Please consider fellow Muslimahs in your next update... Salaam alaykum, Praise be to Allah (swt), the most Gracious, most Merciful. May the peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon Prophet Muhammad (saw), and may Allah(swt) have mercy on us Muslims and give us good in this world and the Hereafter. Thank you for creating this app. It has been very helpful with keeping steadfast with prayer, and resourceful with the Du’as, the compass, and the Islamic calendar, Alhamdulillah. I would give it five stars, only I am disappointed that there is no option for Muslimahs for when they cannot pray. The reminders to “log prayers” don’t help. It would be helpful to have the option to choose an amount of days in every month where we cannot pray, instead of making it appear that we are missing prayers carelessly. In the end, Allah (swt) knows our intention and that is what matters more than anything. But having this option would help lots of Muslimahs out there. Please consider adding a feature like this in the future, InshAllah. Thank you again for your hard work on this app, and may Allah (swt) make your further work successful. And Allah (swt) knows best. Masha Allah The Best App. I have been using the “Athan” app all year round for the past couple of years and I have their yearly subscription which even is better with more features. Honestly, I travel a lot due to work and the first thing I do is to find Qibla Direction using this app, and of course not just that, I listen to Holy Quran - even in flights and what’s awsome about it is that it doesn’t have to connect to WiFi - somehow the entire whole Holy Quran is like in the app itself which is another great feature. I definitely recommend this app. It’s precise on prayers times as well. Many Thanks to the Athan Community. Much appreciated all the effort !!

Apple Watch Feature?. I love the app! It has truly motivated me to pray more. I love the feeling of being able to like, click off or tap off (whatever you want to call it) that I’ve done a prayer. It keeps motivating me and also keeps me excited to do my other prayers because who doesn’t like to check it off? 🤷🏽‍♂️ There is one thing I wish for: I wish there was an Apple Watch feature where I can just tap on it through the Watch and not have to go to the app. It would be nice to also get those prayer notifications on the Watch, too! I hope y’all can implement it some time soon! Maybe in the next update! I would love to see it on the Apple Watch! Other than that, great application!

Suggestion. Salaams, I truly enjoy this app and have used it for a few years. All of my children use it (4 daughters & 1 son). With that being said, I suggest adding consideration that not all females can pray a full month. If you do not tick off the prayers your stats drop and reflect that you have “missed” prayers. While that may be the case, we are not accidentally missing the prayers. One of my daughters even got a notification that said ‘I guess since you’re not actively using this app we will stop sending you notifications as they don’t seem helpful’. This is a consistent issues with every prayer app we have tried. Please make this consideration that females use your app. May Allah continue to bless us all.

Personal preference. This is a really great app if you want to learn more about Islam and if you want to understand what the Quran teaches about Islam. You can also learn how to read the Quran which is a really nice feat the app has. This also helps you build an understanding and connection with your own goals. Overall I really enjoy this app it has helped me to get back on my praying and learning new Dua’s. Personally a favorite for me, it really helped me get some clarity and peace during hard times and it’s really worth trying it out. This app also has prayer times for the 5 prayer salah. Definitely recommend this app!!

Such a comfortable and legit app to get better at deen!. App is so comfortable to navigate, information is all backed up by authentic sources, they even have a section for those on their period (no other app I downloaded before this ever had that). Everything about this app is like a map to help you get closer to Allah swt. I def 1000% recommend. In my opinion, this is THE best app I have ever downloaded so far. Like I said before, everything in this app is backed up by authentic sources and plus, all the dua’s have translation and transliteration paired with them. It has even more than what you just NEED, like the prayer athan for qiyam al-lail, it tells you when sunrise and sunset is, and it has all duas for all occasions. (dua to be among those who pray more, dua for protection/forgiveness/mercy/guidance/patience, and duas for other things like for the goodness of this world and the next!) Also, it has duas for when you enter that bathroom, after you hear the athan, when you’re doing wu’dhu, when entering the masjid, and a lot more that I can’t fit into this tiny review. I love this app so much and I only download it 3 days ago, I think it’s one of the top islamic apps right now, I prefer it over muslim pro and other apps. athan>>>>other apps I am not a bot, I’m just genuinely so excited I found this app, alhamdullilah. download and share it with every possible creation of Allah swt that you can! 📌 May Allah swt guide, forgive, and bless you and bring you closer to Him and His Prophet Muhammed ‎ﷺ in a beautiful way and grant you Jannat-Ul-Firdaus al-a’Ala without any accountability by His mercy and rahma, He is Arhamirrahimeen. Athan ما شاء الله. Amazing App. So easy to use and navigate through. It's simplicity in user interface makes everything easy to find. I love that I get to record each prayer I completed and it keeps track of my progress. I love the ahadeeth on the Home Screen that provide insight and easement of the day ahead. Reading the Quran in Arabic letters and in English letters and seeing the translation in English is immense for someone who isn't 100% fluent in Arabic, makes it better to understand as you read a word in Arabic and get stuck in it, you can pronounce it the English way and see read the meaning of it at the same time. So helpful to learn. Being able to bookmark Surahs and change the Quran reciter makes it customizable to the reader's preference. Such a great app. Perfect app for all the things you desire الحمد الله رب العالمين و جزاكم الله خير 🤲🏼 😊

Good app, annoying pop up ads. The Athan app is probably one of the best, if not THE best Muslim app. It contains the Quran with English translation and pronunciation. Also, it has the prayer times with athan and Duas with labels. (At what times and why you say it.) The duas have translations, and pronunciation. They even have benefits of saying the dua. It has so much more like how much days until Ramathan, a community full of great Muslims, an Islamic gallery, and an amazing add-on that tracks how much times you’ve prayed. There are badges for how much times you prayed. (5, 10, 20, etc.) I would say, if your a Muslim, it’s a must-get app. There is a downside, the ads. While I’m reading Quran, there are unexpected pop ups. I hope they fix this really quick. I know they are making money by putting up ads but they should not make them pop up on certain tabs. I may be over exaggerating because you can X out of them immediately. Besides ads, this is my favorite app. I totally recommend getting it.

Love it 💗. This app has so many features that most apps don’t and it’s for free just with a couple ads and people still complain. if they don’t want the ads they can pay for the premium version. This app has has quran, duas for everything , tasbih, umarah and haj guide, qiblah, pink guide ( women’s health) which includes questions and answers and duas to help with that rough week and prayer checklist which I didn’t even know till now and it’s for free and people still complaining about one or two ads. This app is honestly the best one I’ve seen so far and about the English to Arabic translation I’ve seen some mistakes but you can chose which type of translation u want and I chose saheeh translation and it’s good.

Just some issues. Asalamu ‘alaikum! To start I would like to say I love the app itself but I have seen many issues recently. First, the app drains your batter drastically: I would be reading a Surah for five minutes and my battery drains 20%. Next the app will be giving you an ad every thirty seconds, I understand that they need the money for it to make profits it’s just really upsetting when you try and connect to allah and you have a temu add pop up in your face. Also if I stay on the app for more than 15 minutes it freezes up and lags very badly to where you have to manage to exit the app, (it causes the entire phone to lag, and I have tested this on multiple phones) and restart the app. Overall I love the features and how the app is organized and helps out Muslims around the world study the beautiful religion, shukran.

AMAZING especially for women!!. I was already a fan of this app, because its ads are shorter than other salah time apps and it shows the time for Tahajjud as well. But I HAD to write a positive review after seeing this new Athan Pink feature. You can now mark yourself as “excused” from salah for however many days you need, and the app will pause your athan notifications for that period of time. The Athan Pink section of the app also includes helpful diet, exercise, herbal support, and mental health tips for our cycles. Best of all, they added a whole section of adhkar specifically curated to help us get through the days of menstruation! To everyone who worked on this feature and on this app in general, JazakumAllahu khayran!!

