This game is awesome. This game is a great game, I recommend it to fighter jet enthusiasts everywhere! The level making is great. My only complaint is the slightly off carrier landing meatball system.

Love this game!!!!!. I love this sim. I do wish it had enemy fighters and bombs. With continued updates I bet this app will only get better. Keep up the good work.

More things please. It would be nice if there was an update like for the carrier landing game. I just want a more planes and more missions.

Good app, but…. This was once a great flight sim app. It's been a long time since it was last updated and it appears there are no plans to update it; but updates are necessary to make this app enjoyable again.

More Objects Please !!!. The only reason I'm bot giving it 5 stars is only because as a paid customer I would lime to see further updates adding more objects... such as tanks, soldiers, buildings, another enemy aircraft like a mig, and ability to makes certain objects friendly. Great game none the less !

Update makes me pay more. I bought the paid app and had three planes. Now the update only has one and I have to buy the planes I had before. Not good.

Multiplayer. Would like to see multiplayer to play with friends :)

Great Game. This is a fantastic FS game. Would like to see A6 added as well as the Harrier since there already in the landing version. Maybe even add the A10 for ground attack missions. Awesome job so far! Keep the improvements coming! It just keeps getting better!!

Good but Needs Update!. The game is really cool and entertaining. I think it is one of the best games I've ever had. The only problem for me is that the other games Rortos has are updated and have better graphics and more realism. I purchased the game quite a while ago and no updates have come out. I have the f18 carrier landing lite version and it is way better than this game and I paid for this one. Please update this game and make it equal to the f18 carrier landing!

Needs update. It's a good game but when I shoot a missle at a CHP target it always dosen't hit it even though the target is locked.

Great game although.... Everytime I fly the plane up, I have to tilt my upas like at a 90 degree angle andbthen I can't see the screen. Fix that please!!!!!!

Fun game with major flaws. Two major flaws: (1) Sometimes after completing a difficult mission the plane explodes - for no apparent reason when coming to a stop landing on the carrier. (2) Can’t read the green gauge in the lower left when flying in the clouds. Give it a permanent black background. Also, one little thing that bugs me. The color of the lights on the tail. Left (port) should be red and right (starboard) should be green. The white light on the left and red on the right is just laziness of the designers. Update your game or take it off the App Store. I’ll change my rating to 2 if you fix the display color, 3 if you fix the crash problem, 4 if you fix both. Maybe 5 if you actually refresh the game by adding things like more planes and new ideas. Other suggestions: *Add a compass - just N/E/S/W would be good, but degrees would be better. *target lock - when headed towards a SAM, I don’t want my targeting system to switch to a platform. This is actually something I might categorize as a major flaw. *Map needs the ability to swipe and look around, plus a zoom function.

All it lacks is dogfights. I got the original game and it wasn't all that great. All you did was take off and land. This is a HUGE upgrade!! Being able to create and share scenarios makes this game endless! Plus air to A-A & A-G combat to boot!!?? My hat is off to you. This is surely my favorite game now! Just add a dogfight and it will be all inclusive!

Good but Needs Fixing. I’ve been playing this game for years and I’ve really enjoyed my experience. I have run into a significant issue, though. When the plane captures the wires of the aircraft carrier, the plane repeatedly clips into the ship and destroys itself. This bug seems to happen way too often, but I hope this bug can be fixed soon. Air Naval Foghters. This is a fabulous flight simulator. Wonderful sounds and graphics. The more you fly, the better you get, and the more fun you will have. Get this simulator!

The best. Perfect controls love how you swipe the screen to go to weapons please make more missions like the solder rescue keep it tough ,this is the hight of a flying sim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!one more wish you would go to black turning at high speeds

Extremely fun game. Pros: Continually fun, exciting and addicting. Custom maps add continual gameplay. Great graphics and beautiful, smooth controls. Cons: need more weapon variety, refillable ammunition to create longer, more advance maps, and allow for multiplying

Very good. This game is very realistic and the jets have good detail. My personal favorite is the F14 Tomcat, but the F/A 18 Hornet is not bad ether and there is the Greyhound which moves more slowly just like it really would for rescue missions. However I think if there were more jets to choose from the game would be better and deserve five stars instead of four. Also the warship version is not bad.

