Really-Really dislike the Videos. Message to KRQE, am I the only one? The video story doesn’t have to accompany the written story, does it? When I use the app, the ad plays & then the story. I turn off the sound real quickly so I won’t disturb others around me. Sometimes I exit out app. Saying this: no video, reading is ok. Yep, I can read, I used to buy newspapers plus I know cursive. I’ll go elsewhere.

Trying to rate. 6 stars would be easier. I could do half and be happy with it. I use this as much as eBay,Which I haven’t used lately to make an accurate rating. So there lies the problem. How do you rate if you don’t use it enough to be happy nor angry ? 🧐🤨

Good app. Offensive ads. This is a good app with good local news. However, they partner with ad agencies that promulgate offensive ads that stoke fear, disinformation, and divisiveness. For this reason, I am deleting this app.

Vids. When I click on a story I want to read, the video starts playing automatically and there’s no stopping the video unless you turn it down, which is not fun every time I want to READ a story instead of watching it on a replay every time.

Does not load live news at 10. Disappointing

Freezes all the time. News stories are ok and updated fairly well. However the app crashes all the time

Weather. Where is the weather girl the blonde that was been there in the morning forever she is the best one I didn’t have channel 13 for almost a month because of DIRECTV and the negotiations come back and she’s gone why we liked her where did she go bring her back

New app is awful. I dislike everything about this new app. You all have always been my favorite news source in Albuquerque and still are, however this new app needs some extensive help. Thanks and sorry for the negative review, but it looks like I'm not alone.

Worse than before. I agree 100% with JMortley. Took the words right out of my mouth. Before implementing or changing something to put it in production you should at least test it. You would think that is the most obvious thing to do.

Does not obey Apple silent. Have the side switch on side of iPhone to instruct for no sound. After going to this app, the video starts to play automatically, which is annoying by itself, but then the video sound starts blaring. Terrible feature. Another terrible feature is there doesn’t seem to be any new news. App front page updated once a week it seems like it.

Glitchy App. The Idea is great, the app is trash. Constantly fails to show videos, freezes, crashes, and in some cases fails to even open. Once in, you’ll find 9 ads on a page for one single story and only 5 mins to legitimate stories by this news organization. I gave it one star only because you can’t give 0 stars.

Too many ads. Very annoying ads that now you have to scroll through

Slow down!. One of my biggest gripes about this site is that you seem to be so very anxious to get bad news out to the public that you don’t thoroughly do the job. There are many times when breaking news will appear about an incident about which you have only bare bones information and you promise to update. But the update never happens. We never see or hear the follow-up. How about backing off the “breaking news” and report what you know, not about things you have no information about.

Thumbs down. Hate the new layout. The boxes are impossible. I feel like there's less news in the app now!?!

Meteorologists on KRQE. The meteorologists on KRQE I like best are Mark Ronchetti and Erica Meyer. They are professional and fun to listen to. Good work! And welcome back, Mark.

Uninstalled due to ad splash screen at startup annoyance. Fairly recently tried this app, but found it too annoying to keep. Installed after a few days and instead kept the KOB-TV app The problem is: the app developer has inserted a splash screen ad that requires a “swipe up to dismiss.” Any iPhone user will tell you that swiping up on the screen pulls up the iOS utilities menu, so the ad can’t be dismissed. Clearly the developer has NEVER tested his/her app with an iPhone emulator to recognize this. I understand the need to pay for the app and business through advertising, but if KRQE is only providing an un-dismissible ad and not providing access to news, then who is going to want to use the application?

News at 4pm. Our great granddaughter Ali love the news we watch it every day with MARK Ronchetti she is 3. It is amazing she listen to everything he and Kim say. She thinks “Mark is soo cute with his pink cheeks. Your biggest fan Ali.

Please help. Please make an Apple TV app I get all my news from you guys but want to watch from my tv so please get the Apple TV app soon thank you

Turn off auto play. Please turn off auto play when opening a story. When in public or around my wife sleeping it just turns on and is most annoying. If not done I’ll delete the app and get my news from someone else as there are other local news stations.

Glitchy. Doesn’t scroll smoothly, I’m unable to quickly enable sound on videos. Pretty disappointing news app

No ad. Don’t open your app with an ad. Your competitors don’t do that.

Auto play. Stop auto playing videos. Kind of annoying To you tech guru’s. Yes, I went to settings and turned auto play off. App settings as well.

This app got worse. I am editing to reflect some thoughts about the latest version of the app. They somehow managed to make it worse. It's mostly design issues. It's ugly and clunky. It's harder to find things like weather and sports because they are all hiding behind generic blue boxes with poorly designed graphics. The weather is SO bad. Half the time the forecast video isn't available, so I'm stuck reading the three sentences the meteorologist's decide to put up. I feel like I'm scrolling a lot more because there is an awful amount of white space.