Aggressively asking for subscription. I’m using it for awhile, enjoying the free services they are offering. I don’t complain about ads they have to make profit. This Quran, you can’t interrupted for any reason. It started for awhile now to interrupt the recitation and let you go out of the app to start it again so you see ads, at this point you lose the track of your recitation listening and forget what verse you are in. So annoying. Are you doing this for ager or profit? Update: I received your response, jazaak Allah Khair for that. You may have not understood my concern. While the recitation the app freezes and shots of. So when I go back to the app I find it restarting, then I have to go through ads before I go back to my surah and aya I was in. Then after 10 or 20 ayas, it does the same thing, kick my out from the app. I notice that happens when I read and listening at the same time. But when I’m just listening for example in the car and the app is not showing in the screen it doesn’t stop the reading. It’s something has to do with recitation and app is on the screen. I hope I was clear this time. Update: You need to be accurate about Qibla direction. I was in Mecca and I wanted to check the accuracy of you Qibla direction. And I shocked because the direction is completely off. Literally your Qibla direction in the opposite direction of the real Qibla. So outrageous because I was following your direction for many years.

Buggy and frustrating. Since the update, I can’t check to see if I’ve logged the prayers I’ve done, and check the appropriate boxes, the new “goals” area won’t log that I’ve done any of my prayers, the menstrual toggle comes on by itself, and the overall app is hard to navigate now. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and tried to log into my old profile and account and it was deleted permanently. I had to make a new one. I’ve paid to have this app and now it seems I’ve wasted my money, and now my time. I’ve emailed support with the issues I’m having a week ago and have yet to hear a response. I’ll probably be deleting this app and looking for more user friendly app, and one that isn’t so buggy. I wish I could give this more stars, but throughout the years of me having this app the updates have made is increasingly frustrating to have on my phone.

Just pay the $3.99. Salam!! Once you get the premium upgrade, it’s a wonderful app. I love being able to check off each prayer I complete, and the little words of encouragement that you’re doing good and to keep going. Being able to EASILY change the way I’m notified for each, individual prayer is a huge bonus as well. I know my schedule so I know when it’s appropriate for the Athan to go off and I know when I need just a vibration reminder. If I’m out late a certain day, then it’s super easy for me to change my isha prayer from “athan” to “vibration”. Having a Qibla be easily accessible is convenient too. It vibrates when you hit the exact spot, very nice. All in all, I love this app. It’s helped me pray more and it makes me wait on the edge of my seat for the next prayer....because I want to check it off haha. I’m sure you’ve paid for an app or a game here or there...this is worth the premium purchas, I promise. Not to mention, you’re supporting a Muslim company out there, trying to make prayer more accessible to Muslims all over the world. Salamualaikum!

Annoying problem that has no solution. The app is great and it’s an invaluable tool to have. My problem is the random notifications for events going on in parts of the country that are hundreds or thousands of miles away from me. Why do I need this information and why can’t I turn these notifications off? Adding to this review. I’ve emailed after I left a review here and I still haven’t been told why I keep getting random notifications for Islamic events from around the nation. It happens almost daily. If I turn off notifications I won’t be able to get Athan times. My location is not set to any where near these events so I don’t understand why the app deems it necessary to inform me of these events regularly. Please help me to find a solution. JAK. My third addition to this review. Months have passed and the problem still hasn’t been solved and definitely won’t be. Despite emailing more than once and leaving this review, the developers don’t seem to care. That’s fine. There are other apps. I’m sure they’re more concerned with which ads can bombard the users.

El. Awesome app, I like the idea of being able to see what the Muslim community have and what events are available! And this app totally came a long way, I remember years ago. It used to crash and there wasn’t much to do with the app. I hope they improve it and fix all bugs and I truly wish for the app to be friendlier when it comes to the ads because they pop up none stop and sometimes I can’t even close them! I’m giving it 5 stars, at the same time hope to see more Athans especially more updates to have more options for prayer alerts and this app would be the way to connect with our brothers and sisters! Keep up the good work!

😡Qiyam is not Fard so neither should be it's notifications!. It's takes all of my patience not to delete this app. (Which I probably will do, given newer apps now provide widgets). It does what it's supposed to do perfectly. Reminds you of salah at proper times and along with good motivational messages. As long as you constantly keep opening the app like every other day. I truly hope this is not to increase their ad revenue. It also does more than you want/expect; like loudly and annoyingly giving you other notifications (daily). For the most part you can turn those off but it took me a while to realize how. It would be better if you gave users the option to Opt-in instead of them trying to opt-out. And with new updates you never know what new notifications will come with it, scaring you half to death when it starts beeping loudly at 10 PM. Oh don't get me started on the ads... All the ads do is convince you to close the app and regret it every time you return.

Excellent app!!. I love this app, and have been happy to pay for the premium version for the last several years. I love most of all the prayer notifications and the option to check them off when they have been completed. Women have the option to pause prayer notifications during their menstrual cycle. I can’t count the number of times I’ve used the duaa feature, or the qibla feature while traveling. Most of all, I really enjoy their little videos that are way better than scrolling. It’s actually NOT a waste of time, and I find it enjoyable when I need a short downtime; no guilt at all. I actually wish they would put even more of these. They are all beautifully created. The only thing I would personally change (in case developers are reading), is to make the premium version shareable on iOs with family, and to offer a translation with all their Arabic content for us non- Arabic speakers. Overall, truly excellent and useful, I use it several times daily.

Please Update English translation for Du’aas. As-Salamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. I’m a paying subscriber and I have one kind request of you. Please update the English translation for du’aas to modern English. I get that the du’aas in Arabic are in old age Arabic but the English does not need to be in old age English. The English translation is not part of the preservation of the Islamic scriptures. It is simply to help non-Arabic speaking Muslims to understand the Arabic. I don’t like reading “thou hast bestoweth… etc, etc.” as this is not how we speak in modern day times. It is foreign to us in modern times. The idea is to understand what we are saying and this makes it difficult because we have to translate in our mind from Arabic to old English and then to modern English or also memorize the old English. That’s unnecessarily tedious. Please make it easy for English speaking Muslims and update the English translations to modern English. Again, it is absolutely unnecessary to have it in old English as English is not the language of the preserved Islamic scriptures. I hope this is taken as a serious priority and resolved as soon as possible. Jazakum Allahu Khairan wa Barak Allahu Feekum.

Most accurate of them all and usual features too. The ads on this iPhone app used to be annoying but meh. I paid the few dollars to clear them but that was more out of appreciation for the homies at if who made this. One gripe is that they didn't clear for a few weeks, some glitch I guess. It's ok now. Thanks to now also having qibla and even a decent Quran repository this now is the only Islamic app I need at all. I once stood at a window and watched the sun drop below the horizon visually just to see how accurate it is and Mashallah. it buzzed maghrib in within a second of the last sliver vanishing. I think even non Muslims should download this just so they know when dark and light are! In short, Bravo alakm to you guys.

Annoying, loud commercial during prayer times.. Dec 5, 2018 : How many times I have to pay to update for add free application ? I have paid several times and most recently I have paid for update again but the app is asking me to update again by making more payment. For Allah’s sake , please stop doing shady business in the name of Islam. Previous: Advertisement with annoying loud sound interrupts prayers. If user checks the prayer time in a rush and forgets to close the app and stands on the prayer, the app automatically displays commercials with a high volume. By that time user is already started prayer and can’t go back to the app and close it. Not only that , user is not even allowed to close or stop the commercial and it forces user to continue to watch and listen the loud annoying commercials. This is extremely inconvenient and unacceptable. Nobody wants to compromise and interrupt their prayers for unwanted commercials . This must be stopped. As an user of the app for long long time , I don’t appreciate this pain while I have paid the highest price for the app to be commercial free. I while I do understand the necessity of your revenue, I don’t believe that it has to compromise the dignity of prayer itself. Please pay attention, as a Muslim.

Assalam alaykum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu, I have a quick and simple question please and thank you; ok so basically my question is why hasn’t this app been created for women as well because it seems so me that this app was just created for men and the reason I ask and say that is on the basis of this: if a woman happens to be on her menstrual cycle for the mont she can not indicate any of that where she then would be excused for the specific days and prayers that she has missed because of her monthly it just puts that it is a missed prayer and I do not think that that is right nor fair! Is there any way that that can be fixed or updated or tweaked somehow to where it can indicate something for us women??? Please let me know insha’allah, jazakallah khair!!!

