- ESPN Fantasy App

Our league has been together for twenty years on another site. This is the first year we moved to ESPN. While many of us start our fantasy careers in our 20’s, the power of technology has allowed us to stay together into our 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Note to Millennials: You will never have more free time than you do now. Once you get married, have kids, juggle careers, become active in the community you have less and less time to take care of high priorities like your fantasy team. I appreciate the resources made available prior to our the auction draft. I am grateful for two minute (or less) drills on injuries or free agent pick ups. I like Matthew Berry, Field Yates, and Stephania Bell equally well (although I wish Stephania would talk about routes more). I like the rankings that include Mike Clay and Eric Karabell. If the playoffs were held today in our ten team league I would be in, but we all know a lot can happen over the next nine weeks. I will click on the app on a regular basis and I hope the energy & enthusiasm of the talent over a long season will stay at a high level. Donald Hale Owner of “Eclipse This” Columbia, SC

- ESPN has been my worst fantasy experience

I have been playing fantasy sports for many years now and by far ESPN has the worst site ever. Idc about the app I mean for fantasy baseball and football it is terrible. For baseball u can only have 1 player on the DL and 3 bench players on your roster. This is horrible if u actually pay attention to it and want to play because u cannot change starting pitchers or players that do not have a game the day u r playing. For both sports the standings r screwed up. I have more points than a guy in my league and we have the same record but I am below him in the standings because he has had less "points allowed" than I have. So espn how am I supposed to have a defense in fantasy that stops the other team just curious I kinda want to know. I'm just glad the playoffs didn't start this week because I wouldn't have just left a review on the App Store I would have emailed someone to complain about this crap. I'm sure the ones with fantasy hockey and basketball have problems that I wouldn't understand with their teams but I don't have a fantasy basketball or hockey team and if I did it wouldn't be with espn. After this year I have decided I WILL NOT be playing any fantasy sport with espn next year and the years after unless these necessary changes r made. Ps If u want professional fantasy sports I recommend using yahoo they have been my favorite site to use

- Please fix Streak for the Cash

I’ve been playing SFTC since it began in 2008. When they decided to retire the Streak app, and add Streak to their new all-encompassing Fantasy app, it’s been bad. For starters, several message boards for props are down on a daily basis. You have to go to the espn Streak mobile site to look at the message board. What’s the point of the app if I have to use the mobile site? In order to see all matchups for a particular day, you have to click the “See all matchups” link. Let us see all the matchups without having to click another link to see them; instead of just seeing the forced espn props that they choose for us to see. I know one extra click is not a big deal, but it could be the difference between getting a prop in before it locks. Within the last few weeks, within comments on the message boards, the links to “load more comments” don’t work. Every time I try to load more comments, it just spins and never shows them. The message boards used to have some decent information and conversation from members. When they changed it to Facebook only members who can chat, it ruined the message boards. Tonight, I tried to post a comment twice on one of the hockey games, and it didn’t register my comment. Either go back to a SFTC dedicated app that works or fix this dreadful Streak part of the Fantasy app.

- There’s no way to communicate with other players!

This is the first review I’ve ever left in my life, just because this is so frustrating. If I want to make a trade there is zero way to just ask them hey who do you want for this guy? You don’t know who they value, who they want, where they want to upgrade so you’re left just sending random players/proposals. I tried attaching comments in a trade proposal only to find out that they don’t show up in the app or the email. If you try to post a message on the “talk smack” board, it doesn’t notify/alert or even put a little icon saying that someone posts something, so nobody ever checks it. I try to send a message directly to the person to talk smack, they get no notification. I post on the league message board, same thing. Unless you specifically go in and look at it, there’s no way to even know anything is there. I’m just trying to find a way to communicate with the other owners just to start a Facebook message or group but nobody even knows those messages are there. It looks like the default option for receive email is off too, because I had to toggle mine on, so I can’t even get a message to my commissioner. Talk about frustrating.

- Slow & buggy

I can’t believe I’m writing this on a Tuesday morning, but the app is even slow & bombing out now... and it’s so much worse when it matters most, on Sundays. Lineup changes & research in the last hour before games is terrible, especially after NFL teams post final injury status... and all through the games. This has been happening for years, and my league only remains here because of inertia. We know Yahoo is better (our friends share this by showing us the app of course). On top of it, in game point totals have been wrong with frequency this year, so “projections” are effectively meaningless since, if they are sometimes wrong... they might always be... so they have to be calculated offline/manually to be certain (that’s assuming the stats are right...) I really hope ESPN adds a server or a dozen, especially something extra on Sundays, or I’m going to be pushing for the change in 2020 that we’ve wanted for years now. If the app cannot work well, ESPECIALLY as you do final prep to set lineups and track your teams’ progress on game day — the second best part of fantasy football after the draft — what’s the point in staying around?

- Garbage

Been playing FF for 15 years and this app is pretty bad. It’s better on the website but this is America we use our phones dude. But that’s not really that much better. You can only set your lineup for the current week starting on Tuesday. Why is that a thing? I mean basically Espn decided you can’t go on an 8 day vacation and if it is a 7 day vacation make sure you come back by the 1pm games cause otherwise you just left all the injured and bye week players in. Kinda ridiculous. It’s not all that user friendly or aesthetically pleasing to the eye but you can get around all that if they let you set a lineup besides this week. I do like that is doesn’t just volunteer “transaction trends” like the yahoo app does cause then you can make moves instead of others just being handed who to pick up, but that’s about the only thing it’s got better than yahoo. Yahoo shows stats of the opposing ranks and such. I like being able to use research and insight to decide who to get but I’m not gonna spend half my week researching cause you guys can’t just put rankings like the website has on the app. Kinda wish i could give zero stars.

- Pretty Good but not perfect

This app is very good. There is nothing particularly wrong with it, but there are some quality of life problems that should be fixed. This is included being only able to access the my team and matchup options in the main menus, and also accessing other leagues. You have to click on the my team or matchups options and scroll right. Depending on where you are in the menu, other leagues are not accessible and you need to exit menus to get to them. There is also the same problem with editing team names and other settings and options. However, this app brings real time stats and clips to help you make educated decisions on who to bench and who to play. This includes text telling the status of a player, point averages, rankings and text to better explain events. This is a high 4 and could be a five with more updates to fix problems mentioned earlier.

- Final straw? Quite possibly

Every year, this app/ESPN Fantasy site in general somehow manages to be WORSE. First, it was only being offered half the league interface that continued to be available in a web browser, which was so unforgivably obtuse that it confounds the mind, made worse throughout all these years that it has never been corrected. But ESPN REALLY lost its way when the merger of all fantasy sports into one app happened. And we couldn’t fathom it would, that it even could, become worse. Yet, here we are, 2019, and every single year, you guys find some astonishingly unexpected way to muck it up further. This season, the most appalling slap in the face to your loyal users I’ve ever seen isn’t even within the app, it’s platform-wide: the deletion of league histories and the deletion of league trophies WITHOUT WARNING TO YOUR USERS. Disloyal. Disrespectful. Dishonorable. Despicable. Every year, our league debates leaving ESPN. Every year, support grows for finding a better service. This year, ESPN may have already secured the necessary votes for our league to go into 2020’s auction (our 12th year) elsewhere.

- Streak for the cash needs improvement

My dad and I have both had problems with making picks we don't want. When we are scrolling through the list of picks, one of our tap&drag actions on the screen will actually select a pick. I'm pretty sure when this happens, the animation to turn the pick yellow doesn't happen, or maybe it happens off screen because we are scrolling down the list. We weren't trying to select it, we were just trying to scroll. I'd really like it if this was fixed. Other than that, the app is pretty good. During fantasy football season it was a bit annoying that the app would load to streak for the cash and I would have to wait for the "loading picks" to finish before I could switch to the fantasy football portion and update my lineup. A bit stressful when it's 1 minute to kickoff and you want to make a change to your roster before the lineup locks. Other than that, pretty good app.

- Last Update Broke It

I don’t know what happened with the latest update, but the latest update has broken the app in so many ways. First off, when you click the app to open it for the first time, the app takes literally 3 lifespans to stop loading and actually load up, but if you don’t want to wait to die, be reborn, die again, and repeat 3 more times, then you have to close the app and quickly reopen it, so that it hopefully loads up correctly the 2nd time. *NOTE: You’d have to repeat this process over and over until it actually loads up correctly and let you fiddle with your fantasy sports lineups and whatnot!* Secondly, when you are FINALLY able to actually access the app and make changes to lineups and things, the app completely runs slower than a turtle in a 5K charity walk! It takes literally over 60 seconds sometimes to make even 1 player swapping change in lineups. Third and finally, even if you have deleted and redownloaded the app, THE SAME PROBLEMS STILL PERSIST!!!

- ESPN Fantasy Basketball App 👎🏾

2018 ESPN Fantasy Basketball App has been just horrible. I like this platform because it tends to be easier to manage (I’m a commissioner). You just can’t have an app that lets you edit your lineup then save your lineup only to find out that your lineup did not get saved. I’ve lost a matchup because D. Fox was on my bench. I set my lineup that morning as i usually do. Didn’t check it until games were under way. Fox dropped 49 fantasy points and i lost that week by 22. Now i have to save my lineup and check it thrice throughout the day. For some reason ESPN decided to only allow 4 veto votes maximum. I like to have it at 6 votes to veto which was allowed years past. Now I have to make it a LM vote and I’ll take the veto votes personally via text or phone call. I shouldn’t have to do this extra leg work. And too often the live scores are not correct. Part of the fun is watching the live scores. I’ll know 3 of my players have produced points but the app will indicate they haven’t even played yet. 2018 ESPN Fantasy Basketball app dropped the ball...

