Beware / data usage. This app gets online to compile your program. They even tell you about the history of R without giving this important fact. And it is slow because of that.

Unreliable. "The program executed perfectly"....yet I don't see anything. Why create an app and make people pay for compilations like I did, just so it it can frustrate users with its unreliability. Thanks for taking the time to develop this neat looking app, but it's simply garbage if it doesn't function as it should.

Horrible. Should have read reviews before trying. Do not get. This is a waste of time and not free.

Better get an ssh client instead. This is ridiculous; pay per compile or pay to unlock unlimited compiles, which requires an internet connection? python, ipython, lua, LaTeX and others have been ported to iOS to compile and run natively. R is lagging seriously behind. Sadly, I don't think this is going to be the environment which results in it getting caught up.

Terrible. Hope you don't need this to actually run. You can enter code but God help you if you need it to do anything but sit there on the screen looking like code. Deleting today.

Can't draw graphic. Plot function will cause unable to start device PDF error

Bad app. Runs program and then nothing happens. I can't figure out how to export anything real...

Don't bother. Dont bother with downloading this misleading app. Free to download Asks for money when you actually want to use it. No Package installation support. This is very opposite to what R community stands for.

Good but needs some work.. I'm using R Language to tutor a student for Biostatistics, which uses R. Although the support is quick, this iPad version should be improved by a programmer who has professional knowledge of R. Many of the functions are creating errors when they shouldn't. I'm a little disappointed.

Too simple. A simple online version. Can not generate plots and can not install packages either.

Absolute Rubbish. I made a purchase with an absolute rubbish. You know x<-(1,2,3,4,5) x So simple R code can Not operated at all with this platform at all.

Graphics. Ok, but wondering if there will be graphics support - this is an essential when using R for the usual statistical analyses.

Misleading. This is not a free app. Can't do anything without a purchase. Uninstalled.

Awful documentation. Awful documentation on what R functionality is / is not available in app.

No graphics. R programmers expect the plot() function to plot graphics. If nothing else in R works, this ought to. But it doesn’t. To be fair, the App Store description says so, but I didn’t read that till afterwards, and never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that graphics would not be supported. I even spent a few bucks on unlimited compilations before discovering this to be the case.

Fraud. You can do almost nothing, but you dont discover this until you pay money. It wont run any code till you pay a fee.. No graphs, libraries, and apparently requires the internet to do anything which makes it slow. Apple should disallow this app.

Not for learning. Basically a book and then tries to charge you to try it on your own

Just don't.. The program is "free" where u don't pay for the program, but you need to buy compilations to run any commands.

Don't bother. This thing can't graph or run libraries and I need this to work for a class. I don't even know if I'm more mad at the app writer or just Apple in general. It always seems like Apple could care less about the iPad users who are actually trying to get work done. I blame myself for buying this stupid thing instead of a dell laptop where I can run R studio for a fraction of the price of a MacBook.

Compilations cost. You get zero builds with this version, so it is useless without paying. Unlimited is only $3, but I think this app is misleading. Even a few compilations are required to evaluate.

What is wrong for Build and Run. I write simple statement like set.seed(1). It returns error all the time, say scan() expect integer. I tried some other simple commands. It seems have bug. I paid $2.99 for online compilation.

Worst app I've ever paid. Totally agreed with the comment above. I tried to run the simplest 1+1, it takes ages to run, and in the end it gives an error, saying the request was delayed. I didn't know nothing will run until I pay the $2.99 fee, with the hope that it will compile and run. I sent App Store a "report a problem", hoping that I could get a refund. Will update if I do.

Compiler?. This program worked great last week, but now it doesn't work. I get a comment that says "please update application" when I try to use it. There is no update, and I bought the unlimited version for $2.99.

Does what it says. It runs code in R, but no graphics. Since R is often used primarily for its graphics, this is a huge limitation. I will be watching this app and encourage the creator to add this functionality.

Why bother?. You may get some reference value for basic R, but they want you to pay per compile/run. I can do that for free with less hassle most any other time: in fact an iPhone is a grossly inconvenient way to do/learn R. Why add to this cost. Try a minimal ad-paid model instead.

Sort of functions. Type in an R script, press "run" and (if you have paid $1 for 100 compiles or $3 for an unlimited number), your script will be uploaded to a server, run, and the results passed back. This might be enough to be useful if only it could open existing R scripts, for example, from DropBox. But it can't. And even if it could, it would be of limited use without the ability to lad your data files. Perhaps good to practise your R syntax.

refund. Hi i accidentally purchased the both 100 and unlimited. i only need 100 so can i get a refund on the unlimited one? also i bought a new phone(samsung) so i wanna use this app on my ipad. Can you move the 100compilations that i bought to ipad? i dont have an iphone anymore thx

Good App Support. I finally decided to pay and now keep on getting a weird files open error(Fatal error the limit on the number of open files is too low) ... Good thing is the App support is good and got a response in under 10 minutes

No instructions. I couldn't figure out how to input. I type and nothing happens. There's no help besides that relating to R itself.

Very minimal. Allows you to run r script 3 times, and then asks you to pay to continue. Was not able to see if it even had any packages built in, and the app is not like the command line type of R, it sends the command over the Internet and returns the result. It is not worth the time to install at this point.

Too few free compilation to evaluate. Sadly, I would appreciate more free compilations to try the app. 1-2 is cheap Sorry

Terrible. Nothing like R on windows or mac. Can only run one command at a time (you actually have to delete the old one to run another one) and needs an internet connection. Slow after you download unlimited. This is the first app I've ever rated, but it was so bad that I needed to tell people.
