Lost everything. I have been using this app for years and unfortunately lost all of my notes today when I updated my iPhone. I am extremely disappointed that I have lost notes from years ago and will never use this app again.

The ads are full screen & insanely obnoxious. Don’t even bother. Loved this app before it decided to ruin itself. Full screen ads that lock until you hit “install” on whatever video game spam they’re selling. Great job, team. Fantastic ruination of your product.

Ads after purchasing the app. I’ve been using this app for many years, I purchased it, but I still have to deal with annoying ads. It’s indecent and not professional.

No Predictive Text. A recent version of this got rid of predictive text, so that now even the standard Notes app is easier to use. Why? Also, it takes an extra keystroke to access the custom keys, which use to be displayed at all times just above the keyboard. Can I roll this back to a previous version?

Great App. There’s no other note app like this, I’ve used it for years. Everything about is great, it would be perfect but the only problem is, sometimes the notes you take do not save and get deleted. I just recently spent hours typing very organized notes, only to find that it all deleted shortly after, and every old note I deleted before ended up reappearing.

If no problems, no problems.. I have used this app for at least four and a half years. I have used it for personal use and several hobbies that I have wanted to document along the way. I recently had a lot of notes building up and I knew I needed to do a backup. I did my normal backup on this app and shortly after everything was wiped out. I didn’t think anything about losing everything because I knew I had a backup. I tried to reload my backup multiple times and I got nothing. I reset my phone. I tried to load my backup with WiFi on and off and no luck either way. Still nothing. I thought I would take my issue up with an email to the company. I sent them an email a week ago hoping to get a response. Honestly, since this company is a tech company I am disappointed with their customer service option. I have only been able to contact them with email and no live chat support. So far, they have not contacted me about my backup or the issues I have had. I loved this app and I would have easily given them a five star review until I had problems and they ditched me, the customer.

Lost notes found!. Thought I’d lost all of my notes after the last upgrade but remembered to turn the phone off for a soft reset and there they were 🙃 AGAIN!!! I have so many notes in each folder that it would be wonderful if there was a way to search for the one particular item I’m looking for instead of searching the whole list - it’s too cumbersome the way I have to do it now- otherwise I love this app ❤️❤️❤️ and would give it 5 stars ⭐️

Truly Amazing. I have used this for numerous months and its so convenient to use, its great for organization and its easy to use. Only thing I wish about it is if you could lock specific journals with a passcode or something, in case you want that extra privacy for a specific note you'd prefer no one seeing, that would be nice.

Stuck on “Processing...”. I went to open my notes app and it is stuck on “Processing...”. I have notes in there that I do not want to lose but can’t get to them. I emailed support almost 2 weeks ago and have received zero response. I am running the most recent version which was just updated yesterday. Please help.

Needs an update for iPhone 14 pro. Will not print any files as soon as I hit print it closes the app. I reinstalled the app, and it still does the same thing. everything else works fine.

Wiped out. I’ve had this app for several years and when I updated it, all of my notes were wiped clean... nothing left. I’ve emailed their support email and have heard nothing back yet. Hopefully I will.

Help. I love this app had since 2013. However made mistake a deleted app off the phone. Now all my notes are gone. It stated that in icloud backup. Well how do I get to that to restore my documents.

Still works great for me!. I’ve been using BluLines for several years and it still works great for me! I have the free version, so I have to deal with adds, but aside from that, it’s great. And if you want to get rid of adds, you can always purchase the upgraded non-ads version. Just wanted to put the plug in for this app since I’ve seen a lot of overly negative reviews. The app is still great for taking and organizing notes. Backing up is also pretty easy.

Navigate. I thought this app would work for me. I showed certain items I needed as well as color & sizing of text also bold, underline, & etc that I wanted. Said go to features which is not in the free version. If the free version doesn’t have that then I need to move on & find one that does cause that could be a deal breaker. Pls advise.

Done. Several times I have spent a good amount of time making important changes to current lIsts only to have them revert back to where I started and I lost everything. I’m looking for a new app now. I used to like this app but with this and all the ads that won’t go away I'm just done.

Love the app but........ The older version you could change the background colors and font colors to your own likings. I used a black background and neon green letters as I play in a band and in dark rooms so it worked perfectly for that. Now, with the update, I don’t have that option anymore. Or if so, I need to know where it is.

Good, But Could Be Better. Incorporate finger print for access would help. Also, had to reload the app on my iPhone and now I am getting ads after having paid to not deal with them. If this isn’t resolved I will quit using the app.

Good but glitchy. Like the conscience of organizing and keep notes in folders but it’s so glitchy. App is constantly crashing and lots of ads.

iPhone Updates👎. Since the last 3 iPhone updates I have not been able to print from the App!!! Talk about messing up a good App-thanks “bug fixes”!! I have been using this App to track the building of my guitars and used to be able to print any page I wanted. Now when you select “Print” you are taken completely out of the App!!! No printing available!! Please check this out and hopefully find a solution soon. Thanks

Info added isn’t staying saved. I use this app all the time & come back & make changes to notes, add new notes, rearrange things & when I come back to the not it doesn’t have the information saved. Please get this fixed as I use this app constantly. I will happily change my rating after its fixed I just need it to keep all the information i am changing on the app.

No updates. It would be appreciated for those of us who purchased the “no ads” version to see intermittent updates. One especially — sync across devices!

Don’t use. I have had this app for a while and really liked using it, but I have now lost all of my data TWICE just from updating the app. I won’t be making this mistake again. No longer using this app because I can’t trust it to keep my data.

Browser connect feature gone ?. This app used to be able to open a connection to edit your notes in a web browser. It was the feature that kept me using this app. Is this feature gone in the recent updates ?

Highlighting and enhanced text. I have been using this app for several years. I believe I have purchased additional features. However, I find that features I enjoyed I no longer have - such as the ability to highlight in several colors, colored text, insertion of date etc. However I am not sure if I turned off something in error. I contacted Support but no one has reached out. This is quite disconcerting to me. Kindly assist.

Quick and clean. Did not like this app with adds but it is perfect now. I don’t have to refresh my memory about how to use the app every time I open it. Make new notes easy. Find old notes easy.

What the hell?. As a poet and songwriter I’ve used this app for years and basically watched it turn to crap. When I have an idea to write something I have to wait to exit out of a video, so bloop there goes the idea. I used to love the feature to lock my notes but honestly I find myself just using apple’s built-in notes app because my ideas are money that I rather not lose. I hate to do this because I have enjoyed this app for years and have enjoyed it. This update doesn’t even save my font settings. I went as far as rewriting everything in a journal because I can’t deal with how annoying this app is to use anymore.

Absolutely essential. This app is absolutely essential to everything I do. For everyone who needs to keep track of more than a few things and stay organized, this app is the way to go.