- Really bad fantasy football app

It had been a couple years since I did an ESPN league and I don’t see myself agreeing to one after the first two weeks of the season. The maneuvering is archaic and for some reason every page you tap to pulls up your keyboard as if it is needed. If you are looking to slide through the waiver wire and check out people quick this isn't the app for you. It is extremely tedious and requires closing and restarting the app constantly. I’ve never checked for updates to apps as much as I have for this one. Absolute trash. Also, mid game matchups view is embarrassing. Compared to yahoo it is complete BUTTHOLE. When checking out your sunday afternoon outlook in matchups you cant see projection changes throughout the game your player is playing. I don’t do fantasy football in order to have to calculate my own projections and evaluate how my matchup is looking. Better off writing your matchup on paper and filling in as you go. This app is so overly complicated it is silly. Just make it more like the Yahoo matchup screen. It isn't that difficult.

- Would give a 0 if possible

I’ve used this fantasy app for about 5 years now without issue until this football season. About 6 weeks into the season, my team data was completely gone. I logged in to change my lineup for the week and the screen directed me to sign up for a team or league when I was already logged in. From my commissioners side of things, everything looked normal. So I emailed the app support two different times and received no response aside from the automatic response that I assume is given to all people who email them. The last email I sent was over two weeks ago, again with no response. I don’t know what I have to do for ESPN to help me with this issue, and they seem to not want to help, so I’m writing this review. I would give the app a 0 out of 5 if possible because of this glitch and because ESPN refuses to help me fix it. Maybe this will get me some help with my issue but probably not since ESPN is incompetent. Don’t use this app unless you like being completely disappointed and angry 🙃

- I just don’t get it

We live in a time where advances in technology happen daily. Do you know that right now, there are people working on projects in medicine that inject tiny robots into your bloodstream that diagnose whether or not you have any infections, diseases, and so on, and then fixes it! Last year, ESPN Q1 earners were up 7% (as of Dec. 29, 2018) which is $1.3 billion. So ESPN has both money and operates during a time of seemly unlimited technological advances, yet..they can’t seem to hire or find someone to make their fantasy football app function properly...ever. Oh wow a trade alert let me go check it out...click on notification, “We’re sorry, the trade is not in the league associated with this account.” As I stare at matchup I have this week correctly displayed with the only league my account is in directly under that “your in the wrong league” notification, I think well how about I get updated scores and I correct information on a busy Sunday football slate...lol yea right. Never works. Just mind blowing...I don’t get it. Can you figure it out ESPN!

- Requires constant reinstalls

I downloaded this app to participate in my office’s fantasy league. This is my first fantasy sport experience, and I’ve not been impressed. After installing and registering I had trouble logging in to participate in a mock draft. The night of our leagues draft, I had to reinstall twice to log in. Thank goodness for high speed internet. Three others in our office experienced the same problem draft night, and one of them simply resorted to using the web interface. Since then, I’ve had to reinstall the app at least once a week when it is time to change my lineup. The error message comes up after the “loading your team and matchup” screen, and says “Unable to load the ESPN fantasy app. Please check your internet connection.” I’ve checked my internet connection, trying my work WiFi, home WiFi, friend’s WiFi, and cellular data connection. Regardless of the network, once the error appears, reinstalling the app fixes the problem and exact same network now lets me connect and load my team. I’m not the only one having this problem. All four of us in the office on iPhones either have to reinstall the app weekly, or use the web interface. This not just a problem with my phone or network. I’m already in the office league, so I’m going to keep it up through the end of this season, but if ESPN can’t fix the app by the end, I’m uninstalling after the season ends and won’t be bothering again.

- Ads cause it to crash

Typical. A multi-million dollar enterprise (owned by Disney, no less) looks for another stream of nickels. The solution? Market an app to fantasy football players and do NOTHING to improve their experience. Instead, focus on FORCING users to watch more ads. ESPN’s focus on advertising revenue through an otherwise usable app means you’re going to see force closes during or after your ad watching experience (you know, the whole reason you downloaded the app? To get a constant sales pitch for irrelevant crap?). The last “update” introduced a thirty second app on startup with NO ability to exit. SOME UPDATE. Greedy jerks. I can’t even view player updates without advertisements shutting the app down. Focus on the user, not ways to make a few more pennies at their expense. A good company can balance the trade-off between revenue and experience well. ESPN doesn’t even try and the force close, app failures only make me want to stop trying with them.

- Holy smokes these guys are brutal!

I gotta say, I am an avid Fantasy Hockey player and that sounds odd to some, but it’s fairly simple really. When I first started my league 5 years ago, this app was barely functional, all you could do was set your lineup on it, then they added waivers and stuff and they were actually doing a pretty decent job with the fantasy stuff. This year they updated the website and the app to look sleeker, and now it barley functions. I have complaints from long time members of my league about stats not loading right, schedule not loading, anything that can go wrong has. Also I am a member of a fantasy football league as well, which has had a issues through the season. I also would like to see User Trophies added back to Fantasy Hockey, or I may take my league and it’s 5 year history to yahoo next year, which would be a real shame. Fix your app, fix your website. Until then 2 stars.

- 2016 version is disappointing

I've used ESPN as my fantasy app for a few years now, this year has been the worst year of them all. Whether it's these annoying pop up ads, the slow load times, server crashes, lack of real time stat updates, stats getting updated then reversed, it's been a headache to use. I feel that the messenger feature within the app is too slow to use and it should be a more prominent feature than the way it's currently being implemented. There are some positives though, I do enjoy the user interface of the App. And ESPN has always made it easy to create and manage multiple teams/leagues. Overall, this app needs polish to be good. 2/5. UPDATE FOR 2019 version: While I still enjoy the user interface of the ESPN app, there is a big problem with the performance of this app. Like many others, if I minimize the app and try to go back to it at a later time, the app freezes and forces the user to close the app entirely and reopen just to use it. Pretty annoying. I also think the IBM Watson and player buzz parts of the app are useless and take up unnecessary resources and space. In its current state, as of October 2019, this app needs a performance upgrade. Get rid of some of the bloat and unnecessary features. There’s a reason why people are jumping ship to platforms like Sleeper or Yahoo. ESPN you’re dropping the ball.

- Great App: Easy to Fix nagging Weakness

I’ve been using the web app / iPhone app since the beginning and have been patiently awaiting a fix for two limitations that have plagued us as commissioners. 1.) Why is it that I can change owners and DELETE THE WHOLE LEAGUE, but I can’t approve trades in the app? This is frustrating as it is the most time sensitive activity I use and most frequently used. 2.) What is the point of a keeper system that doesn’t let you have keepers in pre set rounds other than your first two picks? The developers have done an amazing job in a very complex draft pick trading and player trades, but this one missing feature recurs every year and makes our league consider flea flicker / yahoo. Hate to look a gift horse; the app gets better every year, but I can’t complain if I never bring it up.

- ESPN MAILING IT IN ONCE AGAIN

Yeah I know it’s a free app but it’s as if they don’t even care to improve it with anything but an aesthetic upgrade every now and then. Sure a couple of functional changes happened last year but they didn’t make the app more user friendly. The stat research on the app is flat out garbage. And their draft room and preseason player breakdowns are a joke. For ex: 2020 B Ball app doesn’t have adequate or even remotely accurate stat projections. During my draft I wanted to see what Kyrie Irving’s projections for this upcoming season would be and they were obviously not his projections. Other starting caliber centers have zero RB as their per game projections. That’s ridicoilso. You’re ESPN. At least get that right. Also, as league manager I can’t do anything from my phone. I have to get on the full desktop to adjust settings in my league. Speaking of which, I have a friend who started his first league this season and made one mistake in his roster settings pre-draft. It’s impossible to adjust roster positions and such after the draft. Why is that so hard to do? Why not expand LM ability to sculpt each league to his or her liking? How much money does ESPN have? With all these advertisers I imagine their fantasy sports brings in some money. Maybe pay to really deliver an incredible app next year ESPN? Already looking forward to next season on a different app and this season hasn’t even started yet.

- Pales in Comparison to other Fantasy Apps

Out of all the applications I have used to play fantasy, the ESPN Fantasy App is the most lackluster and dysfunctional app as of date. The user interface is not aesthetically pleasing to view and the overall user interface lacks basic fluidity. The widget does not update properly during matches, player “alerts” are not consistent (I have to download a separate app to maintain live player updates during games), navigating within a league is robust in all the wrong categories, and it fails to make transitioning from live games, player content, and fantasy owner lineups fluid. That is only highlighting a few glaring issues. A lot of users have complained and added their reviews, but it appears that this app is set on clinging to its view of functionality. Popular opinion and user satisfaction is definitively overruled by ESPN Fantasy developers. Just take a look at the latest responses from ESPN Fantasy. First and last time using.

- Slow and Clunky

Have played ESPN Fantasy Sports for 10+ years, including Streak for the Cash, where I’ve made well over 5,000 picks. Love SFTC due to its ease of play, and fun concept. However, when ESPN decided to switch from its stand-alone app for SFTC to the ESPN Fantasy App, I have felt like quitting numerous times. It takes two to three times longer to play, the app crashes constantly for me, and it looks way worse. I’m still playing because I love the game, but each time the app crashes I love it a little less. My SFTC days are numbered, and that’s completely because of the new app. If you care about those that play (and I know you’ve heard countless number of people complain about the new app), then at least consider going back to the old app. Don’t be stubborn just to try and prove a point. Actually listen to your customers for once.

- Less Than One Star

I can’t rate an App that doesn’t function, but I will try. ESPN has really bombed this year. They used to set the standard for all fantasy sports. Now are a smoking dumpster fire! This app rarely functions. It just will not download on anything approaching a consistent basis. This problem is mirrored in the actual website, which is also unreliable and difficult to use. It’s a real shame. ESPN Fantasy used to be top notch. Over the summer they made changes- all bad. Hey guys, if you are listening you need to know that you are alienating your users. Our basketball leagues have already started so we are stuck, but if something doesn’t change soon, there will be a mass exodus to Yahoo next season.

