Best parts of Doodle God and more.. This game is hilarious (and meta) and has multiple components. You can burn every item and progress the storyline (some effort can be involved, but it's not super challenging either). Or you can take your time and try to figure out combos (like Doodle God, except the game still progresses if you don't get everything). And then it completely changes gears and you get a different kind of game at the end.

Awesome Game. Stunning visuals, unique art style, interesting story line, this game is AWESOME! It's super addictive and it's TOTALLY worth the $5. If you are a parent and are kind of iffy on letting your child get this game, just let them download it... see if they burn anything

Burn! Burn! And... Well... Nothing else 😐. This game is SO repetitive. It was fun exploring what all of the items did, but really it all came down to a fire. The story was interesting, but the game took me a whole 3 hours to complete, with minimal replayability. I'm going to return this game immediately, but I hope others read this before buying. I should've looked through the reviews myself.

Need. It’s needs a golden fire when it burns stuff it turns into gold not into tomorrow bucks and it stays in the fire place and normal fire turns it back to normal but the laser pointer will melt it and not desintraged pls add! 990 tomorrow bucks to buy the gold flame Pls add to update and the golden stuff is more bomb proof

A game to always come back to for some twisted cozy ness. Honestly one of my favorite games since high school. The whole story is wonderfully done with a important meaning- but on top of that there is something strangely satisfying and cozy despite it being disturbing to burn your toys away. The graphics of this game will definitely give you a cozy warm vibe during the holidays and a new outlook once completed.

20/10 the most remarkable game in the App Store. When I first started playing this game it was ok, I was burning stuff earning money so I thought of it as the game that lighten me up when I bored (see what I did there lol anyway) but when I met sugar plumps there was a story I never knew about and it was awesome and then it went to the crisis I thought it was over and left on my iPad not even realizing it (mainly because I can't know anymore combos lol)but then after I got back on to it, it was almost to the end. When I reached to the end it was magical and inspirational making you feel like there is another then just playing video games because I'm telling you it will be the most awesome experience you will ever feel, so please get this game...

Breathtakingly beautiful...and morally challenging. This game is one of the greatest titles I've ever had the honor to experience. Some may wonder how a game about burning junk in a fireplace is any fun, but they'll not be disappointed by this utter masterpiece in gaming. I've played and beaten World of Goo (also wonderful to play) and this game gives me a lot of nostalgia from that game. This game is also challenging to take in. It's a satirical work of art that represents gamers' tendencies to be cut off from society and be enthralled by some that burns up money. While I do wish the ending could've told wether the boy found Sugar Plumps, I love the game and it'll hold a special place in my heart.

Speechless.. Oh my God. I NEVER write reviews. When I got this game I thought it was going to be a complete bust. I thought “why are you buying this? You just burn things. You’re going to get bored.” But I was so wrong. I’m glad I got this game and it was totally worth the money. The story. The sounds. The people. Were just amazing. I would give this more stars if I could. So if you’re iffy on getting this game... you should get it.

Great game but needs more updates.. When I say it needs mor updates, I mean it needs more updates to support newer iOS versions. I have a bug where I can’t even enter the game because the match on the title screen goes out, and then I’m soft locked other than that, great game, finished the story twice already.

Pretty and pointless. The fire effect is pretty. As for gameplay, there is none... Just select items and drag them up to burn them. The graphic style, ookie music and sardonic tone are lifted directly from one of the best indie games ever created, World of Goo (made by the same people) Do yourself a favor: skip this and just play that one.

Bug need to be fix in the menu screen. When I start it up there’s only one error the background in the menu screen was removed so can you fix that plz thank you

Amazing story and game. This game is very addicting and has some of the most unique and great storylines I've seen in a game for a while. The only problems I encountered were that it's a little confusing to 100% and that the beginning is a little too slow. Other than those, it's a fantastic game.

Best game ever. I've played it so long after seeing youtubers play it and I nearly cried when sugarplumps died then the ending was amazing I loved getting sugar from miss Nancy

DLC not “included”. The entry for the latest version as of 12-22 says “includes new dlc” ..I had bought the non-hd version of the main game years ago, and was fine buying the Hd version now to try the new content only to realize it’s yet another purchase for the DLC. I’m not mad and glad to support one of my fav developers, but it was a bit misleading or I’m just a dummy, also possible. Just want you to be aware.

