I use it all the time for voice recording.. I’ve been using this app for years now. I am still finding features I didn’t know it had. Mostly I use it to record business meetings or any event where someone is speaking and i want to capture it. It doesn’t matter how close or far away i am, the quality is always good. I also record live music at church just by turning my recorder on, sitting the phone down and forget about it. Playback sounds like it did when I was sitting there live. I have also found the eq function very useful. I recently made my own audio of soft rain with the occasional car driving by. I love the way this recorder captured the sound.

Homeless and grateful. Thank you for making the BEST and most User Friendly recording ap. I have been homeless and sometimes hopeless until I found your ap. It brings the utmost emotion of gratitude that there are people who God has spoken to about offering this great tool without monetary requirements so that persons such as I can find a way to upgrade our lives. I am told that I have a great (singing and speaking) voice so I use it for that and keeping “notes” that will become part of my blog and book. Pause works FINE for me. Pause n stop work fine. I noticed a ‘top’ review from someone said it didn’t work for them so that is the first thing I tried after install. (turns out I installed it years ago and my old recordings are still there!). I ran multiple tests and it worked fine. BUT note that unlike in Apples voice record app, it takes TWO clicks to start recording. The first just let’s you set the recording parameters, the second starts recording. Visual feedback makes it clear to me when it is and is not recording. Oh and the silence detection works fine too, BUT you do have to set the silence volume threshold appropriately, and you must do that WHILE recording. Again visual feedback makes it clear whether it’s set right.

Allows Super-Long Recording. Great app for your super-long business meetings, general audio gathering and my songwriting. Got this app back in 2015. I accidentally left it on while recording. Did not realize it until 7-1/2 hours later. I stopped the recording which was totally saved even though my iPhone had been sleeping during all of that time. This was without turning on the silence detector. The result was a perfectly working 217MB MP4 audio file. Are you listening, Maxwell Smart? As far as I know, the recording time might not even be limited. The feature set on this app is great including audio sampling selectivity and file formats. Sound files can be moved without needing to go online or use cloud. Files are automatically named by date and time down to the second but you can edit file names. The ads are confined to a tiny row space at bottom of app, not very annoying but I would recommend upgrading to ad free version for a cleaner app space and to reward the developers for this popular and well proven recording app.

Great for bird songs. I wanted something to record birdsongs to help ID the various concert-presenters in my yard. Very easy to go from install to recording in few easy steps. Was able to record and ID a grey catbird who performs nightly free concerts in our front yard. Exceptional sound clarity (probably owing more to 7S-plus mic). The virtual anaolog display makes it easy to see if it is picking up the sound that you want it to. I was able to edit the length to crop to just the part I wanted. Also able to pause the recording while waiting for loud car to pass. There was no noise on the recording (like an analog might) to indicate where I paused & resumed.

The only app I need for recording. I love this app. I’ve used it since 2016 and it’s now 2020. It’s easy to use and the sound quality is fantastic. I’ve tried other recording apps but this is the only one I’ve kept. I use this app to make journal entries, record bird calls when I go birding, record phone messages that I want to listen to over and over again (a voice message from my best friend who was killed in a car accident), or anything I want to save. It uploads to my cloud easily. The devs are wonderful & they keep the app updated. I enthusiastically recommend it if you need a reliable recorder that always works.

Great app !. I really enjoy this, and use the heck out of it. The only curious downside I’ve encountered is that for some reason, trying to open a file I’ve received from someone else who created an audio file(.m4a) in the same app on their iPad, returns an error and won’t open it : s’up wid dat !? There are some feature requests I could make, but I don’t believe this is the proper forum for doing so, but this is a great app, which has most of the controls you may want to make modifications to, and any others we might have are more than likely unable to be implemented due to API sorts of issues.

Love the app... But want to know. I am basically using app for recording while driving with my gps and Bluetooth speaker. Can you tell me is it possible to receive voice directions from gps, while recording? I thought maybe the app would pause itself while receiving either gps directions or phone calls and then resume once the messages has been received. Please let me know is this possible and if so, how do I do it? I love the app and hope this can be done. I spend a lot of time in my car driving and want to be able to record while doing so. Good App & Great Customer Support. Have been using this app to record vocal parts during our choir practices and have been very pleased. Occasionally, when editing the parts, I would encounter a problem that prevented me from editing further....tried contacting support via email without really expecting a response...to my pleasant surprise, I received an acknowledgement and request for problem files within 15 mins of sending the mail. Got a response back that they could reproduce the issue and were working on a fix....a day later, cause was identified and communicated to me. In this day of orphan apps, it is highly refreshing to get both a good tool and outstanding customer support! Highly recommend this app!

Feature suggestion. First of all, we love this app! We are a live multi piece working performing band and like to rough record our gigs for later review. We been using this app along with an IRig interface taking a line out directly from the main board. After a gig, I import the audio in mp3 format direct to Dropbox that the rest of the band has access to play back. The feature suggestion I would like to see is in the import process, it could import with the gain control settings that used on playback. No matter what you set it to, the mp3 import is flat exactly how it was recorded. Sometimes the level from the board is set to low during record process and need to be tweaked up. The app cannot do that as far as I can tell. We been working around it by taking the file after import and using other software to bring up the level and re-saving. Other than that, we love this app!

My favorite recording app. Have had this app for about 10 years now. I love it. Great sound quality. Very user friendly. Love the book marking feature. Love that I can upload a recording to the iCloud in less than 3 seconds, then download it to my other device. It’s got dozens of other great user friendly features too, some of which I use, some I don’t bc I have simple recording needs, but imagine would come in handy for others who need more sophisticated sound production.

Phenomenal. I am not one to write app reviews, truly, but this app is absolutely incredible. I am a full-time cinema student, and I have always been impressed with the sound capabilities of iPhones, but this app just brings out the absolute best in iPhones' recording capabilities. I love how much control I have from the file type to the recording gain. You can even edit within the app! This all has anything I could ever need in an audio recorder in a pinch, and I am forever grateful. I will always have my phone recording in the corner of all my sets just in case!

Dependable once again. I tried to edit the review I left earlier but was unable to. I had reported instances of recording in church that resulted in absolutely no sound. Well, after deleting Voice Record Pro from my iPhone 6s Plus and reinstalling, I am happy to report flawless recordings for the past few months. I think I'll try out version 7 Full, now that confidence has been restored. There is one problem, though, that I hope a future update will fix. Instagram is unable to upload an MP4 video exported from VRP. Something wrong with the "wrapper". It repeatedly fails to upload and clones the MP4 in Camera Roll every time it fails. My workaround is to open the MP4 in iOS iMovie and export to Camera Roll. Instagram will then accept the video.

Stunning sound quality. I downloaded this app, thinking that there might be an occasion on which I would need to record a short message. Then my music recording system broke down, so I set my iPad on the piano and gave this app a try. The beautiful sound on the playback was a truly pleasant surprise. Equally amazing are the audio trimming and joining functionality as well as the ability to convert the audio files to MP3 format and the various ways of saving the recordings. Thank you for making such a quality app!

