Awesome game!. So far this has been a fun game to play. Can't stand the little HOG games... Recommend this game highly!

Not a whole lot. It's a good game, the puzzles are alright and the visuals are pretty good. But it was so quick. There really wasn't much to it. It was about the length and quality of most free room escape games, but it charges money. Save your two bucks.

Challenging.... So the game is very challenging... and not always in a good way. There are no instructions and no hints, which in a way is fine because it makes you explore and figure things out on your own. But as another reviewer stated, things start getting nonsensical and there's no option for even a small hint to help you decipher the game's internal logic. One example: you have to find pieces for a grandfather clock in one of the rooms. You get them all, except it's still missing its pendulum. You could search forever for this pendulum, but you'll never find it. However, something already in your inventory (something absolutely nothing like a pendulum) can substitute for the missing part. How would a player ever know this?! In addition, as the game goes on there are more and more doorways and rooms and sub-rooms. None of them are marked in any way and there's no map, so you keep going from place to place trying to figure out where you'd seen something that you now need. And once you finally find the area, you sit there like a dementia patient thinking, "now what did I come into this room for, again?" On the positive, the graphics are well done and aptly creepy for an app of this title. I liked small touches like tapping on certain objects in some rooms causes a voice or a visual effect. It could really be a great game if the logic behind tasks wasn't so random... or at least give the option of a hint every now & then.

Great but. Why is there a stupid frame around the entire game window the whole time you play? The game actually looks pretty good but you have a horrible looking frame surrounding the whole picture...

Interesting puzzles. I like the challenge the game offers. But I've been having a little trouble with the mechanics of maneuvering through the scenes. Not sure if it is on my end or if it may be the software, etc. I've played other Redbit games which I am a fan of this company's games. Would like to see more development and more games. Quality of the games are superior to others I've downloaded. Please continue to keep up the great work. Thank you, G.

constant hints ruin it. Dear developer. Stop with the suggestions and hints already. Part of the fun is figuring out the clue and associations. If u keep telling me what to do and what's important, what's the point? I had high hopes but had to stop playing.

Loved it!. I loved this game!! It has amazing graphics! And the puzzles are not too easy but also not frustratingly challenging. Great fun!!

Great Game. These games are my favorite playing at night , creepy horror but also very trilling and engaging. The instant gratification you get from hard puzzles are addicting. Will be buying the new ones they will be making.

A for ATROCIOUS. I’ll give this game two stars considering it’s quite a few years old, but that’s still no excuse for the $1.99 atrocity that awaits you. Amidst the plethora of games in this style I’ll never understand why the same flaws are never rectified, or at least improved upon. The only redeeming quality this game offers is its short length; let’s thank the developers for cutting the time play for this mess. Absolutely dreadful graphics, I mean, horrible. Muddled designs and catastrophically poor color schemes with a complete void of artistic flair. It’s difficult even knowing where to click in this high-contrast swamp of crap. The puzzles are mindless and nonsensically irritating. Why the hell would I use a coin for half of those things?? It’s a shame really, the developers having a decent level of programming knowledge and awareness of interface but to slap sloppy artwork and crap puzzles and call it complete. I honestly don’t mean to be rude; it’s constructive criticism for I have faith you can turn out way better games than this.

Excellent!. Really enjoyable game. Difficult, but not too much. Beautiful graphics, good story line. I highly recommend this game. Cannot wait for the full version of Haunted Manor 2!!

Not everyone knows how to read music. I'm stuck at the piano because I have to play a sequence in order. I'm sure it's related to the painting but I don't know how to read music and many people don't. Very dumb you don't provide any clues if you don't know music theory.

Cool game. I have really enjoyed the puzzles in this game. So far so good, but I can see that things are getting harder.

Kind of creepy, mostly lame. This game doesn't distinguish itself from other hidden object games. I liked that it had some creepy moments when clicking some objects, but other than that there is nothing to recommend it.

I like it. A cross over of horror and puzzles. It's worth the buy. Finished the game and can't wait for 2. ^^

Word UP. I was able to play this game on both iPhone and IPad. The graphics are great, music is stimulating, puzzles are challenging and the storyline keeps you intrigued. I can't wait for part 2. C'mon DEV TEAM, let's go! :)

Not bad. This is one of the better "escape a haunted mansion" games. It's challenging without being impossible, but sometimes the answers can be slightly oblique. As other reviews have mentioned some of the puzzles can have solutions that make little logical sense, so you devolve into aimlessly tapping around the screen until you stumble upon the way forward. The clock puzzle is one that springs to mind. My only other complaint is that while the art can be well done, sometimes the backgrounds are murky and bleed together making it hard to differentiate. All in all I'm enjoying Haunted Manor, and will likely continue the series once I've completed this first part.

Fun!. This is a well made, albeit short, puzzler in the spirit of "The Room". Good atmosphere, although it could be a little more polished: a couple typos (dev's non-native English I'm guessing) and art that shows objects from far away that are no longer there close up are a couple examples. Also length is a factor. It's 30 min to an hour of fun. Worth a buck for sure.

not fun or scary😓. i only got the front door open by pausing the video playing in the description of the game and looked at the symbols highlighted and now i got to the inner room picked up the bear and now im stuck on one puzzle🧩 where you shuffle the pieces around and the only way you can get any help is by going on facebook ( failbook to me ) am dissapointed their is no strategy guide in the game ( deleting never to redownload again ) (btw wasn't scared with flashing lightening and two shadows illuminated by said lightening )

Not Clear?. Things are not always clear, and sometimes it's hard to tell where to click.