Is this an ads app or a notes app?. Advertisements all the time. Many with sound that interrupt what you’re listening to. Many ads are long and they purposely hide the x so you can’t skip it. Many times when you skip it you end up getting sent to the ad page. It’s gotten extremely annoying. Do not get.

Inappropriate Ads Popping Up. Pop up ads are bad enough but recently the same inappropriate ad has been popping up on my phone. I could not immediately delete or close it and the ad automatically started with sound. I originally got this app when no adds existed. I am looking for a new app.

Switching phones. If I get a new phone will the information I put in this app transfer when I download it on my new phone? Just don’t want to lose my stuff in this app.

If You Value Your Notes and Time, Move On!. The ads are annoying, especially since the default is volume on. What’s worse though is losing all my notes and the backups failing to work...they are blank! I’ll be moving on to another app!

Blulines. in general i like this app very much... one major issue: when you scroll through a file in order to add to notes, and place the cursor where you want it, the view automatically scrolls back to the cursor's last position... you have to find your way through the file a second time in order to type where you placed the cursor. extremely frustrating.

LOUD ADS!. Every time I open the app a VERY OBNOXIOUS LOUD VIDEO AD plays with no way to change in settings. I deleted the app because of this. I could never open the app when in public. I get having ads, but this is just rude!

Back it up!. If you don’t back it up you can loose years worth of notes, even if just for an app update. Beware! That’s the biggest missing function - automatic data management that doesn’t need a backup, like most other apps… Otherwise it would’ve gotten 5…

Love the ability to have notes in a category. I looked at several “note” programs, and this was the best one that didn’t just have specific notes, but the ability to have many notes listed under a category. I’ve used BluLines for years and love it!

I use to love it. I loved this app. I have soo many things noted in here. I am contemplating on deleting it because of the ads. It’s super annoying. And I’m not paying $10 bucks! Especially after reading some of the reviews that even when you pay the ads are still there. Just awful 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Use at your own risk. I haven’t used this app in years. I’m still angry about all the notes I’ve lost while using this app. Apple notes has come a long way and is still my reliable source for retaining all my crucial notes. Ultimately no one app is trustworthy, so always backup your notes no matter what you use. Apps like these are usually vulnerable when an update occurs. If data is lost, there’s almost no way to recover this information leaving you helpless. So I caution anyone to trust especially a third party app. The features they offer are great, but none of that matters with no data.

Gone South. No support. Emailed them several time with NOTHING response. Can’t backup from the backup file. Lots of data on the line. It worked when I bought it doesn’t anymore. I will NEVER buy any of their apps and suggest you don’t either.

So annoyed!. I'm really annoyed. I use this app daily, several times a day. I have hundreds of notes. First of all, I lost a great deal of notes in the upgrade a while ago. :-( Second, THE ADDS!!! I paid for the lifetime upgrade when I first got the app. I am an artist and use this for lyric support and now have to wait for the add to pull up my lyrics etc. even when you X out it still goes to the add and you have to go back to the app. Either the adds go or I go or at least refund my money for the upgrades. I am also frustrated with the fact that everything triples and quadruples when I try to sync between devices. Looking for a new app to utilize!!! Very disappointed!!

Run, run, run. I purchased this app when it first came out. After paying to remove the annoying ads years ago... they still stick annoying ads requesting one to pay $3.99 to remove them. It’s a scam.

ALMOST perfect!!. As a writer I use this app and my notes tend to get pretty long… it would be useful if you added a feature that took you to the bottom of a note you were writing, since some of my notes are well over 20k words and all that scrolling is just a pain. Thanks!

Kicked out. I love this app. I use it very often but after the update it kicks me out of the app when I am scrolling through my notes. It is very frustrating. Please fix this issue so I can give 5 stars. Thank you!

Ads Removal. I had this application for few years it is very good I had it in my personal phone and my business phone as well However after you purchase it to eliminate Ads they keep showing up It is very annoying Is that a Fraud even though you pay to eliminate ads the keep showing up ? Otherwise they will get 5 Stars !!!!

App suddenly won’t work. I foolishly trusted this app with a good bit of info and it suddenly will not open and I no longer have access to the info / notes. I’ve emailed support multiple times and they have not responded. I recently downloaded the latest update to the app, hoping that maybe it was a bug they had fixed, but I’m still getting the same problem. I won’t use it anymore, but I want my notes back.

I loved this app when it was still NOTES but.... App has turned crappy over the years. Ads will appear everywhere and it’s not encrypted. Time to look for another similar app.

The Best File System App. Works just like a file cabinet! Couldn’t live without it!

Can’t reload. Been using for years now, can’t reload data from a backup whether it’s BluLines or Dropbox Very disappointed, all my equipment data is sitting there but won’t reload

Five Stars. Congratulations on the simplicity of your app. Just wanted something easy to use instead of others with bells and whistles! Folders and pass lock suit me. I tire of all the others!!

Diary. I wrote a diary for 69 days..now it will not let me open it..with photos...now I only rate it one as I can't get to it...before...when working Five star.. Are you able to fix the problem?????? Still have not heard anything from web site and see others are having trouble also...and your site is not answering any questions???

One problem. Great app. Just noticed after the update on iPhone with the app passcode lock on you can still read the last viewed page if you bring up the background apps.

Ads are... Can the small rectangle ads on the bottom of the pages be removed or removable by paying? The ads are always flashing and distracting me from my work and sometime I miss where I am going to tap and I end up tapping on the ads; it takes me out of the app and I have to wait for things to load to be able to exit the ad I just tapped on. The large full screen video ads are annoying but I can deal with those. But the little ones are always distracting to the point of immense frustration! I keep crossing those tiny ads off multiple time but they come back every 20 seconds! And it’s usually the same few ads appearing again and again and again and again and again.. Your app helps me get things done but it’s just so frustrating with the ads..

Issues with backup. Backing up and restoring has an issue which is frustrating. When restoring an error message appears stating there is some form of corruption. The only fix is to uninstall the app from either iPad or iPhone reinstall then restore. Can this be fixed please. Aside from that bug (non-trivial) the application is great. Fixing this problem will definitely move the rating up to at least a 4 to 4.5 stars. Kind regards Steve

Can't trust it. I thought this app was great and recommended it to friends. Then it started acting up And notes I deleted reappeared, and even worse, important notes I wrote disappeared like it never happened. Documents. I have upgraded the app but when I go into the document folder all my documents are not in order. They are all unsorted and show how many days since last opened. Can I put them in newest first as the old version did. !!