Why are we changing the true meaning of Allah’s words. I have had this app since 2018 and I’ve always been amazed at how astonishing it is. However, lately I’ve realized that a lot of the prayers (duas) I have memorized in English by the way of this app has changed. Some of them have even deviated from saying “I seek help in Allah” to “I seek help with Allah” which in a way sounds like we are making partnerships with Allah. Another thing I perceived is in the English version of ayatul kursi, the word kursi has been changed to throne. Narrated in Fatawa Ibn Taimiyah, vol. 5, pg. 54-55, “kursi” is in front of “throne” therefore; when praying if you say kursi instead of throne, it is more powerful and has a greater impact. Please update these changes especially within the daily and nightly duas. Let us not water down Allah’s words. So many people are looking for the right guidance, this app has been their saving grace through the help of Allah. May Allah continue to provide and inspire the developers of this app. Ameen!

Wonderful Alhamdulilah and MashaAllah. Jazakum Allah Khair. I paid for many apps and distractions and for the longest time resisted paying for this app because it did what I needed it to do for free - at the time it was just to know when it was time to pray. The ads were a bit annoying but shaytan whispered all that was possible to stop me from paying into this app and supporting. Alhamdulilah Allah guided me to shut shaytan up and pay to subscribe and SubHanAllah it’s been one wonderful thing/experience after the other. May the money I paid for this bear witness of my intention to get closer to Allah and May it help the developers of this app to add to it to reach more hearts like mine ready and eager to humbly host the Most Loving.

This app is the best. Mashallah Mashallah, I love this app so much!!!!!!!!!!!! Ramadan Kareem and this app is so great, its so helpful and amazing it helps to read quran, make duaa, and so much more amazing things, nothing is bad about this app, nothing bothers me from this app. I feel so great writing this and making the creator of this app happy. Please hear me out. This app alhamdullilah is a wonderful app. I’ve been using it since I reverted to Islam. However there’s a very vital feature that was very helpful to me, which was the ability to look at prayer times in the past and prayer times in the future. I schedule my days around salah, so having the ability to swipe to see what the salah times will be 5+ days ahead was very beneficial. I know there is a month timetable, but it is too much to zoom in and look painstakingly for the right date, and the prayer time, etc. I really wish you guys will bring this old feature back. I know no one else in the reviews mentioned it but I’m sure some of us still miss that feature. I would be soo happy if you did because no other app does that as well.

Athan. This app has been so good, I can’t believe how much features it has just so free. This has honestly made my life so easy with features that I would never have thought of being in a namaz app, such as getting to check bullet points that help you track your prayers. There are seriously barely any adds, and I could not be more pleased with the app for being this way. And more surprising of all is the Athan Pink that helps all women in answering their questions and give advice to them if they are menstruating. I could not say thank you enough for this feature that I never could have imagined, but still thank you so much

Amazing. this app has so many helpful features. the amount of dhikr, dua and Quran this app has gotten me to read is excellent!!! ⭐️ Everything is translated into English and also includes transliteration which helps with pronunciation. the duas include their listed benefits too, which is great. I grew up with a lot of Arabic phrases not knowing what they meant and this app has helped me understand them and tap back into my deen much more consciously. Seamless and eye pleasing design, too. Love love love this app! Just one thing I’d mention is that the reminder texts are great but when I click them and am directed to the app they disappear and I’m unable to read them in entirety, which I would love to do. Please make them readable when we click the app from the reminders!

App is Buggy. The app constantly freezes on start up if you try to click anything. Seems like you have to wait for the ads to load completely before touching your screen otherwise it freezes. The ads sometimes take upwards of 20 seconds to load which makes things frustrating when it’s a consistent thing. We haven’t even mentioned the video ad that take over your screen every so often. It almost makes the app unusable, trying to force you into paying for the subscription. I get that they need to make money but I feel like there has to be a better option than making users frustrated. It was not like this years back (it used to be the best athan app out there). Now I’ve switched over to another app because this is just ridiculous.

Great app. This app is like 5 apps in one. So many features and easy to use. Ads are annoying but you can upgrade to remove them. One thing I wish they would change is adding control over which notifications we receive. Even if I turn off a notification sound for Sunrise and Qiyam, I still get a notification which the phone will make the default notification sound. Also get many other notifications that I don’t want. One feature that would be an added bonus if there were choices of the Quran reciter. Only one reciter (Mishary) currently and he is good so I don’t mean to complain. It would be going the extra mile to add more reciters.

I loved the app, but I unfortunately paid the subscription (to support the creators of the app) and then came upon the addition of the menstruation faqs for women. It states a woman can not enter the masjid while menstruating and this is INCORRECT! The app doesn’t even provide a reference to this. Scholars agree, you absolutely CAN ENTER THE MASJID. It also states that women can’t recite Quran while menstruating. Again, INCORRECT! The reference the app provides to Surah Al-Waquiya 56:78-80 says “ In a register well protected; none touch it (Quran) except the purified. It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.” Scholars agree it is stating you can not touch it (note: none can touch the Quran without wudu). Nowhere does it say you can not recite. You CAN RECITE QURAN while menstruating. How dare this app give false information. Especially to new Muslims. This is wrong information that can cause a negativity and confusion. May Allah guide us and help us be better Muslims 🙏

Amazin app. This app has really strengthened my relationship with Allah and helped me stay consistent with my prayers. Without this app, I wouldn’t be able to tell what th prayer times were and resort to google (and if you seen it before, you’d know it isn’t a very reliable source when it comes to tjis). The Arian app consists of many different features including the qibla direction, Quran verses, daily dhikr, etc. I would totally recommend downloading this app and it could potentially help you build a stronger relationship with Allah as well! It is not only an app to tell you when asr or isha begins, but rather an app that guides you towards your journey of practicing Islam. Great App to keep your prayers on track. Athan is an awesome and very helpful app to help Muslims keep track of their prayers, the app will give you consistent and accurate notifications of Prayer times which if your Muslim you would know the times of prayers are constantly changing. This is one thing the app is really good at doing keeping track of changing prayer times. Not only does the app help you with your prayers but it will also help you become a better Muslim as the app has daily dua’s but it gives also gives you access to the full Quran with English and Arabic. Lastly it had an Islamic gallery with many inspiring quotes which will make anyone’s day much better.

Best app for Prayers. I love this app soo much. This is simply the best Muslim prayer app. I had Muslim pro before didnt like it as much i love Athan. There are social groups u can also join in the app and you can ask away any inquires you have in those groups. Simply the best. Allahumdulliah i came across this app. 5 stars from me personally. One thing i hate about the app/ needs improvement is that when im listening to the athan if someone calls you cannot continue to hear the athan. It totally goes away i hate when i get calls when im listening the athan and i cannot listen to it anymore. If u can fix this issue it would mean the world to me. Please let us know.

Disappointed. I have had this app for many years and the ads have become too much to handle. I just opened the app in order to check the athan time, and a very inappropriate ad was imbedded on the main page of the app. I am very disappointed to see this kind of stuff being displayed on an app that is supposed to shield us from the haram and is supposed to be a safe space. Especially when people of all ages use this app. I was about to purchase the app in order to remove the ads, only to read reviews saying that you must restore your purchase every once in a while. This is supposed to be an app people can use to turn to Allah (swt). I am very disappointed in this exploitation of our religion and ummah. I understand that ads are needed to make money, however the least you could do is give people some peace of mind after purchasing the app. Unless these issues (which many people have complained about) are fixed, then i will not be using this app anymore.

