Needs an update!. Just got iOS 6 on my iPad. The DNA app no longer works. What's the story?

Love it!. DNA has to be the best gay international magazine there it. Great photos, great articles. Great in print and on my iPad. I look forward to DNA every month. Thanks DNA. Keep up the great work!

Do Not Buy. The latest update has pics edited that aren't even bad. Do not waist your 7 bucks. They took the fun out of the magazine.

More than meets the eye. Although DNA offers up some impressive photography, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is equally remarkable for its narratives. Well done,

Works just fine. Best magazine and this digital copy comes free with it. I had a problem, but I contacted DNA and they took care of it right away. It's hard to see on my small iPhone, but I it's nice to have anyway. I wish I could copy and paste photos though so I can create wallpaper for my phone.

Bad App. Paid for a year. Got two issues only. Bad contact numbers. No to slow responses from magazine. Neat magazine if you get access to it.

Great app!. It's not perfect and needs some polish, but definitely gets the job done! Finally, DNA on my iPad!

The current version crashes repeatedly. The current version crashes, loses issues I've purchased, it is slow. Hopefully they'll fix it someday.

Does not work on latest iOS. This seemed promising but all I ever got was black pages which according to their self help is due to low disk space. 7GB available is hardly low disk space. I removed the app, restarted my iPad, reinstalled the app and redowmloaded the current issue all to no a avail. Could be good if they ever fix it. I'm on the new iPad.

Disappointing!. ...and frustrating! Can't access the purchases I made. No response from publisher. Nothing. App really needs a lot of work.

Love this magazine. I have not yet subscribed to the magazine in fear of losing my money based on other reviews. But from buying the magazines one at a time I have not had a problem at all and love the magazine but the only thing I have a complainant about is the magazines are a bit pricey.

Not fair. iTunes has forced DNA to censor there pics do to showing a small bit of skin below the belt. But other apps show lady's in much more revealing bikinis. Not fair at all. Shame on iTunes

Fantastic magazine. DNA is without question the best men's magazine I have ever seen. I used to get The Advocate when it was still printed on newsprint, and I've been receiving OUT magazine since it came out. There is no comparison to the advocate for serious political and cultural reporting, but they separated their "visual" content quite a few years ago removing themselves from the genre where one would logically put DNA magazine. And out magazine is mostly advertising and fashion, neither of which particularly appeals to me. From the first time I looked at DNA magazine I knew it was something different. The models are exceptionally handsome and fit, men who would cause you to stop and stare if seen on the street. DNA was the first place I had ever seen the model pull his speedos down to where the reader could see the base of his penis, a look I call the "DNA look". I'm not sure DNA would win any awards for journalism, but for sheer entertainment value, I've seen nothing better.

Poor app. The magazines fail to download properly every time. This leaves you in an endless loop of entering passwords in the pocket mag app and the apple store which brings you to a blank screen, deleting the mags and starting all over. Avoid this app !

Best of Both Worlds. I get both the print version as well as the digital version, and they are identical... Love them both. Nice to have these hunkie men traveling with me wherever I go. The quality of the digital version on my iPad is absolutely great. I am very happy that I figured out how to access my DNA online! Bill

The best gay magazine internationally. Not only the models are hot , but the serious feature or political articles are of very high quality . I feel I learn something every time I read it . Also the iPad version has great resolution n come out very promptly - I subscribed to the air mail option but it has been taking me 3-4 weeks to get the copy via air mail ( yes I complained to dna many times but they think its normal for air mail to take that long to ?????) Great app to install ... One potential improvement : the iPad version could've tried to mark it more interactive n more value added instead of just plain direct copy of the magazine . Could refer to how "attitude" does it

The best. DNA is one of the best gay mags ever--well-designed, great articles, very informative, and fantastic photos of hot beautiful hunky men!

Bad security. Would be good except security makes it annoying to use and the downloaded magazines vanish. Lousy app.

6 Pack Back Issue Bundle Issues. I purchased a 6 pack of back issues and can't download them. No indication the purchase went through but I don't dare try again and risk a double charge. The app is VERY buggy. Beware.

Get it. Interesting articles, some are fluffy and lighthearted while others are more sophisticated. Great photos. Always makes me smile. I like to read it on the plane. I'm from the States and still find it relevant. Worth the purchase.

3 issues for 6 issue price!. Prepaid for 6 issues. Got only 3 in the end. Not a good app!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!. I bought the yearly digital subscription and I can't open the goddamn app!!! This digital magazine subscription is a RIP OFF!!!!

Buyer Beware!. Not only am I having trouble opening the app after I purchased a magazine, but I was shocked to find that it was CENSORED by the magazine itself?!?!?! Very dissatisfied.

pocketMag has got to go. I've spent all night trying to download the latest issue. Just got 112 pages downloaded. The thought of finishing this issue plus 3 others is giving me a major headache. On the positive side, I always thought t was a patient person until this began. now I know I'm not..

Poor app design. Great magazine but terrible app and customer service. The application crash almost every other time and full of bugs I registered for a year subscription but due to app issue I had to reinstall the app again. After reinstalling it I lost my subscription and when I contact the DNA magazine to get my subscription number this is the answer that I got : "Unfortunately any purchases made through iTunes is just for the DNA Digital Version subscription. It does not include Premium or any other DNA specific promotions. This is the case for all publishers who also have iTunes selling Digital Version subscriptions of their publications." I have no idea what are they thinking ITunes issued refund for me DON'T BUY IT ..... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APP !!! Keep your 50 bucks and buy another mag

Doesn't work for people with print subscriptions.. Terrible app.