Feature filled recorder. So many good features such as pausing/resuming recordings, adding bookmarks in recordings, merging recordings, jump forward and backward buttons (with adjustable duration) during playback, adjusting playback speed, editing clips, etc. this app has it all, where many other apps were missing one or more of these features. I especially appreciate the rich features because iOS basically has very few useful features on the native apps, especially iOS voice recorder, which has no features at all except record/stop/and play. I just changed my rating from three to five stars because I solved a problem where the recording would abort when I would use another app that plays sound. I resolved it with the following setting: Settings/recording/interrupt free recording (toggled on). This is useful, because I often record for hours while I’m using other apps.

It almost seems like cheating….. After 15 years of having to juggle multiple recording and editing apps to get access to all the different features, I find this app and literally I feel like it’s too easy! It’s doesn’t seem right to have every single feature I would ever want or need, plus a ton more…i feel they’re going so above and beyond that I just want to donate to the cause of actually offering people what they want and need.

Update. I wrote a review asking for features that have been largely implemented. So I know they listen. Unfortunately, there is no way to contact the creators to get support. So leaving a review is the only way it seems we can communicate. This is still my go-to recording app, but I have a need for a new feature. I need to be able to start and stop recording from a connected cable or Bluetooth button. I am going to start using it to record my Bass, and I need to be able to start and stop the recording without having to tap the screen. Sometimes the phone isn’t within arm’s reach or I need to be able to start and stop more quickly. If I could connect a foot switch up to control the recording, that would be so useful.

Organizers Dream. This app has so many useful functions. You can title your recording and then create folders for ease of reference and creation of playlists. You can edit your tracks and append them to each other. You can create different sound files depending on your need. I record my podcast using the advanced sound features which create great sound quality and make it so easy to transfer my files to my podcast platform. All in all, the best recording and organizational app I have found.

Still a Super App!. UpDate April 17, 2020 Still the. Absolute best voice record app . User interface is clean, easy to view. The level control for only recording when the volume is at the level you want it to start recording works very well. This is one of the best apps I have. Get this app. You won’t be disappointed! UPDATE: October 6, 2019 Had this app for a couple years now. Still the best recorder for iPhone. I like the USer Interface a lot also. BUY IT! You won’t be disappointed. ——————- Buy this app you won't be disappointed. Wish I could give it 20 Stars! I am Writing another review because of more options. I would pay a lot more for this App then the small amount charged. This app has more great options then I realized when I wrote first review. Filters, effects, append, split and many more and they all work. I have not seen a recorder that comes anywhere close to the quality of this one or any app in any category that has so much and works so well. The programmers clearly know what they are doing.

From a 11-year podcaster, this is all you need.. To say this app, voice recorder pro, has some nifty advanced features is a major understatement! It’s very professional and comprehensive. I am truly astounded at how many features are packed into this superb app. In addition to editing features there’s “append” which enables you to pop on your intro and outro track amazingly straight from the app! Finally, my fave: upload features! From the app I can upload directly to my dropbix and soundcloud accounts! The coders and developers thought of and implemented everything you need for voice work and recording. This app makes my career easier. Thanks, mates.

The BEST SOUND PICKUP !. 5 Star rating for this sound recording app. When recording anything, this pucks up everything !! I had to take my clock off the wall because it was pucking up the ticking sound of the second hand so clear. Be careful when youre recording and moving around your phone setting it down & moving around it picks up all sound loud & clear. My first recording sounded like i was in a wind war zone with all my movements touching it and setting it down was recorded, its very good, and the settings & variations are plentiful. A useful app & its fun too.

Perfect. I use this app to help with language learning and translation. It doed an absolutely perfect job. It even has features that I didn’t know I need it until I checked it out further. There’s so many options with this app. What’s cool is the creators are not greedy and are offering so much. My only complaint is I couldn’t pay them more. I happily searched out in the system preferences how to pay for no ads. The ads actually didn’t bother me but I just wanted to give these people some money. Thank you so much!

The best app ever!. Well, I do my classes on Skype and if I record on Skype it’ll delete after a few days, so I got this app and it let me record at any time anywhere and so I could even import it or export it. There’s two ways to do it, one Wi-Fi download and use other devices, two Wi-Fi download and use Web Dev. It’s very easy to use this app so download it today. The only reason I don’t like the app is that when I’m importing from A new phone, it wouldn’t connect to the phone. At that time, I only used the other devices method. So then, it took like two or three hours to figure out that we can also use what Dev, and that’s how it worked out for the best.

Mixed Review. This is a brilliant program when it works. I have been using the pro version for a couple of years, and it provides sophisticated controls with a clear interface. It has become important to me, but I may have to quit using it. About every third time I try to use it, I get this ambiguous message: Error: unable to initialize recorder. Try to re-calibrate the audio engine and change the recording options. Also check the advanced recording options in settings. Recalibrating the audio engine does not solve the problem. Changing the recording options does not solve the problem. Changing advanced settings does not solve the problem. The only thing that works is restarting the iPhone, which is a major pain when you have to do it every day. I am using an iPhone X, with fully updated operating system. This is the first review I have ever written. I hope to find a solution to this problem.

9-year happy marriage with this trustworthy app. I just want to express my appreciation for this app which I began using in 2014 after iphone Voice Memos devastatingly truncated a priceless and irreplaceable 30-min live interview of my dying grandmother down to 6 mins. I subsequently swore off Voice Notes forever. Fortunately my next try was Voice Record. For 9 years of song-writing sessions, meaningful family voice recordings, and many lecture recordings, this app has performed flawlessly for me—a bar I wouldn’t hold any app to AND YET—Voice Record has never crashed on me, never botched or lost a recording, has carried over from phone to phone, and never fails to impress with its huge array of features and options. It’s clear the developers were and are thoughtful, competent, and diligent to keep it running in tip top shape. THANK YOU!

Amazing. I’ve been searching for an app for recording voice overs for my videos - specifically one that could capture clean audio with no background hiss or “room tone.” The ability to set the input gain was half the battle, and the other half was solved when I paired this app with a Sennheiser ClipMic for iOs.. Crystal clear audio! Tons of features! Super easy to use! I love this app. I don’t care about the ad banner but I upgraded the app anyway to help support the developer! Get this app!

Best voice recording app I’ve ever used.. Interface is definitely a bit “different,” probably purposefully designed to be nostalgic. But in terms of what this app does, this thing is perfect (and ridiculously powerful for a voice recorder). Especially for folks like me who like to tinker with things. This obviously was some app that enthusiasts threw together, and it shows because it pays attention to all kinds of weird details I never would have known to expect. And it works excellently on the Apple Watch too, so if you’re looking for a replacement for Apple’s built in app, this is probably what you’re looking for.

Simple and User Friendly …but…. This is a simple and user friendly tool that does exactly what a lot of subscription based voice recorders do for a monthly fee! Records with easy ability to change titles, file names, extensions, categories and organization. Even does in-app transcription! That said, I’d like to talk to the devs for a moment: I love everything you’ve done. There’s just one thing missing that I’d love added in a future update. Please add the ability to choose which Google Drive folder it uploads to. Right now it only uploads to the top level and I’d rather not have to take the extra step of having to open Google and manually reorganize the file location. Thank you!

