Great App. While trying to organize my budget, I came across the Spending app by the same developers. I’ve been using the Spending app for a long time. I was ecstatic when I found the Debt Manager app. I’m using it the two apps together to reign in my spending and pay off my debts using the snowball method. The interface on both apps are similar, simple and easy to use. I highly recommend the Debt Manager and Spending tracker. If I had one wish, it would be that those two apps were combined. What a powerful tool that would be!

So far it’s great. It showed me which option would be best for reducing/eliminating my debt. The only thing I need to check is if it reduces the balance automatically with the payments I have entered

Like it a lot but could use fix. Really like this app. Could use a fix though. I think most that use this would like to at times change their additional snowball $ amount. Sometimes people have setbacks resulting in less cash or have more cash to use or would like to change how aggressive they are with paying things off. But when I try to do this , I notice that the balance remaining gets messed up which I am guessing also messes up money saved, time saved before payoff, and date of payoff as they would be based on this also. And for every debt after that on the list too. It looks like that is because it applies that change also to payments made previously that were not made at that amount but at the previous amount. It really would be helpful if changing the amount would rebalance only for payments made after the change. I hope this is a change / update that can be done because other than that, I think this app is great!

Makes it so easy!. This app is incredibly easy to use. It tells me how much interest will be added every month, which was always messing me up before. I love see my payment schedule, it is so motivating when you can actually see when you are going to finish paying off a debt.

The app is great, wish it had one more thing. I’ve used this for my snowball with great success. But I’ve downgraded it by one star because it lacks one feature that is VERY important to me: the ability to create and track multiple independent paydown plans. I have two kinds of debt: health-care related and non-health-care related. Because these are paid from different funding sources (HSA vs checking acct), they cannot be co-mingled. For example, if I payoff a hospital account with my HSA, the snowball should move to my physician’s account rather than a credit card account, because I cannot legally use those same HSA funds to payoff my credit card. If the app had the ability to track multiple paydown plans independently, then I would put all my health care debts in one plan (with its own snowball), and all my consumer credit debts in another plan (with its own snowball, maybe even a different strategy). Once it supports that, then I’ll update my review to add the final star.

Meets expectations. I have been aware of programs like this (which calculate how to distribute $ to pay off debt in the least costly manor). The usability was very intuitive. I don't see how to customize the order in which you pay off the debts...but that is not something I care a great deal about. The results are non intuitive but indisputable and fun to obtain.

Great App Debt Reduction. I’m an Accountant and will say this App is a must for precise and accurate debt reduction planning. The tables and graphs gives a detailed view of how your debts are being payed off. This app along with another financial app are a daily Must fo my financial well being. Great app for tracking and dealing with your debt 👊. I love this app; great design, lots of useful options and cost only a buck! Takes little time(at least for me and I’m not an Einstein)to learn how to setup everything, once you’re done you good to go dealing with this horrible human invention - lending money with interest! Just don’t, unless it’s a mortgage or you’re building a history to get one, just don’t do it, it’s the biggest scam of our generation — credit cards! I recommend everyone to get this app and put all your debt in to it and look at it everytime you want to open credit card or use one, just to see how much more you gonna pay for all the goodies in a long run, and it’s gonna be a loooong expensive run for majority of us, sadly... One thing I wish they can add to it, profiles, so you can have multiple peoples debt on single device, other then that, awesome app! Thank you developers!!! 👍

Love it!. This app has helped us tremendously and I’ve recommended it to quite a few people. We went from a lot of debt to nothing but our mortgage and vehicles. We now have an amazing interest rate on our home and pay off credit card balances each month. We only use cards with rewards so they pay us to use their card. We pay zero credit card interest. This app has helped us create a plan and completely turn our financial situation around. We’re pushing to pay our mortgage off in the next five years now. Thank you for creating this app!

Very Best Debt Reduction App Evet. Easy to use. Extremely helpful along with being very colorful. Wonderful charts that are easy to read. Allows you to use different strategies along and also helps you to determine how each strategy will look in the future. Highly recommend!

