This is great. I have bought and paid for other calculators to use in my business. They say they removed the ads. Well they did remove the ads for just a short time. Then the ads came back. I emailed the makers of this calculator and ask them how long will the ads no longer appear. They said indefinitely. I am absolutely sold on this calculator. It is easy to useAnd easy on the eyes. If you’re looking for a good calculator that does everything you need this is the one. $10 is a small price to pay for a good product.

Excellent calculator.. Totally happy. Has everything I could want, including enough customizations to match my physical calculator. Only drawback is the overly annoying request to provide a review. Give everyone more time to learn the config options before the constant requests. It would be nice to have a Control Center option. Lastly, I do not have an Apple Watch, but I would think it would be excellent to have this same calculator available on all platforms. Job well done.

Why do the ads still up here after I have purchased the full version?. Unless I’m doing something wrong?????? I purchased the full version of the calculator pro and when I open the application on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the ads still appear. The only way the ads disappear, is if I go back to the App Store and open it from there then the ads disappear. What is the fix for this? I tried downloading again and still the same thing. It’s like I get the ads even though I paid for the full version and I get the full version without the ads, only if I open it through the Apple App Store. This is not good. However, I really do like this calculator pro app. I just can’t stand the advertisements especially since I’ve paid for the full version........ Developer, please provide a quick fix for this, as I really like this Calculator Pro app. But I need to get explanation for this and a quick solution please.

Superb Calculator. Exactly what I needed. Easy to read - easy to use. Nicely detailed buttons, with everything where it's supposed to be. I love the ability to read back through the numbers when doing a long calculation. Highly recommended.

Simple and Sweet!!. This is just what I was looking for... 👍 It has percentage % which comes in handy with sales tax! It even has both Basic and a Scientific calculators, and it is Beautiful too! The $ cost is worth having no commercials! And it has the option to have a paper trail. Gives you each item and the total that you can print out! And a correction key to go back and make corrections without starting over! Truly wonderful! Thank you! PS. Personally, it would be better to have the "Plus/+" sign be the BIGGEST BUTTON instead of the = button that I use much much less! Just a thought...

Great customer support. All it took was an email to the developer. I explain to him what i wanted and thought it was need in the app, he reply and said that he will work on it. After 2 weeks, he shot me an email and said to update the app. What i request him with my first email it’s available to everyone. Great app and hopefully you can continue updating the app for many years to come. Best calculator app and i had tried a dozen of calculators apps. I work as a secretary treasurer. It is very helpful thank you!!!

Great calculator. I was so happy when I found this calculator app after my old one was left behind in the iOS 11 upgrade. Simple, easy to use, great interface and has more features than I’ll ever know how to use. The only thing I don’t like is that it resumes your last session every time you open it instead of starting a new session; this wastes my time each time that I use it; an option to disable this would be great.

YOU Got My Number. Great overall calculator. Got a new phone and was looking for this same app I had on my previous one. This is the ONLY app I paid for no ads. It is totally worth it. I am so pleased they still have it available. Thank you.

Almost as good as my Radio Shack calculator. Actually better in some ways but I really wish the basic keypad had a square root function. That’s one thing I always use building things. It does exist on the other keyboard choices though

Truth in Marketing.. This app lives up to the developer’s claim of “The Best Calculator for iPhone”. As with other reviewers, I tried many other calculator apps, and they all fell short of being a full-featured calculator. This app combines outstanding functionality with an impressive interface. I don’t know what else to say, except that they replied quickly to a question I sent them at 2am in the morning!!

My Everyday Calculator. After trying many calculators in the App Store, this is my favorite for simple, everyday use. It has all the right functions, a history tape, and excellent design. Unless I need multiple memories or specialized functions, this is the calculator I use.

Awesome. My best calculator. Now better than ever. I'd wish a tax calculator included. Then I will not need any other one. I’m glad you’re updating it regularly, it tells about your concern to provide an excellent app. I keep missing the tax button, which is something I use every day.

