It’s nice!. We converted our fireplace to a gas fireplace and I miss the sound of the wood burning. So with this app and the insert on, I get the full effect of a fire without the mess and hassle of the wood burning!

Great. When a actual emergency happens

Has become useless. This app was kind of fun, and the ads in the free version were unobtrusive. But now they are positioned top center, rendering the app visually unsightly. Worse, it tosses full-screen pop-up ads that hide the visuals completely. Deleted.

Love this app. I’m so glad we found this easy to use app. Now our electric fireplace has that comforting, crackling sound I’ve been missing.

Helping me fall to sleep.. I use this app a few times every week. Helps me to fall into a deeper sleep. So soothing the cracklings of the flames. Nice to look at too, when awake.

Who is giving this good ratings?. That’s suspicious. This app is terrible. First thing you notice is the very unsightly add across the top of the screen. That cannot be removed. The graphics (?) were just bad. The audio is bad. This is a joke right?

Ads are constantly showing. Hard to relax when forced to watch ads with ambient fireplace. Most apps give you a break from ads; not this one. Pay up for no ad experience. If there were more choices of scenes and background sound?

Accessibility. I wish the app were a little more accessible for voiceover users. All buttons aren’t labeled, and adjusting some of the settings is difficult..

Not working properly. Hi, my name is Chris Ahlgreen and my fireplace app works great after you first press the app button itself. but seconds later, it stalls out and it’s back on the home screen. And I don’t know what’s going on with my favorite fireplace app. I’m waiting on some new updates for this app to install and get on my favorite app and leave it on the screen as before. Thank you.

It’s Soothing. Calm. Hopeful. Soothing. This is a good app. I just turn it on and place my iPad and it just works. The sound is key. I like the one calm warm reassuring fire, and the variations are all cool...hot. I want to get like a 90” super HD tv and just put this on it and then just read with hot coffee or cocoa or Irish coffee and. Yeah.

Stress levels. I’ve read once that when someone gets lost in the woods, and it becomes dark, they need to make a small safe fire. It’s been said that a fire ‘keeps you company’. So I gather a person feels more safe, with ‘company’. Our world feels less safe than it has in years. I’ll chase peace till my dying days I'm guessing. This particular fireplace makes me dream of being in Ireland. If whoever reads this, has never been to Ireland please raise a glass and make a toast that each of us gets there before we die! Safe travels

If only the music worked. I love the app and it would easily get 5 stars if the music option worked. Each time I try to set up music, the app defaults to the other sound options. It will not allow me to select a playlist.

Sweet. The best “except” I can’t get rid of that yellow box logo on the bottom right that takes you to your other apps. I paid to remove ads which should also remove that annoying box.

Wonderful substitute. I can’t afford to add a fireplace and not sure if wood burning is legal in this blue utopia but I can enjoy the sounds of wood fire while I write.

Relaxing!. I turn it on when I’m going to bed. I love watching the fire dancing on the logs. The sound relaxes me to drift off to sleep

“The Ad Banners KILL This Great App.”. The ads detract from this wonderful app so much that it doesn’t deserve much more than a ONE STAR rating. To have a halfway decent app, I have to PAY? Really?! I mean, MY fireplace at home has no such ads hanging from the mantle. I don’t appreciate them over this fire, either. Thanks.

This was the best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life. This was a great decision, I look back and compare this app to my marriage. When I felt down, and consumed in complete depression and darkness, I just went back to my handy dandy campfire app.

Lite version is useless. Why would you even offer a “free” version if the ads are constantly displayed? They should appear intermittently at least. Instead there is a small add at the top of the screen at all times. Totally dumb. Who would want this?? I was hoping to use it to amp up my ugly Christmas sweater game this year by having a roaring fire built into the sweater (it’s gonna be epic).

Like it but... I like this app. But I throw it up on my smart TV but It doesn’t seem to have that option. Would love this app if I can have that option.

Surprisingly versatile. This is a surprising app well worth downloading. I can only imagine how much better it runs on a more recent system (mine is an old ipad2). Don't forget to check out hit audio controls! You can combine sound to customize your waves etc.

The next best thing!. The sights and sounds of each type of fire is so realistic, I can almost smell the burning logs. This app is the next best thing to having a real bonfire!

Ads in version absolutely ruin effect. This would be a nice app - the fire is pretty, with sound effects, too - but having glaring banner ads in the free version ruins the whole thing. So, basically, don’t get tricked into thinking this is actually free - but looks like it would work fine if you’re willing to pay for it.

A great way to sleep. I love this so much it looks exactly like a real fire I turned my phone on and I put the fireplace on and it helped me sleep I recommend getting this

Great for car rides!. This app works great for long car rides. My infant grandson loves to sit in front of the wood stove and watch the flames at home and this is a great replacement

Great app!!. I use it for ambient light for early morning exercise When i put it across the room on the same side as the heater, even better. In a pinch when you cant have a real fire this is very helpful

Not great on iPhone X. You see a line at the bottom always. And you hear a pause as the audio loops. Should be a simple app...for a few bucks a looping video of a fireplace shouldn’t be hard but this one falls short of my expectations.