Biased news with no comment sections for discussion. Heavily biased news written by extreme leftists who try to control the media and information narrative for the entire state. ABQ/Santa Fe and surrounding areas have the worst crime stats and yet try to act like they are progressive and leading the way of the future. The rest of the state makes the money while these areas house all the zombie criminal people. They have a big population/vote but very few actually contribute tangible services/products to the states livelihood. The problem with this news service and organization is that they are completely left leaning. They are not open to anything but their own views. These sites use to have comment sections but after so many years of reader’s debunking , challenging, discussing and destroying the news stories, the outlets removed the comment sections and now readers can’t discuss the subject matter! Which is limiting free speech and challenges to the information being reported. Not a place to visit to discuss the topics with other readers because they don’t want you to poke holes in their stories.

Wow!. Not a good layout. But your app is better than Koat. Get rid of your anchor at Nine she is awful. Stopped watching!!!!

Fire the app dev. This app is straight trash. It basically redirects all traffic through their website. That’s just lazy. What’s the purpose of an app? Learn to embed the articles. Also, the ads are awful and until dismissed, you cannot interact with the UI. Then the ads reappear seconds later, so you can’t enjoy reading the article.

Awesome News. I have always loved KRQE since I moved out west from PA. This news always has the most up to date information and I love all of the staff that is on TV. Thank you KRQE for being the best!

Love KRQE but HATE the App!. Crashes CONSTANTLY and frustrates me SO MUCH because I want to read articles and move between pages on the app- but sometimes I’m lucky to spend one minute on the app. Forces me to give up and go to the KRQE web page. Please fix this!

Review. October 2017 update. Downward spiral of web design hits rock bottom. I have deleted. Jan 2015 update is going in the wrong direction. What is it that compels designers to believe that the more you cram onto a small screen the better your app? This is messy, overcrowded but surprisingly without more info. A definite wrong direction. Lordie I wish they would let you downgrade to the previous version. Guess I'll be using the KOB app a lot more!

Hey what’s up?. What’s up we have no tv channel up in the four corners and it’s been going on for two weeks. It is my go to news for local news. Guess you guys could care less. Fix it please

KRQE. KRQE is a main part of my husbands and my day. Everyone is very genuine and we actually enjoy watching the news when it’s presented in a way that impacts you while not depressing you. Sounds strange but it’s real! Thank you KRQE!

Frustrating. I like KRQE News the best on TV but the app gets stuck or takes forever. And getting the weather is even harder.

Review. Update your sports stories daily and get back on directv. Also can’t watch morning news anymore if you get rid of the weather girl, only reason why I watched.

Too many ads. Too many ads, sometimes there are 3 of different sizes overlapping each other at the bottom of the screen. You close them and they reappear with the next screen refresh. Uninstalled...

Really Bad. The graphics are horrible. The new weather feature is so bland. Nothing about this new layout is appealing. Bring back the old app or sue. This is not in any way user friendly. Only KOAT's app is worse and just barely.

Real Reliable News. Love it. Believe it. Need it. You guys are an amazing source of news. Thank God Crystal didn’t leave us!! I am not enjoying the changes this year with Kristan C. leaving or loosing Adam A. They were amazing and your replacements are young and struggle on occasion but the news and weather are still on spot. I like that you hired young and I am sure they will not let any of us down. I am excited for their future and getting used to their adorable faces. I want to thank you all for your ability to show up and deliver the news honestly. I feel I know what is going on and an honest version and I have you to thank for that! Please with the new changes coming for our state I’d like to ask that you start referring to Marijuana as cannabis. I am a holistic healer and Marijuana is a slang term referenced in the mind as deviant. You’ll look much better, more professional, and accepting of its medical value if you use proper terminology. Slow and frustrating. This app is just awful. It takes forever to load and then a full screen ad in your face. Then news articles are in video where you must watch a commercial first. Look at your competitors site and see good ones! Deleting.

Poor design. I really dislike this new design. Big red boxes not really telling any thing. Just another click to go through to see if I want to follow. I know programmers want work. But I want quality. Not sure why you think this is a good change.

Well designed and snappy local news. This app is pretty, quick, and has a fairly good layout of ABQ news stories and weather.

Was good-now not so much. I used to live it. This last upgrade did not improve any thing. Now it freezes, when it never did before. Also not as user friendly. Will just delete it soon if I can't get at the min the older version. I really dislike this latest version.

Very simple. This app is very easy to navigate, and very handy for checking the weather.

Slow. Slowest app on my iPhone. Takes forever to load news stories and forever to go back to main page. Plus you guys show the same stories over and over only different titles. No one cares. Larry barker is a joke, leave the people alone and report real stories that matter! Stop harassing people!

