Good game. Good game takes along time to play and get use too but it’s been approved after 5 years of playing it and getting back to it

It gets better?. I started playing this game when it first came out. I loved it. Updates, new levels, and new challenges came out, I loved those too. For 4 years I played this game and loved it. Then I didn’t play for 6 little months, I moved during COVID. Stupid, right? I lost everything. I mean starting over, all my gems and purchases and collections. Gone. Everything. I tried to restore, didn’t work. I didn’t complain, I took my lumps. It happens. However, starting this game is slow and tedious. You can play 2-3 levels before you are out of energy (about 4 minutes) and that’s if there isn’t a phenomenon. Bottom line? I’m gonna play for another day or so, maybe I’ll be able to play for a whole 20 minutes at a time? If not, there’s a whole App Store. Btw: The restore works on some other apps like Tribez and Castlez. I gave those a much better rating, but I wasn’t starting from scratch. They might be slow too? Either way, I’m gonna definitely be cautious about spending real money on anything that might disappear again. UPDATE: I just lost 12 coffee cups (energy boosters), I’m not even gonna waste my time trying to figure out if anything else is missing…..

Fun. It's entertaining and I Love this game but, starting around the level 70 or 80-ish it started costing more to play. I am now on level 115 and I have spent hundreds of dollars $ to keep playing. I know that the first floor is basically free except a few rooms but, the second floor and the yard costs a lot to continue to play. You have to have “keys” to enter the room which means that you have to buy the keys with real money and it is almost impossible to collect the items you are supposed to be searching for to complete the quest. You have to have a lot of diamonds to continue to play which means that I need to buy with real money and then they don’t last very long at all. Every day I need to buy more diamonds if I want to continue to play. This makes me very sad since I Love This Game.😢I have chronic migraines, chronic pain for several reasons one is spinal issues, strange undiagnosable stomach issues with nausea. What I am getting to is this has been a lifesaver to help take my mind off of my depression from my inability to do the things that I need to do, have to do, and mostly what I was able to do not too long ago. PLEASE HELP! Please help with the growing outrageous cost to continue playing. I’m sure that this will make no change but, I really felt the need to put this out there. 🙁

Playing Again. Played a few years back, and now back to it. Lots of modes available. Have not found another game that has you work with friends quite the same way. Have met people from around the world!

It used to be a good game.... I was totally in love with this game ... Until I found out that they made you repeat the challenges ... and I said to myself, am I wasting my time playing a game that doesn't take the time to create new challenges? And I got out ... I'm looking for a game that takes their players seriously... It USED to be a good game... but it is not more... don’t waste your time...

Mr.. I just think that it takes too long for other rooms to become available. Also, the things that haunt the rooms stay too long if you don’t have the diamonds to get rid of them.

New iPad. I love this game. I have a new iPad so I started over and am trying to keep up with both. I much further ahead on the old one

I give up. I have spent hundreds of dollars playing this game. I loved it! But over time they have consistently “stolen” my achievements. Like today, there was supposed to be a few hours of an opened room, but it closed down a few hours short. Based on past experience, I must sent a screen shot to prove it. Well, I can only show the “after” shot, not knowing to take the “before” shot because there was no way to know it was to happen. I am loyal, but tired of being cheated.

Used to love it. Sure it can be repetitive and quests are next to impossible to complete, but it WAS an enjoyable game. Until.....I’ve lost all progress after iOS 13, I am beyond angry. I did email support and got back a stock response but nothing got fixed. Such a shame that I have to stop playing now. Are you guys going to address the lost progress of the many players who have updated the game?

Pipes Games. I Love the Pipes Game!!! I look so forward to playing it every other week. I was on the Silver Level and coming in as a Top Player each week. I never would have thought a 90,000 score would cause me to come in 5th place and move me to the Gold Level. I do Not want to be on the Gold Level because their scores are in the millions, which I know I will Never attain. How do I go back to the Silver Level?? I am already out and the tournament is not even over. Since I will Not have my tokens replenished I will not be able to play again until I do! Thank you for the “try harder” because I tried harder and found Pipes in another game!!

New Improved Awful. This is a great game with many features, but since the game was changed, the developers keep changing things. Each time a change is made, the game gets worse. For instance, the recent update changed the kitchen and made the objects so small it is almost impossible to find. What needed to be changed and updated were the dressing room and the bedroom as the objects are so small and so similar in shape in silhouette mode that you fail more often than you succeed. It is almost as if the developers do not listen to the players. I don’t understand why they have so little respect for the people that support this game.