" Temporary " Solution.. I'm using this App too, and too am experiencing the Crash on the most recent update ( iOS version 6.x.x ). However it appears the latest update in fact remains stable and working just fine on iOS 8.x , so if you're using this App across multiple devices with at least one device running iOS 8.x and you have a latest backup of your notes somewhere on-line, something like Dropbox ( which is what I do ), a " Temporary " solution is to download the previous evolution of the N+otes App called simply " N+ote " onto the device running iOS 8.x ( where the latest N+otes update works fine ). Functionally, " N+ote " works and operates just like " N+otes ", but the backups are not compatible between the two Apps, so you have to manually do a Copy and Paste of each note from N+otes onto N+ote ( on the device running iOS 8.x ). When you have Replicated a full carbon copy of the notes from N+otes onto N+ote, Backup the notes from N+ote on-line. Download and install " N+ote " onto the device where " N+otes " is crashing and restore your notes from your on-line backup into " N+ote ". This is what I have done. This will serve as a temporary solution until the next update of " N+otes ". A bit tedious I know, but it is the next best solution while we wait for the next ( hopefully working ) update of " N+otes ".

Lost years of writing and poetry. I have kept my old phone for 5 years for this specific reason As to use solely for my writing A simple update to the app erased everything and although the cloud button was on the update does not allow me to access my writings this is years of songs poems and letters I put trust in this app to hold and they have stolen it all from me!!!! I am furious not only did I pay for the full function no ad addition many years ago this greedy business in the app update requires me to pay it again when years ago it was a one time only Payment Don’t trust this app at all !!!!!

Doesn't sync well between devices.. I can't totally bag this app but I cannot recommend it either. This app started off as a really useful app 18 months ago but over time I've noticed that notes are not syncing between my devices. That's a real nuisance. I like being able to have folders. I might have too many notes. The developers need to spend time fixing the glitches. However, I think they will doing nothing about improving this app because they want people to buy their paid app. Ah well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm currently searching around for another app I can download that will do the same job. You do indeed get what you pay for... Until you pay for an upgrade but don't get it which is apparently a problem for some users.

Don’t bother - too many ads. So I used to like this app. It’s unfortunate you can’t paste screenshots. I have paid twice to remove ads and now they are back again. I consider this to be double dipping. Paying to remove ads should only be needed once. So now I am very disappointed. I refuse to pay a third time and I have too many notes and don’t want to waste more of my life transferring them out. So as a heads up, if you are considering this app, be warned about the ads……. Paying to removed them does not last. 🙄

Disappointed. I’ve used this app happily since 2014 to write my workouts in, I could basically see my progress over the years with these notes. Unfortunately after recently updating the app your update has cleared all my notes. Thanks.

Suits all my needs, but sync?. It is just what I need , but it never syncs between phone and ipad properly , sometimes a long delay , sometimes never.

Used to be one of the best!. I saved and categorized almost all my notes on this! Until the pop up Ads were added and most of them were Ads with 70% naked women (explain that to the wife)... Better yet, it costs 7.99$ to remove Ads!!! Why?!?! I'm just a few Ads away from deleting the app, just got to figure out where to put my notes and poems for now... Such a shame what it's become to really

Premium too expensive for a notes app. Really liked the app until the ads started popping up. Went to purchase premium to go add free but at $8, it's too pricey when there are so many other note apps out there. Would have gladly thrown a couple of dollars at it. Back to Apple notes.

Crashed with all my notes. I do hope the next update fixes this. I have some amazing and important notes Which I can't access. I was really happy with the app until this but haven't done backups 😒

I love it. But Password lock does not work. The password lock does not work, when first time opening the app. Once it's fixed, it's perfect for organizing the notes. Thanks a lot for developing this App:)

UPDATE?. Every time I try to scroll to the top of a note, it automatically goes back down to the bottom and I can never get to the top without exiting the folder then going back into it. It's really frustrating and considering I use this app frequently. Is there and update that could be made to prevent this?

Paid full price - still get Ads!. The app works great but the annoying ads keep showing up. I paid the full price for this and I still get ads showing up. Now it’s asking for another $10 to stop the “annoying ads”. Not cool. Currently now looking for a another app to use.

Unusable on multiple devices. Have been using this on iPhone and works fine. However, recently purchase an iPad mini and I turn on iCloud sync. The app constantly crash and my iCloud data is corrupted. All my notes are now gone, even on the iPhone! Lucky I made a backup to Dropbox a month ago so I was able to retrieve some of my notes.

iCloud sync crashes every time. Love this app BUT every time I try iCloud sync it crashes. This is on multiple devices and over several versions of the app and iOS. Even deleted the app and tried again. Still didn't work. Please fix

NOT Free at all!! A monthly subscription - Say what??. How to fail as a new App in 2 easy steps: 1. Call your App free (free for one more day - & one more day, & one more .... Then reveal in the settings, a fee for using the App beyond the most rudimentary functions... 2. Not only charge an undisclosed fee, but make it a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE !! Yes, a note pad game enough to charge a subscription fee - & for what amazing features? Um, folders, & pics... The only people silly enough to fall for this just do not know how many fantastic notebook Apps there are in the Store which charge from nothing, to a modest once-off fee. Conclusion: another one into the can ;)

Faults. This is one of my favourite apps & I use it almost daily. however lately after clicking 'done' and then 'back' (To return to my folders) it closes itself! Numerous times I have set custom colours & it doesn't save them. Very annoying.

Looks Good. Downloaded the free main app, great! However, upgrades aren't working for me - am able to make the purchases and get billed for them, but can't download. Waiting a reply from dev's, so hope it can be re-solved!

Ok. It is an ok app but way to over priced. $50 or something to unlock all the features that are needed for projects and those features are limited. Get this if you have some money to spend.

Upgrade rip offs. I have bought and been charged for a suite of upgrades that have never happened. Feeling ripped off. Also the page does not scroll when using key board so you cannot see what you are typing. I see these are similar complaints to others so obviously the developers have not resolved yet. Avoid until fixed.

App crushes. App crushes every time I open one of my files and I need to access them ASAP please fix it

Crashes when setting up sync. When trying to upload data to icloud. Both iPad and iPhone have this problem. Please fix!! The App Support button doesn't work on the app's listing within the store either so unable to contact developers directly.

Love it. I like the idea of having notes in folders. It sorts everything out and organises things the way you want to.

Mac!!!!. This app is fantastic syncs with my iPhone and iPad really well and i use it all the time. The only improvement I want is to be able to use it on my Mac, can you guys do anything?

Notepad. I've been waiting for a notepad app like this for ages. You can organize in folders change font, doesn't look childish or boring just awesome!

Very good. Way better then the useless iphone notepad. All it needs is to be able to link to phone numbers and websites through the notes, that's the only downside.

Paid but very disappointed. I paid $27. subscription to what?? Great app. But I would at least expected to have no stupid ads. And I still have to buy the upgrades?? Are you serious? Not worth it ,feeling ripped off. Tried to record??does that even work ...nope

Upgrade Rip Off. Don't buy this app. I've bought upgrades twice to get rid of the initial message prompts. They take your money but the app does not upgrade and you keep getting the annoying start up message. Moral of the story. Don't buy upgrades. Have sent emails to developer. They never reply.

LOST ALL CONTENT!!!!. I have used this app for YEARS and just was forced to update it and it no longer has the option to be offline which was where my entire collection of important info was saved. It had crucial information about an array of areas of my life. Absolutely furious!