GREAT puzzle game!. This is a fun, legitimately challenging game! You actually have think with some of the puzzles and not just be a good "finder". Wish it was longer!

No coherence. This game was ok at the very beginning but as I continued playing it started not making sense. There was no rhyme or reason as to why you had to do or find certain things. Not enjoying having to go all over the place over and over. The Room was much better.

Amazing. I've been playing this for years. waited what felt like forever for the second one, but now that it's out I can't wait to play it. i absolutely love this game.

Spooky and Well Made!. Great graphics and well fitting spooky music too! Devs gave much attention to detail and the puzzles and clues are a challenge. Not to the point of pulling your hair out, but not easy either. Some of the one-time triggered messages when entering a new room or completing a step/puzzle seemed to disappear too quickly. A very minor flaw. Thank you for the Halloween treat and offering this for free! Wishing you success with the sequel!

Couldnt play-bug/glitch?. I loved this game until a glitch forced me to stop playing. In the kitchen is a knife you need to progress in the game. For me...that knife wasnt there. Therefore I couldnt finish this game and sadly I am deleting the app now.

Thriling game!. Very ghostly and puzzling game. I think it's more creative than some terror with puzzle games! Obscure, with great sounds, makes your gaming experience creepy and awesome! Totally recommend it!

Definitely Worth the Download. This game has a great balance of mystery and excitement along with impending danger as you solve puzzles and find your way around. You keep finding yourself thinking, "Oh no... Where will this take me. On the other hand, I can't wait to see where this takes me!" The game is fun with a perfect amount of creep factor.

Good game, need to look everywhere. This game, though made for iPhone at .99$ worked fine on iPad. Take your time, look everywhere, go back and forth to all room, as the clues are connected. If you are impatient, go elsewhere

Disjointed. Like so many adventure-puzzler games, the puzzles are very disconnected I from the story. I mean, come on, you solve all these puzzles in a haunted house, and at the end some spirit says "whoopee, you have freed me!" They bailed out on a promising backstory. Typical.

Good game. At some points it is really hard to make out what the items you have are, since there is no description once you tap on them. Apart from that it was real fun!

Great game!. Worth the wait...I'm a little embarrassed to say that I'm stuck on the clock puzzle, can't find the missing piano key, and the candelabra is frustrating me lol!

Awsome!. Only crashed once, but at the most exciting part! It was when I finished the game :D but I launched the app and it worked again flawless . If you don't get the story , Katie came exploring this mansion but then got kidnapped in it ( I think ) and then she got killed and ether thrown next , to, or in some river and the police find her. Then when the game is over , you free her sole from the evil teddy bear spirit that was imrisoning it , but then your sole gets captured...I THINK . Guys this is a great game , and if I made it sound funny or raduclis it's not ! It's a great game you should get it!!

Excellent and Challenging. Yes, it is unrealistic that these disjointed puzzles would be all over a mansion for you to solve. It's a game though, and isn't that what games are supposed to do? Make us imagine that we've encountered car problems during the middle of a torrential downpour, to discover a peculiar mansion. Instead of helping ourselves, we take on the task of finding out why this mansion seems to be stuck in time. Discovering the odd and sad story of it's last occupants, and hopefully trying to save them. The game offers many challenges. If you play the brainy version, be prepared for no clues and touching your screen like mad. If you play the easy version, when clicking on a clue a few times you get a good hint or a vague hint as to what you need to find. Overall, one of the best room escape games I've ever played.

Worth the money. Good puzzles, English could use a little work. I played this, enjoyed it, and will happily support any subsequent installments. The English could use a little work, but all in all I found this game engaging, visually appealing, and overall worth the money.

Haunted Manor Review. This game is a true masterpiece. The graphics are amazing, the sound and music is touching, and it has the true spooky feelings to give nightmares, just perfect for a Halloween game. The game didn't take much memory to download, as I have gotten the entire series. As for the mazes and puzzles, I love it. I won't lie, I had to go on the internet and look up how to get past a small part, mainly when I was captured. Overall, this game is 5/5. -evanax01

Challenging Fun. A bit hard to get started but once I got the hang of it, this game was a blast. Hats off to the developers. Hint system could use some work (Facebook? Please...).

A basic point and click puzzle story. This was pretty good— the graphics vary from middling to some very clever extras that just help the atmosphere a bunch! The story really could use some polish and some of the puzzles were hard to figure out but it was overall enjoyable.

HOW?. This game is nice. I like the graphics. The puzzles can be mechanically difficult at times because there are no instructions as to how to manipulate some of the objects. Otherwise, the game could be longer time-wise ($$) but is definitely challenging and enjoyable.

Glitch?. Unless I can't see the blindingly obvious, there appears to be a glitch in this game, where I can't return to the original room to replace the candle stick. A bit of a pity because it was a fun game until that point.

The Game Is Completed. I finished the game and it was actually easy. For people who can't open the door, you have to remember that it's the LITE version and that things wrap up fast. To open the first door, there's more symbols to look for when the light flashes. Not a scary game but I like when the puzzles come up. Worth the dollar.

Awesome family game. My kids and I played it together around Halloween and it was a perfect blend of mystery solving and creepy effects. Please keep making them. We really love these series of games.