Voice Recorder works Great with Rode Stereo Microphones!. I have been using 2 Rode stereo microphone to record our Church Choir offerings using Rode’s recorder. Fire some reason that app stopped allowing me to record anything so I decided to use “Voice Record” and was blown over by the quality of the recording and how easy it was to transfer the recording to other devices! The most important thing I like about it is it doesn’t seem to pick up any background noise or static when there is a silent person in my recording session. Bravo Voice Recorder!

Still LOVING This App. I’m pretty sure I already gave this app a glowing review, but I just want to reiterate how brilliant it is. I am not a professional (or amateur) musician or the like, but use it to record memos to myself or certain convos. I also used it to secretly record my EX going crazy/angry/screaming on me (legal in my state)! Which really helped with divorce negotiations! The app is ridiculously easy to use, I don’t get the negative reviews, but I would guess they weren’t patient or they screwed up and want to blame someone! Thanks so much for creating this! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing features, no paywall. This app is perfect for everyone. If you just need a quick voice memo or don’t understand audio programs, the simple interface means even a child can use it, but that plain exterior hides a multitude of amazing features that I never expected in a free app. If I went into detail I’d probably spend an hour writing a book about this app, but I’ll simply say that I am incredibly impressed that the app developers have created an incredibly flexible and powerful app that can do seemingly anything. It’s like they anticipated my every need and then some.

Apple nerfed voice memos. Try this instead.. I can’t believe I’ve been using Apple’s voice memo app all these years and didn’t know about this. I recently upgraded from iOS 10 to 12 and found that Apple had completely ruined their own voice memo app somewhere along the way. This one more than makes up for it. It’s got all the bells and whistle‘s you ever need in the voice app. My favorite is the silence detection mode where it only records when you’re talking. I immediately bought the ad free version to support the devs. Thanks!

Actually amazing. This somehow FREE app is actually really awesome. This is, for the record, the second five star review I’ve ever left for a free app on the App Store. The only other one was for Clash of Clans like 4 years. I only leave reviews if an app is exceptionally good or bad, and this is one of the highest tier free apps I’ve ever come across. Compression is really good, even through my phone’s crappy mic the music from my guitar still sounds... not anywhere near true professional levels, but still beyond amateur levels even WITH decent microphones. Like it actually sound really, really clean, crisp, and well-balanced. This is, of course, taking into consideration it is a FREE app. But it is still well worth downloading, and if you hook a really nice speaker up to your phone or PC/laptop and use this app... I can’t even imagine the magical sound that will make.

Top of the line recording app!!!. The app is great..has more then what you can ask and does more then what you can think of. Reason I gave it 3 stars if because out of all the great and wonderful feature it has, it can’t record on Apple Watch or iPhone let say if the screen of Apple Watch goes black. It would be great if it can record without showing that it is recording for those important moments in life that needs to be recorded without others around knowing that you are because it shows on Apple Watch or iPhone screen. This would be a great spy feature on this app and also on Apple Watch if it could record simultaneously without others knowing. If this feature could be added without removing the others great features that it has I would give it 10 stars because no other app can compare to this one except for the fact that it can’t record simultaneously while Apple Watch screen is dark or off or on sleep.

Easy to use, flexibility in editing. Update: I've used this app for four years now and still consider it top of the line. The advanced edit allows you to cut out middle sections of a recording easily. It's visual too - easy to go right to the problem area based on height of audio spikes. Speaking and comments are usually narrow bands compared to the wide bands when music or vocals are located in your recording. I use this app to record vocal tracks for sound qualifying. It is a one step process to convert a recording to MP3 format. It sends the MP3 as an email attachment to easily share with others. I like the feature that allows you to trim a recording and save to a new file. Great for cutting out conversations prior or after a vocal recording or just selecting a section of the music to focus on when practicing or sharing with others. Moving recordings to a folder involves checking a box, then move to folder to separate from recordings organized by date recorded or imported. Importing from Dropbox is easy and allows access between IPhone, IPad and desktop computers. I upgraded to the paid version and thought it was a true bargain. I've paid for other recording apps and quit using them because this app is the best.

Highest quality app. Voice Record is a technically perfect app from my standpoint as a regular user since early 2014. It’s design is solid and it definitely does exactly what it says it does, and it does it reliably. I have downloaded many apps like this, but none compare to the flexibility built into Voice Record. I rely on it to manage several oral histories from my family and friends, many of whom are no longer on the planet. It has never let me down. I like the wide variety of file formats and file storage options. No other app comes close to this one for operational flexibility. I wouldn’t hesitate to make it a mission critical app in almost any business dealing with voice recordings.

Best Audio Recording App for Songwriters. Powerful and elegant. I've tried them all. For songwriting, this is the best recording app on the market. Key features: 1. Bookmarking. With ability to shift the start time of the bookmark by different amounts. I call this the “Burt Bacharach” feature because of his wish to have this kind of audio recording feature. 2. Simple “section extract”. So when you stumble on a killer 30 seconds of songwriting inspiration in a 30 minute session and you want to carve out that chunk and save it as a new file. Great implementation of that feature. 3. Flexible and easy way to backup songs to multiple cloud services. 4. Autorepeat. A must have for songwriting. 5. Easy to import Apple Voice Memos. 6. Note taking. 7. Identifies the notes I play on my guitar during playback. So I can go back and figure out what I played. 8. File organization is prolific. Every option you can think of. Has a ton of other stuff as well: All the main file formats. Easy to share with others. Nice implementation of audio effects to enhance the sound. Note: There are two versions that are essentially identical. There is Voice Recorder Pro. And then there is Voice Record 7. The only difference is that Voice Record 7 has a more modern, flat design. I like this version best.

Voice record. I’am a lifelong musician and have been the recording person for every session since 1970 that I’ve played with. Reel to Real - cassettes- multitracks recorders- Digital decks. Just as a backup I downloaded your FREE app and started just leaving the phone wherever I could find a nitch in the session. I don’t know how this app works but y’all must have put magic mixer monkeys from George Martin’s garage in there cause the recording is usually perfect ! Press the button and your off. The added feature of date and time is great also! Ok point in case, we have a large studio that we meet at and have improvisational jams in the wee hours. We have the state of the art and vintage gear to record with. We had a 35 minute jam that we had to listen to, we gather to listen and realize that the kick drum mic and the Bass mic were basically off and the room mic was too high. Not a great recording, we were sad ! So just as a thought I said I recorded it with “ VOICE RECORD PRO” ! We hooked up my phone and everyone was stunned, the mix was near perfect and sounded great! We all laughter at, us in a million dollar studio listening to an App that trumped the studio! Thank you so much for this app, you guys rock !