- Meh

I just downloaded this to do some mocks. First of all, they have like a million of the same exact type of mock that no one uses but no variation or any kind of mock for unique roster rules. I play in an 8 team nl only auction league and they very rarely even have auction leagues, much less nl only ones. I also play in a 10 team mixed hth categories league and I’ve seen exactly 0 categories mocks, even tho I’ve played in several actual categories leagues on espn. I’ve been doing some mocks anyway to see where guys will go. If I leave the app to look a player up because the info on the app about the players is laughable at best, the draft skips me and auto drafts any schlub on the list. But you don’t have enough time to set your queue if you’re the only one drafting. Overall, it’s a pretty piss-poor effort from a company with the money and resources of espn, but it’s better than nothing

- No support for League Managers

Great app for most players...unless you’re a league manager. Barely offers anything for management in the app. Therefore, you have to log on to the actual website to adjust any league settings. Ok...I can do that...except when I log onto the website with it iPad or iPhone and log into the Fantasy side to adjust my league settings it automatically opens the app on the device. Only way around this is to DELETE the app on the device, then login to the website and make changes to the league. They either need to make the website not automatically push me into the app or allow access to make all changes allowed in the website through the app.

- ESPN Fantasy App NOT Updated before season

I’ve been using the Fantasy App for years on ESPN and not had any problems. But for the last year or so it feels like ESPN has done nothing to update the app other than add videos and ads that drain power. Now I’m ready for the next season of Fantasy Football and the app doesnt even have my updated team in my league. It feels like ESPN has done nothing to make this app worthwhile. Oh yeah, if you try to access your fantasy team FROM the ESPN website it sends you to the app that DOESNT have the updated roster. If they dont fix this problem soon, I might just switch to Yahoo moving forward

- Terrible

I've hated this app since day one because it freezes or just closes while I'm trying to make a pick. Today while attempting to make my next pick after getting the notice my latest was good, I chose to pick the Astros game. It kept asking if I wanted to change my selection even though I hadn't made one yet. So I scroll up and realize it shows I've made a pick I did not choose and one I would never choose. I tried to cancel and again it kept asking if I wanted to change my pick and I kept telling it I definitely did. This went on for a good 10 minutes of me closing the app and retrying because I knew that was a bad pick. It never let me cancel and make another selection and while trying the game locked. I email customer support immediately and of course got no response. Now my streak is broken and the Astros of course won. Go back to the old app or get one that freaking works. That is not fair.

- Disappointing Ads

I can say without a doubt that the only reason my friends and I choose ESPN for our fantasy leagues is because the mobile app is a little bit better than the competition (Yahoo, CBS, etc..). I’ve had to do a lot of convincing to get friends committed to running out leagues in here, and a major factor is the (relatively) seamless user experience. What does ESPN do halfway into the season? For the first time since before anyone can remember they throw frequent video advertisements into their fantasy platform. I’ve been okay with the countless banner ads on nearly every single page, but this just crossed a line and it seems as though next season many fantasy players will be taking their leagues elsewhere. Please stop making us watch frequent, not to mention, lengthy, video ads. An expectation was set for months and at a critical point in the season ESPN does what they do best and frustrate their users.

- Needs Bug Fix!!!

I have being playing fantasy football through the ESPN app now for around 7 years. I absolutely love the app and it’s easy to use. However, there is a bug right now that I don’t even know how it works. When I am in the fantasy football tab home page and there are videos recommended for me, when I click on them, they will not play. It’s not my WiFi, it’s not my data plan, i don’t know what it is but it is definitely something wrong with the app. What’s weird tho is that one I try to play that video and it doesn’t work, a playlist of videos will show up beneath that are basically in queue to play. If I click one of those videos at that time, then the video will play, no problem. It’s so annoying because that means that only way I can watch these videos is if they show up in the playlist after I try to play a different video. ESPN, please fix this!!!!!

- Great Service, Terrible App

I’ve been playing fantasy football for years through ESPN. I’ve had relatively few issues with their desktop interface, but this app is incredibly bugged. To even open the app I have to first open and close it multiple times, otherwise I get an endless screen of “loading your team and matchup data”. Then, there’s about a 50% chance that I get a screen saying I’m not connected to the internet even though I’ve tried multiple WiFi and LTE connections. Then if by some miracle I can actually get on the app, I am completely unable to even log into my account. I try to access the login page but can’t even get the email/password box to load. Great service when working properly, but the app itself is incredibly flawed and since this is a review of the app I can’t give any more than 1 star. Had to resort to chrome to fix my team this week.

- Video ads? What?

When it comes to fantasy platforms, this is not as intuitive as others I've used. I've refrained from leaving a review for awhile because i believe that just because I believe it may not be intuitive, some one else may find it to be. Also, just because the features are limited compared to other apps (no gif or image sharing in messenger, word limits on message board, annoying fantasy football analyst personalities, no recaps of games or stats to keep you engaged, just to name a few), doesn't mean someone else finds this app just perfect. What really did me in though was when they began showing mandatory video advertisements before checking your match up. That I think we can all agree is annoying. I will be suggesting to the commissioner that we change platforms next year.

- STFC 1Star. Fantasy sports section 5Stars

FOR YEARS i have used this app as my primary ESPN Fantasy sports app and it has never failed to get better and better each year! The fantasy portion of the app is the best of any app on the app store hands down!!! SFTC: streak for the cash used to be its own individual app and ran much better, it was integrated early 2017 into this app and since then it is too confusing to use, when the app opens the streaks available to be picked arent all of the matchups available!! I have to go to a separate that has logos and too much other stuff going on. I miss the text only format with check marks from the original app. Ive gone from a religious daily SFTC player to not playing in months because its too difficult to navigate quickly and make picks.

- It use to be better

My main issue with this app is how all of a sudden I don’t get alerts when players are going from starting to sitting for a day off. I don’t have time to be on this every sec of the day to constantly check every half hour who’s starting or not. I set my lineup around noon and then at night maybe 10pm I check scores. The app use to give you a notification when they changed the players status and it was a great help, too many times already this year it won’t update me about guys getting a day off and they get stuck starting for me and I leave double digit points on the bench because of this. Plz fix this issue ASAP! Cuz all my notifications have been on and never changed. This is not an issue on my end when friends are saying they don’t get those updates either anymore.

- This app is an actual dumpster fire anymore

My fantasy football league has been using exclusively ESPN for approximately the last decade or so. After this debacle of a fantasy season though, we’ve already decided that we’re done with this app. It takes, at the minimum, three separate occasions of clicking the app icon to actually get the app to pull up. When I’m finally able to access the app, I’m lucky if the app is able to run for more than five minutes without crashing. I have zero problems with this happening on every other fantasy platform that exists. I play fantasy hockey on the app too, yeah that’s not going to happen again, either. Literally every team in every league got deleted. You want an up and coming rookie who is just about to get called up from the AHL? Looks like you’ll have to wait two weeks for this player to be in your free agent pool, in the meantime “Unknown Player” will pile up points for....nobody. To summarize: The app doesn’t load when you want it to. It doesn’t continue to work when you want it to. ESPN’s team doesn’t care about fixing these issues. After several loyal years of using this app, I’m taking my fantasy gaming to Yahoo!. It’s significantly better than the dumpster fire that is the ESPN Fantasy App could ever even hope to be.

- Does what it says but capable of more.

This app is nice. It does what it advertizes. The UI is easy to use for beginners and rarely crashes. There are just a couple things it could use to improve. Thumbnail size pictures of the players for people using iPhone 5, 5s, or iPhone SE sized phones. I think you should display jersey numbers of the player in their basic bio (next to their position and health status). And the last thing i noticed could use a tweak is to add a badge notification, and perhaps and homescreen notification when someone posts in the dang league smack board chat. No one uses it because they barely know its there and there is no way to know any one used it unless they obsessivly check it. 4/5 stars.

- Waiver notifications, Ridiculous playoff format, etc.,...

1) Why are no email notifications sent for waIver transactions like every other major FF app? Yahoo, NFL Fantasy, & Sleeper all do this. This is very problematic if you play in multiple leagues. There is a place to set & request them, but it mysteriously turns itself off on mine, & other players apps? 2) Free leagues have a two week playoff match? Why? No one else does this, & it forces you to play on the most worthless week of the NFL season...Week 17 when most of the playoff teams rest the best players. Please go to a 14 week season with the playoffs in weeks 15 & 16 like the rest of the free world...sheesh! 3) The app layout is very dated. You’ve been passed up by the others in regards to graphics and functionality. 4) Finally, for gods sake please add an IR spot! It’s the NFL....injuries happen all the time.

- Such an inferior fantasy app

Reasons why Yahoo is the much better fantasy app: 1) standings update at midnight (PST) on Monday night (I don’t trust my ability to do math- tell me I’m right that I moved up in the rankings!), 2) new matchups show up Tuesday morning (why the hell do I want to relive last week ALL day Tuesday?), 3) push notifications when anyone on team scores (for those rare Sundays I’m not glued to RedZone), 4) more options for comparing available players (by percentage ownership, total points scored for season, etc), 5) ability to set future lineups (bc I’m OCD like that), 6) ability to see how player has done vs projection for whole season (bc I don’t trust either app’s projections), and 7) easier to get to matchup preview screen (extra steps annoy me!). The only thing I like better about ESPN is that the screen doesn’t lock when the matchup is live. Sorry ESPN, you have a lot of work to do!

