Disappointed. This could have been such a fantastic app, and I am really quite disappointed that it didn't live up to it's potential. The premise is very cool, and he graphics are amazing. In fact, the graphics are the only reason I gave 2 stars. I could have dealt with there being fewer animals than anticipated, or the frustration of not being able to click on some of the animals. But I can't get past the fact that the descriptions are sadly lacking and even sometimes embarrassing to read (i.e. instead of giving actual measurements it says, "47ft (example) long and some pounds." Some pounds? I didn't know 'some' was an official measurement).The first time I read such a description I winced but figured it was a one time oversight. Unfortunately that was quickly proven untrue, and also not the only mistake made several times throughout the descriptions I read. I started at the beginning of time, and made it through only 3 'periods' before I had to delete the app. And I made it through those time periods and animals in only 10 minutes, which shows the amount of detail offered in the app. All in all, a disappointing end to an exciting download that I thought would fulfill my desire for a fun, informative app that will hold the interest of my kids. And so the search continues!

Amazing App. I love the app, as well as other apps made by the same app developers, however one thing that Dino walk doesn't have that Solar walk does is the ability to rotate the globe, if you could do that with Dino walk that would be awesome!!!

Exquisite. Vito made another eye-catcher. However, it needs to be updated with info on the time periods as well; a size comparison chart with a human next to the animals would be nice, or just silhouetted against the photos of the Dinos. Other than that, I'm impressed again with another of Vito's app. Excellent.

Dino Fun. My 7 year old son loves this app and keeps telling me stuff he has learned from it.

Fun Tool. Dino Walk is great if you want to scrape the surface when it comes to dinosaur knowledge. I'm very impressed with how this app works: you're shown a globe and can browse through eras and see the geographic changes as well as which animals evolved when. This said, Dino Walk is lacking lots of information. I tried searching its index for several varieties of dinosaur, to no avail (Basilosaurus, Megalodon, Estemmenosuchus, etc.) A feature I really want to see implemented is an option to mark species/locations as "favorites." I was surprised this wasn't already part of the app. Also, there's no option to view the genus and Latin name. Add these changes, and I'll be be very happy.

Awesome app 😍😎. I've learned a lot from this app and really enjoy seeing the continents move around and viewing the life forms. My 22 month old son loves it too.

Kids are fascinated. Love this app, the kids are fascinated with it, it's perfect for a classroom interactive session!

Thumbs up. This is a wonderful app. I was trying to explain to a five year old that humans and Dinosaurs didn't co- exist. Going through the Epochs helped a lot!

Great to show how the Earth has changed over time!. This app is precisely what I was looking for to show my daughter how the Earth has geologically changed over time. In fact, the only reason it's not five stars is that it uses the scientifically obsolete concept of "continental drift" (rather than plate tectonics) as part of the title. Three other notes: - When photos are on, the automatic scaling makes it difficult to see the land. Consider turning off the genie effect. - A feature I would love is the ability to put a pin on a piece of land (e.g. our home) in one time period and track it's motion across time. - I understand the frustration of other reviewers who expected more dinosaur stuff. This app is great for what I wanted, but not so much for them. Consider renaming it "Earth Walk" or "Geo Walk" or something like that. I'm sure that "Dino Walk" sells more unit, but the company's brand has grown trusted by folks and this product name strains that trust for people who really want dinosaur stuff.

Great job. A great app, but it would be nice to be able to hide the species accounts to have an unobstucted view of the plate techtonics.

Great app but is missing some periods. Hi, This is one of the greatest Earth History apps I have ever used, but it could use some more periods. I would love for it to go further back in time to the Archean or Hadean eons. A couple of the Phanerozoic also don’t get the spotlight and I wish I could see stuff in between certain periods. Thank you!

Great but needs redesign. Thanks for the awesome app. Some feedback: 1. The species should appear on the map only in the age during which they lived. 2. Quiz mode is hopelessly difficult and long. Make it a lot simpler to cater to a broad audience. Also, gamify it more.

Cool animation. but the pictures get in the way - they need to be removable from the animation. It would be nice if the timeline were a bit more accurate too.

Not enough. If there were other human species where are they? For example, Neanderthals existed 50000 years ago in Europe but it doesn’t show

Nice. Timeline feature quite impressive. Hi-res Dino images is truly amazing, but I would like to change OST it sounds too cosmic for earth app.

Needs updates..... Lethargic. Had to reinstall a couple times. Sound didn't work at first. Stalls a lot. Have to restart the app. Needs updates....

Hey guys I love this app could you possibly make a sequel to it I want to see more prehistoric life and learn cool facts about it you could call it like Dino walk 2 or something oh and I love your night sky apps too considering this is 2021 I feel like we could use some fresh new discoveries

Graphics too small for iPhone. This would be a great app for an iPad but on an iPhone things are too small. I agree it would be nice to turn off the pop up pictures. It also takes up quite a bit of space, 0.3 gigs.

Good start need tweaks. This review is only for the Apple TV version of the app. The space mystic music is too loud and competes with the voice over when you click play on a certain item. You turn up the volume to hear the voice tell you about the item but the music raises with it (obviously) and drowns out the voice.

Has potential but not there yet. I like the continental drift aspect, but I'm not sure what they are going for with placing species. During some periods, some species of that period are mixed in with contemporary species or species are displayed that are already extinct (e.g.: there were not even close ancestors of the thresher shark during the Silurian period); during the first epoch of the age of mammals (the Paleocene) there are still dinosaurs like the hypselosaurus (who should have been by that time wiped out by Mr. Asteroid) running around with contemporary not-yet-evolved reptile species (and yes there are a few but not enough accurate species of the time). I think there may have been a little of a rush releasing this app as on the pay-for category. I find myself spending time figuring out whether species are aligned with that period or of our time (though a photo rather than an illustration is a good hint that the species didn't exist in its present form 400 million years ago). I'm guessing the authors put these inaccuracies in there as place holders to keep things interesting while they more thoroughly gather research. A big update is in order! I will not seek a refund hoping they will quickly bring this good concept into a more accurate and full potential. I would consider this app in early beta.

I got a good idea for this app. Why not you make an update for this app like add more animals like more prehistoric animals and plants. And another update the app will have hominid species and another update will have more prehistoric animals and modern animals please? And another update will let you walk around the world full of prehistoric animals and plants. And another update will let you survive a in a open world full of prehistoric animals and plants. And it let you play as a human ancestor and you have to survive and evolve into the next species. And you can make tools and weapons. And you have to eat food drink water and sleep. And have a zoo update that you can walk around the zoo full of prehistoric animals. And you can learn about prehistoric animals. I hope you do this in future updates please? Thank you.

Disappointingly muddled …. Oh dear … Dreck … A sorry mixture of living stuff interspersed with fossil species — with no attempt to explain why such confusing juxtapositions are being made. Other than naming orders of dinosaurs, there’s no attempt to explain their evolutionary relationships. (Is this covert design hogwash?) A waste of money & time. Shocking from this developer …

Great teaching tool. My son LOVES this app! He has quickly gained a real appreciation for the continental drift, the passage of years and long extinct creatures. It's easy to use and full of great information. Well worth it!