Mystery Manor. My game has not worked properly since I started, I have spent a fortune on this game. I don’t get collections others do, I don’t get rooms. I do every quest, yet get nothing for it. I have tried over and over to get someone to help me, yet never have they gotten back with me, fed up, ready to quit. Don’t download this game, they will never help you.

Lost Interest - Stagnant Game. This used to be one of my favorite games. The lack of technical support for in-game issues is terrible. There have not been any updates recently in the game and users are worried about the future of the game. It is increasingly clear that company doesn’t care about its players. I was a daily player and now I barely open the game. I am looking for another game to play.

Game has gone downhill. In recent months there have been no updates to the game. When asked about the status of updates Mystery Manor is unclear about when any updates are coming. They keep cutting back on deals for items required to play the game so it is getting really expensive. During peak times it’s hard to play because the server is so slow and I have the highest speed Internet available. This game was one of the best available and I willingly spent too much money but will not spend another dime until these issues are addressed. 😡

Love this version. This version of the game is great if you want to search for items, find friends and play with out the extra stuff that drags down the speed of your Id app. They haven’t done updates in a while so the game is stable. Hoping they’ll get back to adding content here. I’ve played all versions of this game and this one is the best. for the company: please stick to the tried and true version of the game as well.

Miserable customer support and constant problems. I have been playing this game since the beginning. It was once a very enjoyable game. New rooms, new characters, new quests, exciting adventures became available every month or so. Now, nothing is new. Quests are impossible to complete. Customer service is non-existent, and the company only cares about profits. The only way a player can complete a quest is if he pays money to buy the item or buys room keys to try to find the item. Whenever players request help on an issue, she is told that her network was unstable or he didn’t back up his game appropriately. This seems strange to me considering my game is automatically backed up each evening. I will no longer spend money on this game. I am joining the boycott that begins in a few days. See Facebook for more information. Game Insight is a greedy, disrespectful company. Please don’t waste your time or money.

Overkill on in-app purchases. It’s a fun game to play for a while but the items needed to enjoy more than just the first few rooms become extreamly scarce unless one constantly spends real money (I.e. in-app purchases) to buy the game items. The designers do make it possible to request items from other users but what I just found out (because they don’t explain this) is that only some of the gifts requested from you are ‘free’. The other gifts requested from you will come from your inventory of items. (Please note, I’m not talking about the “wall gifts”. I’m taking about the request for gifts directly sent to other players). That’s the last straw for me. In the game some items very scarce, so one has to buy them or request them from others - but the game does not indicate that you are sometimes giving away an item from your inventory when you are responding to a gift request. It’s just too frustrating, the designers are just too greedy, and it just stops being fun when you realize that it’s all designed to make you spend more and more money.

Poor customer service. After playing this game well over seven years. I received a new iPad for Christmas. Game-insight has been completely hopeless as far as customer service For transferring my original game to my new iPad. The game freezes up. No updates to areas that say coming soon have been added for at least 5 years in my opinion. They seem to just be taking the money. UNTIL YOU QUIT! I am done.

From Love to Meh. I have had this game for years. I used to play every day and loved it. The quest used to be fun and a challenge to complete and now I have 42 quests 40 of which are impossible to complete with out spending a ton of money. There may be players that are into that, I am not. Bye bye Mystery Manor, what used to be an enjoyable stress reliever is now an excruciating waste of effort.

Unstable no support. Used to be enjoyable now boring with no updates or ones that crash your game and take everything from you. Unstable playing on the weekends when you "can't connect" for hours. Developers don't seem to care about the players any longer after months of complaints. Save your time and money!

iOS 13 update. I have been playing this game for over 5 years with no issues, then had the new iOS 13.1 update and my game wasn’t saving my quest progress. I sent a ticket to help support with no reply. I tried to reinstall the app and ended up losing everything and it made me start completely over, even after it linked to my Facebook account, which they say will restore any progress just by linking to Facebook. I am so bummed because I actually loved playing the game. Too many glitches.

Mystery manor. This is a great game. When I pick up my I pad and start paying it I am on it for hours. I mean it can go into the wee hours of the night or till morning even though I know I have to go to work the next day. I get fought up in it, and I love hidden picture games.

Update. I love this game. Any chance this game will be updated or will I have to lose all my progress in this version and get the new version?

Would be better if I didn't have to spend money. Very fun game but very difficult to play without using RL money. The "deals" through the shop are nice but would like to play without having to spend my hard earned money.

A little addictive. The longer I play, the more I understand it. I like it and think it is a fun game. I like how there are little twists in the game. I wish it was free, I’m not spending my money though and wonder how that will limit me in the game long term.

