game as soon as I downloaded it, it made me speechless. The graphics were amazing, the gameplay was so addictive, and the puzzles and mini games were so much fun. The only bad thing about it was it said a couple bad words here and there. But that’s just my opinion. I love this game. I would like to compare it to Homescapes. Homescapes is just like this game but in the matching game it doesn’t help you that much. In Mystery Matters it tries to help you out as much as it can. It’s so fun and I think you should try out Mystery Matters.

Same old, same old.... Just like every other game out there. It gives you a ton of freebies until they take it all away and demand money to advance. You need real money to keep going as it turns into an energy game really quick. I don't know why the police detective is in a cave, but I really hate this level. You break an energy crate and get maybe 5 energy, but it costs like 10-15 energy to break objects in order to advance. I play about 5 minutes before I have to quit because I will NEVER spend money on these games. I want to go back to the mansion because that's when it was fun. I hate these games where you have to break boxes, get mail, and plant grass all in the same level, without powerups, which makes it impossible to complete, and they give you very little moves. In the early part of the game, just like every other game like this, they give you a good amount of moves, but as the game advances you only get a few moves and no powerups or assistance so you have to go through your coins and, of course, when those are gone, you are told to pay real money to keep going. Nope! So I'm just deleting the game because I cannot advance anymore and it's no longer fun but a pay to play game. I should have learned from my mistake a long time ago with these greedy developer games, but I fell for it again. Oh well, at least I can delete it and never play it again and blackball the developer.

Awesome game but... Let me first say the amount of money I have spent on this game is ridiculous, but I’m obsessed. The only downside is obviously the higher levels you go the more amount of stars you have to spend to decorate something or open something or unlock something and like I said I’m obsessed but it seems like once you finish a hard level or super hard level you get maybe two easy levels after that and then again it’s another hard or super hard level so that can be kind of annoying. Other than that I would say 75% of my time is spent playing this game.

Playrix has another winner on their hands!. I love the whole scapes series but y’all have really outdone yourselves this time. The combination of match 3, puzzle, image search, etc; ROCKS!! I'm on level 2600 and I've noticed that the powerups are not performing the same as before. I.E. I had one piece left to remove from the board with one move left at which point I activated a helicopter power up which in earlier levels would have taken out the last piece automatically. On a separate occasion I combined a lightning and a helicopter which created multiple helicopters that all targeted a single piece instead of separate targets. Is this normal?

Great game until….. When I downloaded this game, I really liked it. I was breezing through the levels and had plenty of stars. Now, I am at level 120, and I have been stuck on that level for 5 days. 5. Days. I have used up all my power ups, I am 2 stars below what I need to be to progress the story, and I don’t have nearly enough coins to give myself another 5 lives. This is because the levels don’t give you enough moves to beat them, so sometimes you are sort of forced to use power ups. I have been trying for five whole days to beat level 120, but it is impossible with the situation I’m in. Of course, I will never be making in app purchases for this game, so I feel like there is basically nothing I can do. It’s so frustrating and I literally only need two more moves in that level to just move on. I cannot progress through the story anymore because of the level difficulty.

Support is pretty much nonexistent. I sent this to support: I was in the middle of a level and had spent 900 coins on 5 extra turns. I had also spent coins on hammers and shuffles when the game shut down. When I reopened the game, I lost all the coins I spent, no longer had the extra hammers and shuffles, had to start the level over and also lost my extra help from the winners circle. I have spent over $80 dollars on this game this weekend and do not feel I should have to repay for what I lost because the game shut down in the middle of a level All I got in return was questions that were answered in my original message. They didn’t respond until the next day (not a problem). But only gave me a few hours to respond and closed the issue. Granted that would not have been a problem if it notified me that they responded. The conversation was in the settings and didn’t even have any indication that there was a response. I will not spend another dollar on this game since you basically stole the money I did put into it

Beyond Irritated.. I’ve been playing this game for a year or so now. I got up into the 700 levels, and I began getting irritated around the 600 levels. I thought this game was different. With other match 3 games, you hit a massive wall where you’re stuck on levels for days, WEEKS, without advancing. And while I’d hit a level here and there where I’d get stuck for a while, it wasn’t anything like the other games. Until I hit the 600s, and even worse, the 700s. At this point I adore the story line and characters and would love to keep going, but I am legitimately about to delete this game off of my phone. I’ve been stuck on a level for over a week, and it’s not even a hard level! There’s just too many objectives shoved into the level and not nearly enough moves. I feel like I have to pay to either get 5 more moves or pay for more power ups. It’s getting ridiculous. I was always impressed with the amount of times you get unlimited lives, or free power ups. The amount of events makes this SUPER easy. But what’s the point if I’m getting stuck on every single level, and using every single minute of unlimited lives or every single power up on said levels? The higher up levels need to be re-evaluated. I should not take 5-100 times on every single freaking level to beat it.

One of the best mystery games in the world. OK if you’re looking for a mystery game, I think I have found one of the best mystery games out there because this game takes my mind off of everything else going on and this game is so much fun and so interactive. I Think I have come to my new gaming place because not only is this probably one of the best games are there to play but this game is so amazing. I can ask for a better game to play so to all the people. Game shuts down in the middle of play. I LOVE THIS GAME! The story line is what has kept me engaged as it is soap opera material. The only issue is that periodically the game would shut down during actual game play, especially when I had all power ups and a super rainbow ball. When opening the game back up, my power ups and rainbow ball would be gone. After the recent upgrade, at the end of April 2025, the game shuts down every few minutes during play. It does not happen while playing the event section of the game, and never has, but as soon as I try to play actual levels, the game shuts down. This has caused extreme frustration as I want to play the game and am on an active team where we help each other out often. I usually do not write reviews (good or bad) but am hoping this can reach the developers for a solution.

Expensive game to play. You get about 20 hours of gameplay before it gets ridiculously hard. No way to win levels without spending money. Very few opportunities for freebies and coins. If you do decide to spend money, the game will make you lose it very quickly. Levels will get just close, but not a win without using up your purchases quickly. I like the Playrix games. It’s the reason I tried this one. They are well written and fun to play. I Currently have 2 of their other games that I do spend money on when I need to. But this one is frustrating beyond belief and feels like a total rip off. Which is disappointing because it looks like it would be a fun storyline and game. I would not recommend this game to anyone. Very unfair, even if you spend money.

