SEEK Jobs Search & Employment Comments & Reviews 2026
Great app!. Terrific app!
Minimum ios downloadable. Hello i had this app on my iphone 6 recently i wanted to used the app for seeking job but unfortunately it's says it doesn't work on your ios , and needs minimum ios 14, recently Apple doesn't release any update for this phone and the last update was 12.5.7 would i possibly ask you to put the minimum ios download for the app on ios 12 if possible ? Thanks
Best!. The best seek-for-job app in Australia and New Zealand!
Smooth. I loved the app, its very friendly with iOS.
Job search gem!. I have been actively using the Seek app for over a month now, and have to say it is highly functional and glitch-fee. Very intuitive to use. I highly recommend.
Tipu Sultan. I am loving it and hoping will be soon get Job opportunity through SEEK apps. Very Good Luck!!!
SEEK Application review. It’s great and useful application to track and find a good job!
Good app. Really helpfull
App. Good
Location. Won’t let me use my location and puts me across the world
Easy and quick. It's very easy one stop app for job hunting.. Recommend to people who doesn't want to take so much time on that. You can check it out while you are on bus or lunch break and just click it for quick apply. But your cv must be updated one.. Good luck everyone!!
Ease and simple. Very simple
Great app. Easy to use
Perfect. Amaizing
Waste of time. I got none of the job interviews or results from my application. Such a disappointing experience. As an Asian in Wellington now, I don’t recommend this App or any job website. They don’t accept anyone unless you have a someone internal know you.
Fake job portal. Fake job portal
Great job app. This app has a wide array of jobs and a very easy way to search and apply for jobs!
Review. The best platform for job search
Easy to use app. Very clean and easy to use app, loved it!
Thanks. Very nice for me
Intuitive design. Makes looking for a decent job less time consuming.
Job withdraws. No happy with Government withdrawal positions
Best Job App for AU. Easy to use and works well in tandem with the website.
Good for searches. This app is great for job searches, but fails with regard to applying for jobs. Despite being signed in, the app does not use my stored details nor will it allow me to attach the resume I uploaded to the website when applying for a job. Unless I'm missing something
Sort by date be default n saved search. App is great , n now can apply directly via it. The next enhancement that I will look forward will be the saved search results should give feature to sort by date default or I can set it n save it. The relevance doesn't seem fruitful.
Best career finding assistance. I love the flow and User experience
Good but needs more functionality. Other wise it is better to use the actual website, no having the ability to upload resume and cover letter is a inconvenience
hello. I am energetic person in work
Mr. Easy to use with an intuitive interface
Great app. Easy to use
Excellent and smooth!. Good for ios and very easily manageable!
Hazem. Excited app
👎👎. Two thumbs down. The app looks pretty but when you download it you realize all it is is pretty. Right when I downloaded the app the location option were ridiculous and helpless. I deleted the app within 4 min. I do not recommend this app don't waste Ur time.
The App is Fine. The app is fine, easy to use. But what I didn't know was that this app is from and based out of Australia. I live in America, so this isn't terribly useful now as a part-time student who is unable to move out of the country. I enjoy this app though, and maybe one day.
Adminkhan. I liked this app, quite usefull
Cool job app. Wonderful
Rana. The most amazing apps I have ever tried......
Truck Driver/ machine operator. I love SEEK AU, though I haven’t getting any sponsorship job yet. But I have had a lot of companies contacting me, because they thought I am in Australia. Unfortunately I’m in Ghana in the West of Africa. As a machine operator and a truck driver, I believe strongly I will surely get a job. I pray SEEK AU, will bless me with a sponsorship job which is suitable to my qualifications and knowledge. Thank you.
Used to be good. Now 8 out of 10 times when I try to search, I get an error "Houston we have a problem". I can't fathom how an app can get worse with updates. Seriously, don't you have a robust QA and testing process in place?
Not for US residents. It wasn't until I registered for the app did I realize this app is only for Australians or New Zealanders. Even then, it's a dead zone.
great app. thanks. useful app for me.
Nice. Nice
Fake Aaplication. I have over 15 years of experience and have been using this application since I downloaded it four years ago, and it’s the most ridiculously fake application I’ve ever come across.
