Love this App!. Does what it's suppose to do, I've tried like 4 others and more sophisticated then this simplistic app, blows the others, out of the water. Just my opinion. Although, I wish the colors worked.

Good. It is very good but lack password consistenty. I contacted the programmer but he did not fix password malfunction. Hope this will happen.

Very happy. Have the app about 3 weeks, still getting used to it but think it is going to do what I purchased it for.....to keep my spending on track.

Love this app!. This app is amazing for creating a spending plan and sticking to it. I love that I can create a budget for individual categories. At a glance, I can check how much money I have left in each budget and can easily add expenses.

Best app ever. I searched and searched and search for an app like this. This is beyond the best app out there that don’t charge ,simple and perfect five star ⭐️!!!!!!!

Great App!. This was exactly what I needed. It will be awesome if there can a function or option created to move the money between the budget to cover the overspending from underspending.

pro doesn’t work. I had high hopes. But I put in my income & 2 deductions. It subtracted one but not other, even though both were for same day.

Almost perfect. This app is almost perfect. I would give 5 stars if it would allow me to split transactions into multiple categories. Please add this feature.

Not able to upgrade. App is not letting me upgrade to pro. When I click upgrade it says it cannot connect to iTunes store. Help

In love. This app acts like a parent. It keeps you in track for how much you can spend and if you have gone over! I have deleted it thinking I didn’t need it anymore but it didn’t take long before I was looking for it again in the App Store. It’s a must have

Efficient App. Helped me easily organize my salary & expenses. Very useful and not cluttered with subscriptions and evil add-on fees.

Useless .. No calc for Deposits. Well for as much as I like this little app, I have no other option but to give it 2 stars. Before I discovered its handicap I'd have given it 5. There is no way to add a deposit to your account. I tried placing it in the 'income' section for the perspective account and it calculated it as an 'expense'. The Expense sections actually work quite well. I just downloaded this app like a week ago, so I'm sure most updates needed have already been done. That makes this a flaw ... a fatal flaw which has brought me to this certain conclusion. Since I can't add deposits to my accounts and have the balance increase instead of decrease then I need to move on and find another app. Hurts me, because I really do like th,but when both expense & income do nothing but decrease your balance something is amiss and it ain't me. Thank you MyBudget, I do hope you get this situation resolved soon.

It's like using envelopes..... This is just the type of app I was looking for! I was using a paper ledger to track my spending categories, and I happily traded my pen and paper in. It's very easy to use. Gives a great "at a glance" look at your category balances.

Just love this app. You have to get used to it because it’s not intuitive. You have to play around a little. But once you get the hang of it, it’s everything that I wanted. I love how I can have multiple budgets for household and business and anything else. I love the reports. All of it. Just great.

Almost perfect. If there was a box to check on the transactions to show it cleared, would make this app 10x better

Just what I needed!. The ability to create multiple budgets with ease makes this a 5 star app. Gave it 4 stars because I would like the option to display the name of my transaction and the amount instead of displaying the category of the transaction and the amount. I also wouldn't mind the option of changing the background color from beige to white. Personally, white just looks cleaner/fresher.

Eh…. I love the other Apps by MH Riley, but this one doesn’t seem to function correctly. When I create a $150 grocery budget, I get some random transaction there and it doesn’t display the correct budget amount. Despite that I haven’t added any transactions or anything else. I deleted all the app data and re-downloaded and the same problem occurs.

LUV IT. Have only been using this a short time, but so far love it. You have to do some test entering to figure out how this program functions. Think it's a very well thought out program, especially for the price. Thanks!

Simple but great!. Exactly what I need. Create a budget and manually input my transactions. This app is so easy to use.

Very good!. I really like this app. I don't use the budget part, but the transaction bit is just lovely.

Buggy. Trying to add money into the budget category but instead it subtracts it. That’s a deal breaker. Should be able to add money back into the category not just take it out. When clicking on the income within the category and putting in the figure it actually takes it out. The expense works like it should but the income has a fault.

This app has become a disaster. Suddenly, not only are there duplicate transactions appearing, there are some duplicate budgets appearing. I feel as though I've wasted months entering data that I now need to completely redo. This is so frustrating! I have to check each and every transaction that I've entered over the past nine months. I'm afraid to though, feeling that once again I will have wasted my time. I'm less than thrilled with this app and am angry that I paid to upgrade to the pro version.

It need help. I'll be honest with you the suffers OK but I feel it could be really improved upon and we sticking with it is because I've already have almost a year and a half and date already uploaded but if I could've found a better route to go I would've went with that because your instructions on how to do things are very vague for me so hopefully I in the future it'll be improved to to get into more to get into more detail of what I need to do thank you have a good one

Flexible, clever, and so helpful!. I love this app. I appreciate the fact that it lets me run totally separate budgets for different income streams. Also, a HUGE plus is that I can export the data to a spreadsheet. Customizable categories are perfect, and I like that you can record transactions without setting a budget first - for example, when I started, I had no idea what I spent on groceries, so I didn't set a budget - I just recorded transactions. That gave me a good idea of how I was spending my money, and so in following months, I can budget according to actuals. Very cool! The reporting function is great to help you visualize where your money is going. Settings aren't 100% intuitive, but poking around will help you figure them out...And it's worth it!!!

