Please Fix This. I really am surprised, I still own the one on my iPod, but knowing that it will reset, I am upset. I have loved all of your games, but this, this is weird. You know, you should try to do your best to fix it. I still have cartoon wars 2, my favorite, but I want to play the first one too.

Great game - bad at saving. This game to me looked like it had great potential...many players will love your game more if you will just plz fix the save button ... Now I know from the looks of it the last update was 3 years ago ...what happened? This game could really go far if more time was put into it ...but I guess what do I know ..I'm just a programmer who is making his own games ...take my advice if you ever read this ...your game can go far just work on it

Fix the save please. You know that a lot of people have been complaining about the save feature and the game would be a lot better if you can fix it. This game is amazing but the save feature ruined it. If you are listening, please read this and other peoples comments because they would like to enjoy the game without having to start over every single time. Please fix this bug so we can enjoy it again. I am sorry but for now I have to give it a 1 star till they fix this bug. Once you fix this bug I'll give it a 5 star. Please fix this bug.

Fix this please.. The game itself is great. It's very entertaining and will keep you interested for a very long time. However, right now it won't let you save. For this game to be VERY fun you have to play it for days to unlock the better stuff. Right now, you'd have to be ready to play for hours to get anywhere close to unlocking the top troops, much less upgrade them. It's a one star right now, but once it gets fixed it will be a five star game.

Where's the save?. This used to be a great game, but after picking it back up, I found my save to be gone. I figured this was a result of a recent update, so I start ove. Now, I find that even though I choose to save my current game. apparently nothing gets saved. What's up with that? Unacceptable that an issue like this has gone over a year without being fixed!

Doesn't save?!?!. I enjoy this game, but the save feature isn't working. I save it says that the game has been saved, but if I leave and come back, I hit the continue button but it starts me off a new game were I have to start over. Please fix this problem, I had so much upgraded and now it's all gone.

No save ＝ garbage. Way back I played this on my phone. Decided to give it a whirl on my iPad. First problem I noticed was fuzzy graphics. HD? Nope. HD is not fuzzy, this is fuzzy, therefore this is not HD. Second, and larger and major and huge problem is the non-save. Unlike some reviewers that updated the iOS or the app or closed it altogether, I didn't do any of that. I simply pressed the home button. Going back to the game shows a full reset. I will not play this again until I see an app update.

Cartoon Wars. This game is amazing. It can be played forever without getting tired of it. There is nothing wrong with the game play. The only problem is the saving. I can't save my progress. I made it all the way to stage 31 then pressed the save button. When I came later to pick up where I left off, I was surprised when I saw that I had to start over. Personally, I love the game. I just want to save my progress. Please fix the save problem Gamevil.

RIDICULOUS!. I love Cartoon Wars, but this game blows. Everything is good and fine. It's just the SAVE feature is stupid and doesn't work properly. I was on Level 35 and today I play again and hit 'Continue' and I'm back at Level 1..

It erased everything I had! Wasted 10$. I played this game for two days and I spent about 10$ on gold to give me a boost. This game deserves all 5 stars but I can't rate it that high because of it deleting everything. I was at level 20 and saved after every level and now all of a sudden I'm back at level one and all that I had is lost! I loved this game, please help or atleast give back the money I spent....please..

My favorite game but..... This was my favorite game. I didn't see any flaws, but stopped playing for a year before downloading the updated version. I got to round 25, saved it, and then went to the menu to discover it completely restarted to level one. Totally bummed, and the other negative reviews seem to indicate I'm not alone! Fix it!

Its good....but............ Great game to pass and lose time. The only thing is that you should never update it or close the app. if you do either you WILL have to start all over from level one. I, along with many others learned this the hard way

Saving doesn't work. I wanted to play this game on my phone but it kept crashing on it, so I got it on the iPad. It worked perfectly fine until I found out all my data was erased. Though it doesn't save, it's a great game. Hope the next update will fix this problem

Start all over again. Ok I put a hard work into it then I was able to buy everything and then I just log in then it's start all over from lvl 1 my hard work is all gone this is a ridiculous.....

Fun but dosent even save when u tap save game :(. Very fun game but dosent even save when u tap save game... Once i got all the way to round 38 and i hit save game then i came back later and it didn't save any of my progress... its really frustrating :(

Are you doing your job?. Like the title says are you even doing your job out of all your games this one is the most fun to me but it always resets. I see all the complaints here but nothing is being done and it's been a while don't you care about your players? It just goes to show how much effort you are putting into fixing this problem fix this so everyone can play save and be happy. Thank you even though you probably won't even read this or care about a players response...