BEST CALCULATOR for ELDERS!. I can’t do without it, have it on both iPads & iPhone. The reason I love it is that it is so easy to use. I’m not great with arithmetic so I need to use a calculator for all adding etc. And since most of the buttons on any calculator no sense at all to me, I love that this one has 3 layouts to choose from, including the simple one with big buttons that are easy to see. It does offer a sophisticated sciencey layout for those who want it. I can keep the “adding tape” in a list for later reference. This is truly a must have calculator for other elders who have vision troubles and/or lack mathematical sophistication as I do, yet an accountant or scientific sort would have their needs met too.

Bait and switch. They make you believe you are purchasing the tape but you are not getting it immediately with your $9.99 “one time purchase”. Could be to many games to get more money. I’m probably going to unsubscribe. Not happy with these tricks.

Great Calculator. This colorful calculator is awesome! I’m an accountant and love the fact that I can choose the basic format or the scientific display with the touch of a button. The running display of my current calculation is invaluable. It’s like running a tape on a conventional ten key. I actually use this app as often as I use my ten key now! That’s saying a lot for a accounting professional. This app is definite keeper. Can’t recommend it enough.

Best Calculator EVER!. I love this calculator! Love the tape and ability to save prior numbers calculated. Mostly I use it to balance my bank account. Also love the capability to delete the last number! Also, it is customizable, color, scientific, etc. I wish I could buy a handheld calculator for work that did all this... it feels awkward pulling my phone out at work!

Brilliant vs. the mediocre. This is the fourth calculator I've tried on iPad Pro 9.7". This is the only one with an option for a simple display that still has memory...but ALSO with a single swipe invokes a scientific calculator (so that screen real estate is not gobbled if only needed occasionally. The design options look nice, but the default seems best for ergonomics. This is THE ONE!

This is a truly excellent product!. I have low vision, in the ability to customize this calculator makes it really wonderful. I have been using it now for several years, and occasionally try newer Calculator apps, but keep coming back to this one as the best. Very highly recommended!

Apple indicating app is outdated. I absolutely love this calculator! It has been my go to for years. Over the past month an Apple pop-up warning appears every morning indicating that the app needs to be updated and asks if I want to keep the app or delete. Is a fix coming soon?

Why is it so hard?. Why was it so difficult to find a good calculator? I went through about 10 of them. It seems inconceivable that Apple didn’t have a calculator app for the iPad. Doesn’t it make sense that you would use split screen in order to load up financial apps and then want a calculator? And not a flashy thing, but a workhorse that can be used without distraction? This is perfect. No ads, no recurring subscription, no distractions, but a tape function, a usable layout, and the ability to use with other apps. Nice job dev. I wasn’t looking for my phone, but I gave it an honored spot on my phone home screen as well.

Calculator APP. I have used this app now for over a year now. I have two other apps like this one , but this is the one I always use and is more useful and easier to use. (So I just deleted the others today). Highly recommend this one over others.

Do not purchase they take what you paid for and make it worse to get you to pay more money. I originally bought this as a paid app! This developer has turned into a predatory money robbing group that takes away your ability to clear history and now locks you out of the history section unless you pay them more money for a ability to have multiple history pages which I don’t need! Once you buy something from someone the developer should not have the ability to make it worse just to go to you for more money! Now instead of clearing history I’ll line items at one time I am locked out of the ability to do that and have to manually clear each line item one at a time making it worse for the customer! so this developer is trying to go just for more money by making something worse than taking away what we paid for and then expected us to be happy and give her more money! this used to be one of the better calculator apps! but now they’re choosing to just screw their customers over to make more money by taking away what they paid for to make them pay to have a user-friendly app!

This calculator rocks. I do property management and this Calculator App does it all its so awesome that you see your work then it has a delete back button what??? That's awesome I can do my work and not worrying about being able to delete my whole calculation only delete the exact mistake not like other Calculators!!! This app is awesome

Best Calculator on the Market. This calculate is well designed. It makes doing everything for the simplest to the most complex calculations clear and effective. The running total and list of items in addition and subtraction alone make it worthwhile. I can check for typos during a calculation and easily revise for correct results. I use this instead of any other calculator apps out there. I replaced my Apple calculator on my main page. Get this one!