Update needed for new iOS devices. Please update app for support on newer iOS devices such as 2018 iPads.

Help Me!. I want to change my one star review to a four star review. There has great improvement since January. This app is basically problem free.

In-app purchase = error. I don't know what they did, but I can longer purchase issues through the iphone app. I keep getting an error message. I can't even create a user account. #fail

Problem. Downloaded to my iPad, no joy. Contacted app store, no joy. $33 wasted.

Great Magazine.. Horrible App!. Doesn't even open.. immediately shuts down.. it's taken DNA a long time to make it to the iPad. This is disappointing! I will stick with the physical copy.

Broken. app crashes...does not download. Tried everything. Please fix.

Digital reading made easy. This is what I want to say about this app. It's sexy, fresh and easy to use. I like reading the physical magazine but this is definitely a great alternate.

If only it worked, but so far it does not.. So far, I've only been able to access the one free issue (which is not really a full issue). After waiting 2 weeks for my account to be activated to finally download full issues, I still keep getting login errors. So I can't review the app until I can see how it actually works. But I'm getting frustrated with not being able to use it and having to wait so long between responses from DNA's Support just to get help. Hopefully it gets fixed and I can update my review.

Love It. Love this APP now my DNA can go everywhere without having to take the actual Magazine. I have all the mags, not sure I can afford to now download them though.

Rubbish. Not only one of the worst magazine apps, but the content of the magazine is rubbish. Photoshopped models don't make a mag gay. It merely strives to sell a commodified lifestyle. Zzzzzz

Where is the current edition?. OK so even though I thought the online edition is overpriced, I went ahead and subscribed. Yesterday the whole download page went blank bar some radio buttons, and after nearly 24 hours have yet to hear from Pocket Mag. What is most disappointing was seeing the latest edition at the newsagent, and yet unavailable for download. I hope they improve the service otherwise I am going to be regretting my decision to subscribe.

Suddenly app isn't working. Was reading online the other day, shut down to do something else. Now the app won't load and shuts down within seconds ! Just did the update as I thought you guys might have realized !!! But no still not working ! I'm paying for this please fix

App not working anymore. I reckon the app should be fixes due I have invested money in magazines which I can not read anymore. Fix or give us a solution. Very disappointed

cool. great to see this released however it has crashed 3 times in the last half hour on my ipad and the sign up process returns an error :( ---------- garr! now it wont open at all :( it loads the DNA Logo then crashes, several reboots later and it still doesnt work. ill try reinstalling it.

Don't bother. Great idea bad app - the people who do pocket mags really need to pull there finger out and do some improvements it's becoming a joke!

Great photos and great reading!. DNA is a good read and has articles across a wide spectrum of topics. This means each edition has something different. Of course there is also some fabulous photos of some of the hottest models on the planet! Keep up the quality DNA!

Most recent update and subscription not working. I did the most recent and then re subscribed for a year a few days ago, but "download" is not working for me, the only option to read most recent issue is apparently to buy again.

Disappointed. I really wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased I am so very disappointed this has been nothing but trouble I don't recommend any one purchases anything from this app

Disappoint. No mention the super long start time, slow reaction and frequent crashes, why this app displays an ugly low resolution icon in my Newsstand? PS: However magazine itself is great, but need support for new iPad screen.

Too much trouble. This would have to be one of the worse apps I have ever downloaded. And the customer service is so bad.

Good app. Good app with great interactive magazines. In my opinion, some pictures in the newer issues should be higher resolution especially for those of us who have iPads. (Space-usage be damned.) As for all the idiots yet again moaning about temporary disruption - this occasionally happens with new uploads. So what? Don't want the wait? Go buy the magazine physically. Or get a hobby... Doesn't work. Crashes every time I try to open it. Contacted company soon after release, no fix. Lack of support reminds me why I cancelled my physical subscription.

great gay mag. been subscribing for years it can be fun and yet still have serious content. My only complaint is that the feature by urban homo is no longer available . The writer made me laugh out loud whenever i read his monthly piece

App is not working. APP is working good now that bugs have been fixed. Only feedback to DNA would be to enable downloading of each issue in the background instead of having to have the App active to download each issue. Magazine is a great read though

Fantastic magazine.. DNA is the best gay magazine that I have ever subscribed to. The variety of the articles plus of course the photo shoots of gorgeous men with unbelievably sculpted bodies, make every page of this magazine delightful. Thank you.

What happened to restore purchases?. Why some applications have such a problem to restore previously purchased issues. This is not the first time I had thiss problem with DNA. Very unprofessional!

App is cr**. App doesn't work. I am not sure if it the app or Apples magazine rack. Whatever don't waste your money subscribing until app is fixed. No stars till then, had to give it one to be able to submit review.

Why bother when it doesn't even work?. Unable to use the app, as it instantly crashes when opened.

Not loading even after reinstall. This magazine is a strong title however the current version of the App does not load, even after a reinstall. Huge fail DNA. Don't bother with this App.

Orientation issues. On the iPad, this keeps flipping to the wrong way up in landscape. Very annoying.

Great Magazine.... DNA is a great magazine. The articles are fantastic, relevant, and up to date, and the pictures aren't so bad either. Oh, who am I kidding...it's the pics followed by the articles... :-) I would have given it 5 stars, but the app does seem to crash more than I would like. To be fair though, all the online mags can be fussy. Keep up the great work!