I like it with a caveat. I like this app, the interface is easy to understand, transactions and categories are easy to enter, and it's easy to see at a glance where you are for the month. Two things needed to make this a five star app for me. First, There is no way to ask a question or any contact information within the app itself. Second, there is no way to add a one time increase to a single category for a single month. Additional income will increase the overall budget, but there's no way to assign that single overage to a category, it just stays in the overall bucket.

Very easy to use. I prefer this app to any other I've tried. It's easy and quick.

Multiple issues. This app hasn’t been updated in several years. It is hard to find all entries. They appear to be hidden as they show up in reports but not in the app. Confusing to use.

Wanted to love it. I’ve been searching for a new budget app since the one I was using was no longer supported. This one looked like it might work and it came close. I like that it’s fairly simple (I don’t need to connect to bank account, etc.), easy to use, and I’m not limited to how many categories I can create. I didn’t like that all budgets have to be on the same cycle. On my previous app I could set some budgets weekly, some monthly, and some annually. My biggest issue is that I can’t add money back into a budget. For example if I make a purchase then return all or part, that money can’t be added back. The app allows an “income entry” which is in green like an addition but the amount is actually subtracted. Fortunately I checked the balance for accuracy. And why is the keyboard set up like a phone (1,2,3 at top) vs. calculator (1,2,3, at bottom). Seems a financial app should work like calculator.

Exactly What I Wanted. This budgeting app is great! I’m so pleased with how easy it is to keep track of spending. I was surprised that I’m using the graph page as well. It’s actually really helpful! Thanks so much for this great tool!

Pretty straightforward if you want to track spending!. I've had another "budget" app that I liked but unfortunately they haven't updated for several yrs. I've tried several other apps but most are too involved, wanting you to balance etc. All I want is one that lets you set a budget, keep track of your spending & what areas it's spent! This is just what I want. I can see how much over I've spent with graphics or in categories , what my"balance " is with minimal effort Keep it simple! I add my income, set my categories and their budgets & I'm good to go!

Thank you Jesus. This app is just what I've been hoping for. The interface is simple, you can budget select categories while still adding various expenses to your list of purchases. Print the budget sheet directly to your phone or email it to yourself to save on your computer. Everything I could have asked for and more here. Can't go wrong.

MyBudgets works well for me. I must have downloaded twenty budget apps. This one works well. It is simple, straightforward and easy to use.

Needs work!. I find that errors in entries are too hard to correct--in the area of creating budgets. Instructions are not clear.

Decent app.. Enjoying the app. Works for my needs. If possible adding more icons would be great. Only downfall is the debit category throws out the budget if entered under budgets.

Great So Far. I haven't used this app long enough to reconcile at month end but for ease of setup and posting transactions its very good that's the basis of my 4 star rating. I've tried several budget apps and ended up being disappointed after continued use. I hope it'll achieve the 5 star ranking but time will tell. Must be noted: I did pay the extra $ for premium, so this review is NOT ON THE FREE VERSION.

Excellent App. I find this app easy to use and understand...It does not take long to work out how to use the app a the Instructions are clear. One star less is for the exporting of documents. So far they offered CSV file format, which if you want to use on a spread sheet is annoying. Would love to see PDF and TAB to use. Minor issue really. This app is great to use to keep record of spending and income. It has the feature for creating a password which I find very good to have. Great App...

Misses the mark. It seems like the good folks at the App Store are no longer checking basic functionality, before releasing an app for download. This app does not work. When you enter a budget amount, the app changes that number, seemingly at random, to a different number. Then it subtracts all the expenses against that wrong number. As a user there is no way to control what you want your budget amounts to be. The focus of this app seems to be giving the user the choice of icons for each line item, and which colour it will show up as on a bar graph. Whoever programmed this has only the sketchiest notion of what the app should do. As such, it completely misses the mark.

Great app. I spent weeks looking at budget apps. I was lo king for something powerful AND easy / quick to use. Because unless you are anal in order to track your budget you are doing it on the fly. This was the best app by far and we have been using it for 3 years

This had promise. I believe this went very wrong when I downloaded the full app. It's a mess, with no sense, and I'm tired of deleting and re-entering the info. I need biweekly, with some expenses being weekly, others monthly, etc. I get no sense out of this. Good luck.

Incomprehensible. I don't understand this app. I entered a category 'car payment' and the car payment amount. It required a date so I entered the due date of the car payment. When I saved the entry, the payment amount was less? WTH? Forget it. An envelope system is supposed to be as easy as, well...using envelopes.

Spending tracker. So what's the difference between this app & spending tracker app with its upgrade ?
