Absolutely Terrible. Used to be my favorite app with the recent bookings and now the new update completely ruined the app. Bring the old update back. Honestly it's not even worth the one star anymore.

Lots of display bugs. This app needs an update, doesn’t work well on current iPhone and iOS. Had to use the website to get around some of the issues.

Disappointed with the latest update :(. Used the old version from my iPhone, since the latest update I haven't been able to as it doesn't support safari.

Don’t waste your finger power. Does not work. I would sign into the web page & create a link for a text or email notification. Also with your local court ask if the “Alleged” has conditions upon release not to have (any) direct or indirect contact with you. Then you can request additional charges if they contact you. Stay safe.

I don’t receive notifications anymore. I originally joined Vinelink in 2019 it is now 2022 and was receiving notifications each time my loved one was transferred to another DOC. As of May2022 I have not received any notifications of any transfers and he’s been transferred twice,Help me understand why is this occurring? I have been reading the reviews and I’m not seeing where anyone is replying back to anybody’s complaints,Is anybody working on fixing these bugs? Or is this app not being serviced by anybody?

Notifications. Cool feature is this app has the option to notify you if someone’s status changes.

Use to be a great resource not anymore. I’ve been using Vine since it was created and I have never had any issues getting alerts or being updated until now. Now my phone can’t save my login for the app. I don’t get the alerts or notifications until several hours after their release or move to another facility. When I was getting stàhe notifications within 30-60 mins of their status change. Now I find out on the street or social media of their release or move before vine notifies me. I can not keep my family safe or watch out for them if I don’t get the information in a timely manner. A fatal encounter could happen by the time I received the notification. Pls correct this issue immediately. Lives depend on it. Ty

Didn’t get notified!!!. This is a VERY unsafe app because I got zero notifications when the offender was released and had signed up for text, call, app, and email notifications!!!

Love the app when it's working.. For whatever reason when I open the app and pick the state it just sits there and doesn't go any further.

Reached Limit???. Tried to use and message appears saying access declined because reached maximum limit??? Never happened before update. Please fix!

Can't rate a "0" star. This app is the worst I've ever used. 3 minutes to lead state pull down menu, and over 10 minutes loading Michigan and it's still not done.

Fix this app please. I use to not have problems. Now when I try and look up someone the stupid "I'm not a bot" won't work right. Please fix this.

Doesn’t work. Presents a blank screen with “unable to load page” on launch.

Adds insult to injury. Worst app ever! If I could give negative stars I would. Victims are already in a bad place and this only adds frustration and irritation. The app does nothing except waste your time and aggravate you to no end.

Bring back old features. As a defense attorney, it was extremely helpful for me to be able to preview who is in the local jail so I could find if a client had been picked up by law enforcement. The update doesn't let me look at who is in jail. Bring back the most useful part of the app.

PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!!. Most recent Update caused app to be worthless to us victims!! I count on this app for years now and now I have no access and I deleted and re-downloaded it three times and it’s still not working at all

First try was a fail second try it worked. This is something really important so vine should make sure all the stuff is right. First time mine got out of jail without me knowing I woke up with him in my house staring at me while I slept. The police government officials are the ones told me about this link so it SHOULD FOR SURE WORK PROPERLY I had to register me and family meme era numbers emails etc to get a notification

Very informative. I love the app because it’s informative and way more information than the apps you have to pay . And because it’s free I don’t mind picking the state every time and the occasional screen freeze up. Again it’s free and very informative. Thanks for the great app

Doesn’t work.. Can’t select a state. Tap the screen to select a state and app won’t acknowledge I taped a state. App is unless to use right now.

Worst app ever. Definitely the worst app I’ve ever used. Doesn’t work most of the time. If you do a search more often than not it goes back to the startup page.

Doesn’t work. I can’t get pass the I it’s loading screen. Error message sometimes pops up. Other times the circle just keeps on going.

Not working. I open the app, click on Hawaii and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME...for months...the app just loads for hours and never logs into the Hawaii database. It's so frustrating. I hope that in this time, I haven't missed the perp being released or some other big thing like that.