Best I've found.. I'm a personal finance blogger & podcaster, and have been looking for a budget version to track where we are on our debt repayment plan. This, by far, is the best I've found. The reports are easy to generate, it's simple to enter in the debt and get an idea of where we are daily and still see the big picture.

Best Handle on Finances. This is the easiest app to see all your debt and goals in one place. The customizable goals as well as the numerous tracking, goal setting, and visual pay down options make this an app I can’t stop sharing with friends, family, and anyone sitting next to me on in a social setting. Get it!

Very useful App. I thanks the people creating this app. Its amazing. I have been struggle on organizing and setting things up to radícate my debts. This app helps me a lot. You can send pdf to your email on reports on regards to current balances. Also paint a picture on how payments need to be made and also how to save money. Excellent!!!!

Love This App. Had several debt apps over the years and most didn't do backups or were cumbersome in one way or another. So after I had to restore my phone recently I went looking around and found this debt app. Glad I did. Has many more features & fields than my previous apps and does Dropbox backup. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. 👍👍

Great Tool. ***update after using app for a year: Still a great one. I’ve gifted it twice and recommended to multiple colleagues and friends. Developer is still super responsive and I finally understand how to export a table showing what payment to make where by month. What I Needed to Succeed. With a little work my navigating the tools in Debt Manager became second nature. Accessing needed info revealed various debt payoff strategies and it was up to me to pick one then do the footwork to follow it. Best snowball app available. Runs well year after year. It’s very easy to navigate and has kept me on track paying off debt. If you are looking for a simple snowball app to give you some guidance or encouragement, then this is the app for you.

Helped Identify and Achieve Goals. Have used this App for several years now and reliably it’s helped me structure my plan and achieve it. And yes, the situation wasn’t good. This app made it so much easier to accomplish goals, revise as time progressed and now only have one year left on the plan! It really works!

Love, but one suggestion. I love this app and "look forward" to paying bills, never thought I'd ever say that. I like being able to check off each monthly payment and seeing my debt go down each month. One wish, a monthly summary page of the upcoming month that shows each payment amount, to whom and in date order, that could also use to check off each payment as they are made. Overall, the app is simple, fast and very useful.

Very helpful app. Beautiful layout and does everything you need. Ability to customize the order of debts to be paid. You can compare how much interest you’ll pay based on the strategy you use to pay your debt. I do wish you could sync it between devices.

Must have app to help you pay off debt. Easy to use- just add in all your debt and it automatically calculates what will be paid off first and then it rolls that payment into the next debt until everything is paid off. I like that I can look at the home screen and see all of my debt in one place and the day it will off be paid off. It’s motivation to keep at it.

Excellent Tool. I tried using another debt manager but it wouldn't allow you to adjust balances. I like this app you can add transactions to your credit card, the graphs give excellent comparisons between the snowball effect and no snowball effect. This is an excellent tool for understanding debt, looking into the future when planning for retirement and becoming debt free.

Very handy. This makes budgeted more fun, and actually makes you want to pay down your debt, just to see the percentage paid rise! It does take a little finagling at first to make your snowball, monthly payments and one off payments line up. But once you get it sorted out, it's easy.

App that helps plan and execute a snowball!. This app is one of the most valuable financial tools I have! It has helped plan an attack on debt and stay the course. At a glance we always know exactly where we are debt-wise, and what it will take to further accelerate the plan. We played with several scenarios before finding the right plan for us.

Helpful App for debt reduction. This App has been really helpful in keeping pace with current debts and providing a basic plan for paying it off. Gives a little level of achievement to pay off debts faster than the original plan and see a final zero balance.

