Can’t load. Terrible app. It needs my internet which is excellent. Been sitting here watching the spinning dial looking for connection. So I can’t get in to cast it on tv. Dont really want to sit here on iPad. Not going to sit on computer.

Not fun watching a movie on my phone. I won’t watch any of the movies on my phone for consideration to vote for SAG awards. I need a tv!!!

Disappointing Disney Debut. I’m using the app on my iPad for awards screening. It does not allow for connecting to a TV. This is incredibly frustrating as other apps I’m using for other contenders do. Therefore I’m forced to either watch all the content/contenders provided on this app on my iPad or I have to sit at my desk and watch it on my computer. Disappointing Disney Debut. Follow up: In the Help section you recommend HDCP-compliant HDMI cables. My cable offers “Support for ANY TV refresh rates (such as 120Hz/240/480/600Hz), HDCP 1.2 and 2.2 Support”

No 4K. Bad image quality.. I’m grateful to have access to some movie and tv shows not accessible elsewhere BUT the quality of the image is very bad. I tried different way to watch, from my desktop, from my phone and chromecast, or from the iPad, but it always feel like movie from airplane or something like that. It is as best 1080p but mostly it is 720p, highly compressed. I had the code link because I work in the industry but what the point if it’s that bad?

Not very convenient for watching review screeners. Casting to television from computer doesn’t work, even when it says it is casting. Trying to cast using the phone app is worse; it looks like it’s about to start and begins to bring up the episode on the TV, but then keeps crashing and saying “Media failed to load.”

If you like watching movies on your phone…. There is no option to cast to a TV. Since your competitors offer this option, you may want to as well. Not having it will loose votes for any movie offered only on this platform.

Terrible. Disney: Forcing people to watch a movie on a phone or tablet for visual effects consideration is not the way to get votes. I installed even after reading all the reviews. The app works, sort of. I was unable to access the content for over a week due to technical difficulties according to the error message I received. I finally was able to watch content after a week. All the other reviews stating it doesn’t stream are accurate. There is an option, but I have yet to get it to connect and work. A complete waste of development resources of this is the best that can be created.

Can’t do Chromecast. It says it can, but it doesn’t. Keeps idling endlessly.

Bring back physical media screeners. I Have spent 40 minutes on two different devices trying to get this app to cast to chrome cast and still nothing. If the experience of trying to get the movie to just play on a television is this infuriating how good will the viewer feel watching the actual film? The answer is NOT GOOD.

The Best of the Awful (Not A Compliment). This might be the best of the FYC apps, and it’s still terrible. Never thought I’d miss the days of 1,000 DVD screeners showing up in the mail. But that was before I got to manage 20 unique codes that expire every 12hrs - for a pile of apps that each fall on a spectrum of garbage to hot garbage. Everyone needs to either aggregate content on the Academy portal, or grant limited access to the main streaming sites (in this case, Disney+). You spent a ton of time and money designing those UI’s and we only have to enter one password. It works. These FYC apps all look and function like afterthoughts designed by an after school coding class.

No casting from phone/tablet. Wow! Way to take back to 2008 with this app that doesn’t have the capability to cast to a tv screen. Take a cue from the other studios and look into how they developed their fully functional apps.