Non-transferable. When I switched to a new iPad all of the upgrades I had purchased disappeared. The only way to get them back was to purchase them for a second time. Not buying it again.

The most realistic jet fighter game. Great jet fighter simulator! Altough computer graphic of this game is not high level (there's also some bug in graphic) and engine sound sample would be stopped for 0.1 second and repeated again, it's very realistic, intuitive, simple and fun. I think this game is much better than other jet fighter app like Strike Fighters which has high definition graphic, but more for short time killing after all. This game is designed more for complition of each mission within minimum time(You can also desgin & share your own missions too) You can pause this game for a while, but can't save during mission if you're failed at some point: You should repeat whole mission from the begining again. I hope Mac version with iphone remote control function(iphone as substitue for wirless joy pad & small dash board) shoulbe be released as soon as possible. F/A18 carrier landing with RC was just fantastic. Thanks for this great app for jet fighter lovers!! :)

Very buggy. I don't know if its my iPhone or what, but the graphics are horrible, the ocean barely loads, and almost always when I start a mission the game gets stuck on this one screen which I need to shut down the iPhone to get rid of. I've re-downloaded this a few times, and it still won't work right. Please fix this, the F-18 landing game was amazing, I had high expectations for this game...

Good over all. This is a good app as a flight sim. Needs graphics, reload weapons, fuel, and when in the tomcat it has no control for the angle of the wings. Fix that and it's the best sim ever.

Lot of fun. At first I was getting shot down every mission. I have gradually figured out strategies based on approach and speed to complete the missions. Evade some targets that are not included in the mission. It is great to be able to download new missions. This has entertained me and allowed me to fill in "down" times.

By far my favorite game for my iPhone 6. My favorite game for my iPhone 6 it does great, and if you're looking for a greater challenge just make a map yourself.

Great Sim. If you want a realistic sim and no mandatory IAP's then this one is for you. Good controls,graphics and sound. You can also create your own scenarios,complete with weather. Also download scenarios from online. 3 great planes F-18,F-14 and C-2A. Enjoy the game its worth every penny.

What happened?!. Here are ten ways to improve the game: 1. Get better graphics (The plane looks fake) 2. Make it so that you can look around again (I feel like I have tunnel vision when I play this) 3. Give the player full controls of the plane (including rotary wing control for the F-14 Tomcat) to give more of a challenge 4. make controls smaller (they take up like half the screen) 5. More planes please! (i.e. F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-22 Raptor, F-35B Lightning II, F-15 Strike Eagle, V-22 Osprey, P-52 Mustang, F-4U Corsair, Mig44 Fulcrum, F-4E Phantom II, F-6 Hellcat) 6. Include some helicopters (such as the AH-64 Apache Longbow, CH-53 Sea Stallion, UH-60 Black Hawk) 7. Create some dog fight missions (Jet v.s. Jet) 8. Make enemy Tank targets 9. Give more diversity in the Ballistics and machine gun needs to fire faster(Tomahawk, AMRAM, Rotary cannon, bombs, etc.) 10. Give limit to fuel and ammunition (including machine gun) As I was typing this I thought of another so here it is. 11. Make an eject button.

Mission 3. OMG Mission 3 is so hard! Why the sudden change in difficulty? The chopper is always killing me. It needs to be made easier, such as: Mission 3 plane has rockets or choppers have less hp. Please make it easier

Need an update. I got this game around Christmas of 2012, but deleted it because i put it on my NEXUS 7 tablet. That broke and i am just downloading it again. The game hasnt had anything new since then. This needs more planes and just needs something new

Airplanes. Add older airplanes like WWII planes and also add where you can fight other planes and add where you have bombs and where there are aircraft carriers you can fight otherwise a great app

Great gameplay Medicore graphics. As a paying customer, I would like to make a few suggestions as to some improvements i hope you make in future updates. First and foremost, graphics. Graphics can be improved for i4/i4s users. i5 users can greatly benefit from enhanced graphics due to the larger screen. Overall graphics should be improved! Next, please make the flares work and fix the glitch with choosing planes!!! I hope to see more planes and missions in the near future. Other than that i am overall satisfied with this game =]

Super Game. This is a great game! I'm really impressed with the graphics and abilities of the aircraft. Here's a little tip: Some missions have more targets than the number of missiles you carry, so I landed at a friendly airport and taxied to the Tarmac and the missiles reload. Love this game!