No Better Calculator. The two things I love most about this calculator are that it shows every number you punch in so you can backtrack a long list of numbers and that if you accidentally punch in, say, a plus when you meant minus you can just back up and change it without losing anything. It’s fabulous and I tell everyone about it.

Has Everything You Need. I had the free app for a long while, and recently paid the few bucks for the ad-free version. Well-worth it. Calculator screen easy to read and easy to use, and the various layouts have every function you could possibly need. I esp. like the memory functions and the layout that saves all your calculations. Tried other Calc apps and always came back to this one!

My GoTo calculator. It has an easy to use memory feature followed by an easy to use backspace when you’ve made a fat finger error. Also with parens you can string along a simple equation. In the horizontal position you scientists and mathematicians can have a blast. These features without ads were worth the one-time fee.

Theme problem. I have paid for an application that is hard to read. The design of the layout is very good, but the design of themes are done by amateurs. The contrast should be higher. Fonts are bold. No option for regular font. It could be a perfect app with paying attention to themes and font options. On iPad bold font is of less problem.

Calculator. I love this calculator. I love that if you put a wrong # u can back up and fix it without starting over. I gave it 4 stars because the only way to get rid of the adds is to go through a procedure. I paid the money so why do I have to do that every time I open the app?

Nearly Perfect!. Tried many calculators (free & paid). HD Pro surpasses the others by far! The most important thing is, it's incredibly User-friendly. My list of Likes keeps growing yet, my Wish list only has tweaks to 'customize' the Tape. Likes: 1. Ergonomic - Easy to access & read. The keys are large enough for clumsy fingers. The screen displays numbers clearly. 2. Can use in Portrait or Landscape modes. 3. History: Retains Tape w/ALL previous calculations. Typically, apps limit history to a certain size. 4. Can use data from tape (the result or as actual input) in current calculations . Wish List/Customize Tape: 1. Add 'Label/Notation' for each item. This would help user ID calculations among many similar ones or highlight important ones. 2. Editing: Let user Add/Change labels on historical calculations. 3. Deleting: Allow selection of individual Tape items for Deletion (as alternative to 'deleting all'). Currently, one must retain the entire tape if historical results are valuable enough to hang on to. Without the relevant historical data, I'd be recalculating same data a lot & wasting time!

The Calc I'm looking for. I'll be using this for a while and it helps save my calorie count. I can't believe Microsoft and apple don't save the history of your calculations anymore? Update* I forgot that I love how you can customize it.

Great. I bought it because I love it and got tired of Google asking me to sign up when I already am! I like how it keeps a running tally and let's you know your total as you go; as well as running a "tape" to check the numbers I put in and make sure I got the right ones. It's very helpful in having a back button and a clear button. I really like it.

Love This Calculator. I only do simple math but having a history tape assures you all entries are included. It allows you to double check what you have entered to arrive at the answer. Well worth the money. I mostly use it on my iPad. High recommended!

After about 3 years, it's still my go to calculator. Calc HD Pro is super easy and intuitive to use. I never realized how useful having a history of my calculations readily available would be. Now I don't want to be without it. Thx and keep up the good work!

Great app with full VoiceOver accessibility. The developer of this app is one of the most responsive developers ever! He released an update yesterday. For VoiceOver users, it had a big problem in that the numbers would not speak when you touched them, making it useless. 24 hours later, he released this update which fixed the issue so it is back to being the very best calculator with full accessibility. Great job!

My favorite for synchronization +. I'm so grateful for the multiple features with this app. A huge highlight, that's super meaningful to me, is to easily track my calculations along the way, and having a back space feature. I love being able to process and think through intentions with the help of this app, that saves me lots of time, in harmony with my unique learning style. Thank you!

Top notch calculator. This App works great. It is easy to use and the history tape is why I like this App over others. One caution, however. If you buy the ad free version, you need to delete the “lite” version from your device. Otherwise you may inadvertently load the wrong version and still be bombarded with ads.

Very useful. I use the calculator app three or four times a week. What’s the percentage of rainfall today compared with normal to date? How much are we spending on groceries compared to the national average reported in a news story? If your mind thinks mathematically, this is a very useful to.