The Ads. I can’t. I wanted to love this app. Functionally, it is perfect. But the ads have ruined it completely. I don’t write reviews. Even if it’s bad I don’t ride reviews. It’s a hassle. But people need to know. I got 3 ads in under a minute. And this is me trying to listen to the Quran recitation. Like how can you have an app with the Quran and have a ad pop-up every 15-20 seconds while the recitation is going on? Do they have an ad quota that they need to fill each day? Gah. It’s so horrible. So I tried to use the app after putting my phone on airplane mode (after downloading the surah I was trying to listen to), but the app just crashed and wouldn’t let me listen. And as soon as I turned on my network data, I immediately got an ad. This app is infuriating. I now believe the main purpose of the app is to make money. I wouldn’t mind paying money. Sure. But at what expense? That they’ve made it so you’re completely infuriated? I’m deleting the app. I just needed to write this so other people aren’t misled with the high rating and reviews like I was. (I recommend Pillars if all you’re looking for is prayer time)

It does what it is supposed to, but I would like to address a few problems.. Aoa my father loves to use this app, and so do I to remind me to pray. I have just turned 13 years old in February. The problem is that there are some inappropriate ads on this app. This is supposed to be an app that helps us get “closer” to Allah (swt). I know you are trying to make money but this is wrong. Secondly, I see all these reviews that say that they paid for no more ads, but the ads are only gone temporarily. Personally I have not checked this out, but I am pretty sure that it doesn’t state that it is temporary. Because of this it is false information, so this probably in the eyes of Allah (swt) may be stealing (just saying I am not sure). Well organized! And has everything. Great app, I use it to know prayer times and for daily dhikr as well. It’s so organized in the athkar and Duaas section, I like it more than other athkar apps, it’s so much easier for me to follow along with. I do think they should update some of the athkar section to include repetitions of certain surahs for example and only a couple of the morning duaas don’t have the repetition needed for some, like some need to be said around 3-10 times, but otherwise it’s great! There’s a recording for everything from Duaa’s to Quran, so you can play a specific verse or duaa or have the whole surah playing one after another, you can pause and skip to certain verses at any point, I love that about the app. Because at times I only need help reading certain verses and know how to read the rest so it’s better than playing a whole video and skipping through to find the specific verse you need help reading. It also has a Qibla finder included. There’s just so many good features on the app. Only thing I don’t like is the ads but I’ve been trying the free trial on their premium. Their no ad premium should be cheaper, or free because why are they monetizing off of a Muslim app? I’d hope the money is atleast going to good causes

Disparages Entire Historical Sects of Islam. UPDATE: the interface now works again. However, they post little stories every day with snippets of information and them selling products. Nothing less than pure capitalism. One of today’s, denounced a historic form of prayer performed by Sufis. Very disappointing to hear. This app is nothing but Wahabi nonsense. I only wish I hadn’t paid for a year of pro in advance because I will no longer be using this app that diminishes the beauty of the diversity of Islam. The interface has had a complete revamp this past week. However the app is now useless. After opening the app and pressing any icon to engage with, the app freezes and auto-closes. I am very disappointed as the app worked perfectly fine before the update and I paid for a full year of an app that has stopped working. Please provide an update to fix this bug ASAP.

Having this many ads should be haram. I understand the app creator wants to generate revenue through ads, but the amount of ads and how they’re displayed is astoundingly asinine. There’s no reason why an ad should pop up that stops everything that you’re doing for about 10 seconds, then allows you to close it, only for another ad to come in <30 seconds later. It seems like the app creator doesn’t respect your time and cares more about generating revenue than creating a good user experience. I’m willing to put up with ads instead of paying, but having ads that are this obnoxious makes me want to do the opposite of support the creator. Also, if you don’t open the app for a while, you stop getting notifications for prayer times. That’s also very suboptimal.

Reminds me for salah all the time!!!!. Great app and you have to download it if you want to pray on time and even if you don’t pray on time, this is a great customisable way of reminding you of Athan, not only that, there’s Quran, Dua, and some tips for Muslims that refresh every day! Although all that is very nice, one thing I want you to fix is the fact that even though my notifications are open and Athan is open for all 5 prayers, sometimes it doesn’t even do Athan which makes me pray late which I don’t like so I kindly ask Athan to fix this bug for me and everybody else so we could pray on time 🕰️. iOS 14 Widget Request. I’ve been using this application for the last seven years, and as a Muslim living in the United States it’s most definitely a life saver! The only thing that’d make this the most perfect Muslim phone companion application is to add the option for a widget, considering the vast support for them on this new iOS 14 version. Imagine how awesome it’d be to be able to see all five prayers times, which Aya you’re on, the daily dua, or a Qibla compass (not sure the specifics if that’s programmable or not using the sensors on the Home Screen.)The possibilities of such a small addition would be endless, and would definitely give this Athan app a much better advantage than the other ones out there. Shorts got out of hand. Mashallah this app is amazing has everything you need but today one of the shorts was making a mirror design with clay and the song when I shazamed it, it was rated E. What I don’t understand is that there were some other shorts that pop up sometimes that have a sheikh saying that listening to music is haram. And in this video almost at the end it had them saying the f word. Now this is also haram and there is a short saying that from mufti menk. I would recommend checking the shorts before putting them up for everyone to see and hear. Also I do really like the shorts so don’t remove them entirely. Maybe actually just add more and make it endless😁thank you jazakullah . Stop with the ads. Look, this app has helped me become a better Muslim and May Allah reward the developers behind this app but the ads are so annoying especially when your looking for a dua or reading the Quran or even just checking how long till the next prayer. During Ramadan it’s crucial we know exactly how many minutes/seconds left till fajr so we can finish whatever we’re eating/drinking. How am I supposed to know how long there is till fajr when an ad will pop seconds before and I have to stop drinking my glass of water to close the ad 😐😐. I think there is a Hadith that states; past fajr your allowed to finish whatever you have in your mouth or hand but I personally prefer to finish everything the second before fajr starts. Simply just ask for a donation instead of making money from these ads, pretty sure most aren’t useful to us anyways

if muslim. how was your prayer times and even alarm you so that you know what time is for prayer if you are a Muslim you're not if you're a Christian or any other religion then you don't need this app but if you are a Muslim, this is very helpful because it actually tells you an alarm when it's time for prayer and there is Quran where you can read and so many other stuff I'm telling you if you're a Muslim, you should get this app is a better app called Quran Majid if you get that app, it's much better This app also has doors, but the other one is much better, but guess this one's also good. So if I was you, I'd buy both if you're a Muslim if you're not if you're a Christian or any other religion, don't get this.

Was one of my favorite apps. I used this app for years and it has been one of my favorites. I even love that they now have the excused prayers ability. I enjoy being able to log my prayers and it has always been my go to, until recently. I have stopped getting notifications for my prayers, no beep, vibrate or athan. Everything the customer service asked me to do has already been done and I have gone in to settings so many times to double check everything. I have deleted and reinstalled the app so many times since this issue started and still it has not resolved. A lot of the times I rely on the notifications, so that I can complete my prayers in time. It is is my audible reminder that no matter how busy I am, I need to take myself away from all matters and come perform my prayers. I hope there is a fix to this, in sha Aallah soon. Allah reward you for your efforts, I know in sha Allah you will find a solution. I saw another review mentioning the same issue, so I feel a little relieved that it’s not only me. I am now using another app to alert me for my prayers and then logging them in here.

The best app ever!!!. So overall the experience is wonderful at first the adds were killing me so I decided to use the deal they had for Ramadan which is $5.99 a year or 99 cent each month!!! Honestly what’s $5.99 a year? Prayer tracker glitches and issues for sisters. Salam! This app is overall amazing. I love the features. Features such as the prayer tracker, gallery, Quran, community and qibla. These are so helpful and useful and are just spectacular. But there are a few issues with the prayer tracker. It works amazing and it pleasing to the eye but there are some problems and inconveniences. For starters, the punctuality badges do not work. When you go to the prayer tracker for the day and scroll down, you can see it always deletes the data from 5 days before. So it never shows a full week, even if you had been praying, because the last 2-3 days are always being deleted. The punctuality badges aren’t unlocked because of this. Once you fix this, there is still a major problem for the sisters. As you know, we are excused from praying for a week every a month. That means most of us never pray more than 3 weeks in a row. We can never get to or past the one month badge. There should be a way we can mark that we are excused. Or maybe a way for a period tracking app, such as Flo or Clue, to be connected to this app. The badges are just badges and are not that important but they are still helpful and motivational. Please consider these fixes. Thank you so much for making this app which has assisted many people, including myself, onto the right path. JazakAllah Khair, may Allah SWT bless us all.

