Great App. App works great when working in the field with end users. Simple functions like unlocking an account or checking a device name really helps in tight binds. Recently I reached out the developers regarding dark mode bugs and shortly after, all resolved! Thank you.

Holy sh I.T.. I've only used this app for about 30 minutes, but I paid for the unlimited access right after 5 minutes. Manage users, groups, account settings, etc. It's your DC at your hands. I used to have to log in to a website to reset passwords. This is an instant time saver. Thank you for the awesome app!!

APP no longer works.... allow you to sign in but won’t search anything. No longer works

IT Tech asset. Does what I need.. With active directory there is a bunch of things that can go wrong or need updated on the fly. This allows me to look up users on the AD side and check or make changes if needed. This app gets 5 stars in my book, had not let me down and the developer is pretty good a getting updates out there.

Don’t purchase unlimited. You get absolutely nothing extra with the purchase. I’ve already requested my refund.

Doesn't work for me anymore. My need for this app is infrequent, but I discovered almost a year ago that I could no longer change passwords on our network, likely after an app update at some point. I worked with the developers but no resolution was found. We have a 100,000+ object AD environment, of which I have access to a handful of OU's. I have all the rights I need to admin accounts via ADU&C on the desktop, and I am fairly certain our entire enterprise isn't some way 'broken'. The developers insist the app is fine, but I would definitely be cautious when considering the purchase. The app obviously does NOT work under some condition(s).

Keep up the good work!. Managing users and groups on the go is a breeze with this great app. Worst thing I can say about it is that the splash screen is a bit dated. But nitpicking aside, it's well worth the paid upgrade. Keep the updates coming, guys!

Can’t reset passwords. I want to like this app, but I bought this to reset passwords and it just throws back an error to contact support. Would be worth the price if that feature worked.

Handy App!. This app has been really handy for unlocking accounts and changing passwords on accounts when I'm not at a workstation. I use it almost everyday! It definitely has saved myself a great deal of time. I only gave it 4 stars because of the lack of updates over the past year I've had it. I would like to see some feature changes such as the ability to reset a password and force the user to change it when logging in.

Fantastic. Absolutely the slickest app for those running Active Directory. I use this app EVERY DAY. Lets me do very common tasks from my iOS device so I don't have to run back to my desk or carry a laptop around all the time. Things I do often with this app: -see ALL locked out accounts at once -unlock locked accounts -reset passwords -disable accounts -look up / search for computers & users -move a user into a certain OU (could use improvement, but works just fine otherwise) I can do this all on my company LAN or switch on my SSL VPN app and then open this app to do everything I just listed Big thanks to the developers!!!

Great app, worth the money, would like more features in future.... Essential app for anyone that administers AD for an organization and isn’t tied to a desk. Well worth the money for full version, especially where we use a Radius server and you can modify the dial in values. Features I’d really like to see added: 1) Read and search for Bitlocker keys in computer objects whose orgs store them in AD. 2) Read and modify advanced AD Attributes, like OtherPager, etc. 3) Compare group membership between two user accounts. 4) Set owner on computer objects 5) Modify description on computer objects

Does Everything You Need!. Can manipulate, add, remove AD objects. If this app can't do it, you probably wouldn't want to do it from an iPhone anyway. Just buy it! You won't regret it.

If you manage user in ADUC this is for you. A very useful app. When teachers come back to school after the summer break, I just hand them my phone so they can reset their forgotten password. To relocate a computer physically is easy. To move it and also chafe the OU it's located in at the same time, super. Offsite and able to VPN back to the network and manage users and computers just as I was sitting at my desk, priceless.

Works, but so crude.. 1. Cannot list, just search. 2. Cannot export/copy/share search results. 3. Cannot do (AFAIK) custom LDAP search. As an AD management tool, it takes the crude feature set of the XP-era AD tools, and implements only a minimalist subset of them.

Can't turn off emails. Honestly, I love this app. But the new version makes it mandatory that an email is generated with the user's password in plain text! Huge security risk. Can't find a toggle to turn it off!

Basic / Can’t Upgrade. Helps for basic things. Couldn’t upgrade to unlimited. Received error when trying.

Bought Unlimited but not really unlimited. I bought the unlimited version to unlocked users that do not belong to admin group and run instant report thru the phone app. But whenever I try to run any of the instant report, it kept asking to buy the Unlimited version. I tried contacting support but can’t reach them. I just wish the unlimited version that claimed could actually works to people who bought it. 😬

I am a helpdesk technician and use this everyday. Great app to reset passwords, change account groups, and manage our internal active directory.