I’m Stubborn I Guess. I loved this game and so I quit it because it got too hard to play and I didn’t want to spend too much money getting swept up in it. But I went back because it IS a fun game. I spend a little money on it, then I play the same level over and over and over until I get sick of it and go play something else for awhile. Then, I come back and play until I eventually get through the level. I wish this was just a little easier to play. Eventually I suppose I will quit for good, but it’s a shame because the little mini games are such fun and the story is great. I can tell people put a lot of solid work into making this a really good game. But I’m sorry but I just can’t afford to be spending even $20 a month on phone games. If I could, this would be one of my top picks, but it would be after the wonderful games I play that don’t make it so I HAVE to spend money to get through levels. Out of gratitude, they get the lion’s share of my game-playing budget.

Fun but becomes impossible. This game is very fun. The story line is interesting and it has a mix of some hidden object and color match. I did purchase a couple of $1.99 packs when I first started when I realized how much I liked it. However, I’ve now reached a level that is absolutely impossible to beat without spending money to use power ups. It’s incredibly frustrating because I do enjoy the game. I’m just not spending an exorbitant amount of money to play it. It’s not worth getting involved with playing because it becomes so ridiculously hard that you can’t finish it without spending a decent amount of money to push through.

Great game, terrible customer support. I recently have had a glitch in the game where it stops me on a level and nothing shows up on the screen except the background image. I have deleted and redownloaded the game but that hasn’t changed anything. I reached out to customer service and have been bounced from person to person for a week now. They all say the same thing about creating a ticket in the game and I explain that the game won’t let me as it says it can’t track my progress. I was at least on level 200 so how has it not tracked my progress yet?!? The customer service is awful for this game and I really liked it because of the variety of puzzles and such. Unfortunately I will have to delete it since no one can help me figure out the issue.

Winner’s League. Stupidest idea they’ve ever thought of. Ima huge fan and I’m on level 3000 something. They decided to do a 8 day (or however many days it was) Winners League and a couple reasons why it’s stupid because when we win the level we do not get stars to continue the story mode, we get trophies the win a ultimate prize if you even make it in the top 10, and when it introduced it I exited out the ad because I didn’t want to join but it still put me in the competition anyways. So now I gotta wait 4 more days for this competition to end so I can start back winnin stars which is actually what the game is about because it’s what we need to finish the stories 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

Mystery Matters. This is my second favorite game, but the game is so greedy. The match three part of it which you have to play to do anything cheers. You can’t use strategy because you make combinations that just dont appear. You play the hard levels over and over again. It gets so boring. The game makes you use all your coin to get out of the hard levels and use all your tools. So when you have neither anymore it wants you to buy. Even if you do purchase once a month it isn’t enough. If the match three didn’t cheat you and try to make you purchase coins to get out of a level this would be a top notch game. But it’s so greedy. Even greedy on giving tools. As much as I love this game it might be to greedy and too boring on the match 3 part of it, it may make me delete this app. The other two parts of this game are fun and exciting, which is why I’m still here but you have to constantly play the match 3 to do anything which would be great if the game didn’t cheat. So how many days do you have to play the same super hard levels before the algorithm decides to give it to you then you can’t loose if you try. I will tell you many days playing several times a day. It’s just greed! And boring.

I agree with Yek_. I totally agree with the first comment. The game story is pretty boring but matching three & it’s really easy to do while watching commercials. So for me testing it isn’t as bad as I first thought. Loads of match 3 aren't as entertaining as this. This isn’t the best. Anyways I like the graphics of it all. Kinda puts you in the story so that peaked my curiosity further. Meeting all the people & the light up ghost that scared her. That could’ve went a few ways seeing that ghost well not ghost. Any hoot . It’s also a game the whole family can pass time with. I gotta get back to the mystery. So hopefully I will find out what it is. :)

Game is too hard! Not worth it.. (2nd Review) Not only this game is beyond difficult, you also dont get your rewards when you win a tournament. My team was in first place many times and nobody got their winning prices. Ive been stuck on the same level for over a week. You would think developers will want people to play this game but its glitchy, extremely difficult (not challenging just very very hard) and im done with this game. Im just like everyone else here leaving the same feedback, but its true. The game has a great storyline and graphics, but unfortunately it becomes nearly impossible to win without you having to spend real money. I despise developers who make their games so difficult that you have no choice but to spend money on it all the time. This company, all of their games are the same. Homescpaes and the other ones are just as hard. They barely give you enough moves to even make it through half the round. Its just simply not fun or enjoyable at that point. I get it that you have to make money to keep up with the game updates but there are other ways. Maybe give us optional ads for extra moves or hearts. But giving you 16 moves on a extremely hard level that you get stuck for days or weeks its not fun or enjoyable. Good Bye!

Crashes and is not playable. I was in the middle of playing - probably had been playing an hour and a half. Saw the flash sale was going to end in a few minutes so I purchased it… the screen crashed back to my Home Screen. Then the little screen pops up saying my payment was successful. Open game again starts to load up but then crashes again . This repeated a couple more times - sent a question to them. Updated my iPad to latest then tried again, nope. I uninstalled the game and restarted the iPad - opened game again and it seemed like it went a little longer in loading up but No it crashed. So if I cannot play this game anymore I would like the 2.99 back. Bummer though because I was enjoying it’s mindless fun

Progressively harder. I’m somewhat new and only on level 245. At first I thought it would be my favorite game. The finding items games are not timed, the match 3 games “were” pretty easy, and the storyline is really interesting. Now, the levels are so hard, there is no opportunity to earn coins if you are stuck on a level, and the amount of stars needed for some tasks are ridiculous. 17 stars needed when you only earn three at the basic level? Also, they have you do some unneeded tasks that have nothing to do with the story or decorating which is wasteful. Lastly, I was stuck on level 244 forever, and there is no way to earn coins or boosters without purchasing with money. My suggestions for this game -It would be better if they offered a video to watch to earn coins, reduce the number of coins needed for tasks, and somehow let you repeat the dialogue that shows up on the screen as sometimes I’m not sure when they are going to continue to say something and I miss it if I go to play the games. Not sure if I’m going to continue..

Main Game Great, Side Game Not So Much. Ok, I am on level 977, so I’ve been playing for a while. I’m on my second storyline. The first was quite fun (except the officer with the donuts is irritating) This second storyline has a character that is so incredibly irritating that I’m telling her to shut up. She’s even worse than the donut cop. The actual game play is HARD but satisfying. You also need to be rich. Coins don’t go very far. As for the side game…I think the only reason you have one is to get more money out of us. The characters need to travel from point A to B, except they are sent in the opposite direction, around a mountain or two, THEN finally get to their destination which was maybe 3 paces to the left of the original starting point. Bottom line the once fun game has turned into a Money Pit. I cannot play much longer. Bummer.