Great App for Muslims. Great app and had been using it for years. I love the Quran and translations, the dua section, and how you can keep track of your prayers and fasting. The only issue I have is with bookmarking the duas. Every time a dua is saved/bookmarked, 2 or 3 of the same dua are saved (i think it is because the duas are in the other sections too e.g. home, prayer, forgiveness). If you save 5 duas, there can be 15 duas on the bookmark list but they are all the repetition of the 5 duas you had saved. Minor issue for an amazing app. Hope this makes sense and developer can fix it. Keep up the good work and hope Allah will shower all of yous with barakah.

As a Muslim teen the Athan app has not only inspired to continue praying in times of both good and bad but it has also provided me a platform upon which I can deeply connect with my religion. Alhamdulilah. The transliteration, translation and the original Arabic for the Dua and the Quran helps me increase my knowledge and freely access and read comfortably. The best App ever. Allhumdullila! I need to thank the creator of Athan for making such a wonderful app. It has made me a better Muslim. It heavily rely on the Athan time of the app for offering my prayers. It had in built Quran, qibila finder. One of the best features is the “dua of the day”. When the reminder pops up I quick recite the dua and I know that’s one good deed I did or the day to please Allah. During Ramadan, they released a Ramadan book which updates with specific tasks and duas u can do for Ramadan. Highly recommend using Athan compared to other apps out there.

Wish I could less than 1. The amount of stupid advert this app can show is beyond believe. In a 5 minute wait to Azan, this app had shown more than 10 ads. It’s practically a money sucking magnet for the developers who have no sense of humility to make it either free or do the right thing and make it less advert oriented. Things are better when you pay a subscription fee like with any other apps. I repeat there is no one time fee just yearly subscription. Full on greedy

Adds have finally become unbearable.. I’ve been using this app from Islamic Finder for a very very long time, but unfortunately, I’m now looking for an alternative. The constant ads have become very annoying, and what’s worse is that they often come back with sound, even after closing them. The paid version is relatively expensive with monthly or annual charges, and even then it is not truly ad-free. On the positive side, Al-hamdulillah the inappropriate ads seem to have disappeared, and the settings allow you to adjust the Islamic calendar, which is useful. And I use the qibla direction feature a lot when traveling. Nevertheless, the ad annoyance has reached its limit, and I’m now scouting around for another adhan app. I regret that I ever updated the app which is when all the issues started.

Read the Quran and whoever made this app, I pray for him. I am 14 years old. Sometimes, I have doubts, but the Quran has always spoken the truth. No man or woman has found pure evidence that contradicts it. The Quran has proven to be true multiple times, even when scientists have challenged its claims. For example, when Einstein referred to his greatest blunder, he admitted that his theory suggested the universe is expanding, a concept the Quran had stated thousands of years earlier. Modern scientists have confirmed that the Quran is indeed correct, and the universe does expand.

Amazing, if only.... Asalamu Alaykum Let me just head right in. This app is everything I have been looking for. I love it how it has the Quran and the translation, I love it how is has Duas, how it monitors your prayers, however the only thing that really hindered the experience was that for a couple of weeks now, it has randomly frozen. When I open the app it happens or when I click the Quran section on the bottom or anything else, it always freezes. It is incredibly incredibly incredibly frustrating and inshallah you can fix this issue as soon as you possibly can

So far so good. Everything about this app is great, the ads aren’t that annoying, they show up when u have the app running and ur afk, I’d like to see more sources for every dua, instead of just one source, this way I can check a bunch of sources for their authenticity, that’s pretty much it.

Excellent- it more than an APP. You have almost everything you need on the one app. Your prayer times, Quran, qibla direction, duas for each day. You can watch Mecca directly-online. Very useful and fun.. The part where I can track how often and much I pray and me given badges, helps me engage in praying and pray more. Also, I love the feature with Quran and the translation which helps me learn the Quran and read it together. It is a really useful and nice app, I recommend everybody (muslims or even people who want to learn about islam) should download it.

New Update. Adding the goals section was a nice touch, although I do wish the old layout would be brought back, additionally providing a subheading for each bookmarked dua would help (e.g. if my bookmarked dua is about increasing knowledge, it should say so instead of it being hard to find when there are many duas saved; subheadings would make my bookmarked duas easy to navigate), furthermore, adding a dark mode feature would enhance the overall app. Overall, the update is okay, although adding the extra features mentioned would enhance the overall experience. This app is amazing. You don’t understand how much this app helped me. Alhamdullah because of this app I have been doing my 5 daily prayer, and it’s so supportive, not only does it have prayers time but also Quran with transliteration like how good can an app be, also it has any dua you want. Awesome app however ads ruin it!. Athan is my favourite Salah time app, on top of that it has many other features which are extremely useful however, every single time I go on an ad comes up, this is extremely frustrating when you really just want to see the Salah times. I would pay premium to remove the ads however having a monthly subscription is just not going to work for me, I’d rather do a one time payment but that doesn’t exist. Anyway great app overall just ads can be really annoying!

PLEASE READ. I have already written a review once before (I’m not sure if I just deleted that but my problem was solved anyway). So I love this app. It gives you a dua, Hadith ad ayah of the day sometimes even quotes. There’s one problem though. Or actually two. I’m logged in on this app on my phone and iPad but they don’t sync. And the Athan notifications aren’t going through even though they’re turned on.

Unsatisfied. I do not like receiving notifications other than those for Athan times. It’s incredible how you can turn off notifications even for Athan, which is the app's primary purpose. Still, you can't choose to turn off other notifications, such as reminders to complete your Dhkier, and so forth. I have been using this app for years and wouldn’t like to switch to other apps, but it seems I will have to. I sent similar feedback months ago, and they replied that they would send my feedback to address my point in the next update. But nothing changed; only more notifications I didn’t choose to receive. Also, I did not even receive a repose this feedback regarding the above comment when I sent it to support team, which led me now to rate the app poorly

THE MONTH OF ADVERTISEMENTS APPARENTLY. To preface, this is a beautiful app. All the features are amazing and conveniently all in one app. HOWEVER, it is extremely disappointing when you open an app meant to help you navigate your deen yet get bombarded with multiple ads - some which are presenting the most random and lowkey weird content. Even to simply check prayer times - I have to bypass two firewalls (ads) all which I could have checked in a shorter amount of time on google. I understand the reason for the advertisements - yet the amount of them on an application that states “spend your Ramadan 2026 with ease “ and “spend your maximum time in Ibadah with Adthan” wallah I think I spent more time crossing the ads that appear then doing Ibadah and it’s lowkey not giving me ease. An app like this should be free and easily accessible for everyone and all users who want to increase their deen at the convenience of an all inclusive app rather then pay for a yearly subscription. It is already a great reward you receive in Allah eyes from everyone who downloads this application, which greatly outweighs the amount you receive from promoting people to purchase an ad free version for convenience. Too many ads! Even with premium!!?. I love this app and have been using it for years. Even have the premium subscription- BUT now they are asking for extra payment for ads to be removed - which I thought and they advertise as being an added bonus to having premium (no ads)- so I would NOT recommend anyone purchase the premium until they rectify this problem. Unfortunately I already paid the subscription for the whole year so cant easily cancel- waiting to hear back from my email and inshallah they can fix this issue as Athan is such a great app and it would be shame to stop using because too many ads pop up every other minute

Best app for Muslim. When I travel I always need to know where quibla direction for praying is and the time of prayer of the place I’m visiting, and this app work perfectly! You can also read different dua, read the Coren. Only negative is some adverts here and there, but rather than this I recommend this app :) Peace

Bring Back Prayer Logs. I have loved using this app for a long 6 years but recently the app has tried to become a social media site with stories or “highlights”. I didn’t mind because the prayer logs were the only thing i really wanted, but now they’ve changed the interface entirely so you can only log one day (and as someone who forgets to log my prayers) this is beyond frustrating. It says you can technically log the previous 3 days (which is way less than the initial 7 days) but the section that the FAQs said would help you do that is completely missing. Islamicfinder needs to focus on creating an app that actually addresses Muslim voices rather than just become another muslim social media site to battle with Muslim Pro. Know your niche and stick to it.

athan app ✩. Asalamwalikum, Alhamdullilah, Athan is a wonderful app! I believe that every Muslim must use this app. We can learn various Dua’as and new surahs and ayahs. I enjoy that when you study the Quran (in Athan) , there is Arabic, the transliteration and translation, that makes it so much more easier for me the memorise the Quran; I also enjoy that Athan provides the Qibla direction! I would like if Athan would reduce the amount of ads because there a shown was memorising the Quran, memorising Dua’as and when checking the times of prayer(s). Add transliteration jazakAllah. Fantastic app. Although if you could please provide transliteration for the Arabic so that dua’s can be read as not everyone has Arabic as there language. Why doesn’t the Athan play full? One more thing we should have options of different screens or colours. Inshallah but a great app.

