Useless for the money. Unfortunately sometimes even I get suckered in. This is a useless piece of app, which spent a grand total of 2minutes on my ipad for $1.99

Good app. Especially if you have a reading knowledge of both Chinese and English but either one gets you well formatted Perl man and tutorial pages. Scaled well to OS 6 and the iPhone 5

Nice little app.. Good for those starting out in perl who need a place to practice their code.

Great for beginner perl. While the GUI is quite painful to look at, as far as basic perl programming goes its one of the better ones I've seen on the market. Great for someone who just wants to write simple code at the beginner level. All of you complaining that it does not work, remember there are certain limitations of the device that the app devs don't have control over.

Still Evaluating. Seems to be functional. Very obnoxious pop-up reminder appears much too frequently. Could be a 4-5 star app, but not willing to deal with continued reminders to find out.

This is not what you want.. Horrible english translation, very buggy.

Nothing but crashing. (Was: Confusing UI). The iPhone UI is a mess. Pretty tough to figure out how to do anything. Edit: Now the app just consistently crashes on startup. Bummer.

Tutorials are oddly written and contain this offensive gem.... A quote from their tutorial "Think of the President of the United States: a messy, inconvenient bag of blood and bones." That is quoted verbatim from the first tutorial, line 35.

Great app. Fantastic and very handy

PERL. So far, this has been the best IDE for the iPad. I have used all others. This app even offers a vast amount of options via its extended keypad functionality. This is the best option with the apps that are presented via the Apple App Store.

Tried on iPod Touch 4. Installed, had to use older download because touch is limited to ios 6. Runs, but there's no execute button, just some useless md5 encoder function where execute should be. Can't run code like I can on my iPad. :-(

Decent. Offline compiling, that's pretty great. Leaves a bit to be desired with the text editor, tapping on the end of a line doesn't bring the cursor to the end of the line, instead you *must* tap and hold the last character of that line to move the cursor there. Quite frustrating, but for learning purposes it's a decent app.