Lives counted per level. The reason why I rated this app three stars is that the lives are only five. It should be more and I don’t think you should lose a life for each level that you don’t beat there should be a second chance my suggestion your developers the second chance will be and I quote that in case players don’t beat a level they can still complete the task with the limited amount of stars that they have by an option complete the task without needing any stars or get a percentage off the matter of stars needed to complete the task. I think everyone deserves a second chance especially players of the games love sincerely Maddie 2212

Fun game play with one exception.. This game is fun, the graphics are vibrant, the story line engaging. It’s refreshing that the game involves various game components and does not rely on a single set of game mechanics. However. When I finally managed to drag myself through the maze, doubling back multiple times searching for minute game pieces, I was astounded, pole-axed, disappointed to learn I had to work through the maze again to earn the “reward”. WHAT?!!! It is as if the game developers considered all my previous effort, my struggle, my very life’s blood spent in pursuit of victory mattered not one whit to them. I took it off my phone.

Still FAKE. I don’t know why everyone keeps advertising the mini games, especially when you hardly EVER get them & they don’t make sense or are different when you do get them. The game is matching shapes just like a crappier version of Candy Crush , that Kingdom one always advertised & all those house decorating ones, etc. Why can’t the ads be correct? I deleted it as soon as I saw that stupid matching stuff but I can give them credit for one thing, after being excited because it said it was the real games shown I was actually excited for a game to download for once in a long time (they aren’t what they say, to many advertisements, money to get anywhere, etc. game after game) it was a HUGE letdown. Now I do my research first, read about it, look at all the pictures (if I see one set of fruit matching rows or whatever picture I’m out instantly) read the reviews and sometimes even google about it because I don’t want any of the liars to get that extra download count credit. That’s why they lie! They make money on how many downloads they get , doesn’t even necessarily matter how long it’s kept just that it was downloaded so basically it’s clickbait!

Given up on game... Big fan of other Playrix games but have reluctantly given up on this one after playing it for three or four months. Frankly, it seems to be the only way you can move forward after a certain point is to purchase additional coins or whatever. I thrive on challenging puzzles, but I’ve been playing some of the super hard challenges now for five/ six days without moving forward and have finally just given up. Doesn’t seem to develop at a reasonable pace and I’ve got other ways to spend my time. Too bad. Had enormous potential but about to delete it.

Starts great but…. Loved this game at FIRST. Along with the storyline. Which is the only reason I’m leaving 2 stars. For a match game it was absolutely reasonable on the every now and again hard levels and fun to play. Once you get to a certain point, you have to start spending money.. It’s just hard level, “ easy bonus level”, then super hard level back to back. They do give you gifts for 10-30 minutes, 45 minutes-2 or three hours unlimited life.. again… great at first. But you’ll spend 95% of it on the hard/super hard levels. Let me add I love puzzle games.. this one is a money grab. But if you’re someone that likes to play a game for a short time, the beginning is great!

GAMER👧🏽 GIRL-it’s not THAT long you can read it all. I didn’t know what exactly to expect when I first downloaded the game. I read it featured match 3 levels with mini games and that caught my attention. That was several months ago now and I’ve played it everyday since. Literally everyday. I have never gotten to level 1000 on any previous games I’ve played thru out my lifetime! I really liked how I was rewarded for reaching level 1000-too cool! Im still playing strong and currently am on level 1656. Some levels are super hard to beat but I keep at it so eventually I get it. They don’t pressure you TOO much like other games do to 💲spend💲spend 💲spend your money. I recommend you try this game NOW, it’s a good one!

Fun game, but definitely designed to make you spend.. One thing that really annoys me is when a game feels like it’s forcing you to spend money to advance. Mystery Matters is one such game. It started out great. I love the story and puzzle aspects of the game, but now as I’m approaching level 100, my progress is quickly diminishing. The match 3 levels are becoming extremely difficult, even “normal” levels. The number of moves provided for some levels is so ridiculously low it can’t help but make me shake my head and laugh. I do enjoy the hidden item levels. There should be more of those and less match 3. I can understand wanting players to spend, but things could be a little more fair for F2P players as well. Yet again I’m waiting on my lives to regenerate. My desire to continue playing is fading fast. This game may just end up in the deleted pile with so many others I’ve tried.

Their ads lie and the game is nothing like the ads. The ads are a big lie. They claim they don’t lie in their ads and that they’re not like other games when in reality, that’s not true. The ads show you will be helping a single mother and her child get out of poverty, the cold and helping her against her toxic ex husband and his new girl. Basically doing new things that stop them from being cold, etc. However, as soon as you download the game it loses everything it says in the ads and becomes a bootleg royal match, candy crush, garden scapes game. And just like royal match, their ads act as if you’ll be helping the MC only to start fixing their house by doing match tiles b.s. The art style is cozy, which I love, the characters are okay, a little cheesy but not too boring. The story is fast paced but cool if you like a simple story that’s just there. I haven’t made it to any hard levels because I’m done and don’t want to play a game that lies in their ads. So far, it seems easier than some tile match games but don’t take my word for it. Overall, there should be some kind of penalty for companies to lie in their ads the way they do. If you’re going to be greedy and desperate, at least tell the truth in your ads, you’ll earn more fans that way.

Great game, annoyed with bug. Lots of fun elements, I really enjoy the characters and storytelling. Increase in difficulty seems appropriate so far. Annoyed with the event “Carnival of Fear” because I have gotten to the last part of the last chapter to arrest the criminal and there is a bug that makes the background not load correctly and I cannot place the handcuffs on the criminal, therefore unable to finish the event and receive the reward. The chat bot is useless for customer service and there seems to be no clear way to report the bug and get help. If it were not for that, I would have rated it five stars.

