Great for a non-geek. Love the anonymous email address for when I must use one even if I just want to comment on a news story. Works great. Also comforting to know "they" can't track me when I click on an advertisement.

Doesn't work. I bought your app and after working for 2-3 days it just stopped working. I am using an ipad. You have to fix the bug that is stopping it from working or give refund to your customers.

Great app but.... This is a great app and it does what it says it will do! The only thing that I would like to see is to be able to view videos within this app.

Updated to iOS 15 and it stopped working. Updated my phone to iOS 15 and now it doesn’t open any websites except the CyberGhost site?! Not sure if it is cached data or live, but it stopped working.

Fantastic for what it is. I guess some ppl can't read, yes it's missing some browser functionality but it never said it had them, I think it is a perfect tool that does exactly what it should, secure & anonymous browsing and if you are living somewhere with enforced firewall that blocks sites like me then this is perfect, this is not to replace your current browser it just compliments it perfectly. I highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates their privacy and needs an easy solution.

Buggy. Love CG VPN, and have been using the vpn for two years now. Thought I would try the browser in my IPAD Pro , which has become my primary work device. Downloaded the browser to try and did not find it usable. Would hang on every other page. The interface is circa 2000 is capability. Very few controls. No easy way to add and manage favorites, no concept or construct for bookmarks at all. config options minimal, drop down menu takes you to 4 options, Page options does not retract 80% of the time on IPad, and doesn’t respond well to mouse controls ( or touch for that matter). Yes it is secure because you can’t use it.

F’n great. Won’t use any other browser now...when the VPN disconnects I don’t have a complete freak out (just minor) episode. Plus no one knows about my off-brand taste in porn thanks to the protected bookmarks 😉

Stopped working; support page not great. I used to love this app... Until it just stopped working altogether. The launch page opens and nothing further, though it appears to try for a second or two. Before posting a critical review like this thought I'd try and report to them first, but if there is a direct contact page/field I sure couldn't find it. The one page I •did• find referencing a Support Department contact misspelled 'departement' which might not be a big deal to some, but when you're talking about issues of privacy and security you kind of want indications of competence - that didn't help the final score here either. Finally, I can't help but wonder if the sudden failure is due to the fact that I have not signed up for an account. If this is a recent attempt to change the model into a ongoing paid subscription service on top of the purchase fee, then the app will stay permanently deleted. (Earlier 4 star review) Recently had all sorts of odd 502 gateway issues from a site I go to regularly; without this excellent proxy browser, I wouldn't be able to open the site at all.

Don't bother. I've used other VPN but was looking for something more stable. This is quite terrible. They suggest posting on a board and waiting for a response before reviewing. That is the 'customer service'. I feel I got doubly duped by buying this AND the CG for my computer which is a MBP. They don't tell you up front that CG doesn't work on the Mac without an elaborate work around with another program. These people are not honest or straight forward. This is my first one start EVER. Quite disappointed.

Full anonymity, great functionality. The hidden IP address is amazing. I love the speed of loading under wifi networks. I am feeling completely safe that nobody is tracking my every move on the internet. It's freeing. I am fully satasfied that this app is one of the best out there.

Did not block any pop ups. This thing could not even block a single pop up when I tried it just now. First site I went to the tab even got hijacked by the ad. What a worthless app. And before anyone asks, yes I had the setting turned on.

Self explanatory. Didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the simplicity involved with searching.

It does what it supposto do , this is a great application.. In order for you to appreciated this app , first you need to understand that your privacy is first, then it uses other routes to get you where you want to go, keeping your privacy in mind or should we said first , then there are some local application that you will not able to use if you have g mail can sing in direct but that is a smal price to paid if you wish to keep your own privacy , but it is a good way to keep things on your own terms i' using the free application but, will go on the premiun soon, love my privacy some love this others do not , technology works when use properly , the hole pour pose is that your surf the net without being monitor , the application does work very well I" may add it keeps you clean of various systems that love to know what ever you are doing in the net , this use with conjunction with your other apps such as Google or safari or other browsers you use , how it works , it droops those peering eyes that look every trail you have or surf in the net by drooping all their cookies some were in the Atlantic or even Google system , it allows you to surf without so much worry or concerned , your location is keep out trails and those peering eyes that want to know your location where you are and we're you are going , technology it has it moments use properly and enjoy it , is worth your time and money , if you like your private world .

Don't buy this app if you have an iPad or iPhone.. After buying this app for my iPad I found out that it does not provide complete anonymity unless you configure your iPad/iPhone in a certain way and enter into a premium subscription. When I sent cyberghost an email asking them how to do this, here is their response: "You need to have a Premium or Premium Plus subscription in order to have access to the Protocols. You need to setup the protocols on your iPad and then surf trough PPTP or L2TP." Why don't they tell you before you buy the app that the app doesn't provide anonymity unless you also pay for a premium subscription and configure your iPad or iPhone in a hyper technical way? In my opinion, this is a material omission of a misleading nature which leaves app buyers with the illusion that they have privacy and anonymity.

