Sweet. Finally found a game that isn’t pay to play. 99c and you get a great add free game. Gameplay has been good, mechanics are good, graphics are fine. Overall this is the best game I have found in a long time.

Great game. A great game can you make it to were you and connect and play with friends? And can you make it to where you can build something to increase your supply?that would be great

Fun, easy to play RTS. Easy to get started and fun to play. A little confusing at first but you can figure it out. Definitely worth the $.

Simple but fun. This game is a little too simple, but it is fun and has promise. I bought it simply because it was one of the few games that actually let's you enjoy yourself without IAP turning your game into a tedious financial transaction. The design is excellent and I hope the devs continue to support it.

GAME DEV PLEASE READ AND RESPOND. The game is my favorite game so far. I am a fan of RTS games. This has nice graphics and controls. Please fix these: It seems in skirmish that the Ai can have more than 15 units, but most of all make the max units higher. Also you should make more different types of mechs and different defences.

Brings me back to old Starcraft days!. So cool! It's is pretty easy considering the enemy doesn't upgrade their units or you can mass attack and you win, even on hard mode. But definitely has potential! I'd pay for an upgrade with harder levels, multiplayer modes, and more drones per refinery. 4/5 stars!

Best game ever but no updates in a wile. I really love this game and the creators did an amazing job but there is so much more potential that isn't being used. And what bugs me is why can't we have multiplayer, boss robots more buildings, and a store not in match but to change you team color and like a hail strike ability and you might see were I'm going with this right, good, but again what an amazing game.

Nope. Pass on this game. It is not any fun and all the other revues are lies this game is bad! Difficulty very high no help in app just a cash grab from the developer.

What the HACK?. Why are the bots hacking? I can only have like 7 bots while the enemies have like 14 bots? Its unfair. They are also flying over water. The enemy bots have an advantage over my bots. Only 7 bots VS like 43 bots. Please make the game fair. Other than that, it is a very fun and addicting game!

Simple yet addicting. This game is great! It's not super flashy but the me mechanics if the game are simple and easy to master. There are deffinatly all kinds of ways to win the map and that's what makes it fun. The AI aren't total pushovers either. One map you might wreck them, the next they Zerg you with cheap but deadly cannon units.

Very Good!. I love RTS games and for an IOS game it is very good. I have a few things I'd like to say, I love the theme and the layout. The maps are perfect. I grew up on Starcraft and I think this app could be bettered and most likely make a lot of revenue if you add more upgrades to the mechs, and maybe add different kinds of mechs so that it can actually give more of a strategy feel to the game, like Rock Paper Scissors rather then a bunch of rocks. Besides that I'd say this game has to be the best RTS on IOS that I've played, I just hope you guys aren't done with it and actually plan to add to it because it's really good!

Stunning. Simply stunning. Great job on the graphics. I played many RTS games on all platforms and consider this to be the first well done RTS on the mobile platform. Congratulations. I hope with updates more maps and possibility of more than 2 players will be introduced.

Best hand held rts.. I have played plenty of RTS games and none of them on the IPhone compare to mech com! This game rocks! My only requests are to keep updates coming, bring on new chassis and weapons, upgrades for facilities, huge maps! And multiplayer would rock! Keep up the great work!

Simple fun. I ask for a simple fun game, and that is what this is. No forced ads and easy to get into. I would like to see more map diversity, but it is still a good game.

Very good! ✨👍✨. It has a lot of potential to make it big! I wouldn't mind paying for a multiplayer add-on, or a campaign. Because its great! Awesome work! Things that would make it better than great, in my opinion would probably be, adding more parts for making, like engineers, scouts, snipers, or the ability to upgrade resources building and turrets would also be great. Basically like the same concept most/many RTS have. Which is what makes a RTS game. In my opinion of course, I'm no expert. But, you know best! So keep up the good work!

An insult to Starcraft. I loved all the Starcraft RTS, and beat them all. I played them more than once. This may initially look like StarCraft but is not even a comparison. The game is terribly balanced. It’s a waste of time and money. Very little to no strategy.

