iCloud Sync?. I've been using Close Up for 4-5 years and I've been loving it. The only con is that I hope there's an iCloud Sync option in addition to the current DropBox option.

How to?. I love the app, but how do you delete photos if you want them excluded or you had to take another picture for the day?

Very nice app. I’d like to see an effect when switching from picture to picture like it warps or it fades in the face using facial detection. It would present the video with much more drama specially for people who don’t take daily photos like once a month Thank you I hope i brought something good to consider

Simple and Efficient. Been taking a photo every day for about 6 months, I like that it overlays the picture from the day before to make it seamless in motion. I’m a happy customer 👍🏼

t’s a good simple app.. I wanted a simple app to take daily pics of myself so I can see how I change/look over time. I set the app up to send me random daily reminders to take a picture. Love it. It also slows me to create short videos of the pictures in chronological order. Very cool and I see them to family members just so they don’t forget me. It’s a good simple app.

This app is amazing. I’ve been using this app since March if 2014. So, if anyone is wondering or worried that at some point Youll lose your photos, you won’t. A lot of times people start things and don’t finish them. An app like this being one of them. I’m telling you tho… if you stick with it… it’s amazing to make a video years later and see all the different pics. It’s worth committing to. I promise you. I don’t use it every day. Every few days… once a week sometimes… there have been even bigger gaps as well… when you have so many years tho, you don’t really notice. I absolutely love this app. When I show my video to people they’re so impressed.

Dropbox full. I had to stop using this app after 5 years because I refuse to pay extra to Dropbox. My Dropbox is full and that’s the only way it lets you save the pics (that’s the only thing linked to Dropbox). Also, I didn’t used to have to pay to get the video. Such a shame all these apps that were awesome get greedy. Oh well, time to find a new app and start over with one that allows iCloud backup.

I love this app a lot. The mechanic is very simple, saves pics immediately, and allows you to make customizable gif or video

I Really Love This App. I have been using this app for more than two years now and absolutely love it! I have changed phones twice in this time and getting the photos back was the easiest thing. I have literally zero issues with this app and just want to let you know how amazing it is. I used to just take daily selfies on my phone camera but obviously never managed to make a video with them and now only use your app. Thanks.

Great App But,. I recently got a new phone and so I lost all of the photos I took on my old phone. Please make us able to make accounts to store our progress!

This app is awesome!. I’ve been using it almost daily to get a time lapse of my beard growing and it’s so cool to see. Only thing I’d love to see more is the ability to make multiple time-lapses of different subjects. I would have to delete all my photos to start, say, a time lapse of a plant growing... if that were added as a feature I think this would be the best slow time lapse app on the App Store!!

Like- could be better!. I wish that you could import photos from your device and also edit the position of previous photos for a smoother transition. overall super fun though!

Needs front facing camera. Good app and not bloated with ads... but I wanted to use this for (1) my plants and (2) the weather outside of my window as the seasons change, so an option to use the front facing camera would be dope, as would an option to create different timelines for different subjects.

Very Good. This app is good, there’s not a single add in it like the others that will spam your notifications or ask you to buy there premium every five seconds. There are several feature request however. After you took a picture if you could move it around and aline it with the lines it would make taking the picture easier.

Incredibly Easy Coming From Everyday. I’ve used Everyday since 2012, and with the lack of support recently I was worried that my 10+ years of pictures would have to stop. Tim made the process so easy, I’m very grateful. App works fantastic, has everything you could want for this type of product. Would fully recommend.

Perfect. It’s a perfect free, easy to use app. It doesn’t take up much space at all. My phone is on 12GB which Apple doesn’t even produce anymore and it didn’t even make a dent in my storage. This is an awesome app overall and I look forward to seeing how I change!

Getting a new phone. So I love this app a lot, the only downside is that when you switch phones, the app dosent carry over any of the pictures you took on ur old phone :(

Eh. I was using a different app when it recently got deleted. I was hoping this app would have the option to import photos...maybe it does and I’m blind? Please let me know. been taking a photo every day since New Years and now feel like I did it for nothing.