Keeps crashing!. Not sure if it's my Iphone 4S or not. I have the latest update but now about half the time when I download a new scenario the app goes into the background and my desktop appears. Never does this if it loads and I can fly! Never did this when I originally loaded app, about a year+ ago.

NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. It really needs to be updated till it is like the CARRIER LANDING game, except it still needs to be an air assault game. It needs more planes, main menu improvement, ability to reload missiles during missions, better graphics, bombs AND missiles, and bug fixes. Other then that it's great game.

Must have game. I give it 4 stars as no update has been given since over a year. Other wise worth playing game. And must have it in your game arsenal if you love air combat simulator game.

Cool Beans Man. Great App. I only wish for an upgrade to enable reloads on carriers and airports. Land, reload and continue the mission. Additionally, having a set number of shots on the cannon would add to the realistic feel of this already GREAT game. April 24, 2015 Still a great game. Shack! Nice Sim W/Scenery editor. Very nice flight sim. Physics feel good. I've tried my share of sims, this one is better than most. You get the feel of arcade with realism. Not hard to get the feel of the characteristics but, enough controls to give challenge. Excellent presentation. It does have room for improvement such as more MDS types; Corsair, P51, etc. The capability to see entire map with elevation mask for planning missions. Added defense against ground missiles; flares. In the scenario editor add capability to rotate air strips to any degrees. I'm looking forward to the next update! Hope soon. SPOT ON!

Maj. Muñoz USMC. Great job. But i expect an update soon. To fix some minor bugs on graphical issues, and add more planes. Also, to be able to reload ammo. The C2 groundhog is a cargo plane. Its slow by designed so is very realistic and thats good, but it could carry at least 4 ag 65 to destroyground targets. And a faster machine gun. To defend itselfe from choppers. I think is the Best simulator yet. Thats why i give 5 stars. Include harrier jets AV 8b Please update this air navy fighter

Awesome!!. This game really is the best combination of arcade and simulation. You don't have to know aviation to enjoy this game, but it still appeals to those who do. It runs very smoothly and can waste the hours away without you even knowing it. Worth the money big time!

Amazing game!. Very realistic as it can be on iPhone. You can download Custom maps That other people build. And you can build your own maps! Would love to see more Planes and Weapons! Absolutely worth paying $5...

Leaderboards Bug. Great game with one major pain in the backside bug. I've contacted rortos and received a response that they'd investigate it, then nothing! Score the highest score in the world on a mission, or any among the top ten, and have your pilot name appear on the leaderboard only to have it disappear by the next day. Your time and score still show as among the top ten, but your name is gone from the leaderboard. What's the point of flying missions against and beating other players only to mysteriously lose your standing on the leaderboard? If leaderboards don't matter to you, it's pretty good, but if you regularly score among the top pilots and get no credit, why bother?

UPDATE. This app is fun but I've had it for almost 3 years and I've been waiting for an update while F-18 Carrier landing has gotten 2 updates. It's way past due for an update. Compared to the other simulators you've made this it your worst simulator because of the lack of updates to it. Suggestions- -The ability to fold in the wings of the F-14 tomcat. -More missions. Able to switch aircraft on the carrier during missions. -Better performance of the missile that is air to ground and air to air. (Meaning at high speed with the tomcat around the speed 1,100 the missile will fire but fail to keep going to the target.) -More aircraft -more types of enemy's

Please! Commercial aircraft!. Superb! But as the software is the best out there, how I long to see a very difficult but EXACT flight physics that this supreme group of coders have created!