Amazing Potential. This is another one of those rts games I love! It's like Warcraft and Starcraft. Amazing potential for more, keep up with the updates! A big nice update would be multiplayer? Where you could play on LAN/Online/Splitscreen? Everything else is awesome!

Where's the 'strategy?'. I'm not going to lie, out of the few RTS games on the AppStore, this is one of the decent ones. I believe, however, that this doesn't take much strategy to be succeed in. Just producing a lot of units. Its really about who can make units faster. The skirmish mode with the AI is fun, but I wish there was multiplayer. ---- Overall, I think you should work on creating a diverse selection of units, possibly factions. The fact that regardless of how powerful something is, it cant take out numbers, makes it pointless to get the upgrades. ---- If you want a good (better) RTS on the AppStore? look up RED ALERT 3.

Too many glitches. You can build two mechs and then no matter how much money you have I can only build 2/15. Those two can’t even beat 1 computer mech. The touch controls work horrible on the iPhone 13. And there’s no campaign….. not worth $.30

Simple, but addicting.. This is one if those games that doesn't look like much but if you like RTS games then you'll probably get addicted. The interface is simple, not a lot of different buildings or units, but the tactics and resource management are deceptively complex. Also, the ability to customize your units adds an element of personal style.

Joy For $1. The sea of mobile games may be over-saturated with cash grabs and cheap knock-offs, but you end up finding similarities for almost any game you’d want to play thanks to that over-abundance. MechCom was initially my answer for StarCraft on mobile and will immediately appeal to fans of that game. You’ll immediately start with building refineries for your all-important resource mining, and this step is key. MechCom has a finite amount of resources for each map and they’re clearly identified in yellow when you start. It’s like chess, very easy to pick up and quite difficult to master. There are four different types of mount for your mechs and four different types of weapons, and an armory will upgrade key points multiple times for a cost. Initially, you’ll just be able to craft a handful of mechs and destroy opposition, but bigger maps give more available resources points. Focus on just a few and enjoy a never-ending swarm of enemy troops until you’re broke and wiped out! The key here is to develop resource mining, keep it protected with troops or turrets, and quickly expand to other points to continue that resource flow. Here’s a quick chart to get you started: Machine Gun - Fast to build, but weak. Cannon - Stronger, but still weak. Laser - Excellent for single troops or buildings. Rocket - Point and shoot, powerful and able to hit multiple targets. Wheels - Fast, but weak armor. Hover - Able to cross over water and bypass roads. Legs - Fast and sturdy. Treads - Tank-level plating but slow. This review should have you started on a path of development. The game will get increasingly difficult with time, it can get frustrating when you get swarmed by the enemy but later missions become a really enjoyable skirmish with a few hundred troops expended by battle’s end! It’s fair to note that your troop AI is a bit dense and you’ll get frustrated with them not doing what you’re telling them, and the double tap to select units can be spotty. The mechanics are a bit sloppy overall but the presentation and replay value is great, it’s one of the best dollars I’ve ever spent on here and I highly encourage you to give it a try!

Great pick up and play RTS. I love this little game! Sometimes I don't have time to sit and play 1hr+ skirmishes and this game gives me a quick RTS fix when I need it. My only real complaint is it's lacking in depth. Would like to see slightly larger maps, more upgrade/research types, and more than 15 mechs on the battlefield. An actual story based campaign would be cool too. Other than that, it's a great game and definitely worth the small price tag.

Excellent Game! Well done!. I was pining for my old days playing Starcraft, so I searched in the App Store for it. This game saved me from total disappointment. There is no mobile Starcraft, which is too bad, but this game is a great mobile alternative. The concepts are exactly the same, futuristic units, base development, resource management, and of course total domination of the map. The game cost $0.99, and has zero ads, and zero in-app purchases. You don't reach a point where you either have to wait, face insurmountable odds, or spend money to continue enjoying the game. There is great variety in the maps, and custom game setup. The graphics are good, not too sophisticated, and the controls are super simple. I have experienced no glitches or bugs so far. Strong work GameDevTeam. This app stands out in a sea of commercializations and ads. I'd gladly pay $0.99 for a game like this any day over all the free ones out there.

