Love it. This is a great app. I use it for my 5 year old who is just now starting to understand the concept of waiting and patience. And when his impatience gets the best of him, we read the story together. He seems to enjoy it. Thanks a lot!

Great app. This app would be a great app to show to a young impatient child. I showed my 3 year old niece and she loved the story that came with it as well as the praise at the end of waiting!

I am glad I found this app. The app will teach my little niece how to be patient. It clearly explains why it's so important. The problem with the kids is that they learn and forget in order to do things that are fun. This app will be good reminder to stay patient all the time.

Great For Teachers. I found this app by accident but I would definently reccomend this app for parents and teachers. It makes being patient interesting. I agree with Michael Martinez, I would probably update the app to add praise towards the end.

Very disappointed. I naively assumed that the waiting part would happen between pages of the story, thinking that would be an incentive to wait patiently. Instead, you just tap the screen to proceed through the book and the only time the child waits is when they intentionally tap the button to start the timer. That's extremely easy to avoid and offers no reward for waiting (and in the real world, that's not how it works). I'm not sure how my son is supposed to learn to wait patiently using this app if all it amounts to is a timer, which I have on my phone, and a social story that I could have made up without much effort. I'm very disappointed in this app.

Junk. Doesn't work. Can read story and adjust settings, but nothing happens when you push start button on timer. Don't waste your money.

Do not buy. I specifically purchased this app because it said it would continue to run in the background. This is not the case, it resets. Waste of time and money. Do not buy.

Best Visual Timer. Have tried other visual timers and they all have issues, this one is great and I love having it on my phone so I can take it with me all over the school. I use it daily on the playground and in the computer lab.

Great Idea!. Really excited to see this app (and a series of other great apps) from Touch Autism. The wait timer is well done and the story included is very cute. For those not used to dealing with autistic children, this probably seems kind of silly, but this goes to a challenge that parents have to deal with on a daily basis. Highly recommend giving it a try if your kids are affected by this issue.

Wish I had read the reviews.. This app doesn't run in the background, and it's really just a simple story that never changes and a simple timer. I usually use the stopwatch or an alarm on my phone, but thought this would be more interesting. It's not.

Horrible. Not worth the $3.00. Can’t pause the timer either. When you try to change the amount of time it freezes every time and have to completely close out of the app and clear it from your home screen.

This works GREAT!!. This app has significantly helped my son(who has ADHD) learn patience. I tried quite a bit to teach him, but nothing seemed to work. Since downloading this app I have found him sticking with things for longer than before. I definitely suggest getting this app for any child having trouble learning to wait.

For my brother. I downloaded this app to help with developing my little brothers patience. He spends a lot of time on electronic devices so I figured he might as well use it to develop his own traits. I thought I would have to force him into it, but he seems to genuinely enjoy it. It is definitely worth the download for children to develop patience while having fun.

Great learning app for children. This is a great app for children who are learning about waiting. My son enjoyed the story that went along with the waiting theme, And I think it helped him to understand it better. He is 2 1/2 years old.

Great Wait App. Great App to teach children who need to learn the concept of waiting. Great story to go with app. The only thing I would suggest would be that when time is up there needs to be more praise such as applause or other such type so children are happy to reach the time. Children in the class would love the praise.

A great tool for the kids.. I download a lot of apps for my kids and came across this and thought what difference it can make but this app has proved me wrong and got a nice change in my kid. Kids are not patient like we adults are but this app will make them patient in a better way. A big thanks for Touch Autism team for giving such a nice app to us.

A motivational app for kids. I have had difficulty trying to control my 6 year old kid. After I got this app, whenever they did something wrong they would have to wait for this timer until it finished. The storyline behind it is motivational that the kids will feel comfortable in using the app. Good job to the developers.

I just wish it would also have an optional timer sound. Looks very simple but good - I will try it out on my very impatient son today … my only wish is that this app would be updated to add a timer sound(s) … otherwise I can see my son staring at the timer waiting for the time to be up rather rather focusing on the task at hand.

Timer and Story. This is a simple timer to use - it would be nice if there was a way to see what the timer is set for without going into settings (small number in one corner with the digital time). I like that I can have the story read to me.
