One star because it doesn't work. I installed this app and it doesn't open. It appears as if it's going to then it closes. I've never been able to use it or even view it. It's too bad because I was really looking forward to it.

Awsome. I work in an intensive classroom and we just recently got an iPad. I thought finding apps for autism would be easy but it turns out its a little difficult finding good ones. That was until I purchased this app. You can narrow the search down to price, rating, and device. Which is great because my school only lets us download free apps. I have just found three apps that I love for my students and my child. Thanks for creating this apps. I LOVE IT!!!!!

AWESOME!!!!!. We love this app! It comes in very handy! We can find apps easy to go along with what our daughter is learning in school! I would recommend this to any and all parents! hopefully the next update could separate the free apps and the pay for apps! Autism mama!

Best Resource for Autism Apps!!. The categories are excellent, It is very easy to see exactly what is available in the app store to benefit our kids. The videos are especially helpful as well!

Amazing resource!. I wish I could give this more than five stars!!! As a mother with two children on the spectrum, This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Well done, well organized; an incredibly useful resource! I will be recommending this app to every therapist, doctor, teacher, advocate, and parent involved with ASD, or any similar conditions, that I know! Plus, the developer was very prompt in response to a question, and that always earns bonus stars in my book! ;)

Has frequent "technical difficulties". This is a great collection of apps when u can actually access them. The majority of the time I get a message that they are having technical difficulties. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Will be a great resource if the problem is ever fixed.

Excellent resource. As a speech pathologist I have used this myself to find apps, and I'll recommend it for my parents searching for technology for their children. Love it!

App crashes!. I downloaded the app, to find it crashed immediately without even opening all the way. Deleted it, downloaded it again, same result. Very disappointed.

Great resource. I am an occupational therapist - I love this app, not only for my ability to find appropriate apps to use in my therapy sessions, but also as a resource for my families that I serve. The developer is also quick to respond to feedback - a big plus in my opinion!

Pretty Helpful. Good for parents and therapists. Provides descriptions and overviews of autism related apps, tells you the prices as well. Great for those who just got an iPad iPod and want to use it with individuals with autism And need help building there app repertoire.

Very Helpful. This app was great for finding useful applications on the App Store towards those with special needs.

Doesn't load. shortly after installing I tried opening several times--nothing; I removed it and re-loaded--still nothing. I then contacted support thru email and haven't received any response:( The day I wrote this was also the day I had an email from them. It now opens (need wifi), after un/reinstalling a second time.

Pretty good. Has some really good apps. I think it needs to be updated more often though.

not just for autism. This app lists so many apps by categories useful to those dealing with special needs, unlike the iTunes app store, where the categories are just too broad to find what you need. It lists some really great apps and the lists seem to be updated regularly too. A great starting place! I tell all the special needs mums I know of who are getting 'iThings' for the kids to start with this app.

Won't connect to the Internet. Just letting others know that this won't connect to the Internet for me and I can't get any information at all. I'll review this app when they get it working properly for everyone.

Where are the apps for adults with autism. Where are the apps for adults with autism? Also, fyi, autism is not a disability

Finally!. As a family who runs an aba program for my 4yo ASDson, this app would have saved me A LOT to time these past few months in searching, trawling various websites etc. All of the aba specific apps I sourced were on here and many more as well. There is also the ability to suggest apps which means that I can share a few I think are particularly good with other families/ practitioners.

Autism is not a disability? Really?. In reference to the earlier Reviewer who doesn't think Autism is a disability. Perhaps you should just speak for yourself and not make such a sweeping statement my friend. Believe me Autism may well be a ''disorder' or whatever you think 'it' is but it can also most certainly be a disability. Some people with Autism can't communicate effectively to have even their most basic needs met, some people who have Autism cannot leave the house because of their incredibly heightened anxiety when having to face a world they do not understand, some people with Autism have severe chronic sensory issues either hyper or hypo sensitive ,some people with Autism suffer from pain every day of their lives but are unable to verbalise this so that they can access appropriate medical treatment or painkillers, some people with Autism need to have a full time Carer with them for duration of their lives as they have no sense of danger and cannot cross a road safely on their own, or cook a meal, or drive a car or run a bath or indeed wipe their own bottoms, are these not 'disabilities'? I ask you then.... what are they? I could go on - the list is endless. Autism is a Spectrum Disorder- no two people are the same, we are all individuals. My son has Severe Low Functioning Autism accompanied by a severe Intellectual 'disability' , this is just another word my friend ....the important thing is to recognise these shortfalls and do our best to help. My son has a twin sister who is not on the Spectrum, she is a straight A student, she is tall and beautiful, popular, kind and funny, a great communicator, she is a writer and a poet and a talented athlete, my son has none of these attributes except the beauty, he is the most beautiful child l have ever seen, strangers stare at him in the street , girls throw sideways glances ....to no avail of course. I am proud of both of my children but my son is the one that we all....including his sister- love with a tender unconditional love... he is in short - the light of our lives. SIMPLY THE BEST. I have spent countless hours searching for apps for my autistic son (6yrs) since buying his iPad a couple of months ago, and this app does so much of the ‘leg work’ for you, what a time saver. I reckon this should be the first App anyone with a special needs child, or any parent of young children, should download. Even if you've had your device for a while you're still likely to find some new apps by using this one. I'm definitely spreading the word about this one. What a little ripper!!!

Very misleading. Why don’t you make it clear that this app is just the ‘free’ gateway in to all of the other overpriced apps. Made the mistake of purchasing the timer and there and no editing options, guess what...there are other people with ASD in the world apart from USA, changing the accent would be more than ideal. If I could rate this app less I would.

Speech Pathologist. I love this app. It has steered me in the direction of many other apps that are useful for my work with autism. It has a bit of a slow reaction time when you tap a button but who cares? I highly recommend it.

What about autistic people?. All the apps are aimed at parents/therapists. No apps intended for use by actual autistic people. Didn't even mention the dozens of AAC apps I found while searching for this.