F18 carrier. Hi everyone I recently bought this game and honestly it's not great there are only 3 planes of which one is the high speed action filled adventure the others are slow and boring to fly this game seriously needs to get more plans more updates not once every 6 months just to update to a new iOS

Great app but needs update. This is a great game, but it needs an update. It would be really cool if you can add Air-to-air missions like destroying aircraft would be pretty fun. Also it needs to have 3-D graphics like the "F/A-18 Carrier Landing" one would make the game awesome. Also would be cool if you could add "Vapor" to the planes like when you make a minimum turn or you pull the plane up it could make a vapor and also when you break the sound barrier. The planes NEED to have the "Tail Flap" MOVING. When you roll your plane it's unrealistic when the "Tail Flaps" don't move. Hopefully this app can be updated soon.

What Happened?. Server down for two days now. This game is worthless if you can't get new scenarios. When it's working it's a great game. Update 8/23: server still down - 6 days now. No word from company. Apple should pull this app from the App Store because it's now a fraud. Update 9/5: SERVER STILL UNAVAILABLE! Now it shows scenarios but it won't load them. When is Apple going to get involved and make them pull this from the App Store? The company that makes this game has lost all credibility and now Apple is starting to lose credibility also because they have allowed this company to sell a game that doesn't work for 2 weeks.

Great Flight Simulator. I love this simulator, I always was interested in Naval Aviation and how Navy carrier pilots land their aircraft on an aircraft carrier at sea, BOY! I can say I have the upmost respect for them even the more, to do this for a living and career you have to be a good navy carrier pilot, I have to say it took practice to land on the carrier without crashing, I made a bolters and have to go around again but after at least three or four of them I landed the plane aboard the ship it was intense (LOL)! I'm hoping in your next updates that you could add more naval aircraft like the A-7 corsairs, the A-6 intruder, and even some of the older plane like the F-4 Phantom which is my Favorite and the A-4 Skyhawk, and the graphics could be stand for improvement as well, I like how you can build your maps, but it be great if you could make the airbases rotate the way you want them and with also with runways going in different angles, but overall this is a good naval Flight simulator.

No air combat. All in all, I loved the game. Amazing graphics, never crashed, and a scenario builder? Why doesn't every game have that?!?! But I was disappointed by there being no air to air combat. I understand the helicopters shot back but I would love to shoot a missile at a mig.

B-17. This game is great but if there was a B-17 Flying Fortress that would be awesome!

Feedback. The game is good but gets boring after a short time, needs more air crafts and weaponry, the game runs ok on my phone and the controls are manageable , It can be a 5 star game and more if there were more than 3 air crafts to choose from with more weapons.

Really good. Landing on the carrier or on an airfield should rearm your plane, also maybe consider adding limited fuel just to make it a bit more realistic and interesting, on the whole though really fun.

Ok game. This is an ok game but it would be better if it had the same planes as carrier landing pro, same graphics etc, when you Land at any airport the tower is invisible the only thing that is visible is the top of the tower. can you please update this game so it has the same planes and graphics etc as carrier landing pro. Once it is updated and problems fixed etc then I will give this game five Stars. But I can only give you 2 stars at this stage. Thanks, Daniel

Review. I agree with all the other reviews but has anyone thought of a fuel option. For example if you want to sit at full speed at low altitude you burn fuel and would need to refuel as you can do for ammo. Especially agree with more aircraft of link them as I have bought them in the landing game.

Nope. All the other Rortos games have way better graphics, controls and details. The cockpit is 2D and even the free games such as F/A 18 carrier landing lite or AirFighters have an interactive view of the cockpit. The graphics aren’t anywhere as good as your other games so please Change this. I do not recommend this as it is a waste of money. If you want something good get the war pack on AirFighters

Good game, but.... Needs more aircraft like f35, f22 and f16 That's about it then a definite 5 star!

Plane explodes on carrier. Please update this game so that the plane doesn't explode on a safe landing. Once this bug is fixed it becomes a 5 star game.