Adjustable input gain gone?. I’ve been an avid user of this app since 2013. It’s been my primary source to record any ideas since then. Recently it seems that they’ve gotten rid of a huge function in the app, adjustable input gain level. It used to be when you start a new recording a sliding fader would appear allowing you to adjust your input gain level. I’ve searched for a while now and I can’t seem to find this option anymore. To the developers of the app, please bring this function back. It was useful beyond recognition, it allowed you to calibrate your device to any setting for the best possible quality recording. With this setting available the app deserves five stars; it’s reliable, consistent, organized, and easy to use. To the other users: have you found this to be the case too?

Nothing better than this!. I’ve been using voice record pro for many years. I like apps that do not include you having a subscription. Purchase the app and use it for as many years as you like. This app has been constantly upgraded over the years and has more features than you can possibly dream of. It connects through every cloud storage area you can think of. It works wonderfully with all my Apple devices.

Great way to capture music. You know how sometimes a catchy tune that you’ve never heard before just pops into your head and you’re sure it’s a snippet of what you could make into a great song? This is the perfect way to capture it. I used to run to the piano and bust out my sheet music and a pencil and try to write out the notes before I forgot it, but this is much better. Now I just open up this app, hit “record” and hum or sing away. You can do as many takes as you want. You can add notes to each take. You can send a take to a producer, colleague, or e-mail it to yourself so you can upload it to your computer and put it in your track. It is very versatile. When it’s on Advanced the sound quality is really good, I wouldn’t say it’s great, but it’s much better than other apps I’ve tried to use so it’s great for singers to hear what they really sound like. This app is a must for any aspiring singer or musician.

Absolutely awesome. Ever since I got this I’ve been using it to record guitar parts and vocal parts and the reproduction of the sound quality is amazing not to mention the other many things this thing can do. Sending files is super easy but none of that would matter if the sound quality was not really good and in my opinion out of the ones I’ve checked out this one is the best. In fact I changed my strings on my guitar to a warmer gauge and you can hear the difference on these recordings I make thanks to whoever came up with this app I love it! When you need to record something fast this is definitely the way to go.

Incredible options - years of improvements. Update: although my original review (below) was very positive, at that time the app had less features. It now has the ability to import from iPhones Music Library as well as many other sources. In addition there have been regular updates over the years. It has so many features now that it has become the only audio recording app I need, and I often import audio into it from other sources so that I can take it advantage of its many features. It an indispensable tool for anyone serious about audio recording. Original (outdated) review: I've used at least five different recording/audio apps and this has become my favorite because it has so many options for exporting and editing and recording. Truly impressive! However there is one thing Hokusai can do that vrp cannot: import files from the iPhone's Music Library. It would also be nice to be able to record while other apps output sound, but I suspect that can't be done. Great app that's well worth the $!

What happened. Used for years and now you record a memo And when you out pause ans then continue the recording is all garbled. Taped several lessons that teachers allow us to do to listen later to make sure notes are good and now after the pause the recordings are unintelligible ! I wish I could post the recordings here. So when I realized this happened I did a recording in my house if one minute, 30 secs speaking, then paused for 15 secs and continued recording for next 15 secs The last portion after the pause is all garbled ans unintelligible! I did this on mp3 , wav and m4a all with same results. I just can’t delete the app and then download again because I’ll loose several important recordings. Everytime I calibrated the mic. Using latest IOS on iPhone 13

…and there’s still more. I’ve been using this for years and have a huge backlog of voice memos. I was just going through them and discovered all sorts of great sorting, categorization, and editing features. The interface is intuitive. The sharing features are comprehensive. There are editing and bookmark features I haven’t yet explored. I felt compelled to write a review and give them some stars. I was happy with the value of the paid version even before I discovered the features.

Still the Best. I have used this app for a long time now on my iPhones old and new. If however you wanted to use this app in conjunction with the Apple Watch there are some complex settings that need to be set. The Apple Watch likes to go to sleep that’s the first set back. Also in order for the app to stay alive the watch can never sleep, that doesn’t work. What you can do by default is set the app to run on the watch but have the a on the paired iPhone now the iPhone is the recorder not the watch. It works if the watch goes to sleep. The thing is the app appears on the face of the watch, if you push the crown and go back to the watch face the app stops. Past that it’s still the best.

Like losing your audio?. This app is ridiculously frustrating during recording.n There seems to be a magical combination of buttons that must clicked in order to keep from losing your audio. Whatever you do, don't try using anything like pause during recording. This "option" appears to erase everything recorded AFTER you resume recording. For example, I completed an hour long interview this morning, tapping pause early in the recording. I promptly tapped resume when I was ready to continue. I checked the time ticker throughout the recording to ensure that it was recording. When I finished, I tapped pause again. Then stop (as I have learned in the past when it erased another interview, this is the other "magical" combination necessary to keep it from erasing your recordings). The only audio I have from this morning's interview is pre the initial pause - a huge 1 minute of 60 minutes worth of audio. I have contacted Dayana's technical support via email to try and recover the lost audio from this morning. I've heard nothing back from them. Don't risk your data by using this ridiculous app.

Very satisfied with this app!. I’ve been dabbling in a masters program, listening to acoustic recordings for surveys and data collection. Those were recorded with more appropriate state of the art field equipment. I use Voice Record Pro to capture bird sounds on the go, as I hear things that I want to document, investigate more deeply, or use as a reference for what I’m hearing in my study recordings. This little phone app is quite impressive. I particularly appreciate how the gain settings can help pick up far sounds that I am barely hearing. The ease with which I can manage and download/upload files is a plus too. I highly recommend this app.

Best recording app ever!. I’ve used this app for about two years now. It records both sides of conversation perfectly, wether it be a phone call or a conversation in public. The clarity is incredible. When I call a business that I am having issues with, the first thing I tell the receptionist is that I am going to record the call. I have only been hung up on a few times after stating that, one has to state if you are going to use the conversation in a legal conflict. Once you are past that point in conversation the burden is on the company for every word they state. More often than not, that simple statement they are being recorded, often leads to a simple resolve of issues. I love this APP, it takes the cockiness out of the people who answer customers complaints.

Please help. So I got this app to help make a soundtrack type thing for a parade. After I finished working really hard on it I listened to it and it sounded good until this awful beeping noise came on. It happens twice in the recording and it beeps out the part of the recording. Please help because I need this for the parade and without some of those recordings, some things won’t make sense. (The parade is a contest and the theme is movies. I put together a recording of scenes from the movies we’re doing and it beeps out some of the scenes and I kind of needed those recording. Please help if you can. I could really use it.)

Ms Azita. Great application ever. I have been using this app for years for recording my singing class, piano class, as well as recording my children childish talks. Great in SOME Functions FATAL in Others. This has a great app if recording and basic editing is what you want. The sharing features are excellent as is the creating of movie frames to give visual cards. As others have said never overwrite your file unless you are sure it is what you want. A major issue is connecting audio jacks with iPhone adapters. Even with Rode audio mics and accessories there is audio-killing buzz. This is a fatal flaw which forces us to use older iPhones such don’t have this issue. After multiple assessments Apple insists it’s not their end. A recording impasse. I wonder if other users have found the same issue connecting wired mics?