Loved It.. When I first got this, I thought it would be a game where I just burn stuff and get more money than I started with. And playing has surely proved me wrong. Little Inferno has such a great story, very compelling, and I loved the way Sugar Plumps would write. I would love it if there was (somehow) a follow-up to Little Inferno, but based on the ending, it's not gonna get a sequel. In total, great game, great story, and I hope there might be more to the story.

World of goo. This is the only place I can write about this, why are there 2 paid versions of world of goo?? Both cost 4.99 and yet only one is on here asking me to pay for it again? What is going on? There is no other “version” of world of goo on here despite me paying for it despite me already paying for it.

A cute and awesome game!. This game is really cute and has so many different things to do! I like that you get letters and don't just burn things and find out the story line. In the end this is a really good game and I recommend buying it.

Such a simple game is much more than meets the eye. Sometimes I'm unimpressed with the editor's choice apps, but this game is one of the best games to have reach the App Store. It is simple and easy to play, never gets repetitive, and has a amazing soundtrack that always has me on the verge of crying. Phenomenal Game. This is game is really just an outstanding game! The graphs are phenomenal! And I love the concepts of the game. The only problem is that I wish there was more to do. Once you finish the game, the only thing you can really do is restart and do pretty much the same stuff. If the developers are reading this, please add a infinite mode/sandbox mode or just more just to do (not more combos please). Thank you so much for the great experience!

Let me be honest with you. Little inferno doesn’t seem like much at first, just a simple game about burning things, right? Wrong. You start to get letters from a little girl named Sugar Plumps, innocent right? Well she starts wondering what’s out in the world, she has a little inferno fireplace too and she’s wondering what is out in the world besides burning stuff. She challenges you to turn around, if you could if you wanted too. But you can’t, you find out you are stuck there, watching your fireplace day and night. Then suddenly *spoilers for this almost 10 year old game* Sugar Plumps literally DIES, and you don’t care, you keep burning stuff. Basically what I’m saying is get the game, it’s great.

I love this game so much. I play this a lot on my old iPad 2, and the game runs perfectly. I recently downloaded it on my new iPhone 7 plus and I'm getting a lot of slow down while playing. I'm also running the most current iOS (10.1.1) hopefully an update can help fix this!

Great game for this time of year. I have spent over 1000$ on iOS games and this is on my top 3 and has been for years. Great to play during the winter months because it adds to the amazing story that you get while playing this. A beautiful story with a dark undertone that works so well.

Not sure what the complaints are about. I own an iPhone 7 and it works perfectly fine on my phone. Hasn't lagged nor crashed once (even with 32 mini nukes) Very fun game but a dlc would be great with more catalogues and combos.

Best. Game. Ever.. This is my all time favorite iOS game and the holiday edition did not disappoint!! I was so excited to be able to play it again, but with some new twists. This game is so creative and unique, you just have to try it because it’s hard to explain…but you won’t be disappointed!

Games as art AND entertainment. I had a lot of fun playing LI. And then I spent a lot of time thinking about it once I was done. Is it a meditation on the end of childhood? A satirical takedown of our consumer society?i don't know. What I can tell you is you will happily spend hours burning items in your virtual fireplace, then, after the end, feel perfectly OK with having burnt away your time.

Not worth the money. It kept me entertained for an hour or so. I pressed through because people said the ending was worth it. It wasn't. The developers seem to think they are too clever by half. Some of the clues for combinations were fun, but that quickly got old. I know the gameplay loop was aped from freemium games to satirize them, but it's still a crappy gameplay loop. I hate timers on anything even if it's to make a point rather than take my money. But at the end of the game I feel like it was a waste of 2.5 hours and $3. If that was their point in making the game, they made it. But I've had genuine joy and pleasure for my money in other games.