Fantastic App. This app is fantastic as an index for my read library books. You could use it for recipes or anything that needs sorting alphabetically. I've looked for something like this for months so I'm thrilled to have found it. Thanks

N+OTES. I have really enjoyed using this App until the last update. I can not access any of my stored information the App is continually crashing. I hope it is fixed soon.

All good things come to an end. After months of waiting for the last update that completed ruined to app to the point of it loading and not opening (trust me it's not an amount of space on my phone issue) I was looking foreword so much to an update. When the new update finished I was hoping it was fixed and I could retrieve all my lost notes but sadly... It's the same thing again. Opens then crashes. I can't even change any of my settings or save anything! Very annoyed about these updates from my use to be most used app.

Synching problem. Yes it was good when I got it about 1.5 years ago. But lately I cant seem to synch the data properly between 2 devices. I lost all data in my phone

Great!. Your app is great, perfect for writing stories and keeping track of things, and I loved how it had folders when most apps didn't. But I would like to see and upgrade when we can use italic and bold lettering.

Aesthetically pleasing. For a free app, this is quite good. Very easy navigation, multiple notes permitted and best of all lots of different themes to choose from. Could improve slightly with a folders within folders for better organization, but overall good job.

Good, but..... I have the full version of this app, but you need to be able to: - apply "to do" lists to specifics parts (rather than everything) - photos / images should be able to be dropped into the text rather than stored above as attachments - there should be an "undo" button (that's probably the most important - I almost lost all my work yesterday!!) - some other Word formatting things like bold, italic, and font size Apart from that, a great app that I really enjoy using in my university course. Hopefully the above features are added in time. Definitely recommended.

Amazing. Hey I would just like to say that I love this app I have been searching for something like this for ages and it's great for organizing school, personal and work information and notes. I would highly recommend the use of this app due to the convenience of folders and notes. Defiantly a 10/10 :D

I use it every day. It's really worth getting the "Folder Groups" option, made a big difference when I added this. e.g. I have 'Business', 'Personal', 'Writing' main groups then sub-folders within them. I paste song lyrics, important emails etc. easily into separate note pages. I've been able to add a note with a story in it that came from a 20 page word doc- it's one big long scroll but it fits and works really well. I agree with other review though: if I could easily place photos anywhere in the note then I'd prob buy that option. One complaint: you can't just 'click' on Phone Numbers, URLs or Email addresses like you can with that basic iPhone note app. :-( Guys! Fix this and you easily have one of the Best Apps anyone could ever get for their iPhone!

Payed for the app. Now get lots of ads. I have had this app for several years. Payed for an upgrade. Then all of a sudden a few months ago they changed it and now every time I open it I get an add. So distracting. Am looking for another todo app. A shame because I used to recommend it.

Lost 2 years of writing. What the hell is going on I have lost all my writing for the past 2 years this is my book publication I need urgent help can any please help. iCloud stuffed up again this time on the iPad last it was the iPhone iCloud has taken all my data and stored it somewhere where it can't be retrieved,,, can any one help why can't we contact the notes help desk,, this is peeving me off big time I have a deadline to get these writing in to be published

Handy. I like the simple design. I don't require images or themes but one thing I'd like to see is the introduction of sub folders. I upgraded the folders but haven't worked out how to do this or even if you can. Otherwise, this is a great app for organizing notes for my books and blog. Ads are bad UX. I have been using this app for years and plan to switch over to another app. The ads that pop up randomly are distracting and a terrible user experience. The only way to remove them is at a charge which is also a terrible experience. I use the app to write notes while in a Business meetings and suddenly this loud ad disrupts the use of the app.

Crashing 24/7!. I am using an iPod 4the gen., and it was working great. But now it SUCKS because all it does is crash know that I updated it! It's so stupid! Used to work now it doesn’t. Used to love this and paid for the full app to avoid the ads - then suddenly after a few years the ads came back for no reason. There is no ability to contact them. Do not pay for full version.

CRASH. This used to be such a great app! But now I'm having the same problem as many others. It crashes every time I open it, as soon as I open it. I can no longer see/edit/add notes. This app has become unfunctional and I do hope that the problem is fixed so I can use it again.

Crash fix. In menu settings, do an iCloud sync... Send an email back up to yourself to ensure you keep your files (also done through settings in the menu)... Delete the app from device... Redownload it, connect to iCloud (do NOT PERFORM A SYNC), and viola... Files are good to go!

Very Minor Problem, PLEASE FIX!. After IOS9, this has became a minor but really irritating problem: when I am typing in app and the keyboard is up and if I click directly out of the app like the home button or fast-travel to an app and come back, there is this huge white space that covers up the page as it appears the keyboard has jumped and glitched over the screen so everytime I have to go back to the folder section and come back to the note to have it normal again. This could be prevented if I click done on the upper right hand corner of the app to close the keyboard but I tend to go from one app to another to look and record notes and it's a pain to have to close it every single time when I want to exit the app. Fixing this would make life so much easier. Thanks. **Update: Although the update did fix part of the issue, sometimes when I had the keyboard opened and quick-travel to another app through double pressing home and come back to N+otes and the lock activated, once I enter, the space that the keyboard glitched is still there.

Occasionally Problematic. On occasion, it is not possible to view the lower half of any particular note. Since Apple has introduced a folder structure to their native notes program, it makes this app unnecessary in my opinion. I very much dislike the ads, but free is free. Three stars for that.

Disappointed feeling Duped.. I purchased this app and PAID for it through the Apple Store from my iPhone to avoid ads. I used this app for everything. It’s great! I’d give it a five star however purchasing it does not make you able to avoid the intrusive ads which are back and very distracting. Very loud and long and embarrassing when you’re in a meeting looking for a quick note when you’re doing a presentation. If you can locate an alternative app, you might be wise to go there for it. Unless they drop the ads once paid for.

Figured out how to restore from iCloud. I lost all the notes since my backup in November for no apparent reason. The app glitched and wouldn't load properly. If you use this app, use the backup feature super frequently, not just before updating the app. TO RESTORE: click "Backup Reminder!" Then click "Reload". It will ask if you want to replace your existing notes with the ones saved in your iCloud account. Do that. (If you have any new notes, save them elsewhere and recreate them afterwards.) For posterity... Everything I had was erased in an update. Some kind of warning in the update would have been helpful. Super angry about this - how is it that the app remembers the password I set but has lost ALL my notes? It's great that the new version has a backup feature with prompts. Too bad you didn't prompt people to back up their notes before releasing this update. PLEASE FIX. I am not deleting the app yet, I hope it is something reversible. The lack of acknowledgement of this problem in the subsequent updates causes me to leave a 3-star rating. If the developers had described the problem and how to fix it in their update releases, I would have given 4 stars because I love so much else about this app. (Still not 5 because this problem never should have happened in the first place, especially not without warning.)