Great but with bugs. Nice little app, I particularly like the bookmark function which I use extensively for tagging lesson notes. However the app somehow messes up play and pause functions - if I unpair headphones, it frequently starts to PLAY a recording.

Great app, but….. Is there a way to append/continue/resume a recording after it has been recorded? Can’t find the option anywhere. Surely with all the options this app has, it would have the option to continue. I can only find “append to another recording”. Continue is a must-have for a songwriter. Otherwise I would have given the app 5 stars.

No WAV Option, Despite Description!. UPDATE: I changed my review from 3 to 4 stars, because I discovered that it is possible to convert files to WAV format, after a recording has been made. That still isn’t the same as recording directly to WAV, as the description says is possible, but at least I can get there! INITIAL REVIEW: I chose this app because it says in the description, that it is possible to record directly to WAV format (which is essential for my purposes), but there is no WAV option in any of the settings, which is rather annoying! Equally annoying, is that the Support link just takes you to a website, with all their apps on it, when you select the app you want, it gives a list of updates, and the only option from there, brings you back to the App store! Those are ALL the options available on their webpage (apart from being able to register as a tester). But there is no way to communicate with anyone in the business, at all, that I could see!

More than 70hours recorded. More than 30 different occasions I’ve had the opportunity to use this Voice Record Pro App. I still have not discovered or utilised all of the many clearly explained functions and options with in the app functions. From the start of my recording needs, the basics like recording, saving, changing title names and sending to other devices through the AirDrop feature is easily and clearly explained. The delete function, the edit function and the save options are all clearly defined. The various recording options are all clearly defined. On my four different devices I can transfer, copy, save, rename, edit, bookmark and then send also to various other locations off the device itself. I do also use a few other recording apps but this is the best by far and has been my favourite so far. I have now been using Voice Record Pro App over the last eight months from my Apple devices . Excellent five stars.

Has been a great App. I have been using this App for many years and it worked flawlessly. However, just recently, its recording has started producing some glitches which I am unable to trace out. There was no issue with my iPhone mic as Voice Memo was recording perfectly at the same time. If the developers are familiar with this new recording issue, please fix it as I love this App.

Paid to remove ads to say thank you.. I’ve tried several voice recording apps and this was the best by far. Has everything I need and more. Can hide and reveal features that you may not need. Sending to cloud has been flawless, and converting and renaming files within the app has been easy. The free version was fully featured, and the ads weren’t too intrusive, but paid to remove them anyway as the app was worth it.

Brilliant app for mobile recording. I’ve tried a few and this is by far the best. It shares to all my platforms, records multiple formats and accepts external microphones. Recording on the move has never been better. Just wish I could pay for it to remove the ads lol!

Glitches make this app a liability. I love this app—it’s easy to use, provides you with control over important variables (such as whether or not to use iOS voice processing features when you record), and offers various effects. Unfortunately, those effects can be hazardous to use: for some reason, if you attempt to use the trim/add effect function, the app will sometimes automatically trim a recording to 0:02 in length. I’ve duplicated recordings and tried this multiple times and, even though I’m certain I haven’t trimmed the recording at all, the app is determined to provide me with only half a percent of the original audio. I’ve lost one file in this way and now encourage other users to select ‘create new recording’ when applying effects lest they should lose their own audio. Never overwrite the original file. Delete it only when you’re sure that this app has preserved its original duration, which is, sadly, not something you can rely upon.

love it. I love this app! it is my right hand and no 1 assistance for many years. i use it many times a day and it’s no 1 aid in my work as a podcaster, pianist, lecturer and educator. Wonderful. Simply brilliant . I have used this app for 10 years and it is never let me down and continues to amaze me.

Keeps freezing mid recording. Love this app, but occasionally it “has days” where it just freezes randomly mid recording and screws up everything and I have to restart. It’s unrelated to wifi or whether I restart my phone. It’ll just record, then eg at 2 minutes in, freeze and not record anything for 20-50 seconds, then resume. Extremely frustrating. So after you’re done and review your segment, you’ll have a gap in your recording. I can’t be the only person this happens to. Fix your app.

Good quality but massive corruption problems.. Was using this app myself and with my sister in order to podcast record. On four different occasions now our files have corrupted, hers turning to static and mine losing half the audio (for example a 28 minute file saving as 16 minutes) - we both have plenty of storage and specs required but there is clearly something terribly wrong with this app and has been extremely frustrating and detrimental. I was trying to stick by it due to the range of settings but unfortunately I’m going to find something that actually works from now on.

Never fails you. This app has saved me over and over again! I’ve done recordings up to 8hrs. Great playback quality. It has happened that it says file can’t played (heart attack! )but it fixes itself and the recording plays smoothly. As I said in the title it has never failed me. Highly reliable!

Professional and near perfect app. I've been looking for a high quality voice recorder which this app is. Easy and intuitive to learn. Numerous export and import options, hifi and lowfi recording choices, editing, trimming and effects, handy input gain control, familiar VU meter. Few little issues when iPhone locked and pause not working while recording. Dec 17 did a long recording when the phone rang and the battery soon went dead. Couldn't find the recording. Checked the help menu which said I wasn't connected to the internet when I was. Tried to send feedback but app said 'not working try again later' so I'm still none the wiser. Not quite sure how to email to sort out a missing recording. It would be good to have an autosave feature.

Being able to email from the app is excellent. If sending to others I recommend emailing to self first then forwarding from your emai account l. That way you know the recording arrived.

Great recording & and editing App.. I have used this little App to record a 30 person 4 part harmony choir rehearsals for the past 2 years. I edit down the 2 hour rehearsal into individual lessons and songs. It’s great. What I would love is when editing I can digitally enter exactly the time I want to place an edit cut. Using finger slide is not accurate at all. Thanks.

Almost perfect. Looks like a great App. However I cannot get stereo recording on my iPhone 11 Pro, even when I plug in a Rode i-xy stereo lighting connected mic. Also can’t find how to adjust recording level/gain. Would also like screen to rotate 180deg so I can point mix towards source and still see screen properly.

Amazing with Deity V-mic D4 Mini. I just downloaded the app to see if I could pick the difference from the default Voice Memo app using my Deity Mini mic. WOW! The quality is worlds apart! I would like to have seen airdrop as an option for transferring but there are so many other methods for me to embrace. Used to work on Apple Watch, but not any more.. Been using the app for the last 12months and it’s been great. I used it mainly for audio recordings on my Apple Watch and it’s worked perfectly until March 2020. Now the recording will start correctly when I press “record” on the watch, but then it randomly stops recording for some reason. Perhaps the developer needs to fix this bug? Not sure if other users have had the same issue? Recording from the iPhone works perfectly. It has only been a recent problem with functionality from the watch. Please fix.

Great little App. I am a singer/songwriter and I use Voice Record for capturing ideas, reworking songs, and general "note taking" type recording. This is not for professional level stuff, but for a free app, it is incredibly handy and easy to use. Highly recommend it!