Great Resource. Easy to use, great way to find a job in Australia or New Zealand!
The best of the best. The job searching app
Dr. Excellent app To search for job
Waste of time. Don't even waste your space or time on it if you live anywhere but Australia/New Zealand.
Nice app for job seekers. A lot of features that help to find appropriate job
Location problems. Won’t let me put my location for my area. I guess where I live doesn’t exist to them.
Poor search results. Search results are highly inaccurate. If you search for a particular job it will pull jobs that aren’t remotely related. It’s frustrating and time consuming to use Seek.

Good app. I must admit this is the best out of the job searching apps in Australia. The UI is easy and uploading documents works every time. The only thing I dislike (a lot) is the salary brackets. $80,000-$100,000 is SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE and fair to say someone looking in the realm of $100k doesn’t want to be shown jobs that are $81k. This actually just makes for a delayed process that whenever I am contacted by a recruiter or company, I first have to ask what the salary is so I’m not wasting either of our time. Would just be a nicer experience all round if this app had a more realistic salary bracket to do the ‘awkward asking’ for me.
Something is badly wrong with the algo. It’s kinda boggling to me that in this day and age, you can’t tailor your Seek searches to the degree needed or give feedback in app. I’m still consistently sent inappropriate jobs, outside my sector or interest field, despite having my searches tuned as much as possible. I’m talking looking for perm roles in Tech as Head of XYZ and $150K+ and being served temp junior roles in Health care, all because they mention the same keyword in the title. There’s no way to hide these erroneous results, or give feedback that they’re off the mark. Please, get the search functionality better. If I do/don’t want a role in X sector, allow me to have that as part of my search parameters. Give me a way to tell you you’re getting it wrong when it’s wrong, and right when it’s right.
Needs to filter out applied jobs. Once a user has applied for a particular job the same is available in the activity section of the app. However when the user searches for the same category the entire list of jobs including the ones which are applied get populated in the search. Either only the new/not applied jobs should be shown or there should be a filter provided to view only the new/not applied jobs. This will help the user to focus on the desired list and not end up wasting time in scrolling all applied jobs.
Happy person. I had trouble looking for jobs, Seek makes it easy for me, because I was frustrated, angry just tired of trying to look up a job, a job I wanted, not were other people think I want that job, I want a job, we’re I get up, and can’t wait to get to work. Even filling out a applications I feel good about myself.. Thank Seek - ✌️👍
Not enough choice. Removing the ability to search by multiple regions within a State was disingenuous and renders the app as little use to me. Luckily it remembered the saved searches I already had set up in that way, but unfortunately I’m unable to create new ones. The Developers feedback to me was that the feature wasn’t used by the majority of workers. This makes sense, since most Australians only look for jobs in the capital cities. I, however, am only interested in work that is not in the capital cities, so it would appear that Seek have no interest in people like me, which is disappointing.
No option for radius from search location. The one feature I find useful which still makes me use the web browser. On the app you can only search for exact location or it auto searches on the maximum radius which is quite far from the location you use. Other than this it works fine and is easy to search and apply as usual apart from this
Updates are harder to use and navigate. The searches saved used to have “new to you” and it would refresh everytime you review roles but now everything is there and it won’t update. You have to keep resorting by date and relevance. Honestly guys, I’d rather used indeed or something else now. You are really stuffing up the user experience. Even if you want to search for something go back (to add a location salary) everything resets and you have to add stuff in again. And why don’t you demand salary expectations on roles. I’ll get a hairdresser add in a $350k search.
Weird issue. When you select your profile and go to management - resume - about your next role. I accidentally selected an option in the “about your next roll” section and there is NO way to deselect my option.. which now means anyone viewing my seek profile will see something false that I cannot undo. This shouldn’t be the case. A 6 year old would have the sense to have a very simplistic easy to install feature to deselect an option. Fix asap, it’s appalling that such a basic feature has flew right over the heads of everyone on the development team.