Hi guys if you release new features like goals settings let the user decide if they want to receive extra notifications per day - for me it was actuualy annoying and further it is not intuitive to try to find out how to even turn it off - which via the new Goals item Thank you

Excellent app to use. I enjoy using this app as it has in built compass that allows me to face the direction of the Qibla while performing salah and when it’s prayer time the Atan goes off. The app is excellent as it has the Quran chapters and you can download them in multiple languages. Everything you require to be a more religious Muslim is in this app including festivals, Duas, daily prayers, Azkar, occasional prayers. The prayer app has a goal style approach that congratulates you on prayers etc. I never used to use the prayer apps previously when I was growing up as I used to write all the times for prayer using paper and pen. I only started using the app recently because previously I had all the prayer times printed off for me. It is easier to use the app as it has everything digital. Including the Quran

Very helpful!. The dua and menstrual section are especially helpful! Some feedback- during Ramadan the app had a competition, that whoever fasted the whole month of Ramadan, they’d have a chance to win an umrah trip. Did you forget that women of childbearing age cannot fast the whole month? Next time, please consider all genders of the ummah who use your app and include them in your competitions

Lovely. Hello I am a 12 year old girl who is new to praying to Allah. This app helped me because it wan hard for me to do all my 5 prayers. I started ticking all of the prayer circle thingy and now since 3 months I haven't missed any prayer. I also learned some new soorahs and what's. Ads keep popping up. Masya Allah the app is really great but seriously while one is reading the Quran, ads keep popping up and it doesnt go back to my current ayah. If it’s a long surah then I have to scroll back all the way down to the ayah I was on. Please, users will enjoy the app more if you make reading Quran part free from ads that pop out every 5 minutes or so.

For this App. I don’t usually pay for Apps but I am happy to pay for the premium version because this is the main Muslim App that I use as a convert/revert to learn all the different Du’a for all occasions and reasons. Athan. This app helps me and my family to pray on time specially when we are having family conversations and my phone is near me it’s goes straight to Athan when it’s the time of the prayer. Great app really recommend it

Great app for the believers!. I have been using this about 10 years, since the earliest desktop version. This is a great app to keep the brother and sisters of islam to auto reminders about salat/prayers time. Also many features for daily context.

Its either unintentional or the app have been exposed to external malicious actors, either way it worrying that dev could send notifications on demand, if thats possible then the app could be abused in malicious actions.

Great. Thank you for creating the Aathan App. I’ve been using it for several years, and it’s truly a must-have for Muslims living in Australia. The features are excellent, and I really appreciate the countdown option you recently added. However, I think the home page could be simplified to show only essential information like the countdown and prayer times—or perhaps give users the option to customize the home screen to suit their preferences. I also use the Quran feature daily, but the ‘Quran Academy’ pop-up can feel a bit disruptive for regular users. It would be great if the bookmarked Surahs could play one by one, instead of automatically moving to the next Surah after the bookmarked one. Overall, it’s a fantastic app, and I pray Allah rewards you with paradise for your effort!

Remove ad!. I don't have an issue with the app itself but the ads are really offensive. It's either sexual or gambling. It's really offensive when you are trying to open a religious app and the ad just pops up without the option to close it right away, I don't know if there is a way to control this, but you should really remove those ads.

Disappointed. I’ve been a long time paid user of this app but after all these years this app has constantly gone downhill. From the hard to use UI (prayer times are behind a click which takes time to load) to basic mistakes (my app shows incorrect times, Isha happening before maghrib for example, and the feature where you select angles says Fajr twice instead of Fajr and Isha) to the lack of customer support to the strange community notifications coming through even though I’ve disabled them. I’m finally uninstalling this app as it doesn’t seem to be getting the attention it deserves.

Get the ‘Azkar’ app instead. i’ve never written a review before until now. i’ve been using this app for years and my god it’s so annoying. every 2 seconds you get an ad. you go on the app to check prayer times and you get an ad instead. recently the app has been extremely slow as well and for just wanting to know the prayer times, it’s unacceptable. get the ‘Azkar’ app instead. 0 ads, it tells you the prayer times even when your phone is OFF so you don’t even need to go on the app unless you need to find the qibla. i can’t believe how many years i wasted on this trash. the people who run this app are the greediest people i’ve ever come across. imagine taking money from your muslims brothers just for giving them prayer times. la hawla wala quwata illa billah

"To do" animation freezes app. SOFTWARE BUG EXISTING FOR A LONG TIME: When opening the app the "To do" animation at the top of the screen lags, and you can't do anything in the app. Then after 10 seconds it unfreezes. Please fix this, it is so annoying! Other than that, nice app.

Questionable advertisements. The app itself is great. But I feel that there should be a mindfulness to some of the ads that are being displayed within the app. Most of them have a sexual nature, or are related to gambling or some other haram source. I have no problems with ads... but I do have a problem with something Islamic being used as a platform to broadcast haram things. Make your money but be mindful and aware of which companies you allow to broadcast and what they broadcast to muslims when they are trying to find the time of prayer. I understand that I can Pay to have the ads removed but I shouldn’t have to pay to not see haram things within an Islamic app.

Great tools for prayer time. Very helpful in Canada specially, the prayer time keep changing daily basis. I rely it all the time, especially in Ramadan.

Q. I’m not sure if this is me or the app, when I m trying to read Quran or a verse or a dua just in the middle a bikini ad invade the page I have to wait until the ad is finished. Sorry but this is the truth I hope they will correct it.

Too Laggy. I have to open the app, close it and then open it otherwise it does not let me click on anything. If I want to go to the prayer section, then I must do this about two times and if I need to go to the Quran section, then three. Had trouble turning my premium back on. Love this app but i struggled finding the restore purchases button. I wish it it was a little bigger so i could see it otherwise i would have had to subscribe to the premium again. Other than that i love this app and i use it effectively to teach new muslims. Oh yea and if i could pull the duas to make my own prayers and save them to my phone that would be great. It would help me to teach other non Muslims as they get very confused with so many words on their screen. Great app. Edit: changed from 3 stars to 5 stars because the developer replied and informed me that this notification is required every few days, otherwise the iPhone will disable the notifications for the app. So it’s necessary to have. Original review: First I’d like to mention that this is just a small suggestion. Overall, I’m satisfied with Athan. I chose it after sampling several other apps. My comment is regarding a notification that says “we’ve missed you, launch Athan and recharge your Iman” that appears every few days. I use the app as an alarm for prayer times and there’s no need for me to ever open it after I’ve set it up. I paid to remove ads and I deactivated all other notifications to reduce any rings aside from the actual athan. But I still get this one. It would be great if we had the option to deactivate this notification as well.

Amazing App. I personally love this app. It helps me remember to pray and it teaches me to be a better muslim. I also love this app because it can track your period and it can give you Quran lessons! Although the notifications and adds are a little bit much, i still love the Athan app. You can log in your prayers and can watch islamic shorts. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah this app is very helpful and beneficial, it makes it really easy to stay consistent with Amal Assalihat, like dhikrs and more, and read Quran wherever with such a good format, I also love how it gives guides on hajj and umra and has almost anything you’d want, the videos are also great. But the only problem that I have with it is the ads, I feel that these ads are made to force people to pay when not everyone has that ease to pay, and it’s a bother and distraction when you’re trying to get close to Allah, please give us more ease on this.