Works great but one issue. This app works flawlessly except if you are recording and watch a media file it stops recording. Or Facebook or a short “movie” text message.

paid for it but…. I paid and used this app for several months without fail and loved it. yesterday it started saying it could not authenticate my OneDrive. It gave me no option to sign in again and i can’t establish the link. I removed the app and reloaded and it. Now i have Ads and can’t seem to get rid of them. Same problem with my One Drive connection. i can’t see anywhere to go for help within the app.

Superb Tool. As a professional this is invaluable. I use this to record my work weekly for auditions and for studio recording for TV. It works superbly and has almost all the functionality one needs. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not ProTools but perfect for firing off most non complex but detail single track work. Could use more lightning jack mic recognition.

Fantastic free app. I’m a singer in a choir & we memorize our pieces. I record our rehearsals for home practice & if we run a piece I’ll share with other choristers via email and Dropbox. I love that you can immediately upload to Box, Dropbox, send by email and lots more- right in the app. I’ve recommended this to my fellow choir members looking to record as well so there are a few of us in a small group that use this!

Voice Isolation Support. While this app already has lots of feature, it needs to enable iOS’s 15 Voice Isolation. Please do so for a 5-star review.

Record stops with an strange message. Recording stops with the message: "Voice Record Pro Recording stopped, device is getting out of battery." I do not know what is it talking about as I am using Logitech Blue microphone, which does not come with battery and my macbook pro is fully charged. This is a useless app.

Loving it. I’ve used this app for awhile now and am not very techie. This is easy to use and easy to share your recordings and file them. I just need to figure out the editing part and I’ll be flying!

Great app but collects data. I like this app a lot. It is easy to use and is rich with features. I like the user interface with the analog VU meter. You can also monitor the audio in digital meter view or wave view. The playback speed is very useful when you have to go through long recordings quickly. There so many other useful features that work well. I never had any problems with this app and I have used it for years. The only thing I am concerned with is that the Privacy section says that this app collects data linked to you (I.e. the user). Why does it need to do that ? I am not comfortable with this.

Personally I like the App.. The only flaw is that the App as a whole cannot be backed up. Only the individual files can be backed up individually. It would be more practical if the whole App (as it stands with all of the individual files) could be backed up and exported to a Cloud server and have the option of importing that same whole App to another computer/ipad.

I have an issue. The app is very professional, but there’s one glaring issue every time I use it; how do you edit or add to recordings? I’m doing an audiobook and was 10 minutes into a chapter and the app kicked me out of the recording process because of low battery, and I can’t seem to start from where I left off. I’ve had to redo multiple chapters from issues like this and it’s immensely frustrating.

10 dollars to remove ads?. The only difference as I read in your FAQ section between Free version and the paid one is the ads. So you charge 9.99 dollars just to remove that? That is not right and it is not making sense at all.

Fantastic. I'm a pastor and I record my sermons up at the pulpit. I forgot my regular full-size recorder and just had my iPhone with this program on it. In desperation I started it and begin recording. When I brought it to my computer and listened, the quality was outstanding and amazing. It equaled my expensive sound recorder and in some cases was better. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to record quality sound especially speech.

The best free audio recording app, hands down. Dayana’s free version either holds up to or out-performs many of the paid audio recording apps I’ve used. It crushes all of the free ones without a doubt. The presentation of the app is very far from perfect... however, with a rework of the ui and some slight functional adjustments, I’d be willing to bet this app would sell like gangbusters in the App Store if it were up for something less than ten. I’d honestly love to be able to make the changes haha. I’m a programmer and a musician :) Let me know, I imagine you have my contact info already haha

What I wanted and needed. The App is perfect! I had an opportunity to do a small segment on a radio show. The dream of a lifetime for me. As I’m extremely poor right now due to two heart attacks, I needed a high quality MP3 recorder to do my show. I looked all over and ones of any quality were hundreds of dollars. Then I found this app! Free...right. How many advertisements will I have to put up with to use it....in this case ZERO! Oh and when I need to send my file, I have many choices built in. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for more. The quality is excellent, the price is right and the zero advertisements is fantastic. I highly recommend this product! As soon as I can get some money, I will support it. Thank you for the help I needed. I bring your app up on my show every chance I get. It’s the least I can do. My audience has grown to 480,000.

Great app but recordings disappear when using the Movie Template. The app is great but I recorded a few songs and used the movie templates to share them on social media. Now that I’ve gone into the app to look for the recordings, I see that they have disappeared. That never happened before with my regular recordings. I tried to get support but there’s a forum only. I tried to post to the forum and I had to verify my email, but the system never sent the verification email. even after I tried twice. So,my issue is not resolved. My audio recordings are lost in the twilight zone.

Excellent. I use this app to study when I'm in my car. I've tried out several other similar apps, a few of which I paid for, and this one is by far the best for my needs... and it's free!! As a bonus, I noticed a glitch so I sent the company an email (not actually expecting a response). Not only did they respond immediately, but they fixed the glitch in the next update. You can't beat that!

User friendly. This is a great tool that I used for recording my music demo and especially my preaching. As a songwriter, melodies and words come to me at random wherever I may be. With Voice Record on my iPhone I can right away access it and record the melody by humming it. Even transferring the file to mailbox or drop box is so easy and convenient. What I enjoy the most is applying effects on my recording. I’m definitely recommending this product.

Almost every detail thought through and executed. I use this to finalize my songs. It holds up THE BEST to the dreaded car test. Moreover I use this to record live performances atop the piano. You can dial in the microphone at various bit rates and depths. Even when recording through just an iPhone. This developer deserves every penny. This is the real deal even if you don’t need all the ‘Pro’ features. Works fast, the UI makes sense and wow does it sound good!

None other like it. This is one of a kind as far as I can tell. It has something for the novice and pro user alike. A bug, YMMV: When using OneDrive I’m asked to verify the relationship every time (do you want OneDrive to allow Voice Record...). Irritating but still works. Also, the ability to reskin the app with the more modern, sleeker design of its sister app would be appreciated. As far as I can tell Voice Record 7 is functionally equivalent but it appears this version may no longer be in development, whereas that version is. I really can’t tell.

Good app overall. Generally a good app overall with choices for where to send recordings such as Dropbox and various cloud offerings. I am having one issue where recordings made on the Apple Watch never wind up getting transferred to the iPhone- they just stay in the pending transfer to phone folder forever on the watch. I can play them in the watch, which is cool, but can’t get them off to the phone. Some recordings make it to the phone just fine

Responsive. I’ve been using this app for 3 yrs and have been happy with its features and performance. But a couple weeks ago one of its editing features started causing the app to crash (b/c new OS update). So I sent a comment thru the app. They responded within a day and fixed the app within a week. That’s good customer service. I had been using the free version, but decided to buy the premium based on the service.

Best app ever!!. I won’t bother sharing every single little detail about why Voice Record is the best APP ever —because it truly is something that you need to experience for yourself to know exactly why everybody loves it … and why it’s the best app ever. I’ve been using it to record minutes for my meetings; for my business meetings, and to record instructions for my team. Have been using the app since it was first available, and I highly recommend it!