Fun but.... It's a great game but some of it tends to be confusing at times. So much detail and yet sometimes too much detail and not a lot of explanation. All in all, a lot of fun, especially when you have friends to play with 😊

Mystery manor. Good game, but there are so many different things to look at and try to complete. The quests on the left are different than the events on the right, played forever before even looking at the stuff on the right side. Also, the game is not explained very well, energy takes too long to recharge, the quests seem to come way too quickly and that leads to trying to figure out if you are missing something. Good game overall, but way too much going on at one time!!

Disappointed. I played this game when it first started and was addicted from the start. It was fun and they were always adding new areas or levels to keep players interested. I didn’t even mind spending money on it here and there. But I quit playing a year ago and they had stopped with upgrades long before that. Very disappointing to lose a great game.

Please Read before downloading this app. This is an update to a 3/1/18 review I wrote. It has been months since there has been any updates and new quests & events. GI has pulled out 2-3 year old quests for various holidays. Not even the 6th anniversary produced any events. The game continues to degrade, at this point barely 10% of the 1050 friends on my list check in. Issues with slow servers, lost progress, loss of friends (at various points I’ve lost blocks of hundreds & twice all friends) have declined. However, with no updates, events and fewer players, it stands to reason there will be fewer issues. In February GI posted that there will no longer be Apple app updates, with future play being shifted to face book. The last Apple update was over 7 months ago, there hasn’t been any updates via Facebook either, despite the promise of a new & improved manor. GI’s intent is the true mystery here. If you’re interested in the game, it can be great fun but has gotten stale without new updates & events.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Instead of creating a new version you should fix the problems with the old version first. Done spending money on this stupid game. You have a guild quest going and can’t even get in to finish because of network problems. Your all idiots if you think we are going to play the new version. Now I know why I want to quit this big waste of time.

Servers can’t handle player traffic. I have been playing for 4 years and unfortunately this game has steadily declined. Seems the servers cannot handle the traffic during weekend guild events. Players routinely get a “can’t connect to server, please try again message.” This goes on for hours (Not just a few minutes) during an event. Long time players are quitting out of frustration. If you haven’t started playing this game DON’T! There are other games out there to choose from. I normally would cut the developers a break, but in this case the server problem has been going on for months! At this point it is a total waste of my time.

Kicked me out of game 4 times because of their accounting problem!. This is the 4th time this year 2023 I have been locked out of the game because GI has an accounting problem with Apple. I know I spend WAY to much money in the game and because I guess I purchased TOO MANY offers it triggers a lock out in their system. I open a support log and wait 2 to 5 days to get it resolved. They accuse me of cheating…find out it’s their problem and I don’t even get an apology! This isn’t right If this has happened to you first STOP spending money and contact Apple along with posting anywhere and everywhere what has happened. I’ve been playing this game pretty much since it started…never had a problem till this year. VERY POOR customer service..only one person Max identified the problem and fairly quick got my game opened up. START COMPLAINING EVERYWHERE its just not right they can do this without identifying their own internal problem! And no one ever actually apologizes…it’s just TOUGH LUCK!

Addictive!!. Love this game. To be honest, I originally gave this game 5 stars to receive the bonus offered for a 5 star rating. Now that I have played for awhile I can honestly say that I'm totally hooked on this game. It does require a lot of self control and patience if you are determined not to spend real $$s and to try to earn your rewards and progress. UPDATE TO REVIEW I used to love this game and played way more than was probably healthy😂 Now the only thing keeping me playing are the wonderful friends from around the World that I’ve met playing. Its fun to talk to people from all over👍🏼The game has become boring and impossible to play successfully without dishing out more $$s than I’m willing to spend on a game. I keep hoping for some improvement but so far nothing👎🏼

Lost all after 7yrs and no tech help. Been playing for about 5yrs+ and i just got a new ipad and my game will not restore on my new ipad. Contacted game insight and all i got was an automated response asking me for details and screen shots that i sent and still no response 3 days later. No updates either yet they still take your money. Whats the point. Bye

Loads of Fun!. I started playing a very long time ago … like 10 years! Then, I, for whatever stupid reason, deleted my account and started over. It’s been slow going but I’ll get there. It is very tempting to put money into it, but this time around, I will refrain. You really don’t need to because eventually you will get what you need. I still don’t understand all of the game and need to print out the instructions. There is so much going on in this game so you never get bored! This is the ONLY game that I play.

