Fantastic!. This is just what you need when completing shops. The only one I use. Take photos, secret videos, write notes, mark times...excellent app!

Great Potential but Unreliable!. This app has a ton of great features but if it runs in the background too long it crashes! I just lost a $40 shop because the app crashed and I lost my exact timings! I hope they can fix this. I’m stuck until they can figure it out.

Great Tool. I use this app with nearly all my shops. It makes taking notes and getting accurate times easy and well as discreet. I highly recommend this app for all mystery shoppers.

Amazing for restaurant mystery shops. If you are required to note exact times that staff comes by during restaurant shops, this is the perfect tool. Well designed, clearly tested with people who use it for mystery shops. Essential!

Awesome app for mystery shopping!. I love using this app when I do my mystery shops, instead of having to use three different ways to record information, everything is all in one place! Good stealth. It Took a few shops for getting used to record mode being blue for on and gray for off with video being the opposite! It would be helpful to have a simple portrait oriented video walkthrough on 1st launch of how to juggle the key features. Some of us shoppers read enough instructions as it is and a change would be nice, lol. I had an instance where audio, video and pictures were screwing with each other AND I didn’t know what the heck was happening. I read the manual but it still took some practice to know what stealthy stuff happens and what doesn’t and what conflicts with the other. I’m looking forward to innovative features. I have ideas like, •It Would be cool to see partnership with audio transcription to text. •if there were ability to make all data (includes the audio and photos) of each “shop chat” a folder that’s accessible in iTunes file sharing that we can just drag out onto our desktop. •make photo export more organized. I hate that when I save photos they go in my camera roll with everything else. Is the easy workaround either to make these .jpg files have custom names relating to YY_MM_DD_ShopTitle when we access our smartphone data on 💻 ? •we can export individual photo copies in your app to any other but individually. It would be a good option to provide “export all shop data” and its a single folder for easy archiving. •Sync partnership with GeoVerify. •Access partnership to JobSlinger Calendar, and ... and...

Best secret shopping app ever!. Great app with very nice support with whom I've been in contact with. I am amending my review regarding ios 8. There is a workaround on the default keyboard by sliding the predictive text bar down. Swift key keyboard won't work as yet but I'm sure the next version will work out the changes caused by ios 8. I can't do shops without this app and love it!

Must-have app. This is an awesome way to measure time to the second and I use this app for every shop. I am a scheduler and recommend that my shoppers get this app as well. The audio recorder is an issue for me. It does not always work, even when my phone is in airplane mode. I wish the bright red "recording" banner did not show up as sometimes I need to show the employee my phone.

Best Mystery Shopper Notes & Timestamp App Available in iOS. As my Shop It app was not working Thursday night (I hadn't yet installed update to 6.2) when I had a shop to complete, I used the GeoVerify app to do my timings. It only confirmed for me how much more convenient the Shop It app is. For one thing, GeoVerify doesn't include the seconds on time stamps - just has hours/minutes. Also, you can't put all time stamps on one event - each timestamp is a separate event, so when you go to email the timestamps to yourself, you have to do each one separately - crazy! I don't know what I would do without Shop It!

A Mystery Shopper Must Have. This app is a perfect tool to help a mystery shopper. It allows you to name the shop you're on, document the time, tap it to indicate instances that occur while you're on a shop, take photos, and record audio while "shopping". And it looks like you are just innocently texting as everyone is always doing. The customer support is super, which is a big plus! Hint: After ISO7 update, make sure your privacy setting allows for the microphone to work with this app. This is the best app out there for Mystery Shopping! Don't hesitate to buy it.

You're crazy if you don't check this app out. This is a "MUST HAVE" app for the devoted mystery shopper. It literally does everything but type the narrative for you! This tool is going to same me so much time and effort! Well worth the $2.99.

A Hidden Gem. I found out about this app from an online mystery shopping forum board and I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. So far I have used it twice on dinner shops. I honestly don't think I could've done it w/o this app. It really is discreet. Get this! You will not regret it. :)

Unbelievably helpful. I have been a mystery shopper for nearly 30 years. I wish I had found this app way back when I started. Do you know the challenge of trying to discreetly time or keep track of notes? This app does it all. With an interface looks like text messaging you can record start and stop times, even discreetly take pictures to verify descriptions later and verbally record notes which then are so much easier to “recall“ when it’s time to file those reports.

Great App!. I found out about this app from a group forum. I purchased it right before the latest update and used it twice. One time I needed to make an edit and couldn't. NOW I can with the new update. Love this App! Just wish the voice recording, recorded non stop.

Shop-It. Great app for mystery shoppers. It has many useful features such as the touchscreen time-stamp, a hidden camera, and a panic mode that switches the screen to WWF. Drawbacks include not having the inherent ability to change or correct Shop notes, and also, if you take a lot of notes as I do, you might look like a suspiciously overactive tester. A microphone alleviates this problem a little, but I have to stop talking when I'm around an employee. This is the exact time that I want to be able to take precise, detailed notes. Also, in the current version, there is no way to inherently change or correct your notes. There is a workaround, but this needs to be fixed.