Great looking & enjoyable game. This isn't the most intricate of real-time strategy games. In fact, the game is rather simple. If you want an RTS with dozens of different unit types and large, complex maps, this probably isn't the game for you (Take a look at Machines At War). That being said, the simplicity of this game makes it easy to learn so you can dive right into the action. It could definitely use a little mini tutorial, but still it doesn't take very long to figure out how to play. The game looks and sound great, the game play is top notch, the graphics are clean, and the software seems to be solid. I don't think I've experienced a single crash. If I had one minor complaint, it would be that moving to the harder levels just seems to start the computer off with more money so it can outbuild you at the outset. I would've preferred an engine that used more complex strategies as the levels went up, but I consider that to be a minor nit. Once you figure out a strategy of resisting the bum's rush at the hard level, it's not very difficult to win and I do hate games at which you can't win. In short, I can't find a single significant reason not to recommend this game. If you like RTS games, and you're looking for something simple & easy to learn I don't think you'll find a better choice. I know I've frittered away a fair number of hours playing. Kudos to the developers for a job well done. Thanks for the fun.

It’s a gem. It’s worth it! Where has this been the whole time?

Simple and entertaining RTS, would love to see more!. Simple resource gathering and base/unit production. Very simplified but entertaining and elegantly stylized. No annoying ads or in app purchases, just a fun series of (very similar) RTS challenges. I hope to see more depth or additions in future updates but this was definitely worth a buck for any fan of Starcraft or games cut from that cloth. Gets 5 stars from me for having no ads and genuinely entertaining gameplay for a buck in a sea of 3-5 dollar mediocrity littered with ads and in app purchases at every turn.

Fun RTS with lots of potential. Easy to get in and start building/battling. Would be great to have more maps, customizable maps, more unit and upgrade options in addition to story mode.

Amazing. Wow. This is one of the very few RTS games on mobile that is A. Fun, B. Not too intricate, and C. Doesn't try to screw you over with microtransaction bull. All I want is for the game to be slightly more deep. Like some more weapons for the mechs. Oh, and maybe have the rockets shoot on a randomized path instead of that one path they take. That's about it awesome job!!

Awesome Game!. Pure RTS with drag function and lack of learning curve that forces you to spend on game resources that's makes the experience mundane, finally comes this game which does it right! Other companies and their so called "RTS" should take note. I see DEV heavily took inspiration from Warzone as well as used some of the same sound from it ;) Keep it up and flourish it with more features and updates :D

Pretty fun, worth more than I payed. Bought the pack with all 3 MechCom games. Really enjoying the first one so far. Pretty simple controls, if a little touchy sometimes (pardon the pun). I would suggest trying out this one if you like strategy games on pc and haven’t found one for mobile gaming yet. I’m playing this on my 9.7” screen iPad and it’s working great. Don’t think I’d play this on my phone with its smaller screen.

Great game - I miss FASA. Easy to get started, gets difficult fast. Actual planning and strategy required. Not to mention you get to control roving bands of mechs. Needs more complexity, but WOW. What a great start! I was one of the 3 people who loved FASA Mech Commander. This is not in the same league, but makes me miss that game a lot. RTS for iPad...love it. If I could just build a super fast, agile Atlas mech it would be perfect!

Great Game, Could Use Some Work. I absolutely love this game, a simple, yet entertaining way to get in my rts fix without playing a 30 minute long match. However there is some room for improvement. I think the scaling weapons is kind of dull, weapons and chassises that all have strengths and weaknesses would be nice (I.e. laser dose bonus damage to building but can't fire while moving) I would also like to see some upgrades for the chassises and buildings. (I.e. refineries collect 20 resources per trip.) A way to control your workers would be great too. I hate when my workers go to collect in enemy territory when there are perfectly safe alternatives elsewhere. It also would be cool if your workers could repair your mechs at the cost of resources (or just make a healing weapon that can't attack) Multiplayer would be good too, maybe even some 2v2 maps (not sure if that would work) All and all I think this is a great, simple game. But I feel that beneath the simplicity there should be a layer of complexity.