The best and underrated indie game ever. This game is by far the best and underrated indie game out there. It takes something simple, like burning stuff for fun and making it into something more then just burning stuff. The combos keeps you going and brainstorming on what the riddles mean, the items you burn are not only bizarre but makes you curious on what they do, and if that’s not enough; the little story behind it with this girl name Sugar Plumps, will make your heart beat for this game, and the incredible music makes it perfect. Even after 6 years since its release, it stands against time where its still fun and gets the inspirational message across with its story. I hope the developers consider making a sequel to this game, with more wacky combos, items and another great story that would make you melt with the game. (Pun intended lol). If you’re thinking about playing this game or not for sure what game to play next, I highly consider playing this game, it’s really worth the money.

Who knew😄. I was very very surprised on how awesome his game is. Who knew that burning stuff for money could have a whole story to it! Some people seem to be completely missing the point. The philosophy behind this game is terrific. How much of your life is spent staring at the digital fireplace of your iPad and computers, seeking constant entertainment and simply burning your money, time and energy for no reason? Not to mention all the other consumer rubbish in the world that we want but really don't need. The game shows you this. It's telling you to step back from all this, look at how you are spending your life, use your time wisely, productively and beautifully in the world. CREATE something of value, help others and leave a legacy. Just like the authors of this game have, when they threw this deep message into the endless stream of mindless entertainment we have at our disposal. Bravo, chaps, well done. The glitch.. Hey guys. This is my favourite game and I love it. Its so fun and I enjoy it. But there is a problem and I can't fix it. I open the app and I get to the part where it has the title in full screen with a match stick. I tap the screen and the match flame goes out. What's going on. Please fix it. It's really upsetting

Pointless. I've never written a negative reviewn before, but after wasting $5.50 on this completely pointless 'game' I feel I have to give fair warning to all potential buyers. The description says that the less you know about it, the better it is .... But really, that's just a clever way of disguising the fact that there is nothing in this. There is no 'game' at all. To be totally truthfull, I only played for about 5 minutes. So there may be some out there who would say I needed to play for longer, but there was nothing going on to encourage that. I was struggling to work out what I was supposed to do because there was no tutorial, but of course, there was no tutorial because there is, literally, nothing to do. You put things in a fireplace and burn them. That's it. While trying to figure out what the 'game' aspect was, I found that you can earn 'combos' by burning things together. So to 'achieve' the 'cycling pirate' combo, you burn the bicycle and the pirate together I kept looking for the puzzles only to eventually find, by reading an online review by some poor soul who, as part of his job presumably, HAD to play the whole thing, that the 'combos' actually were the puzzles, burning multiple things at once! - That's right, that is all it is. So if you've got incredible patience, or it's for your job, and you don't mind shelling out $5.50 for a 'game' that would be expensive for $0.99, then this one is for you.

Do yourself a favour and buy this game.. The perfect game. So original (as was World of Goo) with beautiful graphics and a simple yet absorbing game play and story. Both touching and with a nicely wicked sense of humour. Unlocking the huge range of items to burn is addictive and the graphics as the burn is beautifully detailed. For example the game tablets' screen breaks revealing circuit boards beneath.

Love this game but it's currently broken :(. Felt like playing this again recently, but sadly it won't load, I click the match and then nothing happens :( Please fix! I love this game.

Review of Little Inferno. I was really hoping the dev. Team of little inferno could/would make an ipad version of it, and 1 month later!!! Here it is. The physics and control of the game is amazing, even better than the steam version. I love this game so much. Best $6 i spent on an app!

Ummmm?. I love indie games, so when I saw all the glowing reviews and awards I bought this "game" sight unseen. After playing it for 10 minutes I found that it would be much better suited as a clever Flash diversion rather than a $5 commercial app. I could go on but I will just cut my losses and put it down as a learning experience; from now on I will always do my research before I buy a critically acclaimed, overpriced tech demo disguised as a game.

Can't get past title. I can't get past the title screen but I have played it on my friends iPad and it is really fun and I really want it to work on my iPad

Crashes. I love the game but it keeps crashing in my brand new ipad. I purchase items and it crashes, I start to put items into the fireplace and it crashes. Each time it crashes I lose items or money or both. These bugs need to be fixed as it is extremely annoying. Once you remove the bugs then it will be perfect!