Too many Basic Issues. Maybe I’m the only one but I’ve had the full iOS version of this app for a long time now and it seems like the problems are getting worse and worse. All I want is for the app to make athan when it’s time, that’s it - nothing else, and it fails in that consistently; daily. I have all notifications set to audible, and execute the app every other day and even then it won’t give me an audible; especially maghrib. I have even kept the app open with nothing else running just before time for athaan; it skips the audible and will just show the text “it’s time for xyz”. Highly frustrating. I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro Max and am current on iOS.

Notifications Don’t Work. I’ve had this app for a few years and this past year, the notifications do not work. I no longer get notifications on my phone for when to pray which defeats the whole purpose of the app. This was especially a problem in Ramadan for the Fajr and the Maghrib. Additionally, when I go to open the app for the prayer time, an ad immediately pops up which again is a problem in Ramadan when you’re on a time crunch and want to check the Fajr. Every upgrade, I was hoping they would fix these issues but they have not. Unfortunately, I will have to delete this app and look for one that can at least notify me when to pray (the bare minimum from an Athan app).

Problem in hours. Hello! I really love your app and appreciate how it reminds me of prayer times throughout the day. I just wanted to let you know that the Adhan times from Asr to Isha seem to be off by about an hour here in New York. For example, the app shows Maghrib around 6 p.m., but sunset here is closer to 8 p.m. I double-checked with local sunset times, and it looks like the app might be subtracting an hour. If you could adjust the times or allow more location-based accuracy, that would be amazing. Thank you so much for your efforts!

Ads are irritating. This App is excellent. But as this is an Islamic app and it carries the most valuable book (Quran) in the world and so many important Islamic features are available you people shouldn’t put ad for this app. Many Muslims are interested in this well decorated app but it is very sin full when I am reading my holy book suddenly ads came up. Which ruin our attentiveness of reading Quran. And you know Quran is matter of full attentiveness. Better for the sake of Muslim and the Quran you should remove all kind of ads and improve the apps daily as much as you can. Also it would be better if we could hear Telwat using your app.

Very fulfilling and amazing app. I just upgraded to add free one and it is been long time since I was using the free one, it has adds playing on and off and it was really annoying so decide to upgrade to premium y da package of it add free version. So far so good that I am delighted with app and it is functionality and ease of use of f it. The only thing that I need to figure how to set up the time difference between Hanafi mazhab and others, I live in USA, since I am follower of the Hanafi, it would be the great if developer will answer this question how to do it. I would recommend this app to all.

Great app, just one thing. I love all the features of this app and have bought the yearly subscription. However, the prayer stats are one day off. Today is Monday, but when I check off the bubbles, the bar goes up for Sunday. It has been doing this for a few days now where the stats are one day in the past. I’ve also had some issues where the stats would randomly disappear and I’d have to re-enter them. I’d greatly appreciate it if these issues were addressed.

Pray 5 times. I’m trying my best to pray 5 times a day, and this app helps me keep track. I really like it. I haven’t seen flaws, so far. For sure download. Update!! I’ve noticed that it also has the Hijra calendar, and events that are happening, which I love. It also has images that you can save. Lastly, it has the Quran, and you can learn from it. May I request you please for adding one more option? Temporary flagging of Aya while reading a Surah for a quick break or side reading/writing or researching would be of a great help. Yes, bookmark serves the purpose but it needs to undo bookmarking and requires more number of clicks. Flagging and unflagging can be readily done by one click each and with choice of colours may be. Amazing Mashallah Tabarakallah. Athan has allowed me to progress through my journey as a Muslim significantly. The tasbih is essential when going through journeys, in circumstances where you don’t have any tasbih tally counters or other devices. I like the diverse variety of duas you can use, and the Quran device. Also, the shorts are so helpful to be updated on gentle reminders, a moment of peace with the Quran, athkar or dua, or even the political stances. I really like this app, and Alhamduilah it is very addictive. I love this app so much!!

Room for improvement. This app is pretty good but I have a few issues. The athan for Fajr does not always play correctly. Many times it misses the part “As-salatu khairun min an-nawm.” Also, there should be an option to play the whole athan from the lock screen instead of just the first part and not have to actually open the app. Lastly, I like the salah tracker function but it would be nice to be able to go back further than just one week. I’d like to see monthly or even yearly trends. Maybe you can even add extra tracking questions like if the prayer was performed on time or in congregation or at a masjid...these are minor changes but they’d help. Thanks for a great app.

Amazing!. I’ve been using this app for a couple years now and the constant improvements they develop like the pink guide, Umrah/Hajj guide is so amazing and helpful! They Salat alerts and tracking Salat is so efficient. Something I would really like is if we can view ours Salat trackings, bc I would really like to know when I something don’t pray or forget to pray so I can sort of make up or become more careful of my Salat. Otherwise this APP is the GREAT! All my family members & friends use it❤️. Thank you so much for it, it would be difficult (living in the western area) without this guide(app)

Trump Ad. I was shocked to open the Athan App to look at a prayer time and an ad asking for money to support Donald Trump’s Presidential Campaign popped up! If this continues, I will have to spread the word and encourage everyone I can contact to not use your app! I don’t think a Muslim Prayer Times App should support Ads for groups that clearly base their beliefs or even campaigns on ideas against Islam. Even if some were to believe these campaign supporters don’t necessarily demote Islam, It is a fact they are negative towards Muslims and spread islamophobia. The group and their campaign philosophies are against Islamic thinking as well. They discourage supporting or helping the poor, the elderly and many other citizens whom Islam demands we take care for.

Adds in the middle of me reading Quran. Adds keep on coming up while I’m in the middle of me reciting Quran in my prayer so it makes me repeat my whole prayer because I lost focus and peace in my mind which is so frustrating and annoying, I’ve been using this app for years and since you done the update I get adds popping up every 5 seconds so I stopped using your app and started using another app that respects the fact that you can’t interrupt someone who is reciting Quran in his his prayers. I understand the fact that you need the adds to support this free app but at least take them off from the Quran section it’s so disappointing and disrespectful to keep interrupting someone while reading Quran from the app.

It used to be so much better. I’ve been using the Athan app since late 2017 and I’ve always loved it. However, I don’t like how they removed the loggings of the prayers from the previous days. Sometimes I forget to log my prayers in the app and a few days pass by till I remember so that I can log the prayers in that I’ve prayed from before. Now that has been removed and I find it very silly for y’all to do this and very unacceptable. The previous versions of the Athan app was so much better than this version and it makes it hard for me to understand.

Great App. To all of the people in the comments that are complaining about the app because of the ads I have something to say to you. The people that developed this app spend time and money to share such an amazing app that reminds us to stop what we are doing and say a dua or go to pray. In order for them to be able to deliver this app to free to us they have to use ads to cover costs of the app. To remove the adds pay the $4 that I did! It’s only $4 and we all know we spend $4 on coffee or other items SPEND IT ON THIS INSTEAD ONE DAY!

Good but needs some improvement. Love the idea of the app and how it sends you reminders often. I struggle with praying on time and it’s constant reminders really helps me. that being said i think the app could use small updates, maybe more customization - like being able to change the image on the widget or what kind of facts show up on the main page. It could also have a section about the sunnah or education about Islam and certain things you can do everyday to improve as a muslim. overall though love this app!

Best app ever!. This is the best app for checking Athan times , Duas and so much more! This app even has the whole Quran WITH English translation! And it encourages you to pray, read Quran, and make dua with authentic hadeeth! there’s also this feature about rewarding badges, If you pray (for example) 5 prayers, you get a badge! It’s hard to miss a prayer with an easy reminder like this one. Favorite app. Assalamualaikom! I’ve been using the Athan app for 4 years and each year it’s getting better. I love the new Ramadan update, it is so nice. I love the new 30 days 30 deeds thing too. Me and my cousin enjoy doing the 30 deeds thing. I also like the bookmarks and the Qari’s who can read to us. I’m on the 4th Juz and so far, it is so helpful. I like everything except the fact that their are too many ads and some are inappropriate. Besides that, the app is great and I give it 5 stars. Keep it going guys and Inshallah you will be the best Quran app in the world.