Awesome game. This game is so cool but there is only 4 types of top half's and bottom half's I think it would be cool if there was shot guns, sniper rifles, plasma cannons, and heat seeker missiles for the top half. For the bottom half it would be cool if there were thicker legs and spider legs. I wish there was a healing tower so you could heal your mechs and other buildings and if you could up grade your parts for the mechs even more and up grade your money collector so you can collect money faster and so you little robot does't die as fast.

Great! Just add more buildings.. I really love this game, but every time I play it is the same thing over and over again. I think you should add a couple of things: -Mineral Lab: In here, you need 500 to build, and all it does is grow more minerals, but slowly. -Facility: In here, you need 150 to build, and this would be useful because you can pick of a small selection of tanks, aircraft, soldiers, etc. -And finally, another team: Image 3 people in the game, I know the story has 2 teams, but put 3 teams, that way, it would be more intense.

Like this game. Game on the iPhone that is alike Starcraft and halo wars. This game is pretty simple I would have to say. But to impress me more I would have to say a campaign is need and a map editor just alike Starcraft and a multiplayer. One more thing I would alike to fight more AI than just one on a map. Plus a team battle would be sweet.

Thoroughly addictive. Once you figure out how to play the game, it’s hard to stop.

Fun little game. Coming from a c&c fan this game is a infant compared to c&c series games for pc. That being said this game is MUCH BETTER than the actual c&c red alert game for iOS that i was extremely disappointed with and regret spending a single penny on. This game is not complex at all, takes literally 1 min to learn, is surprisingly really fun and has no in game offers. I really hate those in game offers and that was actually the reason i tried this. It could have more features but for $.99 this is a fun little game to eat up time on the go.

Good game. MechCom is a good game to play over and over again. What I would like to see is more things added to the game. New weapons, maybe different utility structures, playing against multiple enemies. It feels like this game has a strong base for add-ons.

AWESOME!!!. This is truly an amazing game! Simple, balanced and entertaining! Whoever made this game is a great person and I would proudly shake their hand! The only one thing that this game needs is to have multiplayer out in to it, even if they don't put in more weapon options or upgrades, this game is great and runs perfectly. Multiplayer matches and team battles are all I can think of to improve this already amazing game! Puts all the play to win games to shame!

Suggestions. One of the best if not the best phone rts games. But you do need more depth to the game. The same build trumps the hardest bot over and over. You can add a tournament mode, or a harder difficulty. But you 100% need multiplayer. This would be the best iPhone app of all time if it had a ranked online multiplayer. Tournament mode would be great if the bots got harder as they go or if you played someone online. But multiplayer is the biggest concern, and it will undoubtedly bring more players and a larger scene as a competitive game.

Fun RTS!. I really like this game, but it got to be the same thing over and over again. Maybe add neutrals to the empty bases? Also, add some more weapons for mechs. And maybe instead of when you upgrade a weapon/chassis, you can change the type of weapon, like an upgrade tree. For example: Cannon can be upgraded to Artillery Cannon, which can sit down and fire shells in an area of his radius. I think it would be cool to have specializations on a mech too. You could upgrade a mech to be like a tank, or a medic... Then you have to purchase the upgrades for that specialization. Also, increase the cap, but make the mechs seem a little less OP, and smaller so that they are like soldiers. This way you could have more mechs, but they arent as OP. I know its a lot, but it would be fun to see something similar, but I like the way the game is going!

