Excellent. Simply excellent

Love it!. My fiancé runs a body shop, one man show. Some jobs can take weeks, and some only a few days. The turnover rate isn’t a constant flow of in and out, therefore, to find this free invoice program was a blessing! For 2 years I’ve been searching for exactly what express invoice covers! Any program I’ve come across come with a subscription but isn’t conducive for the minimal tools that work for me. I love having the option to experience more shall that day come, but for the 2 basic forms I use, invoice and estimate, I’m above grateful that it’s offered to me without cost. The available templates allow you to customize the invoice with your personal taste. The final result is the printed organized and professional looking form that his customers can clearly follow and read, instead of the former handwritten carbon copy we originally began with! I have a full time job so if a last minute, if I need to, I can easily jump on the app, fill in what I need and print directly to his printer at the shop! This has been a game changer for this accountant, who IS NOT an accountant!! Thank you!

5 star. Great app, I use the desktop version and was super excited to be able to use on my iPad Pro, since that’s where I do most my work. Very easy, simple and plenty of amazing features. Was sick and tired of paying for quickbooks every month when I only used a few features. One request, I do wish and hope the developers will improve the look, make it look more clean and less grainy. The desktop version is gorgeous, but they need to improve the looks of the mobile version. Regardless this is what I’ve been needing.

Easy to use when it works. Very good layout and super easy to use when it works. So many bugs though. I paid $9.99 and it keeps asking me to pay again. It still doesn’t allow me to make more than 5 invoices and that’s on a lucky day when you are able to save them. When unlucky it will get freeze until you reset the app. But then you lost your work. I also have also wanted to contact support but it cost $57 to have access to it. Looking at the other reviews I noticed that the same problems have been coming back for years and were never fixed. Why am I having the same exact problems that some people were having 4 years ago? Instead of replying, why not spending time fixing the issues? That app should have been taken of the App Store a long time ago as it reflect poorly on the platform.

Very helpful on the go. Was so happy to see this app. It doesn't let you sync with your desktop software, but it's good for mobile invoicing. I especially like that it allows me to email a receipt to a client. Also, it will crash if you send an invoice using 4G. So, make sure you have wifi turned on-very annoying quirk that needs to addressed. Speech to text function isn't offered either.

Good Program but.... I have the PC version and was delighted to see an iPad version. Being able to sync between iPad and PC would be wonderful with this app. In this version it appears that the email function was removed. I never got it to work in the previous version. I was able to enter the settings for it but it would crash every time I tried to email an invoice. This version you see the email buttons but they don't appear to be functional; you cannot enter the settings or actually email. Maybe it's a bug that they are working on. It's a very clean looking app otherwise; they just need to fix it. Now I see unsightly ads in the footer of this software which was nonexistent in the previous version as well. Nice feature to apply discount on overall invoice. Problem is that it does not allow you to apply this discount pretax as an option. Speaking of tax, it does not appear to have the ability to apply tax to the total items in the order; it applies the tax rate to each item separately. Maybe this is why it does not or cannot apply discounts pretaxed. I would prefer to see a total of items, and then apply a discount, and then apply tax after the discount. Shipping/handling could be a separate tax exempt charge.

Missing key feature. The program is missing a key feature to me - the ability to Record and SAVE an invoice as PDF to Files folder. The desktop version does have that. I really hope in the future update it will be added.

Additional Updates Needed. I, like everyone else, likes the simplicity of the program, but I need it to outline the outstanding invoice by the due date per invoice not clustered by account name. I also purchased the program and one day it reverted back. Each time I attempt to restore the purchase it tells me it is unable to sync with the cloud. When I open the open invoice tab I would like to only see the unpaid invoice and have a separate tab for paid invoice that might need to be modified or repeated.

Language. Need Chinese version, please.

Awesome app. I am an avid user of Express Invoicing on my MacBook for 10 plus years and excited to be able to access the app on my iPhone while on the go!

Excellent. It does the job I need it to invoice clients It does that right. I just want to be able to attached files and photos. I hope they do that in the near future I like it

Shame of you.. It looks fantastic and for short time about 5 invoices works perfectly, but then you waste your time, because the app gone freezing and you loose all your information you feed. I give you 1 start for the 5 invoices. Thank you.