Disappointed. Don't waste your time with the app. It's identical to the website. Only difference is, the website loads much faster

It’s freezing up. It used to work but now it’s doing nothing but freezing up. You can’t do anything like you used too. All it says is loading and it gets stuck there, can’t look at record details.

Not working. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, and restarting my phone, but every time I try to open the app it just loads!

Not only for Victims for Families of incarcerating people. Because you won’t get a lot of info from the prison system, you can use this ! Believe it or not!

Fix please!!!. After picking my state (Hawaii) it then prompts me to “enable cookies and JavaScript” and “Disable private browsing mode”. I never set my browsing to private so I didn’t need to disable it. I enabled cookies and my JavaScript was already enabled. After doing so I start the app again and get the same results. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app and got the same results. Fix this please. It was working just fine before.

All it does is load. This app is horrible. It is unreliable, I’ve only been able to access it about 3-4 times otherwise it’s loading at the “enter state” page. It never stops loading

Used to love this app. Update ruined it.. It used to tell who was locked up in county jail and now seems to be focused on cook county and you have to search each offender. Went from hero app to zero quckly.

Terrible. App is no go at all. Kept saying person was still incarcerated at one jail and had been gone over a month and was never updated. Inmate was released from jail and I got the notice two-days later that they had been released. Waste of time thing app was actually secured & kept update. DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS APP.

Really BAD!. LOST Recent Bookings. Takes forever to load. If it's loading the entire state at the beginning; it needs a FIX. Nothing should load until the state, county & name is entered. Have IPhone 5, need a vine link that works. Please offer the old one.

Needs an Update. Over a year since an update & the app doesn’t save me logging in when I previously did (using iOS 15.2 on iPhone 13 Pro

Same as Website but Slower. It doesn’t remember your state so you have to select it every time you search in the app. Also it is an incredibly slow version of the website with no ability to click the browser’s back button or anything similar. It’s an attractive app and the functionality is there but these issues need to be resolved.

I can not view my state. I have used Vinelink before in my state but now I can’t. I have tried using the website and the app. Only a select few states work.

App not working!!!. Hello I just downloaded this app and it’s not working correctly! I selected my state and tried to look up a court case but was directed to an error page. It said the request was “badly formed” whatever that means. Also annoying, I couldn’t back out of the error page. I had to force close the app and reopen it. I have tried it several times, even deleting and re-downloading the app didn’t fix it. I would love to use this app if the creators can fix the errors.

Frustrating. How do you even get to the registration page. All it has is find on offender update registration and more resources how do you even get started?

This is for victims...not a "fun" search list!!!! Go to your state/county website for that.... Thank you for making this app! It's easy to register and update information. I'm not looking forward to the notifications but so glad the app is here to help me through it.

Doesn’t even work anymore. They re-did the app a few years ago, and it’s been bad ever since. Recently it just stopped working, and crashes during search.

Update is impossible. Makes you do multiple "I'm not a robot" tests for every inquiry. If you have nothing else to do, and like puzzles with no apparent answers, this app is for you!

Horrible! Please change it back!. Used to be a quite handy tool, but since the latest update it is worthless! Bring back Recent Bookings please!

Poorly updates victims. This could be a great app to inform you of a predator being released, however it does no good when you find out DAYS later! Considering what this app is used for, one would think it would update the victims better.

Disappointing. Good apps are supposed to add more features not take them away. The decision to not be able to search by jail showing a list of offenders and their mugshots, was a bad decision! Your competitor’s apps that will include the feature yours once had, is going to knock the ratings of yours down a lot.

Update. The update is awful. Doesn't even work half the time and why do you have to search each offender ?! Where's the recent bookings. Hate the update and thinking of deleting the app now

Does nothing. As if I don’t already have problems, I’m registered to be notified of a custody status for a reason. I feel like I gave this “system/database?” info I’d generally consider private and it failed me. I can see its intention here is to help, but it’s not doing that. It’s coercing victimized people into disclosing to them and rehashing details about their life that may potentially be traumatizing. Then, here’s what bothers me, I’ve gotten no help by said notifications of any kind from them... despite the person in question 1)not showing up for their court date, and 2) cutting off ankle monitor designed to protect me, in my case. Big fail here Vine. It sounds to me like soon enough they’ll be involved (maybe victims) of a typical data breach in which my info will likely be leaked. It just seems unstable of a network or something is off here. I’ve gotten much more help, as in notifications etc., via USPS from the courts.