Wonderful. Although this game is clearly abandoned by the devs, it is still a good game. The only thing it lacks is a deselect button during gameplay, which can be forgiven. The only thing I would change would be to add more factions to battles, since some maps are 4 way symmetrical

Fun, engaging, computer is predictable. I have played for a while and have developed a method to beat the computer every time which includes starting the game by building a second refinery. I do wish there was multiplayer, the game is now dull with the computer

More units. Downloaded before I seen second version but multi player if capable with teams 👌🏾👌🏾 so you can play with friends 5 stars tho love the game gives me my fix so I'm not to stressed about not being able to play Starcraft or starceaft2 on my fone

Awesome game. The actual gameplay is near damn perfect, I am just deeply shocked there is no multiplayer yet, unless I am an idiot and I can't find it :P Definitely worth the buy, and as soon as I get multiplayer I am buying it for everyone I know (slight exaggeration).

Nice offline game. I've had a lot of fun playing this over the years. This is my goto game to play when I don't have an internet connection. It's like a board game you've played a thousand times, but still go back to, yet a different experience each time...a great game 👍🏼👍🏼

Don't Underestimate. There are very few true RTS games available on iOS. But this game is definitely a true RTS. And it's the simplest to use. Cutting down travel time of units - gameplay is instantaneous. The developers have given this a lot of thought. And it's a buy once no more to pay - no sneaky in game hidden costs. Looks basic graphically but loads of fun to play.

Awesome game. Awesome game, heaps of fun and well put together.. Needs multiplayer please, would be even better with friends :) Ohh and bigger maps and more mech unit types and maybe a small description telling what each upgrade actually adds on.

Needs heaps more. No where near worth even 99c. Fun for about 5mins, until you realize theres no actual strategy involved, and only one type of unit to control, with limited customization. This would be amazing if it where actually an RTS, and had ALOT more content. Looking forward to updates..

A great portable RTS. I came to the AppStore in search of a fun and easy to control real time strategy game, and I wasn't disappointed! It combines simplicity with a great game to make an RTS that is perfect for beginners learning as well as veterans looking for a portable SC2/WCIII. I love MechCom and am looking forward to more content drops to expand the game further :)

Need More Mechs. The game is fun and all but theres not that many mechs and you can't place buildings where every you want.

A simple, solid RTS experience.. Command & conquer style gameplay in the palm of your hand. The arenas are fairly small, which can make for crowded combat at times. The solution is fewer, stronger units. Lacks the polish and flair of some other titles, but is well executed and fun to play. I look forward to future updates. Finally, it's refreshing to play a game without constant nagging to purchase in game content.

Dune !!. Finally a decent Dune 2 approximation for iOS :) However it's a bit raw. Specifically it's really easy to hit a stalemate once all crystals are harvested - they should ideally regrow back and/or capturing enemy base (or destroying a building) should earn you some $. Also, a pinch zooming would be very handy. Thirdly, some sort of finer-refined alternative to double-taping to select several units is also needed. Fourthly, a bit more refined and interesting 3D building models would be very welcome. As would be a bit livelier laser attack animation. Good start though. Keep at it!

Great but Hard. I came into this game expecting some cheap rip off, and I've played for 2 hours and was surprised at how much fun I was having. But even on easy difficulty it's hard for me. Maybe add a lower difficulty, like quick or super easy, where your minerals never deplete and the AI is tuned down a bit. I'm an RTS n00b I've never played an RTS game as fun as this. If you just add a lower difficulty, you can earn another Star from me and I'll suggest this game to all my friends. Please take my ideas to consideration.

Great RTS. Great game. Graphics and controls are perfect and the game is simple enough to pick up and play while still being deep enough to have longevity. My only complaints would be that the resources run out a little too quickly (makes long term planning unnecessary), the defence towers could use an upgrade (they don't last long against the stronger mechs) and building or unit repair would be nice as well. Other than that, I love it!

Very slick and smooth. Game plays smooth, quick and fun. I just played 2 hours straight when I should have been sleeping (wife going to bug me tomorrow). Hopefully the dev can add multiplayer to add longevity to the game. Capturing territory adds a nice element to the game for summoning units.