Entertaining but costly…. Edit: Doing an update to reduce my rating to 2 stars!! This has gotten ridiculous. I’m at level 245. If you aren’t willing(or able) to buy coins to quicken your advance, you will have to play each puzzle repeatedly to get stars to complete the storyline. And I have bought coins but no more. I just noticed today that, while I’ve been able to refill up to 8 lives at a time since some time during the first 50 levels, I’ve been reduced to 5 lives max at a time but I’ll get moved back up to 8 lives for subscribing to a gold delivery. RIPOFF!! At this point, I’m ready to leave Johanna kidnapped. I’m surely not buying any more coins. The game is somewhat entertaining but it will cost either money or patience and time. You can make it through the first 100 levels relatively easily. But once you go over that the puzzles become exponentially more difficult. What was considered “hard” puzzles become the norm and hard and super hard puzzles are almost impossible without buying coins or waiting for daily rewards to give you enough coins to get help progressing.

this is by far my favorite match 3/decoration game- BUT. like said in the title i am obsessed with this game. the sounds, the art, the designing portion. the ONLY negative thing about it, is the fact that once you progress more and more to a certain point of the story, you get less and less design options. you don’t even get any choices to choose from anymore and it really makes me sad, since getting to choose which design i liked best is one of my favorite things to do in games like this. please give us design options back later in the story 😅 seems like they’re completely taken away the more you progress. and it kinda ruins the experience for me 😕

Decent Game. I enjoy matching games up until they start throwing really hard levels at you back to back so you spend money. This game is no exception. The story line is decent and I do like that they mix up the levels. You get to play matching but also finding hidden objects. What I don’t like, is having to play the same level 20-30 times because it’s “super difficult”. I’m not going to buy coins to get that *one* more move I need to beat the game. I work long days and the last thing I want to do at night is get stuck on the same level over and over and over again. It’s a bit frustrating that you can’t move on with the story until you beat several levels, especially when I’ve gotten stuck numerous times back to back. For a matching game, it’s about like the rest of them. The storyline is better and I like that you actually do get to play several types of games. But I probably won’t make it all the way through the game because I’m not willing to spend any money to move forward. Just annoying.

Spooky. Tried to smash objects to clear a path on the spooky detective mini games but nothing happens please fix the bug

MONEY PIT. I am up to level 1756. I have paid money to get to this level but now the game is actually cheating. I make moves to get power ups and they don’t appear. I had one piece to get rid of and one more move. I used a power up and instead of going to that piece it played a random square. It was a super hard level and I lost. It then took me five more days to pass that level. I am now deleting this game. I can’t AFFORD to play it any longer. It was a great game but it seems they just want you to spend money to get any further.

Don’t misunderstand it is good but…. The advertisement said “Don't you hate all those games that don’t look like the advertisement? Well this game is exactly like this!” Spoiler alert they were just showing the mini games from Gardenscapes. This game is decent. I spent an hour playing it before deciding to write this. They didn’t need to use false advertising. But they did anyway. And that’s what really annoys me.

Add just like the game. Say your add that says what you see here is exactly what you will play. So with that in mind I downloaded it…………..nothing like the add I have not seen one thing from the add in the game?!!! What gives…………!

Failed attempt. I would have given this 5 stars, except when you fail an attempt I like to see how I finished, at least what the unfinished score is. I do like the variety of the puzzles.

Too hard. I’ve only recently started this game and am only at level 89. Have really enjoyed the mini games and puzzles but the levels are just getting too hard. This level has only 16 moves to solve 66 “objects”. Within those 66, the 6 safes each take 5 moves, the cameras each take 3 and then you have to form over 50 blocks of grass. All with only 16 moves. Too hard.

Gets harder and too expensive.. As much as I love the storyline and the puzzles once you hit a certain level it becomes impossible to get through the super hard or even just the hard level without spending a ton of money. Spent too much on it already so will be deleting the game

Pay to play is a rip off. I was enjoying this game at first but very, very quickly it has become impossible to beat the match tile levels without having to pay for boosters and extra lives. This game is not special or unique - there are hundreds of games just like it out there. So if I’m being forced to pay to play so early there’s really no incentive at all to keep going with it. A Real Surprise!. This game is streets ahead of most other games I have played! I’m really enjoying the variety of puzzles; not only do you have merge grids, but also puzzles where you have to piece together items, plus find-the-difference puzzles, and observation puzzles. Not only that, you also have to renovate the crumbling mansion, as well as solving kidnappings (and perhaps even murders — who knows?) 🧐And just who is the mysterious hooded figure who seemingly vanishes into thin air? If you are looking for a game that is challenging (but not too frustratingly difficult), a game where you have to think, and use logic, then this is The One! Highly recommended!

Ok. I’m a bit disappointed that it’s pretty much just candy crush and not many mini games. It would be great if you could skip the candy crush and have more mini games. Otherwise fun.

So they rip you off. So I clicked on $2.99 coin top up and they charged me over $140. I got it back through the App Store but it wasn’t the first time. $40 here and there. Don’t mind the game but be prepared to play the harder levels for weeks because I suggest not buying any top ups. They totally scam you.

A Great Game BUT. I loved this game and brought the extra lives to play only to discover half way in the month, I’ve reached the end of there games and in the Winners League. You can’t earn stars to move on in the game and I’m in the middle of solving a senario. How ridiculous, taking your money and then telling you oops, we haven’t anymore games to play.

Glitch on level so you can’t progress. There is a glitch on a level and you can’t progress so don’t waste your money to try to pass it or on the golden ticket because you will be stuck on the level until they decide to update the game. Waste of money!

Great story. Fabulous story, fantastic fun interactive game- but I find it extremely disappointing that unless I pour a lot of money into it- I can’t get beyond level 507. I have reached my Waterloo- I am not spending any more money unless I get up a few more levels without spending money- I have been stuck on 508 for 5 days, even if I pour a pile of money in, I don’t know if I will pass this level- will have to find another game.

Entertaining and captivating.. I installed this from one of their ads, and I haven’t been able to put it down. The storyline is great, and the various mini games and events are just as depicted in the advertising. One to keep playing for sure.

Levels too hard to beat.. Been stuck on level 157 for 6 days now. I was enjoying this game and want to make progress but can’t because the levels can only be beaten if you pay for extra moves. Please make the levels a bit easier so I don’t lose interest

False. Downloaded this game because of the advertisement stating it only had the puzzle segments. Entertaining game. My daughter told me about this game so I downloaded it but didn’t play it. However yesterday was raining so I thought I’d look at it. I love it. It certainly “gets you in” from the very beginning!

Support non existent. Love the game. The story is great and keeps going. A lot of thought has gone into this game. And in fairness it has taken me till level 1200 + to work out support doesnt help. No need to join a team which is awesome and no need to spend again awesome. However i have frozen in an event and no support.

Rubbish!!. Games seized up when she found Joanna’s picture in the cellar. “Skip” doesn’t work. Rebooting my iPad doesn’t work. Deleting the gane and re-installing it doesn’t work.