Returning player. I stopped playing a few yrs ago bc I got burned out. Felt like I was getting nowhere. It does help to get higher ranked. But I’ve returned in hope there’s been improvements. So shall see I did enjoy it before except the predicable hops and the difficulty in squiring items. I hate the lack of life. It runs out constantly

Loved it but....... Love it but there’s too many missions and side quests to even be able to completely finish. I’ve been playing a long time back when it was on Facebook time and its was fun but now you have to find items but won’t get them even after u get gems I’ve had one mission for almost five months now and cant get anywhere it’s sad I like finding games but the quests need to slow down

What happened. I was playing the game and everything is still working I tried tapping on to play a room and it won’t work and I tried tapping the ones that float around the room’s and it didn’t work. It’s like it froze up and I waited a couple of days before trying it again and it was still froze and I tried today and It is still froze what do I do?

Rip Off. Here we are almost 2 months since my first support request and I’m still locked out from playing with others. I sent materials requested 3 times, but told since I haven’t responded my case was closed. I don’t believe anyone from tech support is actually monitoring this game since the now have a game called New Mystery Manor and this version hasn’t been updated in more than a year. I know my version has a bug - click on the G! icon and the game freezes. Save your money. There are better games with better tech support.

No Longer Supported by GI - SHUT THE APP DOWN. Developers have abandoned this version and created a new version. New version does not have any of the social features that made the original MM one of the most popular apps to ever be released. This version hasn’t been updated in two years and is not working on newer iOS systems. It should be removed from the App Store so that Purchases can be shut down. They are stealing money from players.

So many issues I have basically stopped playing. I have been playing this game since the beginning and have managed to reach level 384. However, I am about to delete the game because I can’t get anywhere. I have been stuck on so many achievements for so long, and I often can’t even complete the first quest of a special event. I have never spent a penny in game, and so many things cost expensive keys, chests, and so on. No wonder I can’t get anywhere. And do yourself a favor and stay away from Guilds, which require hours and hours of play every. single. weekend and deplete resources that took months to accumulate. Games should be fun...this has become so stressful. Can’t believe I didn’t delete it a long time ago!

Nice Graphics Slow to Recharge Without Spending $. Nice game. Similar to other HOGs for tablet. Fun but can only play minimal time before "energy" runs out so options are to wait hours to continue or spend money on energy.

Fun at first, but REALLY expensive to continue. I loved this game years ago but deleted the app for some reason. Now I remember why I deleted it. The game very quickly becomes very expensive to play unless you want to keep searching the same few rooms over and over and over … and over. The quests are just a way to lure you in to get even more of your money. Beyond that the game doesn’t seem to have changed much in the years since I wisely deleted it.

Better version. This version is so much better than the new one they came out with. They should have more updates to this one.

Customer Service bordering on fraud!. At its best game is ADDICTIVE, however the game rarely operates at its best. Recently the game was experience has degraded significantly: no game improvements, frequent and significant game errors, incorrect instructions for game quests, increasing cost of in game purchase items, unreasonable requirements to achieve advancement. Boycott currently in place involving thousands of players. That tells you something is very wrong.

Mystery Manor. I have played this game in the past and I had a hard time following all the different things you had to do. Now I’m very excited about being able to have friends and the different quests you get to do. This game is very fun and addictive and I highly recommend it to everyone. My hat goes off to the developers for adding new content and brand new features. Great game guys!!! Love it

Fun game. Fun game with fun things to do. Just not quickly. And I’ve only been playing for a very short time and it’s been necessary to use the gems a couple of times. So probably going to run out quickly and then not sure how easy or enjoyable it’ll be. But I’m still hopeful it’ll be fun

Crashes a lot.. Before the update the game was running mostly fine but now it crashes every time i try and open it. It's getting quite annoying because i really like the game but i tried to accept gifts and i lost all the things because of the crash but the gifts never re-appeared.

Hours of fun & mystery!. This game is so much fun! Addictive and has the ability to entertain you for hours on end! One of the key tips to moving on in this game is to use your charms! You can truly enjoy this game without the need to spend money and for some that will be the decider to continue with this game! Friends are also essential in this game and the more you have the better your chances are of getting that last item needed to charge your collection or assemble something weird and wonderful to move onto or into an chapter of the game! If you love to keep your brain active and enjoy a challenge this is the game for you! If I was to criticise anything it is the frustration of not knowing where that final item you have racked your eyes and your brain was when your time is up! It would be great if the developers introduced the concept of revealing just where those hidden items were when your time was up! One other small criticism for me is that on the odd occasion an item has been totally impossible and I would almost have to say absolutely invisible for anybody to find! Overall a fantastic game, I love it and would recommend it to everyone!