A Masterpeice. Little Inferno is an amazing game. The fire animation and the visuals are just great. This game carries a strong message and can be quite emotional at times. Plus it lets out the pyromaniac in all of us. Defiantly worth $5.

Slightly disturbing, fascinating, unexpected. This is a very different game. It has an ultimate plan that goes beyond just burning things - that is evident from the start. I just wanted to know what it was actually about and the hints are there. I found many of the burning challenges cruel and detached so that they were disturbing but that discomfort is deliberate or at least a bonus if you sit with it and play to the end.

Amazing. Everything about this game is wonderful, the graphics, the story, the black humour throughout it. I highly recommend it and can't get enough of it! 😊

Warm game with a big heart. I loved this. The game was funny and sad and heartwarming. The item descriptions were hilarious and each item burned in a unique way - some of them were quite inspired. Finding the combos was lots of fun, I didn't get them all as I got so caught up in the storyline I wanted to see where it went. I found the ending quite satisfying. All up it took 6 hours, but I am a cautious player. I gave it to my daughter & told her to just play it for 5 minutes and see what she thought. 40 mins later she was still playing, burning whole fireplaces full of stuff. She found the combos before SP told her about them. Not suitable for little kids, as the humour is quite adult, and the storyline is a subtle one. Wish there were more games like this one. Beautiful on the ipad, too. I loved the soundtrack as well.

AMAZING GAME. I love this game sooooooooo much it has such a great story and it is super fun to burn thing slowly every thing pieces together so there may be a few bug but it's definitely worth keeping for when they get patched over all great game and I highly recommend

Cool game. It's filled with catchy music and colourful themes but the reality behind the story is quite sad and depressing. It's addictive though, I couldn't stop playing till I finished it. The ending seems incomplete, follow-up game coming maybe?

5 star IF.... This game is amazing, the effort into the flow of physics is amazing, it's incredibly smooth and entertaining. But, for the love if god, please fix this crashing, I average 2 crashes every 5 minutes, loosing a few items before i get to burn them. It is getting to the stage where it is ridiculous and I can't sit there and launch it once for every item I burn. 5 star -1 for crash.

A truely flaming game. Now I know what your thinking, really burning everything? Lame... But, there's more to it then that... Although the creators of this game are evolutionists ( or something like that that) and I am a Christian this game has has had a huge emotional effect on me, like this game literally made me cry at the end. The creators of this game must have a good emotional side, a good perspective on life and a HUGE imagination. I highly recommend that anyone with an emotional problem in their life to get this game it is AMAZING!!!! If you don't want to pay that much money for this, you should really watch a play through at least....

Awesome game. This game has very good graphics and is very fun. The waiting times can get annoying when you run out of stamps though and the curtain looks better than the burnt curtain. I am about to do a second play through without burning the free hug coupon, and hopefully get an alternate ending. a new catalog would be fun, one containing ancient things like knights and cavemen, mammoths and DINOSAURs but I don't know why but it would be fun To bUrN it!!!!! Doesn't work on my device. Saw this game a while ago, been waiting until they brought out a mac version so i could buy it then they brought out the iOS version. Was over-the-moon with enthusiasm and decided to download it as was on sale. $0.99 was only compatible with iPhone 4s and up and also iPod touch 5th gen and up so it won't work for me as i own a iPod touch 4th gen. Thought that the HD version would work and it didn't say otherwise in the app details and listed that it was compatible with iPod Touch 4th gen. I was very frustrated that after purchasing this $5.50 app than it wouldn't work on my device. To all other people who wish to purchase this app, please make sure that you don't make the same $5.50 mistake than i did. Very disappointed

BURN ALL THE THINGS!!11!!eleven!!11. Sometimes it crashes - particularly when you put *LOTS* of things in the fireplace - it will crash and you lose all the items and don't get back any money for it, but I didn't care. It was fun just burning more stuff to get the money back! Just finished Little Inferno HD on my iPad. It's a gorgeous little game. Well and truly worth the ten or so hours it takes to finish it. Be sure to keep burning all the things - right to the end!