Unprofessional on many levels. Your previous app was already marred by the worst writing and editing of all local news stations, but then you introduce a forced upgrade to an inferior app? Wow! Sorry, there are just too many other sources of local news for me to keep trying to use your horrible new app. KRQE, meet my delete button.

Seems good. After reading the reviews I didn't expect this app to work. It has been working pretty well so far. Fast too. It's pretty easy to navigate through and the ads aren't too obnoxious. Much better than KOAT's app.

Needs Serious Help. Ads pop up on their own. Stories scroll without touching the screen. Difficult to use.

Not polished. Your app sends notifications and when you click on them you cannot find the story. Very annoying

Stable, but inconvenient. I love that the news stories are always up to date, and the app always loads and never gives me any stability issues. I do, however, wish that I could just swipe through news stories. It's annoying to have to scroll back to the top of the page, press the teeny tiny home button, and then search for the story I left off at. A swipe feature would bump this app up to five stars.

Slow and hard to use. Sorry to say, I wanted to like the app. But the only thing good about it is the breaking news notifications but even when you tap on the notification to read more it opens the app to the default home page and then I have to try to find what story relates to the notification. It's frustrating to say the least. The app itself is slow, ugly with the hovering ad on the top. If it was always just on the very top or bottom it would be less intrusive but it hovers 1/4 in from the top so it's constantly in the way of navigation and reading. UGLY! There's a lot of room for another local competitor to swoop in and steal the show.

Video ads automatically pop up. I am ok with having to close an ad, but now I can't read a story without a 15-20 second video ad popping up. I will be deleting this app if this is not changed. If I wanted to watch video ads I would click on the video stories. If KRQE cannot afford to have their app like KOB and KOAT then they should get rid of it and send people to the website.

Not user friendly. Unable to always enlarge the font to make reading a story easier. I don't like the ad that comes up as soon as I open the app. At times, when I attempt to close the ad, the next page pops up asking me to sign up with the co. being promoted with no way of getting out of that page except to log out of the app.

Ad driven poor journalism. Fits in for NM standards. Would be nice if the ad revenue went to content.

Could be better. Open the app and you get an alcohol ad every time. Has nothing to do with news so please remove the ads or I will be deleting the app. You also get push notifications for breaking news but when you open the app the read the breaking news is no where to be found. There is really no point if you can't find out what's going on. Will be looking for another news channel app so I can switch and if there's not one I will go without.

Liquor Store Ads. Really dislike their constant liquor store pop-up ads. After many months of liquor store pop-up ads, had enough, deleted app. 7-4-15: Took another look a year later; now they've included another annoying pop up ad for furniture store; umm... Now we can be irritated by either furniture or liquor advertisements! Oh well...

Still needs work. This ap is frustrating! I have deleted and added it twice. When you get an alert it is difficult to get rid of the red number. I don't know what it wants me to do to get rid of it. You still need to fix it! I'm thinking of deleting it again!

Deserves 0 stars!!. To navigate on the app is terrible. It's hard to tell where the button is to go back to the headlines after you've read an article. Once you've read an article and go back to the main page it starts you at the top, so if you're reading an article near the bottom you have to scroll all the way back down. It's frustrating! You'd think by now they could hire a professional app developer to correct these problems. Yet each update makes it worse and worse. Fix the app or don't have an app at all.

Functionally terrible. I have enjoyed the simplicity of the previous version of this app. The advertising expansion "feature" makes it nearly impossible to read news stories. Avoid the app until they develop a completely new one. I guess I'll have to read my news from a competitor until its fixed. Bad form 13 :(

Not good.. And now back to 1 star. Search? Or at least match your app articles and videos to your broadcast? Too difficult? You're fired. Thank your 'whatever' you don't work for me. You're fired. App deleted again. Will see what kind of fresh nonsense you come up with a few months from now. You might try looking at apps with high ratings and model yours after one of those.

App not good enough to suffer video ads. This app was marginal at best but I was willing to work through the crashes for some local news. Then they added pop up ads and I was still willing to click the little x for some local news but I draw the line at video ads that I have to watch. I uninstalled this app the week that "feature" was added. Will find another app...

Not bad. Obviously some if not all the negative reviews are fake and from other stations. I do not work for any television media. The new KRQE app is clean, reminds me of the lauded and much missed original USA Today app page. Quick and easy to navigate, and the videos load quickly. BTW- I actually deleted the KOB app since it was so messy. And don't get me started on the NM Workforce "designed by clueless committee" website.

Krqe app. This app does not work well. It freezes up and takes too long to return to the main menu. When I finally get to the main menu, it takes me all the way back to the top of the page and does not allow me to scroll back down for a few minutes. Right now, it's not working at all. I cannot access any news stories. I hope it gets better because I moved away from New Mexico where I was born and raised and use the app to stay in touch with things going on where my family still lives.