- Likes dislikes

The things I like better on other sites. To be optional. Where you can choose to use as commissioner. Injury reserve option to save a bench spot. With the league getting more injury prone this is nice. The decimal system that yahoo uses is nice so that there are no or very rarely tied games. Also you could have more/better tie breaking options if that is not possible. Waiver rules are kinda basic and not really great. I have 16 team family league, I can speak for all of us on these ideas. We are considering using a different service next year. Positives I think the layout and overall performance/functionality of the application is great. Easy to navigate and use regardless of your technical expertise. The drafting and connecting with remote players drafting from out of town is good. I use my iPad application primarily and have had no problem getting around and using it. This will be our 7th year using this product as far use and functionality no problems. Some of us are good will computers and some are not, all have been comfortable using it. Just a few more of the options I listed above would make the experience much better. Thanks for time and listening. Thank Ben K

- Complicated

This app is easily the most complicated app I use. The app works; it doesn’t crash, however, there is just too much going on. For instance submitting picks is much too easy to exit out. If you want to look at a game preview, it appears a new window pops up but if you exit out of said window you are exited out of your picks and you have to start all over! The organization of teammate ranks is too complicated, as well. There should be a weekly rank and an overall rank, however, they are smashed in one chart unless you want to select your group and then a drop-down for your team’s weekly scoresheet. People don’t want to have to go through a series of complicated steps for information. Please make info more easily accessed and user friendly.

- Morons

I have read some of the other review complaints and it sounds like a zookeeper handed out iPads in the monkey house. Being absolutely free, the app is great. Most of the complaints center around the users not acclimating themselves to all the buttons and bars and their uses. Learn the app before you gripe. 6 years ago! Wow. ESPN's updates always seem to cause more problems than improvements. The latest update apparently leaves older iPads behind. Launching the fantasy football app just tells me to update and current compatibility doesn't include my iPad4's iOS (which is 10.3.3). The only way I can access ESPN's app is thru my browser. I am dropping my rating to two stars because oversight or deliberate disregard for older operating systems is unnecessarily lazy and uncaring.

- Love the app and much more room for improvement

The app is amazing, I love it. They could add more features as well! In my opinion they should add a comment section under the videos about the players so you can see what other people also think and get different opinions! Another feature they should add are a start em/sit Em category with 2 players you can put and they should make it so you can submit it and other fantasy users can vote on who they think you should start and sit. They can get much more creative with the app and I feel like this will give them a much bigger grip hold on the fantasy community.

- Continually getting worse

ESPN seems to feel the need to change this app every season, which is annoying in and of itself since as a result I have to familiarize myself with a new format each year instead of just being able to navigate to where everything used to be. What is worse now, however, is the loading time. The current iteration of this app takes upwards of 2-3 minutes to load. That might not sound like a long time, but try starting at blank screen for 150 seconds and it will seem a lot longer than you think. This used to be the best FF format, but since they can't seem to leave it alone it has become highly frustrating. I will be trying to convince my league to switch for 2020.

- Did this team do any usability testing?

This app is absolutely littered with unnecessary content. I don’t need a feed of every piece of fantasy news (relevant or not) or even the 25 “news” videos specific to my team. Where it used to take 1 click, it now takes 3 or 4 to get to the overall scoreboard. And come on with the swipe actions on the ‘box score’ screen; you don’t need to limit that action just to a specific area at the very top near the header. Finding out which players are with which team is extremely arduous, clicking in and out of different screens. So once you find that info, the player info only contains the team abbreviations for the “team name”. That’s about as useful as only having one sock. If the user can enter their team’s abbreviation, it may not necessarily be that relevant... Tab bars on top of tab bars are never a great idea, but this app has then in spades just showcasing how poorly optimized the menu is. The amount of exploration just to find a certain piece of content isn’t entertaining, rather disappointing. Is it so hard to add links to pertinent content on a similar page? Ask for some budget and do some UAT. Or - if you did - really scrutinize what you gave them to test. Because this app has taken a serious step back.

- Terrible

To whom it may concern, This is by far the worst app that has ever been created by human beings. I have to imagine that ESPN must still be using a system that operates on dial up internet, because wow. To the person that checks this app for bugs and doesn’t point out all the issues, how do you sleep at night? Fantasy football is a serious thing between my friends and I and you’ve somehow found a way to make it more frustrating. This app skips and crashes so often, I feel like I’m using a cell phone in a heavily wooded forest in 1994. Yahoo had 90 million accounts hacked last year and still manages to create a more functional fantasy football app. Great work. So what are you doing ESPN? How do you spend your time? You’re pretending to be a sports organization when you’re really just a baseless, copycat tabloid. Congrats on the Monday night football contract because that’s the only reason I’m still forced to associate with your brand. I want whoever is reading this to know that I could’ve have gotten much more poetic with this review but I haven’t the time nor the patience. So stop telling me how LeBron likes his eggs whites in the morning and fix this app, because in 2019, you’re most likely going to kiss another customer goodbye. Worst of luck, RC

- Multiple improvements needed

App is crashing when I try to go from "my team" to the "matchup" page The app is just OK. Luckily I also play fantasy baseball so it makes some sense. One star rating is mostly due to your inability to improve your draft software and other things. We want full control. I want to have a linear style, the options to have multiple drafts(rookies draft in linear format then snake draft for the remaining free agents) for one year, the ability to select where a keeper will be kept (5th round, 11th round, as opposed to just forcing them into my first two picks. With the app why is there no notification when some one posts to the message boards or the league manager posts a note. Why can't you just upload pictures from your phone for the team pictures? Changes these things and I will improve my rating.

- Great app!!

Great app love the scoring system and will continue to use this one better then the nfl mobile and all other fantasy sites in my opinion but I do wish they had the option on the mobile device to change all of the settings in the league as manager. As the manager I would like to be able to change more options to the league then just the draft settings and edit team managers other then that it is thee best sports fantasy app out there I highly recommend it and would give it 5 stars if it had the option to edit more options as a manager in the league via mobile device

- Restructure some aspects of the game

I’d like to be able to draft and trade individual defensive players. Here it is: Add 1 more scoring slot to the entire structure, take the flex and defensive slots and turn all of these into 3 individual defensive player slots (1 each for tackles/ends, linebackers, and secondary). Give points for tackles, blocked passes, forced fumbles, etc. This will also give each team 11 players. Also, give points to individual players that do well on special teams whether it’s scoring a touchdown, a decent return, onside kicks, causing fumbles, (give decent points to a kicker that tackles a kick returner) etc. To create more offensive flexibility, you could try turning 1 RB & 1 WR slots into 2 Flex options. Keep everything else as is. You could also maybe try adding a 12th slot for offensive lines, but I don’t think too many people would be interested in that.

- Issues on top of issues

A group of my buddies and I decided to do our annual football draft on here this year. We decided on a date and time for when we were going to have our draft, so being the league commish I set it. Low and behold the day of apparently there was no time set, so I tried setting it again, later that day everyone started asking me why there was no time set, so I went to go set it AGAIN... needless to say this continued to happen, and it showed that there was a draft time set on one of their computers, but for everyone else on the app there was no draft set. So giving up we made a new league with another person as commish. And now we are running into the issue that someone isn’t able to view anything in the league, ESPN needs to get their app on par with other fantasy sites, because this does not cut it.

- Horrible

Let me start by saying it wouldn’t be hard to make this App great, but the problem must be the developers just don’t listen. First of all the Mock Drafts have to many Mocks Drafts that no one uses, I don’t know one person in a 8 player draft, the majority of leagues are 12 player PPR Snake drafts, unfortunately it is extremely hard to get into one because they fill up so quickly. By far the worst thing wrong with ESPN fantasy football is the lack of being able to put a keeper in any round but the first round. Example, I am in a league where you could keep 1 player drafted after the 7th round, problem is you can only do keepers in the 1st round. There is no reason the league manager should not be able to remove players prior to our draft and insert them on the team prior to the draft. Hopefully they listen someday.

- Crashing, glitchy & slow to stay up-to-date

This was the only app l’ve used for years to play fantasy football because I didn’t rly know of any other apps. This year the app has been nothing but constant crashing & reloads, not to mention the lack of staying current on inactive players. If a team confirms a player will be inactive for Sunday’s game on Wednesday, the other apps I use will put that player as ‘Out’. This app will designate them as ‘doubtful’ until before the game on Sunday which means you can’t move them to IR and pick up another player essentially wasting a roster spot which is crucial in my league w/a short bench & position limits. Oh yea, and the constant CRASHING of the app. This is the last season of football I’ll be using this app until I hear that it’s better.

- Fix your system!

Great app, have been using it for years but this year has been terrible. The desktop version is horrible, you can’t even see updates on players or any links to games or a players schedule for the week. In both the app and desktop version, updates are coming through late and players who are clearly injured aren’t being listed as out until after FA transactions can be decided. This is just a few things that need fixing.

- Good, but could be better.

NBS Fantasy is awesome, this App is okay. The live scoring in this App is great, and the highlights are good too. A few improvements would make it fantastic: 1- a better way to cap total team games for the matchup. (We need to count all games up to the cap (eg: 30 games for the week) and then drop out the lowest scoring game in that 30 if a player has a higher scoring game before the week ends. It would make matchups closer and fairer and remove the “I’ve got no chance as they have five more games this week”. 2- Add a “Fill Roster” Button (like Yahoo) 3- Add an “Optimise Lineup” button (like NFL Fantasy) 4- Have the ability to switch between the “Players” tab and the “Roster” tab without each resetting to the default screen every time. When we are looking at a particular set of players and want to check our roster, we then have to enter all of the criteria again. 5- Add a “Hide Game Scores” option for those of us who want to see the fantasy scores but avoid the game results to watch later.

- Terrific Application

Well written, full of functionality, gets the job done when on the move. Particularly like ability to draft on the road while away from home. Well done ESPN!