Don’t read other reviews yet... I think the developers should have renamed this app & list it as a brand new, instead of 8yrs old, with no reviews since 2014 and now app-updated until Aug, 2020.. So I stumbled onto this app after downloading their VPN app. Started looking into it, read their description & advertised photos, everything looked good. However, when I went over the USER reviews I noticed they were all 6yr+ old.. Every time I do this, I like to specifically open the Review drop down & select the “most recent” option. When I did this here on this app something really odd happened. Every “recent” review was at least 6yrs Old or Older! Normally this selection would be showing reviews made over the past few days to a week ago, so it was a surprise when they were all 6yrs old! I thought that there might be a technical problem, so I checked over ALL the reviews. That confirmed it for me, everything was at least 6yrs old... All of those made me think that this app is probably a dead app, an app that’s no longer supported by its creator. I opened their app update history to see when was the last time that this app had any updates at all. But here again, I was taken back by what I saw, only 3 total updates. The first was from 8 Years ago and the other 2 were done just 3 months ago..! That’s when I realized that every single review was in regards to the original version of this app.. As such, I considered it to be a new/untested app & downloaded it, to see if it’s something that could be beneficial.. Basically, all of those reviews are like reading reviews for Wine 97’ when in reality this is the newest/current version Windows, vastly different from its original.. I plan to update this apps rating, good or bad, after trying it out for a little while or so. If it’s anything like their other 2 apps, I’m sure that it will be worth it!

Unusable. There is no way I can uses this app! It is incredibly limited. There are three national proxies, which change the language of the pages into that language. And that is WHEN the connection actually responds, which is rare.

Nutnow. I agree with several of the reviews...this app needs the prefix "CR", because it is CRapp! It is extremely limited. You cannot even close the page you are browsing. it only has forward and backward arrows. No tabs. I am sure in order to make it work somehow you'll have to pay the monthly fee. So, I am advising you: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRapplication!

Crashes. Keeps crashing when I push the thumbprint for favorite sites

Worked one time then nothing. Well upon first inspection of app, it appeared to work as expected. Then when hit the eraser to delete search, it completely stopped working .

Great App.. I am very pleased with this app and the windows VPN client that you offer as well. Recommend to everyone, even if you get it after the limited free window is over. They make great products and offer great services.

Ghost. Seems to have a 'Ghost' service dept. paid for the app and all you get is a page asking you to buy a OC program and a note asking that you don't give them a bad review! Wrong!

Extremely disappointed. We purchased a three-year subscription to cyber ghost so that we could watch Netflix from the United States in our adopted country of Chile. In the four weeks that we have had this service, we have had nothing but problems. Today we cannot connect to Netflix at all. I see a cancellation in our future!

it work as stated, good anonymizer!. i'm normally do review, but here are my conclusions, this browser does as what it said, good anonymizer! (test using ip geo location service) i'll put 5 star if on next update - put more anonym server (currently only 3 server : US, Ned, - let user manualy inputed specified own proxy server (as on desktop browser) - where is the browser standard tabs! when all iOs mobile browser added tab to the browser (even the standard safari we have), this browser not has the multi tab capability test on iPad 2 iOs 5.1.1

Great privacy email is awesome!. My only request is encryption for downloads they are downloaded with out being proxied, to solve use a VPN Other wise great app

Anonymizes IP, but limited browser capabilities. It does what it promises, but it is not a full featured browser. It can't open certain JavaScript enabled buttons or links. It can't save bookmarks. It can't open pages in new tabs. It can't save images. it doesn't clearly describe if and how it saves cookies, history, etc. I am hoping after spending $US5 that this browser gets more basic browsing features and soon.

I am a cg customer. While I am a cg customer this apple application does nothing vpn related. Just checked my IP address while using the app and it totally gave my isp home IP address. Don’t trust this app to do anything more than your default browser.

It's good. -Can you please add more pages. I usually keep several pages open at once. -Ability to bookmark pages also would be an asset. -Does what it says, one time cost is better than a monthly service fee. I'm happy. IOS 15 trouble?. Upgraded to IOS15 and no longer will function at all. App opens but you cannot search for anything.

Proxy server. Its not for every Tom & Jerry as you chose your routing server from us,german & one more country given.It works like proxy server .Little slow but if it didn't work change routing country .Simple I like any company who back their product and developer exactly doing it and requesting to contact them before awarding negative reviews. just for that good business practice 5/5 from me
