The high price add-on DOESN'T WORK. When trying to get a refund from BUDGE the app creators, I was denied and told that I should ask PayPal for a refund instead. Don't buy this app. I won't be purchasing anything from BUDGE, and will continue to write them bad reviews for their faulty expensive add-ons and their bad customer service. Thanks for nothing BUDGE.

Great BUUUUT,. Let’s just start with that I have no in-app purchases on, as a lot of people do. So, like literally everything I press, it says, ‘In-app purchases currently disabled on this device.’ But to make it WORSE, it flashes on and off every quarter of a second- and that’s no exaggeration! Also, when you haven’t purchased anything, you get like, NOTHING. I think 10 dollars just for 1 pack is WAY too much. Actually, a lot of Budge games I get, the things inside them are also overpriced. I maybe you should put mini games in them, that are hard. Until then, you get this many stars...

Used to love this game, still do for different reasons.. Played it when I was 3, loved it. I still sort of do, because I can snap pics of my family like the freakin paparazzi and put all sorts of weird items on them. The text boxes are hilarious, as you can type whatever the heck you want, and make hilarious, crazy messages. Good to mess with your friends.

Still works!. So I have an iPad Pro third generation and yeah I get all the perks Face ID, no home button, and even no bezels. By the way I saved up money for it. So I got the app I have enough money on my account to by all the packs so I do. And all you people complaining that it does not work, well your wrong it works perfectly fine on my iPad. Also my mom has an iPhone 10 and she got the exact same thing and it worked. Me and my mom are both Strawberry Shortcake lovers. In the end I rate this a 5 out of 5. It’s a good game in app purchases work for me and hopefully you guys (BUDGE) will try to help other people who are having problems.

Not worth downloading unless welling to pay $10. I have had this game for two years now and it is absolutely horrible. You get one character and you have limited options for clothes. It is really boring. If you have kids under 5 they will not like this game if they don’t have many things to do in the game. That’s all I have for now

Fun game. My 3 year old likes this game but too much of it is locked up and the game tries to trick you into paying extra for clothes and other accessories.

too expensive. I would happily pay a few dollars to load an app but $14 to buy the packs is ridiculous and the "game" is pretty useless without them. Not impressed at all

I haven’t played strawberry shortcake’s dress up game in three years and I just wanted to hop on the app because I had a memory of it. but I have learnt that now all the accessories and clothes and different characters are now unavailable they need to be purchased I was looking forward to playing it again but three years ago everything was for free and it was such an enjoyable game but now it’s just a money trap and I’m very disappointed because I miss that game it was one of my favourites

Rip off. I got this game for my 3 yr old, and it's very disappointing! Everything she wants to dress the character in is locked out, and is asking you to pay! It's very frustrating for her and disappointing when I have to tell her she can't use that one. She doesn't understand why. And asking for $11.99 to buy all the packs!! That's outrageous!! Why not just make the app a paid one for 1.99 and make all the packs available. Asking parents to pay $11.99 for a simple app like this is robbery!!

Customer service is awful. My daughter loves this game and so I bought the whole pack of add ons for her for 11.99 which is pricey, but with the amount she plays with it is worth it. I updated the app a week ago and when it was done upgrading all the add on packs were gone. I followed the instructions to restore the packs with no luck. I emailed the address that is within the app and I have still not received an answer. Now somehow my credit card has been charged another 13.99 and all the packs are still locked and my second email has gone unanswered. The app is great if it works- however if it doesn't forget about getting any help. Now my little girl is disappointed and I am out $25 for nothing:(

What a fantastic app!. My family loves the current Strawberry Shortcake series, art, books, etc. Colorful, excellent messages, modest dress for all the characters. And now a beautiful app for Little Ones, and Big Older Ones like myself. Same delightful quality artwork, sweet little fashions, bright colors, great graphics, endless combinations to play with! And, the ability to send your finished works in an email to friends and family. What a treat! I splurged and bought the package of complete sets of various themes. All are charming, a huge hit at my house, worth every penny. Highly recommend, not just for ages 6-8, even us over 50's grannies can appreciate how much time and effort went into this. I hope my granddaughters will let me play, too!!!

