It's like Tetris, but harder. Idk I think this game is genius in the way it's played so simple to learn yet hard to pass

I'm still not sure I like it.. I almost feel like if never get to the next level which makes it not fun. I play it because I think I may figure out what I'm doing wrong but nothing. I continue to play but it's not my favorite

Sends annoying notifications. Game itself was more stressful than fun. After a day or so of not playing it sent me a notification asking me to play again. Am now reviewing it before I uninstall. Don't abuse notifications.

So, so addicting.. I stopped playing just long enough to write a review.

Too fast, not fun. I love games like this but after your fifth or sixth set of bricks the timer goes way too fast. It becomes stressful instead of challenging. There's that line with great games where they always keep things difficult enough to be a challenge but easy enough to be fun. Pile never finds that sweet spot, and it's a bummer because the game is so beautifully designed.

Good. I think it's a little irritating that you don't get time to think so you need to be really fast, it takes a while to understand and pass levels. Also it's a bit stressing and addictive.

Very addicting. Takes awhile to pass levels, but that could be because I'm not that good! but over all keeps me busy when I'm trying to kill time.

Very nice. Although I don’t have the app on my phone, I played this game on my iPad. It’s very good. I wonder who likes this game...

So FUN!!. I think this game is SO FUN! Because you keep trying to beat your own score and it gets better and better!

Simple yet amazing.. Great game. Only rating it four out of five stars because of how long it takes to earn coins. I usually get at least 3,000 points on a good run but even then i earn the minimal amount of coins. A fix to this would easily get this game its fifth star.

Awesome game!. It's super addicting and I just play and play. The only real critique on my end is that there should be better mission descriptions. There are some that I have own by accident and others that I don't fully know what's expected. Otherwise, this game is dope.

Love it!. I really love this game it reminds me of the good old Tetris days and is not some knock off that most games are.

Not enough variety. I would like to play an untimed mode to kinda of just enjoy breaking blocks and the puzzle aspect. Little too stressful in it’s current state.

Challenging, fun, but a little twisted. The twisted part about playing PILE is when I try to pull down a set of blocks and I accidentally bring down the wrong pair. The instructions for the game are not that clear- like the icons that appear while playing are not well described. I still don't understand why somebody would press the red icons that make the game unplayable.

Seriously addictive. It might be a simple game but I still can't stop playing it...

Really Fun. This is a really fun game. It gets harder and harder each time. It will give you power ups but watch out, there are also bad power ups aswell.

It was better before the update.. I wish "classic mode" was the original game before the update. The new version is more challenging but the old version had a better pace that was similar to tetris.

Pile is synonymous with.... In just saying that this app lacks refinement or explanation. It's quirky interface becomes a bigger obstacle to achieving a high score than the really obscure special tiles that make no sense and interrupt the already choppy game play. Overall, this means that this game is not worth playing at this point. Its a nice start, but really just quirky and frustrating.

Addictive!. I play often, easy to learn and get around. Upgrades make sense. Enjoy a lot-maybe too much!

Like a more stressful Tetris. This game is a lot of fun. It's simple and kills time and doesn't badger me to invite friends on Facebook. If it didn't want me to buy things periodically, I would give it 5 stars.

Beautiful game, brimming with style. I'd gladly pay for this game. I love it. EXCEPT as it is right now, I can't give it more than 2 stars. The gameplay is refined, it's quirky and a great to look at. It's a great game, but it's bogged down when you begin to realize the agenda. This is nothing more than a game to phish you for your money. By level 4 you will be bombarded by a quickening timer and an immense amount of [x] blocks. When you die it conveniently asks you to purchase a "second life." Micro-transactions and in-app purchases ruins - yet again - another game that could very well become the next Tetris if the developers had any foresight into sharpening up their brand. Play it for a bit, but I know you won't bother with it for long. Everyone will have deleted this within a week's time.

Great game. This is a really fun game. It really gets you thinking about the puzzle and matching certain things up. Great mind-enhancer!