Snowball? Snowflakes? WTH!?!. I’ve definitely heard of the Dave Ramsey method for financial freedom, but wanted to do my own version using a little bit of customization. I’ve been looking at tons of apps for almost 6 months. Looking at top rated ones, free ones, paid ones highly reviewed ones and little know ones. I pretty much gave up. I, in fact, started to program an excel spreadsheet because none satisfied all my requirements....... until now. This app allows you to input your data then review the lowest balance, highest interest rate AND a custom choice. It allows you to include debts that are not included in the snowball method as well as the ones you are going to use the method on. It lets you have a good grasp on all your financial debt. I just started to scratch the surface, there appears to be some reports but I will be learning that as I get further along. This app does not disappoint. Is it for everyone? I don’t know. But it is the exact right one for me. It is a paid app but I have more than gotten my money’s worth on this one. In fact, I’m so happy I don’t even begrudge the money I spent on the other apps as it helped me see what I didn’t want and appreciate this little gem! How good is it? Ive already shown it to my son to help him with his debt and talked about it to several of my less financial literate friends! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Confusing to Me. This app was easy to navigate and listing my debt was simple to do, but I didn't really understand the "snowball" concept. I always thought of the snowball effect was paying off debts from lowest balance to highest (and that was the default option) but the graphs and charts didn't seem helpful nor was it easy to determine how much extra I needed to apply to each payment to reach any goals. When I added extra "snowflake" payments, it did not reflect on my balances immediately. Another user suggested it would reflect at the end of the month which is not useful to me...

Getting Out Of Debt. I do like this app. It will help me to organize my debts better and hopefully keep me on track and consistent with my suggested payments. I do wish there was a way to put in another amount if I decided to make a payment that is more or less than the suggested amount.

Issue with Calendar and had to start over. I like all of the features. Well thought out. However, I started noticing the years and months changed and I could not figure out how to remedy without starting over. It's almost like the internal clock got thrown off. A bug to fix.

Great simple app. Works as advertised. Allows you to enter info about your debts and then compare strategies for paying them down using the snowball method where you roll the amount paid for every debt into paying the next debt as they are paid off. Good value.

Basic function is amazing! But a few snags.... I absolutely adore this app. However the small issues I have with it is it only is able to be viewed by turning my iPad sideways, which is plain annoying. I love the table function! Everything else works great though!

So Far So Good!. My credit cards were all over the place. This app helped me to get organized and it also made me realize that I was making late payments on several cards which was making me have interest penalties. I’m using the snowball method which is the lowest credit amount first and will be debt free in two years. Looking forward to it!

Excellent App. This is the best app I have used to manage debt and to set up a debt snowball. It did take a little for me to figure out how to use all of its features, however. Still, if you are a Dave Ramsey fan you will like the help this app gives.

Very good app. My only complaint is, for my student loans, it will not allow me to enter what my min payment actually is; but says "min payment must not be less than $x.xx".... Then, i still get the error when i enter $x.xx, so i have to add a penny. Some of my student loans I'm paying interest only, and paying off higher interest debt first. Anyway, so i add the difference as a transaction, so the math is correct.

Almost perfect. So this is nice app for simply logging debt and payments but I can't seem to find anyway to add to my debt. I had to make a purchase on my card and without changing the whole balance I can't manage to just add a transaction . This is my only complaint! Otherwise useful app

Great app!. This app has been invaluable to helping me get out of debt. I tried using other apps and excel, but they were so difficult to use and see the end of debt. However this app is easy to use definitely worth the money paid for! I know I’ll be using this and suggesting it to people I know!!

Great App!!. This app makes it incredibly easy to manage debts and keep payments straight. It's very straightforward. I would highly recommend this to anyone with any amount of debt to help you pay it off and stay organized!

If I just could add the date when adding new debt. The application is great, but would be great if would provide flexibility to enter new debts with the new date when was incurred. I find it frustrating to always have to do the workaround in setting up the pay free period to roll the debt to the day it was actually incurred. Nothing is static in life.