So glitchy. I cannot tell you how many times things stop working in this. I’ve had to delete the app, restart my phone & reinstall the app so many times, it’s really annoying now. The next time something stops working, I’ll delete & won’t bother reinstalling.

Interesting story but …... This starts out really well. It gets quite hard quite quickly though and there are too many ‘super hard’ levels needing money spent or days and days of patience. The tasks need more and more points to achieve but the rewards for meeting the levels stay at the same low rate. Silly tasks hold up the story line. I’m at Level 583 but won’t be playing anymore after I use the last of my tools. The number of attempts allowed is ridiculously low. I’ve been on this level for five days but have had enough. Fun while it lasted and would have like to continue ……..

Good but buggy and repetitive. This game is good but you quickly run out of levels to get stars on so you can’t advance the story. This means it gets quite repetitive and dull. The latest event has stopped working with the latest update which is annoying as well and there doesn’t seem to be a fix for it.

I’m addicted!. Every other game I’ve played has either been a match 3 game with lame decorations or the hidden puzzle kind . Boring and redundant. I love how this game has a little of everything. Frustrated. Fun and relaxing most times but getting hard and super hard levels so often is annoying especially when you are in an event where you need to get through the levels. Having made moves to get power ups or use 2 together and not getting it is what did me in. Happened at least once every other level making me miss that level by 1-2 moves. The story lines are good but I cannot carry on with it when the game glitches and hoops you.

Amazing game!. No adds, great logic, interesting story. I like that you get a bit of variety in the games - while it’s mostly a matching game, you have the odd pull the pin, hidden object, puzzle, etc. types of games. I also like that, while it costs stars to do things, they add up fast. And the side quests that use energy are also pretty balanced. Only thing is that if you need to buy energy or coins, that’s pretty expensive. But honestly, you can play without having to spend anything.

A so-so “puzzle oriented” mystery game, except…. There are some nice puzzles you have to solve to move the story forward. But very quickly (within 20 -30 minutes of play), each fun puzzle is thereafter locked behind a version of the much-copied “bauble-matching-with-bombs-and-whatnot” minigames you find in other pay-to-play games. Only these are more frequent and jarring as they interrupt (rather than compliment) the game - and the difficulty increases rapidly to the point where you’re spending a much larger portion of the game, repetitively losing more and more increasingly boring mini-games, just to get to see the next three minute scene, and maybe —just maybe; you might get one of the puzzles that made you interested in the game in the first place. That’s my take. It was .. fun (ish) for about half an hour. I already deleted it, but was so annoyed by the mini-games ruining what could have otherwise been an “okay” game that I came here to give it an honest review.

The puzzle levels sometimes take 20+ attempts to solve, then I swear it just suddenly gives you the win so you’ll keep playing. I understand that developers want to make us buy extra lives and boosters, but I won’t when it’s obvious that it’s just going to eat up money and get me nowhere in the story

False advertising. They ran an ad that addressed how annoying it is when games falsely advertise, while falsely advertising this game. I wouldn’t have written a negative review normally. But this really is a new level of 🤯.

I love this game very much. I am so excited for the new game that it came on 2023. And the game is so much fun there are no ads like the other games have too many ads for those games to get more ads but not this one! It’s just so much fun 🤩 and the gameplay feels like it was a lot of fun 🤩 so excited 😆 that plays the main storyline! I hope you enjoy the game and the game is fun to watch many cutscenes for the main storyline! I’m so happy 😁 for the game and for the game itself it was so fun to play the game .and the game was so enjoyable to play and the game is so much fun 🤩 great job guys

Glitch. I open the game it loads then closes right up. Can’t play it. As it won’t stay open.

Won’t load. The game won’t even load. What a waste of time.

Glitch?. Is there a glitch in level 575? I keep playing and using coins to complete but it will not check off that all rings have been collected. Unable to complete the level even though the board is all cleared.

Better, but still stingy. Like many Playrix games, the sheer amount of hard and very hard puzzles are daunting and use up a lot of your power ups to beat them. Which causes you to lose coins fast buying an extra 5 moves or purchasing more in game power ups. The graphics are good, the storyline is very corny and the jokes are just not funny at all. The good thing they improved on is the hidden object puzzles. The elimination of a timer like most other similar search games is a welcome change. But the match puzzles have way to many hard and very hard levels making it hard to advance in the MANY MANY events they keep throwing at you hoping you will pay real money to rank high enough to get any reward. Not worth playing with the obvious money grabs and sad story writing.

Review. Not at all as advertised even though the add shows it’s all about mini games, but very entertaining nonetheless.

Glitch much?. Every time there’s a new update the app is glitchy for a week. I can’t even load the game as it kicks me out every time I try to close a popup. Fun game but do better.

Terribly addictive. I’m on level 548 and haven’t spent a dime. There are tons of opportunities to get free time and free boosters. I should probably delete the app, though, because I can’t stop playing. There is a bug in level 548 - the board is clear, but it’s telling me I have one vial left. Hope they can fix this soon, though maybe this is a good chance for me to take a break :)

Ok but trying to take your money. The game is a three match where you go through the story line to ‘solve’ the mystery. The extra puzzles are simple and easily solved. Higher levels are designed to entice you to spend money on coins to complete the level with more turns. Some times the game cheats and doesn’t create the bomb you are trying to create or doesn’t recognize that all the elements of the level were achieved. It’s fine if you can wait to satisfy the level through many repetitions or you want to spend a lot of money on coins.

Fix bug. Please fix bigs Level 575 is literally impossible. Ive “finished” the level twice but it said i missed 3 rings when there were none left on the board. It happened twice and it sucks cause I like the game but can continue the story if i dont go forward on this level

Glitch. I’ve hit a glitch in the game. How do I fix this? Gets stuck in a story mode, won’t let me skip through the conversation.

False advertising. Saw an ad on another game stating it was exactly as advertised (unlike other games) l, however it was nothing like its advertisement. Deleted immediately.

TOTALLY FALSE ADVERTISING AGAIN!!. The ad puzzles were completely different from the game that downloaded. Why can’t these game producers give you the game that they advertise?

Lies. They said in the ad are you tired of games not giving you what they show in the ad well this one does. Hell no! I got to level 50 and didn’t play 1 level that was like what they showed. If you see the ad for this it isn’t what you are going to get

Lies as usual. Downloaded this because the ad seemed like a lie and totally was. The ad never shows a matching game, which is what this is. Another match 3 game that lies in the ads and leads you to believe it won’t be the same as every other.