- SO MANY BUGS AND GLITCHES

I’m a commish and we’ve been using Espn for years. And we’ve always loved it. But this year it has been awful and my league has been blasting me with all sorts of criticisms and examples of it not working ... if you changed providers in the offseason then please remove the person who made that decision

- First tome fantasy player

I know NBA, but using that knowledge to build a well oiled team is a learning process. This App is fairly comprehensive, most importantly making it simple to view a players information and statistical trends easily and quickly. The lag between selecting and claiming a player is more IRL than I like, as I feel a ‘fantasy’ format should learn more to playability.

- Add in update please

UPDATE! A total overall matchup statistic board should be able to be seen when you get put against another player at the start of the week 🙄 other than that awesome easy app!

- Perfect app

Love the updated photos, the easy to use interface and easy to navigate site. The news and advice columns are so convenient to access. Bring on the NBA season!

- Player search 👎

Set up basically the same as yahoo sports fantasy app but the search for this app is terrible. Can’t even search via rank of player. Pretty disappointing when trying to set your team up as you progress through the season

- Not as good as last season.

Fantasy is still fun and it’s a free app so I’m not gonna completely rubbish it. But it’s really clunky this season, updates on players are provided way behind when rotowire provides them and players come off waivers at what seems like a different time every day.

- Can’t open the app

There’s serious problems of the app. It keeps loading n not showing anything at all !!!! Useless

- Best yet

Tried and tested many fantasy league apps and this is easily the most user friendly and complete package.

- Easy to use, fun!

I'm loving this App. I spend way too long on it already and the NBA season is still a few weeks away! Epic time waster!😜

- Fantasy football

You really really need to add half point ppr to fantasy football, it’s the best way to play fantasy football by far, all the other sites have it, you only have full ppr and standard

- Box scores

Terrible Box score set up when checking stats

- IMPORTANT

You guys NEED to make it so nba league managers can edit their league setting in app. (Scoring categories, transactions, conferences etc etc). This app for the most part is great but it makes it almost impossible to manage and change your league in app.

- The best!!

Great app, makes it easy to manage team and get news all in one place.

- Great App!

So easy to use and gain player info! Love it!

- ESPN fantasy basketball

The app and the website have really taken a backward step in terms of interface, ease of use and visually this year. Our league are considered using another provider next season.

- Stats don’t match

Stats don’t match on the daily stat view with the players actual stats. Got played that are out that show up with active stats.

- Bug fix please!

Drop down menu, top left of app not working right now.

- It’s ok

Crashes way too often. Like the smooth interface. But could be far better

- Useless

App doesn't update live scores or refresh properly. On matchup mode it doesn't reflect players on your active lineup. Overall absolutely useless for competitive fantasy!! 👎👎👎

- No good

Such a bad interface. I can’t even see all counting stats on my matchup page. Seriously the worst ever. Enjoyed going off the old website last year

- Fantasy

It is heaven for sporty people

- Unstable

It is a great app but it’s very unstable. Every week it crashes and I can’t see the results. Ironically I am typing this review inside the app but cannot see the text I am writing. Fix the bugs ESPN!!

- Fantasy - Poor Platform

Our NBA fantasy league decided to run with this platform. It is clunky at best. PC layout is poor with scrolls when not needed. Statistics and game counts do not work properly.

- Worst app in the world

I hate this clunky slow heavy poorly designed app. But I have to use it. If there was another service I would change in a heartbeat.

- Soccer

Soccer das not working

- ESPN don’t care about fantasy anymore

Bugs locking in teams, adding players and many other issues. This app used to be good but ESPN don’t care anymore

- Poor performance

Love the game but the app is quite terrible. Regularly freezes and crashes.

- Doesn't work

After update I can log into my account then try to select team and get kicked. Please fix.

- Not working

The app basically hasn’t worked this nba season. None of our league is able to use the app. Please rectify.

- Garbage

What are you doing, ESPN? Seriously, if I did my job this bad I’d have been fired a long time ago. App doesn’t even load, and it’s buggy as. Try harder.

- Very poor app

So clunky - really needs some work. ESPN a world leader in sports but I could make a better app on my abacus

- Fix the bugs. So unreliable

Sometimes this app is great and other times just terrible. Fix it.

- Disappointing layout

What they have done with the new layout is very disappointing

- Used to love it but this ruined it

Reported blatant collusion and cheating between two guys in a league and ESPN does nothing despite agreeing that they were cheating.

- Hard to use

First time user, no instruction, or even anything close

- Slow!

I’m not sure what they have done to this app but it’s so slow now

- Crashing

Continually crashes

- Crashing

Has started crashing on the day of the NBA season tip off.

- New update

What’s with the ads in the new update? The ad wasn’t even relevant.

- Good

Good

- Awful

Absolute garbage app. Just hopeless.

- Easy to use

Good NFL fantasy app. Would like to be able to change my team for the future weeks before the current week's game are complete.

- Pretty good so far

This is the best version of the app yet. What I'd like to see in the app is for declining trades the ability to give feedback. There seems to be no option for that unless on desktop. Also it would be nice to see position eligibility updates again this is only a desktop feature. But the app is the best yet. Just needs some minor upgrades. This is fantasy baseball I'm talking about

- So far it's been good...

...but only just installed and more of a fantasy NBA fan than NFL. Love that you can draft using the app. The lack of stats viewing may become a big issue... I did go looking for keepers the other day and couldn't find it... If ESPN listen to people and improve the app incrementally then all power to them.

- Absolutely beautiful

Could not be happier with the new update. Everything works extremely well and it's very aesthetically pleasing, from colours to the layout and the mock draft setup. Couldn't be happier. Thank you!!

- Fantasy football and stuff

I think the Manning brothers said it best when they said "Fantasy football, football fantasy"

- Fun to use with friends

Fun app to use with players at our club. Would be better if they had an alert a half hour before you are locked out of changing your line up for the day

- Love it

Amazingly easy to use

- Love it!

Super easy to use and always informative

- Honestly really cool

It could use more team customization and stuff but other than that it's a great app

- New update this morning

Now it says I have to update my operating system to 12.4 (from 10.3) or it won't let me on the site. Currently in both a baseball and football pool and unable to access my teams! What a brutal site, screws us in mid season!!

- Find a better platform

Seriously. It is astounding how much worse this app has become over the past couple years. Unreliable point tracking, inexplicable roster locks, complete lack of ability to manage league settings within the app... I’d feel ashamed if I was in any way associated with this cash-out of a platform. Move to a different one, you’ll be amazed at how much better virtually any other platform is than this one.

- New version is awful!

Not sure why it had to be changed, this version is garbage. At least give the option to use old version. In this case, new is definitely not better.

- The worst fantasy football platform available

Switch your league to any other fantasy football site...this one is by far the worst

- CSS check failure

Ap opens but everything is all jumbled and w t open properly. Constantly wont let me in, issues at start of fantasy ..... just like last year.

- Absolutely brutal

Worst NFL fantasy site to date.

- Trash

App is trash and it forces you to use it instead of browser.

- FAB need to edit

Clicking on players should have options to trade And we need to be able to edit waiver wire to a fab!!!!!

- FIX YOUR APP

I can’t use this because it keeps telling me to update it and it won’t let me update!

- Love it!!!!

Big day for minivans!!!!!

- Useless

App won’t work without updating but also won’t update because I don’t have the latest OS. Useless.

- charging people to read articles, nough said

.... is no stars an option

- New comer on ESPN, love it so far, can’t wait to draft!

New comer on ESPN, love it so far, can’t wait to draft!

- Ideas

Used this app for a few years now and it is perfect! Easy, quick and fun. I’d love to see league history be added to each of the fantasy sports leagues as well as the option to change your ESPN member name. Keep up the great work ESPN!

- App needs to have better ease of access.

Please take a look at yahoos app. It’s like espn is trying to be different but making it more difficult to use. Example, click on a player, you’d think the bye week would show. It’s no where to be found. One example of many. Please update ASAP.

- Surprisingly impressive

First time ever doing fantasy or using a fantasy app & I'm surprisingly happy with the eapn fantasy app. Easy to navigate & use. Only thing I would recommend is adding a ”back” button type thing that only takes you back one ”screen”. You'll be looking up stats for a trade and then it just takes your right out to the main screen & you have to start all over. Weird, but not a deal breaker

- Simply Great

Such a nice application

- NEEDS UPDATE

whenever I try to sign in the screen just goes white, and I can’t get into the app

- Not impressed

The “Streak” part of the app is completely inaccurate. The percentage which is provided by the app( or so I assume) is almost never correct.

- Loading issues

App won’t load.

- Upgrade

Look at fantrax You are not even close!

- Worst fantasy app ever

Not user friendly at all!

- I love it!!!

One of those apps you wake up in the morning and get excited to check!! Makes basketball even more fun!!

- Crashing

Every time I try to open the app it sends me to the ESPN website or it crashes. Can it please be fixed soon.

- Stat Correction- delay

Originally won my week 3 matchup by 0.5 point after 3 days I somehow lost by 3 points. Your app was very slow to to update. Also this review is in white ink and I can’t read what I’m writing!!!

- Riddled with bugs.

Most things get better with time, not this app. Its been crashing and glitching more frequently than past years. Very frustrating to put up with for a full season of fantasy. DO NOT START A LEAGUE ON ESPN

- White screen

My roster is just a white screen. I can’t see anything on any screen. App isn’t working the way it’s intended!

- Poor functionality and important data is missing

We are 2 months into the bball season and I still cannot play videos in the app, and vital stats are left out like how many minutes a player has played in each game. If you predominantly use the app you are at a huge disadvantage

- Good but kinda glitchy

This app works well and has a pretty good layout but it can be glitchy and slow a fair amount of time

- Changes

The app isn’t bad there are just a few things that need to be changed for it to be useful. The main ones for fantasy basketball is that when we click on a player profile, it doesn’t let it click to see a detailed game by game option. It also doesn’t show minutes played per game. Another change that should be made is to allow the league manager the ability to make changes in the app. The first problems are the most annoying, but if it could be changed to include these things, the app could be really good.