Overall great game!. Addictive game, however energy takes forever to recharge and I'm not spending my hard earned cash on a game. Would be good if the friends list was alphabetised or had a search function - so annoying scrolling thru friends list to visit and help certain friends. Gifting energy would be a great idea in the next update as would removing the bug of 'Internet connection required' when I'm already connected - that's really annoying too.

Past player. Used to play years ago was very far into game. Just started from scratch as lost log ins but great game just as I remember

Frustrated. I have been playing this game for many years and had reached a level over 200 until the other day when it reset sending me back to level 1. I'm still waiting for my game to be restored. Other than that it's been a good game.

I was so sick of all the games that are available being brainless or at best, boring, that I had pretty much stopped even looking for new ones... Until now! Show me the money!!!. Game is great but the game has been designed to be a money spinner. Takes all day to accumulate free energy to do 2 or 3 searches. Within 5 minutes of play you are done. The cost for coin and diamonds is astronomical considering how quickly it would get used up. Any power up or energy or other matter need coin or diamonds. You earn 80 coin when you successfully complete a search but you need 1400 or more to banish a phenomenon. There are approx 15 at the moment in my game. Do the math. Planning to delete the game as I am annoyed.

Frustrating energy gain. This game would be so much more enjoyable if energy rebuilt a lot quicker. Takes forever before you can play again. I'd rather pay for the game up front than the way it's set up to milk you of your money if you want a little extra energy cos you would like to play it. Top game otherwise.

could be better. It's good that you don't have to buy the full version to play but it's annoying how hard the missions are sometimes. It would be better if they let you finish a mission before giving u another one. I have like 30 active missions ATM and I never seem to find what's needed to complete them. It's also annoying that u can't complete collections without connecting to Facebook and asking for people to send u items

Not bad. Better than most hidden object games, has a bit of variety and challenge. My only complaint is that it's a real chore visiting your friends, it takes ages to load and you have to return home between every visit, essentially doubling the loading time for the next visit.

Mystery Manor. Being playing this games for years. Same problem keeps coming up. I get stuck on the same level for a month or so. I have left messages, reset, updated game and it still keeps happening. I should be up in 400 level still only mid 200s. I play this game as a pain distraction so keep playing but very annoying at moving up levels. Please fix this issue, please.

Waste of time. Could be an excellent game but before you can open another room without doing the first two over and over and over, it says you have no energy left, come back later.... No... on to a better game I say.

not fun anymore. It was a fun game the first few levels. Dont like the fact that after finding an item they take away the item. So many times after completing a room you will not receive a price, whats that all about. Since their latest update game has gotten worse, it crashes and with it takes your gifts , bought a chest for 35 diamonds......never to be seen again. Game developpers do not acknowledge my and other users complaints.....Why I keep playing.........I live in hope, once it works it is fun.....

Incompetent support. I would give this 0 stars if I could. Game is great, but whenever there's a problem support will blame everyone else except themselves, meaning problems don't get fixed. Also, don't be fooled by the 5 star rating - players are promised in game currency if they rate the game 5 stars, making their level on the AppStore ratings a fallacy. Before playing this game, check the Facebook page, look at the forums. Don't download it - go find a similar game with better, genuine reviews. You'll enjoy it more and it will mean that any problems you have will get fixed, something that will not happen with this game.

Not as good as I thought. I really only rated it with 5 stars so I'd get the game reward. I'm getting a bit sick of having to wait (cause I'm too stingy to purchase food) in between searches. It's an okay game...just annoying that there is limited time to play when no purchasing food.

Be warned - you'll be hooked before you know it!. This is a great game and highly addictive; I just wish you could accumulate energy quicker to play longer (without purchasing charms) and that you could have the chance to win diamonds more regularly without having to purchase them. Loving the game can be very expensive, so you have to be patient and not play too often to save $ which is disappointing.

Findables. I love this game alot, as I have a like for collecting games. However, my only quirk is sliding the findables menu. I don't know if its a glitch on my end or not, but I find difficulty scrolling back and forth to known what I can find in each room, which is problematic when I am trying to find a certain item. Other than that, this game is wonderful.

mystery mansion. You can only go so far in this game and once you run out of energy, that's it. You have to come back later when your energy has topped up. If you are looking for a game that you can play for hours, this one is not it. Just when I get into it ... I run out of energy and the only way to remedy myself of this is to open my wallet. This is a wonderful game but good luck accessing all of the rooms in the mansion. I don't think anyone ever will ... Unless they can afford it that is ... Such a shame for those who cannot afford it. To the creators of this game: Please make it easier to access more rooms and let us enjoy more of this game so we can get more variety and see it's full potential. Thank you ... Well, here is my cheap alternative to getting 5 stars

Good game but requires lengthy wait for 'energy'. I really like playing this game but its biggest downfall is the energy runs out pretty quick & takes way too long to regenerate, but I think the game designers did this deliberately to make you purchase their diamonds. I think I'll get sick of this game shortly because it I can't be bothered waiting for the energy to power up again. Also it feels like it takes too long to get to new rooms & levels. At least with other games you can move quickly through levels and get a sense of movement. And I'd like the developers to loom at home many active tasks you have at once, it seems like too many. Overall a good game but it could be easily made a lot better and have better appeal if the suggestions made were implemented in some manner.