Good but... Finally upgraded to get rid of annoying ads. Then they hit you with a “rate me “ type annoyance pop up which occurs more frequently than the original ads that are annoying. Good app, I’d give it 5 stars if they only asked you once when you open up the app to give it a rating. Every other button I pushed it would pop up. Hopefully me giving them this review will finally shut them up.....

Simple Appearance but Lots of Depth. I have used this calculator for years, including when I ran a Multimillion Dollar company. All the calculator functions I needed were right on my phone when I had to make decisions on the fly. Especially with the new software upgrades, the Pro version is more than worth the price, with functionality a close by at all times.

The Best. I’m picky about everything I use. This app has everything I need and it’s very easy to use. The ads I can tolerate but I paid for the ad free because I believe they earned the right for me to pay it to help them out and to show them I support them. I’ve never felt that way about any app I used except this one. They earned it.

Best calculator. Looked for a calculator app and tried several......this is the best calculator I’ve found........period!!!!!! The best element is the tape, how many times have you accidentally hit the RONG button and lost everything? This app will bring you back to where you were before you lost the info.....you will not be disappointed with this calculator!!!!!!

Versitle calculator that performs exactly as advertised.. I’ve used it for months. It’s always performed exactly as it should. It’s never crashed. I bought the widget and use it frequently too. I consider the price reasonable. Transitioning from the widget to the full app is easy, just one tap. I also bought the multiple history tapes add-on. It’s price too is reasonable for what it provides. I’ve tried many other calculator apps. I even maintain a couple of them on my iPad Pro, but seldom use any of them. I give this one 5 stars because of its versatility (three apps in one), utility, and reliability.

Good but. Good calculator app overall. Easy to change to simple layout or more detailed layout. Looks good. Run smooth.. Really the only thing I dont like is the in-app purchase. I do not like in-app purchases and try to avoid them...I would rather pay for it up front, for one thing that makes it easier to re-install later if needed. I would like to unlock the widget but it is an in-app purchase so I am looking for a different paid calculator app that does not include in-app purchases.

FULL Screen Landscape View LARGE. I needed to replace my iOS Calculator app as it isn't supported on iOS 11... I've been searching for months... Search is a now a success!!! By far THE best for basic calculator with memory buttons that utilizes the FULL Screen of the iPad in Landscape mode...The largest & widest basic calculator with memory...Precisely what I was looking for...It also works gr8 on my iPhone too.

Favorite calculator. It is easy to use, big - clear number pad, you can see and correct what you typed in, keeps track of entry history or you can choose to clear it. Please don’t change it.

Best Calc App. I am a bartender, I have been using this app for like 5 years. The function to be able to view past entries that are time stamped & dated, and also delete entries if needed is vital to my job at the end of the night. I originally downloaded this app bc on the original iPhone Calc app it doesn’t list off each number as you enter it meaning if I was entering in tips and got interrupted by a customer I would have no way to be sure what the last tip I entered was & risk entering it in twice causing the drawer to be short or not entering it in at all and losing money. This one lists every number you enter at the top & has saved me so many headaches & a lot of time over the years. This app is great :)

OUTSTANDING!. Don’t trust the one -star reviews! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the app! My fully “tricked out” version, with the extra tapes and the widget hasn’t failed a single time! Ever! And , I haven’t been asked for a review a single time! The interface is so polished- you will need the sunglasses to navigate! To the developers: Remarkably well done! Bravo!!

Perfect for every day math. This is my go-to app for every day math. I’m a detail oriented person and, although retired, keep careful daily logs, many of which require the basic functions of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing plus percentages. I love the layout and seeing a log of all my entries allows me to check quickly for data entry errors. I bought the ad-free version because I hate ads, love the app, and want to support the developers.

Better than the one already on your phone. I really like that it shows a "tape" so I can check my calculations....either during or after. I much prefer it over the one that comes on the iphone. Definitely worth a few dollars to be able to check your numbers.

Calculator HD Pro. With a visually appealing user interface, easy, customary operation this app offers all the features the everyday user would require. I very much like using it and happy to recommend it to everybody. With the $2.99 price tag it is money well spent! Would like to see the addition of Print function for the calculation tape. Yes, it can be printed via other apps by using the data from the clipboard, but printing should be offered, as a matter of course.