Two words: good product. Would have love to write an epistle about my experience with this app. Then I thought to myself that "good products actually speak for themselves." So, what will I add that'll add or takeaway from what Seek offers?! You know what, in summary, I'll just chip this in: I've gotten not just interviews, but actual jobs (both paid & volunteering) from this app. That I'm impressed is an understatement. And, really, I don't know how they do it, but y'all doing well. If this was like in the Superman movies, they should have big *** 'S' written all over their suits in their offices 😅. That said, there's something unusual I've observed that your developer may need to check out. While I have no issues with the web app, I'm unable to login into my account via the mobile app. On the few occasions that I've tried, there were error messages that read something along the lines of "unable to open [...] too many redirects." With this error, the page went blank and the action of logging into my account didn't proceed any further. I've tried to log in via Safari and Chrome on my mobile device to no avail. Is there something wrong with the app or me or is this a general problem?! Nonetheless, good job guys🫡.
Love the app, but…. Love the app. Being able to save locations to search and all job types etc is great. Very easy to use app. However, recently when clicking into a saved searches and clicking on “new jobs”, after you’ve scrolled through them all and exit out to look through another saved search there is still a number of “new jobs” that that it says haven’t been looked at. You know, up where it says “41 new jobs” and then look through them all, exit that search to go to another saved search and it now says “38 new jobs” in the one you’ve just left. Extremely frustrating as I’d like to look at ACTUAL new jobs that have popped up since last time I looked.
Seek and you shall find!. I love this app. Hands down it poops all over the other job search apps on the market. I love the ability to save my searches, the functionality of the UI and the newest update with the new jobs filtered separately within your search! Love it. If you could add in something, I do realise it's never as simple as "adding in something" but the "you maybe a strong applicant" note at the top of the jobs, if there was a way to identify them within the list, so you don't have to go into the advertisement, that would be great. But then again, it's not like I don't have the time on my hands to open the advertisement, I am job hunting after all lol Keep up the awesome work!!!!
Possible Filters. Love the app. My definite go too when it comes to searching for jobs. Having said that I’d love for there to be a “quick apply” filter that only jobs you can quick apply with appear. Another filter that I think would be a good addition would be to filter jobs that seeks thinks “You may be a strong applicant” with.
New Layout. New app Home Screen layout has removed quick access to saved job searches. They’ve really taken a solid app and made no good updates (see missing basic feature below) and now they’ve made it harder to navigate. *update* It’s such a simple thing but please add the ability to sort by ‘updated’ jobs in the Applied view. The pay range for jobs has disappeared which is causing a lot of wasted time applying for positions with low pay. Would love to have the ability to exclude specific industries from job search results.
Been using seek for 20 years. Back in 2003 I started using seek, back in those days I could still walk into a workplace, talk to the boss directly and negotiate a start day with them. Those days are mostly gone now but seek is a good tool for seeing what work is out there, what the pay is likely to be and how many roles are advertised in a particular area. As far as getting a job directly from seek? I’ve got to interview stage many times and have used seek to apply for jobs that I knew people who worked there already and seek was just the facilitation tool to get the job… so overall it’s been good to me but I still suggest using it in addition to lots of other job hustling tactics.
Something changed in the algorithm?. Already contacted user support and my issue was 'fixed' once Seek knew the email associated with my account but it has reoccurred less than 2 weeks later. And I see other reviews within the last 2 months are reporting similar problems, seeing suggested jobs outside their geographic region, role type or salary range. Personally, the algorithm is throwing out ridiculous suggestions for job roles, which makes the app and widget a nightmare to use. My saved searches, emails and saved jobs are all senior marketing positions, but I'm getting receptionist and entry level sales roles. Prior to the 'fix' I was receiving project management roles. Please correct whatever has gone wrong asap.
Suggestion. I think I wouldn’t be able to find job through this app because this app recommends me jobs that apparently, I am not eligible for these jobs. During 6 months, I have applied for more than 30 jobs but I have received only one call who interested to know more about my qualifications and experience. All these show me that the recommendations of this app are completely inappropriate for job seekers. I have suggested you that kindly check the profile of job seekers with more concentration and make your recommendations more relevant and appropriate for job seekers. Hopefully this change make people feel better about themselves and this app. Overall thank you.