Addictive. This game is enjoyable, the time it takes for the energy to recharge is a little frustrating. I have found that sometimes your achievements don't register on the app (eg when you kill a monster)! However it's "benefits" outweigh the flaws! Rooms are searched again and again for the same things so if you like a HO game that challenges you each time this is probably not it! After all that typing, it's worth playing for time passing!

Mystery Manor.. I really liked this game until it crashed quite a few days ago when the gift giving and receiving stopped. But GI still encourages it's players to spend money to buy coins and diamonds so they can purchase gifts to send to other players. When the 'guru's' fixed this technical issue is anyone's guess. If it's not fixed within the next 7 days then I am deleting the game as there is not point in continuing to play is ther?

Mystery Manor. I love this game, it is addictive. But I am starting to feel like I am getting nowhere. I have things to kill creatures that never appear, There are creatures you are supposed to kill but you never get the weapons. Sometimes the challenges seem unachievable, Rooms cant be unlocked because there is no way of getting the bits you need to build the machine. Very little support, expensive and crashes....constantly. Game looks good from the outset. Support appalling. Game constantly crashing and a lot of users report they are unable to access the game at all - and this issue has now started occurring for me too. This game is not cheap if you want to progress - the higher you get the more bugs and crashes you experience - you gift one thing and two disappear, you buy a big ticket item and the game crashes and you lose the item and it's effect and the game currency you used - have reported multiple issues now - and "with technical team" is about as far as I get - you have to go this game alone as far as support goes - the FAQ is only moderately helpful - very disappointed wit this game.

Mystery. The game was very fun and brain boggling and was just the type of puzzle app I was looking for, though it kept me coming back to play again and again, one of the downfalls of the app was the shortage and price of energy. Another problem I found with the game was the price of entering new rooms was definitely too much and you could barely ever gain new money to use to enter a room.

Annoying pointless challenges! Mercenary tactics. Used to love this game but now coming across too many annoying challenges. Particularly sick of collecting oil cans to get rid of robots, this challenge appears endless. Only way to progress seems to be to spend money or constantly ask friends for gifts. Too many items needed to charge collections so needlessly frustrating. I, like many others, have been playing for months but am now getting seriously close to quitting.

Mystery manor. Really like the game but it drives me insane as you either have to use real money or only play for 10 minutes at a time and wait for another hour or two for everything to recharge so it is becoming easier just to delete the darn thing, sorry but just because we have iPads does not mean we have heaps of money.....

Good but..... While this is a seriously addictive game and can be fun if you don't really care if you get through the different levels/rooms the problems start when you want to get into other areas. The instructions expect a fair amount of knowledge of the game and understanding. while i do enjoy playing the game it is repetitive, frustrating when it takes weeks of play only to miss out on completing the task because its finished. or opening a new area only to fail as you didn't have enough energy and when opening some areas you only have a limited time to access, which once your energy is depleted almost impossible to reaccess as it takes a day to get all your energy back if you don't have any food or idols. If you elect to use the inapp purchases the charges required to get through some levels is extremely high. Highly recommend you don't buy/use inapp purchase as they are ridiculously high for not much reward.....

Expensive. In app purchases are way too expensive, and you seemingly can't complete some quests without them. I image the appeal would be much higher if they were more affordable, but as it is I'm just playing what I can for free. Otherwise graphics are good but it's a little slow going.

Love it. I love this game and have from the moment I downloaded it. It hooks me right in and I could play it all day if I could! One suggestion is that you don't run out of energy so quickly (i.e. after exploring 3 rooms) and that we don't have to pay with our own money to keep advancing through. I will not be able to keep playing if I have to use my own real money.

Nice graphics. Clear graphics. Game is easy to follow and you don't have to spend a fortune in 'In-App Purchases' to continue playing. The 'Snatchins' are fun to banish. I haven't made it to the other lands yet but it is varied enough without being tied to a story line that gets too convoluted. I just like looking for things!