A good little calculator. I find this app extremely useful. The direct algebraic logic is stellar. The only problem is the conversion to exponential mode is not obvious and I have not figured out how to enter exponential mode easily. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

Calculator HD Pro. The best do all calculator that I've come across, and I've searched a lot. With the added bonus of a back space button for single digit input correction of long number entries, something not found on any other digital calculator app! Dated history of all previous calculations with the ability to email, clear previous entries and other useful functions. Easily replaces the functionality of the native calculator. Highly recommended. Update May 3, 2016 Latest update improves on already great calculator functions. Nothing is lost and added customization is a plus. However, a couple recommendations. The arithmetic function button symbols (+,-,=,etc.) could be a little larger and less "blocky" looking. Symbols are kinda small for the generous size button they are on. And differentiate the arithmetic buttons in a different colour as opposed to just a darker shade of blue (amber, purple, etc...). Same for the "equal" button. Small symbol on a generously large and well-placed button. And again, a strikingly different colour (purple, amber, etc...) for that button would set this calculator apart from the rest in greater fashion. Just my two cents. But still love this app over my native app. Update October 2023: Still my go to Calculator for everything, especially budgeting. And still highly recommended!

The best calculator app. I have been using this app for a couple of years now. Having tried their competitor's apps, I have to say this is the best calculator app out there. As one of the other reviews said this one should be included on Apple devices as a standard calculator app instead of the existing one.

Works very well!. I have the purchased product which gets rid of the advertisements. When I initially got the App, I was having a lot of trouble with numbers not registering when pressed. This made it a very frustrating experience. However, that problem has since been rectified and now I love this App! I like the fact that you can see all the entries made when for instance adding multiple numbers at once. It is also very easy to erase a single digit made in error without it affecting anything else. I also like the history page made of all your entries on the left side of the page which makes it very easy to cross examine all the entries you made. You can also print this page out of you like. I use this App on my iPad Air2 for all my banking. I can't think of any other feature that I would want that it already doesn't have.

The One I Needed. I was looking for a calculator that kept a history of my calculations. Not only does it do that, but I can also label the calculations to refer back to them more easily! I love that. It was worth it purchasing the pro edition.

Versatile. I love you are in complete control of the operations, and the hystory of what you have done before. Also, if you type something wrong, app has a back key and you can fix quick the mistake.

Handy Utility. Why isn't every calculator this handy? Has a history which you can track. Can do multi step equations and let's you see the answer as you type (like 5x6-3+32=__).

There's nothing better. Attractive interface. Tape is an ingenious and well designed feature. It would be nice to have a conversion function, e.g., mm to inch, but it is still the best I have found.

% feature for PRICING!!!. I work with percentages daily- to be able to subtract %’s so easily is key. Texas Instruments 30xii takes more steps with all its bells and whistles. Sometimes, less is more. This is exactly what I need.

Excellent calculator. I really like this calculator because it shows my work. If I think I might have mistyped a number I can easily check that. Ditto for mistyping an operation sign.

Silence Please. No way to turn off key sounds clicking sound is annoying . This option should be added in future updates.

Very Useful. Really like the App. The 3 screen options are valuable in my business, especially the "tape" presentation showing the individual numbers used in the calculation and it also holds history.

Great Calculator. This is a great calculator. It is much better than the Apple-supplied one, which is actually error prone. The colors are ergonomically pleasing, and the action sound affirms you that you've pressed the key. The computation record is exceptionality useful when doing long computations to make sure you did what you intended. The scientific calculator is as good as any dedicated basic calculator for math and science. Definitely buy the pro version to suppress the ads. It's well worth it!

Calc HD Pro Lte. When I purchased this version, I thought it was “add free”. It is not. Very annoying. The same two, by the way, keep popping up when I am doing a calculation. There are offers to purchase games. I am very disappointed with this app.

Excellent app.. My iPad Mini did not ship with a calculator app(also no weather app). This calculator fixed the deficiency so well, I now use it on my iPhone as well as my tablet.