Please. Awesome game but would it by any chance be too much to ask to get rid of delivery time when the game is over and I'm back at the sandbox version and it's really fun to mess around and stuff but having to wait 5 minutes or collect a bunch of stamps to do everything is really anoying, but other than that it's and amazing game!

Fixed one bug, but now there a new one. At the end of the game when you get the final combo the fireplace starts spazzing out. But it just gets stuck there. I think it's another bug.

Not for me. Thought it was simple and boring.. All you do is burn toys and make "combos". No objectives, no skill, super boring for me after about 5 minutes. Read reviews on the Internet before believing the 4.5 star Apple rating. Reminds me of little big planet - which I hate, but some really liked. Maybe this game is for you, but maybe you'll feel completely ripped off for paying $5 like me.

I bought this game thinking i would enjoy it but nowl i am so mad at experimental gameplay group and i wish i could have a refund. This is as amazing as it ever was. I can’t believe it’s being updated, what a welcome surprise when I found it working properly on my iPad! Seems to still have weird bugs with the volume though. One causes the sound to stop when paused by Siri or the app switcher, the other appears to keep turning up the volume although that could be something with my ipad that I just noticed with L.I.

Meta Goodness. The storyline really makes this game. In a dystopian future where global warming has created an endless winter, there's nothing to do but buy and burn toys. The characters speak philosophically about the hours wasted staring into the fire, never bothering to turn around or speak to others. And of course, in the real world, you're doing the same thing. The plot is sad but also beautiful. This is all surprising given that you're just trying to get all these silly combos. Played it twice.

The “your photos” isn’t working for screenshots. I can’t get the game to use screenshots and the game never asked if I wanted to allow it to use photos so now none of my photos show up.

Perfect. I heard people talking about this game ever since it came out, I wondered why it was so popular. So i looked it up on my PC, downloaded it and started playing it. It was a pretty cool experience. I got towards the end and after I finished it, I can proudly say the ending made me tear up. This game has to have one of the most phenomenal storylines ever and the fact that everyone in the game is breaking the fourth wall with depressing quotes really made me think its great. What is all the hype and tears about?. I feel like I'm wasting my time burning stuff. There's no critical thinking required at all. Deleted it after burning 7 or 8 things. If there's really more to it, maybe I'll check back in 6 months and see if there are more reviews that are less emotional.

Barely Playable. Downloaded for iPhone 7 plus and once you start lighting things on fire, the game is not usable. Everything slows down and touches are barely registered.

This game is really stellar.. A really great story packed into a cute little game. One of my all-time favorite games.

No Spoilers - Full review :). I gave Little Infernos five stars because it's pretty good for a phone game and theres more to it than you'd think. It took me 5 hours to beat but I used walkthroughs for some things, and I played it consecutively all night with no breaks. It would most likely take you longer than that. It comes with 3 save files.. ya know, like a real game! I'd say its worth the 5 bucks. The catalogs are funny, theres a few references to other games and real life scenarios. But when I read the reviews, I was expecting something mind blowing with a strong message at the end. The ending could have been better. They kinda leave you on a cliff hanger (literally!) which I always hate. Also, the game lags quite a bit. It might be more fun to play through it entirely without walkthroughs but its almost impossible to get all the combos if you don't recognize every reference and subtle detail. If I could give you, a new player, some advice - it would be to make note of everything you send to sugar plumps (4 things) you'll need it in the end. also, don't be stingy with your coins and stamps. spend them freely. open as many slots as you need and save items you think are "special" theres really only one that affects the end but I won't tell you which one that is! overall, this is a good game. if you like tim burton and somewhat "goth" things, you'll definitely appreciate the art in this game. I bought this without hesitation because I played world of goo years ago and bought it again to play on my phone. The developers really put a lot of effort into their games. The only complaint I have is that the ending COULD HAVE had more to it. But that doesn't mean it's not worthy of it's 5 star rating.

Amazing Game, but it's broken.... The iCloud issue has persisted for about a year now. Even with this "fix", my game still does not load past the match being blown out after it opens.