Having small issues with calculations. I really like the app and it has helped me keep things organized and helped me get my payments back on track and on time. As a result, since I’ve been using this since February, my credit score has gone up a little, which is needed since my student loans kill it, and two creditors that had previously decreased my limits (which was fine by me, less temptation) have since raised them again. I have one complaint regarding entering new payments. I set everything up in February, so all of my charts and individual tables start in February. When I went to add a new creditor, it backdated the “start” date for the payment plan to February, even though it is May. I tried deleting and re-entering and I tried looking in settings but it always goes back to the original month I entered everything. This needs changed. My interest rates/interest per month have also been out of whack. Some are right on track, some are off by 4 or 5 dollars. So to keep my monthly statements on track with this app, I’ve had to add a bunch of “one off purchases”. I’m not sure why this is happening. I’ve double checked all my balances and interest rates and still am having issue. It’s not a huge deal, but it isn’t working properly.

Very helpful estimates. Loading in all my debts and then using payoff scenarios with the snowball method is very helpful… and gives hope that I really am getting somewhere… and quickly.

Can’t reuse names. I don’t understand why I can’t reuse a name. If I type in Discover, I can’t start a new snowball with it because I already paid off Discover. Even if I abbreviate or change the name, the app still shows zero balance. Not very useful if you need to add something back to your snowball. I guess this app is designed only to be used once. I deleted it.

Simply Excellent!!!. I really like this application. It actually works as advertised. I've used 5 other applications purporting to compile, analyze, and offer a reasonable strategy based on the "snowball" theory and this is the only one that actually works without error. I'm no financial expert, just a regular guy trying to escape the morass of debt and I highly recommend it. This program will Really help you achieve your goal to eliminate debt within a reasonable time. Entries and calculations are effortless and I especially like the "snowflake" feature. Try this APP, you will not be disappointed!

Does more then I expected!. I wanted something simple so I could manage my credit cards. This exceeded my expectation. It has so many options. My favourite is the snowball one which shows reports of how paying a little more effects the interest you end up paying.

Simply Wonderful!!!. The app is easy to use. I like how it shows interest rate and payoff date in the summery. I like how you can see the monthly payments and how easy it is to show you paid extra or charged something to a credit card. Only thing I would like to see different is the summery screen. I would like it to list debts by pay-off date instead of interest rate. Other than that, this is the best debts manager app I have used.

Great App. I like this app because it’s a visual to keep you on track toward bill payoff. Kind of like tracking weight loss I guess...seeing the balances come down continues the motivation to stay the course. My only problem is that once you pick a “balance as of” date and enter that information, you can’t change it without the app backdating itself. As an example, as the Fed interest rate rises, obviously so does the rate on my revolving debt. If I change to the new rate, it “back dates” that rate all the way to when I started the process which in my case has been over a year. This obviously skews current balances. You can’t start with an interest rate on a particular date then change that rate months down the line to be effective on a new date and continue the process. You have to delete your current payment information and re-enter it with all new data (balance, effective date, min payment, due date, snowball amount, etc). It’s not a HUGE deal but you kind of lose the visual of all your previous hard work and are starting with a clean slate all over again. But overall, I really do like the app. Balances maintained pace within pennies of statements and it really is “addictive” in that you do become very motivated to reach your goals.

It doesn’t seem to work. This app works on my iPad but not my iPhone. Both have the latest iOS but the iPhone won’t sync with the iPad. I tried entering my debts one at a time on the iPhone and it won’t even save one entry. Needs to be updated.

A light at the end of the tunnel. I love this app because it gives you a payoff date, and allows you to see how extra payment above the minimums each month will affect that date. It can get discouraging when you're scrimping each month to pay down debt, but don't know exactly when you will be done. Great tool.

Love, but wish I could manually check in monthly payments.. I love this app. It’s very motivating. The only thing is, I don’t always pay on time/or the amount I initially indicated. Life sometimes happen. I would enjoy it if I could submit a payment on the app when I submit a payment to a debt. That is all. Otherwise, great idea.

Great App!. This app is great. The snowball paydown method is a great strategy for me. I loved how much I was able to customize my strategy within the app. Been using it for a couple of months now and I love it. This app has made me much more accountable and I’m sure will save me thousands of dollars in the long run.