Fun at the beginning. Game fun at the beginning but when there is super hard puzzles that take a week to get through it sucks the fun out Too bad I was really enjoying the game but I am deleting it as I cannot get through the puzzle and it’s not worth getting that frustrated

Hope you’re patient!. I’m on level 700 and still haven’t completed the first story. I wanted a solution days and dollars ago and I’m not sure I’m not going to just delete it rather than continuing on a never ending story. It’s too frustrating to have to do so much work just to find out you need to solve this mystery before you can solve that mystery and it goes on forever. I’m bored and feel like I’m just spinning my wheels. I liked it at first but it’s so frustrating, I just deleted it.

Non responsive tech support. I’ve played several Playrix games, Gardenscapes, Homescapes, etc. I’ve really enjoyed, for the most part, playing Manor Matters. It has match 3 boards interspersed with hidden object boards. So I thought Mystery Manners would also be fun, so I downloaded it. I can’t play. The game closes as soon as it finishes loading. Did all the usual, rebooted, checked for updates, deleted and reinstalled, nothing worked. Contacted tech support and received an auto-reply. It’s a week later and no other response from them. Game still won’t work. Tech support is vital to players and unreliable or nonexistent support is unforgivable, given they want money, need money to continue. I certainly cannot spend the occasional dollar or two if the d@mn thing won’t load. And it moves me to resolve to not spend another dime on the other Playrix games. I guess end of era of sorts for me and Playrix; I’m off to find suitable replacements. Shame on ya Playrix. Players deserve better.

Potential BUT to many glitches. This game is really cool and is really fun. Ive been playing for a couple of months and have spent a few hundred dollars on in app purchases because I was enjoying it. However, after paying more attention I have noticed multiple times that the game has glitched and is basically stealing my money without any return. I’m disappointed and unfortunately can’t recommend this game until all the glitches have been resolved. Do not waste your money like me.

Like royal match but harder to beat. At first the matching games are easy . The farther you progress you will have to spend money on chips . The helps practically useless at the start of a new match game . Then to top it off their are levels almost impossible to pass . I really enjoyed this game at first but I am deleting it . It’s like all games, you get to a certain level then it’s hard to pass . Guess you should just play the game till it gets hard ,delete it , then move on . It’s like playing huuge casino. Why won’t they show my feedback . Makes me wonder how many more they don’t show

Stuck in Winners League. Love the game but I’m stuck on the winners league page and my stars are not increasing so I can’t move forward. I can’t get out of this league either. In the winner’s league you cannot advance in the game until the league ends. I waited a week until the last league ended, then a new one started immediately for 15 days so I guess I won’t be playing until after the new year. I will have to find another game to play!

Loved this game until it got stuck. Played this game all the time. It was great! No unwanted ads, fun games, great storyline. Then it got stuck on a part and I couldn't get it to advance no matter what I did (restart app, restart phone, delete app, etc.) It wasn't even like it was a hard level I was stuck on. It was a random section of the story line where I needed to push "skip" or watch the little video. It never loaded and the skip button never worked. So sadly, I guess I am done playing this game now. :(

My team won but no prizes!. I am the team leader of a team and we won the last regatta challenge but did not get any prizes. The customer service is terrible! You have to deal with a stupid bot that doesn’t have any answers and no help at all! You can’t get a hold of a person when there’s an issue. Worst customer service in the world! Plus, like many match three games it was really fun at first but then you get to levels that are impossible to pass unless you spend money. Very annoying. They give you so few moves to pass certain levels, so by being greedy they lose more players.

Game crashes but it was fun when I could play. I really enjoyed this game to be honest. I enjoy the story of this a lot more than their other game series. It’s still a matching game but I enjoy the puzzle and the mystery. The only problem I’m having is I haven’t been able to play in the last week because as soon as I open it, it crashes, I’ve tried all the regular troubleshooting steps, but I’m getting nowhere. Can someone please take a look at it? What’s causing this game to crash on certain devices? Thanks in advance!

Enjoyable but too many hard levels. Not a game to play if you want to relax. I love the game, but less than 500 levels in, way too many levels that use boosters and lives. Many other games I play give you more opportunities to get lives and boosters. Since I have only been playing about a month, I cannot build up either. I will try for another few weeks, but if I have to purchase to have fun, I will delete.

Another money grab. Don’t give this game 5 stars, raise your standards, guys! This game is fun until about level 100 when it becomes a money grab. Delete it once you get there, don’t get sucked into wasting your time grinding and grinding to beat a level. What have we become in this world that a game like this has to cost so much money to win? It’s so gross. It’s like the most basic dumb gameplay ever. I’d happily pay $5-$10 and just get the game and play it, but that’s not how these guys make their money. It’s a stupid game, just admit it to yourself, it’s brain numbing for a little but ultimately what a stupid game to pay money for. Boo.

Wow!!. When i downloaded this game i expected it to be like every other matching game. I will tell ya i was wrong i love the way they made this game, its very interactive and the story is great! And the best part all of the levels are not the same! You can create a group and just have a good time. I am very glad they made this game!! Definitely download it you will not be disappointed!!

I used to enjoy it, but now … BORING!!!. I just downloaded this app yesterday. I really like it, but as you progress it gets harder and harder to not spend a lot of money. You reach a point where you’re tired of having to pay to go on. I know they need to make money, but there’s a fine line between that and out right greed! I’ve deleted games (some from this company) I liked before for that reason. We’ll see … Silly me. I kept playing. The game could be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, as you advance it gets boring because in order to advance you have to pay $$$. Not only that, but they’ve now decreased the number of lives you can have. It was 8, now it’s only 5. GREEEEEED!

It should be 4 stars but…. This game is so hard at some points, and while I understand they’re supposed to be the more you progress, the level I am stuck on is virtually impossible to beat without forking over tons of cash that I don’t have. I’ve used all the powerups I could, even extra moves, but level 174 is just impossible to beat. Please make gameplay more fair in this game and I’ll consider changing my review :)

Game Crashes. I love this game as it is pretty much a combination of the Nancy Drew HerInteractive games and Indiana Jones!! I just downloaded this game yesterday and it’s just been amazing. However, when I opened it today to play it, it crashes. I tried reinstalling it but still the same problem. If the developers could fix this, that would be great!!

I’d like to give it 5 stars, but…. This is my favorite game, but I keep missing days of playing because the Winner’s League event fails to appear when I finish all the available levels. Writing to them didn’t work. I wish they would fix this problem, or at least keep the chat open long enough for responses to go back and forth. I’m not a chatbot. I can’t stay up all night watching for their answers to my questions!