Cartoon Wars. The game isn't that bad its the update that was terrible. I had and deleted this game because the game reset me from lvl 40 because of the new update. What the hell! The game itself is fun and can be played for a long time without growing tired of it. The gameplay is nice and graphics look good as well. You will eventually have to farm the previous levels or make IAP to continue but it didn't really affect the game that much for me. I'd give it 4 of 5 but because of the update it truly lowered my opinion of the studio and game. If you're getting it for the first time then enjoy its a good game, all the bad ratings are because of the horrendous update that wipes saves, hopefully it gets fixed soon, maybe then I'll care again.

Please fix!. I love this game so much! This game is the best to me. I don't even care that it isn't really HD. The reason why there aren't five stars is because of the saving issue. I made it to level five, then saved and went to go check the settings. I hit continue and my progress was gone! I was frustrated because I used to be able to save no problem. This is really disheartening, and I hope you can fix this soon!

FIX THIS NOW!!!!. This app used to be good until the bug deleted all your data. I redownloaded this app after 2 years and I was extremely disappointed when I lost everything after I started playing. If you really cared about your customers you would have fix 6 months ago.

Game deletes all progress. I like the game but every time I go to the menu it deletes all progress. Update: This game has made my children cry twice. Save game just doesn't work. If you drop the game from memory you lose all progress. If you update the iOS you lose all progress. If you re-install you lose all progress. If you update the game you lose all progress. If you go to the main menu you lose all progress. For a game based on massive numbers of upgrades, losing all progress is absolutely unexceptable.

Hate FORCED starting new? THEN DON'T DL THIS GAME!!!. This is actually a really great game, can play for hours and won't get bored. Great graphics and no glitches.... except it NEVER SAVES! So no matter what level u get to, when u exit out and come back u start from zero again. When u tap on "new game" it asks if ur sure u wanna start over cause u have game saved. So u tap on continue, and u STILL start from ZERO!! If they fix that then I will be the first person to re-download and happily change my review and play everyday!

Get a different version you complainers!!!!!. So, the last update was 3 years ago just about. But they have moved on to better CW games, so you can't expect the save problem to BE fixed. The SAME game of this is also made by the author named BLUE. Downloadable on iPad iPhone etc. Get it on iPhone only category on iPad. That version of this game actually saves, you don't use the red gems, and it's not HD BUT it's good enough! That version might also be 0.99 but it actually saves so be happy. Thank you developers for great cartoon wars games. We all respect what's going on that causes you not to update this.

Doesn't save. I've played the game before awhile back and I loved it so I decided to get it again. Only difference is the game doesn't save the progress so there's not really any point in playing the game if you can't advance in the game. If you could save I'd give it 5 stars, until then it only gets one from me.

The Game Is Now Broken. Every time i open the game after re-downloading on my ipad, it keeps saying warning the app will slow down my ipad, along with a warning pop up that says "Unlawful Activity Modifying Program Information Will Result In Legal Prosecution. Please Delete The Program And Try Again." I have been deleting and reinstalling and it doesn't stop telling me that. The game is now broken and no longer playable.

Bad. The game was good but you couldn't really upgrade anything and you got so little during a fight and on level 4 you only have warriors and ninjas and a ax wielding guy comes instantly you can't even buy any resources to help you Even if you could you would have to buy them to win

Beware...... Game is good like everyone is saying. Game resets to level one like everyone is saying. Be aware...if you make an in app purchase, everything you bought and/or up graded DISAPPEARS! Instead of purchasing anything on this game....take your money, throw it in the toilet....then flush it. You will get the same result. That being said...I will never again do a Gamevil game....it is simple robbery.. That is not a metaphor...it is a fact.

Either update this game or put Cartoon wars 2 back in store. I admit that I fell in love with this game when I first played it but I couldn't get on due to no internet connection so please fix this problem and the rest of the fans problems if you do it I will 3 star it but if you don't I respect your decision but at least put CW2 and gunner back in the App Store and make CW2 free if you do because I already paid for it and had to delete it due to storage space also please add your older games. Fix the save button!!!!!!!. Hey I like the game and all but the thing that makes this game one of my least favorite ha,Es is that YOU CAN NOT SAVE CORRECTLY. when I quit a match to go to the main menu, I have already saved it up to stage 30 and when I press continue, I started back a stage 1!! Fix the save problem!!. I thoroughly enjoy this game but refuse to play it until they fix the problem of the game not saving. You could play for a half an hour and get to level 15, hit the save button go to the main menu and the try to immediately get back into your game but all of your progress will have been lost.