Great Mystery Shopper Tool!. I love this app! I have been using it for my mystery shopping jobs for everything from recording times to actually recording the conversation with the target CSR. Even with my phone in my purse, the audio was clear enough for me to use accurately complete my report - and the exact time shows right there as you play it back. With multiple assignments in a single day, and since I can't take notes at the time of the job, this has made my job so much easier! This app easily is one of the best tools for a mystery shopper!

Fantastic. This app works flawlessly. Much better than the way we did it before. The only thing I would like it to change time format from military to standard.

Game Changer!. I purchased the complete app and what a game changer for shopping! I love how easy it is to mark time, add notes, record snippets of shops, and take photos undercover. The best part, when I report, it is all on one page and I can easily upload the notes to my laptop. My reporting time has increased and so has the shops I perform! Shoppers, this is a must buy if you want to make life easy!

Must have app. This app is amazingly useful when mystery shopping. It allows to the second timing that I haven't found anywhere else. I know I don't use all the features but just for the timing ability alone, it's the best I've found. Developer is very responsive and clearly wants to do everything possible to meet the needs and requests of users.

Secret Shoppers NEED this app.. This app is the perfect companion for a secret shopper. It has so many features useful for a secret shopper already and the Dev is wonderful and is alway improving based on suggestions form his users. This app is a MUST HAVE.

Fantastic!. I was looking for an app to supplement my shopping experiences. I was shocked to find there just isn't a lot out there... Until I was recommended by a fellow shopper to download this app. It is still new, but offers much that a shopper needs to be successful. I love the ability to send my reports to my e-mail. I had a slight failure with the app and wrote the customer service. They were exceedingly prompt in responding and even more so helpful! Through some sole troubleshooting, it was back up and running. The customer service alone made me exceedingly happy I purchased this app. I'm excited to watch it develop and grow with future updates. Thank you, developers, for creating an app for our community!

Indispensable app for mystery shoppers. This app has it all including fantastic customer support. When I encountered a problem listening to the playback on the recording feature, I emailed the support line. I heard back the same day with detailed suggestions on how to solve my problem. Sure enough, the first suggestion solved it. I would not do a restaurant shop without the Shop It app. Thank you!

One edition could make it perfect!. I use this app for each and every shop I do. My only complaint is that it’s not able to disable my phones auto lock feature. There have been so many times that I realize after an interaction that despite not being on low power mode, my phones auto lock stopped my “secret mode” recording. Please request to be added to the disable auto lock apps (ie gps etc) for iOS. Having to tap my phone and accidentally adding a time stamp where it’s not needed is killing my notes! I paid to upgrade so I can’t recommend this app to other shoppers without mentioning this headache of missing possible crucial moments! 2022 update- is there any word on if the app will be added to disable auto locking of your phone while using? That is the one feature that I use most. I hate that I only get the 30 seconds before the auto lock ends the recording. I made the original review 2 years ago. Had to take it to 3 stars for the headache of lost footage. That’s the best way to make notes not seem obvious during shops to get a view of who you’re interacting with.

Decent app. Best one I’ve used. Great for taking notes while doing a long Shop. Great for tracking times to the second. Repeated asks to like on Facebook kind of annoying! Should be able to say no once and for all!

Excellent mystery shopper app. It looks like the developers really talked to pro shoppers to get their opinions on what they need. This app is everything I need to do a perfect shop. Low price for the app too. Easy decision to buy it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This app is so awful! First of all, why in the world does anyone need a giant blinking red banner at the top of your phone showing that you are using it? That’s hardly stealthy if someone texts and wakes up your phone. Then the try before you buy version lets you go forward or back on your audio recording in 15 second increments, but the app I wasted $17 on makes you try and drag a stupid slider bar to find something. Then there’s the issue where you can never figure out the right time on the recording anyhow, because it doesn’t match the time you were actually there. And that’s if it does actually record, because randomly you’ll hit record, get the annoying flashing red header, then go to listen to it while you’re writing your report and there’s nothing there. Why isn’t there a good mystery shopping app out there??

Mystery shopper/diner must-have. This app is a blessing! It makes my job so much easier. I take better notes and am much more discreet. My only complaint it that it is sometimes hard to save a photo after taking it. I have to press the "done" button just right. Maybe make the timer small on top of the screen too. Otherwise it is perfect. Thank you!

Awesome for mystery shopping.. Worth the price. You can run it in the background which is marvelous!! All your notes are time stamped and it just looks like you're texting yourself when you use it. I've never used anything else to mystery shop, but why would you? This app has it all. Voice recording too. Highly recommended and I DO recommend it to other mystery shoppers I talk to online. A plus app.