Expensive and a rip off!!. Wish I could get money back after I purchased this app. I bought it for my daughter because she likes it, that's why I decided to buy the bundle package even though it was way too expensive! But little did I know that their "all bundle package" doesn't even include all of the characters and they want you to pay more money to get all of characters after you already paid a lot of money to get the app. My daughter asked for the other two characters that are missing, it was heartbreaking that she can't even get all the characters! It's sad that the creator of this app doesn't care about breaking a little girl's heart and just want to make more money!!!

Very cute. My kindergartener loves this app to make cards for her teachers. Would like it more if in-app purchases weren't so expensive, and if e-mail weren't the default for saving. Otherwise, there are cute accessories and she can write her own speech-bubble messages, so we're happy enough to keep this app. Maybe she'll get an iTunes card for Christmas from Grandma & be able to get another character to use. ;-)

Great app. 1. Fantastic app, but if you want all features, be prepared to pay up to $20+. My daughter gets hours upon hours of enjoyment from this, so for us, it was worth it. 2. Issues with updates were fixed, but it didn't fix with simply updating. You MUST delete app, reinstall, and then restore purchases. Simply updating and restoring doesn't fix it. 3. Customer service always answers emails which is much appreciated. Thank you for the wonderful app.

Fun but be careful. It's funny that you are asked for a password to write a review but not to make a purchase. My 3 year old really loves this app and finds it easy to use, but be careful. I was disappointed to see that there is no password protection to make purchases on this app and only realized it when I started receiving purchase confirmations from iTunes. I wish I would have read the reviews/warnings before installing the app because I wouldn't have installed it. I will not let her play with this app anymore which is too bad because she really did like it.

Cute but very little us actually free!!. If this was a couple dollars, I would pay for it if it included most if the dress up items. As it is, there's just a few free things and LOADS of little kits to buy or pay TEN DOLLARS for all the kits. Honestly, it's a pain to deal with an unhappy four year old who wants more than a couple outfits in a dress up game. I will end up deleting the whole thing to avoid the disappointment.

It's cute but unfair for poor people!. It's a cute game, but for people who get the free version for their kids cause they can't afford to spend a bunch of money it kinda makes me mad how little they give you to use. To me it feels like a lie cause it's not really free if you have to buy about 3 thirds of the items on her. If you don't have the money then you just get screwed even in so called free apps. It does make me mad cause little kids don't understand why they can't use the other really pretty stuff on here. I had down loaded 3 of the short cake games, but I think I'm going to delete them cause I can't stand seeing my kids upset cause I can't buy the pretty items you have locked on here.

Almost perfect!. Ditto to the other reviewers... We had just purchased the "full meal deal" and an update came. I think (?) we were able to restore but now there are more "locked" items which my girlies do not love. We should at least have the option to update for a smaller fee. Just sayin. Other than that, an absolute favorite!!

Good game. I like this game but it is too much money it should be free

Keeps my kids happy. My twins like this game enough to fight over it every day and give me a hard time when they are frustrated that they can't use all the characters and outfits that are presented to them. If you think your kids might enjoy this game, they will! However you should be prepared to shell out the money to buy the expansions because they will get bored with the free options very quickly.

Not Happy with update!. I responded with the new update message and was told to uninstall the current version and up date for the new version. Did that! Now after I paid for the old version, they are telling me I have to pay for the new version. This is not good when you're on a fixed income and want nothing but for your granddaughter to be happy. She was happy with the old version. Do we get some kind of a refund???? If not....this is not a good company to deal with! Also they want me to rate the game! Two days ago I would have given it a 5 star but today I'm ready to give it a -1 star! Now it will not let me write a review unless I rate it....so it gets a 1 star. I'll rate it a 5 star after I receive a refund for all the other money I spent on the first app I installed

Awesome Customer Service!!!. My budding fashionista Loves this app, and it continues to get lots of play time as she mixes and matches, and plays with family pictures! I was frustrated at first when we upgraded and it seemed we had lost all our add-ons, but after leaving a brief message at the number found in contact info, I was called back almost immediately and was able to fix the problem!!! I am very impressed with their customer service, and will be purchasing additional apps from them!!!