Great app. Just what I needed to sort out my debts

Fabulous for Budget Planning. This is a great app for budget/debt planning and has great colours and charts. A little lacking on instructions but great support from the developers. Well worth the money!!

Best App for Debt Reduction!!. I tried a few other apps before settling on this one. It’s absolutely amazing!! The snowball effect calculation has been a personal nightmare of mine on a spreadsheet. This does it ALL with simple ease. Everyone serious about reducing debt should check this out!! :)

Complete life changer.. I don’t normally write apps reviews however this app is a life changer. The interface is clean and the functionality is fantastic. Out of all the apps I tried this was the only one that got me debt free.

For the cost of some lollies I have purchased this app and it is by far the most beautiful and functional app to manage all your debts and gain control to be debt free the quickest way possible. I have been using this app for many years and have been waiting for this update - it has not disappointed but the updates for the larger screens and all the added features are amazing. Puts debt in perspective. Great app. One issue is that sometimes the password function does not work and you can just open it straight up.

Great app but it needs updating. This app has been excellent to easily manage debt payoff. I am mostly happy with it but I would like to see some updates and unadapted functionalities.

Has issues. When I try to enter my minimum payment details, I get errors telling me the amount can't be less than a specific number. If I enter that amount, it still gives me this error. I'd like to identify bi-weekly "snowflake" payments but it won't allow you to choose that payment frequency on an account where you are required to make monthly payments. It seems to assume that we make minimum payments but in reality we over pay by making biweekly payments. It assumes we do both which throws the projections out from reality.

Amazing!. I love this app! So easy to use and really helps you to keep on track of your debt. Watching my debt go down really makes me want to focus on it more to get it down faster. This app is a life saver.

A Good App, Potential to be a Great App. Somewhat easy to use, could be a bit more easy for some operations. A great start, perhaps future updates will correct some minor flaws.

Problem. My region is Canada on iPhone, and on keyboard, we use comma to separate number, but you app use only dot, but I can’t put a number with cent like 123.45

Love it!. So far, love this app! It is far better than all the other debt calculator apps out there. I even paid for some and this one is much more user friendly and has so many more useful features. I love the ability to enter payments biweekly - one thing I would love to add is the date of biweekly payments (you can only enter the date due for monthly payments). Excellent app would recommend to anyone looking in this category!

Stay away.. This is thrown together. The only app I've ever regretted purchasing. If you don't care about quality design or user experience, go right on ahead. Otherwise I recommend something like Debts by Coopla instead.

Great App, Great Support. This app works very well and has many features not found in other debt apps. Support is quick and the developer is very open to suggestions. There has already been a couple updates, both of which added some great new features.

Eye opener (the good kind). This app was key to opening our eyes to managing our finances. Love the strategies, calculators, etc in allowing us to track progress, albeit, dollar by dollar. Thanks for being a candle in an otherwise dark room.

Awesome App. This is exactly what I was looking for and then some. It's perfect if you want a plan to get out of debt(s) and track your payments. At first it was a bit confusing but there is great instructions and after you play around with it you figure it out. Pay the buck, it's worth it!

Very Impressive. I am a fanatic when trying to find ways to complete the debt. I do actually think this program is a good starter for people wanting I get out of debt. I don't see any problems thus far but there are always gonna be something.

Nice App. This app has been very helpful in working out a plan to become debt free. It could use some refinement to use as an ongoing debt manager as it doesn't have the ability to add in new debt after plan start date.

I love his ap!. This ap is exactly what I was looking for. A quick on the go snowball scenario calculator that provided detailed reports. I couldn’t be happier and feel much more confident in reaching my goals!!

Overall good. Overall great. But I noticed that I can not use the commas for entering numbers. There is a key for it but it seems that it does not enter. Besides that this seems to be useful tool and give a good overview on where the money goes. Like it.

Exactly what I needed.. Helped me figure out different outcomes based on payment plans so I could choose the best option.