Don’t buy the Unlimited. If you think it will unlock the advanced reports- and the developer website is nonfunctional. Apple, how to get a refund?

Crashes. Latest update causes the app to crash on ios 13.1 beta

System Admin. Awesome: I used first app to manage AD. The features are very simple worked. After using couple of days I can say that this look to be solid tools. I see the ability to add/ delete users.

Do NOT give money. Purchased unlimited reports. Every time I try to click on a report I am told I need to buy it. Restore purchase does not work, when I try to buy unlimited, I am told I already bought it and to load for free. Which also doesn’t work. So, I got scammed, Paid $’s and get nothing.

Using iphone 6plus with VPN. I get more info using this app than on my regular desktop. It works great when I'm at a stop light and can update someone's password on the fly! Sending my love!

Only works on WiFi. I like this app for the most part. Unfortunately, it will not connect when I am on cellular and signed in to my VPN. If I am on WiFi and logged into our VPN I have no problem getting in. I need this app to work on and off of WiFi.

CRASHES!. Total train wreck...paid for subscription and I got absolutely nothing...and no refund. Beware. #aNoGo!

Great App!. I'm a Network Admin and this app is handy when I'm away from a PC and need to reset a password or disable an account.

Great app. Connect in via VPN and you are good to go. Quick and easy to unlock accounts and reset passwords from anywhere.

Broken app. This was great but since iOS 13 this app sits at the sign in screen and won’t let me sign in on my iPhone 6S. On my friends iPhone 7 Plus the app works fine. I’ve tried the old uninstall reinstall trick multiple times.

System admin best friend. It's simple and it works. As long as I am connected I can deal with basic issues right when they bug me in the middle of my lunch :)

Best iOS Active Directory Tool. I worked in IT for four years, and this was the best app out there. Easy to navigate menus, effective, and quick. Going to miss how easy this made my life.

Absolutely Amazing. So thrilled there is a app like this for iPad to help me with my everyday admin activities. Very handy. Tried it at work and home and works flawless.

Makes you pay for it in app. If you want simple abilities to unlock accounts or resetting passwords then this is not for you because it is $4.99 to do that. AD Helpdesk Lite is free and let's you do that while you are in your corporate network or on VPN. Do not waste your time with AD assist.

Gets you in quick!. Great app for quick AD access! We change passwords frequently and users lock themselves out all the time. It is so much easier than having to remote in to your desktop or servers. Plus, I can disable terminated employees on the fly.

Could have been. Very disappointed. I purchased unlimited but cannot view reports. I am disappointed that I cannot create users from this app. The app also continues to crash on me. I wish this worked like advertised but no.

Don't bother. Shows some potential, but you have to match a query to show any objects which makes it virtually useless considering that once you find the user you're looking for, there isn't really that much you can do with it.

Please help. I’m finding out that my super tech savvy ex-partner was using our home WiFi network to greatly violate my privacy. This app was already downloaded on my iPhone (but I never downloaded it), ... among other ways of seeing if they still are spying on me, is there a way to verify/deactivate their permissions over me? Awesome Product. Love this tool, it saves me a ton of time being able to address AD issues on the spot instead of going back to my desk to do it. Would love to have Touch ID added.

An Awesome App.. I am helpdesk admin and works 24/7. Today I was in a doctor's waiting room ,when I received a call from user to unlock her account. As always it was super urgent. Fortunately I had read about an AD app just a few days ago. Found this app on the app store, and in minutes I got access to my AD. Unlocking the account was a breeze. Typed in her partial name and I was right there. It showed that Account was locked. Tapped on the Action menu - Unlock Account. Done. Made my Day!!!!! Speed was awesome. I am impressed, but mind you, the user was more impressed, and a bit shocked and confused too. Then I started looking onto other features, and just loved the report, real icing on the cake. Unlocked account report showed couple of more accounts locked out. Unlocked them immediately. A great tool and a must for IT ToolBox. Now I can relax in the doctor's office due to this absolute Godsend app. Well made and recommended.

Great app!. I must say it is one of the best apps for AD .User friendly . Compared to some other apps the hitch cost a lot this is far better and gets the job done .