Save does not work. All of it is in the title, I played for hours, saved the game, and when I restarted the game, selected continue, and I had restart everything. I will keep this a one star rating until this glitch is fixed. The game is really good, but I have no sense if playing it if I have to restart each time.

Best Update. This was the absolute BEST update, you don't even need to reset your progress, it resets for you! Saving progress? Not a chance! Updates? You kidding me?! Gameplay? Can't even! It's a good game, but your progress WILL be reset anytime it crashes or you close and open it, or if you go to the menu, saving progress does nothing and auto save is corrupted. Play for a few hours then trash it.

Great game but needs fix. Awesome game overall, but the most recent update broke the saving mechanic, causing all progress to be lost when you exit. Still would like a fix or reversion after 3 years as its better than the more recent "cartoon wars 3" by gamevil.

Not too happy.. Downloaded this game, made a purchase, saved my game properly. But next time i went to play it there was no save data in any of the slots. So i was unable to use any of the gems, or coins, or upgrades that i purchased. Then i went to contact them for a refund and they want you to jump through 100 hoops just to be able to send them an email. So i suppose ill just eat the $5 i wasted

What Happened!!. I was playing this game, and I really liked it. I closed the app to play another game( please note that I ALWAYS save twice after each level and upgrade). But when I came back to continue my process, EVERYTHING was deleted, and from level 23 I dropped down to level 1! This happened twice, and both times, I deleted it! Why have a game that you can't close without having your progress being deleted? Please fix!

Good, but how about CW2 on Apple platforms. The game is incredible, but can we get Cartoon Wars 2 on platforms made by Apple¿ And yes, for people who are reading this, yes, there is a Cartoon War 2, but only on other mobile platforms.

Still haven't fixed the save. I used to play this game and loved it, but after ~50 levels it reset me to level 1. Gave it about a year and figured that surely in the interim the bug would have been fixed. Silly me. Unless you want to play the first 10 levels again for eternity you should avoid this game.

Great but. Ok this game is fun but there's a problem with it. Each time I exit the game, I have to start all over again. The save button doesn't even work because I save like fifty times before and then I exit, and when I get back in and say continue I have to start all over again!!!! So I deleted the game. Awesome Game! Except one thing..... Fantastic game, fun, cool, addictive. Just the one glitch where it doesn't allow you to save. Fix that glitch and I would pay $10 for the game and $20 more in game. But it doesn't save so.... Seems pretty useless. I know that all the other reviews are the same, but I just want to put in my opinion, just so you have one more reason to update it .

Fun game stupid update. Huge Problem. When I boot up the game a notification came up saying I was modifying game information. This might be because I played it ages ago, deleted it and recently downloaded it and the old saves are a problem? No idea, but that's what has happened to me on other games. Nevertheless, I can't play this game anymore and it's a pretty good game. Last time I played, save files didn't work either and the game requires a good amount of grinding, making it almost impossible to play properly since you can't save and the amount of time required to get far is sizeable. A lot of problems, but the game WAS fun.

BEST GAME EVER!!!but still need fixing. HD??. How is this game HD at all? It is basically a re-formatted version of the popular iphone app, with 4x lower resolution. Other than this, gameplay is the same :P

Simple yet challenging. Simple cartoon animations make for a fun pen and paper like feel and it's good that you can advance and buy new units without having to spend actual money. A nice little time waster

Great Game, But One Fault. Look, I love this game, and to anyone reading this, you should get it. It's fun, challenging but not impossible and just an all around great game. The one fault though, and I'm sure many people have said this, is that the save feature doesn't work. When you save your game, it will just delete your progress and make you go from Stage 1 all over again. To GAMEVIL USA I say please, please fix this. Awful dreadful update. I played the original long time ago on my iphone. It was great. This iPad version however is bad... It does not save your progress.. This game consists of 100 plus stages and the save progress is essential. The button is there but its not working. Do not buy or update until they fix this. And to the app developers, shame on you for not testing the game or fixing it after many complaints. ZERO STARS

Save help. I know the save button doesn't work but to keep progress DON'T CLOSE THE APP like you can press the home button and do whatever and when you head back in you will be were you were before just make sure not to double tap the home button and flick the game up the app will stop and all progress will be deleted

DON'T GET THIS GAME!!!!!. I spent $1.49 to get this game and I boot it up. It say that I was doing unlawful stuff? Delete the game and try again and that's exactly what I did. But it said that again! But I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it 3 more times and it's not working. If you either have a solution or have fixed it I will change my review.