- Loading ....

Refuses to load, I even updated it since the new update was supposed to “fix being held on loading screen” I haven’t been able to get in the app for TWO DAYS. I cant monitor my team not made trades/ changes.

- This app is trash

That update u had didn’t do nothing I’ve been stuck on the loading screen for the whole day....

- Yahoo is way better

YAHOO!! Way better

- Not opening

App continues to not load

- Glitchy

App takes to long to load even with good connection

- Meh

Such awful loading times it becomes unusable at times.

- Load time.

Can’t get on the app. Takes forever to load up

- App has consistently gotten worse.

On top on declining menu functionality, this app has to be opened 5+ times just to get it to work. iPhone 11.

- Won’t load

Will not load, can’t set lineup

- Almost completely unusable

I’m not a big fan of leaving negative reviews, however I joined a new fantasy league that is ESPN instead of Yahoo. I am completely surprised this app is rated almost 5 stars. Every time I go to use it, with fantastic internet, it just times out. I’ve lost almost all interest in my league because I can never seem to find out how I am doing as it just times out. Do some performance tuning and I’d be happy to revise my review if you can bring the app to a point where it functions.

- Constantly hanging and having to be force closed

Fix the app already. Constantly have to force close the app 2-3 times before anything will load.

- Needs an update

Don’t download, crashes anytime you open it. Every time open close and then open again. Please fix or I’m going to yahoo

- Slow

Always loading and need to restart

- App always needs to be closed and reopened

Constant issues opening this thing — always locks up and must be closed, sometimes multiple times, before it will finally open. 5 minutes later and you want to open the app again — repeat the process. Terrible.

- Crap

Never works. Especially on Sunday’s. Crap.

- Doesn't load

This app used to be good. Now it lags all the time and never loads the first time you open it. Yahoo looking better every day

- Useless atm...

Has worked fine in past years but for some reason it has been trash since our draft a week and a half ago. Only loads intermittently, freezes, crashes... needs an update at the very least.

- Winner, winner, Chicken dinner

When I read these reviews from people that give ESPN Fantasy a bad review all I can say is that they must be losers. So the app was down a couple of times. It was back up in no time at all. I also think that it helps when you have a phone that was made after 2010. Anyway I will keep playing and hope that all the cry babies move on. I hear that Yahoo is pretty good , you get to play everyone in your league each week with the top scorer getting a W while everyone else gets an L. Great strategy right? Thank you ESPN for putting this together it’s been fun.

- Worse than previous versions

I had several issues with the app since it changed. I believe the change was just prior to the start of the 2019 MLB season. The Message Boards still do not work in the app, with only some of the messages showing up. Additionally on the website you can no longer see historical Message boards from past seasons. The app can also have other glitches from time to time that cause issues for our league and setting daily lineups. Additionally, this is the first year the app will not allow offseason trading. So our commissioner has to manually process all trades, which is an extra burden for him and slows down the process for the whole league.

- Works ok but with a few changes it could really rock

Wish I could merge the great aspects of Yahoo and ESPN. When looking at the waiver wire, Yahoo lets you see your guys (only not all avail) with the rest of the free agents. I like you can see the next 5 or 6 weeks on ESPN, but want to compare my guy vs waivers on those aspects. I also like some aspects of the matchup on yahoo, a bit more intuitive getting from place to place. Also there is no way to know how the schedule is set for two division, 12 team league. Our league winner last year is playing the worst team twice while the rest of us have harder opponents. There should be an option to have better teams with harder schedules outside the division.

- Autoplay ads ruin this formerly great ap

This app used to be great. Within the last week they have started to force users to watch a 15 second ad before being able to do anything. Annoying? Yes-but not the end of the world. What is the end of the world: these ads force full volume on your phone regardless of your volume settings. My phone was on do not disturb, silent, and volume fully turned down. I opened the app to check my lineup during some down time while between seeing patients in the hospital and BOOM! Full volume ad. Could not have made me look worse in front of my attending. This is absolutely absurd. If they don’t fix this I will take my league of 8 years to another site as that is beyond intrusive and honestly a breech of user privacy. Clean it up ESPN-that is completely unacceptable.

- Need more information

It would be helpful for people that are new to fantasy football if there was a section to fully explain how to play and how things work. I didn’t know how the draft would go ahead of time and had to hope it would work out ok, which it did. Now that the draft is over I don’t know how the scoring works, how to make trades, how to pick up new players, or how to change lineups so again I am left hoping to figure it out as I go along. It seems this is more set up for people that know how to play and have played before.

- Just 2 suggestions

It’s a good app overall. Two suggestions (1 big one): 1) It’s fairly easy to accidentally press Drop when looking at your player’s info on small device such as an iPhone. Add a Confirm button like you do when adding a player or changing your lineup. I’ve accidentally dropped a player by accidentally pressing the Drop button. I had it happen once in the ESPN Fantasy Football app also. 2) Sometimes when you’re looking at news on a player it will state that the player is out of the lineup that day. However the red exclamation point has not yet appeared next to the player’s name.

- Stop trying to force ESPN+

Our league has been together for five years now. Been using ESPN. The web version is a better. You have more control over everything. The apps is very bar bones. Before last year you could get information from the multitudes of ESPN personalities. Now they are pushing everything to ESPN + to get your information. The problem with that is you have to subscribe. What ESPN forgot is that because of the internet I can find any and all my information on many free sites. I will not pay for fantasy information. I do miss the Mathew Berry show and Secret Squirrel. But I’m not paying for it. Make the app function more like the web version. Stop putting all your information behind a subscription walls. All you are doing is driving your customers to other services.

- Waivers and IR are horrible!

You list players as out and we move them to IR. It should be up to me when they are healthy enough to return. Instead on our waiver night you change their status to questionable and I loose my waiver claim to someone else and then loose the season. Then Sunday comes and they don’t play and you change their status to out..... wash, rinse, repeat!!!! It’s getting old, I’m the owner and manager of me team. It should be up to me to decide when they are healthy! At the very least they should not have their status changed until they have proven they can play! this flaw needs to be fixed! When we have an injury it puts us at a disadvantage and the health status compounds it and makes it worse so the best team rarely wins!!!!!

- ESPN Fantasy Football App Review

It needs more stats listed for the players, such as the prior weeks fantasy point etc. maybe by sliding on the screen to see more stats. I’m finding myself constantly having to cancel out when picking up a new player and having to decide which player to drop because I can’t see enough of there stats. I have to cancel out the pick up and drop, go back and click on my original player to pull up more stats and then start over. I still feel the desktop format is the best.

- Fantasy ideas

I enjoy skimming through my fantasy team and available players on the waiver wire but I think the experience would be more intriguing if each player had links to their newest highlights or all their highlights from the season .. I also think espn should make a weekly battle between ALL fantasy players in the world. The battle would consist of fantasy players picking predictions throughout the waiver wire who they think might have a breakout game or predict which starters will bust. ( make our own projections ) and whoever nails the most predictions throughout the season wins a prize! Like a trip to a super bowl or something. Or fantasy football clothes ( t-shirts , hoodies, hats) Or.. get this.. a chance to sit in with your fantasy gurus for a broadcast !? This would creat much more nostalgia, boost the obsession to another level , help educate those lost fantasy souls out there and ultimately ... Open more doors for the future of fantasy football., 🏈👍🏻😎 Football is life,,, Life is the metaphor God speed

- Annoying Glitch

I use this app to play fantasy hockey and twice now in the last 3 days I have added a goalie who is starting on a given night to start in place of one who is not. It shows the move as going through, then I go to insert the goalie into my lineup and he is nowhere to be found. In addition, the goalie I just dropped is still in my lineup. I’ve wasted 3 of my 7 matchup acquisitions dropping and re-acquiring a goalie, and I get the same problem each time. I’m not sure if this is just an app problem because the issue occurs while using the website from my phone, but it’s very inconvenient.

- improvements for. fb

I think the site is a pain in the neck new site. It doesn’t flow as nice as the old side of me the same information as quickly and Temple mobile version I can find out the rankings of the players in various positions I do you spell get a whole list at second base has a Skype or phone number 609 another 27 whatever that’s it. also we been requested a couple of years now that would be a midweek allowance to change your lineup. I’m sure there are many other teams that win plus the same thing

- KEEP ALERTS OFF

I've been using this app for years, and for years it kept me happy. But now? Now it's a heaping pile of garbage. Every single day I get a BS news update or a notification about Matthew Berry's common sense, lowest common denominator "advice." Did you know if a running back gets hurt that their backup will be getting the ball more? Because Matthew Berry INSISTS on telling you as if it's not the LITERAL point of a backup. Every day I get this BS, and every day I go into settings and shut off all alerts. But no matter how many times I've shut off ALL alerts (21 times as of this afternoon), the very next day I'll get "Matthew Berry's Love/Hate!" popping up on my home screen. Then I open the app and it has magically reset my alert settings. This is enough. Stop changing my settings. I get better fantasy advice from the gambling addict at work. I dont need you forcing this stuff onto my phone. I'm deleting this app until I hear it's fixed. And one last thing: I once got an injury notification 25 HOURS AFTER FOX FIRST REPORTED IT. Thats more than a full day for something big. If you're going to pedal your disgusting excuse for "expert advice" on me, at LEAST give me news WHEN ITS RELEVANT.

- constantly crashing, slow and buggy! please fix this!