Almost great. This app initially provided everything I needed. I am mostly using it to record audio with my Apple Watch. However after a few weeks of using it I discovered a major flaw. The syncing between watch and phone is extremely buggy. Half the time the audio doesn’t sync on its own. The other half it thinks it synced but it didn’t. This leaves the audio stranded on the watch with no way to transfer it over. This app would get 5 stars if they made the watch work better with the phone. I’ll be looking for other options in the meantime.

Works great for editing music. I have been using this app to learn a keep passages of songs I need to learn. It works great for that application, I especially enjoy the speed feature, this allows me to slow down difficult riffs for easier learning. When I create my own parts I can go back months later to relearn what I played on that song. Glad I discovered this app Several years ago.

Great for quick recording. I love this app! All I have to do when I have a thought is whip it out and start recording. The append feature is also useful for when I make mistakes. There are also lots of options for more advanced recording. This makes for an app that is user-friendly and geared toward beginner recorders as well as more advanced recorders. It's also very flexible in organization. Thank you for making this app! It is an disorganized writer's salvation!

All the features I need!!. This is a wonderful app! It has all the features that I was looking for. The things I like about this app are the search function, the ordering options(date creation, size, alphabetic), bookmarking, audio playback speed adjustment, sharing options. These were some of the key features that I was looking for. Very memory efficient too. ***It would be really helpful to have a 10 sec rewind and 10 sec forward button. Also, the current audio splicing feature is not very user friendly. ***One gripe is that once I go to the search option I cannot figure out a way to get back to the memo listings. I have to close the App and reopen it to get back to the listings. Still this is only a small glitch compared to the overall usability of the App. So I still give it a Top 5 star!

Best Recorder on the App Store. I never write reviews but this is one I thought I would consider utilizing my personal experience. Best Recording program I’ve ever used. I Refer everyone to this program because of the crisp sound quality, easy to use interface and excellent additional features. I’ve Used it for years and tried others but the sound quality on this program keeps me a loyal customer and supporter.

The best but …. Used this app for several years to record our band practices and gigs. Uploaded to oneDrive so we could all share them. However at some point this upload connection changed, it now requires a login to Microsoftonline dot com. While I understand this need, it apparently opens all the information on my phone to Dyana Networks, the authors of this app. My question to Dyana then is specifically what are you looking at on my phone, and is this also true for other cloud uploads like Dropbox and iCloud?

LOVE RECORDER. CANNOT UNDERSTAND SHARING. It’s nice to have something I can record songs I write. I don’t look to create masterpieces. I wish to have songs I write for me and my friends while we can still hear and appreciate them. I emailed them. Followed all the instructions. My friends don’t know how to open and I don’t know what to tell them. Still, I’m glad to have it so I can save my songs. Thanks for it being there on my iphone.

Better than Voice Memos. This app is so much better than the preinstalled Vice Memos for the iPhone. I was a bit hesitant at first, but it’s not only the best voice recorder, loaded with a list of features, it’s even better than VLC media player (if not better, nearly as good), but having everything in one app has made life so much easier than using a recorder and a player. What I like most about this about is it has the 10 second skip back/forward like VLC.

Quality Audio + Easy to Use. Mobile audio recording is easy with this tool. I like having options to save/share an audio file direct from the app to storage providers such as Dropbox, One Drive, iCloud, .... in addition to email, text, etc. The editing tools are efficient and has allowed me to work smarter by having to use other editing software only when serious audio restoration/recovery is needed - a rarity for my use of mobile audio.

Finder Of Great App's. The app records really great. Sincerely an app you want to get. This is the best recording application out there. It plays back your recording just as you recorded it. It trims, you can put recordings together and I have not checked out the update as of yet. I read that it can take out from the center of the recording. I am using this application professionally and it has and is helping me to win my cases and put the truth out there. I am very grateful for the creator of this application. Blessings To You!!!!!!!🙏🏽

The best one. I tried many, many voice recorder apps mostly for songwriting. This is the best one. The only thing I would change is to make it easier to append to a recording. You should be able to go directly to a recording and start recording additional audio to add to the end of it instead of making a whole new recording. But losing that feature from my old voice memos app was worth it.

I love this app! However, a slight issue. I've used this app for a long while now, and I've continued to enjoy it! However, recently there seems to be an issue whenever edits are made. For some reason it'll go past %100 percent, and I'm not sure how much more it goes above before completing, but it usually stops somewhere around %130. Also, for some reason, after completion of editing, sometimes the new file fades somewhere in the recording and silences the rest of it, or the recording gets cut off before it's supposed to.

Excellent App. I use this app to record bird sounds, and will soon be using it to record the calls of birds that migrate in the middle of the night while I sleep. The app is great for editing, has flexible setting, allows you to import files, and easy organization. It would be even better if one could view a spectrogram for the file. The ads do not interfere with the app’s functionality.

Great songwriting help app. Love this app and use it exclusively to capture, minimally edit, and share new song ideas whenever and wherever they pop into my head. Some times run downstairs to the keyboard, jump out of the shower, or even pull off the road. Most of these ideas were previously lost before I could write them down or record. Would love a way to multi-track (wish list).

Great Features, Easy to Use. After downloading a lot of recording apps and being disappointed I finally came across this one. With the multitude of useful features, ability to easily edit and send recordings And an easy to use interface I made the purchase and am still happy with it after over a year.

Longer recordings not saving?. Grabbed the app to use on my phone but also as a pairing with my Apple Watch when times call for it. Loved how simple it was, how it could export and upload to numerous places (Dropbox for example). Had to use it via Apple watch in a pinch for an interview but after, the audio was gone. Can’t find it. Wondered if it was a length issue, so i tested it again (as a backup this time) for an interview and can’t find the file after saving it. Does the Apple Watch have a maximum file size/recording time? Understandable if so, just confused where that audio is going.

Super super buggy. The app disconnects my Bluetooth headset. The only way to make it work is by having another app opened in the background. Very very finicky. This app is extremely buggy, especially when using “advanced” recording mode. The engine’s input gain does not change even though the slider that adjusts it can be moved. The input gain value remains unchanged (can’t be changed by entering a desired value either). When the signal is clipped the whole recording gets “stuck” in that distorted range and has to be started all over again. This makes the app pretty much unusable unless you settle for a non WAV recording. EDIT 2023: this app is even more buggy on iPad Pro 12.9. Complete junk.

What happened to WAV?. I have used this app for some time to record audio bird vocalizations to upload to my eBird account. The app was recommended by Cornell University for this purpose and it is very easy to use. I am extremely disappointed to discover that Voice Record Pro no longer offers the option to record using the WAV format that is required for eBird audio submissions. I will no longer use the app or recommend it to other birders.

Helped save my sanity. I’ve recorded my husband’s verbal and emotional ab abuse. I didn’t know what gaslighting was, and being able to record his rage and manipulation allowed me to understand over a period of time what was truth and was fiction. I’ll use the data to improve my ability to see patterns over a period of time. Like many who are exposed to trauma and abuse I’d have a bizarre amnesia. The recordings helped me see/hear the truth.