Reset Passwords. Can’t change user’s password from app. Constantly get error message saying password doesn’t meet group policy complexity rules but I know for a fact the reset password is complex. Other than that, everything else seems to work.

Fix one thing please. I love this app it is very handy in every way. But can you please change the view on expired passwords please? It should list expired users in decending order or let you sort the criteria. Also it would be great if you added a field that showed the expiration date right next to the names so I don't have to click them at all. Please ?

Great free App. Just downloaded and run this app on a Education Queensland Computer Network on my iPad. Entered my Administrator Username/Password and my DC. I was then able to search for users , groups, add users to groups, and most importantly CHANGE PASSWORDS! Great tool. To be able to activate VPN, open this app and unlock an account in AD without needing a computer is amazing. Saves a ton of hassle on weekends when people forget passwords and lock themselves out.

Sys admin. Excellent straight forward app.

No support for modern features and stuck in 2008. Dev don’t answer to simple bug fixing nor bother planning a future. Secure domain, those with integration with Azure directory can’t reset password on premise, don’t show BitLocker key, can’t manage multiple domains. They are stuck in the past. Look elsewhere.

Works great - so many features on the go!. I’ve been using the app for a few years. It works great. Wish MS had the ability to make something similar. Their admin apps don’t even have the basic features.

Horrible connect times. In the time it takes for this app to authenticate and reset a password, I can walk to the other end of my facilities, grab my computer, walk back, connect with ARD, reset the password, logout and walk back. I have tried it. I does do what is advertised though. Just slower than you can image.

Restore Purchases does not work!. I had purchased the AD Assist Unlimited version on a previous device — I have upgraded my iPad to the latest from Apple, but am now locked out of the Unlimited version — Restore Purchases does not work, and I have no option to repurchase the software again on the new iPad. Will adjust my review once the developer fixes this.

24 hrs no response in app purchase wont give license. This is a really useful application. I decided to purchase the unlimited option since I wanted to support the developer & use the invoicing option. After making the purchase it says activated thanks for the purchase etc... however, every time I try to pick a report to run it loops back to the purchase this for $12.99. Ive signed out of the app, signed back in , rebooted, deleted app, rebooted, downloaded app, picked restore license same purchase loop. Sent two emails and no response. Please assist. Also what’s the difference with this app and ad assistant pro after making the unlimited purchase?

Broken under dark mode. iOS 13 dark mode does not work with this version, you have to switch modes to see the login screen.

Seems useful, but.... Seems useful, but I can’t bring myself to pay for an app that hasn’t been upgraded in 8 months, and doesn’t have support for iPhone X screens. I know the screen thing is trivial, but not updating an app that costs $13.00 in 8 months makes me nervous.

Clicking on Users or Groups doesn't load the whole list you have to search for your entry. That's fine but can you make it so if you put a period or asterisk symbol it pulls up the whole list of entries. Thanks.

This is a will have!!!!. Update 9/19 Stopped working again. UPDATE 9/18/19 I love this app. It is a life saver for working with locked out users. There was an issue (see previous review) that was quickly resolved. 9/17/19 Was working great until the latest update. Now broke. Dark mode does not work well. Crashes when trying to log in.

Does not look through AD. It only looks at the generic user and computer OU. No way to see full AD tree.

Password reset doesn’t work. In AD we have to confirm the passwords with typing the password twice, assuming whatever code this app is, isn’t allowing it. So it tells me it can’t change the password due to complexity or rules of password. However I’m hitting all the correct Length and requirements of our server.

Amazingly Clean and Simple!. I just downloaded this app this morning and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and easy it was to use! I wish there was a way to see how the "add users" feature worked without buying it first (like a trial) , but based on what I've seen I think I will be purchasing the "unlimited version" soon! Thanks for making a great app. This saves my butt when I need to reset a password while out of the office or between one of my eight sites!

Bugs that need squashing. Need to be able to see username in dark mode. When I try to restore previous purchases of the Ultimate version it continues to tell me I need to upgrade to use the reports. Although, these couple of bugs need attention. The app has otherwise been extremely useful.

Handy little tool for remote AD management.. The users I support, like most I suppose, seem to always lock themselves out, forget their password, or even their username, on nights, weekends and holidays when our help desk is closed. This dandy little app lets me quickly reset a password and/or unlock an account in a flash, without having to dig out my laptop, connect to my phone hotspot, connect to a VPN, and so forth. It has already saved me countless hours.