It‘s affordable and yet superior to the competition.. No fancy interface. No automatic guideline placement. So what? The guidelines he are more useful than most apps I’ve found. The ability to add discrete venue location is easy and accurately. The random timing for the picture is something I found essential. What’s there to complain about? Well, the UX could be more attractive, but I’m fond of minimalism. Another thing, considering how little people change from one day to another, I’d like to see each image or-has into the next and after that, linked together in a video that animates change. Keep up the good work! (I forgot if I payed for this app or if it was free, if it’s free, add a donate option. ;)

Great App. Started using it to track my face’s healing progress after a jaw surgery and it turned into a habit, so now it’s been almost two years of taking pictures daily. Cool to see where I’ve been and who I’ve been with, and the video features are great.

Just wish you could edit order. Would give it 5 stars if you could edit the order the photos were in. Downloaded done ones from Facebook but it puts them last so now they’re out of order

This is the best app for doing one thing. No complaints at all about this app. It doesn’t it’s job every single time.

Amazing app!. Best photo everyday app ever, I had downloaded 4-6 of this type of app and all but this one was very cash-grabby and had many in app purchases. This one has none of that! Amazing app, 5 stars.

Back camera support, please!. I want to be able to use my back camera, so I can take a photo every day for my body transformation.

Great!. This app is so simple and easy to use. I love how there’s a grid and I can change the speed of the video created. Although I think it would be cool to have an option that allows the pictures to be inverted. This would be a super cool feature!!!! Please add it!!!

Love every bit. I used the app Everyday to create a transformation video since 2011. For the past few years I’ve been worried about it not being updated and finally decided to make the switch to a new app. This app is wonderful and creates an amazing user experience from the moment I started with it. It offered to help me transfer all my old selfies from Everyday (no small task as I had 2807 already). Within an hour I was all set up with Close-up. Couldn’t be happier. I love the ability to choose different time periods for creating videos and the fact that it’s so easy to see how long the videos will be and change FPS. Are there things I would change or add? Sure. But overall this is an incredible app and it improves on another I’ve loved for years.

Suggestions. There should be an option to select multiple images at once.

Great app!. Cool app! I’ve been using it since 2014. One question- I have upgraded my IPhone and would like to transfer my pictures to my new iPhone. I’ve synced both phones to my Dropbox, but it has not added the pictures from my older iPhone. Is there a way to do this?

Does the job great!. Just one suggestion — possible to have multiple project at one time? For example, I would like to do the face thing with just my own face, and then do one with my friend everyday. Could it be possible to have two photo projects to save photos to?

Year 3. I’m on my 3rd year using this app. I was really good about using it everyday the first year. I lost rhythm the 2nd and I’m back on track this year. I really do enjoy seeing the compiled video. My ONLY complaint/request is that I wish I could have different profiles. I would love to do this project for my kids (they’re 3, 2 and 9 months). Think of a photo/day starting that young. 🤯

Lost data. I got a new phone and all of my old pictures were gone. I'm so sad. Also prior to my new pjone I noticed that when I made my video it cut out some of my pictures and it was really disappointing for me because I was really hoping to be able to see all of my photos. I wish there was a way to recover my old photos.

Really enjoying this app!. Wish there was an option to have more than one person so there can be multiple people doing this on the same device. Would pay for it.

Good app but needs minor improvements. I have been taking a selfie a day with this app every day this year now and I highly recommend this app for it however I do have some suggestions: 1. Be able to import photos from camera roll 2. Have an option to include the date in each picture for when you create the pic or gif 3. Have an option to tap the screen to temporarily remove yesterday’s low opacity photo from the screen (tap again to bring it back) All of these are fairly simple changes that I think would make the app a lot more user friendly to many customers and myself. Good enough for face selfies but disappointed. This app is missing a simple crucial feature, it’s the camera change button so you can change the camera to front camera, some people like me want to measure our physical progress, it is disappointing that such a simple feature is missing.