Swipe function should take you back to search, not from job to job. It is very rare that users are searching so narrowly that they want to swipe from job to job. I constantly want to swipe back for the search so I can continue scrolling (in a wider search having already moved past jobs that weren’t the right fit) only to find myself on the ad before, one that I had already discounted. PLEASE change this. Maybe have arrow buttons at the bottom for moving from ad to ad, but allow swiping to take you back to the search, not the previous ad.
Great app for job seekers but could be a little better. The app for job seekers in AU/NZ but Seek could put more pressure on employers to state their genuine pay range. Finer graduations in pay at the upper end would help, as would a filter for those offering hybrid WFH options. A map showing the location of the employment would also be a great help when trying to find work that is handy to public transport, (it would also help the environment). The ability to save to multiple folders would help those who are also looking for employment for their children as well as themselves. Ability to ad notes on mobile app would be icing on the cake. Thanks
Hard to navigate on usable search functions. The website that seek users tries to push you into the app at every stage you just can’t avoid it you don’t know where the data is being kept all his utilising that data one has no choice if looking for job I can only hope that all the information that has been collected will be treated in confidence and never on sale to anyone or use for any other reason than the purpose for which it was intended and that is to find a job The application once you download it has reduced reduced functionality Once you enter in your desired information the application then just hijacked you to what it thinks you want to look at not what you’re actually requesting for. To me it appears that the GUI has been developed without the end user input it also exhibits a wealth of development opportunity for someone that would be switched on and keen in finding a job having that information reported back so they can then develop something that is functional. I.e. fit for purpose. I am also feeling a bit guilty because someone has spent a lot of time doing this work in developing what they believe to be a really good product unfortunately I’m black-and-white it’s just the way I am. I have always believe if you are not interested in the answer then don’t ask the question.
Frustrating. This app is now so annoying and frustrating. Say for instance I want to search for a job in my area like Caboolture QLD 4510, well it now shows like over 10,000 jobs that are like 1-2 hours away from Caboolture. It never done this previously. So now I gotta search through all these jobs and then read them for no reason to find out they are like 2 hours away from where I live. If I wanted to work 2 hours away I would search there myself I don’t need seek to do it for me. There is no options in the filter to change this. Not happy with this app at all, think I’ll stick to indeed or career one.
A feature request. Can Seek please add an option to manually mark a job as applied for as it would show if applied for through the app? As some employers request external application processes, among a sea of applications sent, it can sometimes be hard to remember which of these openings have been applied for, particularly when many are marked as applied. Of course, we don’t want to spam a desired potential employer or send duplicate or separate applications. Thanks team
Swift app. I’ve been using this app for years and it has been a delight to use. I’ve given this 4 stars because I have found that the “save this search” button is in the way of my viewing - and obviously the only way to remove the button would be to “save this search” and then I end up with the long list the main screen. Perhaps add in swipe away function of some sort or an option to not save the search.
What ever you are looking for is not there.. What ever you try to narrow down to find suitable jobs you won’t find it because they are always trying to push the jobs they are getting paid to advertise, example: I just typed in test and tag and end up showing me landscaping jobs o you might thing is in the job description or is correlated nooo nothing in it have test or tag but because there is no other way to look for jobs in Australia you are just stuck with it …. Useless
Poor tracking. The app fails to track the status of you applications. Also when applying it doesn’t show if the application is successful until you resubmit second time. There should be a standard way to apply with reduced handoff. The integration is not smooth. There should be a history of all applied jobs. Jobs which have been listed for more than 2 weeks need to be removed. And the list goes on
DONT DOWNLOAD. Seek has got to be not only the biggest joke but the biggest waste of time. I downloaded seek in 2022 and since being on it I’ve only ever been asked to attend 2 job interviews out of the countless applications I’ve sent through. You’re better off going into the store and handing in a physical resume instead of wasting your time, listing your skills and assets and job experience to people who most likely don’t even give your application the time of day. If I’ve ever been disappointed countless times it’s this app, it never fails to let me down. Honestly I think it’s a close competition between seek and my ex situationship on who has let me down the most.
Truck drivers looking to apply but can’t at the moment. Out of work over two years. I’m on other truck employment websites to. But this is my go first. This is the only place so far I’ve actually got work. But employers requirements are getting tougher by the week. Keep trying I am till I can’t anymore. And just away.