Useful AZAN. Very helpful because it reminds me the times of prayers, .Living in a place with non Muslim. Alhamdulillah. This is a really good app. Amazing. It’s features are nice, it’s easy to access system is nice. You can access prayer times through the whole year, daily dua and dikir, and even have a favorites section. But like all apps it has one thing that is kind of bothersome and that is ads, yes I know that’s how they get paid and am not totally against all ads, just the ones that have haram stuff. Assalamu alikum, this app deserves a five star review, it’s helpful, nice options for whether you want to do tasbih, listen to the Quran without internet and with English translation, share the 99 names of Allah SWT (which will guarantee you Jannah if you memorize or if someone else does because of you) it’s honestly a very convenient app, only problem I have with it is that it has no dark mode options to my knowledge and the app could be designed a little better in my opinion but overall a really good app for a Muslim who wants to stay on track with their deen.

The ads completely ruin the purpose of this app. I appreciate the effort that went into this app, and I really wanted to use it. But the ads are way too frequent — they completely disrupt the experience. I was using the Tasbih counter and after every 10 repetitions, an ad would pop up. It broke my focus and ruined the whole point of doing dhikr. I understand the need to monetize, and I’m not against paying for a good app. But this felt like the priority was money, not the user experience. It’s discouraging and upsetting, especially when it affects something spiritual. I’ve since downloaded other apps, but I wanted to share this because it made me feel like the developers don’t genuinely care about the users — just the profits. Please consider finding a better balance

I am glad I found this app. This app is a good peek into the Muslim Believer habits and understanding. I realize the complexity of religion but I like using this app to mark how many time a day I think about and pray to my Father who is the one eternal I Am. I even match up with the prayer calls sometimes. It is also pleasing to see so many thoughtful prayer messages I can use for all earthly reasons when I feel at a loss for words. I only score this app four stars because I received zero instances of the word messenger or messiah when I used the search bar. Otherwise, I am satisfied.

Great app, but.... This app has many amazing features to keep you interactive while you perform acts of worship. It rewards you with badges if you pray your 5 daily prayers and during Ramadan it keeps you active in doing extra deeds. We all want to brag on our social media about the things we do in our daily life, why not post your hard work that you do as a Muslim so that it may encourage others to do it. Please control frequency of the adds, we know it’s a free version but adds pop up too many times while you are trying to log your progress and it gets in the way. I will give 5 stars when I see some progress from the developers side. Thank you for the great app.

Glitches on daily prayer log. I really love this app ; only confusing thing is I purchased the app when you simply paid one price for the full version. Now it’s stating upgrade to premium. I have family sharing and it doesn’t matter that I’m have the full version of the app it’s always giving ads on my family’s phones. Only recently I’m dealing with glitches on the daily prayer log . It’s a day ahead; when I try to correct it. It wipes out my daily prayer log. Any chance do fix these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Informative and keeps me accountable!. I had the free version of this app however after a few months of reaping the benefits it provides I now pay for it. I love the alerts, the reminders, and the accountability it provides me. It consistently scheduled as a reminder for me to be Thankful for every blessing that Allah has provided and to the ray to Allah for forgiveness. A recent article that popped up about 5 reasons one should never miss Fajr prayer was so eye opening. Inshallah I will not miss Fajr prayer ever again.

Good App for people who are trying to start Islam. I am a Muslim however I have difficulties trying to learn the way of the Muslim life however this app is very useful for many things like learning how to make dua and knowing when the next prayers are. It’s also great bc you can keep track of your prayers and make sure you are always praying to Allah. Not only that but the app is in English and Arabic as well so you won’t have trouble trying to learn how to make dua in Arabic. To sum it up I honestly recommend this app for beginners and also pros because of all the useful things it offers.

App is good but the purchase didn’t work!. I’ve been using this app for a long time. I am very happy with this app. May Allah give the developers the best rewards. I thought purchasing this app would help the developers a little bit to keep a good app running. So I opted for an upgrade to the premium version. Sadly, I didn’t get the premium version but my money is gone. The app showed me some error message during the process. In fact, I’m not complaining about the money; I don’t know where the money went.

New UI is not great. I’ve been using the app for a while and aH until this most recent update it was quite good. I think the developers have tried to go beyond their limits and have added a number of different features. I think this app is really meant to be quite simple, to give you prayer timings in a near, organised, aesthetic way, and allow you to track those prayers. They’ve tried to create an all in one hub, and they’ve removed simple features like widgets with prayers timings which was much of why I used this app. Will not be renewing my subscription in the future as it’s become an overload of an app.

Love this app. Started using this app from last two months. What I love about this app is even its free app version but still not too much ads like on the competition and easy to use and setting are easy to manage. User interface is simple and nice. Dua and Al-Quran sections are great. Loving this app. And there are few things if they are addressed properly it’s a much more beneficial than before which are prayer time settings a bit of correction, bugs in dua section and last thing missing recitation Quran. Best Muslim App!. Athan is one of the best Muslim apps. Not only does it do the Athan, but it has so many features. You can read Quran, and have many duas to read. The duas are perfect for every occasion and situation, depending on what you want exactly. There is a Ramadan challenge, the 99 names of Allah and there meanings, the qibla direction, and many guides for hajj and others. So many endless options on this app. It can even se d you notifications throughout the day if you like to pray, read Quran, read specific duas, and much more! This app is such a nice app to connect with Allah, even when your on the go.

Greta Athan. Update 2024: the developers really listen to us customers. They added the menstruation thing after I recommended it. I pay the $12 a year because I want to support Muslim developer thank you!! Old: I love this app because it plays the athan on time for every prayer. It only plays up to Allahu Akbar then stops which is a great reminder while on the go. I wish there was an option for women to block off the week where we cannot pray so we don't lose days. Keep it up!

Best athan app out there. Best athan app, the most reliable one so far. I love it so much. It had duas you can learn and you can read the quran in arabic and english translation. Its so hepful. I have learned handfull of duas from this. It tells you the perfect prayer times and it has amazing features! It even has a daily prayer log and it really makes me look forward towards filling it out and if i pray 5 times a day i keep adding to the prayer log and i get badges to celebrate me doing salat on a streak!

there is a problem. i like this application so much and i really want to thank the developer for it but there is a problem maybe it is because of my phone but i’m not sure, i’m using iphone 5s, i cant update this application to the latest version, and the application doesn't alert or give me notifications of the Athan, and my timer seems to be stuck to Fajr tho i tried many times to adjust the timer and the location and also i reseted the application and even deleting it and reinstalled it, i hope this problem to be fixed because i really want to enjoy it, thank you

Notifications out of control. This used to be the best Athan app and I believe it still has potential because of robustness of the actual prayer times functionality (really the basis of the app). However lately the app has been overloading my phone with excessive notifications about things that I do not use. People generally only need notifications for prayer times. But there is no way to turn off all the promotional and auxiliary notifications. There needs to be a way to limit the notifications. At this point it is too much. I have emailed the developers with this feedback and was told that such capabilities are coming, but this was months ago. In the meantime I will be canceling my subscription and using a different app.

Most dependable app for salah times during travel and at home. I cannot function without the athaan app, it’s become very important during my daily routine and especially when I travel. From qibla directions to prayer times in different cities, I always reach for this app The new features of setting daily goals is very helpful. I just click the 5 minute Quran recitation goal when I get in the car and it starts playing the Quran from where I left it. JazakAllahu Khairan to the entire team of athaan

AMAZING 🤩 Get this app, NOW. This app is amazing 🤩! I am just a kid and it helps me learn everything, I do not know fluent Arabic, so I don’t know the Quran much well, so I use this app to help me translate! We also have a cleaning lady that comes every Monday and she always meses up the Qibla direction ( plus something I ACCIDENTALLY move it.) I also love how you can bookmark pages that you read in the Quran! I always send the Dua’s to everyone and I read them a lot Athan is this good and I haven’t even went premium yet! Get this app, it is sooooo good!