Not working. Downloaded it, opened it- froze up...deleted it, reinstalled it, put in the information- froze up again...deleted it and reinstalled for a third time-still frozen... what’s the point 🤷🏼‍♀️deleting permanently

Deleted because it took off what I was looking for. As a person working with LE, I was interested in seeing the recently booked, but that went away. Boo.

Doesn’t Work. All it does is show an “unable to load page” error, offers a refresh link that takes you back to the very beginning…..

Not even 5 min into the app. The app froze and I just downloaded it I closed the tab re opened it same thing delete the app opening it happens again

Didn’t work. I didn’t receive notifications at all when the person was released. This puts me in danger. I will not use this app again, it’s a false sense of security. I use the website for the actual facility the person is in instead, even though it’s not updated within the same day, it’s still better than not knowing at all. Expecting a notification & not receiving one until it’s too late is TERRIFYING. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!

New app is useless. They updated this app and everyone has the same conclusion. The app programmer should be fired. They made this app useless and took away its inmate locator functionality. Useless. Deleting it.

Very Satisfied. My fiancé was in Meade Co jail. I bonded him out & before we left the parking lot (within 30 mins) I was contacted by phone & text! Have to say that's pretty quick! Also a friend in Hardin Co & Grayson & contacted within 1 hr of moving to different county!!

Piece of mind. I feel much safer knowing that there is now another way to sign up for notifications. I now don't have to be by a computer to check on my offender.

Bring back whose locked up. Loved this app before the update! Now it's terrible. Bring back the whose in jail feature!

Horrible!. This app use to be fantastic ..now you get only partial info with it buffering and it’s not my internet connection.

Great app!. I've used Vine tracking criminals before via our local jail's website. So happy to have the mobile version accessible through my iPhone. Very useful and works great! Just another way to keep my family safe.

Update. The update took away recent bookings which took away my reason for having it

No peace of mind :(. When I try to register my perp it says my email is already registered. Well, I know that. I want to know that I'm set up to receive an update on HIM, if he moves, etc. but, there's no way to actually find out if what you're set up for is correct or not. I dunno, it's great in theory, but I don't trust this app at all. The phone calls have worked in the past. I remember it saying my perp has transferred and I'd have to open a new request, but I'm still unsure if I'm set up right. There's no way to check anywhere?? I'm trying to keep tabs on a convicted murderer, soooo, it'd be great to have some reassurance. Thanks

Photos are available. When you install the app, the toggle switch needs to be turned on in order to see photos. Works great. The only issue is lack of updates on inmates. Finding more on Google about conviction updates than on this app.

Search by State. Searching by the whole state is easier than picking a county. If you provide the option of choosing one state, with the no county (as in idk what county) it makes it easier on me. I'd keep this app if I could choose just the state solely.

Love VINE Mobile!. This is fantastic! I frequently use VINE to check the status of my perpetrator and this mobile app is so helpful and easy to use! I am happy to see that this company is keeping up with the times to reach all victims. Big thanks!

Don't notify you immediately!!. If your a victim of any crime and are scared and paranoid of your offender coming out to get you don't event bother with this app!! I already knew from my county's inmate search site that my offender was sent out to prison since THIS MORNING and "VINE" (15 hours later) calls and emails me that he is being transferred to a location that is unknown to them yet. I knew where he was before "VINE" did.. What's the point of this app if they're not going to notify you immediately that your offender had been released? You'll know 15 hours later when he has hitch hiked all that way to your city and is standing at your door!! Waste of my time this app... Your better off just checking your county's inmate search page online and bookmarking it to your home screen. That will make for a better, more accurate, more UPDATED app!

Great app. If you need to look up someone in jail it's great. Also, you can register to be notified when they are released from jail.

403 error. I get nothing but a screen that says 403 error after the latest update.

Unreliable! Useless.. When the offender got out of jail, I was not notified. It still states that my offender is in custody today and he was released on 8/21!!!