Easy to use, wish it allowed multiple projects. I’ve tried a few different selfie apps. This one is easy to use, no bugs, good UX. I love the overlays - though adding a grid could be nice. What I really wish this AP had was the ability to add multiple projects/stories. I’d love to be able to use this to watch my kids grow. But unfortunately I have to find another app to do that.

Awesome App!. Been using CloseUp for at least 3-4 years now and have never been let down! The Dropbox integration is a great feature since I’ve switched phones a few times and never had to worry about local backups. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it would be cool to be able to have more than one set of photos. So maybe you can have yourself and then a separate one for your child or partner, or even for multiple children. Just an idea 😉

Great app. I’ve used this for my own face. Now that I have a baby I would like to use this for my baby. Can you add a setting to use the back facing camera? I couldn’t find that setting in case it already exists.

Close-up review. This is really good if your trying to take a picture of yourself or something every day or every week or something. The only thing I would say is that I wish there was a way I could make it so it gives me a notification every hour or something until I have it completed because I keep forgetting.

I love it. My only suggestion is that, while it lets you pin your location when you take a picture, there isn’t an option to see all your pins at once. That would set this app over the top.

It’s pretty good you all should get it. Things I’d recommend though is to maybe make a backwards video option that’d be neat Will rate 5 stars once I hit almost a year and if the video publishes properly! Great app though, I’d recommend it!

Love it.. I hesitate to publicize my love of this app bc I want to hoard its greatness all to myself.. but I'll act out of my better nature and tell you that this app is simple, elegant, and effective. Love how it works and the results are really cool.

Great app with great customer service. I used the Everyday app for years, but it started getting buggy, and I couldn’t get support. Close Up actually got in touch to recommend their app, and I’m so glad I tried it. Great features, excellent customization on the photos, reminders, and videos. PLUS they provide instructions on how to move your old photos from Everyday into Close Up, so you’ll still have your full history. Sweet.

This app is basically perfect but I have no idea how to delete a photo. Basically the title. This is THE PERFECT APP for a daily selfie montage. It even gives you your own face graph!!! And notifications!! And it’s basically free !!! HOWEVER I have no idea how to delete a messed up photo haha. The app doesn’t really tell how. I guess it can serve as a little life lesson for me 🤷🤷

Love it. This is a great app, and I love using it. All my friends were curious about it and I always recommend it. I especially love how when taking my photo, I can actually line up my face with previous photos so I’m in the same position and the same distance away from the camera. The video is really fun to watch, and I love seeing it grow longer as I continue to use this app. Five stars :)

Very Good. I try to take a photo every day. It is very easy to take, view, and make the video. Also good if you don’t need to make a video you can keep track of stuff like acne or sunburns. Suggestion: be able to import and export photos. Also should be able to use outside camera. Bonus it also shows you yesterday’s photo under the one you are about to take so you can line your face up.

not mad just upset. loved this app so much looked forward everyday to taking my selfie of the day! then one day the camera changed so it was no longer on selfie cam and I couldn't fix it... also, everytime I took a photo the app would crash! so disappointed lost all my photos and I'm just absolutely crushed

Great app. Easy to use and works well. What would be great is an option to automatically add gps tagging to all photos as well as the selected location.

I love it but... I accidentally deleted the app and lost all my photos and I don’t know how to recover it or if i’m even able to get them back. I just started using it this year to have a time-lapse of myself. This app has a fantastic design and easy to navigate, but I’ll love something that allows to recover photos if app is deleted.

I would give 5 stars if. Ok, this app is practical and useful but you need to make it so we can save the video to our camera roll for free or at least tell us how much we would have to pay to unlock that feature. I would give you 5 stars then. Right now l can't save it to my camera roll because you have to purchase the option but you don't tell us how much it is and l'm worried that if would be like $5 or something which means that money's wasted.