Weird. So I got this app then looked at it but then I smelt fire and I don’t have a fire place and no one was cooking it was weird I deleted it and I didn’t smell the fire it was weird I have no idea why that happed but it’s a good game just kinda weird and boring

Suggestion. A possible improvement might be that I could still hear the fire crackle if I had to look at another app.

Paid but still get Developers ad. Paid to get rid of ads yet still can’t get rid of the annoying icon of on the bottom that advertising other apps by this developer.

It won’t even let me start. So I just downloaded this App, it won’t even let me start the game I’m in it for maybe two seconds and it kicks me out I deleted the app and re-downloaded it and it still did the same thing. 🙎🏽‍♀️

Relax without lifting a finger. I love my fire by finger tip. It’s relaxing and fun. Brings back ole memories of Chicago and the fires we’d sit by many nights. Now we’re in Florida but still love the sound of the cozy fire.

No AirPlay. It does the job on the iPad, but not really great for a romantic evening unless you both want to stare at the small screen.

Timer not working for me. I just downloaded this app last week, I love it but the timer doesn't work for me, even though they said they fixed that problem. Is there anyway this could be fix?

Fireplace Live HD. Nice but really was ticked when I purchased it using my iPad but the ads never disappeared on my iPhone; which is always duplicated with downloading. Ap didn't state separate purchases!

Nice!. I like it. It's like having the TV channel that shows a fireplace at Christmas time, just all year round. It's to have it running while trying to read or think when in a coffee shop.

Not very good. It restarts every 58 seconds and music pauses. Also it won't show on tv and iPhone at same time and when phone screen goes off it goes off tv. Waste of money.

More than screen saver!. I have got this app many years ago and I use it EVERYDAY! I have it running in the office all day every day I work, I switch the screen savers to fit my mood and now , there’s snow on the ground I love the fire ones and the beaches! Thanks for the chance to thank the developers for the best app I have !

I feel warm and cozy!. I looked at a lot of comparable apps and chose this one- and I’m glad I did! Nice to have the options of candles or various fireplaces. The sound effects are very realistic! I get to enjoy a cozy fire without having to stack wood or clean out the ashes! :)

Needs AirPlay to work in lockscreen. Airplay doesn't work when screen is locked. Not as expected. :( Will give it 5 stars if fixed and please do.

Compatibility problem. Although this app is great it is NOT compatible with the iPod touch as I have tried it on both my 5th generation and 6th generation BOTH times the app crashes seconds after it launches. Any plans to fix this issue?

WARNING: The ads start immediately. For those expecting a calm relaxing fire, it's best to move on the a YouTube video. A very noticeable ad bar is plastered across the top of the screen, and video pop up ads run constantly promoting war games apps - not very relaxing. Seriously this is just a video of a fire, does it need soooo many ads?

Who would do this!?!. Who loves, even likes, or remotely cares for when you turn on the fireplace app/station etc. And there is a massive advertisement scrolling across a portion of the screen? Pretty disappointing when ya think about it. Being Christmas and all, the most wonderful Tim of the year n all!

Why the ad?. Great looking and sounding visual EXCEPT for the incessant advertisements across the top of the page. Really takes away from the overall affect.

Pub direct ds l'écran. Belle qualité d'image et de son mais juste parce qu'ils ont foutu une bannière de pub en haut (ça nous cache le haut du feu) je leur enlève bcp de points. D'ailleurs, ds les options, un bouton pour acheter la version complète s'y trouve (sans les pubs) mais rien ne fonctionne si on appuie dessus.

Not ready for prime time!. I purchased the ad-free version and it has great potential, but it's not there yet. The fires are great and it's nice being able to play your music in the background. However, even though they say the video is a loop and the breaks are barely noticeable, that's not true on my system. I use Airplay to run this on my 42" HD TV in the full-screen non-mirrored mode and the breaks are so annoying that I don't enjoy it. The loop is ONE minute long, and that gives you 50 seconds of fire and music followed by a 10 second interruption of the video and the music, which quickly becomes distracting and annoying. Hopefully, they'll soon fix this glitch. I'm guessing this is an Airplay problem, because the loop is almost seamless when played on my iPad or on the TV in the mirrored mode. The problem with the mirrored mode is that it doesn't fill the entire TV screen.

Really?. So I downloaded the free version.. It's a little ghetto but all in all I thought that the selection of fireplaces was a nice. I'd really like to see the developers remove the low quality videos to free up this mammoth of an app.. 195MB.. I get it.. 1 minute HD video clips take up space but that's not why this app gets 1 star. I decided it was worth the $1.99 so I could airplay despite my initial gripes. Once I payed and "after adds were removed" airplay worked and I was all good until I laid down, got comfortable and put my phone to sleep. Just then.. Airplay stopped. It only works while your phone's screen is on. Unlike every other app I use airplay with, this app wont let you simply turn your iPhone off while it plays. To use this with airplay you essentially have to go into your iPhone settings and set Auto-Lock to "Never". Not good and worse if you plan on using the sleep timer function. Waste of money until it is fixed but I have a feeling I'll be deleting this by tomorrow. Well done.