Every single time I open the app, there is a long period of “spinning” and “loading the data”. If it does open up, I start to look at my roster and then some players and again it either freezes up or crashes or brings up a player with no data on the screen or spins and spins. Completely unacceptable. Its barely usable. And before you ask...I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, quit the app (which doesnt fix it at all) and restarted my phone. I have an iphone 8. This should be much more stable. Please fix this!!! If I coukd give no stars I would! This is also my first review ever of an app. I’m disappointed enough that I decided to speak up in the hopes that someone will fix this horrible unstable app.

- Why is it so hard to get a team logo?

Used to, if you wanted to use a picture from Google or wherever as your team logo, it wouldn't even upload the image into a preview if it wasn't compatible. Now it loads the image as a preview and then tells you that it's not compatible but also doesn't tell you what comprises a compatible image. It'd be a lot easier if there was a local import feature so I could just use a picture from my phone or computer so I don't have to try out 50 pictures from Google hoping that I find the one out of 500 with the right parameters for the app to use.

- You'd think a company as big as ESPN could get it right

I play in a Yahoo fantasy football league and an ESPN fantasy football league and the Yahoo user interface is way better!! It is so much easier to find all the stats are looking for on Yahoo. Projected points, rushing attempts, receiving yards, etc. Even worse than the ESPN Fantasy football app, is the ESPN fantasy football website. I dare you, as a new user, to go to their website and find out how many points your player has for the week. Why would they make this so hard to do?? If you want to see your match up for the week, there is a little tiny button that says box score, this is the only way to see your match up. Com'on man!

- Great, But Here’s Something To Add

I love the app. I like how it’s simple to use and you can get all the information while it’s current. But the drawback is that the news you get on your players won’t show up on your alerts on your phone. So say that a player won’t play on a certain day, you won’t get a notification saying that the player won’t be playing and you should change your roster. It would be nice for an update like this to be added. I have the notifications on and the alerts, but I won’t get any player information as a notification which is frustrating. Please fix.

- Can’t manage league if your comish

I keep trying to manage my league as the commissioner on my phone through the website but it just sends me to the app. You can’t add owners, or do anything except set a draft time and send a messages to have people join. Sending the messages to have new people join your league would be convenient if you could actually add the owner spots through the app, which you can’t, and it won’t let you manage your league from your phone on the actual website. It’s a major flaw

- Commissioner and player

As someone who has been the commissioner of fantasy leagues both through ESPN and other providers, I used to prefer ESPN because it provided so many more options when managing both a team and league. However of the last few year the app has become progressively worse. It is ok by far my least favorite provider to use both as a commissioner and general member. Compared to the ease of use other apps provide ESPN feels clunky and difficult to navigate. Along with this the last few updates has slowed it down tremendously and have caused the app to crash multiple times. If at all possible do not commission a league through ESPN, it is not worth the headache.

- Good app but I want to be able to look at next weeks match ups on my lineup as a whole

The information is way better than Yahoo. Those guys don’t know what they’re talking about. At least they aren’t just using the projections and adding a few words they are giving some context and whether or not they will outperform or underperform those predictions. But for crying out loud let me look at what my team looks like in the last week of the season without having to get out a pen and pad. Otherwise great app! Just for crying out loud let me look ahead to the future :) Sorry for any talk text typos

- Good app - has been unreliable and mocks are awful

I’ve used this app for years now and have continued to come back. It’s a solid fantasy app. I need to call out two things that have been driving me insane though: 1.) Mock draft lobbies are ridiculous. Too many 8, 16, and 20 person drafts and WAY too many auction drafts. I routinely need to battle my way into a 12-person PPR snake draft as they appear to be more rare than witnessing a Hawaiian crow land on a white peacock. 2.) The app has been unstable in past years, including last year. Specifically, the app would not update certain players or teams stats in real time and would even end up with flat-out errors when attempting to open it during the 1 PM ET time slot. I assume it’s a traffic issue, but hopefully this will be improved as years progress. Fix the mock drafts! Give us more REALISTIC draft rooms to use rather than the crap mentioned above. Thanks!

- No targets for football

There are plenty of issues with this app around crashing, being unable to load, and poor UX/navigation, but to me the biggest issue is its incomplete stats. Fantasy football is a game if stats. One of the most important stats to follow in fantasy football is targets, yet there’s no way to view targets in this app. You can view it in the normal espn app, but not the one where more people care about it. They do show blocks and interceptions even though I would bet most leagues don’t even use defensive players! Who designed this? You also can’t see sacks for defenses, which is also one of the more important stats. I literally have to jump between the regular espn app or sports-reference and this app when making decisions. It’s so stupid.

- Slow and Freezes

Out of the three fantasy sports apps I use, ESPN is by far the worst. It is slow when opening and sometimes just freezes on a white screen. Even the app will say ‘Seems to be taking longer than usual to load’ but that, ironically, is the usual. Even once it does load, the home screen is my matchup for that week and if I want to look at anything in my league I have to go through that first which is an annoying extra step. There are many other inconvenient processes that seem like there are much easier ways to get what your looking for, such as draft results, etc. All in all, just not a the most user-friendly fantasy sports app out there.

- New and different

I’m not a big fan of the difference between the desktop version and the app. the fantasy app lacks a few features, such as opp rank pop ups. I do not like having to close out of player info with a tiny X in order to leave a player page. it was better in the classic version. I was also not a fan of the segment between the desktop/mobile site and the app. it caused issues with drafting, and i could not look at overall categories during the draft, like the number of my future draft selection, or player injuries.

- Bring Edit Draft Order to the App!

As a League Manager I can't access the "edit draft order feature" on the website because the "drag and drop feature" won't work on my phone. The old way used to work just fine where you could type the order in. If this feature was in the app I'm sure it would work on my phone but it's not. Every year as a League Manager I constantly have to update my league from the website but if every LM feature was accessible from the app it would save me a lot of time and hassle. Please look into this quickly so I can set my draft order before the regular season starts. Thanks! And also please look into bringing more LM features to the app!

- So much potential

I really like most of this app. The interface is pretty great, and it’s easy to navigate. I would definitely change my rating to a 5-star if these couple things were adjusted: 1. Alerts/Notifications section doesn’t work. I’ve checked off all boxes, but never get any notifications. I’ve tried restarting my phone and the app. I’ve tried deleting and downloading the app again. This would be an extremely useful feature! 2. Help/info section. There’s a lot of acronyms, and I have no idea what they mean. Good thing there’s google. It would be nice if there was a tab that had definitions for all acronyms at a quick glance. 3. Player number. Maybe I’m not a big enough nfl fan, but I don’t know what every players number is when I’m watching a game. This app doesn’t show what a players jersey number is. Honestly, not a big deal, but I would like it. Yahoo has it...just saying... Keep up the good work. This app is really fantastic overall!

- I wish I could give 0 stars...ads are cancer

All I want to do is check my lineup, and check the waiver wire in the morning. Typically this is an easy process but all of a sudden like a week ago I started getting a daily ad that would play as soon as I clicked on my lineup. Now, while this might seem a little critical to be giving something the worst rating because I don’t like ads, it’s not necessarily that my phone has to play an ad that gets under my skin. The ad pops up with absolutely no warning, starts playing immediately, and blasts at full volume. I’m so shaken by this every time that I just close the app without seeing if there’s a way to turn down the volume so it’s not so obnoxious. I’ll never use this again after this season, just ridiculous.

- Ads now when viewing match up

A video ad just popped up when trying to view my match up. Just after blaring out sound because my phone was on loud. Very intrusive and annoying. I hate there’s not a quick way to change you line up. You have to do each person individually. I could go on and on but overall I don’t feel like it’s as intuitive as it should be for the world wide leader in sports. You can’t tell if a player on your watchlist has been added without clicking on them. You can’t see all the stats of your player when clicking on them. Forgot to ad the app crashes a lot when changing from player screen to match up. Probably can’t handle the ad loading

- The location and size of "drop" button

Once you open your players profile be careful not to hit the huge large drop player button that runs across the screen right under his picture. I almost dropped TY Hilton and decided it's safer to just use the computer. I rather be limited to CPU for fantasy than drop a player by accident before the playoffs. Why would the red "drop" button need to be that large? Why is it positioned in between the player news and profile? Please update and I will re-download. I would not recommend having the app up around your kids unless you want to see your stars hit the waives lol.

- Disappointed

Current app performance is a significant departure from what I have come to expect from ESPN. It constantly crashes and freezes, and when not crashing or freezing, regularly (read: multiple times per day) fails to sync live updates, displaying inaccurate and/or outdated information. I have had the app through all of its previous iterations, having been a part of a long running fantasy baseball league which has utilized ESPN Fantasy for over 8 years... Not only is this by far the poorest user experience to date, it has been so inexplicably and unacceptably poor that we have decided to take our league elsewhere after this season. I can’t imagine we are the only ones, and would encourage others to do the same.

- Update player pics

This is honestly the smallest critique, but the app always alternates between the old and new pictures (at least for NBA) of players from last year to this year when I pull up a player’s profile. If the pics can be a permanent change, that would help my ocd self ✌🏻 Update: Another thing, on the waiver wire (again for NBA) when you pull up the “today’s stats” filter, it will display stats from players that weren’t playing that day and the stat lines are from weeks if not months prior.

- Constant bugs, slow and down for maintenance regularly

About every third time I go to open this app, I get a loading screen with a wheel turning. It typically will go until I close and restart the app. Even after restarting, I’ll get a loading screen for about 20-30 seconds. I would blame it on my phone, but it’s the only app that is routinely slow. The fantasy football scoring has mistakes often and there are nights when I need to get in and make changes but the app is down for maintenance. I haven’t experienced any of these issues with the Yahoo! or Sleeper apps. I would suggest using one of those if you’re starting a new league or switch if you’re already in an espn league and you’re able to convince your league members.

- Update the players position!!!