Video play back doesn't load. Commercial videos load and play fine but when news cast after commercial plays the player doesn't play the video. Start the video over or reload and it just does it again and again. And a majority of the time the when forwarding a link to a video the link is the wrong link. Dislike the internal browser writhing the app.

Go back to your roots and concentrate on the news. This used to be the best local news app for Albuquerque news until they decided that advertising is more important than the news. When you open this app it immediately opens a full page advertisement that you must close to get to the actual app. How about concentrating more on the news instead of revenue?

Old app was better!. Yes the latest version looks nice but the old version worked. The late November 2013 version moved everything around and caused video to seldom work. If you want an ABQ news app that updates the news often and plays video of the news and weather you'll need to go elsewhere. And KRQE used to be number 1 with 5 stars. Oh well.

Terrible App - only get one star because zero stars is not a choice.. The developers of this app haven't done anything to improve it, even after updates. I find myself constantly having to completely close the app and restart it in order to get back to the homepage to read the next news story. When attempting to move from weather back to news also presents the same problem, but more often. It freezes, or gives me an error message. This particular problem has persisted through all updates for the past year. It's not a particular phone make/model problem because I've had this same problem with this app through three separate make/model of phones.

Sound doesn't work. I wish I could hear the story. Other than that its a good ap. it used to work, I keep it updated, removed it then tried again ... Still no sound. Plus there's no way to contact them for ap support. I try in APs and it says ap not responding. :( I wish it worked, I really love my news.

Ads ads and more ads. This app works decently on my phone/iOS 9, but all the pop-up ads make it very frustrating to use. As if there aren't enough advertising during the new broadcast and other programming on TV. Anytime you click or navigate through the app, you get a pop-up ad. Because of this I will most likely uninstall.

Needs work.. After iOS 8 app crashes when you select a news story. Before you could read the story but the videos would never play. The ads about news 13 would play then the spin wheel just keeps spinning.

Annoying pop up ad. I, too, just deleted this primarily because of the pop up ad. I don't know how many times I went to close it and ended up opening the darn thing instead. Also,when viewing this app on the iPad, it does not rotate. If I have the iPad plugged in and leaning it against the desk with the cord on top, the app opens upside down. I could have dealt with that,but the pop up ad was the biggest annoyance.

Can't watch video clips. The advertisements are my only complaint. I keep getting sent to jubilation's website when I try to open the app. Also when I want to see a news clip it only shows the advertisement for renewal by Anderson and no news or weather clip. Kinda frustrating. I hope you can fix this soon. Thanks!

Horrible. The previous version was soooo much better. Like everyone else said, they took a giant leap backward with this one. It's very difficult to navigate, and constantly freezes or give a "story not available" error. I would say use the old app if you can, but I can't even do that. Anytime I open it I just get a message to download the new one, and you can't navigate away from it. Thanks but no thanks. Looks like I'll be using 4(stories are a joke) and 7(very few stories and poor reporting) for now.

Latest version won't connect to Internet!. I have experienced the same problem as have the other recent reviewers--the app now tells me that I need to be connected to the Internet. I get the same message on several devices even though they are, in fact, connected to the Internet. The apps for the other two major stations in Albuquerque are still working fine.

Needs work. The app shows that there are new stories but when you visit and read what there is, the app doesn't remove the indication. When you load the app, an ad for Jubilation wine shop pops up and covers the entire screen. It's just irritating. The other two local stations have better apps. I'm deleting this one. Bye!

OMG the Ads!!!. Seriously can't open the app without the alcohol promotion. Aren't you supposed to be doing age verification before showing those types of advertisements? Now, every article you open, another stupid ad before you can even read! Going with another stations app.

Too many notices. I have the kobtv app and the krqe app. The difference is that krqe thinks that everything they post on their app should trigger an alert on you phone. It gets annoying! Not everything needs to be 'breaking news'! Only send me an alert if it's actually a ground breaking important news bulletin, otherwise I can read it when I have a moment to spare. In order to avoid the 'boy crying wolf' syndrome, I may just stick with kobtv.

Horrible. Your app is broken. Any plans on fixing it? I load an article it crashes and locks up so I delete your app and reinstall it. It works for a couple of days then bugs out again with some other problem or just crashes and locks up again. I have done this for the last time and will be looking for another source for local news on my phone. Thank you for wasting my time and so many others with this useless piece if software you have created or rather some dedicated it out.

Malfunctions just like the news show great match I guess you could say. Well the app leads to an error page upon opening sometimes. Thank you channel 13 very ver much, I just love when you are airing very newsworthy stories and you have audio or video problems .