Could have been enjoyable.... I am getting tired of these games that require real money usage if you want to progress through the games at a reasonable pace, and this game is a classic. Great graphics aside, this could have been enjoyable if the gameplay wasn't constantly interrupted by energy refills which eventually lead to real money usage. Please give us a break, if you want people to enjoy your product, get rid of the greed. I would have been willing to pay a reasonable price for the entire game to begin with because it could be one of those games you could waste hours on, but stop enticing people into "free" downloads only to lure them into these money traps. I only downloaded this app to to improve my status in another one of your "free" games, and thought it the cheapest way to do so, but now I'm just getting frustrated with the way these app's work...

Good but slow to recharge and gain diamonds required to play. Needs to allow players to move forward without having to buy diamonds, quite off putting as it is quite expensive for the amount you would have to buy to continue playing at the rate you want. Absolutely no complaints about actual game, it is fantastic

Love this game. Game plays well and information and tasks are clear and easy to follow. The only thing i don't like is that sometimes you don't find anything in a room for a really long time. For example i have found that sometimes i haven't found anything a a particular room for 7or more consecutive attempts, i understand the need to have some occasionally but it should be limited to a lower number.

Help with collectables. I'm a huge fan of both mystery manor and incredible heist - one of the great things about incredible heist is that it has the little icon on collection items that take you to the room/character you need to search or trade with to find the item. Is it possible to do this with mystery manor too please? It would make it a bit easier to find things to open things like the wolf lair etc and complete collections. It would make mystery manor even better if this feature could be added. Thanks

Greedy developers ruined this. Game is fun when it works. However, it has gone downhill with too many glitches, crashes and no support from unprofessional developers. Also there are too many quests or actions which are very hard to complete unless you either take literally months to do them or pay the exorbitant in-app price for diamonds. Even then you are lucky if you actually receive what you pay for. Diamonds and chests just disappear and players are called liars and cheats when they request help. The game is geared to make you "accidentally" waste diamonds on certain items by having "buy" buttons precariously close to "ask friend" buttons etc. if you play u will see what I mean eventually - it is no mistake on developer's part. Visit the MM FB page to read about 100's of dissatisfied players who have been ripped off, abused, banned & generally just treated abysmally by a company who's pockets they have lined.

Entertaining. The game itself is good, however there is almost too much going on and it's hard to keep up with all the tasks. There is a lot I still dont get about the game, but im slowly getting there. If you decide to do in-app purchases, they are very expensive and don't go far. Energy also takes a very long time to recharge. I often can only play for 10-15 minutes before having to stop unless i want to pay to continue. Aside from these things, I thoroughly enjoy the game as in itself it is extremely entertaining.

My Review. I enjoyed this game and thought it had many good ideas, but I think the energy ran out to fast and now there is ALWAYS a curse on every single one of my rooms!!! Plus, as soon as I use 15 extra energy to enter, as soon as I complete the level, there is always another curse on it!!! But the different rooms were cool, there was many good ideas for quests and altogether it was a fun and kind of spooky game!!

Not bad, but harder to make progress without having to buy stuff with real money. Would like to be able to acquire diamonds or other goodies like food with coins instead of having to use real money to get throu it a bit quicker. A real struggle when you have no diamonds and have to banish things to avoid energy penalties. Otherwise quite absorbing and interesting. Fans of Smurfs Village who want to do something a little more challenging for the quests will enjoy it.

Mystery Fullfilled. Only just recently got this game and I'm really enjoying it, it's a real challenge at times trying to find the items especially in the curse modes. So far it's been well worth getting. Get it if you enjoy a visual challenge.

Pay less play more!. A good game, but needs more problem solving activities, you can "snag" objects by just randomly tapping, not much brain power needed. Also the power runs down too quickly and the price for the app purchases is way too high, you would get more people buying if you reduced the price. There are other games about that are more intellectually stimulating that have no in app costs involved. Energy last longer, drop in app purchase price, some stimulating puzzles and you will have a 5 star game. Sorry to be negative, I do like the game but there are things I don't like about it and you did keep asking me to rate it!!!

Keep track of your purchases!. Fun game I have been playing it for a number of years ... but to really have fun you do need to make purchases. Be extremely careful when purchasing! Always write down what you purchase, what was supposed to be included in your purchase, and how much it was supposed to cost! I have found many inconsistencies in all aspects of my purchases ... but very hard to prove if you don’t write it all down. Be careful! Personally, I am deleting this game.

Not sure I'll continue. There's absolutely nothing intuitive about this game. There are no instructions, like "the goal is..." or "this is how you proceed...." blah blah blah. I find it terribly confusing. The only wee thing I like is that when you back to the same room for further challenges, things have moved around so you can't rely on your memory. But honestly there isn't even a narrative to guide you in this game. If the objective is to figure things out as you go, you at least need some markers, or some intuitiveness. Ugh. Me no like.