No feed back. Seek. How do I explain, iv apply for over 300 jobs and you are supposed to be the number 1 web site for jobs. The recruitment agency are so disrespectful. You are at a low as it is with finding a job to keep your family afloat and I’ve only had one interview walking away feeling even lower. You say at the top in your headlines that you possibly could be a good candidate for this job and recruitment come back say “ you don’t fit the criteria” but my resume fit the criteria of the job, I get told to down grade my resume as I’m a threat to the business and I’ll never get a job cause I’m to over qualified but I have that experience in what the business are looking for. I think recruitment agency pick and choose who they want which is unacceptable behaviour from a agency. why isn’t Seek CEO looking into this. Jobs in Brisbane on FB, everyone is saying that recruitments are the devil work. They don’t do their job. They don’t get hold of your referees when they say they will. They never ring back when they say they will. Their Is a lot of discrimination against race. (Male/female). Please seek look into this ask I’ve even put a request into 7 news
Update makes it inefficient. Since the recent updates the app is becoming annoying and inefficient. First the classification was removed from the home page rather it was just going off a key word. Now the recent update has removed the saved searches to a secondary page. Saved searches and classifications should be the first thing that comes up.
Not bad, could be improved. Overall this is quite a solid platform, but it isn’t feature rich enough for the job applicants. The search is limited. It would help if there was an advanced search feature where a date range could be specified. For example I want to see only jobs from yesterday or from 2 to 4 days ago because those were the days I missed looking for roles. (Just an example) The hourly rate increments need refinement too. $75 to $100 then to $175 is a big jump in scale for hourly rate. Work mode really would be beneficial so we know if the work is remote, on-site or hybrid.
Great App for Job Seekers. I have recently downloaded the seek app and it’s amazing as it will bring up the latest job vacancies once you complete your profile and upload your resume. I have also been very lucky to secure a job with my very first job application through seek job search. Absolutely fantastic 👍👍👍👍👍
Great place to look for my essential jobs but not for super high caliber jobs. I found seek very useful job seekers site to find many interesting jobs that meet my qualifications and experiences. Good for essential jobs search but not a place for looking for high CEO jobs. Also not a proper site to look for trades jobs like tradies, cleaners, housekeeping jobs or other physical type jobs. Mostly useful to look for office type or non-physical jobs. They could improve the site by adding those extra classifications on their site.
Good app just a few minor bugs. The app works well & easy to use searching for relative jobs. Used to get emails of updates of prospective jobs but haven’t been able to get them work again despite having the tab on for them. 🤷 Otherwise I rather rate the app despite the hit /miss frequency of some employers even actually responding back but that’s not the app’s fault. 😬
What’s with the “New To You” Function Showing Old Jobs. Not sure why you’ve bothered to add the function of “New To You” saved search function when you’ve set it to periodically flush with old jobs we’ve already seen?! Is it something you’ve done to appease the listers that xx amount of people have seen the jobs? Is it because you want the seeker to see 99+ new jobs and spend more time on the app? Because as a job seeker it’s really pretty useless and annoying to be served the same jobs again and again that were listed from 8+ days ago. If it’s a bug, then fix it. Job prospects are already pretty glib in a market where recruiters are systematically ghosting and ignoring applicants. You’re getting obscene amounts of data from us users as is. Don’t treat as with further contempt with functions that work against us.
Not worth the hype. I had heard great things about this app and how many people use it so I got it in hopes to search for a job. The layout for job searchers is fairly intuitive and makes it easy to fill out your information for your portfolio. However that’s were the praise ends. Employers are not held to the same standards as people looking for work. It makes it extremely difficult to be able to sift through every employers who have questionably brief employment ads or job recommendations that should have not been recommended to me based on my credentials. It took me 8 months to find a job that match me and it was no thanks to seek. It’s a lousy app that gives the illusion of working hard but in reality all it does all the checks on the employee instead of the employer. Give more verification and hold employers to a higher standard before you’re actually taken seriously as a job search app.