Maybe an idea. I think this is a good game but maybe I good idea for more features for scenario editor like bridges different enemy ships and maybe helicopters like the cobra and Blackhawks and maybe the f35 fighter just suggestions though but would be good if you actually made these

Excellent. Great game play and realistic controls (for a phone game). Just need to include some air to air missiles and fixed wing enemy aircraft. Also, change the radio messages relating to take off/landing as 'cleared for' rather than 'allowed to'

Great App very playable on the IPhone. The app is very good and realistic. My recommendations for slight improvements would be as follows Option for a separate alt and speed in the HUD mode as sometimes it can be difficult to read in cloud ect. I am using iPhone and suspect less of an issue for iPad Maybe an option for aircraft repair and replenishing of ammo in mission for the long downloaded missions but having a certain amount of ammo does add to the game as it forces you to get better at flying so you can take out targets at low alt with machine gun. Last and not least a movable/zoomable map in mission when you pause so you can check out all the arena. Having said all of this the app is challenging but is a lot of fun once you master the takeoffs and landings and the best approach to attack things. Thanks for such a great App

Awesome. This app is soo much fun blowing up ships, ground targets and the creating your own scenario. Recommendations - Please put better particle effects for the flares on the planes - more planes (F-22, A-10 thunderbolt) - when you land on a base or aircraft carrier you restock missiles - enemy fighter jets - more ground targets

Very Good Game. Awesome game, would be nice if more planes were added... Also when I try to use the C-2A GREYHOUND the game will crash. Please fix this soon. November 13

Annoying glitches. Ok game good and all but there are tons of huge glitches which just ruin the game avoid until multiple bugs fixed

Great, but Server can be Intermittent. Great App. Heaps of fun, especially playing other users' scenarios and creating your own. One gripe is that the server sometimes seems unresponsive and doesn't record your score. Once you've completed a scenario you can't re-register a score, so you lose the chance to get rated on the Leaders list. That's a bummer when you've honed a run and get a great score but miss the chance of getting it recorded. BUT, it's heaps of fun and I only mention the gripe in the hope that it might improve. If it was rubbish I wouldn't bother to write a review. It's really good.

Wicked game but it keeps crashing!. I first tried the lite version and loved it and so I decided to buy the full version and since I bought it, I can't barely use it! When ever I try to use the C-2 greyhound, the game crashes and even if I got the F-18 or F-14 selected, it still crashes in the missions. The only missions i can actually do is the first two! It wont let me play the rest! But other than that the game is a overall 5!

Doesn't work most times. Unable to get the controls to appear let alone work most times. Screen locks. Not happy. Unless fixes are made don't purchase.

Abandoned. I loved this game when I first downloaded it a few years ago. Now I am unable to download any scenarios and it feels like the developer has just completely abandon his app. I liked it so much that I decided to download the paid version which also has no scenarios to play. Apple should have something where the developer is required to maintain their app. After approx 5 years, I’m deleting it today.

Cool. I really like the ability to create my own scenarios. What would make this game awesome would be if the makers could get permission to use Google Earth maps of certain regions. I tried creating a replica of the Hawaiian Islands to fly around. Oh, and it's fun to blow up stuff too. :-)

Really enjoyable game, great way to pass time. One thing I really like is how quick the game loads and you can play. Other games bloat with advertising and videos and cut screens that are pointless. This game is super fun, quick to action, never crashed on me, and the downloadable scenarios keep it going even if the devs don't. Great concept! Would be good to add jet fighters as opponents but apart from that, great game. Oh and maybe a couple more planes we can fly.

terrific. i'm 57 and i think this is a teriffic app!! Absolutely luv it!! July11/13.This app now crashes a LOT when searching missions.It never used to! What's different now? It is now April 2015 and I have noticed that someone is using my pilots name "welder Dave". I have now switched to "the real weld Dave" pilots name. I only discovered this by accident by checking my scores and noticing there were two Welder Dave's with different scores and some missions I had not played.please get this cheat off of this site. Thanks, "The real weld Dave"

Amazing. Really good game. One of the most realistic. They should add in enemy jets though. Kinda gets boring just attacking ships and helis.

Used to be great. Controls are very difficult when landing, used to be a great game. Now it literally sucks.

Crashing. The c-2 keeps making it crash whenever i try to play.. It happens on both games..

Tough to get into. The graphics in this app are so poor it makes it impossible to emerse yourself in the gameplay. Not even close to being worth the money.

It's good.. They should add the A-10 Thunderbolt and other planes and make the landing a little more easy.