Terrible. The update ruined the app. I tried updating the app today and it didnt finish even after 4hours. I restarted my Ipad and the app disappeared completely. All my assignments, writing, work, GONE. Do NOT update or download, use something else that won't destroy your stuff.

Not Any Good. I got notice I could update the Notes App, which I had been using & happy with for quite a long time. Worst thing I could have ever done. The Apps keeps crashing when attempting to open. Frustrating as well is that I can see the titles for each of my note files.....cannot access. Lost it all. With the new update I lost everything. Last backup was over a year ago. Is there any way to recover from he update and get my stuff back. I use it for tons of important data being as it can be locked Edit - after searching for backups and opening the app 5 times it came up with a backup now and continue option. I backed up and then continued and all my folders and notes showed up. Would have been less aggravating if those options showed up the first time. Lost ALL of my notes as well..... Thanks to the power of the cloud sync, I lost all my entries on all my devices in just a matter of seconds. Isn't technology great!!! And the "backup" option is useless as well. Tried to e-mail it to me, but it says my mail isn't setup to send. Used Drop Box option, and opened in app, but it doesn't even restore properly from there either. I spent hours setting up the notes as I just purchased it yesterday. And I PAID for the lifetime subscription as well. Thanks guys. I LOVE having to keep doing a double entry.... one in the stock Notes app as a reliable backup and one in N+.to get them in the desired folder and format.

GREAT. If you're looking for a simple notes app that can help you take notes and doesn't have a 1000+ plus features to side track you, then this is the app for you. Thought it doesn't have a lot of features, the ones it does have are pretty good and will really help get the job done. Also, being a free app is a huge plus really good and I doubt you'll find and app for the iPad as good as this for free.

Terrible. Composing notes in this app is terrible. The screen does not move down as you type. When you minimize the keyboard to view the full page of the note, everything disappears when you maximize the keyboard again. You then have to exit the note and go back into it for it to work properly. The ads make it extremely tacky as well. This used to be a decent note-taking app a year ago, better than the iPhone's built-in Notes app, but that has changed. I sincerely feel sorry for anyone who has paid for this app, especially because they appear to be bombarded with ads too. Not cool, BluLines. Not cool at all.

Yeah, so.... The app is great, it is just amazing. The thing is, after the new update- all the additional upgrades from notes+ are now available. That is great and all, but I just spent the last 6 months spending money to actually get the upgrades... I realize that I probably will not get my money back, but isn't there something that should be given to people who actually bought the upgrades? As I said before, this app is amazing and I love it, the only thing that gets me are the upgrades.

GREAT ! needs some updates though. This is a GREAT app! it is my main note-taking app over Pages, which i only use for essays and presentations and stuff like that. What i really like about this app is how organized it is, with the use of folders very easy to access on the side. And also the notebook layout is one of the main reasons i use it, it gives more of a traditional feel. However, i would really like to see some updates such as different fonts, italics bold and underline, and importing pictures into your notes. These would all be helpful approvements to an already great app. If your thinking where you should write your notes, this app is definitely it.

Good but... Money stealing upgrades but its functionality and simplicityness is very nice. Please add more options for user interface. Folder passwords. Google sync also. Also would be nice for you to add things like maps and drawings . You really shouldn't have to pay for the ability to add folder groups either. If you want to sell it ..it better be worth buying you know? Well I still paid. Feel stolen from but it's a nice app for organizing anything for an ADHD person with lots of interests.

What I've Been Looking For!!. What the iPhone has always been missing! I miss the days of Palm PDAs which had a very simple but useful Notes app, where you could store notes in folders. This has just the right amount of features w/o going overboard and intuitive interface. Everything I need for quick notes, journaling, categorizing and searching is right here. Make it ultra-reliable and charge me $5. Please, no PC or DropBox synching. Keep it simple. Maybe add a note locking option for added privacy like the Palms had. 9/10 stars!

Amazing!. This app is just the thing I was looking for. If you want something that'll let you keep your notes more organized than the default notes app, plus has a bunch of extra features, this is your app. In order to get all features however, you need to either purchase them or run the app with ads. But this isn't even an issue since the ad it gives you is barely noticable.

Loved it before.....but now, everything gone!. I used N+tes almost daily before two weeks ago. It had everything I needed to keep safe and secure, was easy to update and use. I was able to export info easily and it backed up to my iPad easily. Now with this new version, I’ve tried to restore all of my info and it only gives me an error message or locks up the app so I eventually have to delete the app again and start over. I sent an email backup in the npotes format, but this doesn’t seem to be able to sync with the new app. I can see it on my phone and even when I want to restore from backup, but it is greyed out so I can’t use it for backup. Have sent a few requests to the developers last week and the week before, but have since not received an answer. I have used this for 5-7 years now and don’t want to change apps, but I can’t lose all of my files. CAN’T! Please help! Before 2 weeks ago, would have given this app 5+ stars......now? More like 3 stars due to the past use, but it’s quickly dropping.

💗💗 Love this app! 💗💗. I love this app! I am glad that I found it. It allows me to change and customize my themes, buttons, paper, and so forth to my liking. Unlimited notes as far as disk space on your phone will allow is also nice. If I wanted to, I can even password protect my notes by enabling Password Protection in the settings. That is also nice. The other features of the app including photos, audio recording, and video clip attachments, is ok. It even allows for the creation of folders to keep certain notes separate and organized in proper folders! Outstanding! You can even move notes from folder to folder if needed! I have an iPhone6+, and I have not had any problems with it whatsoever! Thanks for a superb app! Don't ever delete this off the App Store! I like it to much to see it go!

I have the free version for 3 years and LOVE it. FYI to those who think they lost all their notes, I went through that too (for a moment) but i refused to believe they were gone & hoped it was a glitch. Well then I discovered my phone had to have a good strong signal. I would close the app & re open it until I got a strong enough signal for everything to reload into the app. I still open it all the time &things don't load initially, but its all still there & just have to re open the app over & over. I hope that helps!

questions about how to fix crashing problems?. My app crashes before I can open a folder, before I can do anything at all. As soon as it opens it crashes. I've done all of the resetting of my phone, etc but not working. I am not understand how to open it in a web browser, can someone give me more details? I have no way of accessing anything at all to email it to myself so that I can even delete the app to reload it. Can anyone help? I've tried contacting RIEU Limited multiple times, they have not responded at all. Does anyone know when they will fix the problem, you would think with all of the bad reviews on here they would do something. I loved and used the app so much of my life it on it.

Still a great app. After several years I still use this app because it has more features than the Apple notes app; the main ones for me are the ability to arrange your notes and folders alphabetically, and to be able record audio on a note. As for the negative reviews, the "remove add" feature has always worked for me, but as I recall, I had to use it again after upgrading phones. I hope the company hasn't discontinued support for this app.