Glitchy at first but love it now!!. I bought all the fun outfits for my 2.5 for her to grow into. Don't judge my choice! But it kept crashing. I was annoyed. And thought. I lost some major money but was going to email the programmers! However, the fix was sent out and it looks like the glitches are all fixed!! Yeah, not sure what everyone is complaining about. I paid the 20 bucks. Honest from mn.

This game is a rip off!. I downloaded this game for my kids and purchased all of the packs (for an extreme amount of money). Now just two months after spending almost $15 for the packs we cannot access some of the packs we already purchased (I complained almost a month ago and they have yet to fix the problem) and they have released new packs which are not included in the price I paid for the "all pack" option (which there is no fine print when you purchase this pack that you will have to buy any new packs that come along) but there is also not an option to buy just the new packs (hopefully at a greatly reduced cost). Don't waste your money look of a different "paper doll" type game, I wish I had.

Avoid Budge Apps - complete ripoff and way too expensive. My advice is to avoid downloading anything by budge studios unless you're ready to spend close to $8 to $20 per app to unlock all the features. Budge studios uses guilt to pressure children to pressure their parents to unlock all the features. For example, There will be a puppy in the game that's whining and sad, and the game will tell you that he wants your care, but then you can't actually do it unless you pay to unlock that puppy. It's very manipulative. Most children's apps are just a couple dollars to unlock, but these games are ridiculously overpriced.

Bought full version now have to pay more!. I have to start by saying my 4 year old daughter does like this app. I am however frustrated. I decided to make the plunge and pay the big fee to unlock everything. The problem is every update they just add more outfits so you have to pay more money. They also order these new items toward the front so your daughter will click on them and want you to buy them. For that shady business model, I do NOT recommend. I now have my daughter play more honest apps that don't rip you off.

Berry Best Dress-Up App. My daughter (5yo) says "I love it. I really like making all the girls new outfits & everything" I'm a little hurt by the price to buy all the packs ($20) is a bit steep but i'v got 3 devices & 2 girls playing it so I know it'll get its use. We also have the pet care one which the love & consistently play even 8 months later.

My daughter loves it!. This is a great app for any Strawberry shortcake fan. My daughter has the dolls, so this app was just the icing on the top of the "shortcake". She enjoys decorating her own photos and sending those to her grandma. We've also got a few packs which are great value for money and well designed. One can easily see the care and attention to detail that went into the development of this product. Great job!

Fun for Kids. Daughter loves to dress up the different characters! However there are only a handful of outfits and not all the characters are available from the beginning. A lot micro transactions to get the full set of characters and multiple outfits. Sending homemade cards to friends and family is a neat past time for kids as well.

It's kind of scary at first. Well since I was waiting for the game to pop up this very scary introduction of the green budge monster appeared and I was like No not today 😱😰

I paid to unlock everything and now there are more locked items!!!. My daughter hates to play games with locked items. She begs for me to unlock them. I gave in on this app against my better judgement since this was the most I have ever paid for a children's app. I paid to unlock "all" of the content. With the new update, now there are new locked items. I restored my purchase, but there are new ones I didn't get, plus some parts of the old packs. It is so frustrating to feel like they are trying to get more money when I was originally told I was getting it all. I am glad they are making it better, but other apps just update with the new features included. They honor the fact that you have already paid.

Latest update deletes previously purchased add on packages. Daughter loves this game but latest update deleted the additional packages we previously purchased. Daughter is upset, I'm upset, but not purchasing again. This is a rip off! Update: Got a quick response from the developer to fix the problem. Excellent customer service.