Not bad - resolution problem. This game seems solid by design BUT it doesn't seem to do anything new. Also, the HD in the title is extremely misleading. I don't know what their standards are for HD, but if it looks the same as an iPhone game on 2x but doesn't require me to tap on '2x' for it to take up the whole screen, it's not REALLY HD. It isn't terrible, but it leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Fatal Flaw. Great game, it's easy to learn, very simplistic, and isn't too challenging at the same time.. ...but it doesn't save. This makes the game utter rubbish. Would stay away from this, unless you wanna see how far you can get in x time or some challenge like that.

Why. This game it's good but I got to like level 20 saved it then I get of and the next day it's at level 1 again so then I got to level 20 again thinking I did not save but then I get off and I saved it but then geuse what I'm at level 1 again please fix this.

Worst update ever!. This was a great until the last update now it starts back at level one every time you start the game. It will not save your progress, so if you plan on leaving it on for ever it is a great game. Fix it and I'll change it back to four stars. PLEASE FIX THIS GAME!!!!

Issue that NEEDS TO BE FIXED. The game is a great game! But the save button doesn't work, I had like 5hrs worth of game time continuous then when I closed the game, all the progress goes away! I had gotten to stage 15! An update NEEDS to come out and SOON! Very disappointing how an amazing game can be ruined.

Wish I'd known about the save issue.. I've loved this game since it came out. I didn't read the reviews for it because i knew it was a great game. Imagine my surprise when it deleted my game, and I had a few micro transactions. One star purely based on losing that money for no good reason.

Annoying!. Game restarted to level one after the update, and still restarts after I stop playing for any length of time. Tried the save button but it obviously doesn't work the way it is supposed to.

Was a great game. I have played this game years ago on the iPhone. I recently downloaded it for the iPad and played through 50+ levels and when I went back after a couple days, all my progress was gone.

Decent but saving feature kills it. I spent about 6 hours playing this game during this week. It was "fun" - but don't get this game. The save feature is broken. I had been saving it regularly. As soon as I closed the app and reopened it, the save game was gone! I am very disappointed in the developer.

Saved data problem. I got up to stage 12 and saved it and when I got back on it,it made me start all over again with no more coins or gems.

Why can't I play this anymore?. Whenever I try to get on to play it brings up a message saying "Warning: unlawful activity"...

Great game... BUT.... I think you deserve more stars, but the saving issue is a big problem, I want to make emphasis that the one star has nothing to do with the game play or the fact that is not really HD, just in my case the inability to save my progress. Please fix this issue.

Doesn't save.. Cartoon Wars is a fun game but even when I save it when I go back into the game my progress was erased. So that is why I am giving it a one star. If they fixed the save problem I would continue playing the game but I am deleting it for now.

Makes no sense. Here is the deal. DO NOT put a save feature if you cannot ever load.... DUH. just leave it out so people know they have to start COMPLETELY over EVERY TIME they play. Great game if you don't stop playing. The game itself is awesome! The reason for the 1 star is because after you play you can't save. The next time you open the game you have to start from the beginning! Fix that then five stars will rain down. Lol

Update?!? No!. I was having a lot of fun with the game. This morning I just maxed out the levels of all the fighters and was on level 162 when I saw there was an update. Did the update and it restarted me at zero... It was ok but not good enough to replay. Delete it and avoid the frustration....

Was a good game. Before updating I was level 56 on medium. It erased all my saved games. Now it won't save at all. Even pressing "save game" Has no effect on restart. I've played round 1 about 10 times now and I'm done playing

Fix!. This is a really great game but I was on level 16 and I pressed save a bunch of times to make sure it was saved but when I exited and came back and pressed continue it started me on level 1 again! Please fix!

Good, but doesn't work. Just like the other reviews, the same thing happened to me. The game deleted my progress twice, even after I deleted it and downloaded again...so I got mad and will not play anymore because this is a simple error that could easily be repaired.