Great!. I'm not sure why this app is getting bad reviews- its perfect. I did lose part of a story once, but shut my iPod down completely and turned it back on and it was back. It's a great app and definitely recommend it for people writing books; you can make folders with title name, then put folders inside for different chapters. Option to open at most recent entry. This app is solid, I like it lots. I updated recently (after probably a long time) and found that every file now opens at the beginning/top of the entry, whereas before it opened at the bottom/end. I have a couple very long notes, and now I have to scroll all the way down to make an addition. I liked it better before, I’d love it it could be changed back or otherwise an option added in settings (if it is an option and I’m not seeing it, my apologies). Thanks!

Won't Save new files; won't delete old files.. Iphone 5 & iPad2. This was a good app, sometime before the last 2 or 3 upgrades (mid- Dec 12). At first I thought the problem was syncing to icloud. The free program worked if you don't sync to iCloud OR do a backup. (the prices on subscriptions & the full app is way to high for this type of App. There are many other better apps out there, but once I did like this one). Others complained, but no fixes seemed to be have been made yet. I tried today (upgrade was just released) and I did a iCloud sync, I didn't trust it, but it seemed to work. So, I downloaded my backup from December. All downloaded ok. But once again, any file I delete, comes back again (even after rebooting my phone completely). Any file I add, does not get saved after I close out the app completely.

Keeps crashing here too. Go to add a note to a folder keeps crashing! Go to I tunes and hit app support button does nothing. Highlight a word press done and the font gets real small until you exit and return. This is the Upgrade for life version. Has a lot of great features still needs work! Update! Now if you hit the app support button it goes to your facebook account! Don't worry with that ole notes app! Your friends on Facebook are happy! Isn't that better? If your app won't let you add a note to a folder uncheck manual sorting and check alphabetical sorting. Hope this helps someone! Now back to Facebook support!!! Enjoy!

Nice with Major Flaws. It works really well for most basic purposes, but sometimes it will not work as intended. For example, writing in it is sometimes hindered by a small but that prevents you from editing the last line, and the backup never worked, and it cuts off audio when you launch it. If you plan on investing a lot of time and effort into your notes, choose a more stable app. If you just need basic text folders and documents saved, this is really elegant.

I Got A SOLUTION, TRY THIS!!!. Ok, I've been very frustrated like most of u guys but whoever mentioned about turn on the ad mode and fix it, thank you so much as it actually works!!! My case was opposite, my ad was turned on before the crash, so I went in and did the opposite and now I can open my notes now. So for those who want to give it a try please go to Upgrades and then go to the Ads Supported Mode and turn on or off (just do the opposite) and then you should be able to see your notes again!!! Good luck everyone!!!

I can't backup anything!. I'm going to be getting a new phone soon so I want to backup all my notes somewhere that I can safely keep them and know they'll be okay during the switch. My iCloud storage says that it's full. I try to backup to Dropbox (even downloaded the Dropbox app like it says to) and signing in just does nothing, nothing happens. I try to email it like it says and the email is unable to be sent, it just doesn't work. I plug into my computer to try and download it online through a web browser, but there is no way to save all the notes easily. I have to copy and paste each individual note in my computer if I'm to save it. And that doesn't even work because the browser randomly decides that it suddenly can't find the page and I have to exit and come back which takes way too long. All I want is to save my freaking notes somewhere that isn't in this app but it won't let me. My last option I think is copying and pasting each note into something that DOES work on my phone and saving it that way. Ridiculous! This app is great for taking organized notes but the inability to transport them is a huge disadvantage. My suggestion to anyone thinking of spending years writing in an app to find something else that has less of a chance of your hard work going to waste. If I had known it would be this hard to move notes I never would have gotten this app.

Need backup and sync fixes. I love this app for its organizational aspects: alphabetizing of folders and color hi-lighting. Also, easy to share a note. Unfortunately, this app has a long way to go to keep me from looking for something better.. This app needs an update and fix to insure compatibility with new ICloud Drive.. Syncing between devices is not possible on newer devices using iCloud drive. Also, backing up does not work on either Dropbox or by emailing. When doing backup to Dropbox, message appears "no preview available. This file type can't be viewed". There is no app to export it to another app, at least on iPad 5. Do not waste your money on this app until they have fixed these things.

No support from developer. My wife installed this app as a replacement for Apple notes, because Apple stopped allowing lined paper in their app. It worked fine for her until she accidently deleted all her notes and had no backup. The backup in the app is off by default. This should be on or have an option presented during setup. I tried to get her data back, but could not retrieve it. I have sent numerous emails to their support and filled out the support form on their website, but have received no response. I would stay away from this app.

Easy to use. I have been using this app for over 4 years now and I find it very easy to use. I absolutely love the browser connect option for extracting and adding to current notes/files. I noticed that recently though any of my changes made while in browser connect wont save unless I delete something. It saves everything I delete. So i open my notes back up later and there are fragments of sentences missing, gobberish. Once I figured out that it doesnt save any added changes, i definitely won't be using browser connect mode until an update fixes that. Otherwise tho, this is my go to app for writing and saving files!

How To Fix The Crash. Just want to confirm that the suggestion several folks here have offered did work for me. Select your notes; e-mail them to yourself (this alone gets you the content if you desperately need it); delete and reinstall the app; then recreate the notes via cut/paste. Works fine after that. UPDATE: Actually it's easier than that. If it's crashing for you then you enabled ads to get additional features. Turn this off and you can access the notes again. This means I'm stuck with Helvetica for a font, which I hate, but it'll do until they (hopefully) fix the bug with the next update. TWO MONTHS LATER: Incredibly, this has still not been fixed. I have changed my rating to one star accordingly, and will seek out a replacement app. FOUR DAYS AFTER WRITING THAT: They finally fixed it. Thank god. Favorable rating restored minus one star for how long it took and for their complete lack of communication with anyone.

Security Flaw. I give this app five stars because it's an awesome app which I use every day and appreciate immensely however I titled it security flaw because, least on your iPhone when you double-click your home button, as you know, the app minimizes along with any other apps that are currently open. Security minded apps will generally ONLY show a minimized version of the login screen (the keypad). That's the exact fix needed. Otherwise here's the problem/here's what happens: EVEN IF you have you have "PASSWORD LOCK" (my original proposal) set to "immediately", you can still easily read the contents of your secure notes once minimized and you can even read the contents of that minimized note once you switch to another app and then return to your N+ote. Major issue but I believe it's an easy fix for Rieu, although I have asked for in the past.I still give it five stars because it *will* be a five-star app following that security fix. Thank you.

N+otes crashes since upgrade to 8.3. N+OTES crashes since updating to 8.3. I can go into my folders, but anytime I try to access an item, N+OTES crashes. I want the app that I enjoyed so much back. HELP!!! I'm totally blind and had tried other apps to get folders, etc. with no luck. Then i found N+OTES. I have folders, can make bulleted lists and so much more. And best of all it works great with Voiceover. Thank you for this product, and please keep those of us who use Voiceover in mind when creating changes and putting them out for updates.