Needs Fixing. Vers 1.11.3 - once again issues remain unaddressed and unfixed. Thought perhaps this update would fix the crashing but once again the game crashes in the first 30 secs of gameplay. Not sure why I bother or hope for some sort of resolution. GI is not known for great customer service - just their greed. Check out the Facebook page! Lots of disgruntled customers there! New update = crash, crash, crash - especially if you are on IPad 1. The game is essentially unplayable at the moment. Even with latest updates this game crashes constantly - lost all the gifts my friends sent last night due to a crash. Monster quest is active at the moment. I need to banish swamp creatures but I have only had one weapon drop with which to do so - trying to encourage spending real money to finish the quest? I think so! Still rating one star! It gets harder with each update to proceed in the game without spending RIDICULOUS amounts of real money. I've been playing for over 6 months. With every update new problems arise. With the latest, the game continually crashes, making for an unpleasant and frustrating experience. Game Insight will ban you from posting on the Facebook page should you try hold them accountable to their customers. They frequently delete unfavourable posts. With each update it gets harder to complete quests without spending real money, indeed this is (or perhaps was) a cash cow for GI. Drop rates are ridiculously low, which makes it virtuously impossible to complete timed quests, unless you purchase needed items. This is their strategy, of course, because for GI, it is all about how they can take as much of your hard earned cash as possible and how addicted they can make you! Below is my first review from before several of the latest updates. As you can see, my opinion has greatly changed! This game is very enjoyable. It takes some time to build up enough energy to be able to spend some time playing and it tends to crash when visiting friends, otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars. The best part of the game is that it is sustainable for long term play. They keep it fresh by adding seasonal quests. If you are the type of person who wants to quickly finish a game, this definitely isn't for you. Has gone down hill. I’ve been playing this game almost from day one and it was always a fun and challenging diversion after a hard day. Unfortunately it has just become a way for the developers to try and get as much money as possible. More and more rooms and goblin like things require more and more paid for tokens to solve and or get rid of. I would not recommend this game to anyone unless they have more money than they need.

Lacking Instructions. Most of the game is fairly straight forward, however you are often given tasks to collect items with no idea where to find them or how to collect. In some cases it may lead you to trading or banishing a specific creature but in order to do so you need other items for which you aren’t given instructions on how to get them. A frustrating oversight as I have collected what is required to unlock something only to learn that I need more items in order to actually get into it but don’t know where to find them. Nor can I find anywhere to find help with this. Also, too many quests get thrown at you too early in the play so your tasks lists become numerous and cannot yet be accomplished, nor are you given how to accomplish them. For just finding items for the hidden object part of the game it is alright and that is the straight forward part of the game. I would rather not have to add friends in order to accomplish part tasks. I was hoping it focused primarily on just finding hidden objects.

Hand out for $$. New players be aware that developer NO LONGER supports this game. They have admitted on Facebook they no longer support. GI doesn't seem to have a problem creating different ways for them to make actual hard cash but they can't seem to fix their server problems. It's been going on for months. Ok but repetitive. As you progress in the game it takes longer and longer to make progress, all the while doing the same things over and over. At level 26 and about to say enough and move onto something else.

Customer Service bordering on fraud!. At its best game is ADDICTIVE, however the game rarely operates at its best. Recently the game was experience has degraded significantly: no game improvements, frequent and significant game errors, incorrect instructions for game quests, increasing cost of in game purchase items, unreasonable requirements to achieve advancement. Boycott currently in place involving thousands of players. That tells you something is very wrong.

Think before downloading.... Promises, promises, promises, that is all you will receive from the game maker. The game has had no updates in 6 months, games issues not resolved and old events recycled. It’s not fun anymore and in-game currency offers are outrageously expensive. The company’s customer service approach and response time is awful. Longtime players have tried to work with the company to make significant changes, to no avail. Expensive Trouble Ridden Frustration. Don't bother getting this game. Starts out fun and easy then the quests become impossible unless you spend money. Horrible support. I think they’ve abandoned game since they haven’t updated or added new quests for months. Servers are overloaded and it can take hours to get access. The game lacks logic.

Too many problems. This game requires a long term commitment but I find that the creators (GI) do not return that commitment. Constant problems and today my entire game was wiped out. If I had paid a lot of money for my diamonds (I did not) I would be livid. I played the game for over 5 years but will not return.

Completed a task but didn't get credit for it.. I recently played a mini game which said I got it all but when the reward was supposed to come, it never did.