Pretty good. Needs a few improvements.. Having native camera controls when taking photos would be very useful. Often I end up needing to turn my flash on or off and as that is in the native camera taking screen, adding that would make this app even more useful.

Almost perfect needs improvement.... Just got a new ipad and lost all my pictures from the old app. I would love to see a feature where you can sync photos with timstamps and all from other devices

Great app. I use this app each day for 4 years now and I really like this app. But, I would have some recommendations. First, I would add a feature that we could do another Close-up. Like a while ago, I wanted to do a video of my growing plant so a downloaded an other app, but no one is as efficacy as yours. Also, I would make a base “underlying photo” to always picture ours-self on the same picture to keep the same position on all the photos. When you accumulate a lot of photos, it getting long to swipe to the good one. Thanks for your great work!

Useless if you don't pay. Won't let you make a video for free. You need to buy that. You can basically just take selfies with the app for free. Pretty useless.

Great. This app is exactly what I was looking for! It reminds you every day (if you set it) and helps you line up your photos to match previous days.

Duped. I’m on an iPhone 12 with iOS 15.2 I’ve been taking my photos for a week. Nothing works. I have 0 photos. No error messages no indication that I’m doing anything wrong. I’ve been duped.

The best photo-a-day app yet. Works very well. Love the fine control over the .H264 video generation. The use of Dropbox to sync photos and the use of epoch file naming allows you to easily transfer photos from other photo-a-day apps. Would like the ability to reposition photos after taking them. Also, I added a few photos that are at 400x400 resolution (from a defunct app). Looks decent in the app but the photos become horribly stretched in the generated video. Hopefully this gets fixed.

No date&time feature. A date stamp feature would be nice. would be nice.

Come on!. Great interface and easy to use. When it comes time to export your video or gif, you have to pay. Dumb! Just use Google photos and upload your pictures into an animation. Free

Everything I expected and more. My expectations for this app weren't very high when I downloaded it, (all it has to do is take photos and compile them in a slideshow, right?) but I've been pleasantly surprised with the number of features it has to offer. Some of my favorites: Allows you to set a daily reminder to take a photo Automatically backs up photos to Dropbox Translucent overlay of your previous photo pops up on screen when taking new photo so you can line up your face if you care about that kind of thing Not sure why this app hasn't received more attention. Is the market already saturated with selfie apps? Regardless, this app is great and I would totally recommend it.

Great app but no honesty. Love the app. But when I tried to make a video, it says you have to purchase it, otherwise you can’t share or save it. NOWHERE does it say that. You’re led to believe it’s all free and then it’s not. Shameful.

What?. Do photos need to be taken on this app and then uploaded to dropbox? I tried uploading photos from my camera roll to dropbox and they won’t work or show on the app. Very confusing.

Easy To Use!. I have been using this app everyday since April 02, 2015 to capture headshots. The app is seamless and so easy to use! It is amazing what one picture a day can transform into in two years. The app also has a daily reminder for you to take a photo, and they all sync with your Dropbox account to secure your photos! It also generates videos for you to view of the transformation (must buy pro version to Save the video). Great App!

It works but.... I don't really get the purpose of this app. It's about taking your photo every day but what does it do that I can't already do with my phone?

I Don’t have Dropbox!!. It’s a good app with daily reminders and it’s simplicity but if you don’t have Dropbox it’s so hard to back the photos up!!!

It was okay.. I did it everyday for a month and finally decided to make my video. I made my video and deleted the app only to find that my video did not save to my phone after pressing the button to save it.

Great app for documenting weight loss. It’s interesting watching my face change over time as I lose weight. I really like this app!

Face alignment awkward and hard to see. You would have a white outline of where to center your face and eyes as opposed to the faded picture of the one you took before. It's hard to see and also awkward when the angles are weird. Also one star for not having a feedback option in your settings.

Great—except no importing of photos. Great app, best in my experience, except for the inability to import old photos. Would make it much easier to switch; I’d pay for this feature.