Ads?? For paying customers?. Previously one of my favorite apps. On the last upgrade, they added apps. There is a "remove apps button for previously paying customers", but it does not work. Hopefully they will fix this glitch as otherwise it is a great app for writing and organizing notes and putting in folders. Also wish there was a way to contact them with questions. Since I paid for this app a year ago, I am contacting legal to see if they have taken illegal activity by adding ads and asking me to pay to remove. I would not have purchased this app had they had these ads prior. Poor business decision on heir part as these bad reviews are adding up and keeping away future potential customers. PLEASE FIX.

Promising for this former Palm User. UPDATED. UPDATE: just downgraded this app- when using icloud to sync between iphone/ipad, it does NOT keep the notes offline for access. In other words, I always have to have a connection to access the notes. NOT what I was looking for. Big flaw. Needs offline/auto sync capability! I've been looking for a good notes app for 3 years, since converting from Palm (10 yr user) to iPhone. Notes was last to go, why? Because IPHONE DOESN'T ALPHABETIZE! How stupid is that? I also would prefer a direct sync between iPhone/iPad/pc without a third party cloud, again like Palm. Found this app recently. It alphabetized! Decided I could live with iCloud as my sync- I don't use the backup but figure Apple already owns a piece of me anyway, so can try trusting them to be the cloud to sync my notes between at least phone and iPad, where I use them most anyway. ( But would still prefer direct sync, hence 4 instead of 5 stars). Nice bonus: folders. Never has that with Palm. Also, free with ads, so that is fine. Wish list: nesting folders (got me hooked on those now). And did I mention: It Alphabetizes!!!!

GREAT APP-2nd REVIEW. This is my updated review of this app after experimenting for a few days. I previously suggested an update in which "ICoud" could store the info and eliminate the need to e-mail yourself for backup. My question now is "Is there any way to e-mail all entries in a folder at one time? I have several folders with about 10-12 sub folder entries. I have not figured out a way to e-mail without doing each sub folder individually. This is taking way too much time!!!!!!! Thanks.

Recovery. I made the rookie mistake of cleaning my screen with N+otes turned on ( open and on the screen ). I was using a Zeiss Lens Cloth and my gestures were being read quite clearly. A micro cloth does no do this. Anyway... My gestures created a bizarre situation where some of my folders were gone, others noted that they had various quantities of notes inside them but they could not be seen. I could have restarted the iPad but I felt that might mean losing my notes. The "all notes" folder did show all my note so I went about the process of highlighting the note, select all, Cut, then pasting the note in an existing or newly created folder and adding a 'c' to the end of the first line so I'd know that it was really moved. There were some other weird things that happened but long story short ... I shutdown the iPad and restarted it. Upon opening N+otes the missing folders had returned but the notes were no longer inside because they had been moved to the new folders. I deleted one of the old and empty folders after which the notes in the new folders were no longer visible. Restarting the iPad brought them back but deleting another of the old and empty folders had the same result. So after the second or third restart I deleted the last three old and empty folders, restarted and now all seems fine. What a job. Of course, simply restarting at the beginning of all this mayhem might have fixed everything but I didn't want to take the chance.

Best Notes App I've Found!. I got it back when it was still N+OTES. It's still very similar. It has a mild problem of messing up the page format when I try to insert emojis, but closing in and out of the document fixes it. It is much more organized and neat than the other notes apps I've used, even the ones that cost money. You can't draw in this app, but you can add a picture to each document. A+ app!

Good app for taking AND SORTING notes & ToDos. I had been using Evernote as a way to keep my to do list I order. I was always bothered by the fact that I couldn't manually sort items using that app. N+OTeS allows me to do that. I was a little bit bugged by the fact that I had paid toe that ability as an upgrade which was then later included for free in the ad-supported version. But, hey, at least I don't have ads! I will say that I didn't give a five star rating because I, too, have noticed that the notes don't sync to my iPhone. I tend to therefore only use it on my iPad. But I hope the developers fix this problem in the future.

This WAS my favorite app! And it is one of my favorites again!. Update 1.0- So far this app has worked fine since a couple years ago when I had issues with it so I'm back to 4 stars. It would be 5 stars if it weren't for those problems. Update- still a 1 star. Since I've had the problems with this app which for some reason is now "BluNotes" I've started transferring my important notes to the Notes section of my address book. I can only type in the info or cut and copy then paste it there but it seems to work fine. For some the notes that I can't associate with a contact I put the name of the subject for the notes in the first and last name section and then scroll down to the notes section and put my info there. You can save files or pics or a lot of things you can with this app but I hVent lost any of the notes I've put there like I did with this app. Changed from a 3-4 year old 4S to a 6 yesterday, I have been trying ever since to get N+OTES to work since. I backed up everything to e-mail and to Dropbox but when I try to" Import and Replace" a window pops up that says- ERROR Unexpected error while replacing data file OK. So I also sent a message to the developer but have heard anything back yet. Any help from anyone would be appreciated. I can still get to some of the notes on my Ipad mini but I don't know how long that will last.

Awesome app, just 1 thing missing.... This is an awesome app, full of awesome features such as making automatic numbered and/or billeted lists, make folders with you notes inside of them for easy organization, email and tweet you notes (among many other things such as wirelessly printing them), however there is one feature missing I'd like to see: saving your notes as a Microsoft Word file, so you can easily email it as an attachment, and open it on your computer as a word document, instead of an HTML thing like many other apps only do.

Horrible App update, lost 5+ years of notes!. I have been a longtime user of this app and praised its security features! As of recently, I never had to update my phone or the app for that matter since I'm using an iPhone 6 there's no urgency for me. However, when the instance I finally did decide to update things and launched the app, everything was lost! All my notes for those 5+ years, gone. I noticed other users experiencing the same thing and hoped to wait it out for a new patch thereafter and even decided to email their customer service from their designated website. No patch, and no response from that email. I had teetered on the idea from just erasing my phone completely and backing up from 3 months ago just to see if I can my notes back, but after much research it would be fruitless. I'm honestly disappointed in how things turned up in this and it doesn't seem they are in the same urgency to realize how their users benefited from their app for a long time just to lose it all from an update. Kinda lost a lot of points in my book. I hope things can be rectified from this and that they are working on correcting this issue. Fingers crossed.

Elegant UI, pinching, swiping, plus useful options. This is just what I was looking for! The features that made this app different from all the others I tested include 1) app navigation on only one edge of the screen when in a note (leaving more screen space for the note itself), 2) pinching a note to enlarge or diminish the type size, in portrait and landscape, with the note rewrapping instead of going past the screen edge, and 3) swiping from side to side to move from note to note. This app also includes nice features like foldered organization, theme choices (purchase), and three fonts (including simple and clean helvetica, which is all I need). Quite nice for FREE! Thank you.