Nice layout but too many bugs. I want to use this software. Its pretty easy to use when it works. Right now you can not do an invoice and have it saved a d emailed at the end without the software locking up and all the information being lost. It is a major bug that needs to get fixed. The other issue is I paid $9.99 to have the three features unlocked and i still can only make 5 invoices a month. This is ANOTHER bug that should be fixed. It keeps asking me to pay another $4.99 to unlock that feature.

Don't waste your time. Could be great but they want you to buy before they'll offer support. App crashes every time I try to email an invoice. If I can't get support on something like that without having to purchase, then the free version is just a waste of time. Don't bother.

Crippled since the iOS update. After composing your entire invoice, it won't take the info and you have a blank invoice. Used to be good, but completely useless now.

No customer service. I have gotten no reply to my many messages. I bought the software and now it doesn't work after os8. Big fail.

Full of bugs. Do not buy this product. I up graded to the "professional" version and still got nag boxes asking me to upgrade. The email function opens but can't be closed. This is vaporware.

Review. Great app! Love the features but when the app is running it tends to give me a black screen. Only way to get rid of it is by closing the app and re-opening it. Please fix this problem. Thanks

Best Program for a Small Business. Great for my small business.

Unable to upgrade. I have been using this app for about a month. I went to add a new customer today and I was told that I could only have 5 customers. I currently have about 20 in the app. So I decided a would upgrade anyway, I don't want the hassle of setting up new software. When I try to upgrade it says starting purchase and then nothing. Absolutely nothing. Now what?

Love it. I can sync all my devices to one account and not have to lug around the laptop to every job site to create a quote and invoice. I can login on my cell phone or my tablet and give the customer the exact estimate to make the process easier. I would recommend this to any other business owner to make it easier for them too

No longer works, and lost my data. I used this app for a while as a trial, worked great until the latest iPad update. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled, that did nothing but erase all my previous invoices i had stored. Mind you this is after i paid $10 for the full version. Big waste of money, and i lost important data. i no longer trust this app, nor will i use anything made by this company. people use this for business, this is unacceptable.

Doesn't work on iPad. I was enjoying the app very much until iOs8 update. Now all the invoices need to be done and payments applied, but I can't even look through them or just open one, the screen freezes or blacks out. All work is on hold and it's terrible! Hurry with an update, please!!!

CRASHED. Have been using the NCH Express Invoice software in one form or another (Mac & iPad) for 3 years. Had a problem about a year ago, which NCH helped me resolve after a few emails. At that time I switched to using an iPad exclusively for my customer billing. Just last month (12/2017) I installed the latest Apple iOS update, afterwards the Express Invoice app started locking up every time the pop up menu came up (window that allows you to save/record or email the invoice). I have been unable to save, print or email any new invoices or quotes. NCH needs to get ahead of the game with updates. Customers, like myself, cannot afford to wait weeks or months for updates to fix incompatibilities between their apps/software & the platform’s operating system. I attempted to revert back to my Mac system & Express Invoice app, but it also is locking up (at app start-up). I tried to contact NCH about these problems, but have yet to receive a reply. I am so disappointed with NCH that I will be purchasing a different app for my invoicing & will no longer be using any NCH products.

5 GOLD STARS!!!. I've been using Express Invoice for over 4 yrs now for my small business. I must say this software is the best way to keep up with multiple customers and accounts. I also love the integration of the desktop version and mobile version. Synchronization between the two utilizing Dropbox makes all of this smooth and flawless.

Sync issue. I’m having problem with syncing the data between my iphone and my PC. Also I already purchased the ultimate upgrade same thing. Need to update the app

Absolutely the best .. I’ve been using this app for a few years now, and must say it is by far the best app out there, I have tried many other apps, and they just don’t compare, since using Express Accounts or ExpressInvoice which I was using first for couple years, then upgraded to Express Accounts, it took away all the frustration I was having, trying to work with other similar apps, there was always issues with the other apps, they just couldn’t get the job done, that was my experience anyways. I’m so much happier with ExpressInvoice / Accounts and so far have not had any problems with this App, and like I said I have been using them now for some years. Keep up the good work. I would recommend this app. RD.

Crashed. I have been used this app for almost 3 years. Today I lost all the data with no reason. Is there any way to recover it. I have not backed up .