Stop making the game about money.. The games mystery, design and intrigue are a plus, draws you in. Very creative idea. But then you quickly run into some fairly difficult levels, run out of supplies that aren’t usually placed where needed, and the mission variety is lacking. The amount of gold you’d need would have to be tripled, rewards and events need to happen. Some kind of upgrade system to give more interest. Knock it off with the packs, please, they should not be necessary. Thanks for reading, good luck to the game developers.

Fun but so glitchy and pay to play if you want to get anywhere. Yes you can play for free, but you will never win or complete events without putting significant money. Also so glitchy, for example, I was done with all available levels, at which point they send you to winners league until new levels are released. I got the newest levels and then completed only 40 out of the 100 new levels released and was sent to winners league. I contacted support, waited TWO days for a bot to respond that I had completed all available levels. Although it's not true because half my teammates are now way ahead of me.

Very expensive to play. I play a lot of match 3 games and this is the most expensive one of all. The amount of points you collect for passing levels is small for the amount of time it takes to pass the level. I had gotten to the point I had to pay to pass each level. If you have a ton of disposable income or really enjoy being irritated and play the same level over and over, this game is for you. I deleted it.

Mystery Matters. I enjoy having so many challenging games to play inside this one game. However! The game program is definitely not helpful to the player. For instance, I will play the same match three sequence multiple times rather than spend real money on the game, only to have the game computer thwart me by one move on each game. I resent that the game wants to insist on spending money in order to win.

Get rid of the profanity.. The game is really great. Lots of variety, you don’t get stuck too too often. It’s got a lot of my favorite features from a variety of other games but the profanity is just so out of place. It doesn’t even make sense when you put it in there. It’s more of a shock each time, you add a word that’s so unnecessary. It’s distracting. And that makes me not want to put my heart and soul into your game. Plus you’d be more of a family game if you just took it out. That’s my two cents.

Great so far!. Fun game. Gives great rewards to help you get back into it when you've been gone. Some levels you can tell they don’t want you to win but you can always get through it. Lots of random puzzles and mini games between match games. Fun story line and fun to decorate as well! My fav game of this type. It’s very well made and tries to help you out.

STUCK. I’m enjoying the game however some of the levels are quite hard. Presently I’m stuck on 543 and have tried to pass this level but seems impossible at this point given the number of moves allotted. I have no more tools to use either. Why do you make it so difficult to enjoy the game?Also you’re not generous by awarding more tools to assist. You make it very frustrating to continue!

Fun-but costly. I really like this game but it’s hard to keep going unless you have unlimited lives, power ups or coins to pay the hight price of five more plays. It’s intriguing I’ll give it that and it’s also what keeps me coming back but consider decreasing the difficulty on some of the hard levels so you can at least win them after so many tries or running out of lives, and 900 coins for five more lives? Sometimes I just stop because it gets depressing. Sorry just being honest.

Good game. So I’ve loved this game so far and I’m on level 200 and something and I really haven’t spent but maybe $10 on the game just gotta keep trying on the tough levels. But I got to a point where I unlocked a secret island and it won’t let me move on. It just has the characters sitting there and not doing anything. When I hit “skip” it just constantly “fast forwarded” and I let it sit there for like 5+ minutes. Gonna try deleting then redownloading.

Not fair game when you get further in the game. There are levels that I’ve spent days on and gotten nowhere. The helicopter power up does not go to where you need it most. And contrary to some reviews, you do not get a lot of power ups. Seems fixed at times. I will study board and find a solution to eliminate the final obstacles and somehow it leaves one on the board on my last move. That being said, it’s a fun game with interesting stories.

Great game, one flaw imo. This game is one of the best ones I’ve played, only thing I wish the game offered is the option to watch ads to get free coins. So that way when your stuck, and need a boost for extra turns it can help you beat the super hard levels. I love the puzzle strategy parts of the game too. Other than being stuck for days straight on a level, I have no complaints! 😍

Mystery Matters. I love this game, but with the last upgrade it won’t open. Just gives me a flash of the screen and then disappears. Tried everything to get it to come back. I still have mega coins involved, so I guess I just lost my money. April 26 After the latest upgrade I am unable to open mystery matters. Game flashes then just disappears. I have re-booted and re-installed. Nothing helps. If this cannot be fixed please refund me my last two purchases.

Never a dull moment. This game has so many variables it never gets boring. Interesting and changing storylines keep your attention. It’s difficult enough to be challenging but not so difficult to be frustrating. Graphics are well done. I play this game nearly every day and never tire of it. Some days it’s difficult to put down. Time passes so quickly sometimes that hours go by without me realizing it. One of my favorite games to play

Must be a glitch!. I finished the detective race and the window keeps popping up showing the results of that race every time I complete a level and it’s annoying… please fix!!! Also the mini game where we need to rescue the little girl, it’s unfair how we need to spend over 20 lightening bolts for each obstacle you need to clear!!! After clearing 3 obstacles ..you have to complete like 15 levels to gain 100 something bolts.. it makes you not wanna play cause it takes the fun away.

Love the game but I can’t play it. I really love the game but out of the blue the I got a message that said that my account had suspicious activity and that it looked like I was cheating. I got locked out of my team and several others features. I’m really disappointed by this. When I go to the help center I tried using the chatbot but no one answers my chat. I didn’t cheat and I wouldn’t begin to know how to cheat if I wanted to. Please fix this issue.

Too expensive. This game starts out fun enough where if you plan well you can beat most levels until you get to a certain point & every level is impossible to beat because of the amount of cookies you have to break & get, the number of letters you’re also required to get and then the regular stuff or clouds or lanterns you have to bust in one game. You will immediately use everything you’ve won and saved so that to keep playing you have to start spending real money. There are too many fun games to be tricked into that so quickly. I played for three or four days and now I’m about to delete it and move on.

Love!. I never leave reviews, but I had to share my love of this game! Mystery Matters is in a league of its own. I love the stars earned in a level-to-stars required to complete tasks ratio. And I especially love how you (the player) get to do even the tiniest things, like clearing leaves, matching icons to unlock treasure, mixing potions, etc. Mystery Matters goes above and beyond what other, similar games are only hoping to achieve. You have to play this game! Who doesn't love a good mystery?

Cheat. So I’ve been noticing with this new update, that even though I can make 40 coins or more in a level, you guys will cheat me and only give 30 coins. Why? I don’t know ig it’s a glitch, but I hope you guys fix it. 30 coins doesn’t add up too quickly and also, it’s just not fair to short someone one what they won. Also, why can’t we earn stars in this “tournament”? I hate being stagnant and I’d like to be able to play more of the storyline. Please fix these things.