Good, Solid, and easy to learn RTS. I normally don’t write reviews for iPad games, but this one is an exception. The game can be really tricky At times and you just have to use strategy to get out of those spots. Also when you cut off the enemies (AI) cash flow, they can’t produce ships and are left defenceless. Which is great! GG’s to the this developer.

Really Really good. This game has no flaws, it's vary fun and it's isometric graphics look good. This is a really good game I don't know what else to say besides it's really good again, I'm speechless.

Needs multi-player. Okay, fun way to play and conquer, but we need to be able to connect and battle are friends from Game Center.

Good game...but repetitive.. I wish this game had... 1. Better and different music for each stage. 2. A champaign mode with a great story 3. Versus mode against my friends 4. More options in terms of armaments and maps Other than that it's pretty fun but you'll loose interest soon enough.

Great simple RTS. Distills down the various complexities of Starcraft and C&C into an easy to pick up IOS game. Scouting, expanding, teching up, all with easy one touch controls. Would shine with any sort of multiplayer.

Fresh and uncomplicated. Need more like it on the App Store. Next to no learning curve and lots of strategy options

Needs improvement. It's ok needs a lot of things like other teams and to make your own mechs and stuff

Amazing BUT.... ONE WORD... MULTIPLAYER! The game is fantastic if you are into RTS', but it could revolutionize iOS games if it is simply paired with a multiplayer support system.

Good, but.... Great concept! A little limited though, and find it funny that the computer can generate unlimited droves of drones. We are limited to 15...limit is 5 is you produce the strongest (also most expensive) drones? I understand being limited, but think the computer should be too.

Great game. This is the first RTS I have played on a tablet that is smooth and without unit lag. Just wished there was a way to group select the same type of units and make group hot keys. Great game overall!

Awesome little RTS. MechCom is great for any RTS fans out there. And the best part about it, is it's constantly evolving with more and more outstanding updates. Keep up the great work (and updates!)

Bring on Mech Com 2!. I play this game a lot and love it! Could use bigger maps, more enemies, maybe some missions....This game is the basis for something bigger. Hopefully the Game Dev Team is cooking up something for us...

Amazing Game. This an awesome alternative to starcraft! I do however, wish for more gameplay elements(such as campaign mode to accompany the storyline and unique units between APEX and Biosphere)and multiplayer.

Counters!. This is a very smooth and simple game, but being a Starcraft fan makes me want to see certain mechs counter others. Best game for a dollar tho, cheers!

Solid, awaiting more updates. Solid RTS game with easy controls. Could use some updates to maps and structures/mechs available

Good. Nice platform & fun. Game could use some info on what every upgrade does. Crashes often on large maps when I'm about to win. ;(

This app is super addicting and fun!!!!. If you like RTS games, then you should defiantly give this game a try. It's well worth the .99 cent price tag.

Great!!!!!. Reminds me of planetary annihilation. This game works and looks very well. It really needs a multiplayer portion of the game but overall a very awsome game

Feeds my StarCraft Addiction. Not a bad RTS. This is as close to StarCraft as I could find on my iPhone. Better graphics and multiplayer will make this a 5 star game.

So far so good!. I love this game! But it feels somewhat repetitive. This might be because the AI is predictable. But other than that it's a fun app.

Has potential. Really good game as it is but it could be much better such as adding a couple different units, multiplayer, more buildings and such but still great game keep it up you guys

Very Good. Fairly simple, but fun. An RTS, that can be learned quickly and played casually. At .99 cents, without in app purchases, it is rather well done.

Needs multiplayer and campaign.. Buy it if you like old school rts games. It's worth the 1$!!

Fun game that is simple and well designed. Really enjoyed this game. Has a great challenging strategy through all zones that I can beat but not all the time. Keeps me entertained.

Fun, simple game. Good game, with no nagging in-app purchases. Simple and fun. Could use a little more complexity (more units, buildings, upgrades), but a fun way to pass a little time.