Make the players position like dee Gordon who never plays second base anymore and plays only outfield a outfielder!!! This is so frustrating because I drafted him thinking he’d be a outfielder not a second basemen then another guy is Zack cozart he doesn’t even play shortstop because andrelton Simmons this is getting on my nerve if u could update the players position I would for sure give u 5/5 strars but until u can do this it’s a 4 for crying out loud just update it please!!!! Overall though it’s much better than any other Fantasy and it’s 100 Times better than yahoo!!!

- Terrible App - Slow and Clunky Performance 🤬🤬🤬

ESPN used to be the leader in Fantasy App Performance.. This year marks yet another where Yahoo has taken claim to the best fantasy provider. ESPN is PAINFULLY slow and clunky. On average it takes me around 15 seconds just to pull my team up. Want to see your current matchup? Add and additional 5-10 seconds, and that’s if it ever even opens at all! Navigating to and from area is simply too slow. Set up is awful these day. The app is very sloppy and thrown together. They’ve added some cool features but it doesn’t make up for the lack in basic functionality. When I pull up Free Agents I want to easily be able to see their ownerships %, points scored etc. This app has major flaws and needs an overhaul. (LOL to a 4.7 ⭐️ rating ..LIES)

- Football functions fine, but not hockey

The hockey side to this app has been buggy from the start. The app doesn’t want to update scores and will show two different scores on two different screens. At one point last night, every team’s score was doubled on the scoreboard. It’s almost as if everything but football (ok, maybe just hockey) is an afterthought. Have to kill and restart for scores to refresh. Functionally, works about as well as an Excel spreadsheet at this point. Gives message that hockey is unavailable far too often. Hoping these issues are addressed and soon. Three stars for football... a big zilch for hockey.

- Mostly a great app but really needs one major change

Mostly great. Easy to use, love the push notifications for baseball when one a player in my lineup is not starting. However, one flaw HAS to be fixed. When clicking on a player to get his profile, the “drop” button is gigantic and red and right in the middle of the screen. People rarely just drop players. I’ve had multiple issues with people tapping that gigantic button by accident and dropping elite players. Then arguments ensue between league members. Please make that button smaller and harder to tap.

- Loading your matchup...........

ESPN what the heck! I’ve used espn for fantasy for around 10 years. This app AND the website are SOOO slow/glitchy this year!!!! Going to have to switch if it isn’t fixed. Listen to your users!!! Look at all the recent reviews! Your a mega corporation, time to cough up the cash to get stuff fixed. The app opens with a loading message and you have to close and reopen it constantly. I have fast internet, so that isn’t the issue. If this was my first year of fantasy I would have already quit or switched from ESPN. The website is glitchy in a lot of areas too, especially when looking at players from free agency (I know this isn’t the place to review the website but figured I’d add that in there anyway)

- Poor concept, execution, and user experience

I play ESPN only because my league mates choose it. The interface on the website is OK, but the mobile app is, hands down, the worst one I have ever used. ESPN insists on making fantasy football players log in to the much larger fantasy portal, ripe with “Streak” games and other junk. My hunch is that the app’s repeated crashes is a byproduct of the app being asked to do too much. ESPN, please just create simple individual apps focused on the sport of choice for the fantasy player.

- The only fantasy app I use, but freezing is super annoying!!

Man I’d give this app 5 stars cause I love the UI, but man it freezes randomly about every other time I use. (has been for about two years straight now) I have to then kill the process and relaunch on every iOS. Sometimes it’s scrolling up and down or trying to simply hit a button. I know I’m not the only one and I’m on the iPhone 7+ it also did this on my iPhone 6S as well. I’ve actually missed out on a late Monday night/ Tuesday morning acquisition cause of this bs. So please ESPN fix this already!!!!!! Ever since they combined all the ESPN fantasy sports into one app I’ve noticed this issue. So it may even be 3 years now. Fix the freeze!!

- Enjoying the app more than the online games

Hi I am a first time Fantasy Football player. Well about 7 yrs ago I played but there were not Aps back then. I am enjoying the experience. Much more so than watching the games. I had to turn the games off at the openers, because I just cannot enjoy seeing a bunch of politics thrown in my face, during what is supposed to be my fun time. Why can’t they just do their job and politic later like the rest of us. Sad. Just play ball! So this app is great thing! Candace Callegari

- User Interface Could Be Better

This review is based on the app. I could be just a hair bias because the first fantasy platform I used was Yahoo. But honestly I just don't think ESPN even compares. The analytical capabilities on Yahoo go far more in depth than ESPN's. When viewing game log history in ESPN it's just too plain and doesn't even tell you what their past opponents ranks were vs their position. I'm pretty sure ESPN can do all the same things Yahoo can, but the main difference is that Yahoo makes that info more accessible while ESPN makes you work for it. Basically what takes two clicks in Yahoo may take 10-12 in ESPN.

- Great Basic FF App But....

ESPN has a great basic app that’s easy to maneuver through and still has plenty of options on different league setups. My friends and I have used ESPN FF for the past twelve years with a one year break to try another FF league (CBS) which we didn’t care for or I would have said we had been using ESPN for sixteen years. So, why a low rating of only three stars ? The reasons are probably crystal clear for most people whom have used this app and have trusted the persons behind the commentary. The predictions forecasted have never been correct or should I dare say “not even close” to the outcome of ones production on field. After all this time why do I still bother with listening to what they broadcast. I figure they have been wrong for such a long period of time (predictions analysis now even change during the game to reflect true scores) so I choose the opposite route of whatever BS they report to be their professional opinion. Thanks for read - Leroy Brown (Junkyard dog)

- Could be much better

Having played both ESPN and YAHOO! fantasy football I personally feel the mobile app is far better on yahoo. Part of fantasy football is all the trash talking that goes on during the season and I feel that YAHOO! just does a better job at allowing owners to do this. It allows owners the ability to trash other owners anyway they like thru messages, DMs, gifs, and memes. If not all, most players are constantly checking their fantasy on a daily basis using their smartphones. So why not make the User interface better? Improve the mobile app and communication between owners and the experience will be so much more enjoyable. Thank you.

- 18-19 has been AWFUL

I have literally informed espn fantasy hockey help line of 8 different issues or errors in the last 3 days. The app doesnt show any players fantasy scores. The website game schedule is unavailable. Games Played Limits aren’t showing. It says I’ve played 6/5 goalies in day 2 after not paying a single goalie. They have Risto as DTD yet he is getting points from the game he is currently in......... I can go on forever, it’s awful. All the managers in my league are complaining. How in the hell do the espn employees in the fantasy hockey department let these issues persist into the fantasy season. They should have kept the old platform design instead of trying to push a new one with all these errors. Just brutal. Yahoo here we come.

- ESPN Fantasy games app

This app is so easy to use for all types of fantasy and is way better than using the espn website or some other fantasy app.(if the app says “taking too long to load” then says “could not load app” or something like that just delete the app then re-download the app and sign back in then it should work. all in all this app is just very easy to access and work with and I have enjoyed my time playing fantasy games and using this great app.

- Run your league elsewhere!

I haven't had a good experience with this app ever. Due to its popularity early on most people go to ESPN for their fantasy leagues and everything year I reluctantly join certain friends leagues on this platform hoping the developers have improved the user experience. Still...no. It hardly ever opens appropriately and switching between components can often but the app in a bad state causing the user to completely exit and reenter into the app as if booting it up for the first time to get it working again. Do you think ESPN dev teams even read these interviews? I am seeing lots of frustration on it.

- Slow to Open Recently

This app has never had any issues until recently. I have played fantasy football through the ESPN fantasy app for about 5 years now. Recently the app has been taking an especially long time to open and look at my team, as well as to swap over to other teams, view other teams in my league, etc..I assumed it was a big that would be quickly fixed but is still an issue at this time. Please find a way to fix it so that myself (and most likely others) can open our apps and view our fantasy teams. It takes almost an entire 60 seconds or more to open pretty consistently for me.

- Worst App for Fantasy Football

The app has so many glitches it’s almost unusable. It takes me forever to find out information about a player I have or am looking to pick up. It even takes me way longer to edit my line up than it ever should be 99% of the time. I have tried to address my concerns by emailing whoever it is that deals with the app problems but I have not heard a single thing back. Everyone in our league has a problem with the app. We had this problem last year but decided to give this app another try this year because we have always used ESPN for our fantasy football league. My husband has played using the yahoo app before and we are switching to that next year.

- Good App

Would be 5 stars if it included more details found on the website. Like seeing how many minutes a player played in Basketball which is the most important stat for me. Just one of the minor details that stops me from rating it 5 stars I usually prefer using the website, but the new espn update for the site has been horrible. Now i use the app more because it is easier to navigate. But giving a more detailed stat line and being able to see the scoreboard after the game is over would make a big difference

- ESPN

Played fantasy football since before the internet. Decided to give espn a chance. Wanted to be in an auto draft. Forced to sign up for a live draft. Then find out that only two folks in the draft room. A few on auto draft and the rest go in and out of the draft room. They are working on their predraft list which means they won’t be active in the league. C’mon man. All you sites are lacking. When you don’t hit the draft button or you leave the draft room more than once then you have decided that you are NOT an active drafter. Gonna find out if this site has dead leagues too. All fantasy sites need to improve the programming. C’mon man

@espn your guy going on the air talking about the injuries to players, then going into a bit for Fantasy Football was insensitive as hell. Someones job and livelihood is in question. I hate how impersonal people's views of sports have become. They're not stock, they're people!

When ESPN Star Sports launched 'Super Selector' in 2001, no one could have imagined that 20 years later Fantasy Cricket will become a multi-billion dollar industry in India. SS was so popular that during 2003 World Cup, over 5 lakh played this game

@JimmyTraina Reason number 8,437 that I don’t watch or read ESPN anymore for sports news. They’ve been a “we think we are curing cancer by talking about sports and fantasy games” tabloid for a long time now.