Recording Feature Not Reliable. I purchased this app mostly for the nice recording feature. I tested it at home (while using airplane mode as suggested) before a shop and it worked fine. Because of that I relied on it heavily during my shop where I made about 10 recordings - one that I even checked in store to be sure I got all of the relevant information. However when I got home, NONE of the recordings worked. Not even the one I tested at home. I am extremely disappointed and wish I could get a refund. The time stamp feature is nice so if that's all you want to use then you'll be fine. Just do not depend on the recording!

Very helpful. This app is very helpful for mystery shopping and auditing. I especially like the stealth camera feature and that the audio recordings are time-stamped to the second when replaying. I used to record with other apps and have to do the math to figure out what time an event happened by calculating time from the start or end time of the recording. The one-tap time stamp is very useful as well but I do tend to forget to record timings, so I always use audio as a backup. I have been using this app for several months and have only once lost a recording, but I believe I accidentally clicked something that caused that to happen. Audio recording continues even with phone on lock mode.

Couldn’t do my shopper job without it!. I’ve been a shopper a few years. The dining shops that require specific times of service were nearly impossible to get right. Then, I found this app. It’s great! A simple tap under the table, out of view, is all it takes to get exact service timings for reports. Great app! Worth every penny.

Everything you need all in one!. I love this app and it's well worth whatever it costs! Before I got this app I would need to jump between the standard Apple apps (notepad with reminders on what I needed to observe, voice recorder, camera, and texting myself notes). This has all those features in one easy to use app and it's a great way to keep all your MS observation info together. It really helps using a screen that looks like texting to be less conspicuous.

Ultimate Time Saver!. This app is just what I needed! I was having to carry around my voice recorder, stop watch, camera and cell phone to text notes to myself. Now everything is at my fingertips! My audio recorder only showed elapsed time so I would have to waste valuable reporting time just calculating elapsed time to real time. I honestly don't know how I have survived without this app!

Overall a great app for mystery shopping. Overall a great app but a few minor annoyances If I email myself the event I want all videos and pictures and recordings attached too. I shouldn't have to manually email each to myself. Perhaps each event could also be its own folder in the iCloud Drive and everything stored there so I can see it from my Mac without having to email Also the hidden camera and send button could there be an option to swap them around. Too many times do I hit the return key while taking notes and I get the hidden camera warning instead of a new line. It should act like a normal texting action Also why can't the secret cam be enabled at the same time as the regular cam, they are two different action buttons anyways?

Highly recommended for Mystery Shoppers!. Great app, makes my life so much easier. I cannot imagine doing long shops without this app! This makes my life easier and highly recommended! The recent updates that the developers have put in it are great!

Tremendously helpful!. I am so happy I found this app. It helps me to accurately recall time and what was said, which is important to insure that I am not missing anything that could be affecting someone’s review. I highly recommend this app for any mystery shopper.

Very useful. I recently downloaded this app and I have used it for about five shops. It certainly makes my reviews a lot easier to manage. I take a lot of photos and I have a hard time saving the photos on the screen. I have to really rub that button that says save to report which I think is a problem with the app. I wish that there was a way to just automatically save the photo without having to make that selection. Also I would like to be able to customize the mark time feature so that I can customize the time stamps for certain events that take regularly take place for different types of shops. But I find the app really useful and no longer use my text for taking notes during the shop.

Secret shopper. At first I had trouble figuring out this app but I asked for help and I was amazed that someone responded immediately. Once I understood how it worked, it became very easy to use. I use it on every shop, especially the timing aspect and the voice recording.

Useful. I really like having this app to save my notes for my shops. The best apps are provided through the Mystery Shopping companies. Not all shops are available on the apps yet. So you will need a cheat sheet.

Couldn’t live without this program. This app makes my job easier then I ever thought it could be. This is the only program I use for my mystery shopping excursions. This app is my single tool for smoothly executing successful shops time after time. Best Mystery Shopping App. This is my "go to" for mystery shopping. I love that I can just tap the screen and mark the time. I also use it to record shops, but I always make sure to out my phone in airplane mode first. When I haven't done this, my shop was interrupted and I lost recordings. The customer service for this app is A+++. This is the first app that I had an issue with and the developer contacted me personally and problem solved it! How many people can say that? This app is awesome and well worth the small sum it costs.

Recording doesn't always allow me to replay.. I have had 2 shops now, that when I've gotten home, show a recording but nothing will play.

Awesome app!. I can get accurate timing and photos easily and not be obvious. This makes secret shopping so much easier!

Not useful. First if you have to get out of the app the app shuts down and closes your note. At that point you have to start a new note. Time marking is too sensitive and you get unneeded time marks. Finally you have to pay an additional fee to get the ability to edit.

So disappointed. I don't know why but my recordings are empty. I lost a $75.00 job because the recordings are empty. So upsetting.

Make audio recordings right within the app You can also tap the screen for a time stamp. If you're worried about the price, use it as a business expense at the end of the year!
