Informative. Convenient app for market info

Great for travel. All data in this app is available free on the net BUT, it's all in one place here and brilliantly displayed (as with all MissingSTEP apps). I bought this for when I'm trading on the road but after checking it out, I use it at home as well. Nice layout and organization, WELL WORTH 99¢. If they'd lower the ridiculous $99.99 price of the Commodity Trader App, I'd buy that too! I do have many of their other apps, they're all very good! Thanks MissingSTEP for this well priced futures app!!!!

MissingSteps Apps Not Working. None of my MissingStep apps are working, including Commodities Pro, Stock Trader, Stock Tracker, Daily Stocks, and Trading Ideas. I used Commodities Pro near daily, but it stopped working last week. What’s up?

Keeping Abreast. From time to time, gold stocks are a bargain so this helps find opportunities.

Stopped Working, no way to contact developer. As of today 04/18/2019 the app won’t load. It just keeps closing. There is no way to contact the developer

Customer needing help. I purchased this app on 2/21/2020 it comes up on my home page but will not let me open it no matter what I do I have contacted support but they have not respond and I still cannot get into the app and I don’t know what else to do

Love this app. I trade a few copper miners and use this app to watch copper prices as it pertains to my stocks.

Garbage. This product is garbage and a complete waste of time. First off it is delayed 20 minutes at best. For 50.00 it should be live. Second IT DOES NOT WORK accurately. There are many free apps that work much better. This one is just completely wrong on quotes. I asked for a refund since it was so expensive and they were no help at all.

Inaccurate. crashes on startup with an "oops" message. Started to do this 36 hrs ago. For the high price it should be reliable. Totally unusable until problem fixed

Great program for the money.. I focus on precious metals and have found this APP to be a real value. Allows me to find trends quickly to determine when I should be buying or selling.

Problems. Nice app but 5 day chart display continues to show once per day data rather than once every 15 minutes as claimed.

Stopped Working but back online. Lost it for a few days, but they got it back up now. Works great, like before. Now the app crude oil price no longer reflects the WTI or the BRENT index. Only reason I use the app, had to switch to a different one.

Go to commodity app dies. Until just a few days ago (this writing is 2/21/22) this app was functioning as expected. Now it is “Oops something went wrong. Try again or check App Store for an update.” No update and the developer website is dead. It appears this app is done. Too bad, it was a great app that I e used for years.

Cannot find where to change the futures contract month I want to track.. To be useful to me I need to get quotes on specific months. Particularly December Corn. I guess this is an ok app for general information, but not really good for specifics.

Excellent & Precise. Every once in awhile, a great, functional and targeted app appears. This is one of them. It provides everything I need. No fluff, no extra unwanted stuff, just the info I need at a moment's request. That's what is needed by being an app. Timely info on critical subjects. This one is a keeper, regardless of cost.

STOPPED WORKING. After two months, this app stopped working. The cutesy message “Oops! Something went wrong” suggests checking for updates, but there aren’t any. DON’T BUY. $50 Wasted.

Doesn’t work anymore. This app doesn’t seem to work anymore?

?????. Wow, I must be missing something. Don't understand the glowing reviews of the earlier versions. To me this app is next to useless. Fixed screen of 15 items. No way to change anything. No indication of the date or time of the prices shown.

What happened?. This app stopped working and there is not an update. All I get is “Oops! Something went wrong, try again later. If the problem persists, check the app store for an update.” Previous one star review but updated now that the app is working again and I received a response from the developer.

Mike. My commodities app quit working this week and I don’t know how to get ahold of anyone to try and fix it. No updates available

It is expensive and they still give you pop up adds. Every time I open the app I get an add about one of their other products. There doesn’t appear to be any way to turn them off. I’ve quit using it.

Ads in premium app? Email needed. I already have an excellent stocks app, but bought this because of the display for commodities. It appears to be the best looking commodities app on iOS. Easy to open and quickly see quotes, and easy on the eyes. When I open the program expecting to see the attractive interface for a quick glance of commodities, but instead I’m greeted by an unsolicited notification in the middle of my screen asking me if I want to open a website for the opportunity to “learn about” whatever, I get frustrated. There is no option to turn it off. It’s an ad This is/was a premium app, why do I have ads. You also have to create an account to use the app. No Apple sign in available. Seeing this was a premium app, I created an account with a email I use for certain low spam risk sign ups. The date I’m writing this I got spam from a unknown sender, and another “ad”. My first time getting one at that address. I’ve had enough. I don’t believe this app is worth it on discount, definitely not regular price. I tried, because it looks good on the surface, but ultimately I can’t with the shady business. The charts aren’t fully interactive either, in a $40 commodities app. Don’t expect the news tab to find any news the majority of the time either. Refund request

Mostly informative. At times confusing.. I thought that the breadth of data made available to its users is fantastic. However, there is a middle column of action recommendations (buy, hold, sell/short) with a date stamp. And it took me a while to figure out whether that time stamp was referring to when the price action was last updated or when the updated recommendation was made. In fact, sometimes it remains unclear for various reasons. But for the investor looking to monitor the general global markets as part of a greater asset allocation strategy, this app is truly revolutionary, albeit underwhelmingly so. There could be more asset-specific details and insights, but I am satisfied. At least for now.

Commodities. I bought Commodity app about a month ago and it just stopped working. What a wasted $50!! I can now buy a bundle for $99. No thank you. Missing step - good name for unethical company.

Charts are not adjust for daily setups otherwise most time works.. It is ok app. Problems are sometimes with displaying right daily charts.

Plotting Errors - Large Error, Dev wont fix. When you change time scales, plotted values are different. Mid-scale values shift up. For Natural Gas, I complained to the developer, but they denied the problem, defending the data. On Aug, 2019, there was a dip to near 2.0, as shown on 2-year scale, but 6-month scale showed a high value near 2.5. I’ve seen similar scaling errors exhibited on other missing link apps with stock histories. not sure why dev ignores me after repeated feedback.

Does not work in iOS 15…. Enjoyed this app, it used to work well. iOS 15 update made it stop working. Developer needs to update this app to work with iOS 15. So only one star for this review

Basic info. Please add historical charting and analysis capability. This software is very basic. Please add Historical charting, analysis, alerting, sorting and watch list capability. When I see those, I will change my rating.

Not working. I paid crazy money for this and it’s not working!!

Stock Signals. This review is in reference to Stock Signals, same developer.. Warning! This crooked company made he previous version obsolete, so you are forced to buy or upgrade to the new version. BEWARE!! For a better app, try Smart Portfolio by Tip Ranks.. I will never waste about $99 to buy this shady company.

Not what it seems. Don't waste your money on this app. It only gives the price of commodities which are shown on free to air news. Not prices on anything other than what is on the screen shot. Iron ore prices would be nice.