Love it! Pls add AirPod record & dictation service. I love your app but since getting my AirPods I went back to using Apple recording app which I don't prefer but it works right away with AirPods. Also, I'd pay ala carte or view ads if I could send a file to get dictated to text and emailed back to me. I'm sure this exists but I want it in your app and would rather pay you so you can keep making this app better. Thank you for making this app.

Voice Record Pro “Freezing Up on me “. I’ve been using Voice Record Pro over a year now and the last few months when I’m recording or want to listen to recordings it just Freezes Up on me. It just keeps happening even when I force close the app and restart it, it keeps doing it ... Last night I tried it 6 different times and it locks up. I have the 3.4.8 Version. Can Support help with this problem ?

Great app. I use this app to record meditation scripts. It works great and has lots of functionality. One of the coolest things is the ability to export to several resources: oneDrive, iCloud, google drive and many more. Another cool function I found was when I recorded my script too fast but didn't want to read-record it. I just adjusted the playback speed to a slightly slower speed. Worked great. I am very happy I found it. Keep up the good work.

Cannot create stereo recording. I don’t know why this doesn’t work, but this app refuses to make stereo recordings. I’ve gone through all the settings and made sure I selected highest quality, stereo, etc., and every recording I make on this app and the Pro version come out in mono. My iPhone 11 Pro has stereo microphones and I have not had any issues making stereo recordings with other apps, such as Ferrite. I don’t know what I have to do to make this one work. I like the interface with the VU meters. Oh well, too bad. In the bin it goes.

I adore this app!!. I sing with 2 big Gospel choirs in Boston and I use this app to record our intense rehearsals. (Being an alto we don’t sing the melody you know so I need to record to study) I love that you can slow down the playback also! I love this app is so much that I have recommended it to all of my choir friends and most of them have downloaded it so that we can share files! It’s really awesome and I’m so grateful for it!.

Initially worked great and now, I’m not a fan. I downloaded this app a couple weeks ago to record my lectures for class. Initially I had no problem transferring the files from my watch to my phone and when transferred, the file was clear and without flaw. However, today after my lecture, I was monitoring the percentage of download/transfer of the file to my phone (approx one hour of recording) and when the file reached 100% transferred; the file was nowhere to be found. It isn’t on my watch, recently deleted section or on my phone. Very frustrating and would love feedback on how to fix this issue or possibly get my recording back.

Best app I’ve found. The convenience of recording your thoughts and ideas that are fleeting most of the time makes this app very valuable. Combined with being able to modify the dashboard and to have the information transferred to print at a touch of a button, chose formats, I hope this company thrives. The ease of use is a plus. Looking forward to seeing your new version or updates.

Great audio recording app. This app has great sound. It also has a db meter and easy to understand format. I highly recommend this app for recording sound effects as well. I actually managed to get an A in an audio class because of it. I would recommend getting a lavaliere though with an auxiliary end if you want to record sounds or voices a bit more clearly (just a little bit).

5 stars are not enough. This app is worth 10 stars and it’s totally free. It’s the best voice/memo app out hands down. And it’s so easy to share your over Facebook, just record the audio, share, and choose the skin of the player and your recording becomes a video that folks can listen to directly on Facebook. You can edit/trim, convert to different file forms or create a direct link. And the audio quality is crystal clear. So I give it 10 stars out of 5.

Probably the best recording app you can get. Great quality and doesn't use up too much space like other recording apps. The ads don't get in the way which is a great plus. I love the ability to add bookmarks and name them, and there's so much you can do in terms of exporting the file and such. I use this app to record radio programs that I take part in, and I wish I used this from the beginning!

easy 5 star app!. this app is outstanding. There are so many things you can do with your recordings. The only things i have to suggest is: 1. Apple Watch app Unfortunately, whenever the watch goes to sleep durring playback, it stops playing. However, great job on fixing the recording in background part, such a nice job. 2. lack of VoiceOver support I am a low vision user and I struggle to use some of the functions of the app. This includes sending the file to email, uploading to the cloud, converting files to mp3, and most of the menu options for the file. Also, the volume, boost, and playback sliders are semi-accessible. Anyway, keep up the great work! This app already stands apart from all other recording apps out there. It's like the needle in the haystack. Thank you!

Voice Record Praise. I have had this app for several years and it has served me well for doing single VoiceOver Recordings and audio auditions. I went looking for an app to splice multiple recordings for an audition combination but wasn’t having much luck. I went to my Voice Record app to double check and found that it would splice multiple tracks together. Wonderful discovery at a crucial time. I am even more impressed by this app now!! Cloud does not work. If you back it up, you select it, and then it uploads to iCloud, then after the process is done, it shows those files deselect it again, the worst part is that now different ones are highlighted, that is exactly what I am saying! Different ones become highlighted as uploaded! This means you do not know which ones are uploaded and which ones are not! Each time you try On Marks and marks files that you've uploaded before and on Marks other ones you didn't upload as of yet, as a result you have to check hundreds of your files letter by letter to see if it's up

Exceptional with room to improve on interface. The app works incredible. Best recording app I’ve ever bought over the last 10 years. My only complaint that I can really find right now is that I don’t like the 3-D buttons. They feel outdated. I know that’s just a preference thing, but the new flat clean style of apps today are my preference. Also it would be nice if there was an airdrop feature to share from one device to another. The Bluetooth sharing feature doesn’t seem to work properly between devices.

Very good app but send to Bluetooth not working. This is has been a very reliable and solid app dor the last years. However, I haven’t been able to send to Bluetooth since before version 3.6.7. According to the version history, version 3.6.7 supposedly included fixes for the send to Bluetooth feature where the devices are not discovered. I am now running the latest version (3.6.8) and the feature is still not working, which makes my workflow more convoluted, forcing me to upload to the cloud or send via email.

No way to directly contact the app creator.. I’m a little surprised that there’s no email address or contact for support except here. I bought the app Voice Record and I just realized you have a new one called Voice record 7 pro. Seems there’s no way to upgrade the previous app I bought from you with same functions except a few new ones you’ve added to this 7Pro unless I pay another $7 for this new one? So every time you add 2 new features and a new cool name, we have to pay full price of your app all over again? You might wanna rethink your pricing strategy.

If you just wanna pop down your iPhone and record some audio this is your app. I love this App for real. I wish I would’ve discovered it several years ago. At some point I’m going to pay to “upgrade“. As it is (as of this writing March 4, 2020) the only thing I would be accomplishing by upgrading is getting rid of the ads at the bottom that don’t bother me anyway. I want to buy it because they simply deserve it. This is a great program.

Overview of Voice Record Pro. I find that this app is brilliant to use because the audio is loud and clear. This is an app I have used since January 2016. There is one thing I would like to see changed in a future update to the app. I noticed that when I want to upload my recordings to iCloud, it doesn’t work as well as I would like it to. every time, I have to reset my phone because of an error message. Hopefully this problem can be fixed at some point. Thanks, James