Started out great. What happened?. So I tried to access my notes tonight to write a new note and it doesn't work. I was able to add a new folder but wasn't able to add a note into that folder. Instead, I got a weird (...) looking thing in the line where my note's name was supposed to be. Those three dots also appeared in my other notes instead of their title. Had to reboot my iPad to retrieve everything. Thankfully nothing got deleted. but what happens when or if they do?? Makes no sense and you have no help page or troubleshooting guide. Not happy. Shouldn't have to reboot my device when there's a problem. Please address. Thanks.

Good app but weird browser feature. The browser feature sounds good, but when you're in a document on a computer and then you close it the document (not the browser page) you close out of the whole thing and go to a blank screen, and whatever you typed into the document doesn't save. I was very excited to use this feature but now I'm disappointed. Please fix this feature and make it better! This app is pretty good but I just wish this function was better.

New Update Deleted All Notes + Crashes After 20 Seconds. I don't know what happened, but after I updated the app, it erased all of my notes that I have been using & adding on to for the past year or so now. I have checked the settings to make sure that my iCloud sync tab had been on and it has been this whole time, so that's not the issue here as to why my notes are gone. The app looks nice and all now, but I have the none of the notes that I've been keeping for over the past year or so and it crashes after being open for 20 seconds or less every time I open it. Please fix these bugs ASAP or I'm never going to use this app again. If I can't access the notes that I had before, then over a years worth of planning and work has gone to waste.

DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!. I lost over a year's worth of notes after doing an update that said there were "minor" bug fixes. There were many other users that it happened to as well. I did the update a FEW DAYS AFTER the new update was released with NO WARNING from the developer that people were losing their notes. No one has received any feedback about these lost notes from the developer except for a post on Facebook about how to not lose your notes, but the problem is that my settings were already set up that way they suggested and I STILL lost my notes. I'm deleting this app because the service is terrible. No answer and it's over 10 days later. And the sad part is I loved this app, but losing an entire years worth of notes is unacceptable....and I'm not the only one who feels this way.

My Notes are Back!!!. UPDATE: Thank you! Thank you! Whatever you did in this last update yesterday finally fixed the bug that was preventing me from restoring all of my notes back onto my iPhone 6+ BluLines App. So happy to have all of my notes back on both of my devices! It looks like the App on my two Apple devices will no longer Sync with one another though? I will check on that later this week. For now, just wanted to express my gratitude to the developers for sorting the bug out. ******************************************** New Version/Update Lost all my Notes on my iPhone 6+ My old iPad 3 is still running an old version of the BluLines App with my notes. I loved how the iCloud would sync my updated notes between my iPad / iPhone 6+. Unfortunately, the App updated on my phone to new version last night & lost all my notes. I’ve tried to restore from iCloud & from emailed backup file, but neither worked. The App crashed, so I deleted / downloaded fresh & now it won’t even open on my phone. SO frustrating, as I don’t always carry my old iPad with me & I have used this app pretty much exclusively for notes (going back at least 5 years I think). I really loved this App in the past. Please fix it, so I can try again to restore via iCloud sync from my old version of App.

Great basic notes program, but has a minor security bug. This is great basic program for notes. The layout is very simple and easy to use and overall has a very organized feel. Additionally, it always runs smoothly and has never crashed or frozen up on me. The one complaint I have though is that there is a minor bug in the password feature. I turned on the feature to password protect the app and I works fine as long as the app is on the home screen (folder veiw) when you close it out. But, if you leave the app while you have a document open, when you switch back to the app it does not require you to enter your password. Overall, it's not a huge problem but I would really like it to be fixed.

Excellent notes app with folders. This app is a great replacement for the standard iOS Notes app. I was looking for an easy-to-use app with a simple interface to capture notes quickly, that would also allow me to iorganize my notes into folders. I also needed the app to work on my iphone 4s and my first-gen iPad with simple, seamless icloud syncing. This app fits the bill. It also has a nice set of features such as selecting fonts and themes to make it easy to customize to my personal tastes. Last but not least it has a built-in passcode lock feature to keep those spying eyes off of your personal stuff. Great job on this app guys!

This is a great app but.... I purchased this app when it first came out and there were no ads and it wasn’t a cheap app. I just now had to pay again to take the ads away. That seems ridiculous. You really should grandfather your old customers into the no ads plan. We shouldn’t have to pay twice. 🙄 Especially when the app was expensive to start.

A Shame. This app was great: clean appearance and good functionality. I justified the - for lack of a better descriptor - cheapness of this app (Please pay ___ additional dollars for ___: the basic, should-be-free function not included in the original app!) because of liking said functionality. Unfortunately, this app has become useless. It won't even save revisions to preexisting notes, new notes as a whole, anything on both my iPad2 and my iPhone5 (just the situation of a prior reviewer of this app). Backup doesn't work with Dropbox. iCloud syncing doesn't work. At this point, don't waste your time. Check back to see if any drastic improvements in the review ratings occur. Don't buy into the appearances of all the alleged improvements occurring in this app.

Good app but too many in ads. Even though the app is free for the day, I'm using the full version that has way too many in app purchase options. Also some bug in the latest iOS 8.3 update that is disallowing he data to be seen. The moment you go to open a note, the app crashes!!! Also don't use iCloud sync I lost all my data on my other iPhone and that was the only backup. It's a horrible setting. If required use Dropbox backup it's the best and safest backup to use. Now that I have a lot of data on it, am not looking to change only hope they would improve stability and allow export to excel for backup.

Best app ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I love this app!!!!! It really is just soooooo amazing. It does everything I need it to do! I have just tons of apps on my phone and it seems that none of them work very well. I'm am always deleting apps and finding new ones. so it always amazes me when I find a great app that I use often and seem to depend on. I have had this app now 4a few months and It still hasn't been deleted which for me is a personal record. If your as forgetful as me and in need of a dependable app to write down your thoughts than this is the perfect app to get!!! I really just love this app;)

:-/. This app looked promising. After I bought it, I was proven to be wrong. What sick minded company keeps expiring in app purchases, and what sick minded person would buy them for such an unreliable app? That's right, every time I save my note, the next time I open it, I find that half of the info is missing. I can't rely on this at all, I'm just going back to Apple's notes application. The only positive thing about this app is its simple easy to use interface. But that's it. Do not buy this app, cuz even though it's free (not really), your 99¢ will get you a better product in other, similar apps.

Not good for either of us.. Whenever I wish to purchase a specific upgrade, the app crashes. For example, if I click on, "Folder Groups," immediately the app closes and I am not even presented with the option to purchase it. Of course, this will be quite a dilemma for the producers of this app as well, so I hope they fix it. Because honestly, I was eager to buy the upgrades, but now I'm not sure I want to spend money on this app, because I've had this app for a long, long time now, but it's still not very unstable. I would say the first version I had was far more reliable than the ones after it.