I. Love. The. GAME!!. This game has been so worth the download!! The gameplay, graphics, and story are incredibly addicting!! The need to discover what happens next, keeps me gluttonous for more match 3!! And I love the little object search games thrown in every couple of games as well as the puzzles to put together to help solve the mysteries. Definitely worth it and I highly recommend this game.

I love this game. This game is great. Love everything about it but it does require a lot of stars for one task, just 23 to do one thing is a bit much. An sometimes when I make a match it doesn’t give me the right one.i made five in a row an instead it gave me a line remover piece. It’s happened a couple of times an drives me crazy. Another time I hit the fan one on my last move and it should have cleared the last piece but didn’t. So frustrating. Other than that this game is really great.

I enjoy the game but there’s shadiness. I have had a few times when I go to make a purchase where I get charged for a much bigger purchase (like $50 or $100!) instead of the $2 purchase I’m trying to make. Most recently, I hadn’t even tried to make a purchase and suddenly, I’m being charged for an item I never tried to purchase. I’ve gotten refunds on the bigger ones, but the fact that now I’m being charged when there hasn’t been an attempted purchase is definitely hinky.

Stuck and deleting. Disappointed because I’m stuck. It was a fun game with the different puzzles. Unique storyline I wish I could proceed. I hit a extra hard level with no extra help. I just ran out of stars to move to the next step. The only choice I am left with is spend real money or delete it. since they don’t replenish on a daily basis, or give you extra offers to play for awards, there’s no other option and I’m deleting.

Good & Bad. I like the seek and find game and that it barely playable. We have way more of the match game which i truly hate, its not relaxing its anger inducing. It so much limited time to clear the board and i dont mind a challenge but this is beyond that. I like the look and the story but to be honest with all the match gaming i was having to i deleted it was infuriating and so as beautiful as the game is it’s sad that is can make you as annoyed and angry as i felt playing it. Best of luck to all yall out there who play it.

Don’t spend money. I also wanted to say that I’m not spending anymore money on this game because it’s pointless. You people are trying to rob us. It doesn’t matter how many packages you purchase, the levels are designed to make you lose unless you get lucky. But other than that, the story is good, the banter is funny and it’s fun to play but I’m not about to get cheated out of my money. Stop doing this to people!

This game is great!. Love this game. Definitely my favorite. I would play only this game if I could. The story, the characters and most of all, the games are perfect. Some levels are challenging but can be beaten if you hang in there. It’s not just a match game, but there are tasks you need to perform to solve the mysteries that change it up a bit and make it more interesting. Very well done!

Purchasing to play a “free” game. This low rating is because I don’t park to play and you have designed to get money out of people. Don’t like having to purchase stuff to continue playing. Prefer games for which you earn what you need from the game. To bad, it could be a really awesome game with many options to keep the player intrigued. 900 coins for 5 moves? RIP OFF! It’s a shame no one but you will see this. Don’t know why I waste my time. Maybe I hope you will change things so others can enjoy what is a well designed and enjoyable game except for the money grabbing!

Love the story. Love the puzzles. Leveling up has become a chore. In the beginning, leveling up was doable. I started a group and looked forward to the storyline, discovering things, discussing who-done-it and expanding territory. The only way to get points to expand and solve mystery is to level up. The only other way to get points to increase territory is to purchase with real money. I am at level 128 and it has become very difficult and maybe impossible to beat the machine without cash purchases for not very much. That’s what I see so far. If Imlearn something more positive.

Could be fun. The storyline is OK but if you're not in the position to frequently spend money to get through levels then this game will get old fast. Frequently stuck on levels for numerous days, no side games to keep my interest as I'm stuck on levels, long time between getting lives, can't send and receive lives from friends very often, only receive a single booster once every 20hrs, when making combo move to make a booster in game it frequently doesn't give it to you. It's really a shame, it could be a fun game if they didn't have so many blocks that are intended to make people spend money.

Mystery Matters. Enjoying this game for the first 50 levels, then the game stops - returns to the home screen of my tablet. Five tries to win a level and each time I am 5-8move into the game it stops and I see the home screen on the tablet. I have looked in the settings section followed the fixes. Nothing is working. Not a fan of dumping the game but I play games to relax . Not finding this game relaxing when it stops and don’t move past level 60.

Bugged and they don’t care. I’ve been trying to get support to understand that their level 548 is bugged. I’ve won it four times and it still says I have one thing left. Sent screen shots, etc. the level is unwinnable making the game unplayable. I said I’d like the three hours of lives back I didn’t get to use because I wasn’t able to play and instead of addressing the actual issue they were just like oh the missing object issues will be fixed in an upcoming update here’s some coins. They either don’t care at all and still expect people to pay money or they have agents who don’t know what they are doing.

Too many glitches!. First they keep asking for our opinion of the game. It’s always the same complaint from everyone but they don’t do anything about it! There are so many glitches in the game! Some are so bad I have team members that can’t play because they were sent back to the Winners Circle levels in the middle of regular levels and can’t play the regular levels. Lastly, I told them about a glitch that you had to win 10 levels but i was started at -45/10 (yes neg 45). I was told I was cheating and they were going to monitor my account. They got away from what made this game good in the beginning and now I give it 1 star!

Surprised. i downloaded this game thinking that it was gonna be riddled with ads and/or pay to play/win. it’s none of those things! no ads, you can easily pass levels without having to spend real money, and the levels are challenging enough to not be boring yet not so hard to the point you can’t win. this is my new favorite game and tbh i’m kind of addicted 🤭

Really fun! But at the moment it’s cheating…. I am on level 1,976 and the game is actually cheating me? I am not getting enough diamond rings to clear the level and every time I try the remaining number changes. I have played probably 15 times and the remaining number ranges from 2-9 diamond rings left, every time. I’ve cleared the board and played the extra combos to keep items dropping but not getting more diamond rings! What gives? Otherwise I really like the game but please fix the glitch!

I love the idea of the game. I love the idea and variety in this game. I. Agree with the other review that there are options to get a lot of bonus items…. But at level 80 I feel stuck unless I “pay” to get more “help”. So this will probably be where I quit playing. I have tried this level numerous times and it feels un-beatable unless I pay for help. It is very sad because I very much enjoyed playing the game. I feel all levels should be “beatable” without having to pay to beat it.