Great app. I use this app a ton. It is simple to use, it helps keep things in perspective, and keeps me on track with my bills and in touch with my long term goals.

Excellent motivation. Easy to read charts, motivating to see the debt reduced monthly and time saving calculators. I appreciate the intuitive steps for using this tool.

Missing functions. Seems easy to set up but then when you start making payments you notice it requires much more work. Not as easy or intuitive as it should be - focus should not be mastering the program but beating the debt

Great app. Very easy to use! I like that I can see my progress and get excited when I see 100% I like the update as well.

Covers the basics. This app covers the basics of what I was looking for. Making small adjustments is a bit more difficult and showing monthly payments is a bit lengthy. Overall a good app, but could use some improvements.

Easy to use.. I really like this app. It has helped me redo my budget and help me pay of my student loans. I have been able to easily adjust how I pay and when.

Perfect visual. I love how helpful it has been as I get out of debt. I love that it shows the different payoff methods; snowball, avalanche, and custom options!

Easy & Effective. The first app I found that will simply track my credit cards without a lot of hassle or complicated setup.

I thought it would be great, but.... I thought this would work great for me, but I just today noticed the amortization tables aren't correct for some reason. That is, they're showing fewer payments, and this an earlier payoff date, than is/are accurate. I'm not seeing the same problem in a similar app, so I have to think that the problem is with this app.

Is able to handle introductory interest rates we have. This is the only debt to buy a found that can handle introductory interest rates. This has been really helpful for our budget.

Best debt app here. I think I've tried every debt management app in iTunes. This is the only one that did everything I needed. Most notably I'm able to plan future extra payment on whatever debt or date I want. Excellent.

Great App!!. This app is the best one I've used and I have tried plenty of others. It's definitely user friendly which is what I needed. Now Im addicted to looking at this app everyday. I just love it!!!!😍

It took a while to figure it out, but then excellent.. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but it does the job. Starting off it’s not as flashy as other apps, but the charts/tables really grind down to the bone. And that’s a good thing.

So far so good!. I’ve set everything up and it appears this app is going to help me pay off my debt in a year. I’m going to stick with the plan. It helps having and seeing a goal in front of me

I love it. This app is user friendly easy to operate and figure out. It has ever aspect of figuring out your debt. I've looked at other apps but deleted them and kept this one.

Love it!. This is a great app to keep my finances in order. I love the option for reminders and the adjustments that show once a balance is paid on.

Pay pay pay. I like this app. It helps me keep track. I had 8 or so debts 2 years ago and was getting no where. Thanks to this app and my dedication il. Be debt free in 5 more years. 7 years total to debt free!!

Excellent App!. This app has helped me pay off my debt and stay focused on my priorities through the snowball method. It is easy to use and very easy to forecast payments. As a good reminder, it helps me keep out of debt. I love it!

Ok. Need to be able to be backed up to some other service in addition to Dropbox. Or just the data on device / iCloud (for IOS) is fine.

Great app but... I am really excited about using this app. I really love the ability to try out different possibilities with different payments called “snowflakes” and also options for balance transfer and rate changes ect.

Exactly what I needed.. I downloaded several similar apps - none of them compare to this one. It gives several options and scenarios. This is a great app.

It's ok. I like it but... When I add purchases it's not changing my balance. I also wish the due date for each bill showed on the home screen and I didn't have to go into each separate debt. It's a good program but I'm still looking for one I like better.

Amazing!. I’m aggressively paying off debt and this has been a lifesaver! I use it all the time to make sure I’m on track to pay off my debt.

Nice tracker!. This has really helped me keep track of what is outstanding, how much my monthly payments are and keeps me motivated by seeing both my progress and debt end dates!

So far so good. this app is almost exactly what I’ve been looking for to help keep track or and pay off my debt. I have no complaints so far.

User friendly!. It makes changes to balances easy, regardless if it’s adding or subtracting, to keep you on track.

Amazing. I love this app. I am one that I love seeing how much I save in money and time when I pay extra and that is what this does