Crashes now, why?. Love this game, had it for about a year now. But some some reason for about 2 weeks now, the game crashes after the first couple of screens. Tried killing all my aps, and reset the ipad but still crashes. Can't play any more.

Update Needed—BOOM!!!. Still fun and challenging. Like the mission builder. Unfortunately, explodes into flames after successfully landing and coming to a stop on the tarmac or carrier deck.

U can reload. Fun app, making scenarios excellent. Dare you to try my Yokohama scenario... Wish those making them would be a little reasonable, stop putting Sam's at end of runway. Would like to see option whereby landing at air field with hanger repairs damages if you pull up to hanger Remember you can reload weapons by landing at any airfield, carrier or rescue base.

I’m loving this game. This game is so cool. Like the previous requests, can you add more aircrafts? Besides that, GREAT GAME!!!!

Lots of fun. I wish they would update the app and put all the F-18 landing planes in here and the C-130 gunship

Crash. I like the game, but i cant use the third plane in free flight cause it crashes and i cant start the third mission without it crashing on me

Why. It didn't give me the option to choose a weapon in combat training is it suppose to be made for iPhone 5 not iPhone 4?

Awesome. Awesome game guys, but I'd like to see more planes/weapons. More enemies too, like fighters, tanks, carriers, cruisers, etc. keep up the good work!

Bombs. Are they planning on making a plane able to drop bombs to?

Suggestions. Could you make the graphics as good as they are in F/A-18 carrier landing?

Total Crap. Played the lite version and loved it. After purchasing the full version, it doesn't let me use anything but the first plane. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT buy this game. I wish I could give less than half of a star.

Great game. Could you add helicopters and more airplanes like the night hawk and the a10 warthog thank you this is a very cool flight sim

F-18 All Games. the two that I have are fun and realistic as far as I can see. fun play and precise. worth the buyes....

Plank Owner VFA-106. I'm a plank owner for VFA-106 and love seeing the Gladiators on the F/A-18s. I was part of the Fleet Introduction Team at NAS Cecil Field. This game is AWESOME and brings back great memories.

Update. When are you going to update the graphics like your other flight simulator, this one feels like the red headed step child...needs more planes, more realistic SAM's

Good. I would rate it five stars if you can add some helicopters like a U.S. Coast Guard one for Search and Rescue missions there is no game that has one yet and I think it could be really cool.

Needs an update! Soon!. I love this game but its time for an update. And not just a minor update, it should have the same graphics as the lander version. Give us the same quality and I'll give back the 5 stars.

B52 bombers. Its good and all but some levels you should add a bombing run whit a b52

Was fun now not so. Got an update for his game about a week ago...the aircraft use to be able to take a few hits from bullets..now just 1 hit and your shot down...not fun anymore..emailed support and no response....

Not bad but...... I think the game should be improved and many planes added. Also the camera tha follows the plane should be improved. With more planes and missions this game could be able to compete against H.A.W.X

Hey developer, wake up!. I purchased this app after long contemplation. Unfortunately, the only aircraft is available is the F/A 18 Hornet. I am utterly disgusted. Crashes. This is a great app... When it doesn't crash. During several games over 10 minutes the game will freeze and the app will close. Needs to be fixed.

Awsome. This is awesome it could use bigger planes like a C-130 or a C5supermgalaxy one of the best so .............thumbs up

What is the different from the free version ???. Only 2 air plain more ? - the 1.99 is not the problem ... But maybe to spice it up little more ... Air fulling commands etc ...

Server down !. Great game. Needs an update and the server has been down for like three days!! what's up with that?? Please fix, because I need MY fix!

Fair. Listen, make it possible to land I cant land. its impossible to land on a carrier its sort of hard to land at the airbase and add more planes and helicopters.

Great Game BUT. The game only downloaded the f-18, and some different sections require other airplanes which it did not down load, or even give you the option!

For the company not the public!. I am a paying customer and my only suggestion would be to add more fighters. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADD THE F-35 JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER! That would be awesome! Thank you! Also please add multiplayer! That's all it needs

Great Game...only if it worked!!. I purchased both of these games and they crash after less than 2 minutes!! Please find a fix for this. I want my money back!