PDF Invoicing only?. I want to email my invoice, but it seems that it only sends in a PDF format. Am I missing something here? Can my customer open his mail and see the invoice?

How to sync with desktop version?. For my business I use the desktop version of this software on my iMac (which I purchased). I am happy that there is a version for the iPad now, but I cannot figure out how to sync all of my info from the iMac version to the iPad app. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. My iMac Express Invoice version is 3.68. Thanks

Best business app in the store!. I've been using this app on my desktop for 3 years and it is by far the best and easiest business program out there, I want to purchase the app for my I pads, But it doesn't work!!!! your ratings are falling by the day! come on guys! fix it already..........

Needs Better Customer Service. When apple changes from I iOS software to another , It's takes the company too long to fix the bug fixes in it , Once you get it working right , It works great on your I Pad .

Don't download. The screen goes black and freezes. Have to close the program. Can't input either COD or Account on work completed on the invoice page.

Express Invoice. I’ve used the free version for years now and it’s been fine, albeit it has its little quirks. It did what I needed it to do, and that was fine. This year I bought a new iPad and the old program wouldn’t load until I paid the 9.99 for the professional version. I paid for it and have yet to be able to record/save an invoice and print. Once all the info is entered the screen freezes up and you can go no further. It’s useless as it is.

Absolutely best program so far. I own this program on 3 platforms and this is absolutely awesome. I love it so easy to use and very helpful.

Not happy. I have been using this app on an iPad 2 for 4 years. I purchased a new iPad generation 6 and backed up data off old iPad just in case my old one ever died. This day has come. I have spent a whole day trying to get the email service to work to send out invoices with no luck. Seems I will have to start over with a different program.

my thoughts. this would be an excellent app if it didn’t crash when after doing invoice if you try clicking anything but record and email. Also constantly asks to upgrade and i paid for this back in sept 2015.

Great, simple, but crashes!. Great invoicing, simple to use, but crashes when emailing! Everything else is easy and just what I need. It would also be good to send to printer also

Edit payments. Maybe it’s me but I don’t seem to be able to edit any payment mistakes or get a list of payments made by a customer

Still waiting for an answer to constant problems. If the company sees this message can you please fix the bugs that keep crashing your app. I have paid money as usual (even though it says it's FREE) should have known better. I have sent emails with the report from your app and have had no reply and cannot use the app I have paid for. An immediate response would be appreciated.

My thoughts. Took awhile to learn but after that was very easy and simple for me to use, always something to learn on it.

Can't restore from google drive. Would be a 5 star app if I could import my details from computer, as I use express accounts on my computer daily, it is very very good, please fix this issue!!!!! Or let me know if i am doing it wrong, will change to a 5 star then

Make lots of drafs. Most of the time when i make invoice and save it then it saved as empty draft already reviewed before.

Small business app. Its great software to small business.i like it

Web access. Web access very complex to set up on Mac version. Router needs a fixed IP address as well. The iOS version is completely separate from the Mac version, therefore the IOS version is not a window into your Mac info or vice versa. Maybe I just can’t figure it out.

Problem. Hi, I can not record my invoices or do anything when I get to finish it I can not record and email can’t do anything not happy with the app love the computer program but my computer messed up and can not use but do not like the iPad app at all

Lots of bugs avoid at all cost. I paid for the premium version and unfortunately the softwares was filled with bugs and not user friendly. Feedback: -some items would display the wrong quantity when the final invoice is printed -random freezing of UI -random crashing of app -invoice is ruined and need to create the invoice over again if you remove an item after the invoice has been recorded, this means there cannot be any mistakes or if a customer doesn’t want an item you would have to re-create a whole new invoice. Very time consuming if the customer has over 25 items. -no search function for items, must memorize SKU or scroll bar very time consuming inputting items

Don’t waste your time and money. I have been using express invoice for the past few years. The application works, however there are several drawbacks. My first and biggest complaint is the lack of customer support. Getting through to technical support representative is a nightmare, and unless you pay a subscription fee for support, you won’t get any help. Trying to get computers to sync is a nightmare, and if you do it incorrectly, you will lose all of your current invoices. No flexibility within the app itself to add contract terms and conditions. The developer rarely releases any updates. In my opinion, Express Invoice isn’t worth the time or money to purchase.