Old version please!!!. This game used to be so good. It was simple like Tetris. And then they gave it this terrible facelift, introduced all these quirky features, and added in app purchases. I miss the old pile...and I can't find it anywhere. Had so many hours in it but I couldn't play this version for more than two weeks. Now I'm back searching for my sweet baby again. Sigh, times they are a changing I suppose...

Needs to gear up. I love playing pile but I wish there was a way to cruise through the lower levels. I am always bored until I get to level 11 or 12 and wish there was a way to start the game there. Like if you lose at level 15, you can restart at level 10 instead of trudging through

Timers too fast.. I love this game but starting at about half way through level 4. The timer goes way too fast and then you don't have time to place the blocks in a way that you can win. Also it would be helpful if you could but things like the eraser in the middle of the game. Other than that great game.

Fun!. I needed a new game, so I downloaded this out of Boredom. Now I am addicted and can not put it down!

great but I'm stuck!. I love it and I'm totally addicted but in order to do anything else you have to get to level 6 - I don't know how to make the flashing bombs or the x's go away and it feels impossible to get to level 6 :(

Simple yet addictive.. Fun game that is very simple at heart but gets exciting when the timer runs low. I play this game at least 5 times a day. I recently went back to Apple and am so glad I get to play this game again!!!

No longer fun. Since the new update, this game is no longer fun. It was sleek and easy to play. Now, you are just another game wanting me to spend money. I don't like the speed in which it plays and all the new power-ups and buttons just make it too confusing. I am no longer a fan.

Addicted. I love this game! It's become very addicting! It keeps me on my toes with the time and it keeps me busy. It's my go to game when I have time to kill. 😄😄

A simple and solid game.. Good game. The time left in in each turn could possibly be better illustrated as a countdown in seconds rather than the bar at the top.

Too slow. Very boring and monotonous gameplay. You are limited by time to make your moves, but the controls prohibit you from making your moves quickly and intelligently

Whoops, I'm addicted. I think I downloaded this as App of the Week from somewhere - I did not go looking for it. Total accidental find. That being said, I find I am playing this game a LOT! And have been for about a month! Not tired of it yet. It is challenging, and I am not very good but it doesn't make me feel like I am bad at it. It is a great way to pass time. Sometimes I do great! I still am not sure I know all the rules but that doesn't stop me from enjoying this game. Give it a try!

Style before substance. This game has tons of potential. If more time was spent on the game mechanics instead of the design/ui, this would be a clear winner. Unfortunately it is a pretty shallow experience. Sort of like if a minimalist got ahold of Candy Crush and stripped out 90% of the fun. Also, they packed it with in-app purchase opportunities, but I can't imagine anyone feeling like they should spend money to unlock every little thing ($24 to unlock a game mode? sheesh!). Seriously, if you are confident that your game is good (or you are at least committed to making it better), sell it. Only d-bag devs cram their apps with lame IAPs.

Alright. This is such a fun game, and also very addicting but once you get to level four is when the apple store makes its appearance, "hey your so close, buy this" which ruins the replay value, you can only get to level four so many times until its not even a challenge

Great but.... The timer is in fact a little to fast look you got less then 10 seconds to look at the blocks on the ground and your new ones then you got to think of where to place your new 4 blocks so that's at least placing 1 block precisely every 2.5 seconds. I'm a pretty smart guy but not even I can get pass level 6.

Fun yet challenging. I really like this game a lot. But you have to realize that in app purchases is what is keeping this game alive. Instead of annoying advertisements, they have in app purchases to help support the game. I like Pile but I have very little money to support the game. 4/5

Timer is too fast. Loved the game before the update, but now the timer speed increases way too quickly. I still like it, but it's less fun, and has less replay value now.

Tetris: 2. It's Tetris with different colors and power ups. Look at it. 12/5

Big swing, no ding. The game screams "we want all your $$$ with its exorbitant in-app purchases. I would have given it 3 stars if it's gameplay was focused on playability rather than a blatant cash-grab. This game really has nothing that would encourage one to throw down some cash.