Like the app. I like the app but since I updated it when I go to search for an offender it shows up saying 1 out of 1 records found and when I go to click on it nothing happens it won't open. Please fix it.

Doesn’t work. This app does not work. I selected my state, then “find an offender court case” and it keeps saying Bad Request HTTP Error 400. The request is badly formed.

Wish I didn't update.. The mobile version is exactly like the website. Why have a mobile version? Plus, it's extremely slow and full of glitches. And it doesn't save any info you put in. Bring back the old version, with the search by county/facility option.

People misunderstand this App. Those people reviewing this app as a one star were only interested in the recent booking roster. That feature still exists in the companies Mobile Patrol app. This VINE app is for victims of crime who know their offender. This app is far superior in its functionality for victims and will only get better! Great work on the update and for those who want to see a roster of who is incarcerated ... go download mobile patrol.

Finally, a useful app!. I greatly enjoy all of my apps that provide great entertainment value. However, I was very happy to find an app that now allows me to stay updated on the whereabouts of the bad eggs within my community. I place my family's safety at a premium and this is a tool that helps service that base desire. Kudos to the creators.

Extremely useful. This app has been extremely helpful for me to be more efficient at my job in community corrections. I am able to keep track of individuals on my caseload and find out when they are in jail faster on here than on the jail screen. The alerts work and I haven't had a single instance where the information on the app was inaccurate.

Great Idea. This application is connected to people who are incarcerated. My connection is a family member in county jail. She is frightening. I, as well as others, need to know if her status changes. For example, I registered her name, my email, if she is released I am notified right away, electronically to my computer, now phone. That's why there are no pictures, you know who you want to be notified about. This is a great service. Thank you.

No use for KY. Says it is going to redirect you to Ky courts but then throws an error and locks up.

Not working any more. I am no longer able to use this app with my iPhone

On Point. I had someone recently close to me who was incarcerated for several nights and due to the system being a mess they were suppose to release him nights ago.. This app was able to call (automated - but continues to call once you acknowledge the call and enter a pin) and text me once he was out of custody. Great app for people who want to be notified if any offenders are out free- For their protection - and if they also have loved ones that are waiting to be released. No pictures though by that's not necessary.

VINE on the go.. What a great new way to access VINE on the go. They've really made it easy to register for notifications or check the status of an offender directly from my iPhone. In Texas, I even found a great list of victim services that will dial with the touch of the button - very cool and very easy to use. Thanks for this new way to help my peace of mind.

Won't allow me past setup screen. App doesn't work. Plain and simple. Looks good but doesn't deliver. Once I install app and accept terms and condition it leads me to a setup screen which says choose state and specific agency. This screen cannot be bypassed. Once I click my state, it says something along the lines of "no agencies for my state are listed". Leaving me stuck on this screen and unable to utilize the app.

Photos. I cannot view any photos on here it jus says photo unavailable? Do I have to upgrade it or buy something to get the photos? I don't know but I wish I could have the photos with mine as well so I could know if it's the accurate person.

Love the new look!. I certainly appreciated what the app provided as far as search and registration, and now the update looks fantastic and makes navigating through the app much easier! Thank you!

Great app. I'm glad that I can keep up with my offender, and don't have to utilize the computer. Now with just a tap of the screen I can monitor my offender anywhere!!!! Great program vine!!!

Crap. I hate the new update! I likes being able to look at the recent bookings in my county!!

Issues. The app is great for watching who is in the local jail but it constantly has double entries or sometimes even more. And most of the pictures never load. It's like there is a glitch in the system.

Take the App out of Appriss. Good intent, poor execution... This app hardly works. Not to mention, tons of duplicate photos with mismatched information. Isn't the entire purpose of this app for victims to be notified when someone, potentially dangerous to their safety, is released from jail? I'd say showing the correct photo matched with the correct information is probably a pretty important factor for those victims properly registering for notifications... Just a thought.

Love it but needs more. I love the app, the only thing I wish it would change or add , would be the charges of the arrestees and have the complete list of inmates, because one jail is only showing 100 inmates and I know for a fact there are over 200 inmates there.

A complete disaster. Everything is broken. Prompts don't even display. All functionality--100%--is broken.
