I’m on the keto diet and this app helps me make sure I’m eating 70% fat 20% protein and 5% carbs. I love how it calculates everything for the whole day. Great app!!!
You get a lot with the free version... however, you can not add your own workout routine and that is very very important when tracking calories.
The app is nice but I was suddenly subscribed as a”Gold Member” $48 year-long membership and I not notified until the payment confirmation. I have requested a refund but it’s impossible to talk to a live person. There’s no phone number.

I loved the app but it drained by phone battery like no app has ever done...even after turning off all notifications etc. deleted and my battery has been fine ever since
I went through each field to add a custom recipe and when I hit save it says it cannot process my request. Please correct this issue!!
This app is amazing. It actually will email you what ingredients to get for the weeks and then give you these amazing recipes, simple and healthy. I am so happy I found this app this year. Started on a weight rid journey (I don’t say loss and lost because I know where the pounds are going), I’m on day 10 and already down 11 pounds. Thank you so much! Best find for 2019 !!!

I love using this app as I’m a teen always worried about my body image and this app along with my Fitbit helps me realise that I’m eating what I’m meant to be eating and that my body is healthy.
I have never counted calories before but I need to lose weight and this app lets me know how much I’m eating. It’s fun 🍓Update:- unfortunately most of the foods are American. And I’m surprise how hard it is to find calorie info eg serve of 6 (Sydney rock) oysters! Or sushi. There’s a lot of calorie info on brands (American) but little on simple whole fresh foods.
This app would be so much better if you could measure food out by the gram!!!! This is the only thing stopping me from using this app... Super frustrating.
Not sure if this is just an Australian thing, but doesn’t recognise barcodes of Woolworths products. Going back to old app😞
I really like this app overall however it’s not seamless for Australian residents using it. The majority of foods are not found through barcode scanning or searching which requires details from the nutritional panel to be added.
This app has a lot of bugs that means you can’t count on your data being there. I’ve had a number of occasions when I log in and find my data is gone. It’s the reason I’m not going to upgrade to a paid level. If they can’t deliver a reliable experience at the basic level, I have no confidence in other levels. When it works it’s great but the constant data bugs really impact quality and trust I have in this product.
Will rate five if this gets fixed! After 1 day of using i cant search for any new foods, wont load or present any information other than ones i have already done!!
Following up on my previous review below, it appears that weight value gets corrupted all the time, and that blows all the calories reading out of proportion, as they surely are calculated based on weight. If the app got access to the Health app, then ALL your calories reading are unreal! There are some funny things are going on. Since synchronised between iPad and iPhone my weight jumped to 200kg, but now got even to about 2000kg. Burnt calories the same about 8000cal, impressive. There is somewhere a sync problem between devices (via your server), or/and looping data when exchanging with iPhone Health resources. Would you like to take a look?
I love the app but unfortunately the bar scanner doesn’t seem to work in Australia
The Exercise cannot be edited and beware that although you may choose half an hour of an Activity, the Activity will show the full hour. That said, it’s not difficult adding a new Exercise in timed increments that best suit you. If you are on your own the bed changing may take 15 minutes, however, if you’ve a family of 4 then that Activity is going to take far longer than 1 bed. I’m happy with it although I wish there were foods more to Australia’s supermarket stocks & not the US. And again, although it’s easy enough to ‘Add’ those foods it does become, at times, a bit of a hit-and-miss. In Oz we often have a far wider selection of Apples, for instance. Plus it’s a pain entering every single piece of Aussie foods. I do feel this App relies heavily on the User to ‘add’ rather than being researched and added by the App owner/s or Developers. A little fine tuning is what’s required.
The app does not allow to turn off notifications and when you turn them off it automatically turns them back on. It doesn’t have a lot of food to search from to add to your diary.

I wanted to give the app 5 stars but it crashes sometimes when I try to add food. Other then that I love the interface and it really easy to use. I love that I can scan most foods and have all the data entered. Please fix the crash though. 🙏🏼 I love this app.
I like this app! It’s a lot like my fitness pal in that you can track your food, scan it in, and it has a lot already saved in there. The best part is that, unlike my fitness pal, it shows you your macros without you having to upgrade to the gold membership. It has lots of recipes that are easy, budget friendly, and has the calorie and macro info already done for you so it makes logging easier! The only thing I wish was different is that I wish it were compatible with Fitbit! That would be amazing!! But otherwise, this is a great app and I recommend it!
I absolutely love this app!! I use it faithfully and it really helps me to stay on track with my weight loss and fitness goals. I’m vegan and I love that it has lots of vegan foods in the automatic lists, and is very easy to add foods that I don’t find already listed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I’ve been looking for a replacement for the USDA MyPlate app since they discontinued it. I’ve only recently started using this app but I like the features, it seems to have data on most of the foods I eat, and it’s simple to use. I don’t know if you can build a meal yet, but maybe I’ll figure that out as I use it more. So far so good...
The app never lets you write in your own calorie and macro content. It will always say connectivity error.
I want to start off by saying that this is a great app that has served me well. Unfortunately when I tried to add a new food, the amount of protein, fats, and carbs only showed 1/100th of the true amount.
Like the title said. I love this app. To me, it is laid out better and just easier to navigate than the other top rated meal apps. I do however, like how they have meal ideas now now but I would personally prefer it on its own separate tab at the bottom. Not necessary either way really, just nit picking. I do miss how it used to have how many of the macros you had left remaining for the day after each food entry. It made it easy for me to track and know where I was. Unless it’s still there and I just can’t see/find it. Still the best app in my opinion though.