Biased in favour of Melbourne. I even tried to log an incident about it: all the recommended jobs ignore my location choice and as good as evangelise me to move to Melbourne. In response, I got a lot of excuses and let it go because there was no point in taking it out on the service desk personnel. However, even though I followed their suggestions—tried to open and view jobs located elsewhere, for example—I’m still being bombarded with ads from Melbourne, only Melbourne, and nothing but Melbourne. I’m getting this close to just uninstalling the stupid thing. On a different note, the app doesn’t work with the Apple Magic Keyboard for my iPad: I had to disconnect it even to type this review.
Terrible. I could live with saved searches not being on the home page despite the “suggested jobs” being totally irrelevant to those I viewed. Since the “new to you” update in the search, the app has become completely unusable due to jobs not clearing. I do not want to waste time going through jobs I have seen, I once want to see what is genuinely new & have them clear once I have viewed them. I will not be using the app any longer and will be steering my workplace to alternatives to government is the best chance of finding quality applicants.
The app developers of Seek should be unemployed. Wow, I wrote the below review over 5 years ago, and still nothing has changed. I came here tonight to say I updated the app because all my saved searches were gone. What a surprise to see the app was updated 3 days ago. I went ahead and updated it, and still no saved searches. Come on guys, be better. Despite having emailed with user support many, many times, there are still time wasting nuances that the seek apps loves to throw at you. I don’t even remember the last time that RECOMMENDED JOBS actually recommended a job which was in my requested salary range. I find a recommended job which may be cool, I run a search for the name of the company. Then I search again, this time narrowing the salary range. Then, when it’s still there, I narro again, and again, until bang, it’s 10k short of the cheese I’m looking for. Also if I search for ADELAIDE jobs, I don’t care what you think may entice me interstate to try, I just want local jobs, is it that freaking hard? Losers.
Convenient, and the app developer actually cares!. The SEEK app is convenient, the app behaves as well as the desktop version... and in some ways, the app is better. Furthermore, recently I posted this suggestion: “What I would really like to see improved is to be given the option for saved searches to ALWAYS sort by date, as soon as you open the search. I managed to get one of my searches to do this, but have never been able to repeat it on my other searches.” The app developer responded almost straight away and told me how to achieve this. Now that’s great service from an app developer - you don’t get better than this!! BTW: to get it to sort by date, open the SEEK website on your computer (NOT your smart device!!), open the offending search, sort by date, save the search again, delete the old search... and there you have it - your search always lists in date order, even on the app ;)
Wrong jobs suggested. Hate the new layout when first opening app. Having to scroll past “recommended jobs” that are irrelevant, to get to my saved searches is stupid. Also some of the location areas are too big. Mornington Peninsula and Bass Coast are not areas a normal person would drive between for work, yet they’re all bundle in the one area. Thus making a lot of the jobs that come up on the search, over 100km away. Finally, why do I keep getting notifications that an employer has viewed my application day after day for the same job. It’s been 3 weeks and I keep getting notifications in My Activity, even after opening the job etc to clear it.
Misdirection. I like this app for convenience, however, can you please stop sending applications on my behalf when I only open the Job Description link. I’ve had two positions so far that I had apparently applied for with no correct details because I didn’t intend to apply. People in HR (whether creating software or dealing with actual people) need to be less officious and more helpful.
Great service better wage detail and work location would make it exceptional. Great service, a little more gradation on wage and detail on physical work location would make it exceptional. With a desire that work commute has less of a climate / personal impact more detail on the work location would help. Presently the organisation often has to be googled and the location searched in google maps to calculate the potential commute. Adding a map location link, where possible would help.
Lacks basic features. Lacks features that are expected as standard for professional app developers, like multitasking support on iPadOS or widget options. There are some differences between the full desktop web version and the app, which shows that it’s not just a simple reskin of the browser version. This just makes it more disappointing and more clear that very little thought went into the design of the app experience. Also seems to not have all the search filtering results that the browser app provides. I understand hiding the less-used ones to declutter and make it easier for the user, but at least having the option hidden behind “advanced search” or something would be much better. I find myself switching out of the app to use the web browser a few times per day.
Want to be shown a great variety. The app shows an incredible variety of positions which follow your filters, however, it’s often not accurate to the exact items that you need, sharing a cohort job opportunities which can often be outside of the area you’re looking within and also will show jobs in different disciplines from your original preferences.
Help @ last thankyou seek ❤️. Searching is bad. I don’t know when it started specifically but in the last 3 months searching has degraded to a poor experience. I search for something like “.NET” or “C#” keywords and get Java roles. Or roles that aren’t even software engineering or development. It takes a while for the app to get new features; they only just introduced remote/onsite search filters in August 2024 when LinkedIn had it for 2 years already. You still can’t go to a jobs company page and search for other jobs by the same company. You have go to the search and manually type in the company name! Just little omissions that make it harder to search fast, unlike LinkedIn. Just use LinkedIn; more job ads and better search.
Doesn’t work on all tech. Great site to visit, didn’t let me download an older version for iPad, doesn’t open quick apply job sites off the website and even though it says compatible for this device (older iPad) it asks me to go to updated app or website where it won’t download updates and it won’t open off website again. So all in all.....unless the push for newer technology is be bought by users is corrected.....you can’t use it properly or at all. But they’ll collect your entire life’s info from your resume and login and boast about the app on television ads.....it’s certainly a ‘Seekret’ to being able to sue it.
Best job search app. I have been using a few search apps of late and Seek wins, hands down. There is actually no comparison! I’ve had issues with the app and had to contact the support team. Can I say, WOW! Not only was I shocked that I got a response at all, I had a response within 24 hours!! From a site / app with soooooo many users, this is incredible. Well done, Seek! Thank you support team. A few suggestions. 1. It would be FANTASTIC if saved jobs could show the application expiry date and have a sort function for this too. 2. Written cover letters in the app do not go away! It has to be removed before applying to another job. It would be nice if it didn’t hold. 3. You’re awesome! Let it be known. Tell it from the roof tops. Now, I’ve used a LOT of job search sites so I can say that Seek is the best, hand on heart! Thank you :-)
Makes it so easy to apply for jobs. I really love the experience of applying for jobs, especially the quick apply jobs. My previous answers are saved and I can complete my application in less than a minute. This is so much better than leaving the app and entering details on the job poster’s website for the millionth time as well as having to remember the password for each site.
Nothing never works.. Between Seek, LinkedIn and Indeed are all in business for money. Not to actually provide value to the job seeker, they even barely deliver any value to the real customer, the job ad poster. In more than 10 years of going on and off changing jobs and just keeping an eye out, the UI and UX is essentially the same. Filters are ok but not great. Posters are not quite encouraged to fill things properly so filtering can actually work. Descriptions are all worse than a 9year old essay and integrations never improve. Zero efforts to cull out fake job postings that are clearly internally filled. Zero efforts to help shape the industry and employer/applicant behaviors into mutually beneficial ones that actually connect people rather than being ghosted in unfathomably rude ways. Every time I've walked by the Seek building in Richmond I gag or feel deeply angry at the current state of employment affairs, where is all just void job descriptions from people whose brains should be examined (not to Seek's fault, but they could help, yet choose not to), and no platform actually wants to help, it's all about money.
Could be better targeted for teenagers. It’s helpful to find jobs, but could you add a feature to filter jobs with certain times you’re available to work, and filter jobs based on age. It’s so annoying reading an amazing job ad only to get to the bottom of the ad and finding out it’s 18+ only and I’m not old enough. Maybe you could even make a feature or even a separate app that finds jobs specifically for teens/young adults who are at school and uni

SEEK is Fantastic!. I am very happy to have found this mobile app! It's easy to use, convenient, informative and all around brilliant. I'm a Canadian looking for work abroad, and this is a Godsend!
Great app. It’s all very straight forward, I haven’t had any issues while using it.
Not helpful. Can’t refine search enough to have any actual use
Well developed app. First time user of this app and is easy to work with. Well written.
Great app. Very easy to use
Review. Great app, very accessible.
Seek app. Great app! Easy to use and quick to apply with professional set up to allow you to stand out
Very very good. Job searching apps are never exciting. However this second try by Seek will knock your socks. It is best job searching app and overall experiences for the user. It is also very fast in displaying info.
Good. Good app
